Chapter 88 Heroic Tall Tales

Disclaimer: I do not own anything, expect the OCs. This is just a story for fun.

(Author's Note: Hello folks in this chapter I'm going to have Martin tell Finn and a few others three stories about his adventures. The first one will be true and the other two will be false with a ton of craziness. Hope you enjoy.)

One day while Phoebe, Jake, and his his wife and kids were hanging at the tree fort with Finn and Martin a knife storm came rolling in. The group quickly headed into the safety of the tree fort to wait out the storm. About thirty minutes later the group started to get a little bit of cabin fever.

"Dose anyone know any good stories to tell to pass the time?" Asked Jake.

This gave Martin a clever idea to win everybody's affection and impress Finn with his skills.

"Why don't I tell you about some of my space adventures."

"That would be awesome!" Said Finn with glee.

The group gathered around in the living room and Martin began to tell his story.

"This is how I freed an entire kingdom on another planet from tyranny." Began Martin.

The Koala Bears Rising

Martin was twenty-four years old and flying through space in a small silver ship, he had a full head of dirty blond hair and a short beard, dressed in a red jumpsuit. Everything was going good until the ship's computer alerted Martin that the ship was running low on fuel. Martin summoned his star chart and located the nearest planet that had a fuel station and headed towards it. An hour later Martin's ship landed at a fueling station and Martin hopped out to fuel it and look at his surroundings. The planet he had landed on was home to a large city surrounded by a wall with tall stone buildings. Various aliens walked around, but Martin noticed that a good majority of the locals were green lizard like aliens wearing gladiator armor carrying spears and laser guns. The other locals seemed to give the lizard aliens a wide berth.

There was a beep and Martin looked to see that his ship was done fueling, but then he saw the price and his eyes widened. Martin knew the normal price of fuel was, and he knew when he was being overcharged. The human walked up to the attendant, which was a yellow rabbit alien.

"Hey pal what's the big idea? Your over charging me for fuel!" Demanded Martin.

"Sir...please calm down. The guards will hear you!" Said the attendant nervously looking behind Martin.

A trio of guards marched up behind Martin.

"What's all this?" Demanded the lead guard.

"I'm simply telling the attendant that he overcharged me for fuel." Said Martin as he turned to face the guards and pointed to the display screen by his ship.

"Oh theres no mistake. King Bogax raised the price of everything here." Said the guard with a smirk.

"He also gave us strict orders to deal with anyone who complains about the prices, but since we're in such a good mood will simply make you pay a fee for disturbing the peace." Said another guard with a grin.

"I'll pay you with one of these!" Declared Martin as he punched the lead guard in the face knocking him into his fellow guards.

Martin then turned around to sprint to his ship, when one of the guards pulled out his blaster and started firing at the fleeing human. Martin let out a startled shout as he dived away from his ship and raced into the city streets.

"Those guards are morons! Who fires a laser in a fuel station?!" Thought Martin as he continued to run.

The lead guard slapped the head of the guard firing with the laser making him stop.

"Are you crazy?! You could have blown us all up and splattered our guts everywhere!" Shouted the guard.

The other guard gave a little apology as he rubbed the back of his head. The guards took off after Martin with two of them waving their spears and one firing a blaster. Martin ran about and the guard with the laser ran out of energy and the guard just angrily tossed his gun at Martin and missed him.

"Why would you do that? You have a spare battery in your belt!" Complained the lead guard.

"I...thought it looked cool to throw it." Said the guard looking down at the ground.

"Just pick it up and after this chase you and me are going to have a long discussion about laser gun safety and regulations." Said the lead guard.

The guard went to pick his gun up and continue the chase. Martin managed to lose the guards by ducking into an alleyway. As the human caught his breath a manhole cover opened up and a tiny white koala bear alien stuck it's head out. Martin starred at the little alien, who motioned for Martin to follow him. The human just shrugged his shoulders and followed the koala down the hole. The alien lead Martin down through a tunnel and into a large cave, which was filled with more of the koala aliens and a couple of other specious. Martin made his way to the other aliens and sat next to a blue duck like alien wearing shorts and a vest.

"So what's the deal with these guys?" Asked Martin.

