"I'm fine, really, Desiree," Midoriya tried to placate his sex genie while he was alone from the paramedics that came swiftly after the USJ incident.

"Please somehow wish to have yourself fixed up, please, master?" Desiree requested, using puppy dog eyes on her sugar.

"Desiree, we just got my soul fixed. I can fix myself up with my medical spray and with Recovery Girl's help. Besides, I barely took any damage," he mentally told her, looking back and forth to make sure the coast was clear before giving a warm hug to her, the two being polar opposites in terms of heat, as Desiree was as cold as well-refrigerated ice cream and Midoriya was the average temperature of a human being.

The sex genie sighed contently, relishing being in her master's embrace. "Don't you ever do something this stupid again. I don't want to lose you, master," she cried, tears going down her ghostly face. "If you need to get out of there, wish for it! We can always fix your soul later."

"Desiree—"

"Promise me!" she demanded, daring him to argue.

He sighed as he gave in, "I will, I promise."

"Good boy!" she praised as she gave him headpats as a reward. "I'll stay in the background for now, but just know that if you call for me I'll be there," she reminded.

"I'll remember that," he thought as he watched her go over to his classmates and appraise them invisibly.

"Midori-bro!" Kirishima called out, walking on over to him. "I saw you being manly out there, good going!" she said, flashing him a toothy smile of approval. "But I didn't see you bring your suit of armor, where was it?"

"Ah, I forgot you weren't there to see it. Watch," he said as he double-tapped his nanotech container, causing the little machines to cover him completely in his red and gold Iron Man armor in seconds.

"Woah! That's sick!" she enthused, "Can I touch it?"

"Knock yourself out," he allowed, watching as she felt up his suit of armor. She first poked it near the arc reactor, feeling the hard metal not give in. She then felt up his upper arms muscle area, before she realized what she was doing and stopped immediately. "I-uh, sorry, Midoriya."

He giggled a little as he said, "It's okay," he said as he mentally commanded the nanotech to go back into its container, it going off of him as fast as it shielded him.

"Dude, with tech like that it's like you have a quirk of your own," she said before she stalked off, wanting to get healed by Recovery Girl.

He was about to give a sigh of relief before he was suddenly blindsided by a bear hug from his childhood friend, Kacchan. She hugged him fiercely, whispering in his ear, "I'm glad you're okay, you idiot."

"Kacchan…"

"You were lucky, you dumb bitch," she said before pulling him away, looking him in the eye. "What if that monster had managed to hit you, huh? You would have gotten knocked the fuck out, Izuku!"

"But my Iron Man suit—"

"Will not always save you!" she argued, not letting him get a word in, wiping away some of the tears threatening to go down her face.

He decided not to say anything as he returned the embrace, letting her cry lightly, in fear of losing him.

"Young Midoriya, I must say that—oh, sorry. Am I interrupting something?" All Might asked, raising an eyebrow at the two. "Teenage love…"

"You're not interrupting anything, All Might," Bakugo said, leaving the embrace and giving a kiss on his lips, leaving him to sulk somewhere else.

"As I was saying, Young Midoriya, your spiked knuckle dusters did quite a good job against that brute!" she praised, handing the two of them over to the young lad before getting to the point, "How did you manage to make these in seconds? Last time I checked you were quirkless," she joked. Midoriya wordlessly held the two nanotech spiked knuckle dusters close to his nanotech container, letting it turn back pure nanomachines and enter back into the container, all the while All Might watched in awed interest. "You remind me of my friend Dana Shield, what with your engineering skills."

Izuku blushed before waving off the praise, "Ah! I mean, I'm not as smart as the infamous Dana Shield, but thank you, All Might!" he humbly denied, even though a part of him knew he was smarter than the woman.

"Nonsense, Young Midoriya! You managed to make…what did Dana call it?" she thought aloud to herself.

"It's nanotechnology, miss."

