Motoi let out a gentle sigh as he stared at the contents of his tea, the liquid steaming at just the right temperature, it's jasmine smell flooding his nostrils and enveloping him in a calmness that not even meditation could accomplish.

Last night had been... rough, for the lack of a better term.

Yugito had joined him and Killer B for dinner, or rather she sat and glared at her plate of rice, fried pork slices and grapes while B hummed to himself and wrote in his little notebook of lyrics and Motoi just sat there awkwardly, trying to ignore the tension. Yugito's training in mastering the Nibi's power had yet to make any meaningful progress, the poor girl was still stuck at the Waterfall of Truth and her mood seemed to only worsen because of it. Motoi had attempted at offering the young Chūnin some advice, to try and get her on the right track of mastering the first step, but the girl's fiery temper, paranoia and general distrust of others made such attempts futile.

With a shake of his head and sigh, Motoi reached down to take a sip of his tea before a violent tremor shook the room he was in, causing his tea to spill out on to the table's surface.

"Hmm, that was the last of my jasmine." Motoi groaned as he stood up and reached out with his senses to see if he could not only pinpoint the source of the tremor, but it's cause.

He didn't have to look long, a brief spike of Yugito's chakra, followed by her yelling, answered any and all questions he might've had.

With a Shunshin, Motoi silently appeared behind Yugito, who was dressed in dark gray colored pants, a black long sleeve shirt covered in burn marks and her hair done up in a messy pony tail. The young woman was to busy snarling at a now charred tree trunk to notice Motoi's presence, or perhaps she didn't care. The tree's branches laid all around the pair, burnt, while a few leaves, still aflame, floated down to the earth harmlessly. Motoi used this opportunity to further scan the area and found that several other trees were in similar states, though a few sported what appeared to be claw marks on them.

"What do you want?" Yugito snapped as she turned to look over her shoulder at Motoi.

"I was simply checking on you." Motoi calmly explained as he gave an appraising look of the damage done around them "I must say, I dare pity your future opponents. It's rare to encounter anyone as young as you with such a powerful affinity for fire."

Yugito rolled her eyes at this "Yes, I'm sure it has nothing to do with the mass of fiery chakra in my abdomen."

"Not everything about you is a result of the Nibi, Yugito." Motoi said as he watched Yugito kick at the burnt tree trunk, shattered the charred wood and creating a small cloud of ash and wood chips.

Yugito made no reply as she turned her attention towards one of the burning leaves still fluttering to the ground and quickly snatched one out of the air and held it in-between her index finger and thumb.

"Where's B?" she asked as she crushed the burning leaf in her her palm and let the burnt remains crumple to the ground.

"Down by one of the beaches I think, I'm not sure which one. Something about waves helping him think of and I quote 'Come up with lyrics that crash like a wave at a bash'." Motoi said with some embarrassment.

"So he'd rather play in at the beach then help me..." Yugito hummed.

"I wouldn't say that." Motoi said carefully, his eyes darting all over Yugito's form, looking for signs of agitation "He is trying but... well, he's never really had to be a teacher for someone else before."

"He had no problems teaching Samui, Karui or Omi." Yugito said as she turned towards Motoi with a scowl.

"True." Motoi nodded "But there's a difference between them and you. Those three, he trained to be shinobi for our home, for the village. You? He's training you to be so much more."

"One of Kumo's weapons of mass destruction." Yugito scoffed as she turned away from Motoi "Trust me, I'm fully aware of what's expected of me."

"No, he's teaching you to still be human." Motoi stated, causing Yugito to frown "To not become lost in your role or lot in life. To still be... well, to be you."

Yugito was silent for a moment before she suddenly vanished with a Shunshin, leaving Motoi alone in the charred clearing.

After putting out what few smoldering trees there were, Motoi headed down to the coast to seek out B. It didn't take long to find the elder Jinchūriki, he was sitting on a old folding chair by the edge of the water, gazing down at his notebook with a focused expression as he scribbled down whatever words or verses came to him. A few of the animals B had come to tame on the island, large boars, were lying nearby, soaking up the rays of sunshine that pierced through the thick canopy of trees and massive stone like spikes that protruded from underneath the ground.

