The dust eventually settled and the Titans woke up. Raven was the first one, and she quickly got to work clearing up the mess and making sure the others weren't still unconscious. They had all taken some rough hits, and it would probably be best if they went back to the tower to rest.
It was slow work getting everybody up and walking again. Raven could tell just how much pain everybody was in. She herself had quite a headache, but she pushed past the pain to help her friends out.
Robin may have had a broken rib or two after the punches he took. Raven knew her magic could only do so much healing, and she wanted to wait until they were in a comfortable space. Even with what she could do, Robin would most likely be out of commission for a while.
Starfire had quite a few burn marks, which probably wouldn't be difficult to heal up. Her concussion from the collapsed building, on the other hand, could be a different story. So Starfire was probably out, too.
Beast Boy was pretty bruised up from all the debris and rocks, but for the most part he seemed fine. So did Cyborg, so at least she had a couple teammates that could help her in the event of another fight.
She helped everybody up, letting them regain their balance before helping them back to Titans Tower. There would be time for making plans later.
-End Scene
A few hours later, after everybody had time to rest, Raven realized she would have to explain what was going on. Everybody else seemed out of sorts, although she wasn't entirely surprised.
"So, I know this isn't normal, but we lost." She put it bluntly, somewhat due to a lack of words, but she also just wanted to get it out.
It didn't take long for panic to set in on the rest of the team. "What do you mean we lost? We cannot let them keep the control!" Starfire asked.
"What do you suggest we do to fix it? We went into it unprepared! We didn't stand a chance, Star!" Robin groaned, a sharp pain in his rib after he got too excited.
"Wait! That's it! We need to be more prepared for next time."
"Cy, we're down a couple members. How do you suggest we fight them 5 vs. 3?" Raven was having none of it. If she had to be the voice of reason, this wasn't going to work out at all.
"Just give me a bit. What power did each of your opponents have? Robin, starting with you."
"Chad didn't seem to have any powers. He was just incredibly skilled with hand-to-hand. Unless he's the one who took my staff."
"Wait. Somebody was fighting me with a staff like yours, Hector, I think. Maybe he took it. Master thief, maybe?"
"How do we know Alphius didn't take it? He kept turning invisible on me as I was trying to fight him."
"This is all so confusing," Starfire groaned. "You all know about the Blaze already, and I think we know the Gray's abilities."
"I think I have a plan." Robin didn't take long to put the pieces together, and the plan was easy to formulate from there.
"Then let's get talking."
