Disclaimer: I do not own anything, expect the OCs. This is just a story for fun.
(Author's Note: I'm back folks! Sorry for the wait, I've been busy, but now I'm back. Special shoutout to 5waydragon for a good idea he gave me for this chapter and a special shoutout to nightmaster000 for the use of a couple OC's he had and for a suggestion of a character he wanted to see in this story. Hope you enjoy.)
In Wizard City a couple of miscreants were sneaking around the capitol building planing to bust into the vault and cause all kinds of trouble. The two troubler makers names were a little witch named Nyx and her pet familiar a raven named Ying.
Nyx was ten years old and she appeared to be human with dark skin, with light purple hair that was in pigtails, and dark purple eyes. She was dressed in black combat boot's, black and purple stockings, a black double-layer skirt, a simple black T-shirt, and half-length leather jacket with white fur lining on the edge's and cuff's. Ying had black feathers, with a few purple feathers mixed in.
(Author's Note: Nyx and Ying are OCs created by nightmaster000.)
The two would be trouble makers were hiding behind a dumpster as they eyed the capitol building. Ying eyes landed on Brain Wiz, who was sitting at a table with some other wizards drinking coffee and talking. The raven cawed and a big smile appeared on Nyx's face.
"Oh that's good. I'm glad I thought of that." Said Nyx's as she raised a finger and fired a tiny burst of purple magic at Brain Wiz's coffee.
Ying rolled his eyes and smirked a little. Though the raven was Nyx's companion it knew how to get the little witch to do what it wanted by manipulating her ego a little. Brain Wiz took a drink and he began clutching his massive head a few seconds later as his body turned blue and he began to shiver.
"BRAIN FREEZE!" Screamed Brain Wiz as he fell to the ground.
The other wizards and the Wizard Police that had been watching the front doors of the capitol went racing to Brain Wiz to see what was going on, and while that was happening Nyx and Ying snuck into the capitol. The two made their way down a hallway and saw Ron James carrying a bubbling cauldron of pink liquid and they saw the wizard Weapon Head standing nearby. Neither of the wizards noticed the witch or the raven. Nyx smiled mischievously as conjured up a small purple marble of magic and rolled it towards Ron James. The wizard stepped on the purple marble and slipped splashing the cauldron liquid onto Weapon Head. The other wizard shouted in surprise as he was splashed and he starred at the liquid in confusion. The liquid vanished and a bunch of pink flowers sprouted all over Weapon Head's body.
"Um...my bad." Said Ron James as he stood up and eyed Weapon Head.
Weapon Head let out a snarl as he lunged at Ron James. The green wizard screamed and ran away with the angry Weapon Head chasing him. Nyx giggled as she and Ying moved on. The two of them moved on and they soon reached the vault, which was being guarded by two Wizard Police officers. Nyx hid behind a pillar with Ying and eyed the two guards and got an idea. The witch conjured up another marble of purple energy and sent it rolling towards one of the two guards. The marble landed behind the guard and it let out a fart sound.
"Ffffffaaaaaaarrrrrrttttttttttt!"
The other guard looked at his companion in disgust.
"Dude seriously, you couldn't have done that after our shift?"
"It wasn't me! I swear it!" Cried the other guard looking rather embarrassed.
The marble let out another fart noise.
"Fffffffffaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrttttttt!"
"Ok that's it! I'm leaving and I'm going to get a new partner for this shift!" Declared the guard as he stormed off away from the vault.
"Honestly it wasn't me!" Cried the other guard as he followed his companion.
"Score for the witch girl!" Cheered Nyx as she and Ying made their way to the vault and opened it.
Inside the vault were several magical items. Nyx eyed them all with glee. It was like being in a candy store only with magical items. The witch pocketed a few small rings and a couple of wands before she made her way to the part of the vault where dark magical items and other dark things were kept. Nyx and Ying eyed a medium sized crystal that had a small frog holding a crown in it's hands. The frog was frozen. Next to the crystal was a small box with three seeds and a pail with a lid on it. Nyx grabbed the box and pocketed it before moving on. The next items that she and Ying came across a strange puppet and mask in a showcase. The puppet was a little shorter then Nyx and made out of dark black wood, it had green eyes, a toothy grin with pointy teeth, and red strings for hair. The odd puppet was dressed in pointy black shoes, white pants, and a blue shirt. Nyx saw a place on the display case and began to read it.
"A puppet built from wood from the Tree of Blight. The puppet is called Blighnocchio." Read Nyx.
