Chapter 5 saving private Angron
Miki had given a harsh glance at the custodian. Her anger spiked. Why would they want to hear about Konrad at this moment?
"And why is that?" Miki asked. In swift humble action, the captain-general took a knee. And stabbed his spear into the ground next to him.
"Please madam your son might be able to mend Konrad's soul, mind, and heart," The captain-general pleaded. The other devils began to take an interest in his words. Rias stood up and gripped her first.
"And why should Konrad deserve that when she wasn't even able to protect him, and how could you redeem that monster?" Rias asked, now actually marching up to the golden warrior. Her destructive energy started to flare and act out. Though the captain-general was not worried about her, the more concerning part was her older brother behind her. He could tell that Sirzech had seen war and that made the presence of him being in the room, put the captain-general on edge. So he would not act out or do anything to spark conflict.
"I know Konrad seems loathsome, but given the chance she could be given a better future-" He was cut off by Rias.
"She has earned nothing, what could she possibly do to make the world better," Rias said.
"I'm sorry to burst your bubble but Issei belongs here, so tell your golden lord he got to find a new pervert," Azazel said. "I think your Angron made the point clear,"
"She is very unladylike and cruel, Issei is one of us," Grafyia said.
"Don't you mean used to be?" Kitten said with a wave of utter anger for these creatures.
"I would watch what I say little kitten or else," Sirzerch said. He would not anyone talk to his wife like that. The Captain General felt the destructive energy. Though if a fight were to break out with all the people against Kitten it would be an equal fight.
Kitten realized there was no talking about this it appeared that times were chaining and they couldn't see it. Before he could speak the screen started to play again counting move down. The next events were about to begin and the girl didn't want to miss this. They had to see if Issei was alive and if something did happen they would hunt down whoever was at fault.
A bright cloudy gray sky welcomed all below it, with a calm cool breeze covering a grassy land. The grass had a strange blue tint to it, tricking one to think an ocean was in front of them; though the wind blew the grass making it all move like calm sea waves.
"It is always such a beautiful place here,
It did give a calm feeling to anyone there, except one. Angron ran through the tall grassy land, trampling all that was in her way.
"She seems like she is in a hurry," Aisa said. Though trampling a path
After running for some time, she could see a treeline ahead of white aspens with yellow leaves. Angron knew this would make a great cover to hide so she ran into the woods. Slowly walking around constantly darting her eyes to herself making sure nothing stalked her while trying to sneak away through the forest. Angron slowly halted, taking deep breaths.
Rias was having a death stare right at Angron, everything about this beast did to Issei drove her to a warrior's madness. Miki wanted to know the monster that hurt her son. The Captain General felt the rage of the coward. He hoped they would understand Angron wasn't like this on purpose.
Angron started to remember how they all came to this world. Each matriarch was in star systems away from the other. Only for all of them to be here in a flash no energy, no teleport, and no warning. They appeared all together in the blink of an eye.
Aisa couldn't help but say it, that was just her very nature to make sure people were safe.
"Angron looks like she is in constant pain," she said. The Captain General lowered his head.
"More than you can know," He muttered.
"Pain or not she still hurt my son and turned him into a hostage, That's unforgivable," Gorrou said.
Angron sat down on the ground, laying her back against a tree. Taking a lot of deep breaths. Looking up at the sky and seeing the yellow leaves obstructing the sky. Many would think this place was calm and peaceful. Though it frustrated her 'what could she do to be happy?
"I wish for death," Angron whispered.
Many of them fell silent wondering why she would say something like that. Miki found it sad, seeing how she had no life in her eyes. Sirzech could see the plentiful pain in her eyes. It must have been hard for her.
Rias didn't care after everything this beast did to her beloved Issei, She wished Angron's request came true.
The pain in her mind continued to slowly flay her mind every second was agony.
'Aaaaaaaah!"
All of them recognized the scream, Gasper still hid behind the conner still hearing Konrad made him scared. Kiba thought the scream was like nails on a chock board.
A mighty scream rang out making Angron grab her chain axe to her side; A weapon so brutal it could tear the toughest metal like it was tissue paper.
