Onboard the Nemesis, Starscream was watching a recorded replay of Megatron's death within the exploding Space Bridge.
"Such a shame. But I applaud you, Megatron." Starscream said with a smirk. "You certainly made a grand exit."
"You've been waiting for something like this to happen for a long time, haven't you?" Skywarp questioned as he, Thundercracker and Brawl watched from behind.
"Obviously." Starscream chuckled. "What gave it away, Skywarp?"
"Nothing much." Skywarp muttered while rolling his optics.
"I just hope he can finish the job that Megatron couldn't." Thundercracker whispered.
"If that happens, I'll be stacking Energon Cubes for the rest of my life." Brawl replied in sarcasm.
Soundwave then showed up and he approached Starscream.
"Ah, Soundwave." Starscream greeted. "Que the audio visual. I wish to address the troops."
Soundwave slightly nodded before he programmed all of the monitor screen to show Starscream's face to every Vehicon on the Nemesis.
"The loss of Megatron, leader of the great Decepticon uprising, is certainly a blow to our cause." Starscream said. "Yet, we mustn't despair over his tragic demise. But instead, embrace his ultimate sacrifice and build upon the foundation he laid. With an even mightier hand!"
Just then, a Vehicon walked forwards and raised his hand to speak out an objection.
"With all due respect, Commander Star-." The Vehicon said, only to stop his sentence when Starscream gave him a frown. "Eh… Lord Starscream…"
"Yes, yes, what is it?" Starscream questioned.
"I'd we failed to conquer Earth under Lord Megatron's command, what hope do we have now while the Autobots still defend it?" The Vehicon asked.
"And let's not forget about those magic humans that came from this Boiling Isles place." Thundercracker reminded.
"Yeah. What makes you think you'll be able to lead us to victory, Scream?" Brawl questioned, crossing his arms as Starscream groaned in annoyance.
"Allow me to be crystal clear." Starscream said. "I studied for millennia under our former master. Thus, I am equipped to lead you. I, Megatron's true air, Lord Starscream! Emperor of destruction!"
Unfortunately for him, the Vehicons only muttered to themselves in unsure tones. It's obvious that they weren't convinced that Starscream has what it takes to be a greater leader than Megatron.
"That was a nice evil speech, Starscream. We're just gonna leave you to deal with your own problems now." Skywarp told his commanding officer in an unamused tone.
"Don't worry, you'll have Soundwave to keep you company." Thundercracker assured before the two Seekers and Brawl began to leave the main deck.
"Emperor of destruction? More like jester of destruction." Brawl mocked with a light chuckle.
The three Decepticons then exited the room through the main door, while Starscream scowled annoyingly as he walked along the bridge.
"What use are troops who can't rise to the task of inflicting unspeakable destruction in my name?!" Starscream asked in complaint, until he stopped in his tracks when a realisation came to mind. "But wait, legend tells of one capable warrior. One who exists here, upon this very planet. One who can be student to my master."

It was currently morning at the Autobot Base, and Optimus Prime was quietly standing alone while thinking to himself. His thoughts were halted when Ratchet approached him.
"Optimus, why so glum?" Ratchet asked. "This planet… all planets are finally free from Megatron's tyranny."
"I do not disagree, Ratchet. It's just… a small part of me hoped to change Megatron's mind, not extinguish his Spark." Optimus admitted.
"Optimus, his vileness was not slain by your hand, but by his own twisted arrogance!" Ratchet stated aggressively, causing Optimus to sigh in hesitation as the medic calmed down from hearing this. "I'm sorry. I know the two of you had quite a history."
"But the Megatron whom I once fought beside perished eons ago." Optimus replied. "The day he chose to become a Decepticon. The Decepticons may be in disarray, but they aren't without leadership. And while Starscream is no Megatron, he is far from predictable."
But before Ratchet could respond, the two of them heard a loud bang and they turned around to see a massive amount of smoke.
"Decepticons! We're under attack!" Ratchet exclaimed.
He and Optimus raced towards the explosion to repel the so-called Decepticon attack, only to find that it was really Gus and Wheeljack. The Illusionist witch boy had some firework illusions behind him.
"It's no attack, Ratchet. It's just my illusions." Gus said assuringly. "But, I probably shouldn't have practiced making fireworks."
