"H̵̙̟̐̏͛́͛̅̒͆͂̄͝͝e̴̩̲̣̤̮͍͋̂̇͠y̵̢̭̮̳̖͆͊̾̃͜."

My eyes slowly open upon hearing the noise above me. Not understanding what it is or what it could mean.

"C̶̨̡̢͉̣̥̥̤͋̎̌̿͆͑͝a̷̳͍̓n̷̳͕̞̠̈́ ̶͎̙͇͕̑͗̕y̸̥̽̓͆͌̕ǫ̴̛͙̀̅̊̄́͘͝u̴̟̮͌̈̈́̅ ̶̘̪͉̯̯̉͋̊̽͑h̶̦͖͎͌̎̓̓̏͗̎e̷͇͌̒̂͊̈̌͜ã̴̧̨͚̳̯͕͜r̵͎̦̜̰͓̙͍̳͗͗̿͘ ̵̗͙̺͓̬͙̎̈́͊͜m̴͈͆͗͒e̶̛̹̣̯̘̐͋̽͠?̷̣̳̭̰̪͔̞̠͗̎̊"

With the sound continuing, I open my eyes fully, seeing a long stretch of blue and black void all around me. Myself just floating amidst the endless sea of blue and black void.

"L̶̞͚̰͠ë̷̼͖̰́̾t̴͉̰̅̍̈́͜ş̸́͜ ̵̧̣́̊͜s̸̱̏͠e̵̩̻̬͛́́e̷̪͓̔͠…̷͎̤͚̍̌͂ ̵̖̘͛́͊j̸̱͑u̸̝̙̒̄̈́ś̴̰͇̞t̶̞̓̍ ̵̭͈͙́̕͝ȁ̴̜̝̩ ̴̳̄̓̓b̴̢̳͠ĭ̴͚͙̞͊́t̶͙́̾ ̸͈͍̯̌o̵̯̠̔͒f̴̠͗ ̶̲͑͂̃ț̸̀͂͗h̷̯̘̬̚i̵̜̣̩͋́̅s̵̨̯̳̍͊̋ ̷̺̀̓͘à̴̛̪͇͕̏ṇ̴̽́̕d̵̲͙͑͠ ̸̳̭̤͑ǎ̸̧̱́ ̷͈̈́t̴̜̚ā̷̻͐d̷̛̪̒ͅ ̸͉͆͊ö̴̝̳̠́͊̋f̷͇͈̿̀ ̴̨́ț̴̠̲̀̉h̸͓͓̤̀ī̴̝̬̈͘s̴̳̙͆͠͝ͅ…̵̜̃̽͘ ̶̙̓̿̎ã̸̦͓̈a̵͓̲͍̚a̴̢̹̹͘ǎ̷̤̼͉͝n̴̹͑̕͜͝d̵͍̹̰̉͠…̴̯͍̯̇͐ ̵̦̩͐̌d̷̮͉͕̍͐̐ǒ̵̯́̊n̷̰̬͝ĕ̷̡̗̖́~̶̡̛̭͠!̵̥̓̂""

Before I have a moment to react, a glowing purple circle appears around me. The circle slowly moves in closer before ultimately wrapping around me.

Nothing seems to happen, yet the circle dissipates right afterwards leaving me confused. Its light fading away into the rest of the void and leaving me slightly confused.

"Heeey! Can you understand me now?"

Startled by the voice calling out to me, I quickly raise my head, looking all around in haste to find its source, eyes darting from side to side in an attempt to figure out its location.

"Heh. Don't bother. I'm nowhere near you right now, merely watching you with my third eye." The voice continues. "Buuuut, I suppose I can give you some directions."

With those words, the blue and black void seems to solidify somewhat in front of me, forming a path ahead. What looks to be small thorns forming the edges of it keeping the whole thing together.

"Follow that path for now and we'll see what we can do."

I go ahead and obey, not knowing what else to do. My footsteps echoing out into the nothingness around me as I walk forward for what seems like hours.

"Hey. So whats your name?" The voice asks.

Hearing the question, I quirk my head to the side, not understanding what they're asking.

"So you don't have a name." The voice says, an odd tone to it.

A brief silence permeates between us as I continue the journey.

