"So Skirt said we'd be meeting someone here to help us get through this mountain, right?" Pokemon Master Ash said.
"Yeah, but I'm not really sure who." Seer Ash added. "He just said that Iridia's friend would be leading us up there."
"All aboard." A man said, walking up to them.
"Wait what, aboard what?" Pokemon Master Ash said.
"Sorry, just something from my memories, are you two the ones from the Galaxy Team I'm supposed to be meeting?" The man asked.
"Yeah, I'm Cassidy and this is Rich." Seer Ash said.
"My name is Ingo, and no one knows the way through these mountains better than I do." Ingo said, grabbing a torch. "Keep up, I won't be dilly dallying all day."
"Mr. Ingo was it, what exactly are you bringing us to?" Pokemon Master Ash asked.
"The exit of course, I'm showing you how to make it through the caves so that you and your friends know for future instances." Ingo said, walking into the cave. "So where are you two from?"
"Kanto." Both Ash said at once.
"What about you Mr Ingo, where are you from?" Seer Ash asked.
"I wish I knew, one day I woke up here in Hisui and all I could remember was my name. A few things have come back to me since then, but not enough to piece together my old life." Ingo said calmly.
"Anything of your old life that you've remembered?" Seer Ash said.
"Really, why are you asking these things?" Pokemon Master Ash whispered.
"Better than walking in silence." Seer Ash whispered back.
"I remember a few things. I remember having a partner Pokemon that was like a lantern, I would have liked to have it for this walk, they would have really illuminated the way." Ingo said.
"I'm sorry to hear that it must be terrible to not remember them." Seer Ash said.
"I also remember I had a partner, he was similar to me, I feel like we were very close, but I just can't remember his name. Maybe if I did, I could find him, and where I came from." Ingo said, leading the two around another turn. "So what are you kids looking for out here?"
"It's a bit complicated." Pokemon Master Ash said.
"I'm not looking to steal or take the prize from you, just trying to make some decent conversation as we walk." Ingo said. "Not a lot of people want to come all the way to the top of this mountain, so I'm just curious what you're looking to find out here."
"We're looking for a set of treasured objects to a mystery we're trying to solve." Seer Ash said.
"Seriously, you can't tell him those things." Pokemon Master Ash whispered angrily.
"I didn't tell him what we were looking for or what they looked like, what's the big deal?" Seer Ash said.
"And what if he finds one, then what?" Pokemon Master Ash argued.
"I guess if I find the things that you're looking for but you refuse to clue me in on, I'll let you know, or bring them back to Jubilife Village for you." Ingo said.
"Wait, really?" Pokemon Master Ash said in surprise. "But you don't even know what they could do."
"Do you?" Ingo asked.
"Well no, but." Pokemon Master Ash sighed.
"Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated Mr Ingo." Seer Ash said. "And I'm sure that if I find anything related to your missing memories I'll bring them to you."
"Much obliged." Ingo said. "Alright we're almost there, the opening is just up ahead."
"I can see it!" Seer Ash cheered, running forward.
"Pinky wait!" Pokemon Master Ash exclaimed.
"Snea!" A tall Pokemon exclaimed, leaping onto the ground, wrapping it's claws around Seer Ash before rushing off.
"What was that thing?!" Pokemon Master Ash exclaimed.
"Sneasler, guardian of the mountain." Ingo said calmly. "Though he normally doesn't act like this."
"Well where did he take him?!" Pokemon Master Ash said. "We have to go after him!"
"He is likely in the canyons higher in the mountains. Sneasler has a cavern that he stays in whenever I'm not in the mountains. But how will you manage to rescue him? You are alone and it looks like all you have is that Pikachu, if you want to get him back, you'll need your friends." Ingo said.
"Then take me back to Jubilife, I'm not losing him out there!" Pokemon Master Ash argued.
"Alright, alright, come on, let's go back and get them." Ingo said, walking back the way they came. "I don't want him to get hurt any more than you do, you don't need to rush me for that."
"How long will he be safe up here?" Pokemon Master Ash said.
"Sneasler won't let him get hurt, but he also won't let him go without a fight, we'll need to focus on getting him quickly and safely." Ingo said.
