Ariadnê smirked as the people of Ilion walked into the throne room seeing her seated upon the throne.

Aléxandros stood at her side alongside his brothers Deiphobus and Polites and Antiphus fanning her and Helénē with giant leaves. Andromákhē and Laodice brushed through their hair while Ankhísēs and Priamos massaged their feet.

Hekábē alongside Kassandra and Helenos had been chained to sit at the side of Ariadnê. Helenos had more freedom than them, but he had almost successfully felled her when she attacked his parents and siblings. He also knew too much, being able to see some of the plans that she was creating.

Kassandra was only there simply for the dislike that Ariadnê held for her. How dare she be considered one of the greatest loves of Apóllōn when she spurned his affection? Not that her twin brother got off the hook either. She had made sure that Helenos knew just how fond she was of that affair. Kassandra could also see the things that she was planning, but who would believe the cursed girl over their mad conqueror.

And it had been incredibly hard to find magic draining chains for their mother. The queen did not go down without a fight.

She hummed as the courtiers in front of her gave her the reports for the day. There was still no word from Sparta for the return of Helénē nor was there any word from her family. Helenos had told her early on that the gods would interfere with that so she wasn't too surprised by that.

She wasn't even surprised by the fact that ships were reported to be on the way to the kingdom.

What she was surprised by was how beautiful Troïlos was as the prince walked into the room with his sister, Polyxena. She could see why the prince was regarded as a paragon of youthful male beauty. There was also the beauty shown with Tennes and Hemithea from Tenedos.

Helénē shifted on the seat beside her, and Ariadnê side-eyed her. The girl was frowning prettily, eyes shifting between Ariadnê and the princes and princesses.

The child of the sea could not help but to feel amused.

It had been to the surprise of absolutely no one that she had cracked and immediately started an affair with the child of the heavens. The pleasure she had gained from it had nearly made her dizzy especially when she caught sight of the envy that Aléxandros wore anytime he caught sight of the two afterwards.

It was his fault honestly. If he had really wanted either of them, he would have defeated her in battle.

And she highly doubted that he would have been able to show Helénē how to properly love a woman. The sounds that Ariadnê managed to pull out of the other girl could have brought even the gods to their knees.

But still— Ariadnê could be convinced to allow Troïlos into her bed. After all, she allowed Hektōr and Aineías to share her bed countless times. (It was for that reason that she made Andromákhē brush the other girl's hair. She was not going to hurt Ariadnê just because her husband liked to love her. Not that it mattered because Hektōr called her his wife's name one time too many for her to keep sleeping with him.)

"When you left, did you see anything," she asked him.

Polyxena and Hemithea shook her head, but Troïlos gave the answer that she was looking for. "There were reports of ships being seen in the distance. They were a day out when we left."

Ariadnê hummed, head tilting to the side. "Did you know that I met Helénē here when she was a young child?"

"You look to be the same age," Polyxena commented. Ariadnê gave a secret smile. "Theseus had once kidnapped her when she was younger. Theseus and Pirithous, thought that since they were sons of gods, they should have divine wives; they thus pledged to help each other abduct two daughters of Ζεύς. Theseus came for Helénē crossing into Castellan before he could take her to hide away with his mother. My brother beat him black and blue. He resembled Aléxandros and Hektōr greatly when my brother finished with him."

Ariadnê shook her head, taking the other kidnapped female's hand in hers. "Either way, we had already known that Helénē was going to be beautiful and well, look at her." She gave the other girl a look, taking amusement in how the other flushed prettily. "Her beauty is widely known. And when it was time for Helénē to marry, many kings and princes from around the world came to seek her hand, bringing rich gifts with them or sent emissaries to do so on their behalf. Her brothers, the Dioscuri, dealt with a lot of suitors, but the decision was left in the hands of her Father. King Tundáreos."

The new Queen turned back to the other members of the royal family. "Her beauty was a blessing and a curse as her Father was afraid to select a husband for his daughter, or send any of the suitors away, for fear of offending them and giving grounds for a quarrel. And on the word of Odysseús, the King had all the suitors swear a most solemn oath to defend the chosen husband against whoever should quarrel with him. After the suitors had sworn not to retaliate, Menelaus was chosen to be Helénē's husband. As a sign of the importance of the pact, Tundáreos sacrificed a horse."

Ariadnê sniffed disdainfully at that.

