"Last time on Death Battle, the Ninja Turtles battled to find the deadliest of the team, and good ol' Leo used cunning strategy and swordplay to come out on top." Boomstick recaps the last episode.

"But the fight isn't over yet. Leonardo must now face his most powerful imitator: Zitz, the leader of the mighty Battletoads." Wiz introduces Leo's new challenger.

"He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick."

"And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win… a Death Battle."

"Back to back episodes with Leonardo?" Pyrrha asks.

"Kind of weird, but I'm okay with it… even if he did kill his brothers." Jaune brings up.

"I mean, I think we can at least consider the fact that this isn't canon. So him killing his brothers is only something that happened on this show." Blake points out.

"Hey, yeah, you're right, Blake." Ruby says cheerfully.

"Yeah, I doubt he would ever ACTUALLY kill his brothers." Yang says.

"Zitz was computer engineered as one of three ultimate amphibian warriors in a gladiatorial video game reality show called Battletoads." Wiz begins talking about Zitz. "This accidentally opened a dimensional gateway to another galaxy. Every time the game began, the galaxy became the Battletoad arena for their superhero war against the Dark Queen and they-"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, what?" Boomstick interrupts, Not totally comprehending what Wiz is talking about.

"Three nerds made a video game, got sucked through it into another galaxy, and became toad superheroes."

"That's… super weird, but super cool!" Ruby says.

"And virtual reality video game sounds pretty sweet too." Yang comments.

"'Kay, got it!"

"Zitz was originally colored yellow, to differentiate him from Rash, but he is now officially a blue-green hue. He leads the Battletoad team with a laid back yet strategic attitude."

"He chooses to go with my personal favorite battle strategy: Beat the shit out of everything that moves!" Boomstick adds.

"He sounds like my kinda guy." Yang comments.

"Yeah! I'll drink to that." Nora says, holding up a cup of coffee, which Ren swipes out of her hand.

"I don't think so, Nora…" Ren says with a glare. "You thought you could sneak one past me? Think again!"

"Aww…" Nora groans.

"And as a Battletoad, Zitz can shapeshift his body into various weaponry: Giant fists, heavy weights, ram horns, you name it." Boomstick adds.

"Woah! That is so cool!" Ruby says in amazement. "He can change into any weapon he wants to!" She begins imagining herself being able to change into a scythe.

"Unlike his teammates, Zitz has used his inventive genius to mechanically advance his weaponry far beyond those of his fellow toads. By combining technology and brawn, Zitz has added blades, saws, and drills to his arsenal." Wiz says.

"So not only he powerful, he's also very intelligent." Pyrrha says, impressed.

"I can certainly appreciate that, even if his strategy is a bit much for my tastes." Weiss admits.

"I think Leonardo may have his work cut out for him." Blake says.

"This guy could be the world's best handyman, if he always wasn't getting sucked into an alternate dimension every time someone turned on a video game." Boomstick continues.

"Despite having almost no actual combat training, Zitz has proved strong enough to power through some of the toughest games ever made. And yes, the game's excruciating difficulty is canon, as it was specifically programmed by the Battletoads themselves."

"Yeah, try and wrap your brain around that one."

"I'm a big bad mother of all toads!" Zitz yells as he hops around onscreen.

"I think I may need to go with Zitz on this one. I can appreciate his strategy of brute force." Yang says.

"And brawn isn't his only advantage, he may also have the edge in brains as well." Weiss points out.

"I think you guys are underestimating Leonardo. Lets not forget he's a master strategist and skilled fighter." Blake says.

"Plus… He's a NINJA!" Ruby says making chopping motions.

"We briefly covered his abilities last episode, but there's plenty more to Leonardo." Wiz begins to go over Leo again. "He's trained in Ninjitsu and Bushido all his life, shaping his body and mind to master close combat, swordsmanship, honor, and the art of invisibility."

Ren and Blake both silently make their predictions based on Leonardo's stealth.

"He's also the strategist of the turtle team, who are now all dead. Sooo… yeah." Boomstick says.

"Why'd you have to bring that up!" Ruby says with cartoonish tears spraying from her eyes.

"Way too soon!" Jaune says as he holds onto Pyrrha, who pats his head to comfort him.

"Leonardo is especially skilled in use of the environment to outsmart and outmaneuver an opponent. He is also the only Ninja Turtle in any timeline who has studied under two masters, Splinter the rat, and the Ancient One."

"Hey Wiz, look! It's an Asian Yoda! …What?" Boomstick asks, apparently getting some type of look from Wiz. "Leo wields two Ninjakan swords, which are best for swift deadly strikes and are designed with the idea that a good offense, is the best defense. They're usually mistaken as katana in the shows and comics, even though they are obviously straight, rather than curved."

