Coven Fairy
"Light in the darkness, a glittering bridge of ice, the mightiest tree in the forest." Luz said, activating each Glyph with style, while dressed in her school uniform. "You can make all these and more, with Glyph magic, and if you're lucky you'll be able to have your own Glyph shroud. Welcome to day three, of Luz's magic boot camp."
"AAHHH." King cried out, as two paper fire glyphs erupted from the ground, scaring him into running away.
"Ooh!" Lilith gasped, clapping her hands, while Eda sat at her desk carving something into it.
"Okay, we've covered every Glyph I've learned, up until now." Luz said. "So today we'll learn something new."
"Boring." Gajeel yawned sitting at his own desk. "When are we gonna learn to do something useful?"
"Hey, teacher is talking, be silent." Lilith said. "Why are you even here, you have Dragonslayer Magic."
"I'm here, because I thought it might be interesting to learn Glyph Magic." Gajeel stated.
"If I may continue…" Luz began. "Since I don't know where to find any more Glyphs, I've decided todays lesson will be on, altering Glyphs to do specific things."
"Ms. Teacher, did I do it right?" Lilith questioned, holding up a sheet of paper with four ice Glyphs connected by a giant circle.
"Yeah, that's really good. Let's see how you're doing Eda." Luz said, seeing Eda's carved the fire and ice Glyphs into the surface of her desk, overlapping them. "I don't think that's such a good…"
"Double Glyph Combo, go!" Eda stated, slamming her hand on the Glyph combo.
The end result was a minor explosion, and a large puff of smoke.
"Oh dang, I was hoping for more of an ice blast situation." Eda said.
"Try drawing the elemental Glyphs in the same pattern that Lilith drew the ice Glyphs, like this." Gajeel said, showing all four elemental Glyphs in the same pattern as what Lilith drew.
"That's real good Gajeel." Luz smiled, impressed with his work.
"Luz, you ready to get going?" Kali asked, coming out the back door dressed in her uniform.
"It's time for school already?" Luz questioned. "Alright, King's in charge while I'm gone, bye!" She said, as she ran after Kali.
"Ha-ha! Power!" King said.
"Yes, teacher's gone." Eda cheered.
"Don't even think about trying any new combos." Gajeel said.
"Teacher said to master the basics before…"
"Basics are so, basic." Eda said. "Now if we wanna be powerful again, we're gonna have to start thinking outside the box."
"If we want to be powerful again, we have to start using Glyphs perfectly." Lilith stated, pulling out some flash cards. "An' we can only do that through, memorization, repetition, and following the rules."
"Well I'm more interested in experimentation, innovation, and laughing at tools, like you." Eda said, knocking the flash cards away, while heading back into the house.
"Gah." Lilith groaned, before looking at King, who was scratching himself.
"Weh?" He questioned. "Okay, okay, I'll deal with it." King stated, following after Eda. "No one ever said power came with responsibility."
~Hexside~
"Alright, our first day back after the Petrification Ceremony." Luz said.
"You gonna be okay?" Kali asked.
"I should be asking you that." Luz said. "Do you think the Bat Queen just lied to you about Sapphire's babies?"
"No, the Bat Queen's a lot of things, but dishonorable isn't one of them." Kali said, eating a candy bar. "She wouldn't lie about something like that."
"You've been eating a lot of candy bars lately." Luz said.
"I know, and I don't even like these peanut filled candy bars all that much." Kali stated, tossing away the rapper. "I've just been feeling really hungry as of late."
"Uh, do you think that might have something to do with your nausea?" Luz asked. "Because both of those seem like symptoms of…"
"I'm not pregnant Luz." Kali groaned. "I'm barren, and I'm just stress eating. Plus I'm too young for motherhood."
"Okay, okay no need to get so defensive." Luz said.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me." Kali sighed. "Let's just head in."
Pushing the doors open, Kali and Luz looked in to see all the students were acting as their normal selves. No one seemed to even care about what happened at the petrification ceremony, as they began making their way to their lockers. One their way to their lockers, Kali and Luz stopped when they spotted Willow and Gus.
