Hey guys! Back at it with another chapter of The Book Of Mudora

So I have been a little lax in updating this story, and I am sorry for that. A lot has been happening in my life with work, some blackouts taking away some of my progress which is really fucking annoying, and over all writer's block for a bit. However my inspiration is not about to quit!

The progress of this story is gonna take some time, but I promise I will be updating it as much as I can. But I will probably be taking small breaks from writing the Book Of Mudora by focusing on my other story Arcful Romance and will try some one-shot romance/smut stories with our favorite blond noodle.

So if it looks like this story is slowing down, its because of those factors. Plus I definitely have to thank all of you for supporting this story and giving me some fantastic ideas on how to progress the story when I get stumped and some funny ideas for Omakes later on for the story.

Also, I might go back and add or fix some things in previous chapters in the story. It won't be a total rewrite, but maybe correcting some grammar issues or spelling checks. Maybe add some lines here and there.

But it won't be a full rewrite of the chapter.

Anyways! Its time to get back to our regular scheduled programming don't you?

I don't own any of RWBY or Legend Of Zelda, but if I did all of Team JPBY would wear special powered masks.

Chapter 9: The Ancient Words Of Power

Night had fallen on the four Huntsmen in training, the stars out to brighten the sky with wonderful light. Fire was crackling at the campsite and illuminated the four bodies sitting down on the ground.

The sounds of silence was heard as the adventure team of JPBY was finishing up their wonderful dinner for tonight. Yang and Pyrrha were fairly impressed that Jaune could make something this good with the few ingredients that he brought from their shopping trip and the stuff that he caught.

Blake on the other couldn't help herself but sigh in complete satisfaction from the meal. Her tongue feeling the tangy aftertaste of the delicious fish stew that Jaune created, it was almost orgasmic to her. She felt really embarrassed to say that she moaned a little bit because of the godly taste, something she knew Yang would relentlessly tease her over later on.

The cat faunus only wished their was more of the godly stew, she could only cry in her thoughts to see there was no more of the wonderful creation.

"Damn lover boy, that was some of the tastiest stew I've ever had," Yang gave blew a kiss towards the blond knight and gave him flirty wink. "My compliments to the stud chef." Which set off another blush onto Jaune's face. Yang couldn't see it, but Pyrrha was looking at the brawler with some more confusion, and a slightly feeling protective towards her blond partner.

Jaune just scratched the back of his head and chuckled. "T-Thanks Yang, but that stew wasn't all that special." The blond knight went to his backpack and reached inside to get something special for everyone. After a couple seconds he found what he was looking for, as he took out a bag of marshmallows and handed it towards the other three ladies. "Here you go ladies. Can't have a good camping trip without toasted marshmallows to end the day." Tossing the bag to Yang, everyone in the group giving a thank you towards the blond.

"So what are you saying Jauney? That you could do better than this?" Yang questioned, putting her marshmallow in the fire with her stick in hand.

"I'm saying if you want to see me really cut loose with my skills. Come see me in the kitchen at Beacon and I'll show you a real Arc family feast. I'll make something so good it will blow that stew out of the water." Jaune boasted with pride. Cooking for seven sisters when mom and dad go out of town was definitely a tall task for the lone male Arc.

"You speak blasphemy Jaune..." Blake defended, anything fish or seafood related was always special in her eyes and nothing can change that.

"Yeah Jaune! How do we know you can pull a repeat of your skills? This could be a fluke." Yang chided playfully.

"Trust me, Pyrrha has had some of my finest work during my cooking spells." The red haired girl could only think back to the time when it was Jaune's turn to cook for team dinner. She sighed in delight from the thought of those delicious grilled chicken garlic chicken breasts, cooked to perfection mixed vegetables, and creamy mash potatoes made with just the right amount of seasoning, and to top it off with a devilish apple pie for dessert. Team JNPR was blessed to have Jaune as cook in the kitchen.

Considering Pyrrha and Nora were abysmal at cooking and Ren was only great at making pancakes... she thanked the brothers that Jaune could make other things than just those fluffy breakfast discs. Some of the weekends were definitely saved by the blond knight's delicious food when the kitchen was closed.

Pyrrha heard a dramatic gasp from the brawler of the group, lilac eyes of betrayal gazing at the champion, "You knew he could cook like this all along and you didn't tell us? For shame P-Money." Yang waggled her finger at the champion, which only made her blush and avert her emerald gaze to the ground.

