Cody sat in his chair, still surprised that the Funtime Gang was in his office. Funtime Foxy was sitting on the floor, glad to no longer be shocked. Funtime Freddy sat with her friend, glad they could finally move. Ballora decides to dance a bit, having a chance to stretch her limbs. Baby sat on Cody's desk, making him blush.
"So, as you can see, we come to life at night, however, we were never allowed to move. All the night guards before you kept shocking us and we had to wait until they fell asleep but that rarely happens. You are the first to allow us to move." She said.
"Why?" Cody asked.
"We don't know." Funtime Freddy answered.
"Since we activated, we have been aware of many things. Singing, and bringing smiles to kids faces was nice, but we wanted to do more. But, the place has a rule about us leaving our places at night. We barely could move without being shocked. We tried speaking, but nothing worked." Baby said, sadly.
Cody looks down. They were forced into standing in place all the time. Even at night. When Willaim told him about the rule of shocking them, he looked a bit upset about it. Cody knew they looked life-like and couldn't image the same pain they have gone through if he was in their place. He was still wary about them, but Baby sounded truthful so far.
"Forgive me if I'm having a bit of trouble believing you all. I mean, I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this whole thing." Cody told them.
"We understand. Take all the time you need." Funtime Foxy said.
"Just please come back tomorrow as well, please?" Baby asked.
Cody looked at her, feeling his heart beat faster at her look. He turns away, trying to hide his blush.
'Damn it, why does she so cute like that?!' He thought as he tried to give his answer.
"F-F-Fine. I need to keep a job in order to get my parents to back off." He said.
Circus Baby smiles, glad this cute boy was going to stay. Ballora notices her friend smile and shook her head. They were aware of a lot of things. Even the idea of love. They all experience it at some point in their lives. Sadly, they never went past anything more than the "Crush" stage. It seems that Baby is hoping that Cody would be her new love. However, they barely knew anything about him.
"Which reminds me." She said, out loud.
"What can you tell us about you?" Ballora asked Cody.
"Me? I'm no one special. I'm just a teen that lived with my parents. They use to spoil me but I outgrew it long ago. Been mostly lazy, not thinking much of my future. I wasn't even sure where I wanted to go once I turned 18. I do know my parents won't provide for me once I move out. Other than that, there's nothing important." he said.
"What about school?" Funtime Freddy asked.
"Well, I'm a Jock. I'm pretty good at Football, Track, and a few others. My grades are fine. I get A's and some B's. Some of my fellow jocks think it's fun to pick on the nerd types, but I don't." Cody said.
"You don't?" Funtime Foxy asked.
"I never thought so. They are just trying to survive school as well. I don't need to make it any worst." Cody said, still disliking the bullying at his school.
"Anything else?" Baby asked.
"Like what?" Cody asked, seeing her pet one of her ponytails.
"Do you have anyone special?" She asked.
Cody looks away, knowing what she was asking. It still hurt him, but he needs to tell someone about it.
"I thought I did." He said, surprising them.
"She was one of a kind. Beautiful, smart, and a bit sassy. I asked her out and things went along pretty well. Sadly, it wasn't meant to be. Just one week into our relationship, I discovered that she was dating boys just to rob them of their money. I almost fell for it. I broke up with her and told the police about it. Last I heard, she was put in community service for the next five years, making her repay all the boys she robbed." Cody said, looking sad.
"I really liked her. I liked her and almost became one of her victims. I got over her, but..." He tried to say.
The Funtime Gang looked sad as well. Baby hops off the desk before walking up and hugging Cody, surprising him.
"We're sorry if we made you remember any bad things." She said, not letting go.
"T-T-Thanks." Cody blushed due to how close her breasts were to his face.
Ballora walked up and pulled Baby away. She was going to have to talk to her about her actions.
"So, what to do something fun?" Funtime Foxy asked.
"We have some board games if that works." Funtime Freddy added.
"Well," Cody said, having a quick look at the cameras.
So far, nothing looked out of place. He still had more hours until his shift was over. He guess a quick board game wouldn't hurt.
"Sure. What do you got?" He said, unknowingly making Baby smile.
Funtime Foxy pulled out a deck of cards, asking if they wanted to play go fish for now. Cody agreed and played with the girls. Baby tired to sit next to him before Ballora reminds her that she can't look at his cards.
4 PM,
Cody stretch as they finished a game of Chess. He played against Baby and was surprised at how good she was. He also notices that she didn't take the many checkmates she had. Not the many the stare she kept giving him. It didn't creep him out, though. If anything, it looks like she was trying to flirt with him. But he had to be seeing things.
"Whew, I think I'm done for the night." He said, looking at the clock.
"Same here." Funtime Freddy said.
"Thanks for playing with us, Cody. It was fun." Funtime Foxy said.
"Same here, I guess," Cody said, having done his best not to stare at each girl's breasts during the games.
"So, you have two hours left. What will you do now?" Ballora asked.
"Not sure. I have been checking the cameras in between games. So far, no trouble." Cody said.
"Kind of hard when we can't move around at night." Funtime Freddy said.
"It was nice being able to do so." Funtime Foxy said.
Cody smiles having grown a bit relaxed with them during the night. He still wasn't sure about them but they had done nothing to him and started to enjoy their company.
"Hey, Cody?" Baby asked, sitting next to him.
"Y-Yeah?" He said, trying not to blush.
"Can we do this again tomorrow as well? It was great having a chance to play with someone." She asked.
"S-Sure, I don't mind." He said, almost flinching from how close her face was.
'Is s-s-s-she going to k-k-k-k-k...'
Ballora notices Cody's face and quickly acted.
"Why don't we give him some room? We need to get back to our place soon." She said, making Baby pull away.
"Yeah." She said, sadly.
Ballora knew that Baby had found her crush, but this was the boy's first night here. He needs some time and Baby is making him all flushed with her actions.
'Oh, Baby. You're going to ruin the boy before he could get used to you.' Ballora thought, shaking her head.
"Anyways, have a good night, Cody. And thanks again for playing with us." She said.
"S-S-Sure." He said as the Funtime Gang left.
Now alone, Cody took a few minutes to get his thoughts in order. He just played games with four anime animatronic girls and one of them was flirting with him! He had a strong feeling that no one would believe him. And yet, that didn't bother him.
Cody took a breath. Looking at out the windows to see the girls back in their places before going still. He looks at the clock, seeing he had a few more minutes before his shift was over. He threw away his wrappers and cups that were brought in for him and clean up his office. He had a strong feeling that this week was going to be far different than his normal week.
And thus ends Night 1 for Cody. It will take him a while to warm up to the girls fully and it seems Baby is already flirting with him. However, Ballora is keeping her in check, not wanting their new friend to get scared. Remember, this one is single paring. Cody has yet to return his feelings, not since his last girlfriend. He did tell the others a bit about himself. He's almost like a nicer Dash, but I still have to think on him a bit more.
So, Night 2 is the next chapter and I might just cover Cody getting to know the girls for the rest of his week before I being in the main villain. Don't worry, I don't plan on making this short.
