Since I'm blind and didn't notice it when reviewing the last chapter, I forgot to add that the newly built Temple is called Sol's Peak. Also, another thing to mention, for my readers to imagine easier. I'm going off by the Manga character designs on this fic. I will add that on the first chapter but I'm putting it here for those all caught up. Manga art for Tensura is just perfection!

Enjoy!

Chapter 30, The Guardian of Another World

The holo-recordings on her white desk turned off, leaving the office silent. Aurora and her two fellow warlocks couldn't believe what they witnessed.

It brought some really bad memories back as well.

Nimerah brought both her palms together and looked up at Sivert.

His eyes were full of hatred..

She can feel his anger and the Darkness was reacting to his emotions.

Leaking out…

Nimerah closed her eyes, when he came to her about this and told her that Rimuru was going to become a Demon Lord.

She of course had.. objections, especially when he was going to slaughter 20,000 humans.

Helping a Demon Lord rise would complicate the world..

But Sivert shut her up immediately, showing her the recordings the ghosts of the Guardians there on that day.

They captured everything.

All the atrocities Falmuth and the church caused.

Innocent children were killed…

"I will support Rimuru but if you try to interfere…. I will kill you." The Hunter declared, there was no remorse in those words.

The elf opened her eyes.

Her blue eyes stared into his dark golden eyes.

He was pissed…

Aurora and the others were having trouble breathing in his presence. They felt like his anger was choking them.

But Nimerah was calm and collected.

"I know. Which is why I won't. Falmuth brought them on themselves once they drew the sword."

Nimerah stood up from her chair and gave Sivert a determined look.

"The Vanguard will support Tempest."

Nimerah didn't like the idea of getting involved with National problems but Tempest has been a good friend to the Guardians.

She hasn't been there but everyone keeps talking about it. Praising it.

Not only that, Rimuru has allowed Sivert to build another Temple near it. A Home for the Guardians.

It was only right to help them in their time of need.

"Thank you."

Nimerah controlled the Vanguard, which held all the Guardians, even though most of them will listen to him. There are others who will follow the Vanguard.

He didn't want a civil war happening between the Guardians just because of his choices.

"So where do you want us?" Nimerah asked him.

"Just protect Tempest, help the citizens and keep them safe. Rimuru will deal with Falmuth."

Simple..

Nimerah was glad for that, she did want to help Tempest but she was not a fan of killing lightless humans.

Not because their lightless..

Because it'd be a slaughter that would give them quite a bad image to the rest of the world.

"What about you?"

Sivert turned around, "I'm going to find out what Rimuru wants me to do right now."

Whether It's destroy Falmuth after this or the church, it doesn't matter.

Sivert failed in his duty to protect Tempest just like he failed to protect the City.

He owes everything to Tempest now..

"Nice armor by the way.." he suddenly complimented the warlock.

Even though he was pissed off, Nimerah's new armor caught his eyes.

It was pretty cool!

It was Legend Grade Armor that looks like a mix of.. black warlock and Titan armor with a little bit of a white color mixed within.

Sivert's never seen such a mix of battle garments.

Nimerah also has a shoulder pauldron on her right arm, similar to that of Commander Zavala's though it was a little smaller and it was colored white with a wolf engraved on it along with a white titan mark that covered most of the back of her legs. Also possessing a wolf sigil on it.

Representing her loyalty to Sivert.

Nimerah's new staff was Legend Grade, it looked more like a spear then her previous staff but Sivert could tell it also served as a magical staff.

It was radiating Light… just like her armor was. Meaning it was forged by Kali.

The staff was a mix of black and gold while the blade at the top was gold.

Nimerah's golden hair was braided Into a pony tail as well. Allowing for easy head movement without having to worry about her hair.

"Thank you.. as reliable as it is.. I'm deep in debt now.. sadly.."

The Commander of the Vanguard in debt. Oh how Nimerah despised herself..

"I can pay it."

"No."

Nimerah quickly shut down his offer, "I will pay my debt myself. Thank you though."

Sivert gave a light nod in response. "Thank you as well.."

He said, turning to leave the office.

Aurora and the other's started gasping, taking deep breaths.

"Damn he needs to sto- stop that.. ugh!"

The warlock cursed Sivert, his anger was understandable but he can at least hold it back!

"Stop complaining and pull yourself together."

"Yes Ma'am!"

Aurora and the other's stood tall immediately.

Awaiting order's..

Nimerah sighed and sat back down on her chair.

"Get me Lord Shaxx."

The mighty Titan would love to protect Tempest and lead those over there.

Sivert looked out the window of his office. A more larger and decorated office inside his home which is near Sol's Peak.

Actually it overlooked the growing town down there, sort of like the Temple. Only the Temple was higher.

This new home of his was very luxurious. Aria helped him build and decorate it.

It was a Custom Mansion with an all-white outer, it's built on the promontory of another nearby Mountain. Smaller than the one the Temple was constructed on but still provided a beautiful view for Sivert.

The mansion has several rooms.

Starting with the Main Floor, which contained the most basic living areas, including a large, open living room and a kitchen. The Living room had white couches, sofa's and a pool table as well.

The kitchen was large, with dark grey counter's and a black fridge but it had white cabinets and such.

In the basement of the mansion is Sivert's workshop. A large, open area with mostly concrete looking walls. This area has yet to be used but it contains some of Sivert's favorite sparrows.

The thing about this workshop is that it's also a small hangar.. built into the mountain the mansion was on.

It held six of his favorite ships which were lined up, facing each other.

The entire workshop possessed an expansive hologram projector system that was operated either through Aria or Sivert.

The workshop also held some of his favorite weapons that were on the walls or in a small vault along with a variety of tools all over the place.

This workshop was going to be one of his favorite places to be on his free time.

Upstairs was Sivert's bedroom and office which were connected. All Sivert has to do is open a set of dark wooden doors to access either of the two.

The office has a dark wooden floor with white walls and a white ceiling. It's a large office which can be entered through a set of glass doors.

Those who would enter would be met with a large fish tank built on the walls on the left, Containing several fish born in his Throne World and found in this world.

The office has a large curved white desk along with a black chair. The desk offers a holoprojector that he can use to read reports or look through files.

Behind the desk was a large window that allowed Sivert to overlook the town or the nearby lake, or just the beautiful forest.

There was several large windows like this all around the mansion but they were tinted on the outside.

There's also two chairs in front of his desk with a glass dining room table along with two white couches in the center of the office.

A small bookshelf also resides within the office, placed against the right side of the wall close to Sivert's desk along with a small bar.

On the left side of the wall, also close to his desk was the set of dark wooden doors with golden handles. This led to the bedroom.

The bedroom has an all-white carpet floor, a black bed with dark cover's that have a white interior and pillows along with a large closet and bathroom which held a large bath and shower.

Both of these rooms had Sivert's luxurious tastes along with some of Aria's tastes. Such as paintings of Sivert along with other art work hanging on the walls of both rooms.

There was also more in his workshop and other places of the mansion. Paintings created by Lethaea which showed Sivert wearing nice outfits and sitting on thrones or him triumphing against his enemies..

All embarrassing additions to the mansion. At least for Sivert..

The mansion also offers a pool outside on the balcony along with another Garden and a gym for Sivert and those who live here.

The gym has some custom built weights that even a Saint would have trouble lifting and a boxing ring.

Outside of the house, near the front entrance was enough space for several wagons just in case Sivert has some powerful visitors. Such as Nobles or annoying politicians.

He didn't want to but Aria suggested he do for at least Rimuru.

In the middle of the front garden, which has a white pathway that led to the front doors of the mansion, a large water fountain was placed.

This Mansion was very nice, which is why Sivert made sure to put up some powerful defenses and security systems.

It was his home after all.

It has large anti-air guns just like those at the tower and cannons and turrets. They are retractable and hide either in the mansion or the area around the mansion.

There's also a powerful barrier surrounding the mansion though invisible unless attacked.

This house was very modern like, at least for his world. It wasn't like the fancy palaces the kingdoms of this world had to offer.

While Sivert can easily teleport here, visitors have to enter through the black fence gate at the foot of the mountain and ride up a nice clean brick road which has two white walls on both sides of the road.

The road led up to the front entrance where the visitors would park their transportation.

Whether it be Horse, Wagon/Carriage or sparrow.

No one but Sivert along with a few close friends of his can teleport here. They'd just be blocked by the barrier due to its anti-magic properties.

Those who want to teleport can only teleport outside the front gates..

Sivert closed his eyes as the doors to his office opened. Lyra and Lethaea entered and approached his desk.

"You don't need to do this alone." Lyra said in concern.

"I won't be alone."

Sivert replied to his friend as he opened his eyes and turned around to look at her.

"Sigrun and Kaguya will be with me."

"That's-"

Lyra sighed in annoyance.

"That's not what I mean. I like Tempest and I'll be damned if you're going to go kill those who harmed it without me."

The two stared into each other's eyes..

"Yeah I have to agree with Lyra. Tempest has been good to us all… and I've been making some very good money from their product." Lethaea joined in.

"I also hate when people mess with my business partners."

Sivert rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.

"So you both want to come…"

"Yes." they answered in unison.

"Well sorry but no. If anyone's getting blood on their hands. It's Rimuru and me."

Lyra clicked her tongue in frustration while Lethaea stared at Sivert.

"What Falmuth and the Church did.. It really pissed you off… didn't think you could get angry like that." the huntress pointed out.

"You have no idea…"

Sivert hasn't been this angry since he heard that Shizue was killed..