"Oh my Titan, Luz, Kali." Willow cheered.
"You're here. You're okay." Gus said as they ran to them.
"It's so good seeing you guys." Luz said, as they had a four way hug. "Whoa Gus, did I uh, miss a birthday or something?" The human questioned, as they separated, noticing Gus stood around equal height to Willow now, with a bit of a deeper voice.
"Witch puberty." Gus said.
"We can't thank you guys enough, for helping us at the Conformatorium." Kali said. "I watched the reruns of the broadcast, you both were amazing."
"It's cool, I just hope it helps Eda learn my name. She keeps calling me Goops." Gus said.
"Hey Goops." A student said, spotting Gus and saying hi to him.
"It's already spreading." Gus said.
"Hey Luz, Kali."
"Amity." Kali and Luz smiled, hugging her.
"Whoa, what happened with your hair Kali?" Amity asked.
"It's… a long story." Kali said, a bit of pain in her voice.
"Oh right, I'm so sorry how insensitive of me." Amity said. "I'd heard about what happened to Sapphire. I'm sorry she's gone."
"It's okay, no need to worry about it." Kali said, before sniffing the air. "Something smells good."
"Oh, well in celebration to the return to Hexside for both of you, I baked a fairy pie for both of you." Amity said, holding up two fairy pies.
"Oh, those sound so… good." Luz said, before spotting the Fairy Pies.
"The ingredients are very fresh." Amity said, handing the pies to them for a blush.
"Luz, remember your allergy to fairies?" Kali asked.
"Oh right, I forgot about that." Luz said. "I appreciate the thought Amity, but I have a bad allergic reaction to fairies."
"Oh no, don't apologize. I didn't think to consider any possible allergies when making you the pie. I should apologize." Amity said quickly.
"Nice going giving Luz that out." Willow whispered.
"Not an out. Luz is actually allergic to fairies. I made a fairy pie once, and when she tried it, I had to rush her to the Healing Coven. Sapphire had never flown so fast before." Kali whispered back.
"Dang." Gus said.
"If it's all right, I'll take the second pie." Kali said, bringing back up the conversation.
"Of course, I wouldn't want it going to waste." Amity smiled. "I'll be sure to get you something else Luz."
"Thanks, I appreciate it." Luz said, handing the pie to Kali. "You know, after everything that's happened, I'm just happy to return to some sense of normalcy."
"Dido." Kali said, munching on the first fairy pie, before the speakers turned on.
"You can't just barge in here." Principal Bumps voice echoed over the speaker system.
"Yes we can. We are the Parent Creature Association." A womans voice echoed over the speakers.
"Who the hell is that?" Kali questioned.
"Luz Noceda, Willow Park, Augustus Porter, and Kali Clawthorne, report to Principal Bumps office now. An' you too Amity."
"Mom?" Amity gasped.
~Bumps Office~
Kali, Luz, Willow, Gus, and Amity all sat in front of Bumps desk, while a green haired woman, and brunet man covered in Abomination goo, were addressing them.
"The Abomination situation. The destruction of detention. The rampage of Grom." The green haired woman listed off. "These are but a few of the incidents that have endangered Hexside students, including our daughter."
"Odalia, the Abomination situation wasn't even dangerous, it was just a human pretending to be one." The brunet man said. "An' none of these students were responsible for the destruction of detention, that was all in part of another student entirely. An' the one who took Amity's place during Grom saved our daughter from potential death.
"Alador." Odalia gasped. "Would you please shut up. My point is, the PCA has already decided…"
"I'm not gonna say it." Alador stated.
"Alador." Odalia glared.
"Fine." Alador sighed. "These four are bad influences and must be executed."
That got all five students to gasp.
"I mean expelled." Alador said, correcting himself.
"I'm sorry Mr. and Mrs. Blight, but that's not gonna be possible." Bump said.
"What do you mean, it's not gonna be possible?" Odalia asked.
"Ms. Clawthorne is the one who's funding the new program for finding the proper tracks for different students." Bump said. "She's untouchable until her contract is up."
