Wolf sat in secluded corner on the deck, taking another long drag off of the half-finished cigarette in his hands as he kept his gaze a particular trio of wolves; the Shaughnessy's. He hadn't seen them since the day he had become the feared leader of the Bad Guys and a distance memory of one of his first heists gone wrong kept coming back to haunt him.
Just then, Wolf saw his cell phone light up. Looking at the caller ID, he felt his anxiety spike.
Second floor, Guest bedroom on the right. Tony
Now, Wolf knew that this moment would come sooner or later.
Once he arrived at the room he was instructed to go to, Wolf knocked on the door. He heard Tony on the other side setting something up for them. Then the door opened and there stood Tony, a disapproving scowl on his face as he looked at the wolf who was responsible for nearly getting his family killed four years prior.
Four years prior, Wolf and his team, back when they were still going by the Bad Guys, had found themselves a nice little score. An armored truck carrying a sizable amount of loot. And in the end, it seemed like it would be pretty easy. There was a single guard sat in the passenger seat while the driver was signing the paperwork. Wolf remembered how his fingers gripped the wheel of his classic racer, turning to Mr. Shark and Mr. Snake before giving the signal, a firm nod.
The time for their latest heist had arrived.
The guard didn't have time to react as he was pulled from his seat and tossed aside like a piece of trash. Shark and Snake quickly climbed into the cab and started the engine. The driver came rushing out and jumped out of the way of the truck. The guard, who had managed to get his weapon out, fired at the truck.
Wolf had followed behind the truck, but he couldn't help but notice that the truck seemed to be leaking fuel. Suddenly, the underbelly of the truck burst into flames. Fearing for his friends, Wolf had ordered them to pull over, feeling this heist wasn't worth the risk. In the end, they fled, leaving the burning truck on the city street, unaware that this would prove to be a costly mistake.
When they arrived at their hideout, there was Tiffany Fluffit reporting it all.
"And in a shocking turn of events, the Bad Guy's latest heist almost turns deadly as their botched attempt to steal 20 million in cash resulted in a fiery end to their botched attempt!"
The screen then switched to an aerial view of where they had last left the truck, the fearsome fivesome each shocked at what they saw. Even Snake had to swallow the bile that was rising in his throat at the sight of the charred street and nearby shops whose windows had been blown in. It was then revealed that the fuel tank of the truck had been topped off earlier that day, which meant the armored truck had become a makeshift bomb.
But the tabby reporter didn't stop there.
"Here to offer commentary on the event, live from the Pentagon in Washington D.C. is U.S. Marine Corps Colonel Anthony Shaughnessy."
The five's breath stilled, wondering what of the heist warranted the Colonel's reaction. Well, four of them. Wolf was rather more attentive to the fact that he had not seen Tony's now greying face for…well it had been a while.
"Colonel, seeing as how the finances in the truck that was destroyed were inbound to Fort MacArthur in San Pedro, do you believe that the heist today was the Bad Guy's attempt to up the ante to further an anti-military agenda?"
"Hardly," Tony had responded.
"The Bad Guys, from what I have gathered, are impartial when it comes to their heists. Military or Civilian, if it makes them rich, they go for it. But that doesn't mean they haven't painted a target on their backs…one of them personal."
This caught the Bad Guy's attention.
"How do you mean, Colonel?"
"Three of the twenty or so individuals injured in that little stunt were my family. My Son Garth, his wife Lilly…"
Tony paused to take a shaky breath before continuing.
"And my grandson, Albus."
Tony's face then turned dead serious, Wolf noticing that the Colonel seemed to be suppressing a growl.
"Bad Guys, if you are watching, I want you to know my Grandson is only five-years-old…and you nearly ended his short life. You are lucky they all escaped with minor scrapes and burns, but if it was worse…there would have been no place on Earth you could hide from me."
And before signing off, Tony gave one final message to the stunned, and slightly fearful Bad Guys.
"So let this serve as a reminder…to watch your step."
The rest of the interview and subsequent news hardly registered with the five.
Not only had they broken their number one rule of no collateral damage…but they had drawn the ire of the U.S. Military.
From that day, the Bad Guys were then a named to be feared.
Before, people only looked at them in disgust or just shied away.
Now…everyone ran away from them and hid in fear.
But Wolf held that fear as he walked down the hall that seemed to stretch for miles.
And once he arrived at the room he was instructed to go to, Wolf knocked on the door. He heard Tony on the other side setting something up for them. Then the door opened and there stood Tony, a disapproving scowl on his face as he looked at the wolf who was responsible for nearly getting his family killed four years prior.
"Come in," Tony said, leading the younger wolf to a free chair he had set up.
And it went without saying that Wolf was beyond scared. And he had every right to be. Hell, he was all out ready to fall on his knee and beg Tony not to kill him, or whatever it was he was about to do.
"Tony, listen, I know you're angry about the whole truck thing…"
Wolf was suddenly silenced by Tony as he held up a hand.
"Relax," he exhorted, a neutral expression on his face as he went to stand in front of Wolf. But what he did next caught Wolf by surprise. In an instant, Tony dropped to one knee, his eyes piercing Wolf' as he fidgeted in his seat, no way of escape from Tony's arms as his hands gripped both arm rests.
"I'm not angry about that," he finally said after a long minute, his expression he same, but his voice softer.
"I know you Mason…I was angry. But after I calmed down, I knew it was something that even you and your crew wouldn't do."
For a brief moment, Wolf saw a smile tug at Tony's lips.
But unfortunately, it didn't last as the older wolf stood to his full height.
"What I AM angry about is a certain incident two years prior to that…when you were my protégé."
And there it was, the past Wolf wanted to forget.
A former Marine turned CIA agent who went rogue on a mission, thus betraying everything he swore to protect…
Because he wanted to save his own ass when he and his team got caught.
"You betrayed us, Mason," Tony said, not with an angry growl…but pained whine.
"You betrayed your country, the agency, your fellow agents, Richie…and ME."
At that moment, Wolf noticed that Tony had slowly started to lower himself back to his knees. But to the younger canine's confusion, he removed his tacky white and blue button up int eh process, leaving his aged, but still fit torso bare.
"So what to do?"
Now, while he tried his best, Wolf just couldn't help the bulge that was growing in his trunks. And much to his alarm, Tony, with a mischievous smile, started to remove them, the undulations of the younger wolf's hips making his actions difficult, but not impossible. And as Tony pulled them to mid-thigh, licking his lips at the sight of Wolf's erection; generously sized given the other wolf was several inches shorter than him and with a good, solid girth, he couldn't help but admire how it curved to Wolf's left, the head red, glistening and irresistible.
Holding it in his hand, Tony licked it slowly, lapping the pre-come, his eyes watching Wolf's face. The younger wolf was flushed and panting, totally turned on by Tony's odd punishment. Inch-by-inch Tony began to take it into his mouth, pausing to suck the head and pump the base. He delighted in the sounds of encouragement and pleasure from Wolf and used his other hand to keep the bi canine seated, certain the thrusting hips would lift the smaller wolf off the seat.
He set a steady rhythm, swallowing when the organ was at the back of his throat and sucking hard, tracing the vein as he bobbed his head up and down. He shifted slightly, smiling to himself as Wolf's toes literally curled with pleasure.
"Gonna...gonna cum...can't...hold it."