"These guys are the main resistance against King Bogax. A couple of years ago these guys were one of the most liked people on this planet, until Bogax and his little army showed up saying they were in charge now. The tribe leader of these guys refused to bow down to Bogax and so Bogax sent his troops to wipe them out forcing the tribe to go deep underground. They've been fighting Bogax's army ever since." Explained the duck alien.

"What's the story with this Bogax guy?" Asked Martin.

"The way I hear, Bogax is a son of some wealthy emperor of a far off planet, but his the youngest of the guy's third family or something. Anyhow Bogax is only a teenager and he came to this planet to drain it dry of all its treasure and bring it back as an offer to the emperor to prove his a worthy heir to the throne." Said a yellow skinned humanoid alien.

At that moment a short Koala alien appeared standing on a large rock. Martin looked at the alien and at a distance he appeared young, but as Martin studied him he realized he was incredibly old. The old Koala began to speak in a strange language as he held up a wanted poster of himself.

"Whose that and what's he saying?" Asked Martin.

"That's the tribe leader and his saying that even though Bogax has put a huge bounty on his head, he refuses to stop fighting and go into hiding. If a bounty hunter wants to come after him let them try, he'll take them down along with Bogax and his army." Said the duck alien.

"The guy may be old, but he has spunk." Said Martin with admiration.

The tribe leader finished his speech and he looked at the crowd before him.

"He wants to know if anyone has any of ideas for an attack against Bogax." Said the duck alien.

Martin looked at the crowd around him and he noticed a large moth the size of an elephant near the back of the cave. This gave Martin a crazy idea. The human stood up to address the crowd.

"Hey there everybody the name is Martin and I think I have an idea to take down your little tyrant problem. You see I've been around the universe and I've faced all kinds of monsters who wanted to make me their next meal, but I managed to beat them all by doing something unexpected. I would let some of the monsters eat me and I would let a couple of them swallow me, but by letting me inside they actually made themselves vulnerable to an attack from the inside and I took them out! What we need to do is take Bogax and his little army out from the inside. My plan is dangerous, but it should work and then will send little Bogax crying home." Said Martin.

The rebels leaned to hear what Martin's plan was and it indeed sounded crazy to them, but it should work.

In the center of the city was a large stone building surrounded by a massive wall and gate. The building served as Bogax's castle and base. A couple of guards were at the front gate, when they were met with an odd sight. Martin was heading towards the gate riding the giant moth. The moth landed in front of the gate and Martin faced the guards.

"What do you want?" Demanded one of the guards.

"I'm here to see King Bogax about a special reward. I'm sure he'll want to see what I brought him." Said Martin as he reached behind himself and held up the tribe leader with his arms in shackles.

The guards gasped in amazement as they let Martin through. The human parked his moth in the courtyard, before he and the tribe leader were lead into the castle by four guards. The group were lead into a large room decorated with a large wooded throne. Sitting on the throne was King Bogax. The young ruler was dressed in fancy purple clothes, a small gold crown, and he was a foot shorter then his troops. Bogax grinned evilly at the tribe leader.

"Well. Well. At long last I finally have you Rebel Leader, with you out of the way the rest of the rebellion will fall and I can get back to draining this planet dry." Said Bogax.

"Hey before you do anything, I want my reward." Said Martin.

"Fine. Men bring this dear bounty hunter his reward." Said Bogax as he pointed at a couple of guards.

The guards saluted as they as they marched off leaving the throne room. The only ones left in the throne room were six guards, Bogax, Martin, and Rebel Leader. In the courtyard, there was a strange sound coming from the giant moth. Then the great bug's mouth opened wide and out tumbled a dozen koala bear aliens, who had been hiding in the moth's mouth. The koalas snuck through the courtyard and stealthy took out some guards before they opened up the main gate and let the rest of the rebels in. The rebels quickly took the guards by surprise and soon most of the palace was theres.

Back in the throne room Martin and the Rebel Leader decided it was time to act. Martin turned to one of the guards, yanked his spear away from him, and then slammed the spear butt into his chest causing the guard to double over. The Rebel Leader unshackled his hands and swung them at a guard next to him hitting him in the shin. The guard fell to the ground grasping his knee as he cried in pain. The remaining four guards charged at them. Martin charged forward and clotheslined two of the guards with his spear. The Rebel Leader rolled forward and locked the shackles around the other two guards's legs. The guards tried to attack the little alien, but they ended up tripping with the shackles and crashed to the ground. Martin and Rebel Leader turned to Bogax, who look terrified.

