I hate Harry's really confusing loyalty to Dumbles. It had no point and no start... it just swallowed him whole.

I am not abandoning this story, I was merely looking for focus. What I wanted to do...

"Where are you going?" Harry asked his brother, Merlin that was still a weird thing to even think. "

Adrian had put on a lot of weight, eating almost as much as Dudley, as was his order by Madam Pomfrey. He looked rather healthy, with his long black hair, he had started walking a lot and exercising. The local people were told he was Harry's long lost twin separated after their parents died, so few questioned it.

The now healthy looking Adrian smiled at him by the door. "Diagon Alley, I am getting books on dueling."

"Why now?"

"Harry, I love you, but you are a lazy wizard. You barely study, rarely focus on your survival despite always being in danger. I refuse to die because you won't save yourself." Harry recoiled but Adrian was not done. "You need to start caring for yourself beyond the needs of others. I won't offering myself on a platter for Voldie. Not now, not ever."

As his brother left, Harry was wondering...

"I don't do that... do I?"

Adrian easily managed to take the bus to Diagon Alley, wearing a cloak to mask his face. It was late, so no one knew it was him. He wished he had polyjuice potion, or another other means to protect himself. What he did have however was the smarts to know to mask his face. He had no scar, so that helped at least. Looking into the window by his side he sighed. "Pity I don't have red hair like mom..." And then, as he said those words, his fluffy, messy black hair turned stark red. Stunned, he focused harder. "Brown eyes. " And his eyes shifted, turning the same brown as Ginny's. "Amazing."

For the next ten minutes he shifted his appearance turning into Snape, Molly, Hermione and so on. He landed on his first match, him with brown eyes and long red hair that he put in a knot. He felt comfortable and confident as he walked into the Leakey cauldron and into Diagon Alley. With the money Harry had given him, he bought three books on dueling, two on potions, a book on transfiguration ( to figure out his powers) and then a handful of new clothes that would fit better. Muggle clothes at that.

No one questioned a thing and he was back after a few hours, comfortable and pleased, walking towards the Dursley's home. Only to throw himself to the side as a Stupefy flew at him. Growled, pulling out his own wand, only to feel his features to snap back into place. He heard a gasp, and an unfamiliar woman pulled off a cloak. "Harry, you're a Metamorphagus?'

"Not Harry, and maybe..."

The woman sighed, her features shifting into that of a duck, then a pig, then to match his own. "Wotcher, name's Tonks... and you're like me. Our gift is rare!"

"You're telling me that Dumbles has people watching us despite trapping us in our abusive home?" she shivered at his tone. "Voldemort might be the better option."

She staggered back. "How could you say that?"

"He isn't trapping children in abusive homes, or forcing them to do terrible things to survive. At least with Voldie you know where you stand... you're pathetic if you won't question the evil things Dumbledore does."

He hurried inside, hurrying to his bed, eager to to get started on his newest venture. Dueling and practicing his metamorphagus powers.

He had no idea of the changes born from that day, that moment... nor could he ever dream of all that would come with them.