"You got that right, pal." Wheeljack replied in agreement.
"What do you think of this one, Bulk?" Willow asked as Ratchet turned to see her and Bulkhead on the higher platform.
The Plant witch girl made two magic circles with her hands and she made a bunch of vines burst from the ground, which formed into a vine-made statue of Bulkhead that was the same size as her.
"Heh, that looks just like me." Bulkhead said with a chuckle. "You've got some imagination, Willow."
"Thanks. But, I'm gonna need to cut off the leaves." Willow replied, pulling out a pair of scissors and cutting some leaves off the vine statue.
"Okay, Cliff, I'm gonna try again!" Amity told her Autobot Guardian as they were near the other two pairs on the main floor.
"Go ahead, Amity." Cliffjumper said encouragingly.
The pink-haired witch girl summoned some Abomination goo and she commanded it to form a deadly spear in her arms. She then swiped it around with some nice skills, until she stopped when she noticed a few goo drops were splattered across the floor.
"Oops. Probably should've made sure it was more stable before testing it out." Amity admitted sheepishly, making her spear dissolve away.
"I'd still say you're getting good at this." Cliffjumper completed.
"Thanks, Cliff." Amity replied kindly.
"What… in the Allspark… is going on in here?" Ratchet asked in disbelief.
"They're supposed to be practicing their magic skills, today." Hunter answered as he, Vee, Bumblebee and Jazz watched from nearby.
"And just because we're not at the Boiling Isles, it doesn't mean we can't stop learning about what other magic talents we could unlock one day." Luz explained, working on some Glyph magic with Arcee
"Maybe you should try making a more pointier drawing? It could give you a new spell." Arcee told the Hispanic girl while holding up a piece of paper.
"You're a Cybertronian, Arcee. Do you really know how to make a magic Glyph?" Luz asked with a jokingly smile.
"You're a human, Luz. Can you build me a small intestine?" Arcee questioned in response.
"Well, you can't practice your magic in here. You're… making a mess." Ratchet told the children.
"But, Principal Bump would really want us to continue with our training. Even if we're stuck in the Human realm." Gus replied.
"We also need to be well-prepared for battling against any Decepticons if they show up to try and kill us." Amity added, crossing her arms.
"Yeah. If Bulkhead doesn't help me train with my Plant magic…" Willow started saying in agreement.
"Oh? And what does Bulkhead know of your plants?" Ratchet asked rhetorically, turning his head towards the others. "Or Wheeljack of your illusions? Of Cliffjumper of your Abominations? Or…"
"Arcee of my Glyphs?" Luz questioned.
"Precisely, we're not Earthlings or Witches." Ratchet proclaimed. "And they're not scientists."
"But the Autobots are their Guardians, Ratchet." Optimus reminded. "Would it hurt to learn more of their world's culture by helping our young friends with their magic abilities?"
"Well, maybe our young friends should try learning more of Cybertron." Ratchet said.

Meanwhile, Starscream and Soundwave were standing over a large canyon that was located in the middle of a sunny rock land. The communication Decepticon had a radar antenna popping from his back.
"During the Great War, so much Energon was hidden on this forsaken rock that our departed master sent some of Cybertron's greatest to guard it. True warriors, now lying in stasis, waiting to be reawakened." Starscream explained. "Such folly that, late in life, Megatron searched distant space for warriors rather than here, beneath his feet."
Soundwave's scanners were coming up empty and his screen showed no signs of detecting any warriors.
"What do you mean you can't pinpoint his signal?" Starscream asked with a scowl. "I know we are close! Boost the power to your sensors!"
Soundwave did as he was told and then a small dot that created a beeping sound showed up on his screen.
"Yes, there." Starscream sneered, grinning sinisterly.
He and Soundwave then transformed before flying towards the signal to find the warrior they came for.

Back inside the Autobot base, Hunter and Vee were sitting on the high platform while Bumblebee was telling them stories about himself during the War for Cybertron.
"And then, I blasted through the Decepticon squadrons with Prowl and Mirage." Bumblebee explained, while Hunter nodded in understatement. "They had us really outnumbered, but Mirage was able to separate them with his hologram tricks. Once we took them all out, we rendezvoused with Optimus at the Iacon headquarters to plan a counterattack for the Decepticon invasion force. It was a pretty sweet mission for a Scout like me."