"Right! Dana has tried making nanotech for years before she gave up on the project, thinking that it was too high tech for the century we're in. But you, of course, have proved her wrong!" she bellowed out, disturbing everyone around them. She then took out her smartphone and asked, "Would you mind putting on and off your suit of armor so I can send a video to her?"

Midoriya could smell the possibilities of getting the attention of one of the most genius inventors to look at him, "Okay, All Might! Tell me when we're rolling."

"And…go!"

Izuku tapped the nanotech container twice, his Iron Man suit forming over him in seconds seamlessly. After waiting a couple of seconds after it formed he mentally commanded his suit to melt away, it going back into its container.

"Thank you, Young Midoriya! I'll leave you be for now, as duty calls!" All Might thanked before jumping away, sailing into the sky.

"Why does it seem like she's always in a rush when she talks to us?" he asked aloud, looking to where he last saw her in the air.

"I have no idea, Sir. Perhaps she has a time limit for some inane reason?"

"Get real, JARVIS. What type of superheroine would have a time limit to be a heroine?" Midoriya argued. "I mean that would be ridiculous," he concurred.

It was the day after the USJ Incident, and after getting fussed over by his mother, he finally managed to convince her that he needed to go to his lab to do some work. After taking a train ride to Geonosis Tech, Midoriya went through the lobby to the elevator and took it down to his lab. Now inside his personal workshop he decided to make a whole new portal gun, taking out the half-used portal fluid with some difficulty to put aside for later. He decided to make it mostly by hand, like he did with the original, as it felt more real that way. Even though the SIF could make it easily within an hour (based on how many parts were truly inside of it), he liked the challenge (and also felt that he was overly reliant on the fabricator).

Midoriya worked and worked on it, soldering the small motherboard to various electrical components with his soldering iron. He screwed in screws, placed glass in its respective places, that sort of thing until it was finished. It had fewer design flaws, such as now having a keypad with a dial and four buttons that will auto-select favorited places within the multiverse; and it also was smaller, and made of nanotechnology, meaning that his Mark L could incorporate his portal gun to shoot out a portal from his hand/arm.

While he was at it he decided to make a nanotech version of Interdimensional Goggles, so that his Iron Man helmet could utilize the technology if he was ever in a pickle. He stored both the portal gun and the goggles in his nanotech container on his sternum, all the parts fitting comfortably inside. He took it off and plugged it into his computer, setting new commands for the devices he added so he could summon them at a moment's notice with purposeful taps to the container.

"Sir, the CEO of Geonosis Tech is coming down to your level. I believe that it is bad news," JARVIS spoke calmly, informing his creator through his sunglasses.

"Thanks, J," Izuku said as he finished up the programming and put the nanotech container, henceforth being called the "NTC," away. He cleaned himself up and waited for the individual to arrive.

"Mr. Midoriya, a pleasure to meet you again," Hisoka began, looking over the room. There were many displays on the wall with many different types of support gear, some that he hadn't even submitted. "I'll be blunt like I usually am with you: Your contract with the company is about to expire, and so you must vacate the lab that was loaned to you immediately. You have 24 hours to get your inventions out of here, otherwise whatever is left behind will become property of Geonosis Tech."

"I signed the extension agreement to extend my lease, what happened to that?" Izuku asked, not happy that this was happening. His access to money and resources were dwindling away in front of his eyes.

"I declined it," Hisoka simply said, a frown on her face. "Based on the preliminary findings by our IT department, it was discovered that you took over our security systems and had backdoor access to many systems and information," she said with slight venom in her tone of voice. She watched as the young man winced at being caught, reaching into his back pocket and pulling out a flask, downing the contents of what she presumed to be alcohol. "You know that's illegal, right?"

"It's-it's—BELCH!—not alcohol, ma'am. It's Pepsi—BURP!—" he burped out, rubbing his eyes in dismay.

"Not that, I don't give a damn about what you drink. You could go to jail or prison with what you did to our systems. I, however, vouched for you and managed to get you off the hook with what you brought to our company, namely your arc reactor technology for us and the city."

"Fine, I get it. I'll get my shit out of my former lab. I assume I'll still be paid for leasing the massive arc reactor?"