"Helénē and her Husband have ruled Sparta for the past ten years. They have a daughter named Hermione. And your half-brother, Aléxandros, here has kidnaped the Queen of Sparta. Vlakas. He who has gained Aphrodítē Philommeidês favor now courts war," she spat. Helénē brushed her thumb gently over her hand. "He dooms you all for a lovely woman linked by marriage to warrior spearmen."

She turned her attention back to Troïlos, eyes piercing. "The oracle at home once told us that there would be a time where Ilion meets Sparta in war. That they would have to retrieve a great warrior named Ahkilles whose skin was impenetrable. His strength would be unmatched, suited with armor made by the gods themselves. There are countless prophecies that surround Ilion. One being that Aléxandros' would be the end of the kingdom and it shall fall into a blaze of glory. 'Tis the only reason he is still alive of course as I am owed blood for his transgressions against me. I will have him and his parents witness the fall of their beloved kingdom just for letting this archeedee live to even cross my path."

She smiled a little sadly, "Another would be that Ahkilles, son of Pēleus, would attack the cattle of Aineías, killing Tennes, which would gain the wrath of his Father, Apóllōn, alongside slaughtering Troïlos in the sanctuary of Apóllōn Thymbraios. The fate of Ilion was sealed in Troïlos' blood so long as he lived then this kingdom would not fall. When word came of his murder, Ilion was renamed Troy in his memory. Those are the ships that you saw."[1]

The princes flinched back as Priamos and Hekábē cried out about the fate of their son. Aléxandros flinched knowing that it was partially his fault that this would happen, but staying resolute in his decision.

Ariadnê squeezed Helénē's hand tightly, "Another prophecy further back would be when Father and Apóllōn were banished to build the walls of Troy, they were aided by Aeacus, king of Aegina. When they had finished, three serpents tried to destroy the walls. The two attacking Father and Apóllōn's sections died instantly but one forced its way through Aeacus' part. Apóllōn prophesised Troy could only be breached by the Aeacidae; Aeacus' descendants."

Her head tilted slightly to the side, "That was not mention of King Priamos negotiations with Telamon for the return of his dear sister, Hesione whom Telamon steadfast refused to return. And thus after Aléxandros made his choice for the golden apple, he proved once again that he did not have a brain as King Priamos only approved his voyage to Sparta so that he may retrieve Hesione but instead, the idiot brought back Helénē and me. Priamos also proved to be an idiot as he was ultimately willing to accept the abduction of Helénē, due to the refusal of the return of Hesione."

Helénē stifled a laugh alongside Andromákhē and Laodice at her repeated insistence that the two were idiots. Ariadnê shrugged casually, "There is also the fact that Agamemnon wants to conquer desire for control of the Aegean. He will not get it of course as my Family would slay where he stood just as they did those that came from Ilion if he brought war to our doorsteps."

"Why did you save us," Tennes asked. "If you wish to see the kingdom in ruin for the actions of Aléxandros, why did you save us?"

Ariadnê hummed, shrugging: "Maybe it is because I wish to see the beloved kingdom of Laomedon fall after the ill-considered acts that he committed and brought him into conflict with the gods. Tis why Hesione was taken in the first place. I do not allow disrespect to the gods, especially not my Father. The walls around this kingdom are imbued by the power of the sea after all. Just as easily as Father and Apóllōn built these walls... I can tear them down. And now you will find there is a Greek lord with Trojan blood that will raise his sword against this kingdom. Mayhaps I wish to see the destruction that Αἴας the Great will cause."

She will kill him of course for what he had done to Kassandra in the first timeline, but she would let him reign destruction against Aléxandros and Priamos the most.

"Maybe because I was bored and I find it amusing. Maybe because I wanted to see how beautiful the two of you are that Ahkilles would attempt to steal away the both of you. Maybe because now that I have seen you, I want Troïlos in my bed. Maybe because I want to fight against Ahkilles myself. Wait, no. I do want to fight Ahkilles myself. There is no possibility about it."

Her smile turned dark and bloodthirsty, "It may be because I cannot wait to see the looks on their face when my brother denounces Castellan's neutrality to raze everyone old enough to fight to the ground before skinning Aléxandros like a snake and anointing him vinegar before castrating him after he had the audacity to bring his phallós near me and then take his eyes for daring to look at me as if I were nothing more than a trophy. My brother once stated that there is none who could see me for who I am for I am the light that most will never deserve."

Aléxandros dropped his fan as he whimpered in horror. Ariadnê didn't turn away as she smiled in amusement. "Please, get settled in. We shall see each other again for the evening feast," she told them. Hektōr and Aineías moved forward to escort the men away with Hektōr giving her a knowing glance as she left.