She swung the giant weapon randomly and angrily cleaving trees in half in a blind rage. The screaming had stopped and Angron realized she lashed out for nothing.
Angron thought it was the war cry of Leman Russ. The one she loathed, who always had been many steps ahead of her, even when she bested her in combat. The wolf Queen a genius in combat. If Angron couldn't beat her what chance would she have against all of her sisters at once?
Sirzech narrowed his eyes at the screen. "Wait a minute," He said aloud.
"What is it?" Grayfia asked.
"You'll see how Angron found them," Sirzech answered.
Angron marched to where the scream came from. It was then making her way through the woods when she heard voices ahead. Angron quietly scrambled to hide near any cover. She deeply held in her growls, trying to keep quiet, despite the pain.
Angron stumbled upon a deep ditch laying her body down in it for cover. Angron gripped her fist tight, readying herself for battle. Only to hear two familiar voices passing by.
"That's how you found him," Sirzech said. Miki also picked the piece up as well and she hated what was gonna happen next.
"Issei, don't fall behind you want me to carry you again," Konrad asked.
Angron recognized that voice, it was Konrad but did not know Issei, which means there was somebody else there. Though Angron was well hidden she pecked out of cover to see a human. That was looking in her direction. Angron felt something off with the person. She could feel his eyes looking right at her. But the human couldn't honestly acknowledge Angron and her presence. One could say the boy was on edge you could see his eyes showing fight or flight.
Akeno didn't want to watch the screen knowing what was coming next for her Issei. Miki was on edge as her stress was through the roof.
Angron then watched from afar to see the boy wasn't alone, for he was escorted by two others she knew all too well. In Angron's words how she described them. Konrad a psychotic psychopath that loved to make clothes out of your skin, and Rogal Dorn an uncaring loyalist dog, whose emotions towards others were a brick wall. Angron then realized there was more to this boy. Some questions had been raised and Angron would find the answer no matter the cost for she wanted to be alone so cutting off any clue that could get us off this world, must be taken care of.
Angron eyes locked on to the sacred youth. Grinding her teeth hating what she was going to do next.
If there was one word to describe the room it would be suspenseful and Rias was the worse of all of them trying to act like a king, though, in the end, her act was clearly just a mask. To hide her true emotions of fear and sadness.
After a good couple of minutes of waiting Issei's breathing started to turn ragged and uncontrolled. His body did not respond to his brain still holding his head down after the Konrad situation.
Konkeo had fidgetted him her hands, watching Issei was not the best but seeing how depressed he was stabbed their hearts.
"Why did I touch her I didn't even ask her if I could," Issei mumbled. Issei's hand slowly falls to the side in defeat. Issei fell to the ground on his knees. Rogal left him alone, here for a reason. In a panic, he ran near the door trying to force it open to only find the weight of the gate to be unmovable. Issei could do nothing as his ears began to ring.
"Oh partner please stop, it's not your fault, You were just in a dark place," Ddraig said wanting Issei to be safe. Rias and Akeno lowered their heads, at what they said. Miki wanted just to hug her son and tell him it was going to be all okay.
"She should have been honored to be touched by you Issei," Rias said noticing how Konrad blushed at Issei's touch.
"If you want to blame anyone, Blame God," A voice echoed in his head, putting the boy in emotional pain. He wanted to scream only for him to lose his voice, for Issei was lost of breath. Issei's eyes darted around in a fast manner, trying to find another exit to this camp. He tried to scale the wall in a desperate flee. Issei tried to grip the surface of the wall but failed miserably. The pain kept getting worse, and his ears started to ring more. Issei started to have images flash in his head. Images of people who cared about him only for them to turn their back on him.
"His panic attacks are getting worse," Azazel said. Noticing how irrationally Issei was acting. The pain that was being shown hurt the Rias' group more. Knowing it was their job to look after everyone in the peerage. Issei was always there for them and now he was too far, for them to protect him. They all wondered when this god of darkness would appear. Even Ddraig was on edge after him and the past user spent so much time fighting over him, he was wondering when he would strike. Vail thought the same while the white dragon inside could feel a shadow lume over Issei.
"I'm sorry," Issei whispered.
