Genre: Adventure/Romance
Pairings: Tommy/Kim, Jason/Trini, and Alan/Ellie
Author's Notes: Hi, readers. I would like to present what is probably the first Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Jurassic Park crossover. It is AU set a year after Jurassic Park and one month after White Light and shows Alan, Ellie, Ian, John, Lex, and Tim vacationing in Angel Grove and running into Tommy, Kim, Jason, Trini, Billy, and Zack at the local zoo, but things turn south when Lord Zedd decides to kidnap them and use them as bait to trap the Power Rangers on Isla Nublar. I got this idea when I started thinking about these incredibly popular franchises celebrating their thirtieth anniversaries this year. I will have it where there were more than each of the species that appeared as just one or two individuals in Jurassic Park. I added a few species as well. This was to make the ecosystem established by the dinosaurs more realistic. Rexy has been confirmed as the nickname of the Tyrannosaurus that broke out of her paddock and tried to go after the visitors, but she saved them in a twist of irony in the end. I hope you enjoy this crossover. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Chapter 1: Living Free
The midmorning sun beamed its rays on Isla Nublar in early July. The ocean looked like it was sparkling. Three brown pelicans flew through the sky. The first pelican squawked, followed by the second and third ones. They flapped their wings in almost perfect unison. They headed higher, more squawks leaving their beaks.
A year had passed since Alan, Ellie, Ian, John, Lex, and Tim escaped Jurassic Park after Dennis sabotaged it in an attempt to steal dinosaur embryos for Biosyn. They swore to each other to never speak of the incident, though it left them somewhat traumatized. InGen suffered financial loss due to lawsuits brought against it by the families of the deceased. However, John remained on as CEO. He was determined to remain as such.
After the failure of the park, dinosaurs took over the island and established a very stable ecosystem. Due to the frog DNA in their blood, they were able to change sex in order to breed and produce offspring. The led to an increase in the populations of several species, including Stegosaurus and Utahraptor. The Visitor's Center remained intact, as did the abandoned vehicles. It was not known if the power still worked in the former.
The pelicans went past the waterhole. A Parasaurolophus stood up on its hindquarters as it observed them vanishing beyond the horizon. It listened to their caws until they turned to nothing. It looked toward a tree and grabbed a small leaf-filled branch from just above the middle. It snorted while pulling its meal free. It gobbled the plant down quickly before shaking its head.
A mother Parasaurolophus and her two offspring walked past their companion as it grabbed another similar-sized branch. They were on all fours. They came to the water hole and proceeded to drink. The mother looked up to see three Pteranodons flying overhead. The first Pteranodon let out a loud caw. The second one imitated it, as did the third. They went out of sight. She went back to drinking.
The first baby finished drinking and shook its head. It looked toward the second one as it lifted its head with a soft snort. It emitted a quiet yet mischievous bellow. It rammed itself into its sibling, knocking it down. It jumped back as its sibling snapped its jaws at it playfully. It took off running with the second baby close behind. Their playful yips filled the air. They sounded almost as if they were puppies.
The babies ran past a Brachiosaurus as it opened its mouth and emitted a loud bellow. It tore a large leaf-filled branch off the top of a tree after closing its mouth. It pulled its meal into its mouth slowly. It swallowed before licking its lips. It grabbed a smaller branch with just as many leaves. It proceeded to gobble the whole thing down. The babies came from the other direction. The first one stopped and turned toward its sibling as it skidded to a halt. They opened their mouths and yipped at each other.
The little ones took off running once more. They passed an adult Saurolophus munching on tree leaves. It swallowed them with a quiet gulp. It grabbed a mouthful of more and started to chew. A subadult Saurolophus made its way toward the tree. The other one swallowed and snorted warningly at it. The subadult paid it no mind. It came closer to the tree. Eagerness crossed its face, and it emitted an excited snort.
The adult emitted an angry snort and narrowed its eyes at the subadult. It lowered its head while digging through the soil with its foot. It bellowed aggressively and broke into a charge. The subadult squeaked in fright. It turned around in which it ran for its life. It increased its stride, enabling it to get further away from the adult. The adult came to a halt and snorted in satisfaction. It returned to the tree.
The subadult came to the forest edge. It skidded to a halt and panted heavily. It managed to catch its breath. It tilted its head while narrowing its eyes at the trees. A very faint growl could be heard. It let out a quiet yet frightful squeak. It turned around and charged toward the other herbivores. It raised its head high while bellowing in great alarm.
All of a sudden, Rexy crashed through the trees in which she knocked them down. She headed for the other herbivores. The babies spotted her and cried out in fear. They raced toward their mother, who looked up. The trio headed for the forest near the waterhole. The other Parasaurolophus and adult Saurolophus raced after them. They passed the Brachiosaurus as it headed for the water slowly.
Rexy narrowed her eyes at the subadult Saurolophus. She snorted in great determination. She picked up her pace, a hungry growl leaving her mouth. She opened her jaws widely. She rushed them downward, grabbing its back and biting down very hard. The Saurolophus fell down after she let go of it. It moaned in great pain, blood pouring from its bite wounds. It tried to get up, only to fail miserably.
Rexy bit down on her prey once more and shook it violently from side to side. The Saurolophus became limp. Its breathing ceased completely. She released her hold on it, causing it to drop to the ground. A large piece of flesh hung from her jaws. Her entire snout was covered in blood. She pulled the meat into mouth and swallowed it. She roared in great triumph as the Parasaurolophus and adult Saurolophus escaped into the forest. The Brachiosaurus managed to make it into the water.
Rexy looked down at her meal and clamped her jaws on its back. She moved her head from side to side in which she tore a large chunk off. She managed to get it into her mouth. She swallowed it quickly. She looked both ways three times before turning back to her kill. She took hold of another part of it and tore off another large chunk of meat. She gobbled it down fast.
Rexy heard soft growling and spotted a subadult Tyrannosaurus making its way toward her. She narrowed her eyes at it. She let out a warning snarl. It stopped for a minute, but it resumed walking toward the kill. It picked up its pace a tiny bit. It snorted eagerly while getting closer to a potential meal. It opened its jaws, a hungry growl coming from it.
Rexy emitted a soft snarl before moving her foot back. She flared her nostrils and broke into a charge. She roared aggressively at the subadult. It squeaked fearfully as it came to a halt. It turned around and ran away. It increased its stride as she snapped her jaws at it. It barely avoided her. She halted herself, a satisfied snort coming from her. She headed back to the Saurolophus. She ate a little more of it.
A mother Utahraptor and her three offspring headed toward the waterhole. The family stopped before it and bent down. They started to drink water. The babies moved their tails from side to side twice. Their mother turned her head upward as the Brachiosaurus waded into deeper water. She watched it stop and duck its head below the surface. It came back up with a mouthful of plants. It gobbled them down.
The Utahraptor blinked twice. She shifted her attention back to the water and bent down to resume drinking. She tapped her sickle claws against the ground three times. The babies squeaked in a childish way. The Brachiosaurus proceeded to drink water as well. It moaned in a low yet firm manner. It moved its tail from side to side twice.
