Chapter 1- Gringotts

Potter Manor was a buzz with activity on the morning of August 11th 1971. Jasmine potter awoke to her twin brother James Charlus Potter jumping on her bed. "It's Here, Its Here!"he yelled excitedly. "Whats here?" she asked, stiffling a yawn. "Our Letters have arrived!" Jasmine had to cover her ears because he was so loud. "We knew they would be coming, its our 11th birthday." she said in a rather bored tone. James just stuck his tounge out at his sister, and jumped off his bed and ran out of the room. Jasmine rolled her eyes at her brothers immature antics.

Sighing, she gracefully slid out of bed, andglided over to her walk in closet, and picked out an outfit for today. She ended up choosing a blue summer fress with pink cherry blossoms all over it. The dress was bought in a magical clothing shop in Japan on their vacation. Jasmine fell in love with it as soon as she saw it. the cherry blossoms were enchanted to look like they were floating to the ground.

After she took a shower and got dressed, she ran a brush through her long curls, and glided down to the dining area to have breakfast with her family. when she got there, she had to stiffle a laugh at the scene. James was in a tangled mess on the floor, having tripped over the house elf Minky. she walked over to help him up, only to recieve a redfaced glare for her efforts. "I didn't need help, i could have gotten up on my own." he said rather rudely. Before she could retort, Charlus Potter strolled into the sunny dining room, and cuffed his son on the back of the head.

"What was that for?" He asked, outraged. "You be nice to your sister." Was all that the man said. "Thanks Daddy." Jasmine said with a grin. James just groused under his breath about how unfair it is that she's the favorite, even though he knew his parents loved them equally.

Dorea Potter strolled into the room at that moment. Immediately, James shut his mouth. he could get away with back talking with his father, but his mother would not put up with it at all. Jasmine glanced at her mother. "Morning mama." she said cheerfully. "Good Morning my darlings." she said. "Have you gotten your letters yet?" asked Mr. Potter. Both twins got an almost identicle grin on their small faces, and held out their letters. "Well, i think this calls for a trip to Diagon Alley today." he said happily. "YAY!" Both children yelled.

Mrs. Potter snapped her fingers, and Minky reappeared. "Madam Potter requested me?" asked the wrinkled elf. "Yes, the children have recieved their letters. As such, i want you to serve them each a plate of their favorate breakfast before we head off to Diagon alley." She said kindly. Minky bowed low. "Minky would be most honored." she said before disappearing with a loud pop. She returned ten minutes later with two plates. The one that she put in front of James contained a stack of waffles, covered in strawberries and whipped cream. Jasmine recieved a plate of eggs benedict with sausage, bacon and orange juice.

Once the children finished their meals, the plates disappeared off of the table, and the kids ran to get their shoes and socks. Another 10 minutes later they were standingin the entrance to Gringotts bank. Charlus lead them to a counter towards the back of the large foyer, where Griphook, The goblin who managed the potter vaults sat. "Hello Griphook." Mr. Potter said with an air of royalty about him. The Potters just so happened to be The oldest, and most influential wizarding family in the whole of great britain.

Griphook shook Mr. Potters hand. "What can i do for you?" Asked the goblin. "My children are starting Hogwarts on the first, We need to access the Potter vault to extract the funds for their school supplies." Mr. Potter said. The goblin accepted the key, and called over his assistant, a clumsy goblin by the name of Zogwart.

The young goblin tripped over himself, running to his superior. "Yes your excelency?" asked Zogwart. Griphook looked down on the goblin with distaste. "The Potters wish to access their vault." He said with disdain in his voice. "Right away sir." The young goblin said to his boss. Charlus turned back to Griphook. "May your gold be ever increasing." he said respectfully. "And Yours as well." Griphook said to him. And then, zogwart led them to the staircase leading to the cart that would take them to the Potter vault.