Laying down on the cold stone floor, he tried to take calm breaths, though failed as he felt like he was choking more than breathing. Issei closed his eyes, shaking coldly, feeling no control of his body, frightening Issei to his core.
'What is wrong with you, Issei we lost because of you I-I-I-I don't understand you anymore, why won't you look at me Idiot, why don't you love me.' A female voice cried in his head.
"I'm sorry," Issei whispered. He sprawled on the ground. The pain in his head, heart, and soul, paralyzed him. Seconds, minutes, and hours went by in his horrible mental state. Nobody was there; he was alone and that's what caused it all.
"Issei," Rias quietly whispered.
After a couple of deep ragged breaths, Issei slowly curled up in a fetal position, trying to calm himself down. Issei wished Rogal or Konrad were here, there was something special about them, not just their height or their beautiful features that could put gods to shame. They had an aura to them that made him feel safe. Rogal's aura glowed with control, safety, and duty. Konrad had the opposite aura, silent, and scary, but it always demanded your attention, so Issei could never be distracted by Konrad looking at him.
Slowly pulled himself off the ground. Issei coughed softly, taking deep breaths. Issei cursed himself for what he did, he thought darkly to himself. Gripping his stump of an arm.
"God I'm pathetic look at me crying like a loser, I couldn't even hold on to the power to kill gods now look at me," Issei viciously mocked himself. "How am I supposed to help others, when I can't even help myself?"
Azazel had seen that the curse was doing more harmful actions. Though all this pain spread into Azazel's heart, Loki had achieved his Ragnarok and destroyed the happy peace Issei held.
Miki didn't want Issei to hold the power to kill gods, all she wanted was for him to be happy. Make a happy family. Now her son's panic attacks were getting worse. She wished that Doctor Wondertainment would wake up and tell them an answer that he would be fine, even if it was encrypted in mystery.
Then before any more words could be said, a quiet thud was heard. The sound of crushed leaves and sticks gained his attention. Issei knew the sounds of steps, feeling more at ease. Rogal and Konrad had come back. Issei had full anticipations for them to return, eagerly waiting at the front of the gates. He was hungry, thirsty, and sleep-deprived. Issei decided now was the time to tell them everything, no more secrets he would tell them everything, and hope that they'll do the same.
Standing his ground, waiting for them to come back. The door creaked open. Issei felt happy to see someone again, waiting for their return. Then before the gate could open it stopped.
"That's not creepy at all," Konkeo said. All of them knew who it was. Akeno and Rias bite their lips, almost making them bleed. Rias' mother held her daughter's hand to try and comfort her worry.
"We know what happened Rias please calm down," She asked. Though Rias was still in much worry.
Issei felt something wrong; Wrong as he felt something was missing. Issei's eyes narrowed to feel nothing.
Soon the gate remained slightly open, only for silence, taking over the surrounding area. Issei noticed it too, no wind, no animals. Issei feels the hairs on the back of his neck standing up. Heard his heart beat fast as if something is behind that door.
"Hello, Rogal," Issei yelled, waiting for a reply, only for nothing to say anything back.
"That's not Rogal, sweetie," Miki said in absolute wallowing in despair. The Captain General.
"Konrad, are you there?" Issei asked again. Still no reply.
"Issei why would you even ask her she's the worst," Rias said. This is more of her showing jealousy, though who would Issei call for them? Knowing he was in a different world.
Even though nothing was there to Issei he could feel something was present, through his instinct. Issei didn't know what to do but he slowly walked away from the door.
"Issei get out of there!" Miki said.
"There is a terrible monster behind that door please don't open it," Xenovia cried.
The room was now comparable to a scary movie waiting for the big jump scare. Though the shield captain knew what would occur. Seeing the site of the destroyed camp, his detective skill ready pieced it together. Irina was gripping her hair in worry.
The two gates exploded with great force, fragmented splinters flew everywhere while chunks of wood were impacted into the stone floor around Issei. While Issei was knocked to the ground. In the wake of the destruction of the gates, Issei was flung off the stone floor with the debris. He landed on the ground hard.
"Issei," They all cried out.
Slowly getting up he found many wooden splinters embedded in his legs that stabbed his flesh but weren't too deep, only stabbing a centimeter in his flesh. The pain was terrible like a thousand needles stabbing his legs.