But it was only better controlled..

Slightly at least.

"I know but I still have to do my job."

Lethaea walked slowly around the desk and towards him, "Your like an angry, vicious, hungry Wolf." She said as she approached him.

The Huntress placed both her hands on his chest.

"I'm glad I prepared ahead for this."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Lyra asked, annoyed by her lover's words.

This didn't sound like it was going towards the direction where Sivert allows them to come with to kick some ass!

"Our Wolf is in need of.. pleasure. It's time we be the… little.. vulnerable.. bunnies he needs.."

Lethaea gave Sivert a lick on his nape.

"Go ahead…" she whispered.

"Use me to satisfy yourself.."

It'd be a dream come true for the lewd Hunter. Who's been wanting Sivert to use her like some sort of sex slave..

"Lethaea…stop. It is not the time.." Sivert gently pushed her back but the lustful Hunter pressed forward.

"Oh but it is. You can fight me but I will still keep coming until your satisfied. Or wait… hold on. I got an idea."

She turned around and jogged towards Lyra. "Come." She grabbed her right hand.

"Hey! Wai-"

Lyra was silenced as the doors to the bedroom were closed. Sivert could hear them chatting in there.

It only took a few minutes before the two came back out. This time in.. very lewd outfits.

Sivert was shocked but also very.. annoyed that Lethaea would go this far to seduce him.

They both wore black lewd bunny outfits. It was very… erotic for him.

"Damn you…" Lyra cursed her lover but if she thinks this will help Sivert with his emotions then she will go with her plan.

Apparently Lethaea had these outfits made not long ago after discovering a very lewd book under Sivert's bed back at the old Temple.

One she made sure to keep so she can learn more of his favorite.. sexual desires.

It also showed that he wasn't as pure as everyone thought. Even the Young Wolf had some.. naughty desires.

"Fufu.. now our Wolf.. are you going to.. ravage us?" Lethaea asked Sivert in a seductive tone.

Presenting herself…

They were so… sexy and Sivert cursed himself for not being able to resist.

It has been some time and he could use some...

Beauties to make love too.

He slowly walked around his desk and towards them, grabbing them both by their waist's as they started to give him kisses on his body while undressing him.

"Use us.." Lethaea whispered and playfully bit his left ear.

The doors to the bedroom closed as they entered and Sivert fulfilled Lethaea's request..

The night was long and allowed Sivert to relax himself, to calm his anger and relieve him of his pain.

He had a dream…

A Wolf stood before a mighty Cyan colored Dragon.

It offered to teach him and give him power to protect his loved ones.

In exchange.. he would-

The dream ended in silence…

His eyes quickly opened and Sivert sat up in panic, worried he was late for his meeting.

"Shit.."

"Don't worry."

He looked to his left, watching Lyra put one of his white shirts on.

"Aria told us of the meeting you have. It starts in an hour." She said with a small smile.

Sivert sighed in relief and laid back against his pillows.

"You know.. if you were going to tear up our outfits we could've just did it naked in the first place!" the warlock complained.

Sivert immediately became flustered.

He did act like an animal last night.

"Relax Lyra. I have plenty, besides. It shows how much Sivert wanted to.. ravage us."

Lethaea told her, she was still naked and crawled back on the bed to lay with Sivert.

"I guess…"

It did make Lyra happy knowing Sivert wanted her body that much.

"So Sivert.. how does a sexy secretary sound?"

"Hm?"

Sivert was caught off guard by that sudden question.

"Or some bedwarmers?"

"Bedwarmers?"

What in the hell was she on about…

"Yup."

Lethaea giggled softly and dropped a kiss on his nape, rubbing her right hand over his stomach and chest.

Exploring his.. manly body.

"You're getting better.. way better in bed and I'm afraid me and Lyra aren't going to be enough for you. Luckily I planned for this. I have some bedwarmers of my own. Young women and very beautiful. Their also virgins if that makes you more interested…"

Sivert looked down at her with disgust.

"What?" the Huntress asked, confused from that expression.

"I'm married.."

"Oh but Aria said it's fine."

"What?"

Sivert was quick to look at his ghost who hovered next to Lyra.

"I… agree with Lethaea and I want you to be satisfied. Besides, your always talking about having a harem when we're alone."

"That's…"

Sivert couldn't even fight that. It's true he's been.. having such desires but it's Rimuru's fault for planting those ideas! Even worse when he gives him.. lewd books!

But the thought of having a bunch of beautiful women all over you.. the Hunter couldn't help but want such a thought to come true.

"So I decided I'll allow it, if you want… as long as they know who's the Queen of this home. Then they can be with Sivert as much as they want."

Lethaea nodded in agreement with Lyra joining in after.

Sivert looked down at the black blanket over his body.

He smiled softly..

"Thank you Lethaea, I know I have had the desires but.. don't worry. You two are enough and all I want."

His words made both the women's heart's flutter in delight..

"Oh Sivert.. your so cute!"

"I think I want to go another round."

"Me too!"

Lyra crawled back onto the bed, quickly undressing herself while Lethaea got to work.

"If you just want us both.. then you will have us.." Lyra whispered, grabbing Sivert's face to kiss him.

Both women pushed him down and got to work.

Yeah..

Best to stick with these two, any more women and Sivert will probably become a sex crazed hunter like Lethaea.

Trying to sleep with any beauty he sees..

Sivert was silent, leaning his back against the wall next to the two doors that led inside the meeting room.

Rhaegar stood in front of him with both his arms crossed.

The two were waiting for Rimuru's meeting to be finished as Rimuru didn't let Sivert attend because he has a special mission for him and wanted to ask a question in private.

Sivert crossed his arms and decided to ask Rhaegar a question that's been on his mind since he took him in.

Just with all that occurred the past two days he never had the chance.

"Rhaegar. What's your story?"

The Hunter wanted to learn about Rhaegar.

The High Elf quickly obliged, explaining his story through Thought Communication.

Rhaegar was a High Elf and one of the first created by the being Twilight.

A Wind Elemental like the others, only he was blessed with great magic power and strength along with cunning, being gifted a powerful body. He also had three attributes making him a monster.

Fire, Space, and Wind.

Twilight's strongest creation in his eyes.

Though not the perfect one according to Rhaegar.

He was created to be a King and to create a Nation to help seed the world with life and he did.

As he slowly built his kingdom he grew more powerful and powerful each day. Though not rivaling, he was capable of even giving a True Dragon trouble due to his superior combat prowess.

Then, around the time his creator Twilight was killed by his perfect creation.

Luminous Valentine.

Rhaegar was targeted due to his experience and knowledge.

He was a threat in the eyes of the mediator.

Guy Crimson, who attacked him and his Nation.

Also because Rhaegar refused to become a Demon Lord.

Rhaegar defended his nation, willing to sacrifice himself for their safety.

The two battled for two days and two nights until Rhaegar was finally defeated and killed along with his Kingdom destroyed..

So that meant him and Sivert had something in common, resenting Guy.. but it also made sense why he was brought back by the Light.

Sivert was mistaken.

Rhaegar was Devoted to his people, he was brave to protect them, even in the face of a foe stronger than him, he sacrificed himself to save their lives.

Even if his sacrifice didn't mean much since Guy most likely killed his people after the battle.

Rhaegar was worthy of the Light, even so.. he still continues to believe he was resurrected to serve Sivert.

Years of those annoying visions of him kneeling before Sivert seemed to have planted that in his head.

"You resent the evil Demon Lord as I. However I know you don't seek vengeance, and neither do I as revenge is a fools game. It was my fault for being weak. But, I have grown stronger since and all I desire now is to serve the purpose for which I was resurrected."

"Serving me.."

Rhaegar gave him a light nod.

Well.. they had some stuff in common. Sivert doesn't seek revenge.. at least the kill type.

Sivert just wants to mess around with Guy and create problems for him. That's good enough for the Hunter.

"Hm…"

To think he had history with Guy though. He's glad he told Rhaegar most of his past so the High Elf could understand him better.

Sivert's glad as well, if Rhaegar's that powerful. Then he'll be of some help if Guy were to ever find and attack Sivert.

They returned to being silent..

Though of course..

Sivert and Rhaegar could hear everything that was going on inside the meeting room.

"Something is bothering you my Lord. Isn't it?" The High Elf suddenly asked through thought communication.

Sivert raised a brow, was he that obvious?

There was something on his mind..

Perhaps Rhaegar might have the answer.

"Yes.. I.. I had a dream. About a Dragon.. it was powerful.. godly.. it had a cyan sort of color to it. I'm just curious on who it might be.. It's the first time I've had such a dream."

Not only that, Sivert's light has been pulsing ever since he had it. As if it's reacting to something.

"Perhaps the Star King Dragon noticed you? I've seen him before.. only a glimpse but I have. From what you described. That could be him."

That worried Sivert now..

If.. the dead Veldanava suddenly resurrected just for him.. what on earth could he have planned for him?

Sivert is indeed strong, however… he's never had proper training with his True Dragon like strength.

"However it might be out of curiosity. I must admit, you are an anomaly in this world. But I do not see a reason why the Star King Dragon would want to destroy you when you pose no threat to his world.."

Rhaegar had a good point.. Sivert didn't have plans on destroying or conquering the world.

And never will.

"I see.."

"Worry not. I believe this dream is one of many messages he is sending you.. I don't know when or how but I presume he will attempt to meet you in person. I would be prepared.."

"Pfft.."

Be prepared…

For what?!

Sivert didn't want to fight God..

He knew when to pick his fights and he's heard what Veldanava's has done to many..

