Chapter 30: Battle of Earth Act 2

BACK INTO THE BATTLE*

Amidst the chaos of the battlefield, the clash of super forms against the hordes of Darksides and the relentless onslaught of Heartless, the heroes of various worlds stood united against the forces of darkness. Their determination to protect the universe burned brightly in their eyes as they fought with unwavering resolve. The battle was fierce, but the heroes were holding their ground, pushing back against the tide of enemies that sought to bring about their demise.

In one corner of the battlefield, Axel, Roxas, Xion, and Isa worked in seamless harmony as they faced off against waves of Outriders. Axel's Keyblade blazed with fire as he flung them at enemies, while Roxas and Xion weaved intricate patterns of light and shadow with their Keyblades. Isa's graceful and deadly movements were a stark contrast to his cool demeanor as he dispatched foes with precision. Together, they formed a whirlwind of combat, cutting down enemies with practiced expertise.

Nearby, the ever-determined Team Chaotix—Vector, Espio, Charmy, and the powerful Omega—were in the thick of the battle. They faced down hordes of Heartless with a mix of brawn, agility, and keen observation. Omega's brute strength mowed down foes, while Espio's ninja skills allowed him to swiftly strike from the shadows. Charmy's buzzing energy provided both distraction and offense, and Vector's leadership kept the team focused on their task. With each foe they defeated, they moved closer to achieving victory.

High above the battlefield, Tails piloted the Tornado with precision, his eyes scanning the skies for any threats. War Machine, Captain Marvel, and Falcon flanked him, each of them unleashing a barrage of firepower against flying and levitating Heartless. The sky was ablaze with energy blasts and sonic booms as they worked to clear the aerial threats. Their coordinated efforts formed a protective barrier, ensuring that the heroes on the ground had room to maneuver and engage the enemy.

Down below, Iron Man and Rescue soared through the fray, their repulsors firing in synchronized bursts to knock down enemies. Wanda Maximoff wove hexes with fluid motions, causing Heartless and Nobodies to falter and fade into nothingness. Bucky Barnes wielded his vibranium arm and a powerful arsenal of weaponry, his precise shots picking off Heartless one by one. Beside him, the sentient tree Groot used his limbs to smash and crush any enemy that dared approach.

As the battle raged on, heroes from across the universe fought with all their might, their skills and strengths coming together in a symphony of chaos and power. Amid the clashes of weapons, bursts of magic, and explosions of energy, they were a united front against the darkness that threatened to consume everything.

Back in the heart of the battle, Super Sonic, Super Shadow, Super Silver and Super Saiyan Trunks tore through the towering Darksides, their super forms radiating with blinding light. Each strike they landed sent shockwaves rippling through the battlefield, and the ground trembled beneath their feet. Their combined might was a force to be reckoned with, and as they fought, they carved a path of destruction through the enemy ranks.

Meanwhile, on the other side of this tumultuous, chaotic and pinnacle battle between the light and darkness, where Wakandan warriors clashed alongside Asgardians, Ravagers, and skilled sorcerers, Classic Sonic and Kairi were a dynamic duo, a whirlwind of precision and power. Their movements were a symphony of combat, a dance of destruction as they weaved through the fray with an undeniable synergy.

Kairi's Keyblade became an extension of her will, slashing through Heartless, Nobodies, and Outriders with swift and precise combos. Her strikes were like poetry in motion, each movement deliberate and deadly. The radiant energy that emanated from her Keyblade was a testament to her determination and her unwavering resolve to protect her world and beyond.

Classic Sonic, on the other hand, was a blur of speed and agility. He darted around the battlefield like a lightning bolt, his iconic spin dash plowing through enemies with remarkable force. His uncanny ability to anticipate his foes' moves allowed him to strike with pinpoint accuracy, his attacks a whirlwind of blue and white.

As Kairi swung her Keyblade in elegant arcs, Classic Sonic zipped around her, his presence a constant blur of motion. Their teamwork was uncanny, each movement and attack perfectly synchronized as if they had been fighting together for years. The enemies that dared to challenge them found themselves overwhelmed by the sheer force of their combined assault.

Amidst the chaos, Kairi managed to steal a glance at her diminutive companion, her voice barely audible over the cacophony of battle.

"You're full of surprises, Sonic!"

Classic Sonic responded with his signature thumbs up, his mischievous grin evident even as he continued to tear through the Heartless and their allies. It was a simple gesture, but it conveyed his confidence and determination, a reminder that he was always ready to rise to the challenge, no matter how dire the situation.

The battlefield around them was a storm of energy, the clash of weapons, and the roar of magic reverberating in the air. Despite the overwhelming odds, Kairi and Classic Sonic pressed forward, their spirits undaunted by the chaos that surrounded them. They were united by a common goal, a shared purpose that fueled their every move.

As Kairi's Keyblade slashed through the darkness and Classic Sonic's spin dash sent shockwaves rippling through the enemy ranks, their efforts were a beacon of hope amidst the darkness. They were a testament to the power of unity, the strength that came from standing together against overwhelming odds.

After dispatching the swarm of enemies close by, Kairi and Classic Sonic took a breather, ready to fight again when the opportunity came knocking. All of a sudden, Classic Sonic and Kairi's attention was drawn to a fierce clash in the distance. There, they witnessed the determined figures of Riku and Mickey, engaged in a pitched battle against two formidable adversaries of Thanos – Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive. The clash of weapons and magic resonated through the air, a symphony of combat that echoed their unyielding determination to stand against the forces of darkness.

Riku's Soul Eater Sword clashed against Proxima Midnight's deadly spear, the clash of metal against metal sending sparks flying with every strike. Mickey's Kingdom Key Darkside clashed with Corvus Glaive's halberd, the clash of darkness and light creating an intense energy that crackled in the air around them. Their determination was palpable, their resolve unwavering as they battled against overwhelming odds.

Kairi's heart swelled with a mixture of pride and worry as she watched her friends fighting bravely. She turned to Classic Sonic, a determined look in her eyes. "We need to help them," she said, her voice filled with urgency. Classic Sonic nodded in agreement, his determination evident as he focused on the battle ahead.

But just as they were about to rush to their friends' aid, a sudden and unexpected sound pierced through the chaos of battle. It was a car horn, and it played the lively tune of "La Cucaracha." Classic Sonic and Kairi exchanged bewildered glances, unsure of what was happening.

"What was that?" Kairi asked, looking around for the amusing horn noise that just played.

Classic Sonic shrugged, he found the tune catchy but was also bewildered by the sound also.

Then, Cap's voice came through Kairi's earpiece, his words laced with a mix of urgency and exasperation.

"Does anyone see an ugly brown van out there?" Cap's voice rang out, a mix of frustration and determination evident in his tone. From above, Valkyrie's voice joined the conversation, her words carrying a hint of amusement.

"Yes, but you're not going to like where it's parked," Valkyrie's response floated down from the skies, her perspective giving her a clear view of the situation below.

Classic Sonic's sharp instincts and keen eyes pinpointed the unusual source of the car horn's sound. Excitement evident in his expression, he eagerly pointed towards the unexpected sight – a seemingly out-of-place brown van that had managed to draw the attention of both heroes and enemies alike.

Beside him, Kairi was still searching for the source of the car horn's sound when Classic Sonic playfully poked her, directing her attention towards the van. It was a testament to the hedgehog's unique way of communication – a nudge and a point, which conveyed his message without words. Kairi's eyes followed Classic Sonic's gesture, and her eyes widened as she saw the brown van nearby.

Communicating swiftly with Cap through her earpiece, Kairi voiced her observation and question.

"Is that Scott's van?" she inquired, her voice a mix of surprise and curiosity.

Before long, the answer came, carried by Scott Lang's voice echoing through the communicator.

"It sure is, and that's not our only time machine to get the stones out of here," Scott's response carried a note of confidence and determination, setting the wheels of a new plan into motion.

With Cap taking the lead, Kairi listened intently as he formulated a plan to make use of the situation.

"Scott, how long can you get that van up and running?" Cap asked, with haste in his voice.

"Uhh, about 10 minutes." Scott replied, trying to make sense of the situation presented to him.

The urgency of the situation was palpable, and Cap wasted no time in issuing orders.

"Get it started. We'll get the stones to you."

However, before their plan could begin, trouble was on the horizon. Classic Sonic and Kairi's attention were drawn to the sight of the Heartless lingering by van, like moths to a flame, this was both perplexing and concerning. Kairi and Classic Sonic exchanged glances, their expressions mirroring the mix of curiosity and apprehension they felt. The van seemed to emit an energy that resonated with the darkness, and the fact that the Heartless were fixated on it raised questions about its significance.

Kairi's voice cut through the chaos as she communicated the situation to the rest of the group.

"There are Heartless approaching the van," she relayed.

Hope's surprised response was indicative of the unexpected turn of events. However, the true reason behind the Heartless's interest became clear when Tony's voice joined the conversation.

"They must be interested in the Quantum Tunnel inside and the energy it possesses," Tony's explanation carried a tone of realization.

The Quantum Tunnel was a device capable of time travel and getting the stones back from where they came from. The energy it emitted was undoubtedly of great importance. The implications were staggering – the Heartless's attraction to the van could potentially disrupt the heroes' plan, and protecting it became an urgent priority.

Cap's voice interjected, offering a solution. "We need someone to aid Scott and Hope in defending the van."

The situation was complex and required immediate action. Kairi felt the weight of the dilemma pressing upon her – should she go to the aid of Scott and Hope or rush to support Riku and Mickey against the Children of Thanos?