Issei's eye soon went toward what caused the destruction.
The Captain General thought how lucky Issei was if the door fragments were to dig any deeper into his flesh they could have cut his femoral artery. It seemed fate was smiling down upon Issei for the better.
As Angron stood where the gates once were. Issei looked into Angron's eyes to see something that terrified Issei. Angron's eyes were lifeless only filled with inhuman rage. Though the terror was yet to come Angrons gaze was locked onto Issei.
Issei's legs were wobbling, though the pain was there. Issei spoke harshly.
"He's still standing even as a human," Kiba said. Vail was impressed even without being devil Issei could take some punishment. The Captain General knew there was more pain yet to come because Angron was not one to leave clean kills.
"Hey, what the heck man!" Issei barked in an angry tone of voice mostly due to his injury caused by this newcomer. Angron's gaze changed into a glare that bored straight through Issei. The heated glare got worse as she soon started to take a step in Issei's direction. Issei felt fear take over.
None of them tried to say anything as most of them were glued to their seats. The Captain General shook his head.
"Be careful child, she is to not be taken lightly," The Captain General said.
Issei tried to take a step back, but Issei's wrong-footing made him fall on his butt. Angron stopped and looked around at the camp though her gaze fell back on him. Issei immediately started to pick the pieces of wood from his legs.
Issei, seeing Angron's eyes weren't on him, decided to speak up. Angron touched one of the walls of the camp running her hand across it. Still looking at Issei with her dead eyes.
"Uhm hey I think your sisters are looking for you," Issei said in a nervous voice.
Angron's hand stopped, and she gave a snort of anger, Angron looked at Issei with her hand still on the wooden wall.
"What is she doing," Miki asked.
"Breaking the house," The Captain General said. Reminding him of the stories he heard of Angron making destruction long ago. In horrible tales and reports.
"Aw yes my-'' Angron paused as she looked at Issei, she pushed down the wall she touched with great force destroying the wall. Issei saw how she did it with ease, those walls were thick, and possibly weighed tons. Now the wall lies in ruin with a single touch.
"Sisters!" She snarled. Angron in a fit of rage smashed another wall while stopping her feet so hard that the stone floor was demolished. Angron grabbed the ax to her side and swung wildly in the area smashing, cutting, and breaking everything Rogal made. Issei took cover from the rampage. Hiding behind the shelter Rogal built.
Angron growled and smashed away through the makeshift camp. Even some of the chain ax sparked off the ground, making bright yellow sparks waiting to burn Kindle. The sparks flew all over hitting the carnage made by Angron. Soon those sparks soon turned into flames fast.
Her raw strength that was shown to them all was scary, not because of what she was doing but how easy it was for her. It looked like she wasn't even going all the way out. The Captain General watched as Issei had that look of escape in his eyes.
Issei thought quickly, figuring out that he needed Rogal or Konrad's help to calm this new stranger down or at least help out anyway.
'There's no way they left me here to die, did they?' Issei thought.
When that dreaded thought came to his mind, an image flashed, of Issei lying in a pool of his blood. Issei panicked forgetting where he was quickly sprinted out into the open.
In the heat of the moment, Issei ran towards the smashed gate.
The Captain General knew it was his only choice but knew Issei would fail. Angron was still a Matiarch a being made by the Emperor. You couldn't just run from them. Miki felt like she watching a horror movie only now it was happing in real life.
"Get the heck away from my love!" Akeno yelled.
He feared to turn around hoping not to see Angron behind him. Then Issei out of curiosity turned his head over his shoulder to see Angron smashing the rest of Rogal's work without care.
"Issei don't run, she'll catch you, you'll still just be a human," Sirzech said.
"It's too late," The Captian General said.
The beast was out and here to kill.
Issei moved with quick haste almost to the gate, he looked behind himself one more time to see Angron standing still, but she stopped her rampage and snapped at Issei with those cold eyes. Issei ran fast and was about to reach the broken gate, to suddenly felt his whole right side going numb, and was flung into the air.
Watching Issei being tossed like a rag doll made their blood run cold. Rias was now biting so hard into her lip that it began to bleed.