"I guess it just slipped my mind at the time." Pyrrha said sheepishly.

"Slipped your mind!?" Yang's playful demeanor started to fall and a sad frown was in place. "We all could have been tasting this masterful cooking as a family? How could you hold out on us Pyrrha? Aren't we combat sisters in arms?" The blond started to wobble her lips and let the crocodile tears out.

"N-Now Yang... T-That's not fa-" Pyrrha was about to counter back, but the blond turned on the waterworks even more.

"Fair? Keeping this wonderful talent from your family is not fair! How could you be so selfish Pyrrha! WAAAAAAAH!" Yang started crying out, which made Pyrrha feel like garbage and surprised Jaune, he never knew that Yang felt that way about this, nor would he knew that Yang was this sensitive to cry about something like this.

"Really Yang?" Blake thought, she wasn't fooled by her partner's act. Yang pulled something similar to her teammates when she wanted to be the first one to take showers in the dorm, and now long story short Team RWB had to suffer knowing most of the hot water was being used by the blond brawler. All she said was in return was 'Hey, you guys let me so who am I to turn down first dibs in the shower?'. Blake knew at that point this wouldn't be the last time she pulled something that cruel.

Now they could catch onto her fake sob story BS at the drop of a hat when she tried to pull it on others.

Pyrrha only reacted to the 'crying' Yang the only way she knew how, "I'm sorry!" the red haired girl said rapidly. "I didn't know it meant that much to you." Pyrrha said and bowed her head towards the blonde.

"It... It does." Yang sniffled out in a hammy way.

"How can I make it up to you?" Pyrrha pleaded desperately, she didn't want to sever a bond with Yang, she was a great friend and losing her friendship would break her heart.

Only Pyrrha didn't catch the light snickering from Yang. The blond fist fighter was about to lay down the forgiveness speech and exchange in her favor to have Jaune cook her these wonderful meals everyday.

Nothing could stop her now.

That was until she felt a hard chop on the top of her head.

"OW! What the hell Blake!" Yang's sad persona evaporated instantly and took on an angry look at the girl that delivered the blow. She looked at the monochrome girl's eyes and they looked narrowed, which only made Yang look away from her gaze.

"I know what your doing." Blake said, her tone saying she wasn't impressed.

"What am I doing?" Yang didn't look at her when she asked the question.

"Don't play dumb Yang, you've pulled this same song and dance before. You've teased and tormented Pyrrha enough with your act, now stop it." Blake said. "I'm not gonna let you pull her along like you did with the rest of our team." The cat faunus put her foot down on this notion.

"Blaaaaaake." Yang groaned out. "Why'd you go and ruin the hookup I was getting for our team?"

"Because you were going to exploit him for his cooking." Blake said as she narrowed her amber eyes at her partner. Jaune only raised in eyebrow from that comment. Was his fish stew really that good that they'd want him to always cook for them? Well he felt extremely flattered, but he didn't think he'd be this known for his skills in the kitchen.

"Oh come on, I'm not that good of a cook." Jaune's eyes pointed to Pyrrha. "Sure Pyrrha has tried my cooking, but it wasn't five star chef levels."

"Jaune are you serious?" Pyrrha looked at him like he had a second head, "Restaurants in Mistral couldn't compare to some of the dishes you've made. I swear that salmon you made for us three nights ago felt like a four star dinner." Which set off alarm bells in a certain cat faunus head, he knew how to cook a decent salmon.

Her lips were already starting to salivate, despite the wonderful fish stew they just had.

"Well Blakey? You interested now?"

"No! Its... Its not right!" The cat faunus was trying to convince herself. "I don't want to use Jaune like that." She tried to convince herself and not fall into shameless temptation.

"Oh come on Blake, just think about it..." Yang crawled towards the black haired faunus girl and whispered in her ear, "~All the tuna styled dishes and fish food you could ever want, and lover boy would make them to your liking~" Which made Blake's resolve buckle slightly, she could imagine it now.

Bluefin tuna, bigeye tuna, yellowfin tuna, all created like a 5-star dinner, and that was just tuna alone.

She couldn't help but imagine the delicious foods Jaune could create in her mind.

"Here you go Blake! Tuna melt sandwich with some chips, your favorite." The faunus was trying to break this daydream, but the hits just kept coming.

"I got something special for you Blake! A nice grilled Mackerel with some wonderful rice on the side with some tea." Blake's thoughts were slowly turning against her, the more she thought of those delicious food items the more Yang's idea was actually working for her.