Her mind raced, torn between the two choices. Classic Sonic's presence beside her only accentuated the urgency of the decision. Kairi's heart beat with the pulse of the battle around her, but also with a deep sense of responsibility. She knew that every action, every choice, would ripple through the battle's outcome.

In a moment of clarity, Kairi made her decision. She looked at Classic Sonic, her gaze firm and determined.

"Sonic, can you aid Scott and Hope?" Her voice was resolute, carrying the weight of her commitment to the fight. Classic Sonic nodded in understanding, his gesture a silent affirmation of his readiness to help.

With a final glance exchanged between them, Kairi turned and dashed towards Riku and Mickey. The bond she shared with them was a driving force, and she couldn't stand by while they faced danger. Classic Sonic, in turn, sped towards the van, his focus now on aiding Scott and Hope in defending the Quantum Tunnel.

CLASSIC SONIC*

Classic Sonic charged towards the van, his determination fueling his every move. He unleashed his signature spin dash, whirling through the air and crashing into the Heartless that had been drawn to the Quantum Tunnel's energy. His homing attack was a blur of motion, striking down Shadows, NeoShadows, and Soldier Heartless with precise strikes. Each blow was accompanied by the familiar sounds of impact – a series of rapid thuds and clashes that reverberated through the air.

As the last of the Heartless around the van was dispatched, Classic Sonic slowed to a halt, catching his breath. Just then, Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne emerged from their smaller forms, resuming their normal sizes. They looked at Classic Sonic with a mix of surprise and curiosity, clearly unsure of who he was.

Scott's voice broke the silence, a hint of confusion evident in his tone. "Sonic, you look different. Did you get a new haircut?" His comment was met with an amused response – Classic Sonic playfully ruffled his quills, a gesture that conveyed his distinct personality even without words.

Hope, on the other hand, remained more focused on the situation at hand. Her voice carried a note of uncertainty as she asked,

"Who is he?" She questioned, looking to Scott for answers.

Hope did not know who or what a Sonic was, due to being blipped out of existence for 18 months. She was unfamiliar with the Mobian race and this new ally to her partner, Ant-Man.

Scott scratched his head, trying to make sense of the situation. "I...I think he's Sonic?" He glanced at Classic Sonic again, his expression a mixture of puzzlement and realization. "But not the Sonic I know."

Classic Sonic's patience was wearing thin, and he displayed his frustration in a characteristic manner. With an agile leap, he pointed emphatically at the van, his message clear even without words – they needed to get the van started to carry out their plan.

Understanding the urgency, Scott snapped into action. "Right, right. We need to get this thing going." He and Hope moved towards entering the van, their experience with the Quantum Tunnel making the task second nature to them.

Scott's attempts to start the van were met with frustration as the engine remained stubbornly silent. He tried again, twisting the key in the ignition, but the result was the same – the van's engine remained dead. Classic Sonic stood a short distance away, his arms folded and one foot tapping impatiently on the ground. He watched as Scott continued to wrestle with the van's uncooperative engine, a bemused expression on his face.

A mixture of annoyance and resignation colored Scott's voice as he muttered, "Come on, start already." But the van remained unresponsive, leaving him visibly frustrated.

Classic Sonic's eyes rolled, the situation becoming more absurd with each passing moment. He pressed his gloved hand to his face in exasperation, his gesture clear even without words – the van's engine was dead, and he wasn't exactly impressed.

Hope's voice broke through the tension as she inquired, "What can we do now?"

Scott sighed, his annoyance evident as he admitted, "Looks like I'll have to hotwire it." He moved to fiddle with the wiring, hoping that this unconventional approach would get the van running.

Outside the van, Classic Sonic's attention was divided between the van's interior and the shadows beyond. The Heartless had returned, their presence lingering ominously. Classic Sonic's blue eyes narrowed as he assessed the situation – he was outnumbered, but that wouldn't stop him from protecting the van and its crucial Quantum Tunnel.

As Scott worked on the van's wiring, the Heartless advanced once more, their dark forms moving with eerie determination. Classic Sonic's stance shifted as he prepared for action, his focus unwavering. But just as the Heartless closed in, the Wasp emerged from the van's window, having shrunk down to a more manageable size. Her Wasp suit's wings zipped her across to Sonic's side, and she resized back to her normal size, thanks to the power of Pym Particles.

The Wasp's presence at Classic Sonic's side was a welcome one. She was ready for battle, her determination clear in her posture and the intensity of her gaze. Classic Sonic spared her a quick glance, a nod of understanding passing between them. Together, they would fend off the Heartless and protect the van and its precious cargo.

Classic Sonic sprang into motion, his speed a blur as he darted towards the approaching Heartless. His spin dash became a whirling tornado of motion, striking the Heartless with precision and force. Shadows, NeoShadows, and Soldier Heartless were sent flying, their forms dissipating into darkness.

Beside him, the Wasp's agility was on full display as she engaged the Heartless with a combination of acrobatics and precision attacks. Her strikes were swift and calculated, each one hitting its mark and diminishing the Heartless numbers.

The battle waged on, the clash of darkness against determined resistance echoing in the air. Inside the van, Scott's efforts were met with success as the engine sputtered to life, the van's systems finally responding to his touch. Hope's voice came over the communicator, announcing the van was ready to go.

As the van's Quantum Tunnel powered up once more, Classic Sonic and the Wasp continued their fight. Their teamwork was a testament to the unity that had formed among the heroes – individuals from different worlds and backgrounds, all united in their shared goal to defend the universe from the forces of darkness.

The Heartless numbers dwindled as Classic Sonic and the Wasp fought with unwavering determination. With each strike, they pushed the Heartless back, their efforts not only protecting the van but also ensuring that hope remained alive in the face of adversity.

As the final Heartless dissipated, Classic Sonic turned his attention to the van. The Wasp gave him a nod of acknowledgment before shrinking down once more and reentering the van through the window. Classic Sonic stood outside the van, his chest rising and falling as he caught his breath. The battle was far from over, but with the van now operational, they had taken a significant step forward in their mission to thwart the forces of darkness.

KAIRI*

Rushing through the destroyed compound of Avengers HQ, Kairi's heart raced as she dashed to aid Riku and Mickey. The Children of Thanos, Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive, proved to be formidable adversaries, and Kairi was determined to stand by her friends' side to face them head on with the King and the Keyblade Master.

But just as Kairi was about to engage in combat, an unexpected and powerful obstacle appeared in her path – Cull Obsidian. His massive form loomed over her, a threat that seemed insurmountable. Before she could react, he lunged forward, and Kairi stumbled back in shock, her heart pounding in her chest.

However, the tide turned in an instant. The sound of gunfire cut through the air, diverting Cull Obsidian's attention. Bullets whizzed past him, creating a diversion that caught his attention. But this was no mere distraction – it was a tactical move. With precise timing, a strong and tall crocodile charged forward, slamming into Cull Obsidian with a force that sent him hurtling through the air.

Kairi's eyes widened in surprise and gratitude as the crocodile's actions gave her a moment to collect herself. She looked around, spotting two more figures coming to her aid. A bee and a purple chameleon joined her side, their presence both unexpected and heartening.

Kairi's gratitude turned into determination as she realized that these were her allies in this dire battle. As the crocodile, bee, and chameleon approached her, Kairi felt a renewed surge of hope.

Vector, the crocodile, extended his hand to Kairi with a friendly smile. "Hey there, we heard you could use some backup. I'm Vector, and these are my buddies, Espio and Charmy."

Kairi shook Vector's hand, a sense of camaraderie forming quickly. "I'm Kairi. Thank you so much for coming to help. We really need it."

Charmy the bee fluttered excitedly around Kairi, his cheerful voice filling the air. "Wow, you're a Keyblade wielder, right? That's so cool! We're gonna kick some bad guy butt together!"

Espio the chameleon maintained a calm and composed demeanor as he nodded in acknowledgment. "Indeed, Kairi. We've faced tough challenges before, but with all of us working together, I'm confident we can prevail."

Just then, Omega, the towering robot, approached, his mechanical footsteps echoing across the battlefield. His deep, robotic voice rumbled as he introduced himself, "I am Omega. We are here to assist in the fight against Thanos's army and Mephiles the Dark's manipulation."

Kairi's heart swelled with appreciation for their timely arrival. She extended a hand towards them, gratitude shining in her eyes. "Thank you all for coming to help. We need all the allies we can get in this battle."

With introductions made and unity established, Kairi, Team Chaotix, and Omega turned their attention back to the ongoing battle. Riku, Mickey, and the others were still engaged in combat against the formidable foes, and Kairi was determined to join them. With her new allies by her side, she charged back into the fray, Keyblade in hand and resolve in her heart

Attention now shifted to the fierce battle between Riku and Mickey against Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive, the clash echoed through the air. The Guardians of Light fought with unwavering determination, their weapons cutting through the darkness and pushing back their formidable adversaries.

Soul Eater and Kingdom Key: Darkside clashed against energy blades and brute strength, the intensity of the battle leaving no room for hesitation. Riku and Mickey's teamwork was evident, their movements synchronized as they maneuvered to both defend and attack.

As they managed to create a brief moment of distance from their opponents, they heard a familiar voice in the distance. "Riku, Mickey!" Kairi's voice called out, with a note of relief and determination in her tone. The two Guardians of Light turned their gaze to see Kairi running toward them, flanked by Team Chaotix and Omega.