The witch then turned her attention to the mask. The mask was brownish-orange with green/yellowish eyes, a large white beard with unruly eyebrows and a mustache, and black marks on the corners of it's mouth and his eyes.
"The face of Tarakudo." Read Nyx.
(Author's Note: Tarakudo is from Jakie Chan Adventures.)
Nyx was considering breaking the display and stealing the items, when she heard heard the sounds of running feet and turned to see Hunter Wizard, Huntress Wizard and several Wizard Police officers.
"Halt right there." Ordered Huntress Wizard as she notched an arrow to her bow.
"Yeah not happening tree lady! I don't have to listen to you, leaf face, or any member of you merry band of dummies!" Declared Nyx as she stuck her tongue out at the group.
Huntress Wizard frowned as she prepared to fire a magical stun arrow, but Nyx acted first by unleashing a bright flash of purple light that blinded everyone. Nyx then zapped Ying with her magic making him bigger so she could jump on the Raven's back and ride him out of the vault.
"So long losers! Nobody can stop Nyx!" Laughed Nyx as she got away.
As everybody's vision cleared the wizards saw that they had fake mustaches drawn on their faces and the words on their foreheads that stated, that their faces looked like dog buns. Huntress Wizard gritted her teeth in annoyance as she and the others went about to see what was stolen from the vault.
Nyx and Ying flew out of the capitol and into the sky. A few minutes later they were miles away from Wizard City. The witch sat upon the raven's back and tried to think about what to do. Nyx's thoughts drifted off to how her love of chaos and mischief came to be. The little witch vaguely remembered her parents and that they told her that their family had strong magic. At the age of four, Nyx's house burned down and she ended up being rescued by a person named Klarion the Witch Boy. Nyx's parents had been killed in the fire and Klarion decided to take her in as an apprentice in the ways of chaos. Klarion had taught Nyx about chaos magic, though the relationship between Nyx and Klarion had been more of a master and servant relationship then more then a master and apprentice, nevertheless Nyx learned and enjoyed chaos. After a few years with Klarion, Nyx decided she wanted to see the word and explore it.
"You know Ying I think it's time we go see how Klarion is doing. I'm sure he'll be glad to see us especially with this stuff we stole. Lucky I know how to get in contact with him." Said Nyx as she pulled a red crystal from her pocket.
As the witch went about contacting Klarion a few other things were going on in Ooo.
Miles away within a deep underground tomb, Dimentio was looking around for a special item. A gleam from a pile of ruble caught the jester's attention and he went to go see what it was. Dimentio blasted the ruble away to see a large dark wooded left handed gauntlet with a purple eye gleaming in the center of it's palm.
"Awe the Left hand of Ludicrous, with this my project will almost be complete." Said Dimentio as he reached for the hand.
The eye looked at Dimentio and started to bombard him with images of pure madness. Images of people burning to death, as spouts of lava shot from the ground, and tornados tossed things around flashed before the jester, yet he wasn't bothered in the slightest. Dimentio picked the hand up and the images stopped.
"Sorry to break this to you, but I'm already mad, so nothing you show me won't work. Your going to help me do something great." Said Dimentio before he teleported away with the hand.
At Marceline's house a mysterious package suddenly appeared in a flash of light. Lucinda heard saw the flash and she went to go investigate it. The werewolf saw the package and a note on it. The girl picked the note and the package up, before she headed inside. Marceline was hanging in the living room, while Lance and Henry were out doing some special training.
"What's that?" Asked Marceline as she pointed at the package.
"Well according to this note, it's a present from grandma and grandpa. They sent us a special magical item to help us against any huge threats." Said Lucinda as she read the note.
Marceline took the package and opened it. Inside there were two earrings one resembled a moon and the other resembled a sun.
"According to this note, were both supposed to put an earring on and...will fuse into a new being." Said Lucinda as she studied the note.
"Well this...should be interesting." Said Marceline as she grabbed the moon earring and put it on her left ear.
Lucinda put the note down and put the sun earring on her right ear. At first nothing happened, but then both cousins were dragged towards one another by an unseen force and they were enveloped by light. The room was engulfed by light and where Marceline and Lucinda once were a new figure stood silhouetted by the light. The new figure stood for a few seconds then it bubbled and split into Marceline and Lucinda who crashed onto the floor.
"Whoa talk about a head rush! What happened anyway? I know the two of us fused for a little bit, but then we separated." Said Marceline as she stumbled to her feet.
"Well...according to the note, both people have to have their desires and hearts sync otherwise the fusion won't hold." Said Lucinda as she picked the note up.