"Give me all you've got," Tony commanded as he briefly relinquished his prize, only to immediately take it fully into his mouth and began to massage it with his throat. The strangled yell was all the warning he needed as Wolf began to erupt. Pulse after pulse of his cream slid down Tony's demanding maw, the older wolf sucking insistently when the elixir began to slow to a trickle.
As Wolf slumped back, his eyes closed, Tony straddled his thighs, shoving his own trunks down enough to free his rampant erection, an impressive fourteen-inches-long and two inches thick. It was only going to take a few swift strokes. His climax hit as Wolf's eyes opened, giving a groan of pleasure as his cream sprayed over Wolf's well-built torso. It took a moment for Tony to recover from the unusually intense release. He smiled down at the younger man, pleased at the sight of his semen glinting through the gray fur of Wolf's body.
Wolf whined his disappointment as his shaft slid from Tony's hand.
"Fuck me, I am ready."
It took a moment for Tony to comprehend the quietly spoken command as Wolf straddled his body, presenting the taut cheeks as he began licking Tony's face. His mouth watering, Tony grabbed a bottle of lube that was nearby, smothering his fingers and slowly traced the furred declivity. The moan sounded like encouragement, and he circled the furled flesh of Wolf's entrance before pushing a single finger inside. It was tighter and hotter than any of his fantasies. It was obvious that Wolf had been having a dry spell for it had been a while.
Not wanting to hurt his lover, Tony pulled Wolf close to him.
"Wolf, come here."
Tony enveloped the younger wolf in his arms, kissing him tenderly, parting only enough to whisper against Wolf's lips, a tear running down his cheek as he did.
"You have been running in fear of me. But I have only be looking for you all this time to tell you…that I forgive you."
Wolf stilled at this, the younger canine forgetting that Tony was preparing to fuck him.
"I've only ever dreamed of hearing you say those words," he finally responded, a tear of his own falling with his voice that had dropped so low that Tony struggled to hear the last words and as he did his heart soared.
"Then you need to forgive yourself."
Wolf felt a tear of happiness run down his cheek.
"Show me how."
"I will," Tony said. He was willing to wait if he had to, but the pleading tone and look in Wolf's eyes crumbled his resolve instantly. However, if it was too much for his lover, he knew he had the self-control to stop. He already loved Wolf too much to purposely hurt him.
"On your side, babe."
He urged Wolf to face away from him and draw up his knees. Tony drenched three fingers in lube and began to stroke inside Wolf once more, slowly adding a fourth. Once the fingers were moving easily, he nudged his lover's stretched entrance with the head of his shaft. He slid a leg between Wolf's to keep the younger wolf open and an arm went around him to touch his lips.
"I love you, old man."
"I love you, too, Mason. Now relax, breathe out as I push forward."
It took incremental movements as Tony pressed the head of his dick past the younger wolf's resilient defenses as he kissed and petted Wolf ceaselessly. A sharp cry from Wolf and a groan from Tony heralded Wolf's guardian muscle yielding and Tony was able to gain entrance to the tight ass of his lover.
"Suck," Tony murmured, pushing his fingers into Wolf's mouth. He thrust them in and out as the bi canine obeyed and snaked his other arm around Wolf's waist to begin fondling his lax length. He tugged hard at the nipple as he urged his hips forward again.
There was a groan from around the fingers that still thrust into Wolf's mouth and Tony stilled. It took several small moves before he was buried to the knot. The feeling was exquisite; hotter and tighter than anything Tony had experienced before. He gave a gentle undulation and Wolf wailed around his thrusting digits.
As Tony began to masturbate his lover in earnest, he moved his fingers from Wolf's mouth to tug and pinch his lover's nipples and kept up the gentle thrusting into Wolf, keeping up a steady stream of encouragement, appreciation and endearments, thrilling when he finally felt Wolf pick up his rhythm and begin to push back against him. The cock in his hand was hard and wet and Tony pumped it vigorously, flicking his thumb over the slit repeatedly.
From outside the guest bedroom, Diane stood by the door and listened to Tony relieve his sexual frustration with her boyfriend. Now, she knew this provided closure for Wolf and Tony, but Diane now felt a certain jealousy toward Tony for being the one to pleasure her mate. Well, Diane wasn't going to stand for this. She was going to get laid, even if it was with some random guy here at the party or some guy off the streets.
But then, she remembered seeing Sam walk away with Cain to his study.
Now, Diane knew Sam only fancied women, so he and Cain were no doubt going to be talking some sort of business. And so, with a devious smile, Diane made her way to the bottom most part of the house.
Back in the room, Tony heard an increase in Wolf's breathing, felt the tension in the lithe body and the final swelling of the organ in his hand and pistoned his hips in short, feral snaps. As Wolf cried his name, his lover's cum erupted over Tony's hand. Tony thrusted hard and deep, holding the smaller body lover tightly against him, threw back his head and howled.
Wolf felt Tony's knot slip inside his ass, locking them together. The almost brutal contractions around his already sensitive member pushed him over the edge. He flooded the quivering channel with his cum, buried as deeply as possible. His hips began to thrust again as if ensuring Tony's semen would be too deep inside him to ever come out. Slowly both wolves began to recover from the intense experience. After a while Tony's knot decreased in size, letting him carefully withdraw from Wolf and snuggled around the younger wolf.
"I love you, Mason," he whispered.
"Love you. Thank you."
"When we've had a few minutes to recover I'll run us a bath. That'll help with the aches. Then we can rejoin the party."
"Sounds wonderful."
Tony smiled at the soft sigh.
"Never forget…Forgive Yourself, Mason," he whispered into Wolf's ear.
The only reply Wolf gave him was a shy nod, a sultry smile and he pulled Tony into a deep, passionate kiss.
Sam opened the door to his own private study, Cain following close behind as he did. And the moment stepped inside, Cain couldn't help but whistle at the finely dressed study; dark, rich mahogany wood panels, decorated in a vintage style pattern, more than likely late-Victorian or early Edwardian. To one side, a collection of various books and transcripts neatly placed within a modestly sized bookshelf. And on the other, a glass cabinet filled with a variety of knickknacks and artifacts procured over a long period of time.
Hearing the door close behind him, Cain turned to Sam, noticing out of the corner of his eye a drawing desk, on it a blueprint of an immaculate ship; measurements of nearly 900 feet long, four funnels, and designs for immaculate accommodations. Now, given the number of books written by Sam that he had read, Cain knew very well the devotion that the Irish-wolf took in making sure his research on the infamous Titanic was as accurate as possible…though his interest did not just pertain to Titanic, but also world history, from recent events to pre-history.
But as Sam made his way to large oak desk in the center of the room, a lone laptop set on top, Cain followed, arriving by Sam's side as the wolf pulled open a drawer, revealing, much to the Dark Wolf's amusement, a sort of mini-bar, four shot glasses on a small rack on one side, and three different decanters filled with three different types of whiskey and bourbon on the other. Pulling out two shot-glasses and one of the decanters, Sam poured both himself and Cain a drink.
"Kind of adding to the stereotype, aren't we?" Cain said with a laugh, obviously referring to the stereotype that the Irish were, as he put it, "prone to overindulgence."
"Fuck off," Sam laughed back as he handed Cain a shot.
"Laphroig," he said with a smile, "100-year-old cask strength from Islay…what should we drink too?"
