Grocery Store
After over a month of living in Seattle, Donna finally convinces Harvey to go grocery shopping together. He had been adamant about shopping online, but she was too curious about how Harvey would fare in a physical store and wanted to find out.
Based on their previous conversations, especially the one about napkins, wine, and cheese when Mike visited them in New York, Donna didn't think he would know how to navigate a store like that. And she was right. Harvey has no clue how to locate items in such a place, simply following behind her like a reluctant child.
"Do you see now why we should stick to online shopping? We would've been done by now. We could be spending this time on something much more fun."
She halts by the canned food aisle and turns to face him. "I need you to do something, Harvey," she says seriously, raising her index finger and leaning in closer to whisper. "Think of plans we can make that don't involve me being naked, can you?"
He huffs and shakes his body, resembling a child throwing a tantrum. "But my favorite plans are the ones that involve you being naked," he murmurs, pouting against her lips and brushing her hair off her shoulders.
"But it can't be the only thing we do," she asserts, pulling away slightly. "Go find something we can cook together. I'll wait for you in the fruit and vegetable section."
Donna spends several minutes alone there, selecting vegetables to prepare with the pasta she assumes Harvey has gone to find—it's the only dish they know how to cook. However, she is once again surprised by him. He returns with a 12-pack of whipped cream, a mischievous grin adorning his face.
"Are you messing with me?" she laughs as he places the pack in the cart. "Twelve cans?"
He shrugs and swiftly kisses her lips. "One for each year we weren't together. We have some lost time to make up for."
Donna bursts into laughter, shaking her head. "I told you to bring something we can cook," she remarks, leaning in close to his ear. "Just a plan that doesn't involve me being naked," she whispers.
"You're what I want to cook," he retorts, pulling her closer by her waist. "That's why I'm going to grab some strawberries right now to prepare myself a delicious dessert tonight," he adds, giving her a peck on the cheek before heading off in search of strawberries.
"God, you never change," she chuckles, and he laughs in response.
A few minutes later, Harvey appears by her side again, holding a small strawberry in his hand. He makes her turn toward him and, without saying a word, brings the strawberry to her lips.
"Harvey!" she exclaims, laughing.
"Give me a sneak peek," he says eagerly.
She laughs and takes a bite of the strawberry he's holding. "Dessert comes after dinner." She declares firmly. "Now go grab some pasta."