She bit back an amused smile. He and Aineías knew most of her plans after all. She will make sure that Aléxandros suffered greatly, but she would do her best to spare the kingdom. The other side had murdered innocent children simply because they were born of from Troy and its allies just because of the potential of revenge.

She will make sure that none could touch them again.

And it would do Castellan some good to extend their power.

Ariadnê waved her hand, dismissing everyone from the room until it was only her and Helénē left. The girl was quiet as she had listened to what Ariadnê had proclaimed. There was something pained in her eyes that Ariadnê was quick to banish as she leaned over to kiss her.

Helénē blinked before allowing Ariadnê to pull her in her lap. Ariadnê smirked to herself, trailing her hands under the girl's dress until one cupped her breasts and the other teased her private area. "You seem sad," Ariadnê muttered before she leaned in to kiss her. "Allow me to change that."

Her fingers sank into the other's warmth, summoning water around her hand to freeze in the shape of a penis. She pulled her fingers out to push the impromptu toy into her, finding delight in the way that the girl moaned immediately. Ariadnê snickered as she gently lowered her to the ground, moving to settle herself against the girl's face.

She allowed the almost kitten licks against her before pulling the toy away. Helénē whimpered at the loss, but Ariadnê paid her no mind as she leaned down for her own personal taste. With a few flicks of her tongue, Helénē was thrashing against the ground. Ariadnê smiled, holding her thighs to the ground as she continued on, creating another dildo to fuck her with. She could hear the other girl blabbering under her as she breathed Ariadnê in, trading the need of licking her to fucking her with a her tongue.

Ariadnê had better, but it was good enough to scratch at the need that she had.

She smiled as she felt Helénē tense before letting out a drawn out moan. She didn't do anything else though as she lapped at the other's release before sitting back, face covered in her slick. She moved from the girl's face to crouch better in between her legs. Helénē looked at her with hazy eyes and Ariadnê gave her a sharp smile.

That was her only warning before Ariadnê dived back in like a man starved. Helénē cried out immediately, hands coming to grip at Ariadnê's hair, confused between tugging her away or pulling her closer. Ariadnê laughed delightedly, sucking at her clit teasingly.

The second orgasm washed over without warning leaving Helénē almost boneless against the floor. Ariadnê stood slowly, wiping her face as the other breathed heavily on the floor. "See you later, princess," she purred, leaving for the bedrooms. She should go to the training grounds or take a nap before evening muster.

Ariadnê clutched tightly to Aineías as he fucked into her. The two of them were in the secluded training grounds for the royal family. They had been sparring under the weight of armor as they prepped for war.

And then she had the wonderful idea for every successful hit that marked a fatal blow, they would strip themselves.

They were naked in mere minutes. The princeling was beautiful; an unsurprising fact as everyone within the country seemed to be of uncontested beauty. And well, his mother was Aphrodítē.

The game had only been made better as Hektōr had placed Aléxandros on her guard duty for the evening. Now the idiotic male had to watch as she willingly made love to his cousin.

Oh, how the tables turn.

It wouldn't be long before he met his wife and then she'd have to deal with the scarce affairs in which he'd either call her his wife's name or ignore her suggestions of inviting his wife into the affair.

She was very much holding a grudge against Hektōr for that. Though not too much, he did really love his wife.

Aineías tapped a finger against her cheek, and she opened her eyes to look at him once more. They were a molten brown, gleaming like lava whenever the sun shined from over them. The prince gave her a small smile before kissing her, hips thrusting shallowly within her.

She understood why the ancient sculptures made the statues with small penises, but that did not mean that they grossly understated how well-endowed the figures actually were. That was something she had learned from Apóllōn and Hermês, but they were also gods so obviously the ancients didn't really know.

But Aineías?

If she didn't have plans to place him on the throne of Dardania instead of letting him run off to Rome, then she would take him as her husband. Beautiful, smart, a good warrior, and was a good lover?

Kreousa should really watch out.

He pulled back from the kiss to whisper in her ear, "Cum for me, my queen."

Ariadnê was not embarrassed by how quickly she reacted to that. Aineías smiled prettily as he could to thrust within her, chasing his own pleasure before painting her insides. He groaned as he kissed her again, holding her close in his embrace as they came down from their high.