"GUARDS! GUARDS! HELP! YOUR KING NEEDS YOU TO PULL HIS BUTT OUT OF THE FRYER!" Screamed Bogax.

The throne room doors opened, but instead of guards charging in, a bunch of rebels marched in with a bunch of captive guards. Bogax was completely shocked by this and then he threw a tantrum.

"NO FAIR! NO FAIR! This planet was mine! Now daddy will never love ME!" Screamed Bogax.

The reign of Bogax was over. An hour later the defeated King and his army were forced onto some ships that left the planet. Martin was praised for his plan and actions by the planet's people. The human thanked the crowd before he located his sip in an impound lot and took off to continue adventuring.

The End.

Martin finished his story and Finn and the others clapped and cheered.

"That was awesome dad!" Exclaimed Finn.

"Trust me son you haven't quit heard awesome yet. Let me tell you about the time...I defeated the giant monkey man and saved...,.the ninth dimension." Said Martin.

Monkey Business

Martin was flying through space in his ship and decided to take a shortcut through a wormhole. The ship went through and passed through a strange dimension that appeared to a giant white room with a giant moose in it. The moose creeped Martin out, before he continued on through the wormhole and ended up in another strange dimension that appeared to be made out of large floating islands with jungles on them. Each island had a giant stone nine on them.

"Must have made a wrong turn somewhere." Muttered Martin as he starred at his navigation tools.

There appeared to be another wormhole a few miles away. Martin looked up ahead and saw a giant island up ahead with what appeared to be some kind of tall building under construction. The human decided to go investigate the building. He landed on the island and made his way into the building were he encountered several yellow skinned humanoid beings wearing suspenders and hard hats working on the building. They glanced at Martin curiously before going back to work. Then Martin heard a booming voice shout from above.

"Bring me another banana milkshake and get back to work on my tower!"

Martin frowned as he went up some stairs and came into a room that looked like a cross between a throne room and an office. Sitting behind a large desk was a ten twenty foot tall creature that mainly resembled a monkey with a few human features dressed in a silver breastplate, a purple loincloth, a purple cape, and a gold crown. The massive beast eyed Martin.

"Who are you and what are you doing in the ninth dimension?"

"The names Martin and I accidentally came to this dimension through a wormhole. I came here because I believed there was a wormhole somewhere around here and I wish to use it to return to my home dimension." Explained Martin.

"Fool! No one leaves my dimension! I am Caesar Kong and my word is law!" Boomed the giant monkey man.

One of the tower workers brought a large glass with a yellow creamy liquid to Caesar, who took it and drank some of its contents.

"Not enough banana! Try again!" Said Caesar as he he dumped the rest of the milkshake on the worker.

"Hey man that was totally uncalled for!" Complained Martin.

Caesar whirled around to face Martin and stomped over to him and picked him up. The monkey man then began squeezing Martin with his giant hands attempting to crush him.

"Get your hands off me you darn dirty ape!" Shouted Martin before he sunk his teeth into one of Caesar's fingers.

Caesar screamed in pain as he dropped Martin. The human landed in a crouch and pulled out a laser pistol and pointed it at the monkey man and fired. Caesar managed to see that laser coming and dodged it. Martin stood up and prepared to fire more lasers at Caesar, but the monkey man leaped up through a hole in the celling and began to climb up his tower. Martin found some stairs and chased after the monkey king. The two of them raced up to the unfinished parts of the tower. Caesar reached the top first and saw that Martin was a few floors below him. The monkey man then noticed some oil barrels near by and started tossing them down at Martin forcing the human to dodge about. After some quick dodging Martin reached the top of the tower and confronted Caesar with his blaster, but the monkey quickly slapped it from his hands and knocked it over to the edge of the floor they were on.

"I'm going to crush you little man!" Laughed Caesar as he slammed a fist down at Martin, but he managed to jump out of the way.

Martin rolled across the floor and his eyes landed on a sledgehammer, he quickly picked it up and faced his enemy.