"You're funding it?" Luz asked looking to Kali.
"An' I get a nice chunk of royalties back at the end of every week." Kali said. "Also, my contract dictates that I have a say in the expulsion for anyone in said program, and that I have the final say."
"Oh really now?" Odalia questioned.
"I do. So Willow, Gus, and Luz, are not to be expelled, because you're simply trying to force us out of Amity's social circle, so you can control her better." Kali stated. "You know, there's a word for you in the human realm, so I'll be seeing you later, Karen."
"Oooh." Luz, Gus, and Willow gasped with smiles.
"You just got burned." Luz said.
"C'mon Amity, let's get going to class, we're got healing track this period." Kali said, getting up from her chair.
"That's another thing." Odalia said.
"What is?" Kali asked.
"You've somehow roped my daughter into this multi-track program of yours. So rest assured, I won't stop until I see you four, expelled from Hexside." Odalia said, grabbing the crystal around her neck, making it shine.
Kali didn't even have to look at Amity to know the crystal was shining, before she reached out and grabbed the crystal.
"Amity, is her own person Odalia, she's also a member of Fairy Tail, so you don't have any control over her whatsoever." Kali stated, crushing the gem, causing Odalia to gasp.
"Whoa." Amity said, with a bit of a blush.
"Alright, enough bickering students, it's off to class now." Bump said. "Mr. and Mrs. Blight, allow me to escort you out."
~Lunch~
"Man, I knew your mom was stuck up and entitled beyond belief, but I never expected her to go this far." Kali sighed, eating her lunch, which was a mountain of food.
"Uh, Luz is that normal for Kali?" Willow asked.
"I'm concerned about her cholesterol levels as well." Gus said.
"I think this is just her way of dealing with grief." Luz said.
"I know my mom can be, a lot to handle, I'm honestly surprised you stood up to her so easily like that." Amity said.
"I'm more then capable of standing up to people like her. I fought toe to toe with Belos for crying out loud." Kali said. "She's just as bad as Ivan."
"Hey, let's not bring up that idiot." Luz said. "So, is there anything happening in Earthland?"
"Hmm? Well now that you mention it, there is the annual Harvest Festival coming up." Kali said. "I wasn't actually planning on going though."
"Why not?" Willow asked.
"It's just, Sapphire loved the Harvest Festival, and it just wouldn't be the same without her." Kali said.
"What if we went with you?" Amity asked.
"I'd be down for it." Luz smiled.
"Really?" Kali questioned.
"Mhmm." Amity smiled. "What about you two?"
"I'd be up for another trip to Earthland." Gus smiled. "Then I could officially join the Guild."
"Same." Willow smiled.
"That'd be great, but the Harvest Festival isn't for a while still. Actually, it lines up perfectly with our next break." Kali said.
"Then that's when we'll go." Gus smiled.
"Kali, I don't wanna be rude, but you're eating a lot of food. Are you sure you're okay?" Amity asked.
"I'm fine." Kali said.
An' so throughout the rest of the day, Kali went through it as if nothing had changed. She still felt horrible, after learning what the Bat Queen had told her, but that didn't matter at the moment, as the instant she stepped foot outside the school, she was hit with a large ball of Abomination goop.
"The hell?" Kali questioned, before looking straight ahead, to see Odalia, lowering a large gun of some sorts.
"Well, if it isn't my favorite little troublemaker." Odalia said.
"What the fuck, is your damage?" Kali questioned.
"My damage? I simply fired upon someone who came charging at me, intent on causing harm." Odalia said, with a confident smirk.
Kali simply glared at Odalia, before pointing up. Odalia looked at where she was pointing to see the security demon, who'd caught the entire thing.
"Nice try. But you're not gonna get me expelled that easily." Kali said, burning away the Abomination goo from her body. "But let's make a deal."
"What sort of deal?" Odalia asked.
"A simple one. I'll be by Blight Manor later to discuss it." Kali stated. "Right now, I've got a doctor's appointment to get to."
