As a Magus Shirou was so used to the strange dealing of magic and the supernatural that it hardly ever phased him, but being summoned suddenly and in a crude manner was a bit of a shock even for him.

One moment after finishing a mission and getting ready to leave, walking down the streets of a somewhat barren desert town when his nose twitched with the scent of magic. and in an instant a bounded field was deployed and in front of him was a luminous green oval shaped object. It was large and wide enough to fit a person and the bounded field that warded people away and ignored the phenomenon near them. But then again it wasn't unusual for one to have such properties, what was unusual is its sudden appearance in a public setting.

No Magus worth their craft will so willingly expose the existence of magic as doing so will make enemies with The Mages Association and be hunted down and eliminated to preserve the declining mana and mysteries of the world.

As the street now became barren Shirou was more than ready and alert for anything in a moment's notice to react and project his go to short swords Kansho and Bakuya as it no surprise for someone to try and kill the second magus killer.

"...Hmm"

Shirou couldn't help but hum in thought, Was the magus hiding and assessing him but with no one around and with reinforce hearing and sight he could conclude that there was no one nearby. Originally, he thought the oval was some sort of an attack but in the first second of nothing happening with no signs of anything he thought this sudden large congregation of magic to be a distraction yet still no signs of anything happening he relaxed a little only because this wasn't any sort of attack and did no harm to the people of the town. Which begs the question 'what the hell is this thing in front of me.'

Cautiously he went up to the oval to examine it. It had a similar smell and magical feel of the second magic not unlike Zelretch's jeweled sword of the second magic and displacement magecraft yet also different, lightly touching it and using structural gasp on the object, when he heard a voice doing so. It was girlish and young almost to the point of being childish. It held a hopeful and uncertain confidence in its conviction as if praying for a miracle.

"My slave, who lives somewhere in the universe!"

"Oh sacred, beautiful and strong familiar spirit!"

"Here I desire and plead from my heart!"

"Answer to my guidance!" almost in resonation the oval engulfed Shirou in an instant before he could get away.

"AHHHHHHH." Shirou screamed out in shock as he found himself free falling hundreds of feet in the air at an unnaturally accelerated rate towards the ground. As he saw a large castle or facility of some kind in the middle of a clearing as his destination. He began to weigh his options quickly.

Option one to use his bow to fire a broken phantasm to create a blast to slow and or neutralize his acceleration, Option two to aim for something to slow or break his fall, Option three reinforce himself and hope for the best. Option two was out of the question as there was nothing to slow him down or break his fall except for the bricked building and towers nor was he able to change his trajectory, Option one was sounding like the best option in his situation. But with reinforced sight he could see people nearby which would cause casualties and collateral damages to both those he could see and those he couldn't. Which only left him with option three.

Yep, his luck was shit, the best option was to reorient himself to make sure to minimize as much damage around him as possible and to reinforce his body at the right moment. But as the acceleration reached its zenith his descent suddenly began to slow down to a bearable and survivable degree when he landed. Shirou got in position to relieve the stress and distribute the force when he hit the ground.

"I am the bone of my sword." Shirou muttered the beginnings of his aria of his soul to strengthen the reinforcement magic as his magic circuits flared to life to mediate the damage done on his body.

BOOM!

As Shirou cratered into the ground, Dust and dirt were kicked up all around him and others in his landing. Shirou got up to better assess what's around him and the situation.

Around him seemed to be a bunch of teens wearing white long-sleeved blouses underneath long black cloaks that reached their ankles, some having spherical bronze clasp with a pentagram engraved into it while others had it as pendants. The girls wore black skirts while the boys wore pants of different colors, one of which was a long curly pink haired girl that reached her back with matching pink colored eyes. She was about 5 feet tall in front of him wearing a face of annoyance.

After coughing from the dust, the students of the Tristain Magic Academy looked towards Louse to see if she failed at summoning anything or to see how pathetic her familiar. What shock them in bewilderment was the brief fading light of cyan and arcs of lightning, Leaving the heat generated by Shirou's circuits around him.