"Oh, um," Cain answered, releasing a loud sigh as he wracked his brain.
"Fuck King Bear," Cain said, earning a smile from Sam who clinked his shot with Cain's.
"Fuck him hard," the Irish-wolf responded with a laugh before they both downed their shots, the strong burn making both wolves release a huff of satisfaction.
"Fuck, that's a good whiskey," Cain said as he handed his shot back to Sam to refill. But as Sam poured the both of them another shot, he couldn't help but bring a concern he had with Cain's vendetta against King Bear.
"Doesn't it worry you that King Bear is going to find out about your brother is helping you bring him down?" he asked.
Cain shrugged.
"Sometimes, but I'm more concerned for little Matthew. I mean..." the dark wolf pulled out a picture of Able and his family.
"Their lives seem so perfect, so why is God letting such things happen to my brother and Matthew?"
Oh, that's a good question, Sam thought to himself. And while he wanted to offer some words of comfort for Cain, he knew said wolf was not one for talking about Christ or anything involving faith. Hell, he wasn't that much either, but he still believed…just kept it to himself more often than naught. So, the Irish wolf placed his now empty shot glass down and turned to Cain.
"What can I say, Cain? Shit happens," he said.
"Yeah, it does," Cain replied, only to surprise the Irish wolf by punching him in the face.
"And I need to take my frustrations out on someone!"
Sam laughed and got back up for a good old fashion Irish rumble. But as the two wolves fought, Diane was very surprised to learn that Cain and Able were working together to bring down King Bear. It was also quite a shocker that Sam knew about this as well. So with this new information, the sexy vixen turned to find Wolf to let him know about what she learned.
Humphrey Chambers sighed in content.
Here he was, relaxing in the hot tub with his beautiful wife Kate, taking in the relaxing aura of the rhythmic pulses of Webbs's beats, and tranquil stars overhead. And for Humphrey, he always enjoyed being able to relax after a long touring season. Now, he loved what he did, getting on stage, making people laugh, but at the end of the day he was always ready to spend time with his family, including his lovely wife, one of arms wrapped around his waist as she nuzzled her head into his well defined chest. Humphrey blushed as he took in the sight of his wife in her tight fitting green two-piece suit, allowing her to show off her still very youthful curves, the top barley concealing her busty d-cup tits. Heck, they were both pushing 35, but both could not believe that the other had retained the same body type as when that had started dating in high school.
Kate, through her sunglasses, and under her tan sunhat, stealthily took in Humphrey's muscular physic. While he wasn't as buff as some of the other guys at the party, he still had a well toned body, which, unfortunately for her, was covered in a black surfing shirt and navy trunks. If it weren't for the crowd, Kate would have shown her love for Humphrey right there. But for now, she, as well as her husband, were content with just holding each other for the time being. Until...
"Mom, Dad?!" a very familiar voice called out. Removing each other from their current embrace, Humphrey and Kate looked up to see their oldest son, well in more specific terms, oldest CHILD, Andrew, standing there, his fur already damp from being in the pool, thus allowing some of the female, and some males present to take in the twenty-year-old's impressive physique. By his side, Andrew was joined by a beautiful white and gold female, her stunning white and gold fur accentuated beautifully by a lovely gold bikini. This was Andrew's girlfriend, the daughter of Nars and Carnery Weather, Magril, who had her arm wrapped around her boyfriend's shoulder, who respectively had his arm wrapped around her waist. Both were smiling broadly at the two older wolves sitting in the hot tub.
"Stinky, sweetie!" exclaimed Kate as she jumped out of the hot tub to embrace her son, who rolled his eyes at the less than flattering nickname he could not escape since pup-hood. Humphrey soon followed, taking the two towels that had been lying nearby and draping them over his shoulder. Heading up to his son and Magril, Humphrey offered his hand in a fist bump, which was gladly returned by Stinky.
"What are doing here, son?" Humphrey inquired.
"I thought finals weren't until Wednesday?"
Stinky had just finished his freshman year at Alberta University, where he was studying to become a naval historian. In fact, he had spoken with Sam multiple times during his studies about key naval dates. Upon hearing the question, Stinky smiled broadly at his parents.
"Actually," he began, "I was doing so well, that my professor's actually let me take my exams early, and, naturally, I aced 'em," he said with pride. Humphrey and Kate smiled proudly at their son, and were intrigued with what a newly arrived Sam and Dax, the former of the two the group was surprised to see had a fresh black eye, had to add.
"Plus, one of his other professors, at the urging of an 'anonymous source,' offered him an internship at the Arizona Memorial in Oahu this summer," Dax said, surprising Humphrey and Kate. But, after taking a moment to recover from the news, Humphrey just placed a gentle hand on his friend's shoulder.
"Thanks Dax," Humphrey said with a smile, the smile returned with a nod, followed by teasing statement.
"And, of course, I only did it so I could tag along and see Hawaii."
The group chuckled at this statement, but were soon interrupted by another voice.
"I can't believe it!" Turning to the sound of the new voice, the five wolves were met with the sight of four other wolves coming to join them. Two of them were Runt and Anna, while the other two were Stinky's twins sister, Claudette, and her boyfriend, Magril's brother, Fleet, all completely soaked, a clear sign that they had been in the pool.
"Runt, Claudette!" Stinky yelled, running to his other siblings and bringing them into a huge group hug, while their parents, Richie, Sam, Magril and Fleet, laughed at the warm family moment. The group then decided to wander over to the bar area where the Bennetts continued to show off their skills to catch up. A few minutes into the chat, Kate decided to strike up a conversation with Magril.
"So, Magril, how have your studies been going?" Magril beamed at her mother-in-law, happy that she was taking a genuine interest into her studies in artistry.
"T-things are g-g-going q-quit-te w-well, K-Kate, t-thank you f-for a-ask-king," Stinky smiled lovingly at his mate, happy that her speech impediment did not deter her from trying to make conversation with her extended family. But his smile only grew wider the moment he saw a soaking wet grizzly, just as broad chested as any male, and with a slight gut but still surprisingly fit, walking toward him along with a short-stacked porcupine, the young rodent clearly not bothering to be modest as her busty c-cup tits bounced in sexy mini-bikini.
"BRENT, MY BROOO!" Stinky called out as he greeted the grizzly, who towered over the wolf by a good half-foot. Upon hearing Stinky's exclamation, the group laughed warmly as they saw Stinky's best friend and roommate, Brent Scott, lift his favorite bro off the ground in one of his famous bear hugs. And as the two friends reunited, Bret's sexy porcupine friend and "life-coach", Agnus Everdeen, couldn't help but send a seductive wink toward Magril, a secret code between the two that they and their boys would definitely be getting together for one of their "study sessions" later on.
"AGNUS, MY HOME GIRL!" Stinky then shouted as Brent set him down, the wolf being careful to watch the head full of quills on Agnus as he pulled her into a tight embrace. But as Humphrey just stood and smiled at the reunion of friends who only just saw each other a day ago, he couldn't help but notice that Brent now had a smitten look on his face.
Following the clearly distracted grizzly's gaze, Humphrey let a knowing, but sad smile form on his muzzle as he Brent tracked the movements of Canue, the sexy daughter of King Bear, along with his sexy new concubine Shenzi flirting with Roy and few other young males at the party. And as Humphrey observed, Brent stared with longing at the young female, a clear sign that he craved her…BADLY.