The thought alone scared Sivert..

It would be the.. hardest fight of his entire immortal life and if he falls, then there's a chance the other Guardians will fall with him..

"We may discuss this later if you wish."

"Yeah.."

The meeting ended as they finished talking.

Actually Sivert listened to the meeting as he listened to Rhaegar.

Rimuru was explaining his plans to everyone along with his decision to become a demon Lord.

However Sivert did not expect Rimuru to reveal that he was a reincarnated otherworlder to them.

He felt guilty because he was once a human and it was because of his rules that humans warriors were able to easily slip in and act as merchants or adventurers and then begin slaughtering people.

Sivert couldn't imagine the guilt he must be feeling.

Thankfully though, his precious subordinates don't care if he was once human.

He will always be Great Rimuru!

And the Hunter couldn't help but smile when hearing that.

"A Nation of monsters… I still have a difficult time believing this exists."

Rhaegar whispered, he too was listening in on the meeting.

And he did not expect them to be so friendly.

Of course, it's mostly because of that slime.

Still, the High Elf has started to grow fond of this place and according to Sivert the dishes here are delicious. So he'll definitely try some after this is all over.

The doors to the meeting room opened and the participants such as Benimaru and Shuna walked out.

Not before greeting Sivert first which he returned with his own friendly greetings.

God he loved this place.

"Come in."

Rimuru said from inside the room, Sivert followed inside along with Rhaegar who closed the doors after.

"Now.. sorry for leaving you out but then again. You guys heard everything either way."

The two simply nodded in response.

Rimuru transformed into his human form and sat down on his chair.

"An army of twenty thousand huh… are you sure you're ok with letting me kill twenty thousand people."

Sivert sighed as he was starting to get annoyed by this. Rimuru's asked him this several times already yesterday.

"Yes. Eat away. If it will bring Shion and the others back then I don't care and if anyone would dare intervene I'll stop them."

Rimuru smiled, satisfied with the answer.

"Great but I need to tell you something. Earlier Souei contacted me saying there was a batch of reinforcements leaving from Falmuth. Holy Knights. Probably because of the Guardians presence here. Falmuth lost more men In the surprise attack then intended."

"Good." Sivert casually replied with no concern, making Rimuru chuckle a little.

"I'll deal with Falmuth's main army while the other's will deal with crystals that are powering that barrier. I want you to station yourself at the forest entrance and main road to Tempest. Do not let that army or anybody else enter or if there's people who managed to escape. Kill them."

"Got it."

Sivert quickly responded with a determined look.

"Thank you for your support. Both of you.."

The two once again, only nodded in response.

"Now. I have a question.. where did those ghosts come from earlier?"

Damnit…

Sivert was hoping he wouldn't ask about that but then again. It was kind of suspicious..

Sivert causally opening a portal in the middle of an Anti-magic barrier but after failing to protect Tempest.

The Hunter owes it to tell the truth.

He sighed and answered. "I have a Throne World. That is where the ghost's came from."

Rimuru was obviously shocked from this revelation.

A Throne World..

He knows little about them but he does know that their pocket universes created with the use of Darkness.

Sivert has his own pocket universe..

"How come you didn't tell me?"

"Privacy reasons.."

Well..

Guess he had a point. If word got out that he had a pocket universe it'd draw a lot of unnecessary attention.

And Rimuru had a big mouth.

"Oh.. well. I won't tell anyone."

"Thank you.. that'd be appreciated."

"So.. can I see it?" Rimuru curiously asked.

"Maybe after all this is over."

"Right."

Rimuru cursed himself..

He had an army to kill first and fallen friends to resurrect. How dare he think of doing such a thing before not solving those problems first.

But that didn't stop him from asking more questions.

"So.. is there like a secret base in your Throne World?"

"Pretty much.."

Rimuru was amazed..

Sivert was more powerful then he anticipated and he feels as if there's more he's not telling him.

"A second Tower for my Guardians. Oh, there was a lot more in this world then I knew.."

Rimuru's eyes widened, "Really?"

"Yeah, about a few thousand."

A few… thousand immortal warriors..

Good grief..

"So the Temple wasn't your true home?"

"Not really. That's why I was requesting that you build a second city in that spot I chose. So it could serve as a more foothold for me and the Guardians. Oh it's finished by the way. The Second Temple.."

Oh..

That made more sense..

"Well.. I hope to learn more later and see that new Temple you built. Right now though.. It's time."

Right..

Rimuru stood up from his chair and walked towards Sivert.

"Thank you for doing this."

"No problem."

The two smiled at each other, Rimuru held out his right hand while Sivert did the same.

The two fist bumped before Rimuru walked towards the doors, leaving.

Sivert turned to his left to look at Rhaegar.

"Ready?"

Rhaegar gave a silent nod and the two activated their spatial magic.

"Sivert!"

A familiar voice called to him through his comms and he stopped his magic.

The Hunter Ivory.

"Ivory?"

"Hey! Sivert.. long time since we spoke. Anyways! I need you here to see this."

Sivert became immediately became annoyed. "Look if it's about the construction of the house. I can't check on your prog-"

"No! Were done with that it's just.. better if you see it for yourself." She assured.

Sivert rolled his eyes. "Fine but I swear if it's something stupid."

"You will tear us from limb to limb blah.. blah.. blah. Got it."

Well.. he wasn't planning on being that cruel but if that's what they wanted Sivert can totally do that!

"Very well."

With a quick change of plans, he and Rhaegar departed towards Ivory and Sim who were not far from Tempest.

Once they arrived, they were met with a nice beautiful home.

A mansion mostly..

Sivert didn't look at it much though, because his eyes were fixated on the three… severely beat up Guardians on their knees.

Sim delivered a punch to one of them, making them spit out blood.

Sivert didn't recognize these Guardians and it seems Sim and Ivory didn't like them very much.

"What happened?" he quickly asked.

"Well we finished the house and we heard what was going on in Tempest. We rushed to help but found these guys walking through the forest. Talking about killing Rimuru and stuff."

Sivert's eyes immediately became hostile and he glared down at the three. One of them looked up at him as if he recognized Sivert.

"You… your Sivert! Sierra hasn't killed you yet? What the hell is she doing damnit!"

Sierra? Sivert did not recognize the name..

"Their Guardians who became assassins." Ivory pointed out and added on.

"They were paid to kill Rimuru but it seems they were working with someone who's supposed to kill you.."

Sivert crossed his arms, he can already guess who paid them…

But it seems they weren't worth the money. These guys were bruised badly and their armor and weapons were a mess.

It was obvious Sim beat them all to a pulp, he may be a troublemaker but he was one hell of a fighter.

"Alright…"

Sadly Sivert didn't have time to.. interrogate his new friends.

"Can I trust you with.. interrogating them?"

"Of course."

Rhaegar swung his staff, striking the three guardians each on their heads where they eventually fell unconscious, their ghost foolishly materialized to check on them but were quickly captured by Rhaegar.

He stuffed them inside a small magic prison he created and tapped his staff onto the ground.

The four quickly vanished.

Sivert looked back at Ivory and Sim.

"Good work."

"For the house or saving Rimuru?"

"Both.. It's yours by the way. The house."

The two snickered underneath their helmets and fist bumped each other. They couldn't wait to celebrate their victory in their new home.

It was huge!

"Report to Nimerah back at the tower."

"Tower? Wait there's a tower!"

"Yes.."

Sivert wasn't surprised that they asked. They've been stuck here building an entire home.

"I'll send you there."

"Uh! Wait.. um.. can you send Sim first? I need to ask you something…" Ivory nervously asked.

Sivert raised a brow but didn't think much of the request. So he sent Sim away before the Titan could protest.

The Hunter crossed his arms and looked down at Ivory.

"What is it?"

"Um…"

Ivory placed both her hands behind her back and kicked the dirt.

"Is.. love forbidden between the Guardians?"

"No."

Sivert didn't mind it.

"Good! Um.. what about… having children?"

Her tone was full of nervousness and Sivert could feel a little fear in it. She was scared…

Scared of something happening to her…

No..

To someone she cares about.

Sivert's golden eyes slowly looked down and at Ivory's stomach.

They widened at what they saw.

"Your…"

"Pregnant. Yeah…" Ivory gave a nervous chuckle.

Sivert was definitely surprised, this was such big news!

"Who's the father?"

If they just left Ivory and the child, Sivert was going to tear them apart..

"Well.. you can guess."

"Sim?"

Ivory gave a cute little nod and added on.

"After we finished the mansion.. we celebrated and just.. fell in the moment. He may be an idiot and a knuckle head but.. I love him and I'm glad he's going to be the father of my child.."

Oh…

This is so sweet!

"I even fell deeper in love when seeing him protect me.."

Sim was fueled with power, taking on those three Guardians by himself to defend his lover and child.

They stood no chance against the raging storm he became. Even Lord Shaxx himself would be inspired the sight.

"Good. That means he loves you too!"

Sivert was so happy for the two!

"You're not mad?"

"Hell no! I don't care what you or the other guardians do. As long as it doesn't endanger innocent lives or get in my way."

That was so relieving to hear.

"But that does mean something."

Sivert pointed at her stomach.

"Your forbidden from entering combat situations and the crucible, we don't know what will happen to the child if you die.. you can come back but.."

"My baby might not…"

Ivory hasn't thought of that and was really glad Sivert pointed that out. She would be devastated to know her child perished just because she wanted to kick some ass..

"Stay at home with Sim. Relax and prepare for the coming of your child." Sivert ordered in a strict tone.