What they saw was a tall tanned skinned red haired young man with golden bronze-colored eyes. Wearing a tight black sleeveless body armor with silver accents outlining his muscles being overlaid by a tan jacket which are, along with black pants with two black straps on each thigh and two more on each shin which are separate from one another. His shoes are black metal plated and appear to be connected to his trousers all under a shin-length red cloak.

"A-A plebeian?" one of the students called out.

With his attire, it made him look like a wandering vagabond of some kind and with no noble airs only showed this fact as he adjusted his backpack.

"Tell me what plebeian you are." Louise's voice barely came out above a whisper.

"I ask you, are you, my master?" was the only thing he could say to the Pinkett in front of him, he could tell by the tone of the voice that she was the one who called him forth.

He couldn't understand the language without having something like a Holy Grail that would give the servant information of the world's history and language before being fully summoned, in which case said information would be supplied by the master instead. But in Shirou's case he as an incomplete summon wasn't given this current world's knowledge.

"?!"

As he looked more carefully, he could see Magical and Phantasmal Beasts as well as normal animals in the mix. But what truly caught Shirou by surprise was the dragon next to a short spectacled blue haired girl with light blue eyes holding an open book in one hand and a staff in the other, her name Tabitha as she too was staring at him, eyes wide in muted shock.

The silence was truly broken when a golden brown eyed, long red haired, well endowed, and tanned skinned girl named Kirche began to giggle. She was just over five and a half feet tall and wore an academy uniform with a golden ring on the neck and long golden boots.

"This makes all you said worth it! I never thought you'd summon a plebian, and a good looking one at that too." Kirche licked her lips and was eying Shirou up and down like a predator that found its next meal.

Shirou felt a shiver traveled down his spine.

"I-It was just a little screw up!" Louise retorted to Kirche's barb.

"That's the Louise the Zero that we know. You never fail to meet our expectations." said Malicorne de Grandple, a chubby student with an owl that he named Cubasil resting on his right arm. Yet he and the other boy can't help but feel a little inferior and threatened by Shirou as some of the girls were starting to blush.

As the students began laughing. Again, they were making of her again, Louise felt like crying but was too angry to do so nor would she let them see her in such a state as the third daughter of the Vallière, a noble family.

He wasn't a griffin, dragon, or a manticore to save face; there was only way for her to do so.

"Mr. Colbert, please allow me to summon again?" Shirou might not be bad in looks but he was still plebian.

As Shirou turned his gaze towards Colbert as the girl who summoned him was now talking to.

Colbert was a balding headed man with glasses in his mid to late forties, he wore purple garbs and had a satchel slung across his left shoulder and a staff in his right hand.

With a shake of his head Colbert responded. "I can't let you do that; this is a sacred ceremony that determines a mage's life. Redoing it would be a desecration of the ceremony itself, regardless of whether you like it or not, he has been decided as your familiar spirit."

"But I've never heard of taking a plebian as a familiar spirit."

"Whether it's a plebian or not, there will be no exceptions Ms. Vallière. Please continue with the ceremony. Otherwise, you'll really be expelled."

The crowd of students roared with laughter. It was humiliating but she didn't want to get expelled. All she wanted is to be praised and not to be looked down upon to prove her worth. She knows she can't drag this out any longer and now just wants to get this over with so she could be left alone.

Shirou couldn't make out a word, he tried talking but he couldn't understand them and by the reaction of the Pinkett it was also vice versa.

Shirou began contemplating on what to do as Pinkett started walking towards him.

He could have left at any time but in honor of 'her' his Saber he couldn't leave when he figured out that this was a summoning ritual of some kind by the animals, Magical, and Phantasmal Beasts. He didn't know the context of the situation, but he knew that Saber wouldn't just leave and abandon the one that summoned her, and neither would he not without knowing why and what for he was summoned and to determine whether or not she is deemed worthy.

"You'd better be thankful you would never get this from an aristocrat, my name Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière." Louise blushed, as she said while twirling a circle with her wand before she urged Shirou to lower himself. Seeing no Harm, he complied as he thought she wanted to cast a translation spell he had seen such magic when he was at The Clock Tower. "Pentagon that governs the five powers' give your blessing and make it my familiar."