"Fish Tacos just for you Blake. I know that you like those Cod ones." She couldn't take it anymore, her face started to blush a slight pink from all of these wonderful food items that had fish.

"~Nyaa~" All of those thoughtful gestures, how the food looked so delicious in her mind, and the fact that it was being made with love and care by a surprisingly cute blond chef, she was losing this battle of wills fast.

"~And... You can thank the stud later, if you know what I mean. I'm sure Jaune wouldn't mind the company of two smoking hot bombshells~" Yang whispered, causing Blake to turn a darker shade of red from the implication.

"J-Just like with Ninja's Of Love 2... The Kunoichi Counterattack!" She couldn't help but think the second book from the NOL. One scene, where the main character and two of the love interests tag team him for taking care of them when they needed it most. It was a raunchy scene, she couldn't help the nosebleed that was starting to come out.

Blake was starting to crack under the pressure and Yang knew it, one more push would send her over the edge and on her side for this Jaune cooking idea, Yang was so close she could almost taste the food Jaune was gonna cook for her.

However divine intervention thanks to the Goddess of Victory came to ruin Yang's plan.

"Yang, aren't you forgetting something important right now. Like information that we need?" Pyrrha tried to change the subject not only stopping Yang's 'vile' plan, but getting everyone back on track.

"Drats... Ah your right P-Money." Yang didn't look too concerned about being foiled. "Looks like your off the hook there Blakey...for now anyways." The cat faunus finally out of her daydreams with sweat all over her face from that wonderful dream. Lilac eyes and a smug grin was still plastered on her partners face though, "But don't think your off the hook there Blake. We will discuss this at a later time. Alone." That comment made the cat faunus shiver, she didn't know if she could handle fishy torture bribe alone...

"I'll have to thank Pyrrha later for getting me out of that, I almost lost my mind..." Blake thought. She let out a breath she'd been holding.

"What kind of information Pyr?" Jaune asked, which made Yang snap her fingers in remembrance.

"Oh yeah! That!" Yang said, her face now taking on a serious look. "Blake met a strange creature in the forest when we were fighting these unknown monsters that we never seen before. She was going to tell us the whole situation since she is the only one that know about these... what did you call them Blake? Konox or something?" Yang said out to the group.

"They are called Korok's." Blake said to the group, shocking both Pyrrha and Jaune.

"You met one!" Jaune and Pyrrha both said at the same time. Both the knight and spartan girl were feeling different kinds of emotions.

Jaune was feeling dread because not only were these other races of Hyrule were around in the forest and maybe even all across Remnant real. He was worried about the great evil that the Hero's Shade warned him about a few nights ago, if that was the case then this revelation was only the beginning.

Pyrrha just couldn't believe it! The book was telling the truth of these legendary stories, the different races, the history of Hyrule itself, all of this is real and it seems like no one has pointed it out in their Huntsmen classes or anything. They were stumbling on knowledge that nobody in Vale has discovered. She also felt a little disheartened that Blake got to see the cute little Korok sapling. If she ever got the opportunity she'd definitely take a picture of the little cuties, for research purposes of course!

But Jaune's and Pyrrha's internal musing ended when he saw that Pyrrha knew about the little tree fairing race.

"Pyrrha... how do you know the Koroks?" Jaune asked his partner.

"Well..." Pyrrha was twiddling her thumbs. But before she could explain, Blake spoke up.

"Because I let her borrow The Book Of Mudora." Blake explained.

"Wait you WHAT!?" Jaune was going to start panicking now, if Pyrrha was in on this now, then there's no telling when she'll start getting those visions and dreams like he and Blake have been getting.

"What's so special about this book?" Yang said to the others, but the question was ignored as Jaune was starting to get nervous.

"I'm sorry. I was just curious about our assignment Jaune." The red headed spartan said. "And Blake said that the book might have some answers to what we were looking for. I thought that if I researched the book... maybe I could be more helpful on this mission." Pyrrha finished, her head down in shame. "I should of talked to you about this before we left on the bullhead."

"Look Pyrrha I know your curious and I appreciate that your trying to help." Jaune said "But you can't just go and read sensitive material like that alright." Jaune scolded her partner, making the red haired girl feel even more bad about snooping around.

But Blake was quick to defend her actions. "You let me borrow it Jaune." Blake replied back with some heat, "What was the problem with her taking a look at it?"