It took a couple of seconds in the air to realize what had just happened for Issei felt like he got hit by a semi-truck. It was the only thing he could compare it to, but even still he felt like it didn't do it justice. Issei coughed up a mist of blood and spit.
Aisa tried to hold in her scream, seeing the one she loved was hurt and yet could not heal him. Sirzech had enough of this and his naturally would stop now. No one would hurt his family and get away with this.
"You Captain General, when this is over I would like a word with your emperor, when this ordeal is all over!" Sirzech said in a raised tone of voice that shook the room. Grayfia's eyes widened seeing a glimpse of Sirzech's past self. Rias quickly ran over to her brother's side and hugged him. In truth, it was for both of them.
"Brother please we have to stay calm and strong," Riad said. Sirzech was surprised but felt his power settle down. The Captain General took a deep breath.
"Please you must understand Angron is not well,"
"She was never well in the first place," Gorrou said in anger.
The next thing Issei knew was that his back was laying on the ground in a sprawling mess. Issei realized he hit the hard floor wrong. His breathing, replaced with gargling, slowly turned to lay on his right side, Issei felt a liquid in his mouth begin to ooze from his lip, reaching for his mouth to wipe it away to see red on his hand. Issei realized this was his blood. Issei looked at his hand in dazed pain. Then a giant hand grabbed him by the throat, lifting him off the ground by his neck making it hard for him to breathe. Issei was lifted off the ground by Angron. Issei was met by Angron's frustrated smile. Even Issei was scared for his life he hated that he was defenseless and no one was here to save him.
"Who told you to leave boy," Angron growled.
All of them wanted nothing more than to run at the screen hoping it was a portal to that world, so they could but the pain on Angron. Azazel was so close to losing his cool hit was gonna break the roof.
Angron's fist tightened so slightly, putting pressure on Issei's neck. Issei felt his neck tighten making it oh so harder for him to breathe.
"Please I want to help you get out of this world-" Issei was cut off by Angron choking him.
"Get off this world, That is not gonna happen," Angron yelled in Issei's face deafening the boy's ears, Issei's hand shook out of fear for his own life. "So tell me boy are there any others here like you or just you,"
"What a despicable monster," Kiba said. This Angron was a monster lost in thoughts of rage and violence. Vail hated everything about this Angron finding her to just be a mindless brute. Rias and Akneo didn't know what to say. How could this Angron doom the rest of her sisters by killing their only lead?
"What an awful creature," Irina said. Thinking that calling anything above an animal would be insulating.
Issei was thinking quickly about an answer but was too afraid to say anything.
"Answer me now!" Angron barked.
An emotion of panic erupted from his lips and feeling so scared for once, blurted out his name in fear. "My name Issei-," Angron interrupted.
"I didn't ask your name, answer me now boy," Angron growled driving a punch into Issei's face.
"CAN'T YOU SEE HIS HAVING A PANIC ATTACK, YOU BITCH!" Miki shouted her hand bawling into a fist. The Captain General, held his head down, the first contact outside of his universe, seeing the Imperium worst instead of its best. This was an act that brought great shame to The Captain General.
"Angron, please stop!" Kitten said in a hushed whisper, Konkeo glanced at the still golden soldier.
"Looks like the kitten meows," She said.
He spat out blood, some teeth knocked out of his mouth. The punch was painful but he knew she held back her strength. After she punched Issei in the face It started to burn and his right eye started to swell. His skull was burning with pain.
Koneko's cold mask broke as tears ran down her face. She use to punch Issei in the gut or beat him up, when he used to do his perverted peeping, to teach him a lesson. Though not to this extent, this was too brutal. She felt so alone and held her head down.
"Please leave him alone," Koneko said. Her hand clutches the leather seat below her. She felt so alone and she gritted her teeth. She wanted her perfect back, holding her one more time. Koneko soon felt the hand of another hold her, thinking it was her president. She faced the person.
In great shock, it turned out to be her sister. Who held a sad look seeing all the pain Koneko was going through.