Before Shirou knew it Louise kissed him for no apparent reason Shirou jolted back in shock and whipped his lips. Shirou imagined what Artoria would do if she found out that a hussy was trying to steal her man. Louise looked both embarrassed and offended by Shirou's actions before she Hmphed and turned her back towards him. Just then Professor Colbert came up.

"It looks like the servant contract finished without any problems."

"That Was Part of the Servant Contract?!" Shirou was still reeling from Louise's actions then again it wasn't that crazy as he performed Réalta Nua on Saber with the help of Rin to give her mana. He was basing everything he experienced and was taught, in The Fifth Holy Grail War and The Clock Tower. As Contracts are made from an agreement, this is shown by- wait did he just understand them.

It was then Shirou notice the growing and ache and the burning and stinging in his left hand and forming something, ᚷᚢᚾᛞᛟᛚᚠ It was magical runes which he knows as runecraft in his world. "Gandálfr" as he spoke those words lowly Professor Colbert was the one most surprised by those words as the students had no idea the weight of them. As Shirou was about to say something else his mind was assaulted by the flood of information and quickly passed out and his body thudded on to the ground.

Louise couldn't believe it, a commoner, a plebian as a familiar, she didn't know what was worst, summoning nothing or this. It was humiliating but she could take solace in the fact he was good looking which made the situation somewhat bearable. But still completely unheard of, not in the history of the Academy thousands of years where something like this has happened, oh by the founder she was unlucky. All she could do now was what till the familiar woke up.

When Shirou woke up on a bed of straw, the same straw used for livestock, it was more comfortable than sleeping on the hard or sandy floors he was used to on his travels. He could tell it was late by the lack of light and a lit candles give the only source of it.

As Shirou got up, he was greeted by a stone-faced Louise staring at him, it was jugging and displeased to the point that it radiated a cold indifference.

"Good you're awake, I had to go through a lot of trouble just to get you up here to my room." Louise sighed before continuing. "Well, I already accepted the fact that you are now my familiar you'd better feel honored."

"So, I'd take it that you are my master?"

"Yes, didn't you hear me the first time, well at least you'd know what kind of position you're in."

Shirou's eye twitched at the commit before he continued, "In that case, my sword shall be your sword, your fate shall be your fate. The pact has been sealed and I your servant. May I ask for your name, my master?"

"L-Louise, Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière." She was utterly taken aback by the bearing he now showed, this was no simple plebeian, was he a former attendant of a noble household. Or was he just fired, even if it was the latter, the coffers, standing, and influence of the Vallière should straighten everything out with ease. It was another silver-lining in this unfortunate arrangement.

Shirou took note of the living quarters, next to him was a giant king-sized bed in an old Victorian style. Now that he took a better look everything was in an old Victorian way, from dressers to drawers, from nightstands to desks. And from her name he could infer that she was French or was related in some way.

Louise coughed in her hand to compose herself. "And yes, I am your master and you my familiar, and you may call me master or Louise." She said, puffing out her chest in confidence as her mood began to brighten. "Now tell me your name familiar."

"Shirou, Shirou Emiya and well actually the proper term for me would be a servant."

"I Don't Care! I only asked for your name, besides what's the difference anyway?" As soon as she thought things were going her way a bit, he just had to back talk, as her mood began to darken, she began to strip in nothing but her underwear. "Shirou Emiya, what a strange name."

Shirou was about to reply when he quickly turned his gaze away from Louise, his cheeks were starting to redden in embarrassment, as she perceived him as more of one of her attendances from home rather than a stranger she just met or that of someone of equal footing. "Umm…What are you-"

"Here" before Shirou could finish his sentence Louise threw her dirty clothes at him. "Wash those for me." When Shirou turned back to Louise, he saw her dressed in a white nightgown.

"I think you're taking the 'servant' part a little bit too literally. Besides, I have some questions before anything."

"Where am I?"

"Why did you summon me?"

"And for what purpose?"

"Hold on one question at a time, You're in the kingdom of Tristain on the continent of Halkeginia first of all."