"Well aren't we cousins, who both experienced the same things over the past thousand years. It shouldn't be that hard for our hearts to sync." Said Marceline as she took her earring off.
"Yeah...I know what you mean, but maybe something's aren't that simple." Said Lucinda as she took her earring off.
"Well we're family and were both pretty old and full of experience, will figure this out." Said Marceline as she put her earring in the box.
"Yeah." Agreed Lucinda as she put her earring in the box and then put the lid on it.
Meanwhile miles away in the badlands, the Citadel villains were still constructing their ship. Jasper, Xeexi, and Jack had reported what happened at the Dream Kingdom and Hookocho seemed interested in Jasper's encounter with the son of Atalanta. Shen decided that the group need a proper name.
"Can we call it Jack and the Jackers?" Asked Jack.
"No!" Said Jasper as she punched Jack in the face and knocked him to the ground.
"We need a name that installs fear." Said Klorgbane.
"Something dark and hateful." Said Xeexi.
"How...about Shadow Spite?" Said Hookocho.
"I like that." Said Jasper.
The other villains agreed.
"Henceforth we shall be known as Shadow Spite." Said Shen.
Jack grumbled and decided to go on a mission of his own to get away from the other villain for a little while. The pumpkin headed immortal began to think about his encounter with Django and an idea began to form in his head. Django could get Jack's scythe back to full power! Jack only need to figure out how to persuade the undead hero. The immortal villain decided he needed to use his knowledge of underworld energy to track Django down. Several minutes later Jack had created a makeshift tracking compass out of some scrap metal and some dark magic to lead him towards Django. Jack followed the compass and it lead him to the Boneyard Kingdom. The pumpkin headed villain carefully entered the kingdom and began looking for Django. Jack noticed that the compass was picking up two signals and became curious about the second signal. The compass lead Jack to a small temple and he entered it. Inside the temple, Jack saw an alter with a grey metal shield with a skull carved into the the center of it and next to the shield was a bone that appeared to have barnacles on it. Jack's jaw dropped in awe as he recognized what the items were.
"It must be my birthday! I now have the Skull Shield and the Bone of Barnicles! And once I get my scythe fully charged up I'm really going to be something to behold. Just wait until the others see me." Said Jack as he slipped the Skull Shield onto his left arm and grabbed the Bone of Barnicles.
A bunch of bones shot out of the Bone of Barnicles and they began to wrap around Jack forming a suit of armor complete with a purple cape and a helmet, which Jack's hat say upon. Jack let out a whoop of excitement before heading out to locate Django. The compass lead Jack to the castle courtyard and he saw Django hanging out with Skeleton Princess.
"Man this will be easy." Thought Jack as he waved his scythe and summoned some vines to grab Skeleton Princess and take her over to him.
Django spun around and faced Jack with an angry look on his face.
"Hello dead boy, did you miss me?" Asked Jack with a grin as he stood next to the tied up Skeleton Princess.
"Not in the slightest." Said Django.
"Oh you hurt my feelings!" Said Jack with mock sadness.
"What do you want?" Asked Django.
"Oh nothing much. I just want you to restore this scythe to full power for me. You can just ask your dad to do it and once you do that I'll give you back the dead girl." Said Jack.
"Fine...I'll do it." Muttered Django.
"Good boy." Said Jack as he tossed the scythe to Django.
Django used his own scythe to open up a portal to the Underworld, quickly located his dad in the palace, and explained the situation.
"Well...son I'm not to happy about this, but if this will save the women you love I'll do it." Said Death as he took the old scythe away from Django.
Death rubbed his hands on the scythe and it began to glow green. After a few seconds Death handed Django the scythe.
"Thanks dad and I promise you I'll make Jack pay for what he did and I'll take him down." Said Django with a bow.
"Good luck son." Said Death.
Django returned to the Boneyard Kingdom and presented Jack with the powered up scythe. Jack grinned as he took it.
"Oh yeah, now we're talking! You did a good job and as I promise heres your dead girl back." Said Jack as he pushed Skeleton Princess over to Django.
Django freed Skeleton Princess from the vines and checked to see if she was alright. Jack laughed as he tossed the Skull Shield to the ground and stood on it. The Skull Shield rose up into the air with Jack standing on it. The pumpkin headed villain laughed insanely and turned to look at Django.
"So long Django! I'm going to have some real fun with my powered up scythe. Hope to see you again real soon!" Laughed Jack as he flew off and away from the Boneyard Kingdom.
Django gritted his teeth in anger as he clenched his fist.
Several people had gotten new items of power and things were heating up.
To be continued.