"B-sama." Motoi said as he approached the elite shinobi.

B held up a finger as he continued to hum to himself, his head bobbing to some unknown tune as he resumed scribbling his next lyric.

"Small and lithe but burns hotter then the sun, that girl can really be no fun..." B hummed with a nod before he turned in his seat and looked at Motoi with a grin "My lyrics will be as fiery as little miss two's, people everywhere will be scrambling everywhere to hear even without shoes!"

That was... not the worst Motoi's heard.

"Yes, well..." Motoi cleared his throat as he folded his arms across his chest "Yugito has burnt that small field by the house... again."

"Could hear her displeasure from here, her temper sure can strike in the fear!" B sang as he gestured towards the boar that did seem a little spooked in Motoi's eyes "These boars thought four show they were cooked, little miss two's flames were ensure their consumers will try to be booked!"

"Thankfully Yugito has no taste for unnecessary bloodshed." Motoi sighed in relief.

As bad as Yugito's outbursts could be, she's only ever directed her ire to the various trees, boulders, long abandoned temples and the ocean, leaving the local wildlife untouched, though terrified of the young kunoichi's wrath. But at the rate things were going, Yugito might very well end up scorching the entirety of the island's surface by the end of the month, a rather unappealing outcome for all involved.

"Any suggestions for the girl that can melt the ice with a quick burning slice?" B said as he leaned back in his seat and stared up at the clouds overhead, his head bobbing up and down to some tune only he could hear.

"Perhaps she simply needs a change of scenery?" Motoi suggested as he looked around at the various tall trees, vines, bushes and what few animals were visible further down the beach with a look of resignation "This place doesn't exactly scream 'calm' and 'serene'."

And just to prove his point, a monstrous roar could be heard in the distance.

"Maybe we can speak o your brother about granting her Leave to the Land of Redaku? You once mentioned that it was quite peaceful and even your bijū was clam the whole time you were visiting. Perhaps it will do her and the temper of her bijū some good?" Motoi suggested with a thoughtful expression on his face.

Motoi believed that Yugito needed to get away not only from the village for a while, but Kaminari no Kuni as well. It was filled with too many painful memories, and all Turtle island seemed to be doing was exasperating her already horrid temper to new levels Motoi didn't think a young girl like her was capable of possessing. But alas, the Yondaime Raikage forbade either B or Yugito from ever leaving Kaminari no Kuni under any circumstances short of open war against another nation, and even then, only one could be allowed to leave at a time while the other stayed behind, which in of itself was a rare occasion. And because of Yugito's age and lack of control, the Raikage will be more inclined to keep her around then his brother, who was older, stronger and more experienced and wouldn't likely start a war by incinerating the wrong person.

"I try to get little miss two-y a pass to go some place nice, but my broth'a keeps giving me the painful spice! All my efforts end up patoory, even with help from Mabui!" B rapped, his arms moving in exaggerated angles and bending in ways that Motoi figured was the result of being the host to a beast that was half octopus.

Still a little unsettling to see a man's arm bend at the elbow in a way that would snap another's three times over though.

...

Yugito sighed as she rested her chin on her knees and continued to stare out at the ocean, on the opposite end of the island from where she could sense Killer B.

She wished Karui, Omi and Samui were with her, aside from being one of the few people in the whole village that were genuinely nice to her, they also made for great sparring partners, unlike her current deadbeat of a sensei, B. Karui and Omi's skill with a katana kept her on her feet and while Samui's skills with her tantō rivaled that of her teammates, the real challenge from her was the use of water style and wind style to perfectly counter Yugito's fire and lightning.

'Heh, leave it to the girl always saying 'cool' to have elements that can be used to cool things.' Yugito thought with a small grin.