Riku's exhaustion was momentarily forgotten as a smile tugged at his lips. "Kairi, you made it," he said, relief and pride evident in his voice.

Mickey nodded in agreement, his blue eyes bright with determination. "Glad to see you're safe, Kairi."

Kairi reached their side, her Keyblade gleaming in her grip. "I couldn't let you guys have all the fun," she quipped, a determined fire in her eyes. She turned her attention to Vector, Espio, Charmy, and Omega, who stood behind her. "These are my allies – Team Chaotix and Omega. They've come to help us."

Vector stepped forward, his confident grin unwavering. "You betcha. We've got some serious muscle here," he gestured to Omega and himself. "We're ready to lend a hand."

Omega's deep voice reverberated as he spoke, "Affirmative. Our combined strength will be advantageous in this battle."

Charmy's enthusiastic voice buzzed with energy as he chimed in, "Yeah, and don't forget about Espio's stealth and my speedy attacks! We're ready for action!"

Espio, the chameleon, nodded in agreement, his calm demeanor contrasting with Charmy's excitement. "Indeed, we're a versatile team."

Mickey chuckled, his admiration evident. "These fellas are swell. The power of the light sure burns bright on Mobius."

Riku's gaze shifted between his allies, his heart swelling with gratitude and hope. "We're stronger together. Let's show them what we're made of."

With newfound determination, Riku, Mickey, Kairi, Team Chaotix, and Omega joined forces, their Keyblades and unique abilities weaving together in a symphony of unity. As they faced down their formidable adversaries once again, the battlefield lit up with the power of light and friendship, a beacon that shone even in the darkest of times.

Proxima Midnight, realizing the odds were now against her and Glave, raised her weapon high in the air. With a swift motion, she summoned the Heartless from the shadows, the dark creatures materializing to even the numbers against the combined might of the Guardians of Light and their newfound allies. Vector observed the situation, his determination unwavering despite the increasing odds.

"Looks like they're trying to level the playing field. But we won't let that stop us."

Mickey's expression turned serious as he addressed the group. "Don't take these Heartless lightly. They may seem like shadows, but they can be just as dangerous as any adversary."

Omega's robotic voice echoed with its usual precision.

"ALERT: HEARTLESS NUMBERS RISING. NEW OBJECTIVE: DESTROY THE HEARTLESS."

Riku raised an eyebrow as he glanced at Omega.

"Is he always like this?"

Charmy buzzed with excitement, chiming in, "Yep, he's a robot after all. He's just doing his thing."

The Heartless emerged from the shadows, their dark forms swirling with malevolent energy. The battlefield became even more chaotic as the Guardians of Light and their allies engaged in combat with the Heartless horde. Kairi's Keyblade glowed with the light of her resolve, cutting through the darkness with every swing. Vector's strength and determination drove back the Heartless, his powerful strikes creating shockwaves that cleared their path.

Espio's agility allowed him to dart between Heartless, striking with precision before they could react. Charmy's speedy attacks and evasion kept the Heartless at bay, preventing them from overwhelming the group. And amidst it all, Omega's calculated firepower targeted the Heartless with precision, leaving nothing but dissipating shadows in their wake.

As the battle raged on, Riku and Mickey's teamwork remained unbreakable. They fended off both Proxima Midnight and the Heartless, each striking a testament to their years of experience. Kairi's presence and the strength of Team Chaotix and Omega provided a much-needed boost, a reminder that unity was their greatest weapon.

Through determination and unyielding courage, the combined efforts of these Guardians of Light and their allies created a symphony of light against the encroaching darkness. The battlefield was alive with the clash of blades, the sounds of spells, and the resolute shouts of those who refused to let their worlds fall into shadow.

BEERUS & WHIS*

Further away from the chaos of the battle occurring on the destroyed and smoldering Avengers Compound, the formidable Lord Beerus and his attendant Whis materialized with an air of authority. As the newly appointed caretaker God of Destruction for this universe, Beerus' gaze swept over the tumultuous surroundings with a hint of amusement.

"Rather chaotic, wouldn't you say, Whis?" Beerus mused, his cat-like eyes observing the ongoing battle in the darkened sky.

Whis nodded in agreement, his serene expression contrasting with the chaos around them. "Indeed, my lord. However, the information we received from Uatu the Watcher should prove useful in this situation."

Beerus looked upwards, his interest piqued as he watched Super Sonic, Super Shadow, Super Silver, and an unexpectedly familiar figure in Super Saiyan Trunks, battling against the hoard of colossal Darkside Heartless. The power on display was impressive, and Beerus found himself especially intrigued by Trunks' capabilities. His initial amusement was overshadowed by his annoyance that Trunks had been multiverse hopping without his consent.

"Seems Trunks has been quite the traveler," Beerus remarked with a raised eyebrow, his voice tinged with irritation. "Multiverse hopping without even asking for my permission. That boy..."

Whis chuckled softly, his tone light. "Perhaps, my lord, it is all part of destiny's design."

Beerus huffed, clearly unconvinced. "Destiny or not, the Time Variance Authority should have left a note or something. They know I appreciate being informed."

As Beerus observed the battle unfolding above, he couldn't help but be impressed by the power exhibited by the super forms of these individuals. The sight of Super Sonic, Super Shadow, and Super Silver reminded him of the potential within the Mobian heroes. The irony of their golden transformation, similar to the Super Saiyans of their universe, wasn't lost on him either. It sparked an intriguing hypothesis in his mind, a connection that warranted further exploration.

"Golden transformations in two separate species, from two different universes" Beerus mused aloud, his curiosity piqued. "Perhaps there's more to it than meets the eye. It might be worth delving into this link further."

As the battle raged on and the clash of light against darkness continued to illuminate the sky, Beerus' mind buzzed with questions and possibilities. He might be the God of Destruction, but the mysteries of the universe always held his attention – especially when they involved powerful beings and connections that defied conventional wisdom.

As Beerus continued to observe the ongoing battle, his curiosity was piqued by the dark creatures that the heroes were facing – the Heartless, as Whis had identified them. Beerus' analytical gaze focused on the battlefield, assessing the power levels of these formidable adversaries.

"These Heartless creatures... they possess considerable power," Beerus mused, his tone contemplative. "But these super beings seem more than capable of handling them."

Whis nodded in agreement, his eyes reflecting his own curiosity. "Indeed, my lord. From my research, these Heartless are known as Darkside. They can be formidable opponents, but I have faith in the strength of our allies."

As Beerus scanned the battlefield, his attention was drawn to another group engaged in battle against a different type of foe – the Nobodies. Their distinct appearances and behavior caught his attention, and he turned to Whis with a knowing glance.

"And if I'm not mistaken," Beerus remarked, a thoughtful expression on his face, "those are Nobodies?"

Whis smiled in acknowledgment. "You are correct again, my lord. These are indeed Nobodies, another type of enemy that the heroes are contending with."

Beerus' gaze remained fixed on the battle, his interest deepening. "Fascinating. It seems this conflict involves a variety of adversaries, each with their own unique traits and challenges."

Continuing to observe the battle, his sharp senses were drawn to a particular group that stood out among the combatants. He pointed them out to Whis, a note of intrigue in his voice.

"I see Keyblade wielders among them. Could it be that the boy 'Sora' is close by?"

Whis confirmed that they were indeed Keyblade wielders but elaborated, "According to what we've gathered from Uatu and our observations, these individuals are friends of Sora."

The group in question consisted of Terra, Aqua, Ventus, and Vanitas – each engaged in fierce combat against the relentless Nobodies. As Beerus focused his attention on them, he noted the distinct qualities of each warrior.

"The small one, Ventus, seems to radiate an overwhelming light," Beerus remarked, his tone contemplative. "And the other two, Terra and Aqua, possess considerable power, but there's a trace of darkness in their auras."

Whis nodded in agreement. "It appears so, my lord. And the one in the mask – the masked warrior's aura is shrouded in pure darkness."

Beerus acknowledged Whis' observation with a thoughtful hum. "I'll need to keep a close eye on that masked one. Pure darkness is not to be taken lightly."

Whis took the opportunity to provide more context, explaining the connection between Ventus and Vanitas. "Ventus and Vanitas are intertwined, my lord. Their destinies are linked in a unique way."

Beerus' interest was piqued even further by this revelation. "Ah, yes, reminiscent of our friend Zamasu's duality. The forces of light and darkness entwined in a single existence."

As the battle continued to unfold, Beerus' gaze remained fixed on the group of Keyblade wielders. The complexities of their relationships and the intertwining of light and darkness fascinated him.

Amidst the chaos of battle, Vanitas' Void Keyblade sliced through the air, his senses tingling with an otherworldly awareness. The unmistakable presence of power and destruction reverberated around him, drawing his attention to a point in the distance. Ventus, ever attuned to Vanitas' moods, questioned, "What's bothering you?"

In response, Vanitas turned sharply, his Void Keyblade aimed toward the unexpected figures that had emerged from the sidelines – Beerus and Whis. His piercing gaze bore into them, his usual cold demeanor flavored with skepticism and curiosity. "That," he stated, his words laden with both accusation and intrigue.

Beerus, true to his nature, wore an amused smirk, seemingly unfazed by Vanitas' intensity. "Seems the brooding one has a knack for sensing power levels, or perhaps it's more about their evolution," he mused, his voice dripping with casual arrogance.

Whis, ever the analytical observer, chimed in with a hint of amusement, "And it appears he can tap into the emotional currents as well."

This dialogue prompted Vanitas to cut through the air with a direct question, his skepticism evident in his tone. "What's their angle?"