Without another word, Kali pulled out her portal blade, and opened a rift to Earthland. Marching through it, she left Odalia speechless, before the rift closed, revealing Amity, Gus, Willow, and Luz behind it.
"Did Kali just leave?" Willow asked.
"Oh that's right, she had a followup appointment with Porlyusica today." Luz said.
"The Fairy Tail Physician?" Gus asked.
"Mom?" Amity questioned, before spotting what her mother was holding. "What are you doing with the Abomination Sticky Launcher?"
"Oh, nothing important Mittens." Odalia said.
Amity was silent for a moment, before her eyes widened in realization.
"You fired it at Kali didn't you?" Amity questioned. "An' you were gonna use the self defense excuse when bringing this 'incident' to Principal Bump, weren't you?"
"Oh Mittens, there's nothing you can do to prove any of that." Odalia said.
Luz whistled like she was calling for a horse, before the security demon came flying down.
"Can you confirm what Amity just said little guy?" Luz asked, rubbing its head. "Head to Bump if you can."
The security demon nodded, before it took flight into the school, heading straight for Principal Bumps office.
"You're unbelievable." Amity scoffed, marching past her mother. "You know, I'm kinda glad Kali humiliated you this morning. At least she was being honest."
"Amity Blight, you get back here." Odalia said, but Amity continued to ignore her.
"Wow, just when I thought I couldn't lose any more respect for Amity's mom." Luz said. "Why don't you just stop harassing Kali? She won, get over it. You've been bested."
"Your human language is hard to understand, but I think I see your point." Odalia said, reaching into her pocket. "If you're interested in talking things out, we can come to some sort of, arrangement."
Luz looked to what Odalia was holding out to her, and saw it was a Blight Industries Business card.
"I'll be at the Manor waiting for your response." Odalia said, as she began leaving.
"What is she up to?" Luz questioned.
~Kali~
"So, how have you been feeling Kali?" Porlyusica asked.
"I've been feeling a lot better actually." Kali said, sitting on Porlyusica's examination bed. "The nausea isn't as bad as it normally is."
"That's good to hear." Porlyusica said, turning to look at Kali, while pulling up a chair. "How about your diet, have you been eating properly?"
"Well actually, I've been eating a lot more recently." Kali said. "I couldn't tell you why, but I've also been having the weirdest cravings."
"How about your body, does anywhere else feel off?" Porlyusica asked.
"Well, now that you mention it, my chest has been feeling rather sore lately. I think my bra's getting too small again, which is a pain." Kali stated.
"Alright, I'm just gonna come out and say it." Porlyusica sighed. "No more beating around the bush."
"What are you saying?" Kali asked.
"Kali, your bloodwork and urine shows heightened levels of Estrogen, hCG, hPL, and Progesterone." Porlyusica said.
"But… that can't be right." Kali said. "That should only happen, when a pregnancy develops, and I'm still a virgin. Not to mention I'm barren, thanks to the Demon Fetus."
"But Sapphire was with child when you two fused with Formation Xero." Porlyusica said. "This is only a theory, but it is possible, that Sapphire didn't want her babies growing up without a mother, so she might have been able to override Formation Xero, enough to where when she fused with you, she gave you the chance at motherhood, Ivan stole from you. She's given you, a chance to fulfill your dream."
"But… but I'm not ready for motherhood. What am I gonna tell Gramps, or Erza, Natsu, or Luz or…"
"Okay, okay." Porlyusica said, calming Kali down with a gentle touch. "I can understand why you'd be freaking out right now. So just take some deep breaths, and let's see if the results are accurate." She stated, pulling a lacrima from the drawer. "Lay down for me, please."
Kali looked at Porlyusica, before she laid down on the medical bed, her stomach exposed. The physician put the lacrima on top of Kali's stomach, right over where her uterus would be. The last time Porlyusica used this on Kali, it was to assess the damage the Demon Fetus had caused after it was removed. But now she was concerned on if that damage would affect the babies she carried. Coursing magic through the lacrima, Porlyusica caused it to shine brightly, before the lub-dubs of two separate heartbeats, echoed through it, while two little bean shaped embryos were visible through the crystal.