"Well, since you don't have a name, I'll just name you myself." The voice seems to hum for a moment, an oddly pleasant tune coming from it.

"Hundred Knight. Your name is Hundred Knight from now on. For you'll have the power of a hundred knights." A smug tone filling the voice as it proclaims this.

The voice then begins to utter a chant of some kind using words and sounds that are alien to me. A melodic ringing sounding from everywhere, yet nowhere all at once.

"O̶͘ͅh̵̓ͅ ̷̙̍g̶͙̈́r̴̠͐e̶̦̎ȁ̸̺ṱ̵̀ ̷̤̂s̸͈̎p̷͉͌i̸̛͉r̸̭͆ì̸͕t̵͇̕ş̴̇,̶̯̓ ̸͖̚b̶̮̒ỉ̴̫n̴̰̊d̸̖͝ ̸̞̀t̴̢͊h̴̗̓i̵̙͆š̸̘ ̴̧̅w̸̟̆i̶͎͆c̸͔̎k̴̝̿e̴̥͑d̸̔ͅ ̶̃ͅf̷̯͘i̶̭͋ȇ̴̫n̴̩̅ḏ̸͆ ̶͓̅t̵͎̂ó̶̪ ̷̛̜t̸̙͝h̵̰́i̷̛͍s̴̹̕ ̵̖̋h̶̬̐ò̵͔l̷͉̉y̵͔͘ ̵͈͊w̸̹̓ì̶̩t̷̹̚c̶̜̐h̴͓͘.̴̝̄ ̷͕̈́L̴̩̈e̵̖͗t̴͙͝ ̶̛̬ț̵́h̷͍̊i̷͎̓s̸̗̃ ̷̹̽n̴̖̿ā̴̡m̷̞̉ẻ̵̞ ̵͔̌r̶̛͈ę̶͝p̴̪̀r̸̼̆ḛ̷̈s̶̗̾e̸͍͠n̸̰͑t̸̞́ ̴͉̈́t̸̩̏h̷̬͋ȅ̶̥ ̴͖́b̶̺̅i̴̗͊n̶̪͗d̴͇͆ī̶͉n̸̺̓g̷͉̋ ̶̖̈́p̸͙̓ă̶͕ċ̴͕ţ̸̅ ̵̮̓b̴̫̀ȳ̷̨ ̴̘̿w̶̞̋h̸̥͠i̸͍͛ċ̶̹h̸̝͠ ̵̮̀w̴̕͜e̴͎͂ ̶̝̿s̸̩͒e̶̊ͅr̸̳̄v̷̗̕ĕ̸̯.̷̡̚ ̷̡͊H̷̟̋u̷̡̕n̵̲̄d̸̘͂r̵͉̎e̵̗͌d̷̥̒ ̴̙͛K̷͍̄n̵̲̈́i̸̱͠g̷̢̃h̸̩͝t̶̪͊,̷͚̂ ̴͚͌h̵͇͋e̸͈̋é̵̱d̴̥̾ ̵͔̚ṁ̶͔y̴̟͆ ̴͕̕c̶̹̅a̵̹͠l̴̹͝l̷̛̯!̴̮͋"

And with that, I feel my new name etching itself into me, creating an itching sensation to fill my head.

Hundred Knight. That which is as strong as a hundred knights.

"Oh, and to commemorate you getting a name, take this. Can't be a knight without a helmet to show for it now can ya?"

A helmet suddenly appears, dropping in front of me, making a soft pinging noise once it hits the solid void.

"Put it on and that'll seal the deal."

Obeying this strange voice at once, I put on the helmet, the itching sensation within my head getting stronger and stronger.

Once the helmet encompasses my head, a large plume of blue flames erupts from the top of it. As this happens, I can feel my body changing shape, but am unable to tell in what way.

With the moment then being interrupted by a monstrous bellow.

"GRAAAAGH!"

A bellowing roar fills the space from up ahead, knocking me back a couple of steps.

"Tch! Not good. Seems like something in here doesn't like you." The voice mutters a couple words before addressing me again. "Start running! I'll handle keeping the path formed!"

Taking the voice's words to heart, I begin running quickly, with my mind and body still changing in different ways all the while. Making me taller, more muscular, and a myriad of different forms of knowledge filling my head.