Beerus, undeterred by Vanitas' guarded nature, offered a nonchalant explanation. "Oh, we're just passing through, keeping an eye on things."

Terra, Aqua, and Ventus exchanged bewildered glances, their focus shifting between the newcomers and the ongoing clash of light and darkness. Amongst the chaos, where the trio had forged their alliance against the Nobodies, these newcomers – a catlike deity and his enigmatic attendant – stood out as anomalies.

Curiosity lingered like a palpable energy in the air, fueling whispered conversations among the trio. "Have you seen these two before?" they wondered in hushed voices, finding no familiarity in the newcomers' presence.

In response to the growing intrigue, Beerus decided to break the ice with a self-assured introduction. "I am Beerus, the God of Destruction."

Terra, Aqua, and Ventus exchanged glances laced with surprise, their expressions a canvas of varied emotions. Ventus couldn't help but voice the collective shock, "God of Destruction?"

Whis nodded sagely, his demeanor inviting further understanding. "Indeed, it's a title that reflects his pivotal role in maintaining the equilibrium of the universe."

As the weight of this revelation hung in the air, the trio couldn't help but ask the question that echoed in their minds, voiced by Ventus, "What kind of destruction are we talking about here?"

Beerus' grin widened, mischief dancing in his eyes. "Oh, you know, various forms. It's all about keeping things balanced."

Whis provided a more comprehensive layer of explanation, his tone forward and approachable. "Beerus ensures cosmic harmony by overseeing the balance between creation and destruction."

Vanitas, attuned to the shadows and darkness, regarded Beerus and Whis with a mixture of skepticism and intrigue. The power they emanated was undeniable, but there were layers of complexity beneath the surface. Amid the backdrop of the ongoing struggle against the Nobodies, the battlefield itself seemed to mirror the intricate nature of existence – the interplay of light and darkness, power and balance, and the unveiling of enigmatic players in a grand cosmic symphony.

As the presence of Beerus and Whis hung in the air, Aqua took a step forward, her voice laced with hope. "Are you here to help us?"

Beerus, with his typical arrogance, chuckled at her question. "I'm a destroyer, my dear. Not exactly the role of a savior."

Whis chimed in, his tone more informative. "Beerus has taken on the mantle of the God of Destruction for this universe, though in a caretaker capacity."

Terra couldn't help but interject, a hint of urgency in his voice. "So, can't you destroy Thanos and Mephiles?"

Beerus repeated his stance, his tone firm. "I'm a destroyer, not a savior. And besides," he added with a smirk, "where's the fun in just wiping them out?"

Whis nodded in agreement, adding his own perspective. "Indeed, Beerus is right. His role is to maintain balance, not to intervene in every conflict."

Vanitas, who had been observing the exchange with a mixture of disdain and curiosity, finally spoke up with his usual sarcasm. "Why don't you stay out of our way then, pussycat?"

Beerus found himself amused by Vanitas' fiery disposition, a spark of respect igniting within him. "I like that fiery spirit," he remarked, a glint of playfulness in his eyes. But then his tone turned more serious as he addressed Vanitas directly. "However, any more disrespect, and you might find yourself taking a one-way trip to the afterlife."

Amidst the charged atmosphere, Ventus stepped forward with a determined expression. "Lord Beerus and Whis are right. We can handle this on our own."

Beerus observed Ventus with an approving smirk. "I like this one too. Good attitude, boy."

Vanitas couldn't resist adding his signature sarcasm. "Got to be kidding me, Ven is a wuss."

Whis interjected with a note of respect for Ventus' resolve. "Your confidence is admirable, Ventus."

Beerus nodded in agreement, his attention shifting to an approaching swarm of Heartless. "Ventus has the right idea. Keep your guard up and take those Heartless down."

With his proclamation, Beerus pointed to the impending horde of Heartless, his gaze intense. The heroes, despite the complexities of their interactions, found a common purpose in the face of the looming threat. The clash of darkness against their combined light painted a vivid picture of the universal struggle, as they united to face challenges that transcended their individual backgrounds and worlds. In this moment, alliances were formed, attitudes were tested, and the battle against darkness continued with newfound determination.

CAPTAIN MARVEL*

The battlefield shifted, scenes transitioning to another part of the chaotic conflict. As the heroes continued their valiant efforts against the Heartless, a new threat emerged – the menacing presence of the Sanctuary II, the enormous ship commanded by Ebony Maw.

In the midst of the chaos, Glaive's voice crackled over a communicator, seeking guidance from Maw. "What about our troops?"

Maw's response was cold and authoritative. "I hold the rank of second in command while Thanos is occupied with logistics. Open fire now."

With that ominous directive, the Sanctuary II unleashed its devastating barrage, unleashing a torrent of destruction upon the battlefield. The lasers seared the air, wreaking havoc and sowing chaos among the heroes and their foes alike. Sorcerers worked in unison, conjuring protective shields to intercept the lethal energy beams, shielding their groups and safeguarding other heroes caught in the crossfire.

Amidst the chaos, Captain Marvel and Tails took to the skies, engaging in a high-stakes aerial battle against the flying Heartless. Tails skillfully maneuvered his Tornado to evade the laser onslaught, performing intricate barrel rolls and daring maneuvers to escape the deadly beams. Captain Marvel, with her resolute determination, soared alongside him, her energy blasts fending off the Heartless while simultaneously assessing the growing threat of Sanctuary II.

In a display of sheer power, Captain Marvel surged upward toward the massive ship, her energy radiating with intensity. With a resounding crash, she breached the ship's defenses, smashing through its structure with astonishing ease. The Sanctuary II trembled under the force of her assault, and she continued her relentless barrage until the colossal vessel began to plummet from the sky.

Ebony Maw, watching in disbelief from his vantage point, realized his plan had backfired spectacularly. The ship he had commanded to rain destruction upon the battlefield was now spiraling downward, its fate sealed by the unyielding force of Captain Marvel's determination.

But the chaos wasn't over. As the Sanctuary II descended, Ebony Maw found himself struck by debris, propelled by an unseen force. Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, emerged from the fray, her hex powers a testament to her formidable abilities. Her eyes blazed with determination as she confronted Maw, her powers of manipulation and chaos proving to be a force to be reckoned with

Amidst the chaos and wreckage caused by the Sanctuary II's fall, Captain Marvel found herself suspended in the air, her senses attuned to the energy signatures of the Infinity Stones and the formidable gauntlet. With a keen scan of the battlefield, her eyes locked onto a scene that seemed to hold the answers she sought. There, partially obscured by debris, was the gauntlet she had been seeking – protected by a young man clad in a red and blue metal suit.

With a swift descent, Carol landed before the young man, her expression a mix of determination and assessment. As she fixed her gaze on him, the unspoken question hung in the air: friend or foe?

The young man looked up at her with a mixture of awe and apprehension, his voice filled with a blend of nervousness and excitement. "Hi, I'm Peter Parker."

Carol couldn't help but offer a small smile, the name ringing a bell from the stories she had heard. "Hey, Peter Parker," she replied, her voice steady. "Do you have something for me?"

She extended a hand to help him up, and as he rose to his feet, she caught sight of the gauntlet that rested close by. With a swift motion, she took hold of the gauntlet, her grip steady and purposeful. "Good job," she acknowledged, her gaze meeting him with a nod of approval.

With the gauntlet secured, Carol's focus was clear – she had what she needed to fulfill her mission. She spared a moment to communicate her progress, her voice calm and resolute. "I have the Gauntlet. I'm heading to the Quantum Tunnel."

Peter looked at her earnestly, concern evident in his voice. "Be careful."

Carol's lips curved into a knowing smirk as she assured him, "I'll be fine."

With those words, she propelled herself into the air, her powerful abilities propelling her toward the next phase of her mission – finding the Brown Van that held the Quantum Tunnel. The battlefield was a whirlwind of activity, a maelstrom of light and darkness, but Carol's determination burned brightly, fueled by the knowledge that her actions held the key to the universe's fate.

As Captain Marvel streaked across the battlefield, her focus intent on locating the brown van that held the Quantum Tunnel, she found herself guided by an unexpected ally from above. Tails, soaring high in the Tornado, spotted the van amidst the chaos below. With precision and urgency, he relayed the van's location to Carol, his voice clear over the tumultuous din.

"Hey, I see the van! Scott and Hope are down there, fighting off the Heartless to protect it," Tails informed her, his voice a beacon of guidance in the chaos.

Tails' keen observation didn't stop there. From his vantage point, he also caught sight of a familiar figure amidst the battle – Classic Sonic, a hero from another world, engaged in a relentless fight against the Heartless. Tails couldn't help but feel a mixture of pride and camaraderie as he spotted his old friend standing strong against the darkness.

Observing Carol's approach, Tails couldn't contain a chuckle at her astute observation. "It's that Sonic from another dimension!"

Carol's voice held a touch of curiosity as she asked the question on her mind, "Another Sonic?"

Tails replied quickly, his voice carrying a sense of urgency born from the situation at hand. "Long story, but right now, you need to get those Stones to the Quantum Tunnel as soon as possible."

Captain Marvel's determination was unwavering as she thanked Tails for his guidance. Without hesitation, she altered her course, her powerful propulsion carrying her directly toward the location of the van. The battle raged around her, Heartless and heroes clashing in a symphony of light and darkness. Amidst the chaos, Carol embodied the unyielding spirit of those who fought for the greater good, her mission clear and her resolve unshakable.

