"Trying to catch up on the latest gossip, are we?" Kira asked.

Odo's stony expression didn't waver. "Major, I'm not eavesdropping. I'm simply keeping an eye on things, as always."

"Sure, and I suppose it's a sheer coincidence you've planted yourself within earshot of their conversation."

"There's something off about our Andorian visitor. She doesn't quite fit the mold."

"You sound like O'Brien. He's been muttering about her ship all morning. Find anything?"

Odo unclasped his arms, a hint of surprise crossing his features. "Her ship? No, I haven't come across anything unusual yet. What did O'Brien find?"

"Just some anomalies. Her vessel is old and seems to rely on some rather archaic engineering practices. Nothing outlandish, but it's unusual for an Andorian vessel."

Odo frowned as he processed the information. "That's certainly peculiar for a Federation race."

"You think it might have some connection to why she's talking to Garak?"

"When Garak is involved, anything is possible. Given her reticence to divulge her mission, it's all the more suspicious."

"Well, keep an eye on them, but try not to be too obvious about it. Sisko doesn't want to spook her before we know what's really going on."

Odo nodded, his gaze steady. "Subtlety is my forte, Major."