She would need to immediately go to take one of the elixirs that they had for preventing pregnancy. One of Katie and Will's own concoctions that she recognized from the time that the latter had offered classes to the healers of all that came to see him.

He pulled away from her gently, cradling her in his arms as he used his discarded shirt to clean her up. She winced just a bit at the scratch marks that decorated his back, but she couldn't deny the smugness that she felt.

No one could deny that he was one of hers.

"You are," the prince started. "You are not as mysterious as you paint yourself out to be."

She was not expecting that answer. "Oh?"

Aineías tilted his head, eyes flickering to where Aléxandros was glaring death at him. He gave his little cousin a mocking smile before turning back to Ariadnê smiling in amusement. He shook his head, grabbing her clothes. "You operate under the belief that you can fix all your problems by either lying with them or slaying them where they stood alongside the few moments where you just like to spar for fun."

A blank mask appeared on her face even as she tilted her head to the side. "And you believe that you are one of my problems?"

"You never stated what my fate were to be," he admitted. "Kassandra had once claimed that she saw me finding a new nation in a faraway land. Before I would not believe her mutterings and even now I cast doubt upon them, but if fate is what you have claimed then that means there is some truth to her words. Am I to leave my home behind?"

"Would you?"

"If it were to save my people, then yes," he swore. "But to cowardly abandon them just to save myself then no. I could never."

Ariadnê leaned forward, giving him another kiss. His tongue met hers for a beautiful dance of dominance. His hands gripped at her waist, pulling her into his lap where she could feel his manhood pressing against her. She pulled away slowly, licking at the salvia that connected them to stare in his eyes. "Pleasure and pain are one in the same. I have many problems, Aineías, but you are not one."

She stood to her feet, pulling him up with her. "Come. We must get cleaned before dinner."

Ariadnê walked aimlessly around the palace.

She ignored the guards that followed after her since she ordered Aléxandros to help Hektōr take stock of their weaponry. War was coming.

She sighed inwardly as she looked around her new palace. The silver and blue colors of the kingdom blended together prettily, but she had a few dashes of green added into the mix. Nothing too overwhelming, but a supporting color that seemed to brighten the blues.

Ariadnê tried to imagine her Father and Apollôn within the palace, weakened and so utterly human as their godly essence clawed at their seams. She couldn't do so as the power of the sea roared within her.

Still as she stood upon one of the balconies, taking in the expressions of the people below her. She felt as if she were twelve (for the third time again) standing in a world that she could never fit in.

(Too godly to be human but too human to be a god.)

She startled when a voice sounded in her ear, "Drachma for your thoughts?" Spinning around, Ariadnê came face to face with Hermês. Her heart beat painfully in her chest to see him after the weeks of silence as she did a complete takeover and rehaul of the kingdom. He cupped her jaw, using his thumb to press her mouth closed. "No one can see or hear us."

"You have been missed," she told him truthfully. The god smiled, pulling his thumb away to brush her cheek. "As have you, agapi mu." She allowed a shy smile to appear on her face. "The others have been regaling all that would listen to stories of your antics over the years. Of course, only after editing them to fit this timeline."

Ariadnê hummed, leaning into his embrace.

"Pig wrestling with Árēs' boars," Hermês smirked. "How brave."

Her lips quirked despite herself. Paul had almost tripped over his feet the first time he saw her after that. Her clothes had been ripped to shreds, there was mud and sticks in her hair, and bruises appeared on her skin like cheetah prints. She had never looked more alive. She was sure there was a picture of it somewhere in one of her scrapbooks.

"They told me more about the future-past also. You are one brave demi divine," he told her as he held her tightly in his embrace. "Immortality would not have been a worthy gift for someone as lovely as you."

Ariadnê blinked before flushing. She had never been good at handling compliments, especially none that came from him and Apollôn.

"You are impressive, latria mu. Look at you now, changing the fate of Troy so."

She gave him a smile. "Tis quite impressive. The foresight that I have is the only way that I am to counterattack against the Theoi, but I doubt it shall last long."

Hermês nodded his head. "The fate of Troy mayhaps be different than what was originally planned. Father and Themis have kept mum on what they shall do. Troy may not be completely annihilated as it once were." He kissed her softly on the forehead. "You godlings have come and hm... how do you say it? Ah ναί, you godlings have come and kept us gods on our toes. We will not be as relaxed as we once were in the future-past."

"Hmm. That is good." she stated as she buried her face into his chest. His mere presence was enough to wash away the tension that she was feeling. The only thing that would make it better if the Apollo of the future-past was there. "Will you tell me what is it that you and Apóllōn meant when you two claimed that I do not belong?"

