It's been almost... 2 months. Sorry about that! I started disliking the way this story was being written, so I almost rewrote it. But I'll save the rewriting for the AO3 version. Regardless of my own biases, I hope you enjoy!
Here is the prequel of the previous chapter.

"Maybe you could… I dunno, show off your strength and throw him across the courtyard?"
"Nah, that would rile him up… Ooh- you could totally pin him down with your thighs and crush his head-"
"That would be way too forward-"
"What are you two scheming?"
Zane had just walked into their shared room and spotted Kai and Jay on their bunk beds. Kai was hanging upside down from the top bunk, but had nearly fallen off when the door had creaked open. Jay lay on his stomach on the bottom bunk, feet in the air, and he seemed very relieved for whatever reason.
"Oh, Zane!" he breathed out with a weak smile. "It's just you. Sorry, we thought it was someone else."
"I would assume 'someone else' is meaning Cole?" he hummed, walking over and sitting beside Jay, avoiding knocking Kai in the head. "Alright, what were you two trying to do?"
"Well… uh- y'know how Cole's really oblivious?" Kai started. He seemed hesitant, causing the master of ice to tilt his head. He nodded after a moment. "We were just trying to figure out how to get it across that we're attracted to him, without actually telling him we are. W-We wanted to see if he was attracted to us…"
"You were going to tease him?"
"... Yes?"
"Would it not be easier to just tell him that we want him to join our relationship?"
"It would!" Jay huffed. "But… but it's so… ugh- I don't know!" He looked over to the white ninja with a frustrated expression. "It was easy for you to get Kai and I hooked into this whole thing, but with our luck, we'd ask him and he'd play it off as a joke or a friend thing. He's so stuck up his ass, even straight up asking him to join us or telling him we like him, he wouldn't take it seriously. He wouldn't believe it."
Kai nodded solemnly, flipping back up onto his mattress and flopping down on it. "So, we decided that this was the only other way."
Zane hummed, starting to understand. But he still felt unsure if it was the best approach. "Have we… tried other ways to tell him?" he asked more hesitantly.
"Everything!" Jay groaned, tugging at his hair. The white ninja quickly pulled his hands away. "I took him out for tea and cake, and he seemed to like it, but on the walk back, he kept this weird distance between us. Kai worked out with him and tried flirting it up with him, but he tried not to stare and left early. Hell, you let him into your kitchen so he could cook with you, and he still hasn't gotten the message. FSM, I don't know what else to do. I really want him to be with us, but I swear, if this doesn't work, I'm going to strangle him-"
"I know, I know." Goodness, he really hadn't realized how often they had been getting one on one time with him. He hummed quietly to himself. "Perhaps if we were all present, he would be more comfortable with this?"
Silence met his suggestion.
"Goddamnit, the one thing we haven't done," Kai cursed, the bed creaking above as he thrust his head into the pillow with frustration. "Zane, if you end up being right about this, I'm gonna give you the biggest kiss."
The master of ice flustered and laughed.
"Wait, wait… you need me for sparring?"
Zane nodded with a smile. "Yes. We have not faced an enemy in a while and feel as if we are getting rusty," he explained, looking into those warm honey-colored eyes, ones that were filled with misplaced surprise. "You are the master of earth and are built to be the strongest against all elements after all."
Cole rubbed the back of his neck, eyes looking away from the nindroid's. "Oh- yeah, yeah. Of course I can help you guys," he hummed. Zane tried not to smile more as his scan brought up his bashful rise in temperature.
"Awesome!" Jay cheered before marching towards the courtyard. Zane chuckled to himself as he followed, while Kai stepped closer to Cole to drag him over with them, hands wrapped around his bicep. Of course he wanted to feel his thick arms- he would always go on and on about how much he wanted the master of earth to absolutely crush him.
"I call first!" Kai shouted towards the master of lightning, desperately trying to hide his smirk. Jay groaned, but didn't protest it. Zane didn't either. Kai was probably the best to go first, since they needed to know just how oblivious the master of earth would be in this scenario; the red ninja always had a difficult time with subtlety.
Jay sat on the brick steps beside Zane as Kai and Cole got into position across from one another. The nindroid could see Kai's excitement, barely even needing the vitals that showed his rising heart rate. He wouldn't stop fidgeting in his position, clenching and unclenching his hands. Cole, on the other hand, seemed to still think this was just a normal training session, based on how he focused on the master of fire.
Oh, dear…
At Jay's shout, the black and red ninja lurched toward one another.
