Harvey Reginald Specter
"Harvey Reginald Specter!" Harvey hears his wife's high-pitched scream coming from the bathroom and squeezes his eyes shut, pressing his fingers into his forehead for a moment. Whenever she calls him by his full name, it usually means there's a problem, one that Donna considers enormous while he might not see it as such. After taking a deep breath, he stands up and walks apprehensively to the bathroom, where the scream originated.
"It's me," he says, leaning against the door frame, attempting to adopt a playful tone that only seems to annoy her more.
"The laundry goes in this basket," she growls in complete frustration, opening the basket. "Come on, do it. Show me you're capable."
"Donna!" he rolls his eyes at her.
"Do it if you wanna sleep with me tonight," she immediately threatens, clearly fed up with this situation that seems to repeat itself almost daily. He swallows his response and does as his wife asks. She gives him a mock pat on the back, the kind he often does with Mike. "See, you can do it? It's not that hard, is it?" she scolds him, keeping a safe distance so he can do nothing but listen. "That was lesson number one," she continues, before he can speak. "Second lesson... The toothpaste has a cap. Do you know what that cap is for?"
"To cover it up..." he says reluctantly.
"Exactly! Now do it."
"You know I'm over 50, don't you?"
"Then show me that you can behave like an adult living with his wife, and not like a child who expects their parents to do everything for them."
"Aren't you exaggerating a bit?" he pouts and wants to reach her, but she quickly moves away.
"Do it. Or should I threaten you again?"
Harvey grumbles like a child and puts the cap back on the toothpaste. Determined to make up for this scolding tonight, with her naked and underneath him. "Happy now?"
"I'll be happy when you do it without me having to ask. Grow up once and for all!" she tells him, and she leaves the bathroom, evading his touch.
"And now you're leaving?"
"Yeah, I'm going out with Rachel. I'll probably have dinner with her too. I don't know what time I'll be back."
"Oh really?" he says, frustration building up inside him.
"Yes, really," she confirms. "What's wrong? Did you think you were charging this scolding in bed?" he doesn't answer, but the expression on his face gives him away completely. "Well, I'm sorry to inform you that it won't be happening like that."
"I'll wait up for you," he says determinedly.
"We'll see if you can stay awake, Grandpa!" she teases him, playfully pinching his cheeks.
"But you threatened me that we wouldn't sleep together tonight. That's cheating!" he protests.
"I married a lawyer, I know how to bend the rules." She's already walking away, her voice fading as she moves further from him, and he bangs his forehead against the door frame in frustration.