"It does sound nice, Bumblebee." Hunter replied with a smile.
"So, how do you make warrior class?" Vee asked curiously.
"It takes lots of experience." Bumblebee answered.
"But I've seen you action, Bee. You're a really skilled fighter." Hunter complemented. "As the former Golden Guard, I should know."
"Thanks, Hunter. That's nice of you to say." Bumblebee replied as Optimus joined them.
"I second your opinion, Hunter." Optimus agreed, placing an hand on the yellow Autobot's shoulder. "But Autobot life cycles are much longer than those of humans and witches. And though it may be hard to believe, our young scout still has much to experience."
Just then, the main console's alarms started going off as the Autobots looked at it to see what was happening.
"Exposed Energon. And it's on the move." Ratchet informed.
"And since we ain't moving it, guess who must be." Wheeljack said.
"Decepticons." Arcee finished.
"Without Megatron?" Willow asked in surprise.
"Unfortunately, Megatron's legacy will live on, as others rise to take his place." Optimus replied. "Autobots, you're duty remains here to help our young friends with their abilities. Ratchet, I may require aid."
However, Ratchet took a look at Luz writing a few Glyphs on the floor.
"Magic is something that is unordinary on Earth. And it is certainly more efficient than this planet's technology." Ratchet admitted, turning back to Optimus. "Perhaps I'm better suited to remain behind and learn more about the properties of the Boiling Isles' magic. It could reveal some interesting results."
"Very well. Bumblebee, Jazz, let us see about this Energon in transit." Optimus Sid to the two Autobots.
"You got it, Prime. I've been itching for some action, today." Jazz replied with an enthusiastic smile, while Bumblebee simply nodded.

At the same time, Starscream and Soundwave were pulling out a large metallic container from the cliff walls and they stopped once it was completely out.
"Excellent, Soundwave." Starscream said. "The cube."
Soundwave took out a Cybertronian box and opened it up, revealing an Energon Cube inside. He pulled out the cube and handed it to Starscream, who inserted it into a square-shaped slot on the container. The Energon cube then began to glow brightly within the slot.
"The Energon infusion, it's working." Starscream said in satisfaction.
A bright light then erupted from the container that caused Starscream and Soundwave to shield their visions. In another part of the canyons, a Ground Bridge opened up and Optimus, Bumblebee and Jazz walked out of it. The three Autobots began hearing the sound of something Cybertronian being activated.
"That doesn't sound good." Bumblebee admitted.
"You got that right, Bee. What's the play, Optimus?" Jazz asked in leader.
"Hold your positions and await my command." Optimus instructed, heading towards the source of the noise.
Back with Starscream, he witnessed the metallic container open up while Soundwave had left to give him some alone time with his new 'loyal warrior'.
"Awaken, warrior! Rise and serve your new master!" Starscream shouted.
When the container was fully opened, it revealed that inside it was a large Decepticon with green and red colourings and a body that showed it's alternate mode was most likely and aerial vehicle. Once he opened his eyes, the new Decepticon stepped out of the container and stretched his limbs before smashing his two fists together.
"Skyquake serves only one master." The Decepticon, now identified as Skyquake, told Starscream with an intimidating glare.
"Excellent. Your loyalty and devotion will set a fine example for the troops." Starscream said, smirking gladly. "No need to be timid, Skyquake. You may bow."
"You fail to grasp my meaning. I am here on a mission, assigned to me by my one master, Megatron!" Skyquake announced.
"Yes, him." Starscream muttered. "Sadly, Megatron is no longer with us."
"Impossible." Skyquake said with a look of disbelief.
"Why is this so difficult for everyone to accept?" Starscream questioned in annoyance. "Skyquake, I located you. I awakened you. Thus I, Lord Starscream, am now your master!"
In response, Skyquake growled and stared down at Starscream, causing the self-declared Decepticon leader to get a worried. Optimus Prime then showed up to make his presence known.
"It has been a while, Skyquake." Optimus said, gaining both Decepticons' attention as Skyquake moved Starscream away.
"Optimus Prime. I haven't seen you since the battle of Technahar." Skyquake told the Autobot leader. "Megatron ordered me to annihilate you."