"So, Mr. Physics Nerd, how'd the finals go for your nerd class?" Runt added into the conversation, clearly teasing his older brother, who just so happened to be working towards a doctorate in Theoretical Physics. Stinky,
"If you must now, ya big dork," Stinky responded with a mixture of teasing and annoyance in his voice, "I nearly aced it…except for one question!"
"Which question, bro?" Brent inquired, bringing himself back from ogling Canue to send his best bro a concerned look.
"I had to find the solution to…" Stinky paused momentarily to pull out his phone, having taken a screenshot of the formula in question to help him study. And the moment he showed everyone in the group, their eyes went wide in horror, especially since none of them knew a thing about theoretical physics.
"Holy shit," Sam mumbled under his breath.
"What in the Sam Hell is that?" Dax added in, his own jaw practically hitting the floor.
"Looks like something thy got off the ship at Roswell," Fleet added in, unaware that just behind the group, Vitaly, who was heading over to the bar to get another Smirnoff and Americano for himself and Gia, looked over Humphrey's shoulder, the burly Russian rolling his eyes, as if the answer was obvious, before adding his two cents to the conversation.
"The answer is minus eight pi alpha," he butted in, the sudden intrusion making the others jump a bit. But once the startled group settled down, Sam sent the tiger a disbelieving look.
"How the hell did you know that Vitaly?"
Vitaly merely shrugged as he answered.
"Here, I am Stripper. In former Soviet Union, I am physicist. Leningrad Politechnika…Go Polar Bears!"
And without another word, the tiger was off, leaving the group in stunned silence.
"Hey, aren't you Humphrey Chambers?"
Being pulled from his stunned stupor, Humphrey and the others turned their attention toward the owner of the new voice, with Humphrey meeting the beaming face of Wolf, his eyes wide in glee as he made his way over to the comedian, who after taking amount, returned the smile.
"Yes, I Am…Mason right?" Humphrey inquired as he offered his hand to Wolf, who eagerly took.
"I thought so…and just Wolf is fine," Mason responded, a loud, boisterous laugh scaping his throat as the two were joined by Richie, the German shepherd, despite the smile on his face, eyed the wolf before him with great trepidation.
"I gotta say, you are hilarious, my man," Wolf continued, finally releasing Humphrey's hand after a solid minute.
"Me and my girlfriend actually got to see you in L.A. last year."
"That's great to hear," Humphrey responded with a genuine chuckle, "always happy to meet a fan. But I got to say, for me it's a real thrill to meet THE Mr. Wolf of the group FORMERLY known as the Bad Guys."
"I wouldn't be TOO thrilled, Humph."
This last bit came from Richie, who Wolf had just now noticed was standing not too far from him and Humphrey, the former criminal feeling pretty timid when he noticed the German Shepherd glaring at him.
"H-hey Richie," Wolf stammered as he nervously scratched the back of his neck, "how ya been?"
"Hanging in there," Richie responded, the scowl on his face growing by the second. But, upon noticing the nervousness radiating from his stepbrother, Riche sent Humphrey a soothing smile.
"Hey Humph, would you mind if I talked to Wolf in private?"
"No, go right on ahead," Humphrey quickly responded, leaving a very reluctant Wolf alone with Richie, who then guided him to a more secluded part of the deck.
But after a few moments of just looking at the cowering Wolf, Richie's frown soon turned into a small smile as he addressed his fellow canine.
"I already talked to Tony. And I just want to say…I'm just glad your back."
What happened next, Wolf did not expect, but he was not about to complain as Richie pulled him into a tight embrace, the two canines just holding each, not saying a single word as they poured everything they had into that one hug.
While this was going on, little Matt was still in the private study, waiting for his timeout to be over. However, he wasn't alone. Perrito had left the party to join his best friend to keep him company. Just then, he heard the sound of metal making contact with the window. Now, Matt had no idea who was outside the window, but he quickly recognized the voice of a certain wolf who worked for his uncle coming from the other side of the window.
"They're going to rob this place," Matt gasped, his shock shared by his trembling friend. Perrito quickly hid under the desk, begging Matt to join him, but the little wolf pup refused. He started looking around, he spied a BB gun in a box next to a bookshelf. He picked it up and took aim, as Hench opened the window, Matt pulled the trigger.
POP!
"Yeow!" Hench grabbed his throat and fell backwards. Matt rushed to the window to see if his uncle's partner had run away, but the was his first mistake. The minute he reached the window, Hench reached in and pulled him through by the scruff of his neck. Little Matt tried to scream for him mother and father, but Hench covered his mouth and took him way.
"You little bastard!" Hench growled at Matt.
"Kako should have killed you and your bitch of a mother at the Brew House that day!"
Perrito remained under the desk, too afraid to even move. The little Chihuahua began to pray that nothing would happen to Matt.
It didn't take long before the furious wolf reached his van, where Joey had already finished loading some of the stolen items into the van he and Hench had come in.
"Who's the kid?" Joey asked Hench.
"Boss's nephew," he replied. Then, Hench grabbed Matt by the neck and yanked him up.
"You oughtn't not messed around with me, Matt. I'm very dangerous."
Matt practically choked as Hench's kept a tight grip on his throat and lifted him off the ground.
"What are we going to do with him?" Joey asked Hench.
Hench smiled a big toothy grin. He knew exactly what to do with Matt. Not only would it traumatize the pup, it would also make them very rich.
"We'll hold him for ransom. Stick him in an oil drum once we get back, and if Able doesn't pay..."
Hench looked down at Matt who now had tears in his eyes.
"We light you fire."
Joey smiled.
"Good plan, Hench," he said, then quickly bound Matt's hands with his handkerchief, while Hench threw him into the back seat of the van. Then, both crooks jumped into the front seat, ready to leave.
Hench turned the key, but instead of the van turning over, it only made a grinding sound. The angry wolf began pumping the gas pedal as he tried the key again, but still nothing. It was really not looking good.
Turning to Joey, Hench said, "Check it."
Joey hoped out and opened the hood. He looked at all the tubes, connections, intake values, but there was no sign of anything wrong. The mangy fox then noticed that the spark plug was very old.
"Hench, bring me the spare spark plug," he called.
Hench looked over his shoulder to see Matt trying to chew through the handkerchief.
"Stop that! If you try and leave, I'll break your legs," he warned, then hopped out and joined Joey at the front.
Well, even though Matt was scared, he wasn't going to let this jerk kidnap him. With his little teeth, he finally freed his hands. Opening the door, Hench looked up to see Matt jump out. The wolf rushed around shouting.
"Joey, help me catch him!"
With both crooks coming both from the front and behind, the little pup did the one thing he could do...Run! Matt ran for an old boarded up house that was to be torn down soon, he remembered his favorite Christmas movie and it's sequel about a little boy who was left home alone. There had to be something he could use to fight back with.
As soon as Matt reached the dilapidated house, he began desperately looking for a way in, desperately hoping for a miracle Hench and his fox crony closed in on him. Luckily, he did have to look long as he saw a hole in one of the walls just big enough for him to slip through. And not a moment to soon as Hench and Joey came upon the spot he was standing.
"WHERE'D THE LITTLE BRAT GO?!" Joey shouted, his wild eyes looking around erratically, his breathing heavy as his nerves were at a whole other level. Hench, annoyed himself, just glared.
