The next chapter is posted! Enjoy :)

The three days surprisingly went pretty quickly.

And before they knew it, Planet Wer'sah was in view of the ship. The pair were currently sitting in the chairs on the control room as the view of the world slowly took up the window in front of them.

Raelyn could see this planet was a little different in appearance to the last one. Planet Sy'tria was mostly green with some blue streaks and splotches to it where the water and forests met.

Planet Wer'sah did have greenish and blue hues to it. But it also had some yellow and reddish hues to it as well mixed in.

"What are the yellow and reddish areas?" She asks.

"The deserts. And then of course, the green areas are the forests and blue areas indicate water. This world does have a small handful of oceans. Though the oceans aren't as big as the ones on Earth. Everything here on this world is more condensed than your home world." Bhu'ja told her.

"Yet, it's definitely teaming with wildlife from what you told me about it yesterday during training." Raelyn implied.

"Yes, it is. That's just one of the things the hunters like about this world. There is a high abundance of prey for us to hunt. I can't think of a time I ever left here with less than five trophies." He said.

The young Arbitrator pressed a few holographic buttons and pushed forward the lever more, and they were off.

Like always, Raelyn held onto the armrests of her chair as they broke through the world's atmosphere. And once they cleared it, she was surprised to see not a normal bright blue sky, but a somewhat reddish sky.

This was new to her. Even when she was a captive under the bad bloods, the few planets they brought her to have the usual light blue hue skies. Except for one planet that was almost constantly nighttime. Where the sky was the typical dark navy to black one would normally see in a night sky.

"Bhu'ja? Is it dust or dawn right now? The sky is bright red." She pointed out, not able to take her eyes off the strange colored sky.

The pale yautja shook his head, "No, this is early afternoon. The sky is always like this. Even at night, it doesn't get completely dark. The sky just becomes a darker shade of crimson. Even the sun here is red, and the moon has a constant reddish orange hue to it. Similar to what you call harvest moons on your world. But the moon here is much bigger than Earth's."

"That's pretty neat." She replied.

"I also forgot to mention this earlier. But a lot of the animals here, look dinosaur like in description. There is even one very large carnivorous animal that strongly resembles a T'Rex.

It's called a Un'jiwe. Only differences are, its front arms are not small and skimpy like a T'Rex's and it's a couple meters bigger." He informed her.

She gave him a look, "I'm surprised you guys even know what dinosaurs are. Unless...have yautja been hunting on Earth even then?!"

"Yep, one of my distant ancestors had a T'Rex skull part of his trophy collection. It was passed down many generations. I believe one of my relatives still have it stashed somewhere." He said, rubbing his chin in thought, trying to remember who currently has it.

While Raelyn just sat there giving him an incredulous look.

"That's insane. An actual fucking dinosaur skull. You guys really did enjoy hunting the biggest most dangerous game you could find, huh?" She pointed out.

Bhu'ja smirks, "We still do."

She shakes her head but smiles at his confidence and smugness.

He found a clearing among some trees that kind of looked similar to palm trees. Then he set the ship down. And once they were grounded, the two of them got up and headed for the door.

Raelyn grabbed her bag full of food and water on the way out that she prepared earlier for this trip.

Then they made a stop in the kehrite, so Bhu'ja could suit up and grab some weapons. Something he did quite fast and with ease. He must've finished putting on his awu'asa and mask in under five minutes.

Then he went to the weapons wall and grabbed the weapons he needed.

She watched as he grabbed his combi stick, sword, smart disc, small throwing knives, plasma caster, shuriken, wrist blades, and net gun. The guy always liked to be armed to the teeth.

Even when they were on not so dangerous worlds like Planet Sy'tria.

He then pulled over this large leather looking bag and brought it over to her. Then he set it down on the floor and opened it up. And she watched him pull out what looked like more armor.

It was only when he held it out in front of her, did she realize it wasn't for him.

"Bhu'ja what...? Is that for me?" She asked, clearly surprised.

"This is why you haven't seen me come to bed the last couple nights. Was in the work room making this for you. I just used the measurements I already had for your clothes and fashioned armor to the correct size." He told her.