"That was a long time ago." Optimus reminded.
"That may be, Prime. But my orders still stand." Skyquake replied firmly.
Bumblebee and Jazz watched from behind the edge of a cliff.
"Didn't think I'd see that Con, again." Jazz whispered with a frown.
"Is this ancient war still worth fighting? When so many comrades have been lost, and worlds destroyed?" Optimus asked reasonably. "If you want to be a true leader, Starscream, then stray from Megatron's path and lead the Decepticons toward peace."
"I would be willing to consider a truce." Starscream admitted. "If you would be willing to bow before me, Optimus Prime."
"Again?! Bow to this!" Skyquake stated before he bashed Starscream away, making him crash into the wall.
Starscream limped a little bit while groaning in pain before he transformed and flew away.
"Skyquake, this is a new era. On another world." Optimus told the newly-awakened Decepticon. "Side with the Autobots and help me end this conflict forever!"
"I will never side with a Prime!" Skyquake declared.
He then charged at Optimus and delivered a hard punch, causing the Autobot leader to crash against the cliff. Skyquake grabbed Optimus before he could recover and tossed him aside. Ontop of the cliffs, Starscream found Soundwave standing over the edge and transformed, landing next to the communication Decepticon while shaking his head.
"What need have I for peace when I have Skyquake?" Starscream asked. "With some discipline, he will learn to respect his new master. And once it becomes known that Skyquake destroyed Optimus Prime under my command, all Decepticons will gratefully bow to me."
Bumblebee and Jazz watched as Optimus pulled out his blaster and fired it at Skyquake, he didn't seem very fazed by the shot's impact as he pulled out a machine gun. The large green Decepticon fired his weapon at Optimus, landing a bunch of powerful shots on him and making smoke flow from his body.
"Optimus, hold on! I'm coming!" Bumblebee stated as he jumped from his hiding spot to help out his leader.
"Bee, no!" Jazz called out.
Bumblebee jumped up and blasted Skyquake, who turned around and fired his machine gun in response. The yellow Autobot leaped from cliff to cliff in order to avoid the shots before leaping at Skyquake, only for the Decepticon to grab him by the head and throw him into the wall.
As Skyquake attempted to shoot Bumblebee, Jazz rushed up to him and shoved his machine gun upwards in order to make the bullets get fired in the sky. Skyquake tried punching Jazz into the ground, but then the white Autobot used his energy grapple to swing right over him and land on the other side.
"Too slow, big boy!" Jazz stated with a sly smile.
Bumblebee then recovered and charged at Skyquake, who quickly put his weapon away and tossed the yellow Autobot against the ground. As the battle was continuing, Soundwave recorded it all from his position.
"Do not miss a single moment, Soundwave!" Starscream ordered. "We shall need visual documentation of Optimus Prime's demise. For the historical records."
Optimus gave Skyquake a punch to his face, only for the large green Decepticon to do the same thing in response before attempting to do it again. Optimus quickly avoided the next hit and grabbed Skyquake from behind, but he saw this coming and punched him away. Optimus stumbled back to Bumblebee and Jazz, who regrouped with each other.
"Why won't be transform and attack us from the air?" Bumblebee questioned.
"Good point, Bee." Jazz said in agreement. "Why doesn't he just transform? Is he still a bit woozy from waking up?"
"Skyquake has not yet acquired a vehicle mode." Optimus said quietly.
Skyquake picked his machine gun up and charged at the Autobots with a shout.
"Fall back!" Optimus ordered before he, Bumblebee and Jazz transformed and drove away.
Their speeding tires ended up creating a dust cloud that blocked them from Skyquake's sight.
"So time has made you a coward, Prime?!" Skyquake asked mockingly, shooting out into the open.

Meanwhile, Ratchet had just finished examining the magical abilities of Willow, Gus and Amity and was now approaching Luz, who was still making a few Glyphs on the floor.
"Hey, Ratchet." Luz greeted, noticing the Autobot medic. "Were you able to learn a few things from the others' magic?"
"It was quite fascinating. Willow's control over your planet's green nature, Gus' ability to confuse the vision of others with his illusions and Amity's ability to control piles of mutated sludges and transform them into sentient beings have truly made my mind think differently about the existence of magic." Ratchet explained. "Now, how do these Glyphs of yours produce magic?"