His arms tightened around her before relaxing. "I wish I knew, Little Pearl, I wish I knew. There are things that are kept secret even from us gods. It mayhaps have something to do with the future to come or a general state of you all not belonging in this time period."

"And the weird words in the wind?"

"None of the Anemoi nor the Harpyiai had a hand in it. And though I doubted the words that Zéphyros spewed, his story never changed in the midst of his pleas for mercy, not even when Apóllōn joined to carve out the truth."

She had a feeling that he meant that last part literally.

He pulled back so that she may see his face, brushing the hair from her own. He pulled on the shorter strands of her hair. "It matters not, Ariadnê. You belong here, there, and everywhere. It matters not where or when you go."

"How can you know that?"

He tilted her face to his, making sure to look her in the eyes. "Because you are mine. My friend. My lover. Even the constraints of time cannot change that you are mine." He kissed her deeply, picking her up in his arms. He sat her on the balcony railing, covering them deeply from sight. She allowed herself to fall apart in his arms, safe in the knowledge that as long as he was there, nothing could harm her.

"You belong to me," he swore, pulling away to lick alongside her neck. "I love you very dearly so if you may not belong, then never doubt that I will make it so that you do."

He pulled at the dress that she had changed into, slipping it off and leaving her body bare to him. His eyes glowed with the power of divinity as he looked at her and through her and around her all at once. He had always seen a side of her that none other Apóllōn could see and not even his brother had the chance to see everything. "It is not surprising to learn of those that had fallen for you, asteri mu. You shine so brightly after all. You draw people into your orbit like the Moon to the Tides."

His fingers on his left hand trailed sensually against her bare thighs, body awakening under his touch as he continued to gaze at her. His other hand trailed against her cheek, once more pressing his thumb against her mouth. "Apóllōn... Connor... Deimos... Hêbê... who knows who else. From what I've seen even Helénē has been ensnared in your grasp... It makes me wonder if the future version of myself was in love with you too."

She breathed deeply through her nose, tongue darting out to lick at his thumb. "You have always been my greatest what if. There is not enough room in the night sky to encompass my love for you." Everything would have been easier during this time if he were the one that she loved.

"I could pursue you," he told her plainly. "None would object, not even your Father. I could make you my wife as the world already knows you as my consort. I could make you fall in love with me."

He could, and she knew it too. It wouldn't take much. It wasn't like Apóllōn wanted her either. There was nothing really holding her back.

"The age of the half-divine is coming to an end. There will be no need for any more demidivine children. Our love would be all that I need to be faithful. You are of royal blood also, latria mu. I could treat you as the queen that you were born to be." He looked around the kingdom that she had conquered and gave a small smile. "I could treat you as the queen that you are. I pledged to you before that I could treat you like a queen and show you how life's supposed to be."

Ariadnê shuddered at his words. "Hermês..."

"I could uplift mountains and drown you with my divinity until I am the only thing you could think about. I would sing from the heavens until the whole world knows you to be off limits. Fill you up with my love until it drips out of you."

He moved his hand from where it teased at her thigh to press pointedly on her stomach. He moved his hand from her face to kiss her softly once more, "I could love you until the day the sea swallowed the sun."

Ariadnê cried out, feeling arousal wash over her. She blinked in shock, unable to believe that she had come from words alone.

Hermês chuckled, a deep sound that pierced the fog of her mind. "What do you say, Starfish? Should we take this chance or should I step to the side as the love between you and my brother eclipses the love that you could feel for anyone else?"

He didn't even give her time to answer, raising her from above the rail to dive in between her legs. She squealed as his tongue pressed against her clit. It was leagues better than what any of her lovers could do in the kingdom. It made her mind hazy. Why did she lower herself to sleeping with mere mortals when she had lain with gods?

He set her down her feet to look at her once more. His hand cupped her womanhood, fingers sinking into her easily. "You are already so gone for me," he whispered. She shuddered as he slowly twisted his fingers within her. She jolted forward as his other hand came down firmly on her cheeks. "No other shall touch you again. None are worthy of you, Little Pearl." His fingers pinched her clit pointedly, and she bit back a whimper. "You are mine. Every inch of you belongs to me. I am your god," he declared, the greens of his eyes shining brighter than she had ever known. His curls cradled his face gently as his cupid's brow glistened with her slick.

Why couldn't she have fallen for him instead?