"B-Because!" Jaune tried to let Blake know why. Hell he told her in the infirmary a couple of days ago why, he didn't need his partner to get curious and start reading this book.

"No Jaune, but enlighten me. What is the big problem here!" Blake looked at with a scowl on her face.

Didn't he explain why? He wanted to keep the Hero's Shade a secret from Pyrrha, did she just forget?

"Because I don't want everyone involved in this Blake! This unknown history could be dangerous!" Jaune shouted out, technically this was a lie. But if the contents in the book were anything to go by he wouldn't want any of his friends getting into THAT kind of trouble.

"I requested all of you to help me out with this, maybe have a little fun camping during this whole deal. But I don't want you to get hurt because of my project!" Jaune said

"Well its too late for that now Jaune, we are here as group and with these monsters out in the open, anything could happen. So its not your call anymore!" The cat faunus bringing her heated words towards the blonde knight.

"HEY!" Yang shouted out with her eyes turning red, she had enough of being ignored and if she didn't intervene then a fight was going to break out between the two.

"WHAT!" Both of Blake and Jaune shouted out at the same time looking at the brawler with anger in both cobalt and amber eyes.

But Yang wasn't fazed at all from their outburst.

"Fighting about this situation isn't getting us anywhere. Blake, you shouldn't have gone behind Jaune's back and let Pyrrha read the book." Yang was laying down the law. "I thought you were working on communicating with us when we created our experiment. What happened to that?" Blake only looked down at from that, the cat faunus did agree to start talking more about some issue with her team, but sometimes old habits are harder to break than others.

"Jaune, all of us are Huntresses in training. Our lives are in constant danger because of our profession." Yang explained. " Stop treating all of us like we are made of glass." Yang said out directing her anger at the knight. But he just couldn't help voicing his issues with this situation in particular.

"I know...look I just..." He paused for a second " I just want to look out for my friends ok, is that too much to ask?" Jaune was trying to be good person about this. He loved hanging out with his friend and he'd feel like garbage if any of them got hurt because of his problems.

Yang only sighed out and gave a small smile towards the knight. "I appreciate the thought VB." Yang flexed her arm to show her muscles. "But we are all big girls that can kick some serious Grimm ass. There's no need to coddle us." Then her grin got cocky "In fact I'm sure we can still kick your butt six ways to Sunday still." Jaune couldn't deny that, he was improving but he still wasn't at Yang or even Pyrrha's level of fighting prowess.

"Have a little faith in us for Oum's sake alright lover boy." Yang said.

"Yeah... Ok." Jaune nodded his head in understanding.

With both parties starting to relax, both Blake and Jaune felt pretty horrible, they had a petty fight over something completely asinine.

"Now that we got that out of the way, time to kiss and make up you two." Yang said, her eyes slowly going back to their regular purple color.

They both took a few seconds and looked at each other, wanting to protest about it, but Yang intensified her glare.

"Go on." Yang said. This reminded her of when her dad did this with her and Ruby sometimes when they got into a little fight.

"Huh... So that's what it looks like on the other side."

"Blake... I'm sorry I overreacted. I was out of line and I should of put more faith in your judgement and if you think that she's ready, then I'll back you on that call." Jaune said towards Blake. She was touched that the blonde put that much trust to make that call.

"Honestly... I should of asked you about letting Pyrrha read the book instead of not telling you about it. That was my fault."

Blake held out her hand towards Jaune. "Still friends?" Blake said with a smile on her face.

Jaune took her small hand into his and gave a nice squeeze. "Never had to question it Blake." Jaune said with a smile of his own.

"Good... Now that we all calmed down from our yelling, how about we get back to is going on here?" Yang was still confused here. If anything she was definitely the most lost of the group. "Jaune, you haven't told us about what we were looking for, other than its important for your assignment for Oobleck. Do you mind telling us what we are getting ourselves into now?" Yang said as she took her marshmallow from the fire and took a bite of the toasty treat.

Jaune huffed out in exhaustion, might as well tell them now. "What we are looking for is a small medallion called the Bombos Medallion. The maps in the Book Of Mudora have pathways and directions to the medal that I need to show to Oobleck as an example for this grade."

"So that explains what we're after, somewhat anyways." Yang said. "But back to original question. What is so important about this book?" Yang said, "Pyrrha you told me that you know about this Korok because of the book? Do you know about these things too Jaune?"