"It's hammer time!" Yelled Martin as he leaped forward and slammed the hammer down on Caesar's left foot.

Caesar roared in pain as he leaped around on one foot, while clutching his injured foot. The monkey man then yelled angrily and swatted Martin to the edge of the floor making him drop his hammer. Martin groaned as his eyes landed on his blaster laying nearby and he grabbed it. Caesar was lifting up a huge oil barrel over his head intending to crush Martin with it, when Martin pointed his blaster up at the barrel and fired at it.

"NNNNOOOOOO!" Screamed Caesar as the laser hit the barrel and exploded into a fireball.

Martin was nearly blown off the floor by the explosion, but he closed his eyes and held on tight. When he opened his eyes there was no sign of Caesar. The giant monkey man had been destroyed. Down below the workers were cheering and praising Martin for destroying their evil dictator. Martin looked down at them and smiled. Then he saw a wormhole off in the distance a few hundred feet above the tower. Martin headed down grabbed his ship and headed through the wormhole.

The End.

Martin finished his story and looked at his audience, who starred at the human in awe, especially Finn. The older human had them on the hook. The first story had been true and the second one had been something Martin had made up. Now he just had to make up a crazier adventure story toconvince them that he was the greatest and most nobel person around.

"Your even more amazing then Billy!" Said Finn excitedly.

"Yep it was crazy, but that's nothing compared to this next story." Said Martin.

"What is it?" Asked Finn excitedly.

"Well...I defeated an evil planet eating...deity by...um running him over with a planet and sending him crashing into a sun." Said Martin proudly.

Planetary Meal of Pain

Martin was flying through space to answer a distress signal from a nearby galaxy, he soon came across a huge fleet of cargo ships that seemed to be evacuating the system. The human radioed one of the ships and asked what was going on.

"Huge trouble man. Our galaxy has been chosen by a planet devouring deity, so we're getting the heck out of here while we still can." Replied one of the ship pilots.

The ships flew off and Martin flew his ship deeper into the system. A few hours later, he saw the wrecked remains of several battle ships and a strange silver man wearing a waiters outfit riding what appeared to be a giant kitchen utensil the size of a surfboard. The front of the thing resembled a fork, the back resembled a spoon, and two butter knives stuck out from the sides. Martin flew his ship closer and the silver man looked at him.

"Um...hey what happened here?" Asked Martin.

"Oh this fleet dimwittedly tried to attack my master and stop him from eating a moon. Though you can see how that went. I'm the Silver Server the great herald to Colonel Big Mac Sanders." Replied the silver man.

Martin eyed the destroyed fleet a little nervously. This Big Mac guy seemed incredibly dangerous. It was then a enormous figure floated in on the scene. The newcomer was fifty foot tall man wearing white armor, with a horned helmet. The man had pale skin, black eyes, a big white mustache, and a short white beard.

"Silver Server I have just finished a moon as an appetizer, bring on the next dish!"

"At once my Colonel. There's a nice green planet and there's a red planet close by, but it doesn't have any life on it, so you can skip it if you want." Said the Silver Server as he flew forward followed by Big Mac.

"Ok...I need to think up of a way to stop...that huge guy. Apparently regular weapons don't work on him since he destroyed a big fleet of ships. Maybe there's something I can use on one of these planets." Thought Martin as he spotted the red planet the Silver Server mentioned earlier and headed towards it.

Martin soon landed on the planet and stepped out of his ship wearing a space helmet. The planet appeared to be some kind of desert with nothing else, but then Martin saw something in the distance and decided to investigate it. As he got closer he saw that it was a strange metal structure with symbols on it. The human place a hand on the structure and the symbols lite up and a hologram of a square head with three eyes appeared before Martin.

"Yikes!" Yelped Martin as he leaped back.

"Greetings traveler and welcome to Tarza, my name is Gorm." Said the hologram.

"Um...hey Gorm, can you tell what this structure is and why there isn't anything living on this planet." Said Martin as he studied the hologram.