Normally, the master of fire would be far more aggressive in his movements, but he had gone for a different approach this time it seems. Instead of striking forward and working to quickly pin his opponent, he moved more defensively, dodging anything Cole threw at him. Once he started to get crowded, Kai leaped over the master of earth, flipping forward.
Was he trying to impress him? Flirt with his body? He seemed to be moving more fluidly, moving himself in a way that didn't allow for his opponent to hit him, but also forced them to look at him. It seemed to be mesmerizing in some way, because at some point, the master of earth threw less punches and got more stuck in his head.
Kai took his opportunity and struck the other down with his usual dive into his opponent's middle, laughing all the while. He grabbed his wrists and pinned them above his head.
The black ninja curled a bit so his head didn't hit the stone floor as hard, but he seemed surprised when the red ninja's chest met his face. Zane picked up a spike in his heart rate when Kai suddenly smirked down at him and pressed his chest firmly against Cole's face, practically smothering him. Even with dark skin, he could tell his face was very warm right now.
Suddenly, though, the master of fire got up, allowing Cole to gulp down air.
"Good match," Kai hummed with a snicker, throwing a hand out to the master of earth for him to take. He did take it, but almost delicately. "Next time, I want you to hit me hard, though."
Then he headed off to where Jay and Zane were, a challenge hidden in his smirk that was pointed in Zane's direction. The master of ice hummed. So, this was a competition was it? He glanced over to Cole, who seemed to be telling himself off. He looked utterly shocked and confused. Fine, then. He'd have to step it up a bit to get through this man's thick skull.
"I suppose it's my turn," the white ninja started, standing from the step he had been sitting on. He walked over to the master of earth, his movements smoother than usual. He could tell the other noticed based on the fact his warm eyes were no longer meeting his own. "Is that alright with you?"
"Uh… yeah, of course it is."
They got into their positions, and Zane could see how Cole's gaze hardened a bit as he forced himself to focus. His mind must be thinking of Kai and his chest. Well, that certainly wouldn't do, now would it?
Jay called out for them to start, and Zane instantly sprayed the ground with a thin layer of ice. Kai squawked from where he was sitting, and the master of ice chuckled at that. The ice seemed to have distracted Cole as well, seeing as he was focusing on not falling over, which gave Zane plenty of time to swiftly strike at him. Unfortunately, it seems that the master of earth was ready, blocking the blow with a hand.
What surprised him more was when the black ninja skillfully slid around on the ice, attacking the white ninja. "When did you learn to ice skate?" Zane couldn't help but ask, the two continuing their sparring, blow for blow being blocked.
"I got a bit of practice during the winter," Cole replied, grunting with effort to keep himself from sliding too far with each strike. "There's a pond near the base of the mountain. I'll take you there some time."
With a huff, he pinned Zane's wrist between his hands, before he used his strength to make the white ninja lose his balance, yanking his arm downward and causing him to yelp. Then he kicked his legs out from under him, a hand going to his chest to slam the nindroid against the icy floor. The breath was knocked out of the other as he looked up at the victor.
"I would love that," he managed to answer. It got a smile from the master of earth.
Then he was helped up. "Back to our session; I have a few things to mention."
"Of course you do," Cole sighed, though the fond tone in his voice was strong. He could feel his honey-colored eyes on him, warm with affection. He really was just… so obvious. He couldn't help but adore it. "I thought you said you were rusty."
"I said we feel as if we are rusty, not that we are," he responded easily to the tease, doing his best to hide the smirk. "Now; I believe you should be taking advantage of your size and your strength. While we train, you are not seeing me as an enemy. In battle, I doubt you would be as kind to your enemy. The part where you threw me against the ground was excellent, however."
Cole sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, I guess… you started the conversation, though."
"Would you have responded if the enemy had asked you a question?"
"... No…"
"Exactly." Zane stepped forward and tilted Cole's head up to look at him. The black ninja's expression morphed into one of surprise at the gentle and intimate action. "I know it might be difficult, seeing as you've known me for quite a while, but the next time we spar, I want you to be a little rougher." He watched as his eyes dilated just a little and his face warmed.
Then he carefully took the other's bigger hands and slowly slid them around his waist. He suppressed a shiver as he watched them easily connect, listening to the quick intake of air from the earth elemental.
"Like this, you could easily crush me, lift me, toss me… As long as you're quick enough, you'll be able to do just about anything to me." He knew this was absolutely terrible advice when it came to fighting enemies, but the intoxicating link was so worth it… It wasn't like Cole was even half-listening anyway, too busy staring at his thin waist. He could feel the gentle trembling of his thick fingers.