She wondered if the three had been on any missions as of late and if they have, was Samui still hooking up with guys that struck her fancy, even after the poisoning attempt a while back. Karui would do it to, but far less often then Samui did, mostly because of the previous poisoning attempt, and only if another person was there to possibly assist her if things went south in a not so good manner. She's tried to get Yugito in on it once, hooking up with foreign men, or women since Yugito had no real preference so long as they were attractive and not an asshole, but the blonde Jinchūriki could never follow through with it.

Partly was her paranoia, but mostly because Yugito didn't need the label of 'whore' or 'slut' attached to her list of already demeaning insults from the village. Plus none of the people ever suggested to her by Karui ever matched her standards, which she didn't think were that high. All they had to be was cute, smart, not a jerk and not from a nation that Kumo was at war with.

Sadly, Raikage-sama has lately been pissing everyone off it seemed for one reason or another, recently it was 'tactically acquiring' another Village's Kekkei genkai. Personally Yugito never saw what the whole fuss about these Kekkei genkai were, so some shinobi could mold their chakra to make an elemental jutsu outside the basic five elements, big deal, she could create spheres of chakra that fit in the palm of her hand that were capable of leveling entire mountains if she wished.

'Like to see some Hyūga's Byakugan pull that off.' Yugito thought with a faint grin before it vanished at the sound of a dark chuckle in the darkest recesses of her mind.

'But sooo much easier to control, no?' a dark voice purred.

"S-Shut up!" Yugito growled as she buried her face into her knees, all the while the Nibi laughed.

The monstrous cat's taunts have grown worse since Yugito had been brought to this island to learn how to control it's power. Before, Yugito could ignore the beast's poisonous words, it wasn't exactly hard to drain out the vile insults, threats and backhanded comments thanks to Omi and Karui's rather comedic antics, but now all she could ever hear is the flaming feline's words whenever she was alone with her thoughts. No matter how hard she tires, the Nibi's voice will slip through whatever cracks in her mental defenses she has and torment her.

'Hmm, you'd think they'd try to acquire a Sharingan instead. Those wretched eyes would be sooo much easier to use to keep you and me in line. We act up, they put us under until THEY think it's alright... assuming they ever let us wake up.' the Nibi muttered before chuckling 'Wouldn't that be fun? Us, trapped together in a never ending dream? Think of all the fun we can have. The 'girl talk' we can partake in!'

"Shut the hell up!" Yugito hissed as she reached up to rub her temples.

'Of course boys won't be much of a topic with you, even Omi wouldn't be caught dead with you in public.' the Nibi giggled darkly 'How many nights have you lied in your bed, crying yourself to sleep knowing that you'll never find someone that wants to be with you?'

"I SAID SHUT UP!" Yugito climbed to her feet, wisps of fire dancing across her arms and shoulders as her eyes began to flicker between the usual dark brown, almost black in color, to the green and yellow irises of the Nibi.

'Aww, is the wee kitten angry? Good.' the Nibi hissed 'If I can't be happy and free, I'll damn well make sure you can't be either little girl.'

"FUCK YOU!" Yugito hissed as she closed her eyes and concentrated on B's chakra signature and quickly used a Shunshin to travel to B's location.

Unsurprisingly, he was sitting on his ass, writing in that stupid notebook of his for his stupid rhymes and lyrics. Yugito's body was nearly shaking with anger as she stomped towards B, her eyes now heterochromatic, with her right being a pale yellow and left bright green.

"B!" Yugito shouted when she was only a few feet away from the larger Jinchūriki.

Yugito could just make out Motoi out of the corner of her eye, but quickly dismissed him, her full attention was on the bumbling brute of a man that refused to be a actual mentor for her.

"Hmm?" B sounded as he tapped his lip with the end of his pen before he nodded and proceeded to write down a few verses that came to mind.

"Get up!" Yugito hissed at the man, her nails digging into her palms and drawing blood, which quickly became steam as it dripped along the girl's heated skin.

B made no response as he continued to write in his notebook, casuing Yugito to see red.

"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!" Yugito screamed as she suddenly reached out and snatched B's notebook from his hand.