"Incredible." Porlyusica said.
"What's going on?" Kali asked.
"It would appear, that you're only experiencing pregnancy now, because the magic used to put Sapphire's babies within you, was repairing the damage done by the Demon Fetus. Your uterus looks healthier then ever before." The pink haired physician explained.
"But… how are they already that big?" Kali asked.
"It would appear your increased appetite, isn't just due to the pregnancy." Porlyusica said. "The babies are gestating rapidly back to the stage they were at before Sapphire used Formation Xero. Your hunger is a result of your body trying to provide them with the mass needed for growing, and your eggs were the foundations used to bring this about."
"Meaning?" Kali inquired, sitting up.
"Meaning their bodies had been turned into pure magic energy, just like Sapphire, but they infused themselves into two of your eggs, essentially making you their biological mother." Porlyusica said, handing Kali a small booklet. "I'll have to conduct a few more tests to make sure this is accurate. But I want you to come see me for weekly check ups, and I want you to follow the instructions on this booklet to the letter."
"So you've found yourself pregnant, and your body can't cope." Kali said, reading the title aloud. "But what about…"
"I won't say a word of this to Makarov or anyone else in the Guild. It's your choice as to when you decide to reveal this to them." Porlyusica said.
"Thank you. I appreciate it." Kali stated. "But what about when Gramps gets curious about the bloodwork results?"
"It's none of his business how a womans body functions. So I'll just tell him to mind his own business." Porlyusica said. "I'll help you through this, as much as I can, but in the end, you will have to tell your friends and family eventually."
"I know." Kali sighed. "I'm just… I don't even know what I'm gonna do."
~Luz~
"Alright Luz Noceda, you can do this." Luz said, motivating herself as she stepped up to the doors of Blight Manor. Reaching into the shrubs, Luz pulled out a bundle of flowers, before stepping up to the door, and knocking on it. "Hello Mrs. Blight, I… Ooh." Luz stopped talking, as the opening door revealed an Abomination wearing a bow tie.
Following the Abomination in, Luz saw how fancy Amity had it, living in Blight Manor.
"Ooh, this place smells a lot better then the Owl House." Luz said. "Actually, it smells about the same. Guess Kali uses the same air fresheners as the Blights."
As Luz reached for the doorknob to the basement lab, she stopped and turned around when the Abomination offered her some tea. Rather then accepting some tea, Luz molded its face like clay, making it look like a kittens face, before it melted somewhat.
"Well, I tried." Luz said, before heading for the basement. "Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Blight?" She asked, heading down the stairs, before ducking down to avoid being hit by a piece of Abomination goo shaped like a hand.
"Oh, don't mind him, dear." Odalia said, sitting at a work bench sipping some tea, while Alador was working on an Abomination, like it was a mountain of clay. "He's just getting ready for our big demonstration tonight. It's looking good hon."
"I'm here to appeal to your hearts Blights." Luz said.
"That's sweet, but let's get to the deal." Odalia said. "We have a rather important presentation tonight, showing off some new products."
"Like, Abominations?" Luz asked, as Alador walked by with a chunk of goo.
"Something like that." Odalia stated. "Normally Amity helps us with these things, but she's not talking to me at the moment, and is being quite defiant."
"I get it." Luz said, understanding what Odalia was getting at. "I'll help you show off your weird Abomination gunk, if you promise to stop harassing Kali. She's already been through enough these last couple weeks."
"Don't worry human, a Blight always upholds their end of the deal." Odalia said. "Now, you might wanna go get ready because…"
~Presentation~
"We have a long night ahead of us, folks." Odalia cheered, as she stood on stage with Luz, Alador, and several Abominations and Abomination gadgets and weapons. "Welcome back, to Blight Industries."
"So, Alador." Luz said, turning to look at Amity's dad. "What would you say is the specialty of Blight Industries?"
"We make a variety of Abomination based accessories for home security." Alador said.
"Oh, that sounds pretty safe." Luz said.
"But we specialize in weaponry." Alador stated, as he and the Abominations left the stage. "You might want to duck."
