Kong and Beowulf sprawled out onto a carpeted floor, Beowulf sprang up to see people in old timey clothes all staring at him and Kong "okay, Kong don't freak out but...we're definitely not in Kansas anymore, or maybe we are, I've never been to Kansas" Kong rubbed his head as he got up "whoa, so this is the past...ugh it smells rank" Beowulf nodded "yup, people in the past stank" Beowulf nearly fell over and Kong helped him up "I'll be okay, just spent an extened period of time in my Hero form" Beowulf opened the door to the bathroom and stepped in "so tell me, where are we?" Beowulf questioned through the door. Kong noticed the small hallways, the shaky ground and the movement outside "I think we're on a train" Beowulf powered down and rested a bit "well, atleast we're around Technology, I was stuck in the Middle Ages last time" Ben fed his Kwami "Sturnn, Let's Hunt!" Beowulf emerged out of the bathroom "okay, let's go find that shard and get back home" Beowulf and Kong mafe their way through the train passing bewildered passengers and staff alike.

Beowulf put up his hand and Kong stopped, the train seems to have been hitting large bumps as every few seconds the train jumped "bumpy tracks?" Kong asked with Beowulf shaking his head. The two heard screaming from the other side of the door, panic as the shaking became louder and louder, then it stopped, the two heroes stood there completely still, waiting, dreading on what was on the other side of that door. Silence, then, as if the sky split open and the clearest thunder struck the earth the door erupted of its hinges, Beowulf thought quick and punched the door stopping its momentum. Beowulf set the door aside and standing there was Pangolin, in all his ugly glory, Beowulf cracked his knuckles and handed Kong the Shard "keep this safe, I got him" Kong grabbed Beowulf's shoulder "are you sure? It took three of us altogether to beat him last time" Beowulf guided Kong's hand off of his shoulder "don't worry, last time I was still scared of hurting civilians, but now that I know how time works, I don't have that problem anymore" Beowulf got on all fours and rushed Pangolin, Pangolin swung but Beowulf ducked beneath the wild strike and lifted Pangolin jumping right into the roof of the train, they both landed with Beowulf carrying Pangolin, Beowulf threw Pangolin back into the other train car. Pangolin recovered but Beowulf was right on top of him, Beowulf threw down a hammer fist and struck Pangolin's head right through the bottom of the train, Pangolin erupted back up grabbing Beowulf and throwing him through the window, Beowulf grabbed the railing and swung back in through another window putting both his feet into the Beast's chest. Beowulf hit Pangolin with a series of hooks before grabbing Pangolin's arm and tossing him over his shoulder, Pangolin tried to recover but Beowulf hit him right across the jaw with a spin kick, Beowulf jumped onto Pangolin's back and began repeatedly punching him in the back of the head.

Kong watched the fight in awe, this was not like the fight before, Beowulf was seemingly in complete control, Pangolin jumped into the roof of the train disorienting Beowulf, Pangolin grabbed the hero by his costume and threw him across the car and right through the door and into the next train car, Beowulf barely had time to react before Pangolin was on top of him, Beowulf grabbed Pangolin by the snout but the beast just swung him into the wall of the car and pounded Beowulf with heavy punches, Beowulf grabbed the hand rail above him pulling himself up and delivering a donkey kick into Pangolin's face, Beowulf then went under and uppercutted Pangolin and with his other hand brought his fist down onto Pangolin's head, Beowulf then grabbed the scales on his back and threw Pangolin into the wall smashing it and sending Pangolin out of the train. Pangolin grabbed onto the side of the train desperate to hang on, he tried to find his footing but Beowulf swung out of the car and kicked Pangolin sending him tumbling along the side of the train, Pangolin managed to claw onto the side again, he looked to his left and saw Kong in the car holding the shard, Pangolin smirked and smashed through the side of the train getting back in, Kong stared down Pangolin, his legs were shaking but he stood his ground.

Pangolin rushed and punched Kong sending him flying and causing the shard to be knocked up into the air, Pangolin grabbed the shard "finally" suddenly a rocketed metallic fist struck him in the jaw, disoriented he couldn't react to Kong who rushed forward and threw a massive left hook into Pangolin's face causing him to crash into the wall, Kong picked up the shard. Pangolin roared but a chain wrapped around his muzzle and Beowulf swung in, he yanked the chain and slammed Pangolin through the floor. Beowulf then turned to Kong "you ever play Super Mario before?" Kong smiled and both of them jumped landing on Pangolin and causing him to breach through the floor and underneath the tracks, the train jolted from side to side as it ran over Pangolin. Beowulf took the shard "okay, now we go home-" Suddenly a clawed hand came out from the underside of the car grabbing Beowulf, Pangolin emerged from the bottom of the train, some of his scales were missing and he had bloody patches where the scales were ripped out. Pangolin roared and slammed Beowulf into the floor, Pangolin lifted Beowulf and threw him into Kong.