"Well, they usually have to be near any source of magic for them to be used." Luz replied. "But, Earth doesn't even have any magic in it. Just the Boiling Isles."
"Really? Then how exactly were you able to use them against the Decepticons?" Ratchet asked interestingly.
"I don't know." Luz admitted before she remembered something that happened during the Terrorcon fiasco. "But, Vee was able to drain Soundwave's Energon when we infiltrated that array station. She said that it tasted similar to magic."
"Similar to magic? Hmm, that actually does sound accurate." Ratchet told her while rubbing his chin, peeking the Hispanic girl's interest. "Energon is said to be the lifeblood of Cybertron's very creator, Primus. And it was what also gives us the ability to stay alive. While it is not technically a complete magical substance, it still has properties of unnatural powers."
"So… you're saying that Energon is like magic blood?" Luz asked in surprise. "And since the whole Earth is filled with it, I can use my Glyphs wherever I want?"
"It would seem so. And it also explains how Vee is able to consume it." Ratchet answered.
"That sounds great. Do you have any Energon in storage that I could borrow?" Luz asked with a hopeful smile.
"Well… I don't see why not." Ratchet said, shrugging slightly as Luz was pleased to hear that.
"You know, I never would've guessed that Energon could be considered magic." Arcee told the others as they all watched from nearby.
"You said it, Cee." Cliffjumper agreed.
"I guess you learn something new everyday in the human realm." Amity commented.

In the desert canyon, Starscream and Soundwave could no longer see the Autobots or Skyquake.
"We've lost sight of them." Starscream said with a frown. "Soundwave, why aren't you tracking them?"
Just then, Soundwave started showing another signal on his screen.
"What? What is it?" Starscream asked before he took a closer look. "A second Decepticon life signal? But Skyquake is the only sleeper buried area."
But when the aerial Decepticon examined where the signal was coming from, he was most surprised by what it was.
"The sight of our destroyed Space Bridge. You're not telling me that life signal belongs… to Megatron." Starscream gasped in utter shock, worried for already losing his position as leader of the Decepticons. "B-b-but he was microns from the detonation point! Nothing could have survived that blast! Your sensors must be faulty! Ignore the contact! Delete the coordinates!"
However, Soundwave kept showing the coordinates and Starscream realised that Megatron would surly come for him if he truly did survive the explosion.
"Oh, what am I saying? Of course, this… must be investigated." Starscream said nervously. "If Lord Megatron is up there, I shall bring him home. Remain here and monitor the outcome. When Skyquake snuffs Prime's Spark, I must bear witness."
Leaping off the edge, Starscream leaped off the edge and transformed into his Jet form before flying into space to where the Space Bridge had exploded. But, Soundwave didn't fully trust him and replayed his final words.
"I must beat witness." Starscream's voice said.
Soundwave then deployed Laserbeak and the Minicon drone flew after Starscream.

Meanwhile, Agent Fowler was flying a VTOL fighter jet through the skies before he heard a transmission on his communicator.
"Tango 6 Alpha to central command. We're picking up transmissions originating from unidentified technology, possibly hostile." A soldier said on the radio. "We are moving to investigate."
"Negative, Tango 6 Alpha. This is Special Agent William Fowler intercepting." Fowler informed. "Strike your report from the records and provide origin coordinates. I'll take it from here."
Fowler then flew his jet towards the source of the transmissions.

At the exact same time, Skyquake was pursuing Jazz through the canyons as the white Autobot drove as fast as he could. But then, he came up to a dead end and transformed, looking back to see Skyquake approaching him.
"It will be a shame to crush you, Autobot. But it is my duty." Skyquake said.
"You sure about that?" Jazz asked while smirking calmly.
When Skyquake heard the sounds of a truck's horn, he looked behind and saw Optimus himself driving up to him with Bumblebee close behind. Skyquake took out his machine gun and fired it at Optimus, who was unfazed by the strikes and transformed before punching Skyquake straight into a large rock.
"One of the many rules of battling, always check your rear." Jazz quipped.
"Excellent strategy, Jazz." Optimus said proudly.
"Leading him to a dead end so Optimus could ambush him. That was nice." Bumblebee complemented, earning a smile from his comrade.