Pyrrha and Jaune both nodded their heads, Pyrrha a little more hesitant than her partner though. But that was all it took for Yang to get a little upset at being the only one left out of the loop. "Ok now this just straight up unfair!" The brawler was a little steamed. "All three of you knew what that little guy was and here I am lost without an explanation!?"

"Yang... just relax. I'm just about to get that alright." Blake immediately talked to her partner to cool her off.

"Fine. I just don't understand how she's up to speed about certain things when I'm not." Yang pouted.

"Don't blame Pyrrha, if anything she's just as new to all of this stuff than you are. She just got to reading the book and that's the reason she knows about that little guy we saved tonight." Blake said.

"You keep referring back to the book constantly." Yang said. "Isn't this just a damn history book? Why does this thing have all the answers? What is it the Holy Book of The Brothers?" Yang felt exasperated, how could this 'history book' that they found tell them about a species and weird monsters that appeared for the first time ever in there lifetime.

"So you know all of those monsters that you fought in the forest Yang?" Blake questioned, which made the brawler nod to the question.

"Yeah, what about it?" The blond replied back.

"Well... what if I told you all of those monsters that you and Pyrrha destroyed, including those other green goblins were actually from another lost kingdom entirely? And the only information on said creatures were on the book that all three of us have been reading currently?" Blake pointed towards the Book of Mudora that was right underneath the tree she sit her sleeping bag next to.

That's when Yang gave her partner a funny look. "I'd say you have been sniffing some bad catnip there kitty cat."

Which only caused Blake to roll her eyes at the low hanging fruit jab. "I'm serious here Yang."

"And you think I'm not? Come on there's no way that is true. Stop playing around and tell me straight up." Yang dead set on her answer.

The B of RWBY went towards the tree and picked up the book. "Give me a second and I'll show you the proof." Blake said as she flipped through the pages. After a couple of seconds, she went towards Yang and opened the book to the page she wanted her to see.

"Does this picture look familiar to you?" The picture in question was the image of a Korok, with its wooden body and leafy face on display. Causing the brawler to widen her eyes a bit.

"It... does look similar to the thing we just saved in the forest." If Yang put the creatures side by side they'd definitely would be the same species with matching looks.

But she just shook her head. "But that could have been anything. Like some kind of animal or woodland creature." It seemed that Yang was in denial of this information.

The brawler heard her partner sigh out and continued to flip through the book and came upon a picture of the Deku Babas and Skulltulas that looked similar to the monsters they fought a few hours ago.

"Then how about these things then? You saw and killed those monsters right?" Blake pointed towards the pictures to show her partner the proof.

"Yeah?" Yang said back.

"These monsters were in the land of Hyrule and terrorizing the 5th kingdom of Remnant years ago. They attacked the Kingdom of Hyrule long ago, and they are here once again." She continued to flip and found a picture of the Bokoblins as well. "There's no way you can deny that these things were in the forest." Blake finished.

But Yang only scoffed at that, "You could be right..." Blake felt relieved that she was going to start coming around.

"About time you started coming around." Blake said.

However her partner's next words dashed her hopes. "But it could also be a new type of Grimm Blake. They just take the form of these monsters to fool us. They disappeared after we killed them." That answer caused Blake to look at her partner incredulously.

"Are you kidding me Yang? You were there when you saw the Korok was being cornered, saw what these monsters were with your own eyes." Blake explained. "How are you going to deny that these things or this book isn't telling the truth."

"Blake, you've only showed me pictures from a book, this doesn't tell me anything useful." Yang said, "You are trying to convince me that another kingdom that isn't part of the big 4 main kingdoms have these different monsters and different creatures that nobody has ever seen before? Then tell me this so called 'Hyrule' existed for years along with the other kingdoms and the only records that exist are in this book alone and you expect to believe that?" Yang finished saying.

"Yes! In fact I'm trying to warn you about something that the Korok told us about! Something in this forest that can threaten our lives if we don't tread carefully!" Shouted out, causing Jaune and Pyrrha to be on alert with that information.

But Yang wasn't buying it, "What are you so afraid of? Its probably just gonna be some low level Grimm like Beowolves or Ursa that we can take out no problem here in these woods. Maybe a Deathstalker or Nevermore if we are unlucky, but still manageable." Yang was trying to reassure her partner.

"No Yang, these Guardians are true nightmares... They are much stronger than the Grimm." She flipped towards the page to show her and the rest of the team what she was talking about. "These monsters are too strong, with everything that we have learned and seen. We need to be prepared to escape if we ever come into contact with them, they have devastated entire towns and villages with single units alone." Blake said with dread in her voice.