"Yes, sadly," she monotoned.

"'Sadly?' For you maybe," he said before tilting his flask upside down, sad that it was empty. "Is that all, ma'am? Or do you have more bad news for me?" he asked cheekily, hiding his growing anger with humor.

"No, that is all. It was nice working with you, Mr. Midoriya," she lied, leaving him be to stew in anger and betrayal, "alone" in his lab.

"Fuck."

He kicked the vibranium cubes in the back of his (former) lab. It rippled purple in color as it absorbed the power of his kick.

"Fuck!"

He flipped over a table with finished equipment on it, sending it tumbling to the ground. The vials filled with a mysterious liquid shattered on impact, spilling their contents on the floor.

"Fuckity fuck fuck!" he exclaimed, pulling at his hair harshly as he barely accepted that he was losing his lab and, with it, his funding. Sure, his massive arc reactor would probably keep him afloat with whatever he needed for inventions but where would he store them? It's not like he had a secret lab or anything, there was no place in this universe that he owned that…

"Wait a minute, why am I thinking so small?" he asked himself, tapping his NTC and spawning his portal gun and Interdimensional Goggles. He plugged his goggles into his computer, turning on a specific program that he allowed him to sift through the infinite realities and find a specific one suited to his goals. He typed for a solid ten minutes, checking out elseworld after elseworld. "A world filled with dinosaurs? No, too dangerous to work there. A world that's like Terminator mixed with Detroit: Become Human? Pass, too weird and dangerous, yet again. A post-apocalyptic world that's like Fallout? Maybe, but there must be something better, something remote and unique," he murmured to himself until he stumbled upon it:

A reality where Earth was a series of broken platforms floating adrift in space, each one having a survivable atmosphere and having a building-sized complex on it.

It was perfect as he keyed in the location into his portal gun, taping his NTC to don his Iron Man suit just in case he was about to enter an area with low oxygen. He entered the green fluidic portal and appeared at one of the complexes in question, JARVIS telling him it was safe to breathe. Izuku retracted his protective suit as he wandered around, finding that he had plenty of space for his inventions and gadgets, and he even had Japanese wall outlets integrated throughout the entirety of the building. In the basement was a failing generator, one that curiously had a depleted fusion core from the Fallout games. He took it out and held it, examining it in detail until he got an idea.

He mentally told his suit to activate his portal gun technology and portaled back to his former lab, quick-starting his SIF to analyze the empty fusion core. Once it was done he brought up the schematics of his arc reactor technology and put the two side by side, before he then manipulated the designs so that the fusion core top portion ended in an arc reactor, basically jury-rigging and piggybacking off the fusion core technology with his own. He told FRIDAY to build the device as he proceeded to portal away all the stuff in his lab to his Secret Lab.

Yeah, that's what he'll be calling it. He liked the name, sue him.

For the display decorations that was his freeze ray and his arc mine and the like, he carried it in by hand and began decorating his new living space. He even removed the secret Queen-sized bed he installed in the wall of his former lab and made a small living space in his Secret Lab; deciding to bring in appliances from the supermarket later to make it more livable.

He portaled his vibranium cubes to yet another corner, but this was in a large empty room that he'd dub "Storage." Halfway through bringing his supercomputer to his Secret Lab, FRIDAY alerted him that the modified fusion core was complete. He placed the supercomputer in a good spot and plugged it in, knowing that it wouldn't turn on without power. He went back to his former lab and grabbed the modified fusion core from the SIF before turning it off, lifting it up while in his Iron Man suit and carrying it over to his Secret Lab. He placed it near his computer as he went back into the basement, plugging in his arc reactor fusion core and hoping that it worked. It blinked on and off quickly as it soon turned on and stabilized in brightness, bringing power to the facility for the first time in eons.

"Yes!" he celebrated, pumping a fist in the air as he saw the lights turned on, banishing the darkness. He quickly flew (literally) upstairs, finding that everything was plugged in was now being powered and working. "Double yes!" he whooped as he made one last portal to his former lab. His excitement turned to melancholy as it washed over him, remembering all the memories he made in this very lab.