"You're my best friend, Hermês," she told him, breaking off into a moan as he sped up his fingers. "I can give you everything that I have to offer and more. There is no other like you."

Was she really about to make this choice?

"Oh," he muttered, spinning her around to face the kingdom. He pressed himself to her back and she could feel his arousal pressing at her. "I can fill you to the brim with my seed and demand your hand in marriage. I can make you forget loving anyone else including my brother. I could do it all, Ariadnê."

She bit at her lips, gaze piercing at the kingdom below her. "Do it."

His fingers slipped out of her as his eyes widened in shock before darkening considerably.

In between one blink and the next, he pressed himself within her deeply.

She keened loudly at the stretch, unable to fill the pleasure that came from it since she had been kidnapped. It was a familiar feeling, yet unique every time.

"You take me so well," he whispered reverently. His eyes locked onto where they were connected. "Not even time could separate us. Never again. You are mine. Always."

The last word was punctuated by a very intense thrust that she was sure that even the gods above could have heard her screams of pleasure.

Hermês pressed a kiss into her neck.

"Quiet down, Starfish. You don't want everyone to hear you," he mocked as he increased the speed of his thrust. She was bent almost completely over the railing as she took everything that he gave her.

His name dripped from her tongue almost breathlessly, eyes hazy with want.

Spinning her around, his smile turned wicked as he laid her flat against the ground. "You are mine, Ariadnê."

With a snap of his fingers, ropes of pearls and seaweed wrapped around her wrist, chaining her to the floor. "Much better, asteri mu. Now, be as loud as you like. Let it all out."

The last time he told her that; the orgasm that he pulled her had shaken her to her core. She had to suffer hours of Aphrodite and Ares' amused cackles while Apollo lectured her on safe sex with powers.

There had been a powerpoint.

"Ermís," she moaned. His hands gripped her waist tightly as a shudder ran through him. He had never heard her say his name like that before. She sounded truly hellenes.

"Again," he demanded. "Say it again." He thrust up into her again. His strokes gained momentum as she squirmed above him.

"Ermís," she groaned again and louder. "Please. Please. Let me cum."

"How are you feeling, Princess?"

How was she feeling?

She didn't know what to say.

Ariadnê kissed him.

The two felt a shock move through them as their lips connected.

"Hello, little cousin."

"Oh, sweet, baby Jesus. I have an old guy kink."

"Excuse you! I am only 17 millennia years old."

"I'm not sure what's more concerning. The millennia part or the fact that you are technically an underage god with enough children to fill up half the country."

"Wow. You really do have no filter."

Hermes showed her around the room of his temple, eyeing her worriedly at the pain in her eyes. "You can stay here for the night, and I can take you to the camp overmorrow."

The girl wrapped her arms around herself. She looked so painfully small. "Thank you for this, mi'lord. You didn't have to do this."

Hermes shrugged casually, "It is not much." He waved away her words. "And I have had my fair share of arguments with Father. Some have even been about not being good enough."

Her brow furrowed into a familiar expression of offense and stubbornness. She never liked any mention where he was not good enough. "You are more than enough," she swore. Her eyes flashed with a promise to beat anyone that said otherwise into the ground.

"And yet, I will never be what Apóllōn is to our Father."

"You should not want to be him," she argued. Hermes smiled to himself. She prided herself on being hard to manipulate, but it was always easy for him to get her to do what he wanted. Though that may have something to do with their constant companionship. "You have your own strengths that make you who you are. Uncle loves you for being yourself. Apollo loves you for being yourself."

Hermes smiled at her gently brushing her hair out of her face, "You should take your own advice. I'm sure your mother loves you for who you are. Not because she sees you as an extension of Percy."

She grumbled as she remembered that she was irritated about that, "Well, she sure doesn't act like it. Whenever I'm around her, she makes me feel like a burden. She doesn't even listen to what I have to say unless it's to tell me to be more careful on quests because Percy can get hurt as if the prophecy is not connected to both of us."

"I am sorry there is not much more that I can do," he told her as he pulled her into a hug.

She clutched to him tightly, "This is all that I need."

Hermês' essence was split in multiple places as each of his domains called upon him, and yet, for the most part, he stayed there in the moment.

Ariadnê stood behind him, her form showing in the mirror before them. She was drowning in one of his emerald green dress shirts that he wore in his mortal form.