He was also going to secretly monitor them as well for their safety.

"Understood."

Ivory started to tear up in joy, she's so happy Sivert accepted this.

So happy, to the point where she lunged at him to give him a big hug.

"Oh.."

She started crying on his chest and garments..

"I'm so happy! WAHHHH!"

"Hey… um.."

Sivert wasn't good with dealing with crying people.

So he just returned the hug.

Even if… his clothes were going to be all wet..

"Sivert…"

"Yes?"

The Hunter looked up at him, "Can you be the Godfather of our child."

Oh boy…

"Me?.."

"Yes!"

Oh dear…

"Why not someone else close to you? Like Astraea? She's your best friend isn't she?"

Sivert can totally see the hunter being a godmother.

"Yes but.. you're the first to support this. Therefor I want you to be the Godfather."

A Godfather..

Sivert couldn't be one.. he hates kids!

But he also couldn't refuse a crying women. Especially when she's pregnant.

"Alright.."

Ivory sniffed and backed away, wiping the tears off her eyes.

"Thank you. You can send me back now."

It was time to tell everyone the news.

"Yup and if anyone gives you trouble. You let me know."

Sivert will kill anyone who'd dare ruin Ivory's happiness.

"I will."

Feeling Sivert support her so much, Ivory couldn't help but cry more in joy.

She then vanished.

Leaving Sivert alone with Aria.

The Hunter sighed and chuckled lightly. Those two were a pain in his ass he had to admit but they were wholesome.

Now that they were going to have a child..

He wonders what the future holds for them.

"A Godfather huh…"

"Hm.. I like it but I can't wait until you're an actual Father." Aria commented with a snicker.

"Yeah I don't know.."

He hates kids..

Either way, it was time to go back to work and luckily Aria was quick to be on board.

But first..

She had to make sure of something.

"Are you sure Sivert?"

"Sure about what?"

"Killing more humans.."

Aria doesn't know what to think. He'd be seen as an enemy of humanity.

"I am."

Sivert's eyes were full of determination.

"Alright then. I'm with you no matter what!" Aria declared, making Sivert smile. She'll share the weight of the consequences that'll come in the future.

"Thank you. Let's go now."

The pair also vanished.

He ran through the bushes, ignoring his tired legs and the pain he was feeling in his lungs.

The growls of the beast chasing him got closer.

The Holy Knight tripped on a log and fell face first into the grass floor.

He quickly turned around and backed away from the group of Direwolves slowly moving towards him.

"Thought you could run little fucker?"

A man walked out of the bushes behind the Direwolves. A few other's joining behind him.

This was the Hunter Riv and he had a bone to pick with this guy specifically.

Riv watched this lone knight kill a little goblin girl..

Even smiling as he did!

"No! Stay back! It was a savage monster!" the Knight shouted but Riv ignored him.

Grabbing him by the collar of his shirt and lifting him up.

"A savage monster? It was a little girl you sick shit! A person! A Civilian!"

The man could not overpower Riv who was an enlightened.

"It wasn't a person. It was a monster... Don't you know? The Western Holy Church doctrine declared that monsters have no rights."

Riv couldn't believe what he was hearing.

Just how delusional were these people?!

"You sick fucks..."

Riv turned around and threw the man onto the floor in front of the Direwolves.

"Easy now Riv. We got a whole feast!"

The Titan Rance ordered as he exited from the nearby bushes with the rest of the Wreckers.

They were dragging several captured Holy Knights.

"Let me go!"

"You traitor to humanity!"

They shouted, throwing insults while the other's begged for their lives.

They threw the prisoners in front of them, forcing them to get on their knees.

"Please! I have a family!"

"Shut up you twat... I'm doing them a favor.."

The Hunter Link said with an annoyed tone.

"Alright? Who's first?" Rance asked, clasping his hands together while looking at the ten prisoners they acquired.

"Let's kill this child killer. You should've heard the shit he said just now!" Riv recommend while kicking the knight in the face.

"Haha. You sure you don't want to save him for last?" Rance asked but Riv shook his head instantly.

"Alright. Wrecker's! Kill him!" Rance ordered.

Riv kicked the man in the face again, forcing him on the ground while the Titan Lion grabbed the man's right leg and Riv grabbed the left leg.

"This is going to hurt! A lot!" Link said while grabbing the man's left arm, placing his boot on his shoulder to assist him on pulling it off.

"Stop! STOP! AGHH!"

Lion ripped off the man's right leg just as Riv ripped off the left leg while Link ripped off his arm.

The other's watched in horror at the brutality they were witnessing.

The Guardians tore the man limb from limb until his cries went silent.

This was cruel.. sure.

But in the their eyes, these guys deserved every inch of pain!

They witnessed them murder innocent people, angered by this.

Rance had his fireteam capture any retreating Knights they could and bring them to an isolated area where they could release their pent up anger on them.

"You monsters!" a Knight shouted.

"Sure.. but your no different." Rance told him in response before snapping his fingers.

The Direwolves lunged onto the man, tearing him from limb to limb as he cried in pain.

Another brutal sight..

One of the Knights ended up throwing up due to it.

"Come on."

Link and two other hunter's dragged three other's away from the rest of the prisoners before forcing them to kneel once again.

"Here. Hold onto this."

Link told one, handing the knight a solar grenade.

"What?"

The hunter did not reply, simply backing away with his friends.

They watched the grenade explode and scorch the three knights to death. They screamed as they burned alive while the Lightbearer's laughed and cheered.

"Stop! Please! I have a family!"

A knight begged as he was dragged away from the group.

"Like I said. I'm doing them a favor."

"Please! I have children! I never intended for any of this! I-" the man was silenced as Link's ghost projected a video recording of the man in front of the whole group.

He was impaling a goblin with his sword while smiling.

"We have it all. Each and every one of you. We got evidence of all your atrocities you committed and will show them to your loved ones when the time comes." Rance stated, finally shutting up the begging Knights.

"Let's just hope your kids don't turn up like you." Link drew his Handcannon and aimed it at the back of the man's head.

"Wait! ST-"

The man was silenced with a bullet to the back of the head.

"Alright. We had our fun. Kill the rest of them."

The Guardians drew their guns and opened fired on the remaining prisoners.

Executing them.

Rance pulled out a small canteen full of wine from his belt and took a sip while watching his Guardians kill them. And enjoying the sounds of guns being fired.

"Isn't this a war crime?" a warlock couldn't help but ask as they finished shooting the prisoners.

"What the hell is a war crime?"

The warlock shrugged, "I remember reading something about it back at the tower. Not fully sure. Just knew that executing prisoners is a war crime.."

"There's crimes in war?"

The fireteam burst into laughter at the thought of that.

"It's a matter of life and death. There's no crimes." Rance said as he stopped laughing.

"Besides these guys never declared war. Not after killing a bunch of innocent people first at least." Nex finished on.

So..

In reality they were just killing pieces of shits.

The fireteams actions just shows that not all Lightbearer's are saints or heroes.

For the Wreckers? They just see themselves as people who want to make a living.

And that's by killing scum, modifying their weapons and armor that would be deemed illegal by the old Vanguard and getting wasted on some good booze.

Sivert hovered in the air just a few feet above the ground where the Titan Sigrun and the Warlock Kaguya stood near along with Lyra and Lethaea.

They were at the entrance of the forest.

Sivert had his arms crossed.

His all black attire and dark presence he was radiating was enough to even make the mightiest of human warriors melt away.

He gave off the presence of a Dark Lord..

His golden eyes were focused straight ahead.

He could hear them, though they were still pretty far he could hear the sounds of multiple horses galloping.

Making their way here..

Sivert continued radiating Darkness for he does not wish to use the Light for what he's about to do.

Eventually he was able to see the army of Holy Knights riding their way here. There were also several wagons carrying supplies.

So it wasn't just reinforcements..

No matter.

They will meet their end.

Within minutes the entire army stopped after spotting and feeling Sivert's presence.

"You there! You foul man! Are you a demon?" A Knight asked, pointing his sword at the Hunter while a few mages got in position. Ready to strengthen the troops with magic.

A demon…

Heh..

Hahahah!

Sivert loved that.

"No.. I am the Guardian of this forest that will soon be the domain of Demon Lord Rimuru."

Sivert knows it will.. he could see it.

"A Majin serving under the Monster Nation! Mages! Prepare the holy magic!"

Within seconds, several barrages of Holy Cannons mixed with other magic were fired.

Striking Sivert but having no effect on him.

It was all so weak despite the effort they put in to it.

So disappointing.

He increased the Darkness he was radiating, making many collapse due to it.

"You poor fools. I hope you enjoyed your meaningless lives." Sivert responded, his dark, cold voice echoed throughout the entire army.

"For you have served your purpose. All that awaits you is the gift of death… " He declared, lifting his right hand and summoning his Lubrae's Ruin glaive.

He dropped it and the glaive exploded into a wave of resonance energy that annihilated the Vanguard of the army.

Not even the horses were safe.

The dying cries of the army echoed throughout the area.

Sivert grinned, it was music to his ears..

Such.. sweet music to hear those in pain suffer even more.

The Hunter looked up at the sky, grabbing his face with his left hand as he laughed quietly.

He truly has become a Monster...

The resonance wave dissipated and Sivert looked back down. Seeing nothing left of the Vanguard.

"Now, have fun." Sivert told the other's.

Lethaea smirked and walked forward with Lyra, Kaguya and Sigrun following. They charged forward, unleashing hell of the rest of the army.