"He's around here somewhere Joey," Hench said through clenched teeth, his own ire raising by the second as he looked around desperately for his boss's pesky nephew, both out of fear for himself, but also Matt. Truth was, he didn't want to hurt Matt. All the threats he made were more of a scare tactic to try to keep the kid under control. He knew that if anything happened to Matt, Cain would have his head. But, luckily for him, and Joey wouldn't have to look far as a loud clattering sound was heard coming from inside the house.
Wasting no time, the two crooks ran to the front of the house, looking up to see Matt staring down out them from the second floor with a smug smile on his face. The fact that this kid had the guts to tease them like this sent Joey over the edge as he moved to kick down the door, only to be held back by Hench.
"Wait," the wolf told the fox calmly.
"Never underestimate children, they're full of surprises."
"This ain't his house," Joey argued, "the kids running scared. He doesn't have a plan."
Hench just looked at Joey with a tired expression.
"Would you let me handle this?"
At first wanting to argue further with his cohort, Joey eventually thought better off and made grand sweeping gesture for Hench to proceed, and exasperated look on his face as he did so. Shooting his partner one more annoyed look, Hench stepped forward and, while managing a fake smile, brought his hands up to his muzzle.
"SONNY!"
"YEAH?!" Matt called back.
"HEY BUDDY, LISTEN! NOTHING WOULD THRILL ME MORE THEN TO SHOOT YOU! OFFING MY BOSS'S NEPHEW ISN'T GOING TO MEAN THAT MUCH TO ME! UNDERSTAND?!"
"UH HUH!" Matt called back, nodding his head. Seeing that he was getting somewhere with the kid, Hench continued his little pitch.
"BUT SINCE JOEY AND I ARE IN HURRY, I'LL MAKE A DEAL WITH; YOU COME ON DOWN, AND I'LL TAKE YOU BACK TO YOUR PARENTS WITHOUT A SINGLE SCRATCH ON YOU!"
"YOU PROMISE?!" Matt called, the innocent comment causing a smug smirk to form on Hench's muzzle as he crossed his chest in an X motion.
"CROSS MY HEART AND HOPE TO DIE!"
Now, Matt may have been four, but he wasn't stupid. He knew better than to trust his uncle to keep his word. But, as he entered the house, Matt had noticed several things such as loose floorboards, toolboxes, and several other hazards he could use to teach Hench and Joey a lesson. And one, or several of those things, that he could use to get started was a pile of bricks by his side. And so, with a devilish smile, Matt called down to Hench.
"OKAY!"
Looking to Joey with a smug smile, Hench found himself laughing with the fox over the kid's gullible nature. But, just as Joey looked up toward the window, he noticed something falling toward the ground, or rather, his face. And before Joey knew, he felt like he had been hit by a freight train as the hard object landed on his face, cutting his forehead as he stumbled around before falling to the ground in daze. And when Hench saw what had caused Joey such anguish, he was livid.
"YOU WANNA THROUGH BRICKS KID?!" he yelled, his eyes burning with anger as a demented smile stretched across his features, "GO AHEAD AND THROUGH ANOTHER ONE!"
"Hench, noooo," a disoriented Joey slurred as he attempted to regain his bearings, only to receive another brick to the face courtesy of Matt. Now, Joey must have been hit hard if he thought Hench would show some concern for him. But instead, Hench just kicked his leg, a signal for him to get up.
"Come on Joey, get up, the kid ain't backing down. You take the front. I'll go through the back. We'll corner him in the middle."
With that, Hench left Joey alone on the ground, the poor fox have barely registered the plan as he stumbled to his feet, slowly making his way to the large wooden door at the front of the house, unaware of the house of horror he and his boss were about to enter.
Back at the house, Wolf, after having his heart-to-heart with Richie, started making his way around the pool, hoping to find Diane somewhere in the crowd in order to get his rocks off. But, lucky for him, he didn't have to look far as the vixen made her way towards her boyfriend. But as Wolf observed, the breathless vixen had a great look of concern on her face.
"Diane, what's wrong," he asked, placing a steadying hand on the winded Diane's shoulder until she caught her breath. But, rather than answer, Diane pulled Wolf away from the crowd to a side garden, a ten foot hedge offering a little privacy as the fox led the wolf to a dimly lit corner, unaware that they were being followed by a very observant fox.
And for once, Diane was happy that the area was not filled with horny party goers.
"Ok Diane," Wolf said with a huff of annoyance, slightly winded himself, "what's the big idea. Clearly you don't want me to fuck your brains out, so…!"
Wolf was suddenly silenced by Diane, who with great speed, wrapped her hands around his muzzle, snapping it shut, though this did not stop his muffled ramblings.
"SHHH!" Diane shushed, quickly looking around to make sure they were alone. And once she was satisfied, she finally released Wolf's muzzle.
"Wolf, something strange is going on."
At that moment, Wolf went from annoyed to confused.
"What are talking about, Diane?" he inquired. Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves, Diane answered.
"Sam O'Brian and Cain Aldan are working together to take down King Bear."
Wolf was stunned to hear this. But at that moment, he thought maybe Diane had misread whatever the situation was. But, upon noticing that she appeared quite adamant, Wolf decided that he needed more clarification.
"How do you know?"
Before Diane could answer, a new voice joined the conversation.
"Because she was looking for Sammy to fuck her after she heard you and Tony getting it on."
Both Diane and Wolf looked behind them to see none other than the newest addition to the Zootopia crime scene, Nick Wilde himself. And if they had taken the time to study him, which they didn't, they would have found him in a green Hawaiian shirt, khaki swim trunks, and black flipflops, a clear sign that he was here for the party. But, given the fact that his serious expression read business, there was an ulterior motive for his presence.
But at that moment, Diane didn't care as she stared at the fox she had not seen since her days as the Crimson Paw.
"Nicky?" she inquired with a gasp, the vixen stepping toward the tod, said tod meeting her halfway, a small smile forming on his muzzle as they finally met.
"Hey…cousin."
"COUSIN!" Wolf exclaimed, the sudden outburst making Diane wince as she turned back to face her boyfriend.
"Yes," she began, although hesitantly, "Nick is my cousin on my mother's side…his grandfather is my great uncle. He also helped me with a few heists when I was the paw."
"I think you might be familiar with the Zumpango Heist?" Nick inquired with a playful grin.
"Which one?" Wolf inquired with laugh, which Diane joined, despite herself. But after taking a moment to regain her bearings, Diane sent a cautious glare towards Nick.
"What are you doing here, Nicky?"
"Sammy contacted me about a year ago. Said he found some evidence that Axis was planning something big. And not too long ago I got news that King Bear had been attacked by the Lord of Prey, which is why I and gramps are here. Then I found out Winston called you in as well."
"Wow, you kind of need a road map for this," Wolf said, trying to wrap his head around everything he had been told.
"So wait, does that mean you're here to stop Sam and Cain as well as the Lords of Prey?" Wolf inquired, confused out of his head. But the moment Nick answered, he was even more confused.
"No."
"Nick," Diane added in with an exasperated sigh as she pinched the bridge of her nose, "you better start making some fucking sense her in the next two seconds."