"Tristan…huh?" Shirou began to ponder. He knew of Tristan of The Knights of the Round but no kingdom. It was as he thought he was in another dimension, from the information he received from the pact he'd only been able to keep a small percentage. Just like a certain variant of him that lost his arm and was given an artificial phantasm.

"I told you where you are now, tell me where you're from, before I continue."

"Fair enough, I'm from Earth, specifically Fuyuki, Japan."

"Earth? Fuyuki? Japan? I never heard of them."

"Yes, well I'm not surprised you never heard of it, after all it seems I'm from another world."

"Don't be ridiculous, you'd expect me to believe that, how could there be another world?"

With a sigh Shirou replied "It's true, whether or not you believe me is up to you. Now please continue why did you summon me and for what reason."

With a humph Louise continued "I didn't mean to summon 'YOU!' I 'WAS' trying to summon a griffin or a dragon."

Shirou couldn't help but cock an eyebrow before laughing.

"What's so funny?" Louise said Irritably.

"Sorry, it's just that, were you planning to have a high class phantasmal and the pinnacle of phantasmal living in your room." He couldn't help it but to tease her at that moment. Louise looked just like a flustered Rin or Illya. It was a bad habit to tease them. It was something that he developed after spending time with them as their expressions were cute.

"N-N-No, The A-Academy has accommodations for such familiars. Yours was improvised on short notes O-Ok! And what do you mean by phantasmals?, you stupid dog."

'Dog' did she think of him as a dog or whether she said that to insult him and as well as reiterating her position of 'master' in this relationship, for this Shirou did not know but still found it amusing.

Shirou coughed to quell his laughter so he could once again speak. "Never mind the phantasmal part for now, for what reason was I summoned?" Shirou didn't want to get into the complicated explanation of Magical, Phantasmal, and Divine Beast species and their ranks, as it would probably just go over her head anyways and as well as not believe in a word he'd say.

"To be my spirit familiar, to sever my will, wishes, and desires, which would be mostly house cleaning, laundry, running errands, etcetera. As it is a sacred rite for any second-year mage, as that partner is their partner for life."

"I see, well that answers my questions for the time being. As long as things aren't too unreasonable, cross any personal lines or ideals I will try to accommodate your wishes as best as possible for the time being. Now if you'll excuse me, I believe you wanted some clothes clean, we can continue another time."

"Alright good, then be back here as soon as possible." Louise said in a huff. 'Besides the little backtalk he was able to follow orders at least. she thought to herself in her musings.

Shirou took his leave to wash Louise's clothes as this will also give an opportunity to familiarize himself with his new surroundings. As he walked through the painted clay walls and the cobblestone floor of the halls that echoed each of his footsteps, the smell of burning wax as candles decorated the walls and a hint of perfume that was noticeable to him as he made his way; he concluded that this was the girls dormitory or section of the area of the Academy which made him both uncomfortable and awkward to say the least. He went down the cobblestone spire.

When he was making his way, he spotted a familiar looking flamboyant blond-haired boy with blue eyes wearing purple pants and a white ruffled-collar blouse underneath a black, long cloak where his collar rests on and his chest is shown, then held in his right hand was a decorative fake rose his name was Guiche

Shirou had seen him before when he was summoned, he gave off the same air as Merlin, A womanizer.

Tho Shirou had never met Merlin personally, had seen him in Artorias's memories during the sleep cycles and through the history of both Merlin's staff and sword. His lecherous nature was the reason he was trapped in Avalon, a making of his own undoing by Vivian the Lady of the Lake, bless her heart.

Guiche was talking to a girl shorter than he was she had purple eyes and brown hair that reached the middle of her back, she also wore the standard Academy uniform like all the other girls, but her cloak was noticeably different, it was brown instead of black that he saw when he was summoned, her name was Katie. He made his way catching the tail end of their 'conversation' before they registered his presents. Well Shirou might have said conversation, but he really meant flirting and wooing.

"I'm really good at baking Soufflé." Katie said sweetly.

"I'd love to have a taste of it." Guiche replied bewitchingly.

"Really!?"

"Of Course, Katie. I would never lie in your eyes."