Sivert watched the four tear through the army with ease.

Lethaea took her time, killing those who attacked her slowly.

Lyra had fun, testing new abilities on them with no remorse.

Sigrun killed them quickly, ignoring their pleas.

Kaguya simply slaughtered away with her glaive.

Blood rained on them all as within minutes, the remaining army was destroyed.

Not even their ashes remained..

The four made their way back to Sivert, Lyra and Lethaea snickered and praised each other while Sigrun and Kaguya gave each other a fist bump.

"Hm?"

Sivert spotted a lone survivor though as the four walked up to him.

They wore an all-black cloak.

Sivert hovered down and landed on the ground next to the four.

This person must've just arrived or else the four wouldn't have missed them.

They lifted their right hand from underneath their cloak to look at a poster..

They looked back at Sivert and at the poster..

"You look different.. but it's definitely you."

Their voice was feminine and the tone was cold..

She let go of the poster and it was guided by the wind..

It slowly landed in front of Sivert..

He looked down at it along with the other four.

It was a drawing of him, though many years ago when he was popular in the Western Nations.

Sivert looked back up and at the women..

She was gone..

He closed his eyes..

The snake stalked her prey…

And lunged.

"URK!"

The women was sent flying past Sivert crashing against the ground and stopping at a tree.

Sivert opened his eyes and watched Sigrun land in front of him, holding her Flaming Maul in both her hands.

"Ugh…"

The women casually stood up. "That hurt you bitch!"

Sigrun did not respond, solely focused on her duty..

Fighting for Sivert..

She walked forward while Kaguya stood by Sivert.

Sigrun has been waiting for this day for a long time. To finally show Sivert how useful she is..

The women reached her right hand under her cloak, pulling out a black katana with a white and golden hilt.

She removed her cloak, revealing her black and dark purple armor. She then removed her helmet..

The five were easily shocked from her race.

An.. Awoken!

With long dark purple hair that reached halfway down her back, her golden eyes and blue skin.. she is also quite beautiful. Despite her mean glare.

"Sierra?" Lethaea suddenly called out to the Hunter, removing her helmet as she did.

"Huh? Lethaea?"

The awoken was no longer hostile, eyes widened she walked up to Lethaea.

"Your still alive. Hah! I knew you were." Lethaea immediately hugged the hunter who returned it.

"Of course she's friends with my assassin.." Sivert mumbled as he facepalmed.

He knew Lethaea had connections but to think they were this wide!

"What are you doing here?"

"To kill him." Sierra pointed at Sivert, earning her a hostile gaze from the other's.

"Huh? Hahahaha! Well I assure you. You're not getting paid enough to try and kill him."

Sierra raised a brow, looking back at Lethaea.

"Your serious? I was given ten thousand gold coins."

"Yeah.. not even close to enough. Besides, Sivert's not worth trying to kill because then I'd have to kill you haha!"

Before she knew even knew it, Sierra could feel Lethaea's Handcannon pressed against her stomach..

"Quick drawer as always."

"Mhm."

Sierra shook her head and took a step back. "Alright if you say so. A friend of yours is a friend of mine."

"Well actually Sivert is my mans."

"Is that so?"

Sierra made eye contact with Sivert, with one long look in those dark golden eyes.

Lethaea's words begun to have merit…

Sierra could see power in those eyes. Unimaginable power.

"Yup. I got marked and everything!"

"Does he treat you well?"

Sierra had to ask of course, Lethaea is a close friend and she wants to make sure her new man's isn't doing anything..

A proper man wouldn't do.

"Mmm.. of course.. even better in our little love nest." Lethaea whispered as she holstered her Handcannon.

"Good."

"I know.. tell you what. Why not join us?"

"Join you? Well I wouldn't mind a threeso-"

"No.. he's all mine and Lyra's. Sivert here has started to unite many Guardians under his command. Well the Vanguard's command. There's even a Tower!"

"Vanguard? Tower?"

"Yup, brought back from the grave and better than ever!"

Sierra crossed her arms and gave it some thought.

"Alright."

"Hey, you weren't working alone were you?" Sivert walked up and asked Sierra.

"No. I'm working with three other's."

"Yeah well they've been captured and are being held at the Tower."

Sierra clicked her tongue. "Those idiots.. alright well.. is it possible to free them?"

"Yes but you will not attempt to harm Rimuru. The slime you were also paid to kill. Or you will die before you even come close to him."

Of course her targets were friends..

Sierra shrugged, "Got it.."

"Lethaea?"

"Yup. Will go introduce her to everyone! Come on Lyra."

"What? Hey!"

Lyra was pulled by Lethaea and the four vanished.

"Make sure that Hunter doesn't try anything." Sivert ordered Sigrun and Kaguya.

They nodded and left, leaving Sivert alone with Aria.

Since there was a lot of destruction from the slaughter, Sivert started to clean it all up. Healing the destroyed portions of the ground using the Light.

Cleaning up any bodies and blood..

Making it seem as if nothing happened at all.

"Rimuru was right.. you do look cool in your all black clothing." Aria whispered to the Hunter.

A complete change of subject but Sivert didn't mind.

Sivert closed his eyes and used his Universal sense to see all that was commencing with Falmuth's army.

Rimuru was wiping them out with ease.. using some.. ability Sivert wasn't able to comprehend at the moment.

Not through Universe Sense at least.

However he suddenly felt another familiar presence..

Though he did not look in their direction. They were standing on the large branch of a tree on the side of the road. Looking at him.

Believing they were hidden.

"Luminous, leave before I see your presence here as part of the invasion."

Sivert's tone was hostile and the Demon Lord could tell he was serious.

He's not sure why she's here but she's wearing a black cloak.. so she obviously didn't want to be noticed. That and she's containing her aura, but he could still sense her.

Luminous smiled and giggled.

Amused by this change of Sivert after so many years of not seeing him.

"You are quite loyal to the slime. I must say I am jealous."

Why couldn't he submit and serve her like that? Oh Luminous would've had a trump card indeed.

"Rest assured. I only came to collect a fool. But I do hope to meet you again. You seem to have matured more."

"I hope the opposite."

Sivert responded, his tone not as hostile as before but still cold.

Luminous giggled some more. "Still cold as always.."

She only came to watch and see if things were.. going as they said they would and to pick up a subordinate who didn't follow the plans.

She never knew Sivert was here, she just felt his presence.

Much darker and… stronger.

Quite intriguing, she's glad she got to see the fall of the Hero he once was.

From being a kind and gentle individual to a being filled with Dark Luster.

Even massacring an army of humans it seems.

"Oh.. hold on."

"Tch."

Sivert did not want to deal with her.

"Relax. Since you're here. I might as well fulfill my end of the bargain we made years ago. Remember?"

Luminous owed Sivert..

"If you try to suck my blood-"

"No. I just want to teach you something that might be helpful to you in the future."

Now that caught Sivert's attention.

Luminous begun sharing valuable information to him via thought communication. Something she hasn't told anyone else..

Sivert was surprised that she'd reveal this to him.. a valuable secret. One that indeed will be very useful to him now that he has many followers.

The Secret of Faith and Grace..

The Demon Lord left and Sivert pondered about what he was just taught. He's been desiring to learn this after gaining followers..

This will help him and the Guardians..

A lot!

He stayed in his position as ordered, preventing anyone of Falmuth from entering or leaving.

No one managed to escape though. Meaning everyone from the Falmuth army has been killed.

Sivert stayed there as ordered and has for quite some time, the other's returned to his side and waited with him.

Until he felt it..

The immense aura of a Demon Lord..

Hahaha…

Rimuru has done it.

He has awakened, however Sivert will still remain here. Not wanting any surprises for Rimuru who is resurrecting his friends.

Sivert never thought he'd feel or ever be there to witness the birth of a Demon Lord.

Well.. he wasn't there. He just saw it through universal sense but it was still a cool sight!

"I trust everything has went well?"

The High Elf Rhaegar asked as soon as he appeared before Sivert.

Sivert looked down at him and hovered down onto the ground where he stood in front of him.

"Yup. What about you?"

"I have done as you asked. Those three are locked up and their ghosts are disabled. They revealed that they were hired by a merchant to assassinate you and Rimuru along with one other." The Elf explained.

Sivert chuckled lightly, "Well I dealt with that other one. She decided to join us.. maybe. But if she tries anything then I'll kill her."

"Is that so? This day sure has it's surprises."

"I know. Anyways, I'm going to stay here for a little longer."

"Then so will I." Rhaegar quickly responded.

Sivert smiled in relief.

He didn't like standing here in silence. Sivert at least wanted to chat with someone.

The Lightbearer's walked down the main road and were quickly greeted by the Head of Security Rigur.

"Lord Sivert. It is great to see you."

"Nice to see you to. I trust everything went well?"

"Yes! It was successful! The citizens were revived but Lord Rimuru is currently in a slumber."

Well that made sense. Sivert's not sure what he did but it probably took a lot of energy out of him.

"That's a relief… I'm glad your loved ones were brought back. We're staying here until Rimuru wakes up so is there anything that needs to be done? I'll gladly help out."

Rigur was quick to reply with a small nod.

"Yes Sir. Currently there are refugees heading here from Eurazania due to the threat made by Demon Lord Milim."

"What?"

That was all news to Sivert.

What threat?!

"Yes.. we are not sure of Lady Milim's intentions but she has declared war according to Sir Benimaru."

Oh..

Why was she doing such a thing like that..

"If you'd be so kind. Would you please prepare to welcome the refugees. We estimate they should be here soon."