His first Iron Man suit.

His first time building his flying DeLorean.

Doing his first commission for a friend that wasn't Kacchan.

Having sex with Mineta, that perverted piece of work.

It was all good times, times that was being taken from him. He sighed before affectionately patting the naked wall, "You've been good to me, girl. Stay awesome," he farewelled. "JARVIS, relinquish our hold over Geonosis Tech pertaining everything but my technology."

"At once, Sir," his AI intoned, going silent for a second before speaking up, "It is done."

"Good. We're done here," Midoriya said as he left the lab through a portal, the security cameras and listening devices working once more as soon as he left. He came out on the other side next to his DeLorean, which he had been neglecting for too long. He entered and pulled out his keys which he always had on him as he plugged in his portal gun into the center console, before pressing a button which caused the car to shoot out a portal big enough for his car to fit through. He drove through the portal, emerging in the Storage area of his Secret Lab. He parked it nicely enough, turning off the engine to not make him suffer through carbon monoxide poisoning. He wondered what to build next as he made his way to his newest lab, which was the cleanest it has ever been, which could not do. "A clean workshop is an inactive workshop," he mused as he thought on what to do before getting a devilish idea. He exited his Secret Lab and scoured the area surrounding him to see if there were any towers, and luckily there was one, a tall thin tower that was inactive. "FRIDAY, start production on industrial-strength power lines," he ordered.

"On it, Boss," she responded. "Wait time is ten minutes."

"Good," he replied as he flew over in his Iron Man suit and went to the top, to the transmitter portion of it. He pulled out the box and brought it over to his Secret Lab, placing it on a clean desk. He fiddled with it until he could connect a bootleg time crystal and keying in his own personal dimension. He took the industrial-strength power lines (as they were now finished) and hooked up to the tower and his new lab, powering the transmitter. He then installed the box and turned it on, instantly connecting him to his universe's internet, which coincidentally told him that he missed over twenty calls from his mother from over the last two hours. "Shit!" he exclaimed as he quickly dialed his mom.

"Sweetie, thank god you're okay! Where are you?! The lady at the front desk said you were evicted from your lab!" his mother wailed.

"I'm fine, Mom, I swear. I was just finding and setting up a new place," he truthfully answered. "Is it time to come home already?" he asked.

"Yes! Come home, please!" his mom pleaded.

"Okay, I'll be home as soon as possible. Love you, Mom," he said.

"Love you, Izuku," she said before he ended the call, sighing to himself.

"JARVIS, set up a baby-monitoring program like you did in my former lab," Midoriya ordered.

"Most certainly, Sir," his AI told him, "As soon as you allow me access to the lab's power controls."

"Right, that'd probably help," Izuku said as he connected his supercomputer (and therefore JARVIS) to the power grid, his AI soon turning off everything except the bare essentials. "Good, make it happen by 8:00 PM in my original universe, please," he requested as he portaled outside his and his mom's house, entering the residence shortly soon after.

"Izuku!" his mom cried, giving him a hug as soon as he entered, before he was able to take off his shoes at the door.

"Hey, Mom," he said, hugging her back. "Why are you so worried about me?"

"Why? Sweetie, not only did you get attacked at school from hundreds of villains," she exaggerated, "but you also go missing after getting evicted from your lab! What mother wouldn't worry about their darling baby boy?!"

"Mom, I'm sorry for worrying you, but I'm getting to that age where I don't need to be fussed over so much, you know?" he tried to argue. "I'm becoming a—" he paused, not really wanting to say what he was going to say, "—big boy."

"Aww, sweetie!" his mother kissed his cheeks before hugging him again. "Okay, I see you're a big boy now. But you'll always be my baby, you hear?" she reminded him. "Now, I think we should eat some dinner," she suggested as she ushered her baby boy to the kitchen, where the smell of a freshly made stir fry was waiting for them.