Motoi tensed as he watched B continue to stare at the hand that was just a second ago, holding his notebook, his pen still poised to write down another verse. Yugito continued to glare at B, her body shaking from anger while B simply stared down at his empty hand for a moment before snapping his fingers and looked towards the young blonde with a grin.

"Lyrics so smooth'n crisp to sink, gone n' a simple blink, oh yeah!"

Yugito stared at the man with wide eyes for several moments as an unnatural silence fell over the clearing.

Motoi felt a chill crawl up his spine as his gaze flickered between B and Yugito while the nearby boars seemed to sense the tension in the air and quickly rose from their resting spots and rushed back into the jungle. B meanwhile continued to grin at Yugito, as if he was unconcerned by the slowly narrowing of Yugito's now multicolored eyes, the flaring of her chakra, and the heat that seemed to be radiating off of her.

"For months I've been here!" Yugito growled out through clenched teeth "For months I've waited for you to train me, to teach me to control the Nibi's power and all you've done, all I ever see you doing, is writing in that stupid book of yours!"

'He doesn't think you have what it takes to be like him. In control. He knows your gonna fail, so why bother with you?' the Nibi whispered in the back of Yugito's mind.

Suddenly B reached into his pocket and withdrew a smaller black notebook and opened it to it's first page and began to write in it, all the while humming as a slew of new lyrics came to mind.

"YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!" Yugito screamed before she suddenly spat out a torrent of fire, directly into Killer B, consuming the man in the blink of an eye before a small explosion erupted from within the inferno and engulfed Yugito and the immediate surrounding area.

"B-sama, Yugito-sama!" Motoi shouted in shock as he made to rush forward and assist the two before the fire suddenly began to recede, slowly converging on it's center until Yugito was visible again, her hand held out with a small orb of dark red, yellow and orange fire hovering over her palm.

Motoi's eyes widened as he stared at the young Jinchūriki, the air around her was thick with heat ripples and chakra while the fabric around the hand 'holding' the flaming orb was starting to burn from the sheer intensity of both.

'It looks like she formed a Bijūdama made entirely from fire...' Motoi thought as Yugito glared at the condensed flaming orb in her hand before she turned and fired threw it out towards the ocean.

The flaming orb hadn't made it ten meters out to into the water before it suddenly exploded in a storm of fire. With Yugito distracted, Motoi took this time to quickly scan the area for signs of B, he doubted the man was caught in the girl's jutsu, but even B couldn't have gotten away unscathed.

Suddenly clapping could be heard from behind Yugito, who quickly turned to see B standing a few meters away, without a spec of dirt on him, grinning at her like an idiot.

"Nice, nice, but no dice. Slippery and quick, but cool as ice, that's me ya fool! Little two-o needs to better watch her back, it's the puuurfect place to get hacked!" B rapped, causing Yuigto to grit her teeth as she raced through several hand signs before bringing her left hand up to her lips and expelled several small fire balls, each one burning so hotly that instead of the traditional red, yellow and orange color, they were largely blue with brilliant white cores with wisps of black at the edges.

'Katon: Homuranagase.'

B grinned even further as he quickly leaped back with a somersault, Yugito's fireballs just narrowly missing him as he landed in a crouch, his cheeks bloating for a second before spewing forth a fountain of ink. Yugito's eyes narrowed as she witnessed her fireballs extinguished by the wave of ink before they widened as the dark wave continued to approach her like a tsunami.

Growling, Yugito brought up her hands and raced through the hand seals of her next jutsu.

'Dragon. Ox. Dog. Tiger.' Yugito thought as she used her chakra to build up the oil in her mouth before spitting it towards B, igniting it as it left the confines of her mouth.

'Katon: Endan.'

Motoi watched with trepidation as Yugito's wave of fire raced forward to meet B's ink wave in a colossal explosion of burning oil and bubbling ink. While the infused water nature of the ink would've normally held up against Yugito's flames, the oil in the jutsu made it hard for B's to completely extinguish the fire. Once more, Motoi could see and sense Yugito pumping more and more chakra into her jutsu while B maintained a steady stream, not in creasing nor decreasing, simply maintaining the current amount.