[Gamer Interface Download: 8%]

"Take a left quickly!"

Turning left, I come upon two small black creatures in witch hats.

"Shit. Witch soldiers." The voice clarifies. "You won't be getting past them without a weapon. Soooo I'll give ya a little gift."

A small wooshing sound happens and theres suddenly a sword on the ground in front of me. Standing easily as tall as me and nearly as broad, its much more of a broadsword or claymore than a simple sword of any other form.

"Take that and strike down those witch soldiers Hundred Knight! Show them your strength!"

Following through on the voice's command, I hurriedly grab ahold of the sword, lifting it with surprising ease despite its considerable apparent weight.

With no hesitation, I rush towards the witch soldiers, raising the sword with both hands and taking a swing at the nearest one.

The greatsword easily cleaves through the body of one of the witch soldiers with ease before either of them has a chance to notice. Its body dissipating into black smoke as the second one takes notice of me, charging towards me instantly and making a lunge closer. Its claws extended with the goal of skewering me.

Quickly raising the sword, I manage to get it pointed towards the witch soldiers chest, letting it skewer itself upon the blade, leaving the same black smoke as the only evidence of its existence.

"Kehehe~! Good job Hundred Knight. Those witch soldiers were no match for you. Now keep moving. Whatever it was that made that noise earlier seems to be getting closer." The voice above urges me.

Wordlessly obeying with just a nod of acknowledgment, I heft the sword onto my shoulder and continue making my way along the path. Speeding up more than I was before into a run.

"GRAAAAAAGH!"

The roar from earlier happens again. Only much closer. Whatever beast this is is making it closer much faster then I can escape.

"Urgh! This little pest! Hundred Knight! Keep moving quickly, while I see what I can do to slow this thing down." The voice reassures me, the sight of various lights going off behind me signaling her help.

[Gamer Interface Download: 22%]

My body blurring as my stride and pace quicken, eagerly obeying the voices command to get away.

Making another sharp turn, I come upon a small grouping of witch soldiers alongside a larger creature.

Seemingly a worm-like tower, it has the same face and colors as the witch soldiers around it. So it must be a stronger witch soldier.

Hefting the greatsword in both hands, I charge in. Spinning around, I quickly generate force as I swing the sword right into the midst of the witch soldiers. Easily cleaving my way through two of them, leaving small plumes of black smoke behind as the others take notice of me.

Three of the small witch soldiers lunge towards me, forcing me to roll forwards, leaving the sword behind. The witch soldiers jittering back and forth around the blade.

Rolling back up onto my feet, I take stock of the situation. Weaponless, surrounded by small witch soldiers, and facing ahead is the larger witch soldier.

Eyeing my blade laying on the ground, I formulate my next plan of action. Barrel through the witch soldiers, grab the sword, and defeat them. Simple.

Tensing all the various muscles in my legs, I push off the ground in an instant. Jumping forwards off of the ground slamming my way into the witch soldiers, knocking the one near my sword back and away, leaving two others to make their way in towards me.

Grabbing ahold of the greatsword once more, I jump up and off the ground once again. Stabbing the sword down into the ground, I use it as leverage to spin myself around it in a circle motion, kicking the two witch soldiers away.

Landing back on the ground I heft the blade up onto my shoulder and begin my assault on the larger witch soldier. Dashing in close, I swing the blade in from above, intent on splitting it in half right from the get-go.

Unfortunately, its head seems to be much sturdier then the others are, as my blade bounces off, knocking me back a half-step. Forcing me to redirect my strike, I spin around once again, slicing two of the smaller witch soldiers apart as they attempted to attack me from behind.

The large witch soldier and three smaller ones all thats left facing me. Each of the smaller ones wiggling their fingers at me.

Prepping myself, I brace for their next attack. Which comes in with each small witch soldier shambling their way towards me quickly.

Taking a silent breath, I step in to meet them. Bringing the sword down and smashing the first immediately, using the force of the strike to kick out and push another one away, freeing me up to swing the sword back around and bisect a second witch soldier.

Bracing myself, I slam my shoulder into the witch soldier I had kicked away, and use the greatsword to smash it immediately afterwards. Leaving me surrounded by various amounts of dissipating black smoke.