Uh..

Oh boy.

Milim isn't the only problem. Sivert knows Lycanthropes, their way of living is entirely different to how Tempest is..

They'll have a hard time listening to those guiding them as they only listen to those who are stronger than them.

Sivert's had a tough time with them when he first visited Eurazania, well… Not after he defeated Carrion in a duel..

They were treating him with respect and Sivert was getting flooded with Lycanthrope beauties who wanted to become his wife and bear his children.

Oh…

Sivert secretly misses those days.

"Alright. I'll help make sure everything goes smoothly. Take care Rigur."

The Hobgoblin nodded before walking away.

Sivert continued walking down the road into Tempest with Rhaegar at his side. Exploring the damaged city.

The Hunter was glad to see everybody still happy despite all that happened. This is one of the main reasons why he loves Tempest.

The friendly atmosphere it radiates is soothing for Sivert..

Sivert eventually spotted a group of Lightbearer's whom he quickly recognized.

Wrecker's..

Sivert walked towards the group who quickly spotted him.

"Sivert. Good to see you." The leader Rance greeted the Hunter.

"Good to see you guys to. Thanks for being here.. I'm sorry that you all had to witness the horror's Falmuth caused."

"Ain't no problem mate! We killed the lot of them!" The Hunter Link responded with a thumbs up.

"Were helping out where we can now since Rimuru succeeded. I heard there's going to be a festival once Rimuru awakens."

"Just imagine the food!" Lion whispered in excitement.

Sivert chuckled, "Alright. Take care. I'll try to see if I can hook you guys up with some points for your work."

Those words got the fireteam excited!

"You're the best Sivert! See ya later!"

The fireteam departed.

"Oh.. and Wreckers."

The fireteam stopped at Sivert's words, turning to look at him.

"I understand the anger you had but please try to not resort to such brutal executions again. We are not butchers, do not forget that."

Sivert witnessed it all with Universal Sense but he didn't stop them. He let them release their anger on the prisoners they captured.

Rance nodded, "Sorry about that.. we were pissed off that's all. We won't do it again."

"Thank you."

Rance gave him a wave before departing with his fireteam.

"Brutal executions?" Rhaegar quietly asked.

"You should've seen it. They tore the limbs off a man."

Oh..

That is quite brutal.

"But he deserved it."

Sivert finished and walked off into the town with Rhaegar.

A Day Later

The two stood at the side of the town entrance, watching as the first group of refugees appeared.

They were confused and nervous but it was understandable.

Still..

Sivert's concerned about Carrion. He does not stand a chance against Milim the daughter of God…

The Hunter shivered at the thought of Milim coming here next.

The casualties..

Not only that, but Sivert would be unable to conceal his presence when fighting against someone like her.

Revealing his survival to Guy who'd definitely come over and trouble things even more.

"Hey.. can you stop looking at them like that?" Sivert asked Rhaegar.

The High Elf was portraying a calm but.. bored expression that someone would definitely mistake it as him looking down on them.

"I am not causing trouble."

"You will.. just wat-"

"You! Got a problem?!"

Yup..

Sivert saw that coming.

A large bull like Lycanthrope walked up to Rhaegar. Not taking kindly to his expression.

"Return to your line before you get hurt.." Sivert told the Lycanthrope.

This commotion was drawing attention.

"Huh? This guy is nothing! That weapon is just for show! I'll pull it from your corpse!"

The Lycanthrope raised his right fist, preparing to punch Rhaegar.

Rhaegar waited for him to attack and easily evaded by simply stepping to the side.

Now he was allowed to hit back.

Rhaegar struck the man in the chest with the palm of his left hand, sending him crashing into a nearby tree and knocking him unconscious.

The display of power amazed the spectating Lycanthropes.

"Disorderly conduct is strictly prohibited. Please do not attempt such actions again."

A Goblin Rider told the Refugees.

They were quick to obey, though it seems some were looking at Rhaegar with admiration.

"Look at you.. got yourselves some beauties." Sivert pointed out as a few female Lycanthropes were staring at Rhaegar.

"I have a wife.."

His cold reply just made him look cooler.

"Well your missing out by just having one wife. Imagine having multiple!"

"I doubt that. You don't seem to be romantically engaged with anyone."

Sivert sighed and uncrossed his arms.

"I was with one but not anymore. I'm not sure I can anymore to be honest.."

Sure he lays with Lyra and Lethaea all the time but that's to make them happy and to relieve himself of stress.

"Precisely. So I am not missing out on anything." Rhaegar shot back.

Ugh..

Damn this guy.

"Pardon me but you look very familiar."

Sivert turned his head to the left, meeting the green eyes of a familiar Beastketeer.

The Golden Serpent Albis

Sivert did not respond, not wanting to reveal himself.

She stared at him, inspecting Sivert.

"You're the Hero Sivert are you not?"

"You got me mixed up with someone else."

"I doubt that. I recognize you, I watched the battle between you and Lord Carrion."

Well..

There goes that plan.

"Fine, it's me.."

Albis smiled slightly, "I do not understand why you wish to remain hidden but I will not tell anyone else if you do not want me to."

She respected him greatly.

"No it's fine.. Everybody in Tempest knows me. So you were bound to find out either way."

He just did it unconsciously since Sivert has been denying all those who call him Sivert to keep his identity a secret for a long time now..

"You serve under Lord Rimuru?"

"Yup."

That surprised the Lycanthrope, "Did he defeat you?"

What other reason was there for Sivert to be serving under Rimuru?

"Yeah. He kicked my ass.."

Sivert's reply made Rhaegar uneasy but if it his master wanted to be seen as a lackey for Rimuru then he wouldn't interfere.

"Amazing.."

Rimuru did what Carrion could not. He truly was something.

"Seeing you here brings me great relief."

With Sivert helping! Then victory against Clayman is absolute! Albis is confident.

"ATTENTION ALL RESIDENTS. LORD RIMURU HAS AWAKENED!"

The announcement was heard throughout the town.

"Forgive me I must go."

"Of course."

Albis quickly departed and Sivert continued monitoring the refugees entering the city.

Oh boy..

There was a lot.

But luckily Tempest was capable of sheltering them and feeding them for now.

Eventually the refugees were gathered in one of the open training fields where Sivert and Rhaegar watched as Rigur gave a welcoming speech.

Even portraying a strong presence while explaining the rules of the country.

However that presence vanished once he finished explaining and added one last thing.

"I hope you'll all join in the festivities."

Right..

The Temple resurrection Festival!

Haha!

Sivert couldn't wait to gobble down some food!

"Now's a good chance for you to try the meals." He shoulder bumped the High Elf Rhaegar.

Rhaegar adjusted his glasses, "I hope they are as delicious as you described."

He hasn't ate anything in years. Not that he needed food. But it didn't hurt to eat something new!

Well..

There goes Sivert's fun. Rhaegar didn't seem to care about it because he was focused on eating his food but Sivert lost his appetite when seeing…

Rimuru's new subordinate..

So his aura is the one Sivert felt.. the Hunter wondered who's aura that was.

It felt familiar but he didn't put much mind to it because he thought it was Rimuru's new demon lord aura.

Sivert stared at him and has been for nonstop ever since Rimuru called Sivert here.

Hoping to conversate but it was just complete silence from the Hunter.

"Is something wrong?" Rimuru asking worryingly.

He's never seen Sivert like that.

Sivert did not respond nor did he touch any food.

He's been around 3 of them for years and knows the sight of one when he sees them..

That black hair..

Ahh..

It was obvious which color.

Black King Noir…

Primordial Demon and once an old rival of Guy. The Demon Lord said they fought to a draw many many years ago.

It was obvious Rimuru didn't know who he was as well.

What makes things even more worrying is that Rimuru named him!

A Primordial Demon!

Diablo was his name…

Sivert wouldn't be too worried if it was another Primordial because he'd just rip them apart with ease if they planned on causing harm to Rimuru or destruction to Tempest.

Aside from Guy who'd be more troubling but..

Diablo was a different case.

If what Guy said was true then Diablo is an abnormal demon.

Even if Sivert ripped him apart he'd just reappear the next second. No matter how many times he killed him.

Diablo would just resurrect the next second.

Usually it'd take a ton of years for a Demon to resurrect, even for the other Primordials.

But not for Diablo and that is what made him abnormal.

"No.. nothing's wrong."

Sivert said in response, he didn't want to tell Rimuru the truth in fear of Diablo's true nature getting out.

Which would draw a lot of unnecessary attention for Sivert and Rimuru.

He's not sure what Diablo is up to but he'll find out later..

"Did everything go alright with your mission?"

"Yeah.. no one entered or escaped."

Rimuru smiled a little. "Thank you. Once again I apologize for making you do that."

"Stop it already.."

It was Sivert's job to worry about Rimuru! Not Rimuru's job to worry about Sivert!

"So what's going on with.. Milim? Do you know?"

Rimuru's smile slowly vanished, replaced with a serious but worried expression.

"I'm not fully sure but I think she's under the control of Demon Lord Clayman. Or else there's no way she'd do such a thing. But… recently we were told by Phobio, one of the three Beastketeers that Carrion was defeated by Demon Lord Frey who helped Milim."

Ugh..

Three Demon Lord's now? Sivert was starting to get a headache..

"However we believe he's still alive as Frey took Carrion with her towards Jistav, the puppet state."

That was relieving to hear.

"Sivert.. you've traveled the world a lot in the past. Do you have any knowledge on why Frey would do this or what Clayman might be up to?" Rimuru asked, knowing Sivert had some encounter's with Carrion and Frey thanks to the stories he'd tell.