"Look," Nick immediately responded, holding up his hands in defense, "Sammy has a spy in King Bear's ranks. From what he heard…"
Turning to Wolf, Nick placed a gentle, but firm hand on his shoulder.
"It was King Bear, not Cain, who set you guys up for that heist. The rep he sent was under orders to SAY he was working for Cain."
Both Wolf and Diane were shocked at this, the canine and vixen's eyes wide in amazement. But after taking a moment to register what he had heard, Wolf's face quickly contorted into anger.
"That son of a bitch!" he growled, causing Diane to place her hand on the shoulder not occupied by her half-brother's.
"So, King Bear is Axis?' Wolf then theorized, his eyes still burning with anger, only for his confusion and annoyance to skyrocket.
"NO…he is Axis's target."
Nick paused as he stepped away from the confused couple.
"Look," he finally said after a moment, "all I know is everyone is involved; the C.I.A., S.U.C.M., Lords of Prey, the Zootopia Mob, Cain, Sam…Axis has them all under their thumb. And not just that, but Shendu as well."
"The Spirit Dargon?" Diane asked with a gasp, the vixen now trembling at hearing the name of a former client who had PROMSIED to skin her after failing him in the past.
"Yeah," Nik responded sadly, "which is why I had to call in some extra help. To put it simply, it's all a cluster fuck."
Nick paused once again as he gave the duo before him a concerned look.
"But I think the main objective is to get to King Bear…for whatever reason, well we just have to bide our time. The longer we wait, the more things will start to come into focus. Until then, just keep doing what you're doing."
Looking to Wolf, Nick stepped forward, producing a folded piece of paper.
"These are some places the O'Connors go to during the week…I'd say its time to go job hunting."
This was said with a teasing smirk, accompanied by a mischievous wink. And upon seeing the smirk returned, Nick turned to Diane, his smile now very sultry as he closed the distance between himself and his cousin.
"And I know what you've been doing…dirty girl."
What happened next, Wolf did not expect, but in the end, he was far from complaining the moment he saw Diane and Nick enter a heated make-out session, their tongues dancing as their hands roamed all over their bodies. But before the duo could get too into it, a new voice sounded.
"Nicky, I thought I was going to entertain you?"
Looking in the direction of the voice, Wolf and Diane's eyes widened to see Eve standings twenty feet away…completely topless, her huge, gravity defying Double D tits on full display.
"If you'll excuse," Nick said with a chuckle, shocking Wolf and Diane even more by dropping his trunks to expose his raging boner, "Eve was going to give me a proper Jasper City welcome."
Needless to say, Wolf and Diane did not need to be told twice.
Not two seconds after Wolf and Diane were out of sight, Nick moaned as he felt the heavenly sensation of Eve wrapping her massive tits around his cock, the soft fur on her mammaries feeling like a soft pillow as she began to move the huge globes up and down his shaft.
"Oh Fuck, that's good," Nick groaned.
"I guess you like that," Eve chuckled, kissing the tip of his cock as it poked out from her cleavage. However, one thing Eve did not know about Nick is that he did not like to be teased, especially when his cock was encased between a pair of luscious breasts.
Before Eve knew, Nick had taken a firm hold of her head with both hands and, without missing a single beat, forced his entire member down Eve's throat, the tight passage causing Nick to let out a loud moan of pleasure as he began to force Eve down on his cock, her muzzle angle din such a way that it disappeared in her cleavage.
"Now that's hot," Nick moaned as he ruthlessly began to thrust up into Eve's face.
At this point, Eve had pushed her thong aside, frantically fish hooking her pussy as Nick fucked her face. And for the next several minutes Nick, after several harder thrusts, hilted his dick in Eve's muzzle as he emptied his balls down her throat, filling her belly with a salty, the fox withdrawing after ten seconds. And as he did, three final, powerful spurts overflowed Eve's cheeks. One of the shots was so powerful that two strings shot out of her nose.
The moment Eve was able to pull of the now softening dick, she was met with a surprise when Nick, tilting her face up to meet his, captured her lips in a loving, tongue-filled kiss, the todd tasting his own cum as they began to make out, unaware that the whole episode had been watched by a very horny Diane and Wolf.
Eve then pulled out of the kiss and lifted up one her breasts to Nick. He could see a big droplet of milk forming and he quickly latched onto and drank Eve's tasty milk. The sexy milf wolf used one hand to hold Nick as he nursed from her, while the other jacked him off.
After Nick had his fill, he and Eve went there separate ways.
Meanwhile, at the Bar, Max sat with Rex and Cody, sipping at a mug of beer as they watched the others have a good time. They even smiled at the sight of Daniel, dancing with the Taka Brothers, Kovu and Nuka letting their bi flags fly as they grinded against the surprisingly relaxed Daniel. In fact, The three males found it rather nice to see the usual timid and reserved Daniel come out of his shell.
And not far from the canine/lion trio were, Elise was having a much tamer time with the Bennet's three daughter, the young ladies dancing beside the lovely harem on Max Fray, each dancing with a few handsome men, or beautiful women, the group clearly having a great time. Kayla and Kris were even quite thankful that Belle O'Connor had ordered a babysitter to watch their children, thus giving the others a night off. And as for Judy and Jack, who had tagged along as well, they were more interested in sucking face in a secluded corner rather than dancing.
Hell, one would assume the two were solely interested in doing what rabbits do best.
But, back with the Chambers group, Brent noticed Canue sauntering up to him, a sultry smile on her lips as the daughter of King Bear without warning, grabbed Brent by the wrist before pulling him towards the DJ equipment. Within minutes, the whole pool was hooting and hollering at the sight of the two young ursine moving to the beat of the music.
But no one said a word...
Not even Canue's parents, particularly Belle, who could only smile as Canue began to twerk against the crotch of the awkwardly shuffling, and wildly blushing Brent, whose heartbeat skyrocketed as a chorus of cheers, wolf-whistles, and catcalls from the entire space, hit his ears.
But as the party continued to get louder and wilder, Max's attention was soon drawn to King Bear as he walked towards the bar. And as he did, Max couldn't help the deep scowl that formed on his lips. But even upon taking notice of this, King Bear wasn't bothered. In truth, he had come to accept that there would be associates who only put up with him, not out of loyalty, but self-preservation. But it still satisfied him to know he had power over them.
"Enjoying the party, Max?"
Max let out a dry chuckle.
"Certainly, Alex," Max responded with a sly smile, only to notice that King Bear seemed to be studying the fox with a mixture of curiosity…and caution. Suddenly feeling very uncomfortable, Max, with a flick of his head, motioned King Bear to follow him, the larger ursine silently agreeing as they made their way to a more secluded area, specifically in the empty foyer inside the house.
"Have Nicky's boys heard anything else?" King Bear inquired as he puffed at a freshly lit cigar, his voice low and his gaze neutral, his question immediately causing Max to feel very tense.
"All I know is they need a little extra help."
King Bear Scoffed at this.
"What help could they need?" the bear inquired, slightly irked that that was all Max had to say, the fox offering a shrug in response, his answer said in such a nonchalant way that King Bear was visibly nervous by its implications.
"Nicky's had to call in the Five."
This caught King Bear's attention as he leaned in.
"Why?" he asked, his voice soft, but still loud enough for the fox to hear the worry in it.
"It would seem…" Max began, his voice showing no sigh of nervousness himself, as evident by the fact that he was still casually sipping his drink.