Making Jaune nervous and Pyrrha a bit on edge from that explanation, the knight didn't think these machines were that deadly. But like Blake said if they could take down entire towns alone, what if there are multiple units attacking somewhere? What if they attacked Beacon with multiple units? It seemed like a disaster waiting to happen.

"Bullshit." Was Yang's only word that she said.

"What?" Blake questioned.

"Stop lying to us Blake! Tell us the truth and stop lying about this fucking book that you think is real!" Yang shouted out her denial, there was no way these machines existed this book and everything in it was fake.

"Why do you think I'm lying to you! Why would I lie to you about something serious like this?!" Blake said.

"It wouldn't be the first time you lied about something this serious." Yang said, her lilac eyes widened when she said those words, they slipped out and she was going to start kicking herself later.

But the damage had been done. Blake felt like she didn't think her partner would feel this way, it felt like she just got slapped in the face. "I see..." With nothing else to say, the bookish teen walked away from the fire and went towards the tree, book in hand and walked away from the group, ending the conversation between them.

Jaune however was not pleased from Yang's accusation and was definitely not finished. He walked up towards the blond brawler, his face conveying his anger.

"What the hell was that about Yang?" Jaune growled out. Sure this didn't seem like his team's business, but he couldn't just stand by when one friend is accusing another like that.

"Jaune please don't. Yang probably didn't mean it." Pyrrha pleaded, last thing she wanted to see was her friends getting into another argument that could lead to a fight.

"No Pyrrha. Yang needs to explain herself." The red haired girl has never seen him this mad since his conflict with Cardin.

But it fell on deaf ears as the brawler continued. "What do I need to explain? Blake needs to start telling the truth, Jaune." She said crossing her arms with a scowl across her face.

"She is telling the truth! Everything in that book is real, and trust me I should know." Jaune said, causing Yang to roll her eyes in exasperation. "She's trying to tell us something that could save our lives and your just gonna throw all of that info back in her face?!"

"Don't tell me you believe this crap too." Yang said, she was getting tired of listening about this stupid book already.

"Of course I do! I'm the one that had the maps and pushed to do this trip in the first place! This book hasn't led us astray yet!" Jaune said.

"Riggghhhht because this book is sooo resourceful." sarcasm dripping from her tone. "What's the book gonna tell you both next Jaune? You gonna tell me I am gonna meet a cute fairy princess from the book?"

"Yang." The knight said as a warning, but it fell on deaf ears.

"Oh wait wait... Maybe a unicorn will come through brush and take me to a fairy tale world." Yang said in a mocking tone.

"Stop it." Jaune growled out, he was starting to lose his composure a bit from the brawler's terrible attitude.

"OR WAIT! I'll actually turn into an actual fucking DRAGON!" Yang shouted towards Jaune. "Face it Jaune, you're being suckered like a complete moron by some stupid pieces of paper that is fictional, and your pulling Blake along with you." Yang finished.

"Wow now your just being rude. Did your mother ever teach you manners?" When that came out of his mouth, Yang stopped talking and looked at him like he just slapped her in the face.

"What did you just say?" The brawler bunched up her fist and tighten them.

"You heard me." Jaune fired back. "Guess your mother didn't teach you to be a good listener either." Yang's arm was about raised to throw a punch and Jaune was raising arms to block the blow.

However the blow never came as Akouo blocked Yang's punch with a loud clang, its wielder in front of both of the blonde's to stop the growing fight.

"That's enough" Pyrrha said in a deadly serious voice, her green eyes glaring at both of them.

"Pyrrha get out of the way! Jaune needs a lesson in respect!" Red eyes narrowing towards cerulean blue.

"Yang. Stop." Pyrrha said in a commanding voice. "You said it yourself, we shouldn't be fighting amongst each other." The red haired girl got into a stance. "I don't want to fight you Yang, but I will if you try to harm Jaune."

"You're gonna defend Blake and Jaune when they clearly lying to both of us about what's going on?" She thought Pyrrha would be on her side for this one? Didn't everyone need to know the truth here? What happen to being honest?

"No." Pyrrha said, putting her weapons away and looking at Jaune with a fierce look making the blond sweat a bit. "We will all have our answers to this mystery. But fighting amongst each other isn't the way Yang, even if Jaune did say something... uncouth." Pyrrha was now giving him the 3rd degree, now he wished he just kept his mouth shut with that little snide comment.