"Huh?" Luz questioned, before facing forward and getting his with a pile of Abomination goo.
"Yes, our Sticky Launcher can easily subdue any foe." Odalia said.
"Hey, that's the Sticky Launcher you hit Kali with earlier, isn't it?" Luz questioned, pulling free of the goop she was in.
"An' if peaceful isn't your thing…" Odalia switched the level from peaceful, to lethal, as she fired it again, turning it into a flamethrower spewing out green flames.
~Blight Manor~
"Mom? I'm ready for the show tonight, even though you're still an ass who attacked one of my friends." Amity said, walking through the common room of her manor, before noticing a note on the mantle of the fireplace. "Found a replacement?" She read aloud as the Abomination butler began dusting her off with a feather duster. "Did anyone come to the house today?"
The Abomination butler lowered the feather duster, to show Luz's attempt at giving it a kitty face.
"Luz." Amity groaned, before taking back her coat. "I'm heading out."
The moment Amity opened the door, she stopped when she found Kali standing there, ready to knock.
"Kali?"
"Hey Amity, is your mom home? I wanted to talk with her about putting an end to her harassment before it got out of hand." Kali said.
"No, she's at the factory, and Luz is there in the demonstration showing in my place." Amity said.
"She must have come to put an end to Odalia's harassing before I could." Kali said. "Go get Gus and Willow, I'll meet you at the factory."
Running from the manor to the factory, Kali had to hide at the gate as she didn't have an invite to the event.
"Alright Odalia, if you've hurt Luz, I'm gonna make you regret it." Kali said. "Question is, how do I get in there?"
Looking around, Kali couldn't find anyone, and taking a deep breath, merged with the shadows. Traveling along the ground, Kali managed to get into the showing, and emerged up on the catwalks above the stage.
"Luz!" Kali gasped, when she saw Luz dodging her way through shots being fired at her from a crossbow gun, by an Abomination, while the crowd was cheering as if this were a death match battle.
Using the Glyph shroud she wore, Luz produced a pillar of ice that blocked a spike shot at her, before it shattered as more spikes were fired, and she was knocked to the ground. Kali gasped when a magic circle appeared under Luz, and a giant fist came out, sending the human into the air, before falling into the palm of the Abomination fist. With Luz trapped, the weapon wielding Abomination stepped closer, but before Kali could jump in to save her, it stopped short as Odalia stepping onto the stage.
"Thank you, thank you." Odalia said. "An' they said, we couldn't make crossbows more fun."
"How much more is Luz gonna have to suffer through?" Kali asked.
"Next, we're very excited to show you our last produce from this line." Odalia stated.
"Thank goodness, only one more to go." Luz said.
"My husband, has been toiling away, to bring you…" Odalia paused for the dramatic entrance as the stage opened up, revealing an Abomination soldier, with gold colored mechanical armor. "The Abomaton 2.0!" She stated, as it powered up.
"That doesn't look good." Kali said.
"It's bigger, it's better. The Abomaton 2.0 is the perfect soldier. It won't rest, until its enemy is completely eliminated." Odalia stated.
"Definitely not good." Kali stated, getting to her feet.
"You're a big boy, aren't ya?" Luz questioned, with a nervous chuckle.
The Abomatons hands morphed into weapons, as its orders were clear. Luz jumped up, and away from the weapons, as the spiked ball slammed down on the stage, destroying part of it, before giving chase to Luz. Shooting its hands out, the Abomaton made two attempts to grab at Luz, one of which was successful, as it grabbed her leg and knocked her to the ground.
"Okay, it's super strong, I think the crowd gets it." Luz said, panic clear and evident in her voice.
"She has a point, Odalia." Alador said.
"Didn't you hear me? It won't rest, until its enemy is completely eliminated." Odalia said, with a smirk. "I'd much rather have that Clawthorne girl be in your place, but oh well, you decided to stick your nose in business that didn't concern you."