Skyquake groaned in pain as he collapsed from the cliff walls and fell onto the floor. Optimus approached Skyquake to see that the large green Decepticon was unresponsive. However, Skyquake suddenly opened his eyes and swiped his sharp hands at Optimus, leaving a huge scratch mark on his chest.
"Skyquake, stay down!" Optimus demanded as Skyquake stood up, only for the Autobot leader to punch him in the face and make him fall back down.
But then, the Autobots heard the sound of a jet soaring through the sky and they looked up to see Fowler's VTOL above them.
"Fowler?" Optimus asked.
Skyquake noticed the Jet when he recovered and grinned evilly before a pair of light-green beams shot from his eyes, directing them at Fowler's aerial vehicle.
"Agent Fowler, fall back!" Optimus called out on the com-link.
But before Fowler could do anything, the beams scanned his entire jet and caused the controls to short circuit for a bit. The schematics for the jet appeared in Skyquake's optics, who stood up and ran past the Autobots before suddenly transforming into a green replica of the VTOL.
Skyquake flew high into the sky and soared next to Fowler, he immediately noticed the Decepticon that was posing as his vehicle.
"Well I'll be a Bald Eagle!" Fowler said in shock.
"Air superiority achieved!" Skyquake stated, flying down to the Autobots and firing his vehicle turrets at them.
"Time for us to start driving!" Jazz exclaimed drastically.
He, Optimus and Bumblebee ran from the bullets that were fired at them and quickly transformed, driving as fast as they could. Skyquake then showed a pair of missiles bellow him and aimed them at Bumblebee, but his targeting ended up getting blocked by static due to Fowler opening fire on him.
"Stealing plans for a classified military aircraft will not be tolerated on my watch!" Fowler stated with a glare.
Skyquake managed to slow himself down and flew behind Fowler before shooting a few missiles at him, which the special agent noticed on his radar.
"Heat seekers!" Fowler exclaimed.
He flew his jet down the canyon with the missiles hot on his trail. When Fowler saw that he was coming up to a dead end, he immediately flew up it and this caused all the missiles to crash straight into the wall, missing Fowler completely.
"I still got it." Fowler said with a smile.

In space, Starscream arrived at the wrecked remains of the Space Bridge and transformed, landing onto a piece. He looked around the area and saw no sign of Megatron.
"No one could have survived this." Starscream said in himself. "As I suspected, faulty sensors. The last thing I need now are rumours that Megatron is still…"
But then, Starscream started to hear weak groaning nearby, causing him to gasp softly. He floated through the wreckage and soon found the very body of his old master, Megatron. He looked very damaged with a hole in his chest and most of his body was rusted.
"Megatron." Starscream said.
Suddenly, Megatron's body came to life and he grabbed Starscream by his shoulder, much to the aerial Commander's astonishment. Megatron tried to do something, but then he fell back into unconsciousness.
"But how?" Starscream questioned before noticing a familiar purple substance in Megatron's hole, leering down to his old master. "Ah, Dark Energon. Everyone believes you are deceased. Who am I to disappoint them, Master?"
With an evil smirk, Starscream grabbed the Dark Energon shard and pulled it out of Megatron. The Decepticon leader groaned in agony for a bit before limping down and going offline.
"And this time, stay dead!" Starscream stated, shoving Megatron away with his foot.
But unfortunately, Starscream began hearing some familiar noises and he turned around to see Laserbeak flying towards him, meaning that Soundwave was most likely watching.
"Soundwave! If you are listening, I have found Lord Megatron." Starscream told him comrade, making sure to keep the Dark Energon shard hidden from the Minicon drone. "And he is… unwell. We must transport him to sickbay, immediately."

Back on Earth, Skyquake was still pursing Optimus, Bumblebee and Jazz through the canyon, firing his bullets and missiles at them. One of the missiles got close enough to Optimus and Jazz and they transformed while skidding across the ground.
Bumblebee drove onto a large ramp that led him onto the top of the cliffs and he transformed, running across the ground as Skyquake came back around. Bumblebee rushed towards the side of the cliff and he jumped right off it, landing right ontop of Skyquake. The aerial Decepticon tried scraping him off on the cliff walls, but Bumblebee held on tightly as they both flew high into the air while Optimus and Jazz watched from bellow.
