Qianhuang returned shortly to tell the Shaman what he had found out. "The Gods sent the female Ji Mo to the Winged Lion Clan to bear us cubs. She was overwhelmed by the news and ended up slipping from the cliff top. Everyone thought she was about to die, but then some cubs ran towards her and this made the males move to catch her. It took three of the males to slow her fall enough one could grab her and fly Ji Mo to safety. The Clan is calling them heroes and Ji Mo will be taking them as mates."

The Shaman nodded. "I see. I see."

"That's- oh my." Chiaki said. She hadn't been the only woman to transmigrate to this world. She felt sorry for the other, falling off a cliff had to have been terrifying. "She is alright?" She questioned Qianhuang.

"Yes, she is unharmed." He replied.

"Okay, now what is it that you found in the forest Lord Q-" The Matriarch stopped speaking as she entered the room. "Where did this female come from?" She was so surprised.

"She was in the forest alone."

"I fell out of the sky."

Qianhuang and Chiaki spoke at the same time.

The Matriarch looked closely at Chiaki. "The Gods must have sent you!" She exclaimed. "They must truly be honored by the Winged Lion Clan to bless us with not just one, but two beautiful females!" The old woman ignored that the disturbance in the forest happened before the Clan had made their offering and plea to the Gods. She wanted this female to think it was true and to stay with the Winged Lion Clan and have cubs. "You must come pick a mate!" She waved Chiaki towards the entrance.

"She is hurt from the fall and must not walk right now." The Shaman said.

"I will carry her." Qianhuang offered.

"Wait. Wait!" Chiaki said quickly. "Don't I have a say in all of this?"

"Of course you have a say in who will be your mates." The Matriarch said. "All the unmated males of the Winged Lion Clan are yours to choose from!"

"Then I pick Qianhuang." Chiaki said.

"What, no- no! Qianhuang is the first pure white lion to be born in our Clan in many years! Our people consider him a saint!"

"Have any of the other pure white lions ever taken a mate?"

"Of course not!" A male stood in the doorway. "They have always blessed our Clan as Saints, gifts from the Beast God."

"This is one of our other males." The Matriarch said. "He is the one who pleaded with the Beast God for help. Call him Lord Priest."

'They don't understand genetics.' Chiaki thought. 'Of course white lions are rare if they never have children.' She shook her head. 'I can't believe I've ended up in a world full of Beast Men.' "I won't change my mind." She said out-loud. "If a white lion is a gift from the Beast God and I am a gift from the Beast God, wouldn't us becoming mates please the Beast God?" 'Eh, so many times saying Beast God, doesn't their god have a name?'

The Matriarch looked at Chiaki, then to the Shaman, Lord Priest at the entrance, and finally at Qianhuang. "You, you really will only agree if it is him?"

"Only Qianhuang." Chiaki insisted.

"I accept." Qianhuang said. "I will step down from my station as Patron Saint of the Winged Lion Clan and become Chiaki's mate."

"Then Lord Qianhuang, you should quickly do what needs to be done!" Lord Priest nearly yelled, finally gaining the attention of several others outside.

"What is happening?" "Why is Lord Priest yelling?" "What is the Saint needing to do?" Several males began to gather near the entrance.

"Oh, will you look at them." The Matriarch grumbled. "It would be for the best if you take your mate home quickly."

Qianhuang nodded and scooped Chiaki up off the Shamans bed. "Hold tightly." He said to her.

Qianhuang was moving so quickly again and Chiaki was unsure how he had managed to get the two of them out the entryway and into the sky without knocking into anyone. They were already in the sky, high above the village.