As Captain Marvel soared across the battlefield, her focus squarely on reaching the Brown Van holding the Quantum Tunnel, an unexpected disruption shattered the relative calm. In the distance, where Thanos observed the unfolding battle, an intense burst of brilliant light erupted. Power levels surged to unprecedented heights, emanating an energy that seemed both celestial and ominous.

Carol's momentum halted as her attention was drawn toward the dazzling spectacle. Her blue eyes narrowed as she studied the phenomenon, her instincts on high alert. Something was happening – something significant. The strange energy that radiated from the source sent a shiver down her spine, a feeling of foreboding mingling with a curiosity that couldn't be denied.

From above, Tails, Sam, and Rhodes – each skilled in their own right – also noticed the disturbing anomaly. Their voices carried a mix of concern and urgency as they relayed their observations to Carol. "Something's going on with Thanos. This doesn't bode well," they warned.

The battlefield, once a chaotic tableau of light and darkness, now held a new element of uncertainty. The convergence of heroes, the clash of titanic forces, and the very fabric of reality itself were all woven together in a tapestry of destiny. As Carol's gaze remained fixed on the mysterious light, the narrative of the battle expanded further, revealing that even the most calculated plans and actions could be upended by the unexpected and the unknown.

The battlefield's tension reached a fever pitch as sudden streaks of vivid colors – purple, black, and orange – materialized in a brilliant burst of light. Carol's attention was drawn to the source, but before she could react, an unimaginable force struck her with bone-rattling impact. She was sent hurtling through the air, her trajectory erratic and uncontrollable. Debris became her brutal companion on the way down, the harsh collision rendering her momentarily incapacitated.

Tony Stark's voice crackled through her communicator, his tone laced with concern. "The hell was that?"

Meanwhile, Super Sonic, Super Shadow, Super Silver, and Super Saiyan Trunks, who had been battling valiantly above, registered the abrupt surge in power and energy. Their attention shifted from the chaos below to the ominous disturbance. An unspoken understanding passed between them as they shared a collective realization – something wicked was hurtling towards the battlefield, a power level that defied logic.

Trunks, his senses attuned to the growing power, felt a chill run down his spine. "It's Thanos, but… his power level and darkness have increased dramatically."

Super Sonic, known for his quick wit, could hardly believe the news. "What?"

Trunks' words took a darker turn as his insight deepened. "No time to waste – he seems to have merged with Mephiles. I sense the darkness and power of Mephiles within this being."

Super Shadow's voice was cool and collected, his resolve unshakeable. "We can't waste any time. Our ally is in trouble, and we need to help."

Silver's empathy and determination echoed in his words. "Carol is in danger. We have to assist her."

With a shared nod, they became streaks of light themselves, zipping through the air with blinding speed. Their golden trails cut through the sky, forming a luminous bridge between them and the stricken Captain Marvel.

As they approached Carol's location, they could sense her energy and condition. The convergence of heroes – the Guardians of Light and these powerful allies from different worlds – encapsulated the essence of the battle: unity against darkness, strength against insurmountable odds, and the unwavering spirit of those who fought to protect all that they held dear.

As the super-powered Hedgehogs and Super Saiyan Trunks landed near their ally, Carol, they found her in a state of agony, clutching the Infinity Gauntlet tightly. Concern etched their faces as they asked about her well-being, their voices laced with urgency.

"Are you okay?" Super Sonic inquired, his voice filled with genuine concern.

Carol managed a wry grin despite her pain. "Hit me pretty darn fierce, but I'm still standing."

Just as the situation seemed to be gathering explanations, another burst of activity unfolded as Sora, Donald, and Goofy rushed onto the scene. T

their expressions mirrored the concern of the others, with Sora asking the burning question that hung in the air, "What the heck just happened?"

Goofy added his perspective, "We saw a light zip across the sky and hit Carol."

The unsettling calm was shattered by a chilling cackle that reverberated across the battlefield. A sinister voice echoed, one that carried a blend of Thanos' ruthlessness and Mephiles' darkness. It was a voice that seemed to have merged the essence of the two beings into an eerie symphony of malevolence, resonating with an otherworldly power that sent shivers down the spines of heroes and villains alike.

The sudden stillness that gripped the battlefield spoke volumes. The convergence of heroes and the forces of darkness had been temporarily halted by the enigmatic presence of this merged entity. Allies and enemies alike found themselves united in shared unease, as the very fabric of reality seemed to ripple with the implications of this new development.

Super Shadow's tone carried a firm resolve, his patience wearing thin as he addressed the voice that had sent shockwaves through the battlefield. "No more games. Show yourself."

The voice responded, echoing with an unsettling blend of ego, conviction, darkness, and venom. Its words dripped with power and malevolence, a bold proclamation that signaled a shift in the tide of the battle – a tide that threatened to wash over all, sparing none in its path. It declared that the universe's fate was sealed, and none would survive their wrath.

Super Sonic, his usual brash and irreverent self, retorted to the voice's arrogance. "Why not step out of the shadows and say that to our faces?"

Sora, echoing the sentiment of the others, joined in. His voice carried a mixture of determination and curiosity. "Yeah, come out and stop hiding!"

The voice's response was chilling in its simplicity: "As you wish."

NEW THREAT*

Emerging from the shadows, a chilling amalgamation of malevolence took form before the gathered heroes. This creature, born from the convergence of Thanos and Mephiles, was a grotesque fusion that defied the boundaries of physical and metaphysical. Its hulking purple frame exuded an aura of menace, while crystalline formations adorned its jagged features, reflecting an unsettling interplay of light and darkness.

Its imposing form was clad in shadowy armor that seemed to pulse with a malevolent energy. Crystalized spikes adorned its body, glinting ominously as they caught the light. Its shoulders bore the weight of an unspeakable darkness, a darkness that seemed to swirl within its very being, manifesting as tendrils of shadow that curled and writhed, a visual testament to its malevolent nature.

The being's clawed hands, each digit crystallized to razor-sharp perfection, possessed an eerie beauty that betrayed their potential for destruction. Its lime green eyes glowed with an otherworldly intensity, a luminescence that seemed to pierce through the fabric of reality itself. In those eyes danced the intertwining essences of Thanos and Mephiles – power and malice, ambition and darkness, merged into an unsettling union.

Upon its chest, a blood-orange gemstone pulsed ominously, casting an eerie light that cast bizarre shadows across its form. This gemstone held a sinister allure, its very presence a beacon of power that both captivated and repulsed those who beheld it. The gemstone's glow seemed to amplify the creature's aura, casting an ethereal glow around it and giving its form an almost spectral quality.

As the heroes and villains stared at this new entity in shock and trepidation, Super Silver's voice cut through the tension. "Who the hell are you?"

With a malevolent chuckle, the creature stepped forward, its voice a distorted and eerie blend of Thanos' and Mephiles' essence. "I am Thaphiles – the convergence of two powers, two ambitions, two beings who seek ultimate dominion. The universe shall tremble before me."

The revelation of the being's name only deepened the sense of foreboding that hung over the battlefield. Thaphiles, the embodiment of darkness and power, stood as a force that transcended individual heroes and villains, weaving a narrative that resonated with the very essence of existence itself.

The arrival of Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor added another layer of resolve to the gathering of heroes, even as their expressions displayed a mixture of shock and concern. Tony Stark's incredulous voice broke through the tense atmosphere. "What the hell is that thing?"

Super Trunks stepped forward, his voice resolute as he provided insight. "It's a fusion of Thanos and Mephiles. Their power combined."

Captain America's skepticism was evident as he questioned the feasibility of such a fusion. "Is that even possible?"

Thaphiles, the embodiment of malevolence and power, responded with a sinister chuckle, his voice echoing with arrogance. "Fools. With the power we possess, anything is possible."

Thor's keen eyes caught the glint of the blood-orange gemstone on Thaphiles' chest, an element that seemed to play a role in the being's transformation. He voiced his observation, his voice laced with suspicion. "Is that gemstone aiding you in this unholy fusion?"

Trunks, who had encountered the gemstone before, stepped forward to share his knowledge. "I've seen that gemstone before. It was on Sanctuary II when I was aboard."

Captain America's strategic mind kicked into gear as he sought understanding. "Do you know what it is?"

Trunks' expression shifted to one of uncertainty. "No clue."

Thaphiles, however, dismissed their queries with a chilling confidence. "It matters not to you meddling mortals. Now, it's time to bring this tale to its inevitable end."

The gravity of the situation was palpable as heroes and villains alike stood before Thaphiles, a being born of two formidable powers and an enigmatic gemstone. The confrontation that had been building since the inception of this battle now reached its climax, the outcome hanging in the balance. The narrative had led to this pivotal moment, where the destiny of the universe rested upon the choices and actions of those who stood united against the darkness that threatened to consume all.

AROUND THE BATTLEFIELD*

From a distance, a disparate group of observers – The Wayfinder Trio, Vanitas, Beerus, and Whis – watched in both awe and trepidation as the emergence of Thaphiles unfolded. Beerus, in particular, found himself captivated by the spectacle. Whis, ever the observer, noted the fusion of Thanos and Mephiles with a detached curiosity.

Beerus' intrigue was palpable. "Fascinating," he mused, his tone tinged with a mixture of fascination and amusement. He couldn't help but draw a parallel to the fusion of Saiyans in his own universe. "I've seen the Saiyans fuse in Universe 7, but the fact that it can happen here as well is quite intriguing."

The Wayfinder Trio – Aqua, Terra, and Ventus – exchanged uncertain glances. The implications of such a fusion defied their understanding of reality. Ventus finally voiced their collective confusion. "How is something like this even possible?"