"Bee, what're you doing?!" Jazz questioned on the com-link.
"Bringing Skyquake down!" Bumblebee replied.
Optimus knew that the yellow Autobot was in trouble and contacted Fowler on his radio.
"Agent Fowler, we require immediate assistance!" Optimus told the secret agent.
Fowler understood and he flew to where Bumblebee currently was. Speaking of the yellow Autobot, he nearly fell off Skyquake when he did a quick turn to try and get him off, but he was able to stay on with his tight grip. When Bumblebee got back ontop of Skyquake, he delivered a big punch to his side and caused a bunch of fire and smoke to emit from the large hole before doing the same thing on the other side. Skyquake groaned in pain from feeling both punches as he began to descend back down to the ground.
"Okay, this is really bad!" Bumblebee stated worriedly before noticing Fowler flying next to him.
"Anytime, fella! Ground four's coming fast!" Fowler said in desperateness.
Bumblebee immediately jumped off Skyquake and landed on Fowler's jet as the aerial Decepticon continued to descend down with a trail of blazing smoke behind him, while Optimus and Jazz watched from their positions. Skyquake then crashed straight onto the ground and left a massive trail behind before coming to a halt.
"Happy landings, Con." Fowler said as Bumblebee jumped off his jet and landed on the ground, allowing the special agent to fly back to his command station.
When the Autobots regrouped, they walked up to the smouldering wreckage of Skyquake and saw that his red eyes had closed, showing that he was now offline.
"Had Skyquake chosen to stray from his master's path, we might not be burying him today." Optimus said.
What they didn't know was that Soundwave was watching from the top of the cliff.

After arriving back in the Autobot base, Bumblebee was in the medical chamber and being examined by Ratchet.
"Bumblebee, putting yourself at risk was perhaps not wisest of strategies. But, you performed admirably." Optimus said in a proud tone as Bumblebee exited the chamber.
"Taking down Skyquake was a pretty cool feat for you, Bee. You should feel proud." Jazz said kindly.
"Thanks, you guys." Bumblebee replied.
Just then, the four Autobots began hearing the others driving into base and looked to see them arriving. The Hexside Squad got out of their respective Guardians as Ratchet approached them.
"So, did the Energon cube you borrowed yield promising results?" Ratchet asked Luz.
"Needless to say, you were completely right, Ratchet." Luz replied with a smile. "I used one of my Glyphs near the Energon when we were all at our hangout house and it totally worked."
"We saw the whole thing, Ratch." Wheeljack said in agreement. "Energon really does help her Glyphs activate on Earth."
"I'm glad to hear that my expectations were correct. Perhaps your magic truly is worth studying." Ratchet said with a smile.
"I guess you could say that." Hunter replied.
"Vee even managed to absorb that cube when Luz was done testing." Willow added.
"I just got a little hungry, that's all." Vee replied sheepishly. "Plus, we were kinda out of Hexes Hold'em cards."
"It's nothing to worry about, Vee." Bulkhead assured.
"We're glad to here that things worked out well for you, kiddo." Jazz said.
"Thanks. So, what have you guys been up to?" Gus asked.
"Yeah, what did you find at that Energon signal?" Amity questioned in curiosity.
"That's what we'd like to know." Arcee added.
"It's… a bit of a long story." Bumblebee told them while rubbing the back of his head.
"Indeed. But we shall be glad to tell you it." Optimus said.

Onboard the Nemesis, Megatron's body was lying on a medical table in a small room and a bunch of cables were connected to him while Starscream, Soundwave, Thundercracker, Skywarp and Brawl stood in front of him.
"I still can't believe Lord Megatron survived that blast." Brawl admitted.
"I guess this means our master is able to survive anything that the Autobots throw at him." Thundercracker replied.
"Yeah. It really is a stoke of luck." Skywarp said, flashing a smirk towards Starscream as he knew his leadership of the Decepticons would be over when Megatron awakens.
"The troops will be pleased to hear about our success in rushing Lord Megatron into stasis. Let us hope our master pulls through." Starscream told them as he ignored Skywarp's remark, deeply agitated that his master was still alive.
However, he wasn't willing to give up being the Decepticons' leader so easily. He just needed to play his cards right.