"The Ninjakan is, in fact, an invention of Hollywood, as there is no historical evidence of the weapon's existence."

"Like the moon landing!"

"Moon landing?" Ruby asks.

"What is he talking about?" Jaune wonders.

"Do you think it's possible they landed on their moon in this world?" Blake says.

"No way! It's never been done before on Remnant."

"Would that have something to do with the fact that half of it is gone?" Ren asks Weiss.

"That's beside the point. If Atlas technology can't reach it, then I doubt anyone's can." Weiss stands firm.

"Shut up. While he usually relies on his brothers' solid teamwork, he has proven to be a very effective warrior on his own, too, defeating all sorts of enemies like ninja robots, giant monsters, war-torn aliens, and even The Shredder."

Leo swings his sword multiple times at a foot clan ninja, who ducks every time, but the last time, fakes the swing.

"Gotcha." Leo says before kicking the ninja to the floor before kicking one behind him as well.

This got a chuckle out of Ruby, Yang and Nora while Weiss rolled her eyes.

"Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all." Wiz says.

"It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!" Boomstick shouts.

Zitz jumps over a wire fence and walks forward as Leonardo jumps out of the sewer. Zitz turns to face his opponent.

FIGHT!

Zitz uses his ram horns to knock Leonardo into the fence, and as Leo bounces off, Zitz kicks him with an iron boot and then punches him away with a giant fist. Leo recovers just in time to avoid Zitz' drill attack and kicks him twice, only to get countered by a giant fist and a spiked wall. After pummeling Leo some more, Zitz throws him towards the wire fence.

"Woah, he's totally flooring Leo." Jaune comments.

"Just like I knew he would." Yang adds.

"The fight isn't over yet, Yang. As we've seen, Leonardo is a very capable warrior." Pyrrha retorts.

"If anything, Zitz is likely to wear himself out before this is over." Blake adds, believing Leonardo still has this.

"Then he just needs to finish him off before that!" Nora adds.

Ruby was just amazed by the amount of weapons Zitz can turn himself into.

Leo flips onto his feet and defends himself from Zitz' giant fist. Leo hits Zitz twice and stabs him once, but Zitz turns into a weight to defend himself from Leo's swords. After seeing he's not getting anywhere, Leo jumps into the sewer as Zitz returns to his normal form and jumps into the sewer.

"Hey, where's he going?" Yang asks, "Is he running?"

"He's going to force Zitz to fight on his terms." Blake says with a confident smile.

"Uh oh…" The realization sets in for Yang.

As Zitz scouts around for Leo, the turtle jumps out of a hole in the wall, stabs Zitz with his sword and jumps away behind the walls again. Leo tries this again, but Zitz grows a chainsaw tail, which Leo dodges.

"Come on, fight like a… turtle?" Nora says.

"He tried fighting him straight up, Nora. But that wasn't working, so he had to change the strategy." Blake explains. "Leonardo is a master strategist, and he knows that down here, he has the advantage."

"Zitz will have to keep his cool and wait for an opening if he wants to win." Pyrrha adds.

Zitz gives chase and finds that Leo has disappeared. Leo jumps out of the wall and hurts Zitz. Enraged, Zitz attacks the wall that Leo jumps back into through the hole.

"Well… so much for keeping his cool." Weiss says.

"He's gonna bring the whole sewer down!" Jaune comments.

This distraction allows Leo to swim through the water undetected…

"Zitz, look behind you!" Yang shouts to the screen.

"It's all over." Ren chimes in.

Leo slices Zitz in half. Zitz' top half slowly falls to the floor as Leo jumps through the hole again.

K.O.!

"Damn." Boomstick references Raphael's last word.

"Zitz was more than a match for Leonardo in a simple brawl, using his brutal arsenal to overpower him. But when it came to using the environment, Zitz couldn't handle Leonardo's ninja skills and his lack of training left him frustrated and unsure of what to do." Wiz explains.

"While Zitz is a strategist, he always relies on his brute force, and once Leo went in stealth mode and turned the tides, Zitz decided to just bring the whole sewer down. And c'mon, Leo fights all kinds of mutants and monsters at least once a week."

"Of all the toads, Zitz certainly stood the best chance with his technologically advanced weaponry, but while the Battletoads are known for accomplishing impossible odds, so are the Ninja Turtles. Leonardo made quick work of Zitz as soon as he had the chance.

"In the end, Zitz just needed to pull himself together."

The only people in the room who didn't seem surprised by the outcome were Blake, Ren and Pyrrha.

"The winner is Leonardo."

"Again."

"That episode was only 5 minutes. That has to be shortest one yet." Pyrrha says.

"At least we'll all get to bed at a reasonable hour." Weiss adds before Jaune hits play for the next episode.