Vanitas, his usual sarcastic self, responded with deadpan honesty. "Isn't it obvious? It's Thanos and Mephiles merging with the Eternal Ruby."

Aqua, Terra, and Ventus blinked in unison, clearly puzzled by the term. "The Eternal Ruby?" Aqua queried, her voice a mixture of confusion and curiosity.

Vanitas, ever the bearer of knowledge, provided an explanation – albeit with his characteristic sarcastic tone. "Yes, the Eternal Ruby. It's not like it's a common term."

Beerus turned to Whis, seeking insights from his ever-knowledgeable companion. "Anything like this in our universe that I should know about?"

Whis responded with his usual calm demeanor. "No, my lord. This seems to be a unique convergence of circumstances."

Terra's desperation was evident as he looked to Beerus, seeking a glimmer of hope that the powerful God of Destruction could intervene and put an end to the malevolent fusion that threatened the universe. He voiced his plea with a sense of urgency, "Lord Beerus, Are you absolutely sure you can't help us here and put an end to this creature?"

Beerus heaved a resigned sigh, his voice tinged with a mixture of annoyance and restraint. "Terra, I've told you before. I'm a destroyer, not a savior. I can't interfere directly in these matters."

Despite his limitations, Beerus couldn't help but express a touch of intrigue and amusement. He considered the situation at hand, realizing the gravity of the battle and the potential consequences. His words carried a hint of wry humor as he continued, "But let's see how this pans out. I certainly don't fancy returning to Grand Zeno and admitting that my universe was obliterated on my first day as its caretaker."

Whis, ever the voice of reason and logic, chimed in with a composed tone. "Indeed, that would likely lead to a demotion."

Beerus' retort was swift, his words laced with self-deprecating humor. "Demotion? More like self-destruction. I'd probably end up destroying myself before they could."

Amidst the chaos of battle, Knuckles and Rouge remained steadfast in their duty to protect the Master Emerald, a task they held close to their hearts. As the unfolding power of Thaphiles commanded their attention, they couldn't help but be awestruck by the magnitude of the events transpiring around them.

Nearby, Doctor Strange and Wong observed the unfolding spectacle, their expressions a blend of concern and contemplation. Knuckles turned to the Doctor, seeking guidance and a possible solution. "Should I complete the ritual now to superpower the Chaos Emeralds?"

Doctor Strange hesitated, his eyes fixed on the unfolding battle. "Wait," he finally responded.

Knuckles and Rouge exchanged puzzled glances, their confusion mirrored by Wong. The idea of waiting, of delaying action in the face of imminent danger, seemed counterintuitive. Rouge's skepticism was palpable as she voiced her concern. "When is the right time, then? It feels like we're just stalling for time."

Strange's response carried a weight of enigma, his words shrouded in layers of meaning. "If I were to reveal the timing, it would alter the outcome. You'll know when the time is right."

Knuckles' patience was wearing thin, frustration evident in his voice as he pressed for answers. "We need answers, Strange. We can't afford to be left in the dark."

Strange's gaze remained fixed on the unfolding events, his demeanor a mix of determination and calculated contemplation. "Trust me, Knuckles. The timing is crucial. I understand your urgency, but revealing too much too soon could have dire consequences."

The exchange between Knuckles, Rouge, and Doctor Strange captured the tension that underscored the battle for the universe. As events unfolded and new challenges emerged, the heroes found themselves navigating a delicate balance between action and patience, between taking the initiative and allowing fate to unfold naturally.

As Axel, Roxas, Xion, and Isa turned their gaze towards the radiant light in the distance – a light that heralded the emergence of the enigmatic Thaphiles – a chorus of inquiries arose among the group. Their voices carried a blend of curiosity and concern, seeking to understand the nature of this new and formidable presence.

"Ok, who or what is that thing?" Axel asked. "Anyone, no?"

In the midst of their contemplation, an unexpected figure materialized before them, catching them off guard. It was Namine, but with a twist. The group was quick to voice their surprise and confusion, with questions cascading forth.

"When did you arrive?" "How did you get here?" Asked Isa, looking in disbelief.

Namine, her expression serene and resolute, explained her unique circumstance. "I am not the Namine you all know. I am a variant from the past, brought here to offer assistance."

Xion's curiosity was piqued as she sought to understand the mechanics of Namine's appearance. "How did you manage to travel here?"

Namine's response was shrouded in mystery, her voice tinged with regret. "That's a secret I'm afraid I can't share."

Roxas, seeking to grasp the significance of the being they were witnessing, asked for clarification. "Do you know what that is over there?"

Namine's powers of memory manipulation allowed her insight into the origins of Thaphiles. She explained with a measured tone, "That is Thanos and Mephiles merged into one entity. The gemstone on its chest holds the key to their fusion."

Isa's skepticism was evident as he queried the plausibility of such an occurrence. "How is that even possible?"

Namine's explanation delved into the heart of the matter, revealing the role of the gemstone in the fusion's creation. "The gemstone amplifies their power and allows them to merge, giving rise to this new being."

Axel, ever the one to inject humor into the situation, couldn't resist making a playful quip. "Well, this just keeps getting weirder and weirder."

As the group continued to grapple with the appearance of Thaphiles – an unexpected arrival further added to the unfolding narrative. Quill, Drax, Groot, Rocket, Nebula, and Mantis stood before them, a testament to the diverse range of characters drawn into this cosmic conflict. Quill's voice held a mixture of concern and camaraderie as he inquired about their well-being.

"Hey, you guys okay?"

Axel's trademark sarcasm was present as he responded to Quill's query. "Oh, just peachy. Especially now that we have a shiny new threat to deal with." He gestured towards Thaphiles with a hint of irony.

Rocket's characteristic curiosity and skepticism emerged as he aimed his attention towards the enigmatic being. "What the heck is that thing?"

Mantis, with her empathic abilities, contributed her insights to the discussion. Her voice held an air of solemn understanding. "It's a being born of darkness, frustration, ego, and sorrow."

Drax, ever the straightforward warrior, honed in on the unexpected mention of "sorrow." He sought to comprehend the intricacies of Thaphiles' origins. "Sorrow? Explain."

Namine stepped forward to offer her perspective, her voice carrying a tone of gentle authority. "Mephiles carries the emptiness of his original timeline being erased, while Thanos harbors the pain of his mission for balance. Those emotions have become intertwined, giving rise to Thaphiles."

Nebula's inquisitive nature led her to focus on the orange gemstone adorning Thaphiles' chest. She asked with a note of skepticism, "And what's that gem?"

Namine was quick to provide an explanation, her words unveiling the significance of the Eternal Ruby. "That's the Eternal Ruby. It's linked to their fusion."

Axel, always eager to connect the dots, raised another question. "Does it have any connection to the Phantom Ruby by any chance?"

"The connection between these two rubies is rooted in their origins," Namine began, her voice carrying a note of authority that drew the group's attention. "Both the Eternal Ruby and the Phantom Ruby are ancient artifacts with immense power. They are conduits of energy and emotion, capable of shaping reality and manipulating the fabric of existence."

She paused briefly, allowing her words to sink in, before continuing. "The Phantom Ruby, as some of you may know, is a gem with the ability to warp reality and create illusions. It's been a source of both chaos and manipulation, often falling into the hands of those with nefarious intentions."

Namine's gaze shifted toward the distant Thaphiles, whose presence loomed as a testament to the consequences of such power. "The Eternal Ruby, on the other hand, is a force of balance, tied to the concept of eternal existence and stability. Its origins are shrouded in mystery, but it has been safeguarded throughout time, its purpose to counteract the chaos brought about by artifacts like the Phantom Ruby."

She looked back to the group, her expression grave but resolute. "Thaphiles is the result of Thanos and Mephiles harnessing the power of the Eternal Ruby to merge their intentions and abilities. Their fusion is a manifestation of darkness, ego, and sorrow – emotions amplified by the very gem that connects them."

As Namine's words resonated, the group absorbed the weight of the revelation, understanding the intricate tapestry of power and emotion that had led to the creation of this formidable adversary.

Groot's signature phrase, "I am Groot," reverberated through the air in response to the unfolding conversation. The simplicity of his words held a depth of meaning understood by his fellow Guardians. However, this time, there was something different in the phrase, a hint of surprise and urgency that caught the attention of the group. Rocket, ever vigilant when it came to his tree-like friend's communication, reacted swiftly with a playful scolding.

"Hey, watch your language there, Groot." His voice carried a mix of affection and exasperation, indicative of the camaraderie they shared.

Roxas, the perceptive member of the group, seemed intrigued by the exchange. "You can understand him?"

Rocket nodded, a knowing smirk on his face. "Yeah, us Guardians can. It's all in the inflection, the tone, you know."

Groot, undeterred by the scolding, repeated his phrase once more, his intonation conveying a sense of urgency. "I am Groot."

Axel, unfamiliar with the intricacies of Groot's language, looked on with a mix of confusion and bewilderment. "Is he, like, saying something different each time? Or is it always 'I am Groot'?"

Rocket chuckled, recognizing the puzzlement on Axel's face. "It's all in the way he says it, buddy. Trust me, after spending enough time around him, you'll start to pick up on it."

Amidst the exchange, Axel's reaction stood out. Bewildered and perhaps slightly amused, he couldn't hide his surprise at encountering a talking tree. The absurdity of the situation seemed to highlight the diversity of characters and experiences that had been drawn together in the face of the cosmic conflict.