"It alright you know him, that boy always manages to find a way out," Kuroka said. In a happy voice, Koneko slowly pulled away her hand and didn't face her sister. Kuroka knew it was a long shot to try and comfort her little sister, but she had to give it a shot. She was going to find another seat only for her sister to say something.
"Yeah, he will," Koneko said. Kuroka smiled there was a tiny bit of hope in her sister's voice, and that's all she needed.
"Well, are there any others here?" Angron asked her voice filled with nothing but anger.
"No it's just me, I'm stranded here too," Issei said, trying to keep himself from freaking out, hating being at the mercy of another. Issei saw how the news made Angron have a devilish grin, it scared Issei for her eyes showed no emotions at all those eyes belonging to a monster.
"Good," Angron lost that grin quickly and began to slowly strangle Issei. The feeling of no oxygen made Issei squirm. His eyes began to turn red as he suffocated. Desperately Issei tried to free himself, but it was all for nothing. Issei felt tears start to leak out of his eyes, mouthing for Angron to stop.
All of them could not say anything as they watched a possible murder in the making. Miki was on the verge of passing out but her husband was keeping her strong. Rias was afraid that if Issei did die and what they say was Issei's corpse hanging from Angron's arms, from the last video.
Though Angron looked like she couldn't care less and continued the assault on Issei.
Issei began to start seeing darkness and watched in horror as Angron kept staring at him with those lifeless eyes filled with only rage. Issei's hand gripped Angron's hand in a weak hold.
Angron hated what she did, but needed to do it, the chance of rescue must remain zero. She felt only rage, any other emotions would hurt too much to feel. So she shut herself off from everything, hoping to be left alone so she could feel nothing, she wanted to die alone.
Issei didn't want to die he still had the promise to keep to Rogal.
The promise to Rogal, to her sisters, and Konrad, with nothing left, he tried to fight the iron grip that was around his throat and held tightly on her hand, Angron looked at the hand trying to free its owner, then looked at Issei eyes one last time to see a determined face staring right at Angrons. Issei refused to accept the fate that played in front of him. Angron shed a tear from her right eye, even though the sadness hurt, Angron was still touched by this.
"Accept this death, it would be better for all," Angron told Issei, in an uncaring tone of voice lacking all humanity.
Ddragi had enough and let out an angry scream, "Do something you fucking shadow!"
Rias couldn't watch this was worse than the time when Fenrir took a bite out of his beloved. Ravel watched her hero and cruch getting beaten to a pulp making her feel empty inside. She held her heart and felt like passing out.
Issei let his hollow eyes sink into Angron. "I must -keep -my -promise," Issei said in a weak voice, then Issei felt something within him, an unknown feeling striding in him. A flow of comfort slithered in his veins. It wasn't holy, demonic, magical, or beyond understanding, it felt natural and it wanted out.
Sirzech eyes widen at the strange site. It was so fast in a blink of an eye you would miss it, yet he did see it. That unexplainable had happened in front of his eyes. Azazel was at a loss for words he had never seen something like that. Vail could feel his blood run cold seeing that blue enter Issei.
Even Ophis was staring at the screen. Ddraig could be heard growling in a dragon voice.
"Now you show up, old man," Ddraig said like he was spitting poison. The Captain General glanced at the orb.
"Who is?" The Captain General asked, not wanting to be left in the dark.
Before Angron could do anything else, she felt something happen to her hand, Angron's eyes looked to where Issei's hand touched hers to see a glow of spectacular color coming from his hand, it invaded her skin and shot straight into Angron's veins as they were illuminated by blue lights, Angron tries to kill one final time by squeezing his neck, she only bruised his throat and almost crushed his spine. Only to be stopped when an overflow of pain flooded her head.
"He Who Made Dark," Ddraig said. Ophis could feel the room's shadows move and giggled with joy. It was disturbing like her whole reality was shifted. The Captain General felt a sudden cold hand on his shoulder. He spun around to see no one there. Captain General, was no fool there was a dark presence here and it was thriving here.