Looking around, I try to see the larger witch soldier from before, but its nowhere to be seen.

How could it have vanished like that with its size and lack of limbs?

"Hundred Knight! Above!"

Startled by the voice speaking up again, I'm to slow to properly heed its warning. A large weight slamming into me from above, crushing me beneath it for a moment before receding.

Blinking away the pain, I desperately look around for what hit me. Spying the large witch soldier from before a short distance away, its body seeming to softly move up and down.

Standing up, I steadily keep my eye on it, ready for whatever it was that allowed it to hit me.

"Hundred Knight. Be. Careful. That witch soldier attacks by jumping high in the air and falling atop you. That hit from before dealt a good amount of damage from what I can tell, so be sure to not take any more."

Nodding my head at the voices words, I prep my greatsword once more. Holding it with both hands and intently eyeing this enemy before me.

With a sudden tensing of its entire body, it leaps up into the air above. Its shadow thinning out briefly, before then beginning to grow beneath me, showing exactly where its going to land.

Jumping backwards, I watch for a half-second as it lands, dust erupting out around it for a moment. Only to then rush in close, swinging the greatsword in from the side this time, embedding its edge into the side of the large witch soldier.

To my dismay, the blade gets stuck inside of its body, as if its clamping its muscles tight around it. Letting go of the handle, I duck down, evading its head as it attempts to headbutt me.

Taking a step back, I kick my leg out, slamming it into the sword embedded in the witch soldier. My kick forcing the blade to dig further into its body, after which I step closer in and grab ahold of its grip once more. Using the position of the blade within its body to force it to fall over onto its other side.

Gripping the blade's handle tightly, I rip it back out with my foot atop its head to give me the added force. Once I've done so, I point the blade down into the open gash and slam it back down with a stab, finishing it off and letting it dissipate into black smoke like its brethren.

[Gamer Interface Download: 49%]

"Heh, good job Hundred Knight. Outside of that one hit you handled them pretty easily." The voice compliments me.

"Now get moving. That beast is still chasing after you and I can't hold it off while still speaking and keeping an eye on whats happening with you."

Agreeing with the voice, I get back to following the path ahead, speeding my way through with a quick run.

The path through the void continues to form ahead of me, making little twists and turns to lead me to a hopeful exit. And before I know it, I'm trotting over a grassy plain, with the void filling the sky above.

Looking around in confusion. I can see where the void path clearly switches to dirt and grass. Forming an odd dichotomy in their composition.

Moving around with caution, I keep my eyes on the lookout for anything of note. Grass, dirt patches, and a few smaller stone pillars dotting the landscape around me. Two particularly larger ones making up the largest part of the area forming into what appears to be a large gate-like structure.

I continue exploring the area, taking small moments to try and soothe the constant itching sensation still infecting my head but ultimately failing to do so.

[Gamer Interface Download: 66%]

As I'm inspecting the gate-like structure, an ominous sensation begins to build behind me. Culminating in the same sounding roar from before.

"GRAAAAGH!"

This time though, the roar seems to come from right beside me.

"HUNDRED KNIGHT! Move!"

Scrambling quickly out of the way to just narrowly avoid the swipe of a large scaly tail. Its colossal size and weight making the ground shake beneath me as I take a look at the creature that was chasing after me.

Dark scales in an almost black color. Massive in size and weight, easily dwarfing me with its head standing my entire body's height off the ground. Its an incredibly large lizard with what appears to be a mask over the top of its head.

"Get ready Hundred Knight! Looks like we won't be able to run from here on out! So pound this shitty lizard into the dirt!" The command coming from the voice filling me with strength and power.

Wielding the sword with both hands, I prepare myself for this much more difficult battle.

[Gamer Interface Download: 75%]

With a roar, the lizard creature charges towards me, intent on crushing me within its jaws. Each of its large legs slams the ground to propel itself closer to me.

Stepping off to the side, I manage to narrowly evade its charge. Holding the sword behind me, I swing it forward in a side slash, slamming it directly into the creature's side. My blade unfortunately does the same thing as the larger witch soldier, merely bouncing off its more armored skin.

Quickly backpedaling, I make some space between us. Not sure what to do if my greatsword isn't able to break through its hide.