As the gathering of heroes observed the emergence of Thaphiles, a fusion of darkness and power, their reactions painted a vivid tableau of intrigue and awe. T'Challa, Bucky, Wanda, Clint, Amy Rose, Spyro, Shuri, and Okoye stood together, united in their amazement and uncertainty about the unfolding events.

Clint's characteristic humor emerged as he commented on the situation, reflecting a mix of weariness and disbelief. "I'm getting too old for this."

Amy's curiosity led her to seek an understanding of the situation. "What's happening?"

Spyro's assessment carried a weight of caution as he spoke of the ominous energy surrounding Thaphiles. "Something sinister is at play here."

Wanda's mystical senses granted her insight into the being's essence. She could feel the energy levels and the overwhelming presence of darkness. Her voice carried a somber tone as she shared her realization. "It's a fusion of Thanos and another being, one steeped in darkness."

Clint took on the role of an impromptu explainer, providing context for those who might be unfamiliar. "That other being has to be Mephiles. He's caused some issues for us – those who survived the snap – when we completed the time heist."

T'Challa's words resonated with a sense of optimism, even in the face of such overwhelming power. "This being may appear formidable, but the strength of our unity and the bonds of friendship will ultimately prevail."

Shuri, never one to pass up a playful opportunity, couldn't resist poking fun at her brother's involvement with Keyblade wielders. "Sounds like my brother has been spending too much time with those Keyblade folks."

Bucky's pragmatism and determination underscored his commitment to the task at hand. "We can't let this thing run rampant. We need to take it down."

However, Wanda's perspective offered a dose of reality, acknowledging the formidable challenge they faced. "As much as I'd like to agree, it's too powerful for most of us to handle."

Okoye's practicality came to the fore as she sought potential solutions. "Wanda, can you do something with your hex powers? We need a way to neutralize it."

Wanda considered the idea, her thoughts steeped in the complexities of her own abilities. "I can try. But from what I sense, those hedgehogs, the blond-haired boy, Sora, and the other Keyblade wielders might have a better shot at it. My hex powers might not be enough."

Amy's unwavering belief in Sonic's super form resonated with determination. "I have faith in Sonic and his super form. But that doesn't mean we can just give up. We have to do whatever it takes."

Spyro's assurance brought a measure of hope to the conversation. "She's right. We can't stand idly. There must be a way we can contribute, even if it's not through brute force."

Bucky's acknowledgment of Spyro's insight underscored their collective commitment to contributing to the battle. "The talking purple dragon's got a point. We can't just stand by. We need to find a way to aid them."

T'Challa's agreement with Bucky demonstrated his dedication to supporting their allies in whatever way possible. "Bucky is right. We can't simply watch from the sidelines. We must do whatever we can to aid our friends in this fight."

Their words encapsulated a shared sense of duty and unity among the heroes. Even in the face of an overwhelmingly powerful adversary, the resolve to stand together and lend their assistance shone brightly. As they navigated the chaos of battle, their actions were a testament to the strength of their alliances and the willingness to face adversity head-on.

The emergence of Thaphiles drew the attention of Kairi, Riku, King Mickey, Team Chaotix, and Omega, causing their ongoing battle with Proxima and Glaive to come to an abrupt halt. All eyes were fixed on the enigmatic figure before them, a fusion of power and darkness that defied explanation.

Proxima, ever one for theatricality, couldn't resist a gloating moment. "Our father has accomplished it."

Riku's confusion was palpable as he sought answers from Proxima. "Accomplished what?"

Proxima's voice dripped with the knowledge of a great secret, setting the stage for further revelation. "The merging of two powerful forces, united by the Eternal Ruby."

Kairi's brows furrowed as she absorbed this piece of information. "Eternal Ruby? What's that?"

Team Chaotix and Omega shared concerned glances, aware that the situation had taken an even more dire turn. Vector's characteristic determination was evident as he posed a question to the enigmatic figures before them. "What does this merging accomplish?"

Glaive's chuckle held a sense of grim satisfaction as he provided a glimpse into the intentions behind this fusion. "A convergence of power, darkness, and purpose. The universe shall be reshaped."

Mickey's tone was unyielding as he addressed Proxima and Glaive, determined to understand their motives. "And you two are just okay with that?"

Proxima's smirk remained as she addressed Mickey's inquiry, her confidence unwavering. "Our loyalty lies with the convergence. It is the will of our father and the culmination of our purpose."

Omega's metallic voice resonated with an analytical edge as he interjected, his red eyes fixed on Proxima and Glaive. "Convergence of power. Dark purpose. Irregular variables detected."

Espio, the ninja of Team Chaotix, took a more direct approach as he questioned their intentions. "What do you hope to achieve by reshaping the universe?"

Glaive's tone held a hint of disdain as he responded to Espio's question. "Order. Balance. Restoration. Through the reformation of all existence."

Charmy, ever the optimist, chimed in with a mixture of confusion and determination. "But... why? Why do this? It's just gonna hurt a lot of people."

Proxima's response was laced with a sense of detachment as she considered Charmy's words. "Suffering is the catalyst for growth. The universe must evolve, even if it means upheaval."

Riku's voice carried a note of defiance as he addressed the Children of Thanos. "You're willing to bring pain and destruction to fulfill your vision of growth?"

Kairi's concern was evident as she sought to understand the motivations driving their adversaries. "Is that really the only way?"

Proxima's gaze fixated on Kairi as she responded, her words carrying a mixture of conviction and cold detachment. "In the tapestry of existence, there are often only extremes – creation and destruction, light and darkness. To alter the fabric, sometimes one must embrace the chaos to forge a new order."

Riku's voice held a note of skepticism as he challenged Proxima's perspective. "But at what cost? Is it worth sacrificing lives and causing pain to achieve this so-called new order?"

Glaive's voice dripped with a bitter irony as he addressed Riku's concern. "Life is fleeting, and pain is an inevitable part of existence. What is sacrificed is merely a fragment in the grand design."

Omega's analytical mind was unyielding as he added his perspective to the conversation. "Actions have consequences. Calculating potential outcomes..."

Espio's eyes remained fixed on Proxima and Glaive, his voice measured and focused. "Even if you believe in your purpose, are you prepared to face the consequences of altering the universe on such a scale?"

Charmy's youthful determination cut through the gravity of the conversation as he spoke up once more. "There has to be another way, a way to grow and evolve without causing harm."

Proxima's expression remained impassive as she contemplated Charmy's words. "You seek simplicity in a complex universe, young one."

Mickey's voice held a resolute edge as he addressed Proxima and Glaive. "We may face challenges and pain, but there's always a choice. A choice to fight for a better world without causing unnecessary suffering."

"The Mouse is right." Vector interjected. "There is always a choice. And our choice right now, is to stop that monster!"

The words exchanged were a testament to the clash of ideals and perspectives, with the heroes and their adversaries each grappling with their understanding of the universe and their role within it. As they confronted the complexities of their motivations and beliefs, the fate of their reality hung in the balance – a convergence of power and purpose that would determine the course of the universe's future.

Peter Parker stood alongside Cloud, Falcon, Rhodey, and Tails, their eyes fixed on the unfolding chaos before them. The fusion of Thanos and Mephiles, now known as Thaphiles, was a sight to behold – a menacing entity that exuded darkness and power.

Cloud's gaze was unwavering as he offered his insight. "I can sense a malevolent force emanating from that creature. It's nothing like I've encountered before."

Tails, having disembarked from the Tornado, joined the conversation. "That's Mephiles's darkness. It's merged with Thanos somehow."

Peter's brows furrowed as he took in the information. "Mephiles? Who's that?"

Tails explained, his voice a mix of concern and urgency. "Mephiles is a being of pure darkness and chaos. He's caused a lot of trouble in the past."

Cloud's expression remained serious as he absorbed this new knowledge. "So, Thanos and Mephiles have combined forces. That can't be good."

Falcon's tone held a sense of determination as he addressed the situation. "Whatever it is, we can't let it continue wreaking havoc."

Rhodey's analytical mind was at work as he inquired about the orange gem on Thaphiles's chest. "What's that orange thing on its chest? Does it have any significance?"

Tails considered the question before responding. "I'm not entirely sure, but it looks similar to the Phantom Ruby."

Falcon's curiosity was piqued. "Phantom Ruby? What's that?"

Tails launched into an explanation, his voice carrying a sense of urgency as he detailed the Phantom Ruby's history and abilities. "The Phantom Ruby is a powerful gemstone that can manipulate reality and distort dimensions. It's caused a lot of trouble before."

Rhodey's expression was one of concern as he took in Tails's explanation. "So, this thing has a gem like the Phantom Ruby? That can't be good news."

Peter's voice was filled with determination as he considered their options. "We can't just stand by and let it do whatever it wants. We have to stop it."

Tails's voice was tinged with caution as he disagreed with Peter's assertion. "It's too powerful. Super Sonic might be the only one who can take it down."

Cloud's assessment was pragmatic as he considered their chances. "And Riku and the other Keyblade wielders, can they stand against it?"

Tails nodded. "They're strong, but this... it's different. The darkness and power radiating from Thaphiles are unlike anything we've encountered before."

Falcon's determination remained unwavering as he addressed the group. "We can't just give up. We'll find a way to stop it."

Rhodey's voice held a note of agreement. "We've faced tough challenges before. We'll work together and find a way to take it down."

Tails's eyes held a glimmer of hope as he spoke. "If we can gather the strength of all the heroes here, maybe we can stand a chance."