'Why isn't he trying to overcome Yugito's jutsu?' Motoi thought with confusion as clouds of steam began to envelop the area and spread out into the jungle from the two jutsu's contest of strength.

Eventually the steam became too thick and humid for Yugito to maintain her jutsu without pouring even more chakra into it, thus she was forced to cancel it. B seemed to of been of the same mindset as he ceased his production of ink. Yugito's eyes narrowed as she tried to peer through the thick cloud of steam for the elder Jinchūriki, the nails on her hands lengthening by several inches.

'Where are you?' Yugito thought with a silent snarl as she readied her claws, sharpened and stronger then steel.

A barely audible rustle from behind her caused Yugito to quickly turn, her claws brought up to either cut or stab at B, only to stop halfway as the young Jinchūriki saw no signs of of her elder. Yugito's eyes quickly darted around, looking for signs of the large man before she suddenly felt a presence behind her and the feeling of someone breathing almost right into her ear.

'Raiton: Erekiteru.'

Barely a heartbeat later Yugito felt B's massive hand slam into her back and discharge a strong electrical shock right into her, causing her body to seize up and her mouth to open and utter a silent scream as her muscles tensed up. She's been electrocuted before, both in spars and missions where she's encountered enemy shinobi with Lightning release, but B's lightning had always hurt more given that he'd increase the vibration frequency of his lightning, allowing his jutsu to 'cut' deeper into a person or object with greater penetrative force then even Wind release jutsu.

Motoi winced at the sight, Yugito was not going to be a very happy young woman for quite a while after this "B-sama, are you sure that was wise?"

"Mmm-hmm..." B sounded as Yugito collapsed.

'Hilarious, one hit from him and your done already. No wonder he never feels intimidated or threatened by you, all it takes is one little zap from him and your at his mercy.' the Nibi cooed as Yugito's body was racked with random spasms as B's jutsu surged through her body.

'No... I'm... NOT!' Yugito thought with as snarl as she slowly forced her limbs to move and slowly turn her over so that she was looking up at B with a glare.

"Maybe a a few minutes of lying on yo back will let you-" B began before Yugito was suddenly covered in the red bubbly looking chakra cloak of the Nibi.

The chakra lashed out towards B who quickly leaped back, slapping away a tendril of chakra that followed after him.

"Nezumi Kedama." Yugito yelled before she spewed out a small inferno of blue and black colored fire before it began to segment and slowly morph into small projectiles in the shape of mice.

"Uh-oh!" B said with wide eyes at the fast approaching black and blue, mouse shaped, fire balls before he brought up his arms to shield his face.

Motoi stood there, shock seen clearly on his face, and watched as B's entire body was pelted and engulfed by the black and blue flames of Yugito's jutsu before an explosion, powerful enough to cause Motoi to stumble and nearly fall face first into the ground, sent B's burning form deep into the jungle, casuing a number of animal cries and trees to shake as the man's burning body violently collided with the ground and whatever trees were in his way. He was about to follow after the man to make sure he wasn't dead when he heard a blood curdling scream that froze him mid-step.

Slowly, Motoi looked back at Yugito as the feeling of the Nibi's chakra surged all throughout the clearing and caused the ground to crack and the air to grow heavy and hot. The young Jinchūriki was on her hands and knees, her mouth open wide with a silent scream as the chakra cloak of the Nibi began to change from red and bubbly, to dark blue with wisps of black fire.

"Yugito-san!" Motoi shouted as he ran towards the girl, already reaching for a seal handed to him when she first arrived on the island to use should she ever lose control like now.

Just as he reached her, the girl threw her head back and let loose a long, rage filled scream as a powerful storm of blue and black fire erupted from her. Motoi flinched black from the intense heat radiating through the air, it was like he walked right into the heart of a wild fire. Quickly, he jumped back to place even more distance between himself and the raging inferno that was Yugito, his mind racing through different scenarios of what to do.