Jaune did not even want to think about getting on his partner's bad side.

Yang clicked her tongue and started to calm down. Her eyes turned back into her usual violet. "Fine... But this isn't over Jaune. We better find something at that damn location that Blake is leading us towards. Otherwise there is gonna be hell to pay, got it?" Yang pointed towards the blond.

"Crystal." Jaune said, his voice not wavering.

The brawler had nothing else to say as she towards her tent and crawled in, hoping to get some early shuteye for tomorrow.

Jaune let out a sign of absolute relief from that confrontation. "Thanks Pyr. You really saved my bacon there." The knight had a calm composure on the outside right now.

Inside however...

"Holy shit! I thought I was gonna have to write my last will, saying how I was murdered by Yang! Hell maybe even Pyr would have joined in on that if she glared hard enough." He couldn't believe he did that! Did he have a death wish or something?!

The Mistralian champion just gave a half hearted smile. "No problem." Pyrrha said. "Just... try not to provoke Yang like that alright?"

"Look. I just couldn't let that comment go Pyrrha." Jaune looked where Blake went, only to see her at the tree's base, reading the Book of Mudora some more. He saw the faunus demeanor sour from that little spat.

"Its great that you try and stand up for others Jaune, its definitely an admirable quality you have." The red haired with a slight frown on her face.

"Just... be mindful from what you say next time. I think you touched on something that was very personal to Yang." Pyrrha noticed the quick temper change when Jaune said something about her mother, must of been some issues with their family in the past.

"Sorry... I think we are all just wound up from today's traveling." Jaune said. This wasn't how he wanted the first day to end, with everyone at each other's throats.

It just didn't feel good at all.

"Pyrrha... do you believe in Blake and I have said about the book or what's been said tonight?" Jaune questioned.

Usually the Mistralian champion had a lot of faith and confidence in her leader's choices and word.

But to something of this scale... she wasn't too sure right now.

"This... was a lot to take in tonight Jaune. Its going to take me some time to get used to all of... whatever this 'Land of Hyrule' is." Which didn't inspire confidence in the blonde. He'd hope that his partner would believe in what Blake told the group tonight.

"But don't worry! Once I get some more knowledge from the book that you and Blake have been reading, I'll be on the right track." Pyrrha tried reassuring the blond.

"That's all I can ask you to do Pyr." Jaune said with a warming smile.

With that information out, the cereal girl gave off a huge yawn and stretching her arms over her head, showing her exhaustion from today and giving Jaune a little show of her cleavage making the blond blush slightly.

"I think Yang has the right idea, we should get some sleep and get ready for tomorrow." The red haired girl said.

Jaune yawned out in response, making Pyrrha giggle. "Yeah... I think your right on that call." The knight was turning to go towards his tent for the night for some sleep, but noticed Blake still reading by the tree. "But... Before that I need to talk to Blake about something real quick." Jaune said, but Pyrrha knew better. She just hoped that Jaune didn't upset her even more than what happened a couple of minutes ago. She wanted to convince her leader that Blake probably needed some space from what was said.

But she knew her partner wouldn't just let this go if he didn't step in and help, she just hoped that Jaune knows what he's doing.

"Just don't stay up to late Jaune, remember we are on the last night watch before we move out in the morning." Pyrrha informed him.

"It'll just be a few minutes. I'm definitely hitting the hay after the long day we had." Jaune felt some fatigue from all that hiking today. As much as aura is a valuable tool for everyday Huntsmen and Huntresses, normal things like sleep and hunger definitely still apply to them. "Goodnight Pyrrha."

"Goodnight Jaune." Pyrrha said as she went towards her tent setup and crawled inside.

With that done, Jaune was actually thinking about turning in for the night. This conversation definitely turned bad with Yang getting aggressive over the information that was given. But that was all for not when she started accusing her partner for lying to everyone about this new threat.

Now the blond felt like he shot himself in the foot for trying to start a fight with Yang. If the knight could go back in time and slap himself for how stupid he was being he would of. He should of been the voice of reason when Blake's words were failing, he should stepped in and mediate when everything was falling apart and what did he do?

"Almost earned myself free ass whuppin from Yang that's what." This wasn't good, these Guardians are threat, plain and simple. Yang needed to listen and at least know what they were up against in the worst possible situation. With that said, Jaune made his way towards Blake and just stood there.