It was opened, showing off the various love bites that littered her skin and the smoothness of her long, tanned legs. Her hair flowed around her like a curtain, cradling her face gently. The familiar lyre-shaped scar was engraved delicately on her chest, cradled by the soft yet firm mounds of her breasts. He could still remember the feel of them in his hands as he squeezed the softly, drawing pretty moans from her as his tongue swirled across her areolae, teasingly pulling at her nipples with his teeth. He had wanted to break the headstrong girl, and he took viscous pleasure in being the one to make her come apart.

He could replay the moment she came around him over and over and over —

Ariadnê wrapped her arms around him, drawing a small laugh from him as she hid her face within his curls. It was strange to see the usually headstrong girl so shy.

"Are you alright, Starfish?" He caught the wince that she gave as he moved her to sit in his lap. He stifled a groan at feeling her heat settle on him again . It took more effort than he thought to withhold himself from ravaging her once more. "Do you need a salt bath?"

Her lips quivered into a soft and amused smile, "I'm fine, Hermês. And besides, the saltwater wouldn't be able to fix everything. Not even a hymen."

He smiled back at her, pressing a kiss to her cheek as she leaned her head against his shoulder. He snapped his fingers conjuring some mortal food for her to eat alongside a tub of salt for her to put in the water. She turned, sitting up with another wince to look at the options before her.

And he gave her a smile as he pushed into her once more.

Hermês watched over Ariadnê carefully as she trained with a replica of his caduceus. He leaned against a nearby tree, shades covering his eyes as she struggled. The few dryads that lived in the clearing gave him appreciative look overs.

He pretended he didn't see them as he called out advice, "You're going to overbalance yourself if you do not spread your legs more."

"I spread my legs any further and I'll be doing a split in this dress," she grumbled.

"It would not be the first time," The god snickered even as arousal flooded his senses.

The last time she had done a split was that morn as he fucked into her.

Ariadnê spun around at the sound of her name being called by a familiar voice.

Hermes stood casually in the middle of her school's hallway with Apollo at his side. The two were attracting attention as teachers and students alike eyed them appreciatively.

She swallowed down the flash of irritation that she felt at the way Jazz Towers and Ariel Tremaine smiled charmingly at he and Apollo. She slammed her locker shut, facing them completely.

"What are you doing," she asked, not minding the way the students turned to her as the ellinika tumbled from her mouth. "This is an all girls' academia."

Apollo scoffed, rolling her eyes at her tone. Hermes smiled, amused at the two of them before looking back at the demi divine. She looked adorable in her school uniform, like a bratz doll.

Hermes shrugged, stepping forward to grab her bag as Apollo grabbed her notebook. The elder god flipped through it, scoffing irritably at the things within. The American school system left a lot to be desired.

"It was either I came or Aphrodítē, and you know how she gets about those that gain her favor."

Ariadnê grimaced. The goddess had been the one to show her what happened to Drew's father and stepmother after Drew admitted to what they were doing. Ariadnê learned to never doubt that goddess' title as a war goddess ever again. She knew that if Aphrodite heard the insults that Jazz and Ariel's little clique like to say then she would make sure that they could say anything ever again.

"We should leave now," Apollo commented, seemingly not noticing the way the people around him swoon at his voice. She did, however, and the promise of death lingered in her eyes to all that were unfortunate enough to be pierced under her gaze. "Artemis wishes to get this trip out of the way sooner than later."

Hermes extended his arm out to her. "I still haven't packed anything," she protested as she allowed herself to be pulled into his embrace.

The herald waved away her words, "Do not worry, gliko mou. We'll cover everything."

"Hey, Hermês."

"Hm?"

"I lo–

"—ve you," she breathed against his lips. He pulled away from her, hips thrusting into her slowly yet powerful. They were panting heavily, the divinity within them both singing in their blood.

He brushed her bangs from her face, pecking her lips once more. "And I too am filled with love for thee, zoi mou, that not even my sister, Aphrodítē, could spurn from me."

"If I had only months to live, I would spend it with you as every moment feels like eternity."

"If that is the future in what is to come, kukla mu, then I would drain every elysian well for you, psichí mou, because if eternity is what you desire, eternity is what you shall have."

And they sealed their words with a kiss.

Dinner had been interesting.

She and Laodice had been able to style her shortened hair into something that resembled her dual buns from so long ago. Beautiful chains of bronze were woven between the strands alongside gleaming jewels of diamonds and pearls placed on her person that accented her breasts.

And her bracelet was secured firmly on her wrist.