There were a few separate pieces. A chest piece that circled around to the back, a couple shoulder pieces, what looked like a flowy chainmail loincloth. And a couple of wrist bracers. Last but not least, he pulled out a mask.

Raelyn couldn't believe the amazing gift he'd just given her. And it wasn't just any gift. This one he went out of his way and took the time to make for her.

She couldn't help but wrap her arms around his waist.

"Thank you so much. They look great." She told him.

He ran a hand through her hair.

"You're welcome. Come, I'll help you put it on." Bhu'ja said.

He also had thermal netting for her. But feels she may not need it for this trip.

He first helped her put on the chest plate that rounded off around her back and closed on the sides. Next came the metal shoulder pieces that connected to the shoulder straps on her armor.

Then he helped her slip the chainmail loincloth over top of her cloth one.

Bhu'ja set the vision setting on her mask before helping her put it on. He will explain to her the different settings and how to work it while they were out exploring.

Then he led her over to the weapons wall and pulled a combi stick, short sword, and plasma pistol off the wall.

He never taught her how to use the pistol yet. But he'd feel better if she carried at least one projectile weapon on her. Plus, they really weren't all that hard to use.

You basically tap a couple buttons, just point and shoot.

Bhu'ja stuck the weapons to her back.

"How are the weapons sticking to the back of my armor? I saw no holders there for the weapons." She said.

"The alloy in which the armor is made out of has some magnetic properties. The weapons are held on, via a strong magnet. So, whenever you need them, you just pull them off. And when you want to put it back just reach behind you and press it to the armor, and it will stick." He instructed.

While this whole get up looked really awesome, she's wondering how necessary it was for her to wear it all.

"While I really love the armor you made me, is it really necessary to wear it out there? I mean, is it that dangerous out there?" She asks.

"I believe so. Better safe than sorry. As I said, there are some large and dangerous prey out there. Some of which may look at us like dinner.

But this armor and the weapons at the moment is for your safety. I still don't expect you to fight any of the dangerous creatures we come across.

I'll deal with them if and when it happens. But this is all just extra protection for you." Bhu'ja stated.

Raelyn nodded, and she picked up her bag of supplies and shouldered it.

Then the pair left the kehrite and headed towards the ship's exit.

He punched in the code and the door slid open. The small ramp deployed and hit the ground. Then both the young Arbitrator and the ooman female stepped out and onto solid ground.

Raelyn looked around through her new mask. The setting was on regular human vision at the moment.

As Bhu'ja locked up the ship and then activated its cloaking device, she heard a strange screeching sound above them in the air. It startled her a little at first because it was quite loud.

Her eyes widened behind her mask as she looked up at the strange birds flying over.

They had leathery skin and bat like wings. With a small odd, shaped head that resembled a hawk's. Hell, it was like a dinosaur version of a hawk. It looked roughly around the same size as one too.

'I feel like I just stepped into a Jurassic Park Movie here.' Was the first thing that came to mind.

Bhu'ja saw her looking up at the pair of strange dinosaur like birds flying over them.

"They are call ky'sou. They are quite harmless. Eat small animals." He said as he walked over to her.

"Though you are considered quite small yourself." He added at the end, as a joke.

"Ha, ha, very funny. We can't all be giants like you." She retorted.

He chuckled, "You think I'm a giant; wait until you see a yautja female. Most of them tower at least a foot taller than me."

"Yeah, still can't quite wrap my mind around that. Being a human, I'm just so used to seeing most men dwarfing women in both height and proportion. No doubt it's going to blow me away when I do see one.

From the holographic images you showed me of them, they definitely look quite intimidating and terrifying. I can almost see why male yautja would walk on eggshells around them. Though it is pretty cool that besides Elders, you said the clans or the world itself is governed by high Matriarchs." Raelyn replied.

"Yes, while the clans seek the Elders for answers among any big problems that may occur, they won't make any large decisions without going over it with one of the high Matriarchs first. They are the ones with the final say in the matter." Bhu'ja informed her.

He continued telling her more as they left the ship behind, and he started leading her down a dirt and rocky path into the woods to start their travels.

Until Next Time ;)