The Hunter placed one leg on another and leaned back against his chair.

"Well.. Clayman's small fry. You could defeat him with no problem whatsoever and Frey.. I've only known her for a year but I'm positive she'd never ally herself with the likes of Clayman and neither would Milim either.. but I also doubt she could be controlled.." Sivert could not believe that someone like Clayman could control Milim.

Hearing that from Sivert made Rimuru's confidence boost up but that made him curious.

"You know Frey?"

"Yeah we.. we had our moments." Sivert slowly explained..

"Don't tell me you actually managed to-"

"No.. well.. now that I think about it. I did kind of leave her without answering her feelings.."

"Your a horrible man.." Rimuru said.

Sivert sighed, "Back to the main subject. As for what Clayman's planning.. I'm not sure but I'm confident, with your rise to True Demon Lord that he'll try to call for a Walpurgis and pin the other demon Lord's against you. He's a coward after all."

"Walpurgis?"

"A meeting for Demon Lord's.. I don't know much other than it happens every few hundred years."

Rimuru lifted his right hand and gently caressed his chin.

"Clayman controlled Myuran and aimed to increase the damage when Falmuth and the Church attacked. Not to mention that he used Milim to destroy our allied Nation Eurazania. I don't know why he's acting behind the scenes but I can't forgive this guy."

Sivert simply nodded in response. Understanding the anger Rimuru must feel.

"Sivert. I will declare myself a Demon Lord.."

"You wish to reveal yourself to the Ten Great Demon Lord's?"

"Yes."

Sivert grinned, loving this new side of Rimuru.

"Then you have my support along with the other Lightbearer's."

The slime smiled. Now he felt even more confident now that the Lightbearer's decided to assist. Allowing Rimuru to go all out against Clayman while they protected Tempest.

"I'll leave now."

"You sure you don't want to stay any longer?"

Sivert didn't touch a drink or a dish of food..

"No I've been away from my friends for some time. I'll be back soon though don't worry."

That was a lie..

Sivert was now curious about Frey's intentions, so..

He was going to pay a visit to his old friend.

Sivert held out his right hand and balled it into a fist.

Rimuru smiled and did the same thing.

The two fist bumped and Sivert prepared to leave.

"Wait! Hold on. I almost forgot." Rimuru said, drawing his sword.

Sivert titled his head slightly in confusion.

"Kneel."

A sudden order but Sivert obeyed..

Rimuru positioned his Katana on Sivert's right shoulder and moved it to the left.

"Uhh.. Hmm. Alright.. On this day and until the end of time. You are now Lord of Sol's Peak. You may rise Lord Light."

Oh..

This was quite.. something indeed.

Sivert now officially ruled over the area around the Temple and the Temple itself.

Rimuru has never done this and this might be the only time he'd ever do it. Those who watched clapped their hands and celebrated.

Cheering Sivert's name.

"Thank you."

Rimuru only smiled in response, sheathing his katana.

Sivert stood up and bowed before turning around to leave.

"Oh wait. One more thing. Here, I know you've been wanting more."

The Hunter turned around and snapped his fingers, a wooden crate full of golden bottles of wine appeared in front of Rimuru.

The slime took a closer look of the wine, he saw an engraving on the bottles.

"Light's Relief? Wait.."

He started a business without him?!

Rimuru had everything planned! He just needed to tell Sivert about it!

The money they could've made together!

"You traitor!"

"Hehe. Enjoy!"

Sivert left and walked away while Rhaegar followed but soon broke off towards another direction.

There was still so much food to try!

Rimuru crossed his arms and pouted.

"Well.. I'm glad I got more."

Rimuru has been craving it for some time.

He safely stored the crate inside his stomach in hopes of using his newly acquired Ultimate Skill Raphael to analyze the wine so he could copy it's recipe!

"But sucks for you Sivert…"

With his newly acquired ultimate skill! Rimuru has won this battle-

{Failed to fulfill master's wishes.}

WHAT!?

No!

Rimuru was hoping to copy it and get revenge against Sivert but he can't?

According to Raphael it just wasn't copyable..

But Rimuru suspected Sivert had something to do with the failure!

He truly did not want it to be copied..

"Damn you.. I'll get you next time you bastard.."

Rimuru still had some tricks up his sleeves!

She sat elegantly on her red couch in her luxurious room.

"I'm surprised you contacted me my dear Sivert." The Harpy Queen greeted him along with a small smile.

He stood in front of her. His arms crossed.

"Yeah, but I won't be long. I have questions."

"Regarding Milim? Do not worry."

Sivert raised a brow at her words, "How'd you know I-"

"Nemu was at Tempest. She told me you were there and served under Rimuru."

"Your daughter was there? No way. I'd have seen he- or nevermind actually.."

Sivert knew that little harpy quite well. Her constant sleeping in odd places would explain why he's never seen her there. She's hard to notice when he's focused on many other things.

"So about Milim.."

"As I said, she is fine.."

"Frey.. she attacked Carrion and you finished the jo-" Sivert did not finish due to Frey's gazing at him Longley..

He gazed into her beautiful eyes..

"You both planned that? Or planned something."

"Sharp as always." Frey complimented with a small nod.

Sivert chuckled and shook his head, of course they were both up to something!

"So Carrion's not dead?"

"No but don't tell anyone."

"Got it."

Sivert knew better then to get in her way. Whatever Frey had planned, he best let her go as she wants.

"I apologize for suddenly contacting you then."

"Nonsense."

Frey stood up, "Your company is one I value greatly."

"Hmph.."

She was a charmer...

Frey is one of the few that are capable of seducing Sivert as much as he hated to admit but this was also dangerous.

The mood she was.. creating.

"I have a proposition since you seemed to have changed."

"What is it?"

Frey simply smiled at him...

And Sivert would soon regret coming here.

"Ugh..."

He flew through the morning sky, recently departing from the Harpy Kingdom after spending a long night with their Queen..

"I can't believe I did that.."

"Don't worry. I don't mind."

"Not.. that. Nevermind.."

Aria was confused but didn't press further.. she actually pushed Sivert into making that choice since she thought it'd be great for him.

Sivert however was now worried..

He lost.. a lot of strength and he knows why but he couldn't resist Frey! Fortunately, he secured an ally for Tempest at least..

Sivert suddenly halted his movement in the air..

"Something wrong?" Aria asked.

"I..."

There wasn't a full response, just plain on silence now..

Sivert's eyes suddenly glowed and he vanished to his throne world with Aria in tow.

The Hunter hovered in the air. He was in his land.

King's Domain.

The cold winds blew against his face..

He was close to where his Pyramid Ship is.

Sivert was just staring straight ahead in silence.

He lifted his right hand and pointed two fingers.

He brought his hand down and up, creating a triangular shaped portal.

Aria focused on the portal.

Sivert used his Light to create it.. along with the mix of his Darkness? He wasn't saying anything to her either..

Not answering her questions.. or saying what he was doing. He just fell silent and started doing this..

Whatever he was doing must be serious..

Sivert slowly hovered towards the portal and entered.

Aria quickly followed but was rejected by the portal. It blasted her away, amazing her from the power.

The portal closed.

"Sivert!"

Aria shouted..

What..

What just happened?!

Sivert opened his eyes and looked around.

"What…"

He could've sworn he was flying..

Now he was in some..

Garden?

It looked similar to the Black Garden.

"Welcome."

Sivert turned around and looked up at the same Dragon he saw in that dream.

The dragon was large, it had cyan scales along with four legs, two large wings and smooth spines going down his neck and onto his back.

"You.. who are you? Where am I? Where's my ghost?!"

Sivert couldn't feel Aria's presence nor.. anybody's except this guy's!

"Your little friend? Oh.. forgive me I did not bring her with. As for where you are.. well this is a place where time flows differently. An isolated domain where billions of years here could only be but several minutes in the Cardinal World. I used your power combined with mine to create it."

An isolated domain..

"As for who I am.. I believe you know that already Sivert."

The dragon lowered its head and Sivert stared into his eyes..

Veldora?

No…

No.

Not even close.

Sivert's felt the Storm Dragon's aura once when exploring the Jura Forest years ago. It was nothing like this!

"A True Dragon.."

"Mhm.."

The dragon waited for Sivert to finish.

"You're the Star King Dragon Veldanava!"

Veldanava smiled softly, enjoying Sivert's reaction.

He was in disbelief.

"I'm glad I got to finally meet my piece." he said, raising his head.

"Piece?"

"Well you technically are a part of me in a way. I split my soul, nearly killing myself. Did you not know this already?"

Sivert simply nodded in response.

So it was true..

"But why?" The Hunter asked, why would he do such a thing.

"Well.. I liked to tell myself it was because that universe was so full of life and I was bored with mine. But mostly it was in hopes that their stupid game would end."

Veldanava casually replied.

His laid back tone is nothing at all Sivert expected from the one some people call 'God'.

"And well.. I wanted to see what would happen to the soul but never got to.. But look at you now! You became your own individual person. I'm so happy of how the results turned out!" he cheerfully added on.

"Wait.. what did you mean by 'Their stupid game.'"

"Huh? Oh. Well I don't know much aside that they are the sources of your two paracausal powers. Um.. but by the looks of it."

Veldanava leaned close to Sivert, examining him.

"They seemed to have transformed themselves into skills. Your two ultimate skills contain their ego's no.. their entire existence."

"Gardener and Winnower?"