"Hey Odalia." Kali's voice echoed through the factory, pulling everyones attention up, before their gazes followed Kali down as she landed on the stage, slicing through the Abomatons arm that held Luz. "Your beef is with me, keep you hands off of Luz."
"Whoa." Luz gasped, the angle of the light causing Kali to look like a warrior goddess, as she flicked her wrist, and blade, sending the Abomination goo on the blade to the stage bellow.
"You're ruining everything." Odalia cursed.
"You're actually trying to murder someone." Kali stated. "Luz, get up off the stage, you upheld your end of whatever deal you made with Odalia, now she has to uphold hers."
"Right." Luz said, getting to her feet.
"I don't think so." Odalia said, as the Abomaton regrew its hand.
"Luz, look out." Kali said, pushing Luz out of the way.
Kali quickly turned around to face the Abomaton, but wasn't fast enough, as it grabbed her, and enveloped the girl in its goo.
"This is the end for you, little pest. Your free will influence on my daughter ends here with your life." Odalia stated.
"No!" Amity's voice echoed around the factory, as the Abomatons hand broke apart, freeing Kali, as she took in a deep breath of air falling to the ground coughing. Kali and Luz looked up to see Amity on one of the pipes above the stage. "Keep your hands, off my Luz and Kali."
Both girls blushed a bit hearing her say that, before Amity jumped down and landed on the stage.
"Hey, you both doing okay?" Amity asked.
"I'm fine." Luz said.
"Same." Kali added.
"Look out." Amity said, before using her magic to stop the Abomatons next attack. "I said, to keep your hands off them."
"Amity Blight, you get down from there this instant." Odalia said.
"You're gonna listen to me for once Odalia." Amity said. "Stop harassing Kali, and leave my friends alone, or all your investors are gonna watch as I tear your precious Abomaton to pieces."
Odalia could see Amity was not bluffing, and begrudgingly accepted her daughters terms.
"Fine okay, you have a deal." Odalia said.
Luz, Amity, and Kali looked to one another, before they all took a fighting stance. Releasing her magic, Amity made it look as though the Abomaton did it on its own, before slamming its morphed hammer down on the trio. When the dust settled, the Abomaton lifted its hammer, no one seemingly aware that it was hollowed out inside, as Kali, Amity, and Luz laid unconscious on the broken stage, but it was an act, as they smiled and looked at one another.
With the sales done, Kali, Luz, and Amity got cleaned up, and ready to head back home.
"Thanks, for coming to my rescue guys." Luz said. "You didn't have to."
"But we did, to be honest." Kali said. "You're important to us Luz, and it would break my heart, if I lost you so soon after losing Sapphire, if at all even."
"She's right. You're an amazing person Luz, so we want you to stay in our lives." Amity said.
Meanwhile, Odalia was fuming mad, and the smoke wasn't just from the overheated sales device.
"As if I'd actually stop trying to end that little pests life. I will call every authority I know, to get them expelled, and I won't rest until I…"
"Odalia." Alador said sternly, shocking Odalia as she turned to look at him.
"Yes dear?" Odalia asked.
"You made a deal with your daughter. She kept her end of the deal, now you must keep yours. After all, a Blight always upholds their end of the deal." Alador said. "Besides, Mittens has shown great promise and strength, strength that could land her, as a Coven Head someday."
~Owl House~
"We're home." Kali groaned in exhaustion, before tripping over Hooty.
"This seems familiar." Luz said.
"Welcome back kids." Gajeel said. "How was school?"
"Well, Odalia Blight tried getting Gus, Willow, Luz, and I expelled to maintain tyrannical control over Amity, but when that didn't work out, she resorted to more violent methods." Kali sighed, picking herself up. "I just ignored her, and went to my checkup with Porlyusica, before I ended up having to save Luz from being murdered by her Abomaton."
"The fact that she's coming after you, means you're doing something that's going against her plans." Eda said.
"Amity was my best student when I was still head of the Emperors Coven." Lilith said. "It was clear to me Odalia had some major plans for her with how she was always talking her up."
"Odalia is psychotic." Luz said. "She freely admitted to wanting to murder Kali, and yet no one's doing anything about it."