"Shendu is involved."
At that moment, King Bear's eyes went wide, the bear crime boss immediately realizing what Max was getting at.
And it was Max who voiced his worries, with a bit of smug satisfaction.
"And I don't think he's ever gotten over the fact that you planned to kill him during your last little purge?"
"He Hasn't," the ursine replied with a growl.
"the old dragon is known for holding a grudge."
Meanwhile, Able sat in the empty kitchen, his head hung low as he replayed the scene in the private study over and over in his mind, from his son's crying to his heartbroken, tear-filled eyes. Now, Able was not above putting his foot down when his son got out of hand, but it still pained him to see the four-year-old pup so downtrodden. And given the fact that he was still undergoing treatment for his condition didn't help. But, in the end, at least he could say he still had his son after…recent events, and not just the Brew house, but what made him seek out a loan from King Bear and his brother help in the first place.
"Quite a little shindig, isn't it Chief?"
Speak of the devil.
"And luckily one that has not turned sour from your presence, brother," Able responded, staring daggers at the dark wolf, who did not seem at all phased by his brother's hostility or the blood dripping from his nose. Eventually, Cain had seated himself at the center island perpendicular to Able, who to his own surprise, found the crime boss looking at him with a soft gaze, which was very unlike him.
"Matt is more like his father than you realize," he finally said, making Able's fur stand on end at the mentioning of his son, which did not go unnoticed by Cain, who merely went on with his statement as he wipe his bleeding nose with a napkin.
"Stubborn, hard-headed, quick temper…but a fighter."
The last bit made Able's breath hitch, as he knew the direction that the wolf to his left was going. A very painful subject that made the white wolf's heart ache at the mere thought of.
"How long has it been?"
Able hesitated, unsure if he could bring himself to relive everything that led up to such a joyous moment. But, despite his better judgment, he answered in a low whisper.
"A short time, but still long for a father."
Cain let out a content hum.
"A short time since a three-year-old pup was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer that has a 10% survival rate. Treatment for which that could not be paid by a policeman's pension and forcing said policeman to seek a loan from one of the most powerful crime boss's in Alberta."
"You don't have to remind me," Able seethed, his teeth barred as he looked at the marble counter of the island, his fists clenched as he fought back tears brought on by the memory of the moment he sold his principles and his soul for his son. But, to his further surprise, and slight annoyance, Cain let out a deep, throaty laugh.
"Able, you misunderstand, I'm not trying to rub it in. The devotion you have shown to your family, particularly your son, is something I find quite admirable. Something I wish I had shown more of with Roy. To me, a man who doesn't show such devotion to his family isn't really a man. In fact, in the coming months, I will no longer be needing you in my organization."
This caught Able's attention, the younger male looking to his older brother with a bewildered look, said wolf giving a small, genuine smile as he let out a nervous chuckle. And it was only after a moment of awkward silence that he finally spoke his mind once again.
"Now, you recall the condition of our arrangement when Matt was first diagnosed?"
"How could I forget," Able scoffed, remembering that day like it were yesterday.
"You pay for Matt's treatment and one day, a day that may never come, you will call upon me to do a service for you…so has that time come?"
"Not necessarily."
Cain looked at his brother in a mixture of confusion and annoyance, wondering what kind of game he was playing. Cain, with a small shrug, started to clarify.
"It could be nothing, but I have been having some issues with a client of mine. He pays me for 'clean ups' that need to be done in his organization. But recently, I have been finding his payments turning up a bit light. Now, this only just started a few months ago, but the patterns are too consistent."
Cain paused briefly, leaning over to place a firm, but to Able's surprise, still gentle hand on his shoulder.
"I may need you to get to Redshore for me."
Able's eyes grew wide as hen's eggs at that moment.
"New Jersey?" he inquired in shock, clearly at a loss for words, his mouth opening and closing like a fish as he tried to form the words in his head, his wide eyes, dancing across the countertop as he tried to make sense of what he had heard. And in the end, there was only one thing he could say.
"Who is this client?"
Cain gave a smile, before a pensive expression took its place.
"All in good time," he said.
"And before you even go there, don't worry about Matt's treatments, and don't worry about Rachel's work. If you decide to take it, she will get a call about a great job opportunity. As for Matt, well I have an old contact in Redshore who is one of the cities best physicians. I can fly her in for consultation, all you have to do is give the word."
Cain then produced an envelope, slapping it down on the counter and sliding to Able. At first surprised, Able hesitantly took the envelope, carefully opening it to reveal a letter. Upon opening the letter, another piece of paper fell onto the table. Paying it no mind for the moment, Able read the letter, his eyes growing wide at what it said.
Able,
Your services have been greatly appreciated, but know it is time to go our separate ways. But first I need you for a secret mission.
In Red Shore City, Jimmy Crystal is believed to be skimming money that he owes me, so if you find any evidence proving this to be true, report it to me.
After completing said job, I hereby absolve you of your commitment to my Organization.
Enclosed is your severance pay.
Good Luck, Cain
P.S. If you find anything on Elsa's best friend, Amelia Crystal, even better.
Picking up the other piece of paper, Able's eyes shot open to see a check worth eight figures. Looking to Cain, Able could see a full, genuine smile on his brother's muzzle. And to his own surprise, Able found himself smiling back. However, his smile fell the moment he saw Cain's fall.
"But be warned," he said as Able placed the check and letter into his pocket on the inside of his uniform jacket, "If you fail me, if Crystal finds out, you take the fall alone."
At that moment, Able took on an expression of deep determination, giving a firm nod, a commitment not just to Cain…but to an old friend of Rachel's. At that moment, the scene was interrupted by a knock at the kitchen door. At first confused, Able rose to his feet and made his way toward the door, only for his confusion to grow as he saw a pizza delivery man standing before him with a single box.
"Got a large cheese for ya man," he said in a thick surfer dude accent. Before Able could even respond, a thick Irish brogue sounded from behind him.
"Thanks, Salty," Sam said, handing the wolf a fifty as he took the pizza.
"Keep the change."
And as soon as the door closed, Sam could see Able standing beside him with a confused look on his face. With a warm smile, Sam handed the pizza to Able.
"Since he didn't get any thanks to Roy, I figured Matt might like his own cheese pizza."
At that moment, Able confusion turned to admiration as he looked at Sam, the Irish-wolf giving Able a pat on the shoulder before rejoining the party. But rather than stay, Able decided to take the pizza to Matt, who would probably be more than happy to have such a generous meal to himself.
But just as he opened the door, Able was stunned to see the room empty, not a trace of his son to be found. Quickly placing the pizza box on a table by the door, Able began to desperately search the room for Matt. And it was then that he noticed the window was open…when it wasn't before. Running quickly to the window, Able looked out and around, quickly noticed his son's Batman water wings lying on the ground.
"He's been taken," came the soft but fear stricken voice of Perrito. The little pup started crying as he grabbed Able's leg, apologizing for not notifying anyone until now.
"Matt," he whispered to himself, his panic rising by the second, unaware that his boy had managed to hold his own in the decaying house not far away. And Joey was the first to learn this the hard way as he stood himself up on the hard concrete floor of the houses…basement. Turns out, the demolition team had already started knocking out the floor of the main foyer, leaving a gaping hole just past the front door. And needless to say, Joey was dealing with a nasty bloody nose, courtesy of landing on his face.