The two were too dazed as Pangolin slammed down on both of them with both his fists, Pangolin grabbed Beowulf and threw him through the roof of the train, Beowulf hooked his claws into the metallic roof of the train, Pangolin climbed up to the roof. Beowulf jumped forward throwing a punch into Pangolin's face, Pangolin slid back but was barely affected, Pangolin hit Beowulf with a thundering left hook that sent him off the train, Beowulf thought quickly and threw his chain wrapping around Pangolin, using the big brute as an anchor he swung around and kicked Pangolin in the chest. Beowulf threw a wild flurry of punches into Pangolin's body, Pangolin responded with a flurry of his own, their fists collided as neither gave an inch each taking one another's blows. Beowulf scored a lucky shot onto Pangolin's jaw causing Pangolin to stumble visibly shaken by the punch, Beowulf took the chance and trip kicked Pangolin, he then grabbed tbe beast by the tail and began to turn gaining more and more speed as he spun the monster. Beowulf then tossed him right into the locomotive, a long and deafening screech of metal erupted from the front of the train and invaded all the way to where Beowulf was, Kong joined him on top of the train "that wasn't a very good idea, we need to get the people on this train off of it, this thing'll derail in a couple minutes tops..." Kong thought for a second "I got an idea" Kong instructed Beowulf and Beowulf was impressed by his thinking "let's hope this works".

The heroes got on opposite sides of the train, Beowulf threw his chain and it wrapped around the roof of the cars, Beowulf grabbed the end of it when it came to him, he then pulled causing the roofs of the cars to tear off completely. Kong then began to charge up before he roared "Call of the Jungle!" A massive ape-like Avatar cloaked him crushing the car beneath him which didn't have people in it, he then lined the cars with his arms and then started taking people out of the train, once he got everyone he jumped off the train and Beowulf went down and sliced the coupling with the locomotive which was now emgulfed in smoke and fire. The other trains slowed down "okay, time to get off myself before this thing blows" Beowulf jumped and suddenly a clawed hand grabbed Beowulf by the ankle "oh come on man!" Beowulf was then thrown into the engine causing the entire thing to explode. Kong put down all the civilians and looked on at the fiery mushroom that came from the front of the train "oh man, Wulf! Kong's steps shook the earth as he bolted toward the wreckage, he dug through the scrap until he saw Beowulf's hand sticking out from the pile, he lifted up the clump of dust and blew on it revealing a soot covered Beowulf, Beowulf groaned then opened his eyes and slowly getting up "are you okay?!" Kong asked with Beowulf shaking the ash from his hair "yeah, just a little well done but I'll live".

In a flash something broke through Kong's Avatar knocking him out of it, Kong fell to the ground and the Avatar crumbled away. Pangolin landed, visibly charred and even more of his scales were missing "I've had enough of you two! I've never been made such a fool of...I will not let this stand" Pangolin faced Beowulf and planted his arms into the ground and crystals ripped through the gaps his scales used to be, yellow electricity slithered around the crystals. Beowulf took a deep breath and squared his feet toward Pangolin, his arms squared at his hips, his fingers twitched as blue energy formed around his left hand, the two stood there as time froze for them, nothing else mattered in the universe to either of them besides the space between the two, they didn't even feel the breeze nor the heat of the sun. In a flash it was over, Beowulf's Tether pierced through Pangolin's chest while Beowulf remained standing, Beowulf retracted his tether as Pangolin fell to the ground blood pouring from the wound. Beowulf approached the downed villain, he grabbed the villain's arm and saw the Miraculous underneath his scales, Beowulf ripped off the Miraculous and Pangolin morphed back, Beowulf was shocked, it wasn't Tremaine, it was a much smaller man with scraggly red hair. The man backed away from Beowulf gripping his wound with Beowulf approaching him and lifting him to his feet "time to talk..." suddenly a portal opened behind the man, Beowulf had little time to react as a laser fired from the portal killing the man immediately and piercing Beowulf's shoulder when he tried to dodge. Beowulf rolled backwards but quickly got up, he saw Chronoa within the portal, he put his fists up ready to fight her, suddenly a metal fist shot past him and Chronoa stopped it with no effort, she then walked forward out of the portal, she then threw the metal hand off to the side, Kong then rushed to Beowulf's side holding the Shard of the Tome "we need to leave" Beowulf put his hand on the Shard and both of the heroes were gone with Chronoa standing there, her face was neutral but somehow read as furious.

Beowulf and Kong found themselves on the streets of New York in the same place as they were when they left "okay...we're home" Beowulf held his shoulder as blood poured from the wound "that looks bad dude, we need to get you help" Beowulf shook his head "no, I'll be fine, it'll lessen when I transform back, let's just get-" Before Beowulf could finish he was struck by a blur and was sent sprawling, Kong swung at whatever hit Beowulf but it dodged him and struck him with a flurry of blows that made him crumple to the ground. Duma stood there above Kong, Duma noticed the Miraculous on the floor and picked it up "it can't be...it's Mister Tremaine's Miraculous!" Duma picked up the Miraculous, a roar from above caught Duma's attention as Beowulf dove at him, Duma then disappeared as Beowulf impacted the ground causing a crater to form. Beowulf stood to his feet and looked around, he sniffed the air "he's too far away now" Beowulf went to check on Kong, he was unconcious. Beowulf took the Shard and the Miraculous from Kong causing him to transform back to Mason, Beowulf lifted Mason up and brought him to his home sneaking him into his bed without being noticed and headed back to his house. Beowulf stumbled into his room through the balcony window, he took off his Miraculous and Transformed back to Ben who then collapsed onto his bed, his body was exhausted and he could still feel the sting from his shoulder and from the fire of the train, he slowly lost conciousness, not even the pain could stop him from passing out.