Those were the names of his two ultimate skills and Sivert's heard those names a few times in the past.

"Yes! That's it! Though it seems they are both too shy to talk to you. How cute!"

"What…"

Sivert's Ultimate Skills were the forms of the sources of the Light and the source of the Dark?

"Their little game ended once you cleared up the board. Just as I hoped. Now their only curious and focused on you by the looks of it. Wanting to stay with you forever and watch you progress in life."

"What are you saying?"

"You are now the source of the Light and the Dark. The second you were brought to my world they were able to gain influence through you. Now they are a part of you and where you go is where the Light and Dark have influence in."

The Hunter was silent, amazed by all of this..

He was more powerful then he thought. Paracausal wise at least. He was more focused on his True Dragon level strength. Never on his Light or Darkness powers.

"You still have much to learn and discover."

"Is that why you brought me here?"

"Yes. Exactly why but to also request something from you.. and just to chat.. It's been lonely.."

His tone was sad but at the moment Sivert didn't care.

He had so many questions..

"How come you're resurrecting now? Out of all these years? You have a daughter and you just left her."

Veldanava looked up at the bright sky.

"Well I just wanted to see how the world progresses without 'God'." He responded and added on.

"I do love my daughter with all my heart but with how she is now. I believe it's best we not meet for a while longer... though I'm disappointed she turned out just like my younger brother Veldora."

Veldanava did not want that. Even telling Veldora to stay away from her.

But sadly it happened either way..

"But I'm mostly here to fix you. You're a mess you know that?"

Ouch..

Sivert was a little hurt by that.

"Not talking about your life but.. your body. I know your transformation was forced because of the dense magicules but good grief! I'm amazed you haven't exploded yet. Oh wait... most of that energy is gone now? I could've sworn you.."

Veldanava was so confused!

"Yeah I lost a lot of energy when conceiving a child with a Harpy." The Hunter bluntly admitted.

That made sense..

"Oh. Well your still a mess."

Sivert couldn't believe what he was hearing..

"A few more years and boom! Gone you go."

The Hunter felt like such an idiot for not seeing his condition. He thought he was fine..

Not a walking bomb!

"By the way! I'm glad my younger sister has taken a liking to you. But from looking at your memories.. it seems things haven't gone well."

"No they have not.." Sivert replied with a little anger.

"I can see why your angry. I would be to if.. the first women I loved simply watched as I was pushed into Hell."

Sivert's glad he's not the only one..

"She never truly loved me anyways. She was only interested in me because I was like a second you."

Veldanava shook his head.

"No, well yes.. at first she did but as she got closer she started developing feelings for you. For Sivert Light. The reason she did not interfere was because of the role I gave Guy. He is the mediator and well.. when an abnormal guy like you ends up in the world. Managing to defeat him and Velzard. You got to understand he was fearing the safety of the world. Even if you harbored good intentions."

Guy never planned for Sivert to grow so strong. It was his miscalculations that led him to create Sivert as he is now.

Sivert was silent for a moment before responding.

"Well at least Guy had a reason. Velzard did not. I don't know if promises mean anything to you True Dragons but they mean a lot to me and many others."

Sivert remembers her words clearly.

"Don't worry! If Guy was to ever attack you! I promise I'll fight with you!"

Hearing her voice made Sivert silence his memories for the moment.

"You don't think she regrets her choice?" Veldanava asked in a soft tone.

Sivert was silent again. In deep ponder about those words..

But he shook his head and lashed out at the True Dragon.

"Even so.. due to both their actions. My closest friend.. the one I treasured so much died in my hands! Now you tell me! What if the people you cared most about died in your hands because of some bitch who couldn't keep her promise?!"

The Star King Dragon was swiftly silenced by those words.

"Would you easily forgive them? Even if you managed to bring them back? The pain you felt. THE PAIN I FELT?!"

Sivert placed a finger on his own chest.

"I've died so many times I've lost count. I've been riddled with bullets, cut in half, blown up and hell! Even eaten alive a few times! But not even all of that combined together could compare to the pain I felt when losing Aria.. that pain was the worst pain I have ever felt in my Goddamn life."

Sivert pointed at Veldanava.

"Now tell me God. Would you? Would you forgive them?"

Veldanava was still silent as Sivert awaited his answer.

There was none..

The Star King averted his eyes.. unable to look Sivert in the eye after hearing all that.

That was the difference between Sivert and Veldanava.

Sivert was born with no god like powers. Sure he was very intelligent and quick to adapt but that wasn't compared to godly powers like Veldanava's.

Even when being resurrected by the Light. Sivert was still powerless to stop many tragic events in his second life.

The death of his friends..

Veldanava could've stopped all of that with ease. He was born with fancy powers!

Just like his younger siblings! All born with god like abilities.

Yet despite the pain and suffering he's gone through. Sivert persisted in life, no matter what..

That is also why Velzard has fallen in love with him.

He's felt more pain then her and her siblings combined have ever felt. Yet he still kept going..

Rising up..

Growing Stronger.

Until the death of Aria.

The one who supported him the most and has been with him his entire second life.

That pain was enough to stop Sivert in his tracks..

Even with her resurrection. The pain still lingers.

Sivert sighed.. calming down.

"I'm sorry.. I shouldn't have brought your loved ones into that.."

And he apologized for his words.

Veldanava looked back at him and finally gave a response.

"Do not be. I will never fully understand your pain but that is the reason I have chosen to bring you here."

Sivert looked up at him in confusion.

"I want to help you get stronger. So you never have to feel that pain again. So you may be able to protect your loved ones.."

Veldanava looked up at the sky once more.

"We are different.. that is why I am also intrigued by you. You are so beautiful.."

Veldanava has never faced the struggles of life, he may have lost his wife but he hasn't died several times..

He hasn't been killed brutally in so many ways..

He'd be lying if he said he didn't want to feel all of that.

That's what made life beautiful in his eyes..

The wonders..

Veldanava looked down at Sivert.

"I do not expect you to forgive Guy or even Velzard. But.. I ask that you give them another chance. At least.. my younger sister. She loves you so very much and.. I can feel her regret. Even through space and time."

Those words touched Sivert but he wouldn't be able to easily forgive them both.

"I… will try. I just know if I saw them soon I'd be filled with rage. I still need time."

"I understand.." his reply was quick.

"So.. what do you intend to do with me?"

"Well like I said. To help you get stronger and fix you. We have all the time we need. You will gain millions of years of knowledge and experience. I will help you master your Light and Dark so you may keep their balance. But I ask for one thing in exchange.."

Oh boy..

Sivert wasn't sure how he felt about that last sentence.

"What is it?"

Veldanava pointed at Sivert.

"Will you become the Guardian of Another World? Specifically the Cardinal World."

Heh…

That request strangely amused him.

"You want me to protect your world? You have Guy for that. Why do you need me?"

"Well Guy's a mediator. He protects the world but also makes sure there's a balance of power so it doesn't get chaotic. It's thanks to him that Humanity hasn't gone extinct."

Without a mediator, Humanity would soon walk the path of destruction. They would show their true nature and desires, even beginning to slaughter each other. That was simply how humans were as a species.

"But.. to focus solely on protecting the world. Well.. there's no one else I'd trust more than you with the task. I've seen how you protect things.. you're a true Guardian."

Sivert couldn't believe this was happening.

Being offered a role by God himself.

"Your free to do what you want but just don't go causing genocide or anything."

"I'm not Guy."

Veldanava chuckled while Sivert crossed his arms and gave his response.

"I'll do it.."

Sivert has grown fond of the world, hell this universe entirely.

Despite its chaotic nature it has its moments.

"Good! Good! Thank you very much. I hope you're ready to spend billions of years learning of what your truly capable of."

Billions of years…

Good grief.

"You sure only a few minutes will go by in the Cardinal World or my Throne World?"

"Yes. I am positive… maybe a day or two depending how long we take.."

Well if God says so then Sivert had no more doubts.

"How should we start?"

"First, let us start with a duel."

Ugh..

Sivert was about to fight God himself now..

He took a deep breath and summoned his Lubrae's Ruin Glaive.

"Ready?"

"Of course."

Veldanava responded with a smirk.

Sivert went all out, attacking Veldanava with one of his strongest attacks.

"OOOMPH!"

The Hunter was simply punched and sent crashing deep into the ground..

He..

Had all his barriers up, ranging from Multi-Layer to Multi-dimensional barriers..

Yet with a single punch, Veldanava has put him in this sad state.

He couldn't move nor use his skills.

What the hell..

This was unlike anything he's ever faced.

"It's going to be a painful billion years." Sivert whispered as he groaned in pain.

That attack hurt him spiritually as well..

Meaning Pain Resistance was not going to work.

But Sivert will not quit..

This was something he's been craving for, a challenge that can allow himself to hone his power's.

A true challenge.

And fighting The Star King Dragon will be that challenge.

End!

So.. here's chapter 30..

This chapter was a big pain in my ass because I didn't know how to finish it.. It's long..

Longer then my other chapters.

Aside from that, I had fun writing it as well..

I already have much written in the next few chapter's and I'm excited to write more scenes with Frey and Sivert.

Maybe even a Lemon just to add more life to their secret little relationship I established. Though.. with upcoming events..

Sivert will soon realize just how that night with her was.. pointless as well as her proposition that I will soon reveal.

Anyways, I expect criticism for my choice here but I don't mind much. I welcome it as long as whoever is criticizing me isn't a dick about it because this is just a fan fic and..

From what I've seen..

There's way worse...

Hope you enjoyed and see you guys next time.