Angron let go of Issei and gripped her head, holding in her screams so that the others wouldn't find her, but that proved to be her undoing, as she gritted her teeth so hard, Angron's gum started to bleed. Issei hit the ground like a bag of bricks, this time landing wrong on his side breaking a rip. Issei witnessed Angron suffering as she was laying on the ground holding her head in extreme pain. Holding her screams, wobbling to her knees Angron stopped shaking like the pain was over and the glowing in her veins stopped. Angron slowly turned her rage-filled eyes to Issei making the boy think twice about what he did.
"What's happening?" The Captain General said. Venelana could see the horrible pain and winced at the action.
"Oh, crap," Issei muttered under his bloody breath.
Angron stood up and charged at the boy, raising her fist for a final blow, reeling her fist back. Issei watched as death approached in seconds. Angron then felt the pain in the back of her head, as some unknown force inside blew open the back side of her head, making a small hole for blood spurted out of her head like a geyser covering the entire area in blood Angron screamed bloody murder.
The whole room was quiet seeing, the blood fountain that splashed out of Angron's neck.
"Well not the worst I've seen," Azazel said, "but-,"
He tried to say something but Gorrou had thrown up on the ground seeing so much blood. Miki slowly patted his back, holding her vomit back for a while. Captain General also patted Gorrou's back.
"Frist time seeing action of any kind," The Captain General said. Gorrou slowly pulled himself back together and wiped his mouth.
"It's nothing like the movies," He said.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAA, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME BOY!" Angron screamed out.
Issei watched as Angron bleeds in pain, only for his focus to latch on the sound of chiming metal, Issei watched as metal wires and spikes covered in blood bounced off the ground, landing right in front of Issei.
The Captain Generals jaw dropped seeing what had come out, of Angrons thick head. He felt like dropping to his knees just to show how surprised he was.
'Impossible," He said. A massive weight had been lifted off the Imperum's shoulders. This moment was so grand and amazing he wanted to actually take his armor and bathe in the pits again.
Angron recovering from the head explosion looked at Issei with hate in her eyes, Angron bolted forward, to try and kill Issei again. Angron's hand gripped Issei by the back of his clothing. Angron was fine after the horrible attack not even unfazed by such an extreme assault. She choked Issei hard this time bruising his neck even more. She was glad that the attack had no true resolve on her.
"No!" Miki shouted. Venelana didn't want her son-in-law to die but yet it never came. The whole crowd was shocked at what happened next. For the attack never came to hit its target.
"What is she doing?' Riad asked out loud. Captain General had just watched a miracle happen right in front of him.
"She is finally able to think." The Captain General said if his helmet were off you could see the tears of joy knowing that Angron was freed.
They could all see Angron going through a whirl of emotions. It was like watching a damn finally break.
Angron stopped her assault to realize she felt something else but anger, without pain. She froze in bewilderment at what she was doing.
Aisa held her hands in hope, seeing the gentle nature of Angron show on the Matriarch's face. Aisa thought she was looking at a different person. That anger she was made of vanished after seeing a new person.
Angron then noticed everything she was doing had no pain, like a shock to her system. The world around her was new as she was not angry. Angron looked to the ground thinking freely to see a spiked device on the ground. Was she imagining things, is this some kind of cruel joke? Angron the world eater did not feel rage anymore.
Her hand reached for the item slowly, truly not accepting the reality that was happening right I'm front of her.
Her hand reached for the butcher's nails but she hesitates. Angron couldn't believe this.
"This can't be happing, please I beg whatever power did this, please let it be true," Angron thought hopefully.
Angron's face was shocked, tears started to build up in her eyes. The world eater was about to cry. It has to be true she could feel hope. Angron could acknowledge herself.
All of them were hoping that Angron would put Issei down. Miki could see there was no more blood lust in Angron's eyes. She wondered what happened to make her so kind. What did Issei's attack accomplish? Though now her son was possibly out of harm's way, yet still in the grip of the beast.
Azazel noticed that strange metal device that splurted out of the back of her head. He couldn't help but compare it to getting a rock out of her shoe.
Sirzech was unsure what to think but was glad that Issei may have saved his own skin. In some way, that boy would always get out alive
Her shaky hand finally touched the object. The moment she made contact, it caught on fire by itself. The flames burned a bright cosmic blue, cremating the metal in this cosmic fire. In a flash, it was brunt away in seconds. The strange fire left nothing behind.