"It's unfair, but that's how the world works." Eda sighed. "So how'd your check up go?"
"Porlyusica said it was just symptoms of a sickness that looked similar to the common cold, I think I was gonna have a case of the common mold." Kali said. "But some antibiotics cleared it up."
"That's good." Eda said.
"Well, we've had a long day so we're gonna turn in for the night." Luz said.
"Uh Ms. Teacher, wait." Lilith said, before holding up a statue of teacher Luz, handing Lilith a star as if it were a knighting ceremony.
"I can do that to." Eda said, tapping the Glyph on the coffee table, before it turned into an ice cube and rolled onto the floor.
"What about you Gajeel?" Kali asked.
"Look outside." Gajeel said.
Kali ran to the back door and popped her head out, before she gasped when she saw an entire ice replica of the Fairy Tail Guildhall.
"I'm impressed." Kali said, coming back to the living room. "Gold star for you big guy."
"You both get extra credit." Luz said, tossing a star to Eda and Lilith, to which Lilith treated it like the greatest treasure.
"Kali, can I sleep in your room tonight?" King asked, running after her.
"Sure thing buddy, just give me a moment to change into my pj's." Kali yawned.
Climbing the flight of stairs, Kali made her way to her room and made sure the door was locked behind her. Removing her top Kali looked at herself in the mirror, giving herself a side profile view, and noticing that while her stomach had been flat that morning, she now looked a bit bigger then she had been.
"You two are growing pretty fast." Kali huffed, pulling a few stacks of belly compressors from her bag. "Gonna have to hide you until I'm ready to tell the world I'm expecting."
Removing the reality altering quill from her bag, Kali used its magic on the compression bands. Putting in the settings she wanted for it, was simple enough that she didn't have to think about it too much.
"Let's see, hammer space on the inside so that whenever I wear one I'll look the same, while my full size is unaffected within, which means you two will be completely unharmed even as I reach full term with you." She said, baby talking to her belly. "Changing the size to where it reaches my underarms, and keep my chest looking the same size as well, while making these sleeveless and shoulderless unitards. An' finally, durability. Any and all kinetic energy or physical attacks will be completely negated if they make contact with the materials. Anything not covered by them, will still be affected by damage. Gotta make sure you two are safe." She stated, putting her hand to her stomach.
Finishing the programming, Kali threw one on, and smiled when she saw how well it fit her.
"Alright, now gotta get dressed for bed." Kali said.
A perk to the reality quill, was it allowed her to change the size of anything she encircled with it, and since Sapphire never used the luxury nest, Kali made it big enough for her to sleep in, while disposing of her old one. After throwing her pj's on, which consisted of shorts and a tank top, Kali unlocked her bedroom door, and smiled as she opened it, allowing for King, who'd been waiting outside, to immediately come charging into the bedroom, hopping into the nest.
"Ooh, so soft and comfy." King smiled.
"If you think you're impressed now, watch this." Kali smiled, taking King out, before pressing a button on the side, causing it to shrink back to a normal nest size.
"Whoa, did you do that with the quill thingy?" King asked.
"I did." Kali smiled, pressing the button again, making the nest grow back to human size. "Now it's travel sized, so I can take it anywhere I need to go."
"Awesome." King said, as he hopped back in, with Kali joining him. "Wanna hear about what Eda did today?"
"Maybe later King, for now, let's just sleep." Kali yawned, snuggling King closer to her chest. "Goodnight King."
"Goodnight… mom." King said.
"Mom?" Kali asked, raising a brow.
"Well… I know about the Demon Fetus, and I know how it's left you unable to have kids of your own. So I just thought, maybe you could accept me playing the part of your son?" King asked.
"Ooh, you're so sweet King." Kali smiled, hugging him closer, as she pulled a blanket over the both of them. "But that means Luz is your aunt, not your big sister."
"I can live with that." King said.
'Guess, I got my wish for having a family after all. I promise Sapphire, I'm gonna take good care of our babies, and I'll make sure they're safe.' Kali thought, as she allowed for the world of dreams to take her.