Although he hadn't been too fond of the idea before, all this teasing was rather fun. He almost wanted to warn him of the upcoming session against Jay… but he anticipated his reaction far too much. He definitely wanted to see it. He was already practically choking on his saliva now. What the master of lightning would do to him had to be more obvious than this, right?
Well, the implication was easily driven into Cole, so he figured this was a win.
"I'm sure I'll get to see it in action next time, hm?" he started again, gently drawing the other's hands from around him and backing off. "Good luck against Jay." He did mean it, but if the master of earth was even aware of what was going on, he would have thought it was just a joke.
Once he joined Kai and Jay back at the stone steps, Zane couldn't help the prideful smile. He could feel the heat of Cole's gaze still on him, knowing exactly what he was thinking about.
Zane nudged Jay. "Your turn, sweetheart," he hummed. He caught the look Jay gave him, one with a dangerous glint. He was going to give Cole a beating, and he could tell by how he pranced on over to him.
"Holy fucking shit," Kai started whispering to him as soon as the earth elemental had stopped staring. "Man, I should've done that- why didn't you tell me you were going to do that?"
"Because you would have stolen the idea and would not have done it nearly as well."
"... Fuck you." Zane giggled at that as he sat down beside him, nudging their shoulders together affectionately. "... So, how is he?"
"Bodily temperature and hormones are rising, defense is weakening," he responded easily. He could tell by how much more uncertain the master of earth's movements were, the barely-there tremble in his knees and fingers. It was fascinating to see him reacting like this. He wondered if they'd get to see more of it, whether they finally got him to join their relationship or not. "Hopefully, Jay goes easy on him."
This time, Kai called out for them to begin, and the immediate blue zip from the master of lightning made Zane shake his head in amusement. Of course he wouldn't go easy on him.
Cole was still disoriented after the other two sparring sessions and was barely aware of where the quick bastard had gone. He yelped once he felt a zap on his arm and he whipped around. He could see the other, but it was obvious Jay was being slippery, using his tiny form and quick movements to his advantage against his mostly distracted best friend.
Jay ran circles around the other, making the black ninja dizzy, and zapping him all the while. Then, suddenly, Cole's leg stuck out and he was tripped. He caught himself before shooting back at the other, this time attacking him head on. The master of earth was wobbling a bit, and his vision must still be spinning. Zane couldn't help his quiet chuckle.
Despite that the black ninja was doing pretty decent at blocking the attacks, but he was being driven back. The master of lightning easily shoved him back against the stone floor with a confident shout to the sky, before his hands came down to his thighs, strings of lightning at the tips of his fingers as he gripped them.
They all watched as Cole's fingers and heels dug into the floor, hips thrust forward as he shook. Zane was the only one that caught the way his eyelids fluttered at the stimulation. He could sense his pounding heart and the large spike of hormones, as well as the weakening of his muscles.
"Cole, are you alright?" he asked, quickly going over and stopping Jay.
Cole quickly yet weakly turned over, sounding as if he were panting. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine- just… I-I need to go to take a shower."
"Oh- do you need any help-"
"No- no, I got it!"
As soon as he could, Cole's weak legs were shooting him to the bathroom, leaving the three standing there.
Zane immediately turned to Jay. "What was this I heard about the whole 'crushing his head between your thighs' being too forward?" he asked, crossing his arms with a pointed look.
"I just got excited!" he responded sheepishly, rocking back and forth on his heels.
"Jay, you could have hurt him-"
"B-But I didn't-"
Zane sighed quietly, gently taking Jay's hands. "I know… I know you didn't. But the risk was raised. I thought it was going to be a light zap?"
"Well… it was supposed to be. I just got carried away…" Jay pouted a little, looking up at the ice elemental with his light brown eyes.
The white ninja couldn't help his gentle smile before placing a kiss on the back of his hands. "I know. At least he seems fine, and you didn't hit anything important," he admitted softly.
The blue ninja smiled at that. "And his reaction was hot," he added, biting his lip.
They shared a laugh. "That wasn't exactly the point of this, but… yes, I suppose it was quite attractive." He gently squeezed their hands. "Just be more gentle… unless he asks specifically the opposite."
"I will, I will." The two shared a loving kiss before Jay suddenly realized something. "Where's Kai?"
Zane sighed with a shake of his head. "Probably eavesdropping on Cole. We should catch up to him." He gently tugged the master of lightning along with him.