"ACK!" he yelled as he threw his torso back to crack the dislodged vertebrae in his spine, only to stare in amazement at the cause of his pain.
"WOW! WHAT A HOLE!"
Meanwhile, Hench had managed to get in through the back door, which lead to the already demolished kitchen. And while he was desperate to find Matt, he knew he had to watch his step…which he learned only when he tripped on a jutted-out piece of flooring, causing him to desperately grab a rope that was fed down through a hole in the ceiling. Unfortunately, the rope was attached to board, on which was sitting, to Hench's painful awareness, a toolbox, that had been left there by his nephew.
And in a matter of seconds, his soft, pained whines filled the house as he lay motionless on the floor. And it was only after a few minutes that he was able to shake away the throbbing pain in his head as he stood to his feet, using a wooden beam to keep himself steady.
Back in the basement, Joey had found some rickety old stares that would lead him up the first floor, where he hoped it would be safer. Once again, he learned the hard, very painful way that that wasn't the case as the steps on the stairs had been covered in tar. Joey got stuck only for a minute, he was able to to free himself, but he ended up falling backwards back down into the basement. At that point Joey was so fed up that he decided to make a makeshift step ladder out of debris and equipment. Unfortunately for him, just as he reached the first floor, the tower collapsed under his feet, leaving him hanging on for dear life. But that was the least of his worries as he saw movement from ahead.
"HEY!" he yelled as he saw the little pup as he was making his way up the stairs, pausing to send the fox a quick jab to his ego.
"Don't you know a kid always wins against two idiots?"
"HENCH! HE'S IN HERE!"
Upon hearing his partner's call, Hench instantly forgot about his headache, rage burning in his eyes as he ran toward the source of Joey's voice. And it was only upon seeing Joey dangling over the basement that he noticed his nephew's small frame attempt to clamber up the stairs. In a lighting fast move, Hench lunged at Matt, his large hands grabbing Matt by his ankle.
"HEY LET GO!" Matt ordered, fruitlessly attempting to kick his kidnapper in the face to free himself, only for his short leg to miss the mark by a mile. At that point, he knew his only chance was that someone outside the house could help.
"SOMEONE HELP!"
However, since he was inside the house, his voice wasn't loud enough to be heard by Wolf and Diane who had left the party to talk about their next step in bringing down King Bear, just then Wolf noticed something that was out of the ordinary. There, parked in the shadows was the van that Hench and Joey had been using.
Wolf opened the door to investigate, and he was shocked to see all the stolen stuff.
"Wolf, we need to inform Able about this!" Diane shouted as she and Wolf rushed back to the house.
Back at the house, it was utter bedlam. Practically the whole Jasper precinct had arrived when word came in about the Chief's son had been kidnapped. All the guests were enveloped in confusion and alarm. At that point, Wolf and Diane had reported their finding, the van had been seized, with the registration placing the vehicle in the hands of one Joseph Denson, a close associate of Hench. It was quickly surmised that they were going to attempt to rob the place, but Matt caught them in the act.
"Don't worry, Rachel," Terra cooed as she and Sweets attempted to calm the distraught mother on the front steps of the house, Able giving orders to Samson as Delilah took statements from everyone who last saw Matt, all while Cain quietly snuck away, already scheming of what he was going to do to those two brainless oafs when he got his hands on them.
"What if they don't find him?" Rachel sobbed.
"What if my last memory is me yelling at him?"
"Mrs. Aldan," Roy said, stepping toward the three females, "if anyone is to blame for this it's me. If I hadn't been such an ass…"
"Roy," Elsa quickly interrupted, "this is not anyone's fault. It's those damn thieves. But, beating ourselves up isn't going to help. Rachel you just…"
"SHH!" Rachel suddenly shushed, one ear perked up as a faint sound drifted through the air. At that moment, all the other people outside took notice of Rachel, who was now standing on her feet as she attempted to tune her hearing to the sound she heard. The sound came again, a little louder. And as a mother, Rachel could never mistake the sound of her child crying for help…from an abandoned house nearby. Without a word, Rachel bolted for the house, followed closely by her husband, Samson and Delilah.
Meanwhile, Matt was still trying his best to break free from Hench's grasp, the last bit of his strength ebbing away as the dark wolf pulled him closer to him. But just as all hope seemed lost, Matt noticed something at the top of the stairs.
A wrench. He grabbed it and struck his attacker over the head. Hench let Matt go and the little pup ran for the door, but ended up tripping over an old power jack. Matt looked up to see Hench running right at him when he too tripped over something. Hench went flying headfirst into a dirty cardboard box.
The wolf ripped the box off his head and looked around, but quickly ducked as Matt threw empty spay paint cans at him. By now, Hench had reached his boiling point. He then pulled out a knife and his eyes glowed with rage. Little Matt looked around for something to protect himself with.
The unmistakable nozzle of a fire extinguisher.
Thinking fast, Matt quickly picked it up and quickly took aim with the extinguisher, squeezing the handle and sending a powerful blast in Hench's face, the adult quickly stumbling back, his eyes burning from the onslaught. But, as his vision began to clear, he noticed Matt running for the exit.
"Hey you little bastard! Come back here!" Hench shouted and gave chase.
By the time Rachel made it to the front lawn of the old house, Matt came running out, Hench hot on his heels. Joey came out right behind his friend.
"MATT, BABY!" she cried as she ran to her son, the pup instantly crying as he jumped into his mother's arms, mother and child crying as they held each other close, tears staining their cheeks just as the other's arrived, Able following his wife's example by embracing his pup. As for Samson and Delilah, they blocked the two thieves' path, wasting no time in slapping cuffs on them both, all while their boss watched Able embrace his wife and son.
Just as Joey and Hench were being taken away, Matt pointed and shouted, "They wanted to set me on fire!"
Cain hearing this turned to his two goons and stormed up to them. He was beyond angry that they would dare threaten the life of his nephew. "You know what..." he then grabbed both Hench and Joey by the neck and lifted them off the ground with ease. "You both lost your health care plans and your 401K! And if I ever hear another word of you threatening the life of Matt, I'm going to fuck your lives up so bad, that you will beg Death himself to take both to hell!"
With his threat well heard, Hench and Joey were taken to the precinct for processing, Sam and Dax decided that the party was officially over. After the guests had cleared out, save for Eve who stayed behind to make sure that Matt wasn't seriously hurt, Roy walked up to Matt, who was enjoying his very own cheese pizza.
"Hey Matt," he said with a straight face, causing the pup to look up at the taller teen. After a few seconds of just staring, Roy let a warm smile form on his muzzle.
"Pretty cool that a four-year-old took down two crooks by himself."
With that, Roy offered his fist to Matt, who giddily returned the gesture in a fist bump.
"Thanks Roy," he said with a smile before the older wolf went off with the eldest Chambers kids and their significant others, who had invited Roy to an after-party in the national park, leaving Cain to drive Elsa home alone. Before long, the area was quiet. The other guests had gone, Eve left with Winston, and the Aldan family was out of sight, leaving Sam, Terra, Dax and Sweets by their lonesome…which is how they liked it most of the time with their kids. And after cleaning up the mess left over from the event and making sure everything was secure, it was time to relax.
Unfortunately, a chance series of events would soon see them thrust into a situation that they never thought possible.