"Sure thing. You see a few hundred years ago this galaxy was constantly plagued by galactic terrors. The President decided to launch an incredibly ambitious plan to keep his people safe, so he had his top scientist turn the planet into a space ship to move to another galaxy. The labor for this task was incredibly hard and a good number of the planet's inhabitants either died in construction related accidents or just simply decided to move to a safer galaxy. The project was eventually finished, but by then the people were either dead or had gone to live happier lives. The ship was forgotten about." Explained Gorm.

"So...this planet is a ship. Interesting. Alright Gorm I have a problem and I think you can help me solve it." Said Martin as he began to explain the current problem plaguing the galaxy.

Martin then told Gorm how he could help and Gorm was more then happy to aid the human. A few minutes later Martin got back into his ship and flew to the green planet, which seemed to getting smaller and smaller as he got closer. As he got closer he saw Big Mac with his mouth wide open sucking in a strange white glowing substance from the planet making it grow smaller and smaller. The human's eyes landed on the Silver Server floating nearby and fired a laser at his back knocking the herald from his utensil and sending him tumbling towards Big Mac. Martin then shot out a cable and grabbed the utensil and flew off with it. The cable dragged the utensil up to the ship and it was attached to a gravity field underneath it. The Sliver Sever floated to his master, landed on his shoulder, and told him what happened. The giant closed his mouth and saw Martin's ship flying away.

"None attack my sever and live to tell about!" Boomed Big Mac as he flew after Martin.

The planet eater flew after Martin and started to close the distance between them. Big Mac swung his hand out to grab the ship, but Martin just dodged out of the way angering the deity. The chase took them to the sunny side of Taza and Martin titled his ship up and flipped over Big Mac getting the giant in front of him.

"Here you can have this back!" Said Martin as he fired the giant utensil from the gravity field and hit Big Mac in his right butt cheek!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Shouted Big Mac in pain as he grabbed his injured cheek and began to pull the offensive object out.

"Start it up Gorm!" Said Martin into his communicator as he flew away from Big Mac.

Gorm grinned as he started the ship up. Rockets the size of mountains popped out of the rear of the planet and unleaded a bunch of massive flames into space. The planet moved forward towards the screaming Big Mac and the Silver Server. Big Mac finally stopped screaming in pain as he pulled the utensil from his rear and glared at it. It was then the deity noticed the red planet suddenly racing towards him.

"WHAT IN THE UNIVERSE IS THIS?!" Shouted Big Mac as he desperately tried to get out of the planet's way.

"OH THIS IS GOING TO HURT!" Cried the Silver Server as he clung to his master's shoulder.

Planet Taza crashed into Big Mac and the Silver Server and headed right towards the sun. Taza went into the sun and was engulfed by the flames.

"THE FRYING! THE DEEP FRYING BURNS! AAAAAAAAA!" Screamed Big Mac as he, the Sliver Server, Gorm, and the rest of planet Taza were utterly consumed by the flames.

"Rest in peace Gorm, you helped saved a galaxy." Said Martin as he watched the planet be destroyed.

And thus the galaxy was saved!

The End.

The story was finished and the knife storm was over. The group was greatly impressed with Martin's stories about his feats and they respected and trusted him more, especially Finn who believed he father was the greatest hero of all times. The boy went over and hugged his dad.

"You the greatest hero ever dad!" Exclaimed Finn.

"Yes. Yes I am." Said Martin with a big cocky grin.

The other soon left and the sun went down. Martin was wondering around the tree fort wondering what his next move to impress his son and his friends should be, when his eyes landed on a small journal on the kitchen table. The human picked it up and looked at the title, "Adventure Log", it was a journal of all the adventures Finn had been on. Martin went through the journal to see what kind of hidden treasures he could learn about, until he landed on one entry that got his attention. It was about a quest into a place called the Labyrinth to get to a wish granting creature named Aquandrius, who would grant any wish. Martin felt himself drool a little as he thought about what he could wish for. All he had to do was convince Finn to lead him to Aquandrius. Martin had already earned the boy's trust now he just had to come up with a reason why he wanted to see Aquandrius. A reason that would sound noble.

Then it hit Martin. The perfect reason. Martin would tell Finn, he was wishing his mother to earth so they could be together again. It was the perfect motivation to get Finn to lead Martin to Aquandrius. Martin rubbed his hands together with glee as he imagined all the riches he could get with his wish.

To be continued.