"Oh, Guiche."

"There's never a hidden side of my affection for you."

Shirou rolled his eyes at their banter. He should give Guiche a reason of a doubt, but he trusted his intuition and gut feeling and Guiche reminded him too much of Merlin, The Flamboyant attitude, the sweet nothings and the general vibe of charm and a greedy manipulative lustful intent.

"Hmm, oh, you're the plebeian that Louise summoned. It was a pain to have to levitate you all the way to her room, but what kind of man would I be if I'd ignored a girl in need.

"Oh, Guiche, how selfless of you. And I almost forgot that today was the Spirit Familiar Summoning Ritual, congratulations on Verðandi, Guiche. Still, it was a pretty hot topic between the first years as well."

That was a part of the reason the other was that Verðandi the giant mole was drawn to Shirou for some reason and because he was the closest for Louise to ask for help.

As they were talking mostly to themselves and not to him Shirou had no reason to stay as such he began walking

"Thank you very much, my lovely Katie- Hold it pleasant, a person such as yourself who'd caused trouble to an aristocrat such as myself, do you not have any words of gratitude?"

"Umm, Thanks I guess" Shirou said as he scratched the back of his head before turning to walk away.

Guiche's eye twitched at how nonchalant Shirou's reply was, he would have pressed Shirou on this more, but instead focused his attention on Katie as he wanted to have her eyes back on him instead of on Shirou.

If Shirou had any doubts about not being in another world, then the 2 moons in the sky did, one red and one blue. The blue moon was 4 times bigger than the one he knew. Though he wasn't sure if it was an illusion due to differences in size; The red moon was about the same size as the moon of his world.

Shirou had passed 2 other students Kirche and another student they were kind enough to have given him the directions to the laundry and staff sections of the area.

When Shirou walked in, he was greeted by a figure.

"H-Hello there, I-I didn't think anyone was still up at this hour, may i help you?" it was a shy voice, it was very reminiscent of Sakura's in the way she spoke. She wore a French maid outfit and had blue eyes and black hair.

"I'm Sorry to have bothered you, it's just that well, I'm here to wash some clothes."

"Oh, I see… pardon my rudeness but I haven't seen your face around here, are you new here by chance?"

"Well, you can say something like that."

"Well In that case it's nice to meet you. My name is Siesta, do you need any help with those? If you want, you can leave them here so they can be washed first thing in the morning if you want? If not, I can help you or take care of them for you?"

"Shirou and that won't be necessary. I can handle that on my own so don't worry alright., but thanks and ice nice to me you too" Shirou placed his hand on the back of his neck, and he gave a good-natured smile that momentarily dazed Siesta in its genuine kindness.

"W-Well if you insist, but do call if you need any help ok, I'll be back in a little bit too cheek up on you and the room."

"Thanks, I will and don't worry about the laundry room. I'll clean up after I'm done ok."

Siesta gave a curt bow before leaving, Tho Shirou told her he would take care of it but she'd be the one to be in trouble after all she was the one to use it last and left it in the hands of a newbie and his senior, she couldn't just ignore it, but first she was going to take a little nap.

The task was done very quickly as he started washing her laundry as it wasn't much to begin with, and his skills made sure it was thoroughly clean as he was now leaving them to dry. With some time on his hands, he'd helped the staff a little bit as a thank you to Siesta for letting him use the room by fixing and cleaning the area.

When Siesta returned, she was shocked to see the state of things, it was clean, cleaner than she had ever seen the laundry room before. When she started to look for Shirou to offer her thanks to him for what he'd had done but realized quickly he was nowhere to be found.

As Louise waited for Shirou's return, she was now very curious about her new familiar, does he truly not grasp his situation. As if he could defy her if he wanted, she's the one who chooses to feed him as well as a place to sleep. The sheer nerve of his and the use of terms she didn't understand made Louie's mood irritable. And a lie was good only if it was believable, as if there were other worlds, there is only one. The concept was preposterous for Louise to accept.