"Little girl's jutsu sure packs a punch, now I'm as cook as my morning brunch!" a voice spoke up from behind Motoi.

The Kumo nin tore his gaze away from Yugito to look behind himself and saw B, sporting a few burns on his arms and face, but otherwise unharmed, slowly emerge from the burning path he made moments ago. The man seemed unbothered by the second degree burns dotting his upper body, nor the sight of his student losing herself to the bijū within.

"B-sama! Are you okay?" Motoi said as he rushed towards the man as he stepped out of the jungle and brushed some burnt foliage off himself before reaching up to adjust his now cracked sunglasses.

"I'll be fine, Killa B will always shine!" B said as he glanced down at the burns on his arm.

It's been a while since he's been burnt that bad, and ironically, from another Jinchūriki, though he will say fire was preferable to molten lava.

"Motoi, it's best you start runnin', before the little girl starts gunnin'!" B sang as he glanced towards Motoi and gestured for him to leave "These woods are about to see some fire, and I'd like not to look for someone new to hire, ya fool!"

Motoi nodded and quickly leaped into the trees to head back to the house, it was the only structure on the island aside from the temples behind the Waterfall of Truth that would be able to withstand the devastation that was about to be unleashed by Yugito and B's fight. The various animals that inhabited the island will have undoubtedly already retreated to behind the waterfall by now once they sensed the Nibi's chakra.

B stared thoughtfully at Yugito as she was slowly enveloped in the Nibi's flames and began to take shape of the monstrous feline before he sighed and began to reach for Gyūki's.

'B, when we've subdued Yugito and Matatabi, I wish to speak with them. We've tried it your way, now it's time to try mine.' the sentient mass of chakra said as Killer B's body was slowly encased in a red, bubbly chakra that took on the vague shape of the Hachibi.

'Right-o, Eight-o, but right now we gotta stop them from dishing out our K-O!' B thought as he looked up into the fiery maw of the Nibi no Bakeneko as she began to charge up a Bijūdama, infused with fire charka, giving the destructive sphere the appearance of a miniaturized sun.

Something told B he was gonna be needing a lot of ice after this.

...

Ryuzo Uchiha is not what one would call a... conspiracist.

Oh sure he knew that not everything put out by those in power is always the truth, and he knows that those in power have and will do things to maintain they're power by any means necessary, but he didn't believe that every catastrophe was the result of someone or a group of someone's machinations. However, when he starts to notice things that are... off, and the 'official explanations' don't seem to quite make sense or were filled with too many discrepancies and holes, he'll be... suspicious.

And nothing was more suspicious then the details on the massacre of his clansmen, as he's quickly discovering.

"And why..." Ryuzo said, his voice calm and leveled despite the growing annoyance he was feeling "Can I not see the forensic files for my clan's massacre? The case is closed is it not? The evidence gathered and the perpetrator known? Thus, me looking at it should not be a problem, yes?"

"Y-Yes." the receptionist said with a wince "H-However Ryuzo-sama, because Uchiha Itachi has yet to be apprehended and-"

"There is no apprehending that one, and last I checked he has a kill on sight order, ergo he's been judged by both the Hokage and the Daimyō." Ryuzo interrupted the small woman with a slight narrowing of his eyes, casuing her to flinch.

For the past half hour now Ryuzo's been at the Konoha Military Police Station, once operated by the Uchiha, now by their distant relations, the Fūma clan along with a few other individuals from other clans or just from the village in general. Originally he was visiting the station to seek out a particular member of the Police force but upon discovering she was currently out and won't be back at the station until the end of shift, close to midnight he's told, Ryuzo decided to stop by the station's archives for the file on his clan's near demise. He had no real reason to go through it, the details of that night were largely known throughout the Continent and even a few others, but the elderly Uchiha was curious on how Itachi did it. Skilled as the boy was reported to be, even he couldn't have brought down such an old and powerful clan with just his sword, a homicidal attitude and a Sharingan, possibly a Mangekyō, in a single night.