"I'm free," She whispered.
The Captain General couldn't have agreed more. "Yes you are free, I'm glad you are Angron, I only wish that the Emperor relieved you of this pain,"
Azazel raises an eyebrow at the golden warrior.
"What are you talking about?" He asked. Many in the room wanted to know too. Azazel slowly figured out a theory, that the metal device that was implanted into her brain was somehow very important.
"What was that device in her head? Azazel asked. Rias' who held a strong front, narrowed her eyes on him.
"Those were the butcher's nails devices specially made to enslave one's mind, it would make the victim a puppet. unfortunately due to her complex Matriarch brain. it was a botched lobotomizing of her. Now the butcher's nails only cost her extreme pain and the only thing she could truly feel was intense anger. terrible people enslaved her and right now your son just freed her of that pain." The captain-general enlightened. Miki gave a quiet gasp, she was at a loss of words. Even if her son was still getting beaten down, he could always find a way to help someone.
"In my all honest opinion after that, I doubt anyone would truly want to hurt him without a nefarious or evil purpose, I also doubt that Angron would now allow that!" The captain-general said. "She was a gladiator in one life. Does she still holds those old morals, now she will be able to act on them?"
Angron looked to Issei who was still in her grip as tears began to leak from his eyes. For the first of a long time, Angron felt empathy for the person in her grip. Her mind flayed with confusion. Angron then took in her surroundings to see what she had done. The ruin she caused, now caught up to her. Looking back at Issei with a sad look on her face.
"I'm sorry-" Angron tried to apologize only to hear the many footsteps, looking towards the broken gate. Konrad Curze arrived first leaping towards the gate with her blades ejected out in the open from her forearms. They were electrified, sparking lighting from her crawls.
"Wait, now we're back at this scene, so now that we know where all the blood came from," Vail said.
"Thankfully, we know that he's possibly safe," Sirzech said with a bitter, sweet tone of voice.
"Wait, is she freed of that enslavement, why is she being so angry with her sisters?" Aisa asked.
"I said she was free, not loyal, in fact out of all of them, she might be the most Unloyal of them all," The captain-general said.
"Really why's that?" Miki asked finding her loyalty behavior might have a good justification. The Captain General was a bit uncomfortable about the situation and did not answer back.
Angron held Issei close to her, as a new feeling of protection kicked in. Konrad froze as she stared at Issei, Angron noticed how Konrad held her ground, She realized that Issei must be a part of something bigger. She couldn't allow this boy to fall into any other hands.
The girls could tell how Angron held Issui now in a protective manner, finding her decision to be so sudden and quick. so, in truth, her eyes gave it away. They could see she had made a warrior's bond with Issei, clearly, in their eyes a debt had to be paid
Hands that would twist and abuse the boy to no end. Angron at a fast pace held the boy close, feeling Issei going limp between her fingers. Konrad growled towards Angron, eyes that stabbed right at her.
"Let. him. Go. NOW!" Konrad spat venomously.
Soon the others appear Russ and Rogal, frozen looking at Issei who was in Angron's hand, the retaliation of how important Issei was, dawned on Angron and it gave her an idea to escape. Angron held a gaze towards them and she had an idea without any pain.
Angron realized she could now outwit them, she could outthink them.
"Sisters, the advantage is mine," Angron thought in her head.
"So that's why you held him hostage, clever girl," Azazel said, with that the screen went transient black and the lights slowly came back on. The room was filled with a sense of hope knowing that Issei was being kept alive. All of them were now waiting for the next episode hoping Issei would be okay.
"I'm sorry to say this Miki and to you all," The Captain General said, Miki turned her head at him wondering what he was going on about. Gorrou didn't like the tone he spoke towards them.
"What are going on about?" Issei's father asked.
"After seeing what your son did today, I won't allow him to come back to his world," The Captain General said. All of them gave an audible gasp.
The sounds of an old man pulling himself from the ground grabbed their attention. Doctor Wondertainment slowly woke from his unconscious state. He slowly got up as no one moved him from his spot.
Doctor Wondertainment got up to his feet and rubbed the sore spot on his face. "Oh, what did I miss?" He slurred out.
"Oh come on!"