It was the difference between worlds, as Louise knew her world's magic as magic, while Shirou's was more advanced and diverse. but the ambient mana has grown minute by the ages, due to the dwindling of the world's mysteries and Gaia's influence. Mages of that world called their magics' "Magecraft"; An artificial reenactment of Mystery, it is the ability to bring about what is possible through science with supernatural means. And True "Magic"; The highest class of Mystery that surpasses Magecraft and all current sciences. It's the actualization of events that are impossible to reproduce in an era, whether it be by humans or the Planet.

The difference between "Magecraft" and "Magic" is that Magecraft can be classified as human wisdom and the world, while Magic is the solitude outside of that, included in neither.

For example: A spell that creates fire or even a large blaze, is considered to be merely magecraft, since lighting a match can yield the same effect. Concepts like time manipulation, teleportation, spatial warping and quarantine, and the Resurrection of the dead are miracles thought to be only possible through the application of Magic.

Louise couldn't help but eye his bag, though she originally thought it would be wrong of her to snoop through his stuff, but she'd justified it as being Shirou's master and as his master 'what was his was also hers'.

Sifted through his bag Louise came across bottles of water, a map, preservatives wrapped in aluminum as well as cans, there was also a sleeping bag.

But what caught her eye's the most was a dagger whose guard and rain guard were that of a dark bronze and were mostly wrapped by the grips black leather bindings while the fuller was that of a bluish-purple coloration as it was darker at the base and lighter at the fuller's point. The edges and point or the steel themselves were almost of a silver in texture with a pommel adorning a red jewel that had the words "AZOTH" carved into it. She had no idea what it said nor knew its meaning.

It was too luxurious for a mere simple plebeian to have as this reaffirmed her belief, he was an attendant to an aristocrat, 'was it stolen, was it a gift or was it an heirloom of some kind.' such thoughts now plagued her mind, If it was an heirloom that would mean that he was an aristocrat or a bastard child of one who'd favored his mother as his mistress. But this too would mean he may be able to use magic. If it was a gift, it would mean that the aristocrat in question was kind enough or they did something worthy enough to receive it. And if it was stolen that means she has a thief as a familiar. She would keep it hidden in the meantime until she knows for sure.

But what shocked her the most was a cute stuffed lion that'd looked like it was taken good care of. Louise gingerly held it in her hands. How can someone who looked that tough have something like this she wondered, finally the last item was a book or diary of some kind.

She flipped through the pages, and once again she came across words, she couldn't understand but were different and some that looked something similar to the writing on the jewel of the dagger.

When she looked in the book it wasn't just writing she found but also pictures one of which was an interior of a house with 4 girls, one of which was a woman with short light brown hair and eyes wearing a yellow and black striped shirt and a pair of blue jeans. She seemed to be fighting a little girl with long white hair and crimson red eyes wearing a purple collared long-sleeved shirt with a light purple scarf to match and a long white skirt with white socks. As they were violently pulling each other's cheeks. At the table was a young girl with aqua blue colored eyes and long wavy brown hair in a two-side-up hairstyle. She was wearing a red turtleneck with a golden cross in the middle of her chest and a black skirt and long black stockings looking totally exacerbated by the two's actions. At the back stood a girl in a white apron with long, lustrous violet hair styled with a pinkish-red ribbon on the left side, and violet eyes. Underneath the apron can be seen a pink top and a long cream-colored skirt. Her head slightly tilted and gave a warm smile.

As well as a photo of them eating with a younger version of her familiar

Like several others, where it was just him and the white-haired girl, a festival or events of some kind with the girls, and another with a big clock and looked older with the brunette and a new girl with long blonde hair in a coil or drill style and wore a blue dress.

And another in a classroom with other students with an older man smoking and looked more annoyed than anything.

Another with a man with spiky black hair with a chin stubble, on the porch in a kimono looking blankly into the night sky. And the last one of a man and her familiar is slightly older than she was when she first met Wards, her fiancé. He had a genuine smile on his face, while the man was more reserved and content as they were in front of the house.

Louise quickly put things back before going to bed, filled with more questions. As time flew by fast and she didn't know when Shirou would come back. And besides she had a long day and wanted to sleep, she could get those answers in the morning.