No, he had to have some sort of ace in the whole and Ryuzo, curious bastard he was, wanted to know what it was. He was betting it was some sort of toxin, spread amongst the Clan to make going door to door, room to room, and killing them easier.

"I-I-I'm s-s-sorry Ryuzo-sama, b-b-but my hands are tied." the receptionist stuttered as she tried to match Ryuzo's piercing stare as best she could.

"So they are." Ryuzo huffed as he briefly contemplated activating his Sharingan and use a Genjutsu to get what he wanted before quickly discarding the idea.

He was once to be and now the actual Clan head of the Uchiha, he doesn't need to resort to such petty tactics to get what he needed, which shouldn't be an issue to begin with.

"Whose orders?" Ryuzo suddenly asked, casuing the woman to blink at him with confusion.

"W-What?" she asked.

"Who ordered that the forensic files of the Uchiha Massacre cannot be seen?" Ryuzo asked as he folded his arms across his chest "Despite the clan head of said clan demanding to see them!"

It had to be of someone of authority, that much was obvious.

If it was one of the members of Konoha's upper echelon of officials, Ryuzo wouldn't have to look too hard or too long, there was only really four people in the village at the time that could make such an order. The late Sandaime Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi and the Konoha Council, consisting of Mitokado Homura, Utatane Koharu, and-

"Welcome back to the village, Ryuzo-san."

'Speak of the Devil, and he shall appear.' Ryuzo thought darkly as he turned to see an elderly, bandaged man leaning on a simple wooden cane standing not six feet from the Uchiha.

Shimura Danzō... his former sensei.

"Danzō, hadn't heard you come in." Ryuzo stated with a frown, he really hadn't.

Either he was getting old, or Danzō was a lot sneakier then he ever suspected despite his old age and appearance.

Probably both.

"You were too busy bullying that poor women there to notice." Danzō said.

"I wasn't bullying her, simply giving her a hard time is all." Ryuzo said with a shrug as he turned away from Danzō and refocused his attention on the poor receptionist "She's saying she can't give me the file on my clan's massacre."

"And why would you want that?" Danzō asked as he began to slowly approach the Uchiha, his wooden cane's contact with the floor seemingly echoing around the room "If your hoping to solve the case, I'm afraid your a few years too late. It's been investigated, the suspect known and the order for their demise given. There's not much left to it and honestly, everyone knows of that tragic night."

"Then why can't I see the file then?" Ryuzo asked as he looked over his shoulder at Danzō, his Sharingan activated, the Tomoe spinning slowly as an added form of intimidation.

"Shut those eyes of yours off young man, it's unbecoming of a newly reinstated Clan Head to resort to such parlor tricks to get what he wants when he can simply ask, politely." Danzō huffed as he reached the receptionist's desk and nodded kindly towards her "Please retrieve the file this disgruntled man is asking for."

"Y-Yes Danzō-sama." the woman nodded fearfully as she leaped from her desk and made her way into the back of the archives to retrieve the file personally.

"I was asking politely." Ryuzo growled as he deactivated his Sharingan.

"Your Grandfather's way, no doubt." Danzō said as he stared emotionlessly at the door the receptionist fled through.

"Grandfather's way would've involved pain, I prefer verbal abuse and degradation." Ryuzo said as he leaned against the desk to wait before a slight scowl from Danzō stopped him "What?"

"Don't lean boy." Danzō said with a tap on the floor with his cane "Especially not on a desk that isn't yours."

"Don't call me boy, old man." Ryuzo growled with a dark look on his face "Your not my sensei anymore."

"Obviously, your lack of discipline and manners." Danzō countered coolly "Spent too much time out and about with criminals and other degenerates no doubt."

The two men glared at one another, or rather Ryuzo openly glared while Danzō simply opened his eye slightly to meet the Uchiha's stare with a blank one. After some time had passed, too long in Ryuzo's opinion, the receptionist returned with the file he'd been requesting for half an hour. Without even so much as a 'thank you', Ryuzo snatched the file out of the woman's hand and made his way for the door, eager to leave and return home.

