The first thing I noticed when I woke up was that this was not my room. I however couldn't put much thought as to where I was before a searing pain came from my head.

"Fuck." I couldn't help but let that out as the pain I was feeling was greater than anything I felt before. To try to stop the pain I clenched my eyes shut and gripped my head in my hands hoping that would relieve the pain. It didn't feel like it was working but I kept at it even when I heard a door open followed by quick footsteps.

"Mr. Uchiha, where does it hurt?" Someone asked me, I think.

"My head." I groaned. A hand was then quickly placed on my head before the pain started to slowly go away till all that was left was a dull ache.

"I'm going to be honest Mr. Uchiha, I haven't seen a migraine that bad in a very long time. Unfortunately, this is all I can do for you at the moment." The person who I can only assume is a doctor said.

"Why." I couldn't help but groan.

"Right now Mr. Uchiha you are suffering from a case of chakra exhaustion. As I'm sure you have learned from the academy, chakra is made from invisible coils in our bodies. The body usually has a limit to how much chakra you can pull out from the coils to stop you from damaging them. However, you went over that limit and drew more than what your coils could handle. You are now feeling the black lash of it in the form of migraines and headaches. Which in most cases stops the person from using any more chakra, as their minds can't concentrate on what they want to do. Especially in your case, the migraines will probably be worse than most as all that chakra went into your head making your brain more sensitive and hyperactive. We believe the cause was the awakening of your Sharingan due to all you witnessed. So for the next few days, you'll be experiencing migraines till your chakra recovers from the black lash. There are potentially other effects..." While Kishi listened to the doctor his thoughts went to what happened the last time he was conscious. He was pretty certain his Kaasan was dead, after all, no one survives a stab to the heart. That uncertainty though was killing him so he interrupted the doctor's explanation.

"Doctor if you don't mind me asking Is my Kaasan still alive." This caused the doctor to stop talking. His silence answered my question. "I see."

"Yes, your Kaasan, unfortunately, passed on yesterday along with the rest of your clan except for you and Sasuke Uchiha. All killed by Itachi Uchiha to prove his strength as the strongest Uchiha by killing the strongest clan." This caused me to open my eyes and look the doctor in the face.

The serious expression on his face told me he wasn't lying. However, the reason for Itachi to kill the clan sounded stupid.

"Is that the reason why Itachi killed the clan?"

"Yes, I know it may sound far-fetched but the Hokage himself stated that was Itachi's intent. He stated it with a note left in the Anbu headquarters." There was still something about the doctor's explanation that seemed off.

"Do you mind if I have some time for myself, doctor?"

"No I wouldn't mind at all, but before I go Mr. Uchiha I have to ask you, are you feeling any pain anywhere else other than your head?"

"No, other than my head everything feels fine. Why am I supposed to feel pain somewhere?" I said after moving my arms and legs.

"No, that was just to make sure we didn't potentially miss anything. Alright, now I'll leave you to your thoughts Mr. Uchiha. If you need help with anything just ask the anbu in the corner for help." He said pointing to the right corner of the room in front of the bed.

Looking that way I saw a blue-haired Anbu with a cat mask standing in the corner. Their mask was interesting as they had a blue half-crescent moon on their forehead along with blue stripes on their cheek. It was probably the first time he got an actual look at an Anbu mask let alone an Anbu. Speaking of, he wondered why they weren't hidden in the corner or something.

"If you don't mind me asking, but aren't you supposed to be hidden," I asked the anbu a few moments after the doctor left.

"Usually that is the case for most missions. However, I've been assigned to be both your bodyguard and nurse in the hospital. This is to both protect and deter threats to your life. For the remainder of your time in the hospital, the only other person you'll see other than me will be the doctor. If you need me for anything you may call me by the name Luna."

While it was cool to have an anbu as his bodyguard. He wished he didn't need it, but considering who murdered the clan he understood the reason why.

Not wanting to deal with the pain anymore, Kishi soon returned to the sweet embrace of sleep. All under the watchful eye of his anbu bodyguard.

A week later.

The past week hadn't been kind to Kishi in any way. As there was nothing really to do in the hospital all he did was think about his Kaasan and her final moments. This just made him depressed as he knew that was the last time he was going to see her. What made it even worse for him was that all that thinking just increased the pain from the migraines and forced Luna to heal him often from the pain. This in turn just made him feel worse as he felt like he was taking advantage of Luna without doing anything in return for her. Of course, when he told her this she just disagreed and said she was just doing what she ordered. Still, this only made his depression worse as he felt useless that he wasn't able to do anything.

That was until today when the doctor allowed him to finally get to do something seeing as the migraines have stopped coming since yesterday. Of course that something was just his school work, but it allowed his mind to be distracted and not think about Kaasan. While he had finished this year already, there was no harm in redoing it again.

While reading the first book he noticed that he was reading much faster than before. Along with the fact that he was almost able to remember what he read perfectly. It was almost like he had his Sharingan active even though he didn't have the chakra for it right now. He just took it as a passive ability the Sharingan gives its users when they unlock it.

What Kishi didn't know was that unlocking his Sharingan at the age of five affected the development of his brain. Due to the Sharingan's ability to give a person a perfect memory while in use, the ability was imprinted into his developing brain. This made it so Kishi didn't have to activate his Sharingan to have a perfect memory. However, this came at the cost of having those migraines when he first woke up in the hospital.

With his new abilities, Kishi was able to finish everything in a week almost three months faster than he did the first time. Of course, it was the only thing he did for the past week compared to having to do chores and other things during those two months. Still, it left him with nothing to do for the next few days. Luckily the doctor had told him that he could be released in a few days depending on how some tests go.