"Tch. That armors certainly an annoyance." The voice seemingly agrees with me. "Hundred Knight. Since the sword isn't able to get through that things hard shell, I'm gonna toss you another weapon. Use this and you should be able to break through."

With those words uttered, a flash of light happens in front of me, revealing a large hammer. Outclassing me in sheer size, to the point of it being seemingly unwieldily. I grasp ahold of its handle and lift it, having to put quite a bit more effort into doing so.

Standing in place with the greatsword in one hand, and the hammer in the other. Unable to fully wield both at the same time, I stab the sword into the ground, fully prepared to go in with just the hammer.

"Oi, Hundred Knight. Don't just leave the sword around like that. Try willing it away into your personal 'storage' space. And when you need to take it out, just imagine pulling it back out." The voice advises, a sudden light-show appearing over the lizard creature, forcing it to stop and endure the barrage of attacks from the voice.

Taking the voice's advice, I begin willing the sword away. Imagining a separate space away from here for it to sit inside of.

Suddenly the sword disappears from next to me, leaving me with just the hammer and finally able to focus on using just it with ease.

[Gamer Interface Download: 88%]

The lizard creature finally manages to shake off the attacks the voice is using on it, its eyes locking onto me with what appears like an intense hatred in them.

It begins charging towards me, easily closing the distance between us with its jaws wide open, intent on consuming me.

Stepping to the side, I raise the hammer and swing it in close, bashing it right into the side of the lizards head, knocking it off to the side with an audible crack. Quickly following through so as not to give it a chance to recover, I jump through the air in a lunge, slamming the hammer down onto its body. Breaking apart some of the hardened hide it has over its body with much more ease.

"Alright! Keep it up Hundred Knight! Break that fucking lizard and rip out its guts!"

I continue my assault of hammer blows. Filling the void around us with the sound of breaking hide and the roars of pain coming from the lizard.

As I go for another though, the lizard manages to shake me off. Batting me away with its tail, with me barely managing to guard against it with my arm taking the hit head on.

Tumbling over the ground from the force of its blows, I wearily make my way back to my feet. An unexpected pain throbbing through me as I wobble onto my feet.

Holding the hammer tight with my fingers, I make to continue the fight. Both myself and the lizard having taken large amounts of damage throughout this exchange.

Surprisingly though, before we can continue, a swirling portal forms off to the side of us in the space between the gate-like pillars. The voice speaking up again once it widens enough for me to fit through.

"Alright Hundred Knight! Come on through the portal quickly! This thing won't stay open for long and you're not quite ready to face this thing."

Obediently obeying the voice's command, I will away the hammer into the same storage as the sword, racing towards the portal as quickly as I can.

The lizard isn't one to be deterred though, as it stampedes towards me and the portal, its purpose to stop me from getting through it and escaping.

Pushing myself faster, I feel my body growing in strength even more. Muscles forming all throughout me to force itself to work harder, faster, and overall more durable and efficient with its movements.

[Gamer Interface Download: 99%]

With a force of strength I wasn't aware I had in me, I take one final step forwards, still a reasonable distance from the portal, but only a couple of feet away from the lizard creature.

So I jump.

Catching the lizards face with my hand, I use the momentum of it coming in from the side, and spin myself over its head. Pushing it downward into the ground and flying up and over with a flourish of movement unknown to me. Now much closer to the portal, enough that I can see the wisps of energy coming from it.

"Kehehehe~! Good job Hundred Knight! Now jump on through and say hello to your master~!"

With the voices last command, I reach the portal and jump through. Coming out the other end of the portal head over heels.

Tumbling over myself, I eventually stop the movement, sitting on the ground and looking around the room I've found myself in. Dark, damp, and cluttered with miscellaneous items all around the place. Even some kind of circle etched into the ground around it.

"Welcome Hundred Knight." A voice from the side of me says.

Turning slightly, I come face to face with a young blonde-haired woman dressed in revealing clothing and a giant witch's hat atop her head. This woman stepping closer and closer until she stops right in front of me and holds her hand out down towards me.

"I am your master. The Great Swamp Witch Metallia. Serve me well, and let us take over the world."

Her declaration starting the journey... of the Witch, and the Hundred Knight.