"Thank you and I apologize for Ryuzo's rudeness, he's still getting used to be among civilized folk again." Danzō nodded at the woman before he followed after Ryuzo.

Ryuzo meanwhile was looking at the sealed envelope in his hand, it was thicker then he expected, it'll likely take him the rest of the day to go through it. With a sigh, he was about to use a Shunshin to leave when a loud throat clearing caused him to stop and glare back at Danzō.

"What?" he asked.

"Why?" Danzō asked.

"Why what?" Ryuzo asked with a frown.

"Why did you come back to the Village?" Danzō inquired as he leaned a bit on his cane.

"Can't a man that's been exiled for years return to his home to see how much it's changed?" Ryuzo asked with a scoff.

"He could..." Danzō nodded before his eye opened slightly to give Ryuzo a chilling glare "If he had a actual home to return to, and not some vacant compound."

"I still have the Fūma." Ryuzo shrugged "Even if some aren't big fans of me."

Danzō hummed at this before adding "And your daughter... assuming of course, she wants anything to do with the man that left her and her mother."

"Is there a reason why your here? Because if it's just to twist the knife a little deeper, I'm afraid your a few years too late. Knife's been twisted, my insides gutted and spilled on to the ground for good measure." Ryuzo asked, already tired of Danzō's presence.

Well, he was tired of it the moment he heard the man's voice, but now he was very tired of it.

"I'm here to inform you that your request for Tsunade to label Uchiha Satsuki as an official missing nin has been approved." Danzō said with a blank expression "She'll be labeled A-ranked with a kill on sight order."

"Oh good, glad that's been taken care of." Ryuzo said as he turned to leave.

"I'm still surprised that you'd do such a thing. She's the last female Uchiha in the world." Danzō remarked.

"Correction, she's the last last full blooded female Uchiha in the world. My daughter is the last." Ryuzo said with a scowl.

True she's shown no signs of a Sharingan and it's unlikely whatever children she does have will inherit it either, but that didn't diminish her status as an Uchiha in his eyes. And it's not like he has a bunch of stingy elders around anymore that can stop him from formally bestowing the name Uchiha to her and ensuring she'll be his heir now that his line's position as head of the Uchiha has been restored.

The trick now, would be getting her to agree to be formally accepted into the Clan.

And wanting to speak with him in the first place to do that first thing.

Baby steps.

"Now, if there's nothing else to discuss, I have some reading to get to." Ryuzo said as he waved the case file at his former sensei as he turned to leave before stopping as something occurred to him "Oh, and Danzō?"

"Hmm?" Danzō sounded.

"If by some chance and reason you were involved with my clan's near eradication... I highly encourage you to send what skilled assassins you have currently to my home. Tonight will be your best chance to get me before I dig too far and start to find some of the ugly truths that this village seems keen on burying." Ryuzo said as he brandished the folder in his hand "Because come tomorrow, and all the days afterwards in my search for what really happened and uncover those involved outside what's known... well, it won't be pretty for whoever is still left alive."

"Is that a threat, Ryuzo-san?" Danzō asked, his voice devoid of any and all warmth and a sense of tension filled the air between the two.

"Hmm... more of a suggestion really." Ryuzo said with a shrug as he turned to leave "Of course, if you aren't involved, then my veiled threat should mean nothing to you and you can go about your day with a smile knowing that I'll be wasting my time looking for a connection that was never there to begin with."

And with that, Ruyzo was gone with a Konoha-Shunshin, leaving Danzō to stare blankly at the spot he was just at.

"Such impudence." Danzō shook his head before he turned to leave as well.

It seems the years away had done little to improve his former student's disposition.

...

And done.

gontheone: Won't be the last time Pītā will have to use his scientific mind to beat someone. I have something in mind for Pītā but it won't be some sword or staff and it'll match with his later developed fighting style. Pītā will expand on his Earth style jutsu, more offense based techniques and maybe add a few Lightning style and some water of the same nature.

CRUDEN: He'll get back soon.