The group's conversation was a testament to their resolve and determination to confront the new threat before them. As they exchanged thoughts and ideas, the gravity of the situation became clear – the fate of the universe rested on their shoulders, and they were determined to do whatever it took to protect their reality from the malevolent force that had emerged.

As the Heartless retreated back into the shadows, Hope, Scott, and Classic Sonic remained vigilant, their attention now fixated on the ominous being that had emerged. Scott's voice cut through the tension with a touch of humor, "Well, someone didn't win the beauty contest."

Classic Sonic's focus shifted from the new entity to the orange gem on its chest. His contemplative expression conveyed a mix of curiosity and concern, the significance of the gem not lost on him even without spoken words.

"What is the orange thing on its chest?" Hope asked, looking to Sonic and Scott for answers.

Before any of them could process the situation further, a voice sliced through the air – a voice familiar to Sonic.

"That would be the Eternal Ruby, my dear." The voice was accompanied by the distinct whirring of machinery, and as they turned, the source of the voice became clear – Doctor Eggman, seated confidently in his Egg Walker, with Metal Sonic by his side.

Classic Sonic's reaction was immediate – he sprang into action, his stance ready for a confrontation. Eggman raised a placating hand, addressing Sonic with a chuckle, "Calm down, I'm not here to cause trouble."

Scott's skepticism was palpable as he directed his inquiry at the mustachioed figure. "Alright, spill the beans. Who are you, why is there a metallic twin of Sonic over there, and what's the deal with that monstrosity?"

Eggman's grin remained, his confidence unshaken as he began to explain. "I am Doctor Eggman. As for this metal counterpart," he gestured towards Metal Sonic, "meet my creation, Metal Sonic. And that," he pointed towards Thaphiles, "is a being born from the merging of Thanos and Mephiles, powered by the Eternal Ruby."

Hope's expression held a mix of disbelief and curiosity. "You're saying that thing is a fusion of Thanos and Mephiles?"

Eggman's smirk widened. "Indeed, my dear. An experiment in harnessing the power of darkness, I assume. I came here to lend a hand against this new threat. After all, it's in my best interest to prevent universal destruction."

Scott's skepticism persisted as he crossed his arms. "Why should we trust you? You've been a villain in the past, from what Sonic & Tails told me."

Eggman's tone took on a more earnest note. "True, but even I recognize the stakes are much higher now. We have a common enemy in this being, and I believe it's in all our interests to stop it."

Classic Sonic's eyes remained locked onto Eggman, his stance relaxing slightly but still wary.

Metal Sonic, standing silently by Eggman's side, emitted a low hum – a sound that seemed almost contemplative, given its mechanical nature.

Hope exchanged a glance with Scott before turning back to Eggman. "Alright, we'll accept your help for now. But don't think we won't be keeping an eye on you."

Eggman's smile remained, a mixture of genuine reassurance and a hint of mischief. "Fair enough. Let's focus on dealing with this immediate threat. There'll be plenty of time for mistrust later."

Classic Sonic, his energy apparent in every jump and motion, attempted to communicate with the group, his intention clear despite his lack of spoken words. However, his message remained a mystery to those unfamiliar with his form of expression. Eggman, ever the interpreter for his mute, alternate-dimensional nemesis, stepped in to clarify. Sonic continued his energetic jumping, clearly eager to contribute his thoughts. Eggman glanced at him, then back at Hope.

"He's got a point – that being over there is far too powerful for just the two of you (pointing to Scott and Hope), a metallic imitation, and my own unmatched genius."

Sonic's jumping became even more animated, his urgency apparent. He pointed at Super Sonic, who was nearby, and then at himself, trying to convey a specific idea. Eggman followed Sonic's gestures, nodding in understanding. "Oh, I see now. You're wondering why you can't transform into Super Sonic like your counterpart."

Hope's expression shifted from confusion to realization. "Wait, so he's asking why he can't go super like the others?"

Eggman chuckled and rubbed his chin in mock contemplation. "A valid question indeed. You see, my genius has its limits. It seems that the Chaos Emeralds of this universe don't quite work the same way on multiversal, dimensional travelers like yourself."

Sonic's enthusiasm didn't waver as he continued to express himself through movement and gestures. Eggman shrugged in response. "Yes, I'm afraid even my intellect can't immediately solve the riddle of interdimensional transformations in such a short time frame. For now, my blue friend, you're stuck with your usual, non-glowing self."

"Bummer." Scott sighed, knowing that another Super Sonic would help turn the tide.

Hope's gaze shifted between Sonic and Eggman, her brow furrowing. "So, you can't become Super Sonic here?"

Eggman nodded, a hint of a smile tugging at his lips. "Exactly. We'll have to rely on other means to face this new threat. But fear not, my dear – even without those golden locks, our Sonic here could still be quite capable."

Sonic's response was an enthusiastic thumbs-up, his determination unwavering. As the strange alliance between heroes, allies, and even former adversaries solidified, they prepared to confront Thaphiles, their unique strengths and teamwork standing as their greatest assets against this formidable fusion of darkness and power.

Thaphiles *

Thaphiles stood before the assembly of powerful beings, his form exuding an air of arrogance and malevolence. He began to boast about the newfound power he possessed, a fusion of Thanos and Mephiles that seemed to grant him a level of strength that dwarfed even the most formidable opponents. His voice dripped with confidence as he taunted the assembled heroes and allies.

Super Sonic, Super Shadow, Super Silver, and Super Saiyan Trunks maintained their positions, their expressions unyielding in the face of Thaphiles ' bravado. Iron Man, Cap, and Thor exchanged determined glances, their resolve unwavering. Sora, Donald, and Goofy remained focused, ready to challenge Thaphiles despite the overwhelming odds.

Captain Marvel, her eyes set on the gauntlet in her possession, stood tall with a sense of purpose that radiated from her. She responded with a steely gaze, her voice carrying a weight of determination. "We're not here to let you run rampant with that power."

Thaphiles let out a mocking chuckle, his lime-green eyes narrowing as he assessed the group. "And what exactly do you intend to do about it? A ragtag assembly of heroes? Mortals who dare to oppose me?"

Sora stepped forward, his Keyblade at the ready, his tone resolute. "You're wrong, Thaphiles . Our strength doesn't come from some new power or force – it comes from our bonds, our friendships, and our determination to protect the light."

Thaphiles scoffed, his posture oozing arrogance. "Friends? Bonds? Such feeble sentiments have no place in my realm of power."

Captain Marvel's voice cut through the tension, carrying a note of defiance. "You underestimate the strength that comes from standing together. Our unity can overcome even the darkest of forces."

Thaphiles ' expression twisted into a sneer. "Unity, light – your words are nothing but empty promises, Sora, Captain Marvel. Your kind has been defeated time and time again."

Thor's voice boomed with authority, his eyes flashing with resolve. "But we never stop fighting. We never stop believing in the power of good."

Super Shadow's crimson eyes glinted as he spoke, his tone unwavering. "Darkness may have its strength, but so does our determination to protect the universe."

Super Silver's gaze bore into Thaphiles , his conviction clear in his voice. "We've faced incredible odds before, and we've come out on top."

Thaphiles ' smile twisted further, his arrogance undiminished. "How amusing, your futile attempts at defiance. But mark my words, your efforts are in vain. The power I possess cannot be matched."

Super Saiyan Trunks stepped forward, his aura of determination palpable. "You might have power, but we have something even stronger – our conviction to protect what's important."

Sora's voice joined the chorus, his words resonating with unwavering belief. "We'll prove you wrong, Thaphiles . Our light will prevail over your darkness."

Tony's inquisitive nature was unquenchable as he eyed the conspicuous orange gem on Thapiles' chest. His voice carried a hint of skepticism as he questioned the enigmatic being. "And what's the deal with that flashy orange gem of destiny on your chest?"

Thapiles' grin grew even wider, as if relishing the opportunity to share his twisted motives. He explained, his tone laced with an air of superiority, "This,Stark, is the Eternal Ruby. A gem of immense power, capable of harnessing and amplifying the darkest of emotions and the most potent of desires. It's what enabled me to merge with the might of Thanos and the malevolence of Mephiles."

Super Sonic's defiant voice cut through the conversation, his confidence unshaken. "We'll put a stop to your twisted plans, no matter how many gems you've got on your chest."

Thapiles' gaze locked onto Sonic, his lime-green eyes glinting with an unsettling mix of determination and malice. "Ah, the heroic hedgehog who meddled in my plans across timelines. You're right, Sonic, you're a central part of my motives."

Super Sonic's expression was fierce, his aura ablaze with determination. "You're not the first villain I've dealt with, and you won't be the last. We've beaten the odds before."

Thapiles' smirk held a twisted charm as he responded, "I have no intention of being just another villain, Sonic. I am the convergence of Thanos' grand vision and Mephiles' insidious desires. A perfect blend of darkness and dominance."

Super Saiyan Trunks stepped forward, his resolve evident in his stance. "No matter how much power you've gained, we'll stand against you."

Thapiles' laughter resonated through the air, a chilling sound that reverberated with echoes of impending doom. "Very well Saiyan, let the battle commence. But know this – you stand in my way, and I will obliterate you all, starting with you, Sonic. Erasing you from existence once and for all."

As the tension in the air mounted, and the two forces prepared for the clash that would determine the fate of the universe, the battle lines were drawn with unwavering determination on both sides. Thapiles' formidable power may have been bolstered by the Eternal Ruby, but the resilience and unity of the heroes stood as a beacon of hope against the encroaching darkness.