Ariadnê sat calmly at the head of the table. Those that were in her favor sat on her right while those who held her wrath sat on her left. She took a delicate bite out of the bread in front of her, dabbing at her mouth to rid herself of crumbs.

"I do not understand why I am being punished so dearly," Aléxandros exclaimed. His eyes glared daggers at the chosen three that she had claimed as lovers on the other side of the table. Ariadnê ignored him as she took a sip of the wine in front of her.

As much as she hated the circumstances of Lord Zagreus' death, she was not complaining about Dionysos' creation of wine.

"I did what the gods asked of me," he stated even as Kassandra placed a calming hand on his wrist. He snatched away. "And now you behave like a common pórni̱ and lie with my brother and cousin. I was rewarded you to be my wife! Only a fool would not have accepted the pleasure of taking you as what was their due."

She placed her utensils down slowly, eyes turning to look at the disgraced prince. "And yet a fool that you are," she said. If she were a lesser person, she'd have him tied to his seat while he watched her make love to said brother and cousin. But she was not that big of a fan of exhibitionism. "You seem to operate under the belief that I am a prize to be won when you are nothing. A disgraced prince that had been exiled from his land and only returned because of favor granted to you by the King, Paris. Do you know another reason as to why this war is happening?"

She leaned close that he could not ignore her words. "This war has been prophesized for years. It is a chance by the gods to rid the world of the half-divine children that walk this earth. Tis you who have given way to the perfect excuse for your cousins to die. If I were not deathless, even I would not be spared. You are a fool, Paris. Your wife, Oinōnē, has been drowning in her rage and will soon send your son, Korythus, against you in revenge." She turned back to her food once more. "I do not care about what you have done for the gods. You made a slight against me, and I shall see that you pay dearly for it."

"Tis not how the world works, woman."

Her smile was filled with the promise of pain. "You will soon learn that the world works how I will it."

"Ai gameesu!"

"You tried and I cut your penis off. Now you shall never touch another." Ariadnê laughed aloud. He flushed in anger, standing to his feet in anger. He clearly wanted to launch across the table at her, and she smiled pleasantly.

"You are mine," he snarled.

Her smile dropped off her face as she mimicked his expression, "I am the sea and nobody owns me!"

Well except Hermês.

He lunged towards her before being intercepted by an arc of electricity right as Hektōr and Aineías crossed the table to yank him away.

"Why are you restraining me," he yelled, as she traced the electricity back to the other side of the table. "Tis the monster that parades as Queen that you should be getting rid of."

Ariadnê rolled her eyes as if they were not still the heirs of their respective thrones. "You can call me a monster all you want, but it is not I that brings war to their doors."

"Watch your tongue, Aléxandros," Helénē chided. "Lest we have it removed from a waggle too much."

Aléxandros gaped at her. "Helénē, be reasonable. Even if you would be foolish to denounce our love, why would you choose such a sapphic route with this woman?"

"Reasonable," Helénē mocked, eyes glinting with power. "I would have chosen death rather to have come here with you, far from my bridal chamber, my friends, my darling daughter, and all the companions of my girlhood. But it was not to be, and my lot is one of tears and sorrow."

A vengeful frown marred her beautiful face. "You think I do not know what the people say of me now that the call for war has sounded throughout the kingdom. You think I do not know their spiteful words. 'Ah, no wonder the men of Troy and Argives under arms will suffer years of agony all for her, for such a woman... But still, ravishing as she is, let her go home in the long ships... for us and our children down the years an irresistible sorrow.'"

She stood to her feet, eyes sparkling with untapped power. Ariadnê raised a brow. She wondered if she would be able to help the girl reach her full potential. It would do her well to be able to get her own revenge against those that stole her away from her family.

"You used to brag that you were a better man with hands and spear than Menelaus, and yet Ariadnê cut you down so effortlessly. You will not last a battle against my husband, but if you are foolish enough to meet him in single combat, you will soon fall by his spear. It is as I will it."

Ariadnê smiled excitedly as she swirled her wine around in its glass. She swore a curse against the man-child. She was so proud.

Their attention was gained by the courtier rushing into the room. He bowed before them, eyes gazing at the floor. "My ladyship, the war boats have arrived at Tenedos."

Ariadnê hummed absently, "I see." Taking a sip of her wine, she turned her gaze out onto the kingdom. "Please. Prepare my swords."

[1] It's actually not the reason why. Ilion and Troy were interchangeable depending on what you read, but I found it neat when I was drafted this chapter so I kept it.