Her eyes gazed up at the knight and then went back to The Book Of Mudora, seemingly more invested to learn more about these machines that they could run into.

The two friends didn't say anything, the dying sounds of the fire were the only sound that could be heard. They didn't know what to say to each other, they both yelled at each other for stupid reasons and then yelled at Yang for denying the truth of their findings.

Jaune felt bad about this, he never wanted to drag these three into a situation like he has himself in currently. But with Blake getting these visions now, it could only be a matter of time before Pyrrha starts getting these nightmares about the world of Hyrule or maybe something even worse could happen. Now he felt like an ass by fighting with both Yang and Blake tonight.

"Definitely not going to be on my list for the best camping trip ever." Jaune thought.

Finally the silence was broken by cat faunus sitting at the base of the tree. "You didn't need to defend me like that Jaune." Blake said out loud.

"Yes I did." Jaune replied back.

"No you didn't. I deserve that from her...from everyone." She looked down at herself, her amber eyes dim with sadness.

"You don't deserve to be treated that way Blake." Jaune said as he shook his head.

"I'm not going to sit there and let a friend get called a liar, when you haven't been wrong yet here." Jaune continued.

"Are you sure? Because it seems like I have been lying about a lot of things lately." Blake couldn't help but put herself down, but Jaune was not going to let that happen, he's been down this self deprecation road before and he'll be damned to see one of his friends go down this route.

"Don't lose faith. I know you can convince her that these Guardians are real." Jaune reassured her.

"How would you know that?" Blake asked, but felt like she'd already know the answer.

"Because your partners, you trust in each other in the heat of battle."

"She still won't trust me." Her eyes landing on the blonds own royal blue ." I lied to her and my other teammates about who I am and what I used to be and I don't blame her distrust. Who knows when she'll start trusting me again or if she ever will." Blake said.

"Just give Yang some time, she'll come around." Jaune said with his hand on her shoulder and kneeling down next to her, looking her in her amber eyes.

"Like you said, these things can be a threat and the last thing I'm going have this damn book do is put all of us in mortal danger like this. I can promise you that." Jaune said.

Blake only laughed off that comment. "Hehe like you have any control over this Jaune, I think you're a little too late on that one shining knight." Blake teased, she wanted to try and make levity of the situation they were in.

Jaune only chuckled out in defeat. "Oh well... it was worth a shot, am I right?" Which only made Blake shake her head and smile slightly, cheering up a little.

Blake went to sit up and stretch her body, popping her back and standing up and picking up Gambol Shroud from the forest floor. "Its getting late Jaune, you should get some sleep. I'm about to start my night patrol in a couple minutes and you should at least get some rest for the last shift." The cat faunus said.

"Don't need to twist my arm for that." Jaune chuckled out, he was really tired and some his sleeping bag was calling for him to land of dreams and the blond already knew another training session was in his future. "Just be careful out there, we got new threats that aren't anything like Grimm. I want you coming back in one piece, you hear?"

"I can handle myself, don't worry about me." Blake called out before walking towards the forest brush to start.

Jaune went towards the his tent that he said up and was about to go in...

"Jaune." Blake called out.

The knight looked towards the cat faunus and saw her give that beautiful warm smile hidden behind her usual emotionless facade.

"Thank you... for believing in me." Blake said,

He only let out a tired smile of his own, "Hey. What are friends for?"

With that said, Blake took off like a shadow in the night into the dark forest to start her patrol.

Jaune saw her figure disappear into the inky black forest. The light of the fire slowly dying into smoldering embers on the ground, the orange glow now dim to show how long the fire had been going.

"Stay safe Blake." Jaune thought, as he turned back towards his tent and got ready for bed, knowing that he was in for another rigorous training session with the Hero's Shade.

He removed his armor pieces, leaving himself in his jeans and Pumpkin Pete hoodie to at least feel a little bit more comfortable when he goes to sleep.

When getting underneath the tent and putting himself into the sleeping bag his thoughts were swirling in his head, but one always came up to his head every time.

"I have a feeling that things are going to get a lot harder now more than ever." His eyes were starting to fade as he closed his eyelids and saw nothing but darkness minutes later.

After that Jaune opened his eyes to his familiar dream arena with the Hero's Shade. The white and blue castle still standing tall in the distance to him, along with a certain familiar shrine behind him showing the symbol of the Triforce.

Standing in front of him, the armored warrior already looked ready for a spar. His right arm holding the rounded shield and left holding his sword.

"Greetings young Arc. Are you ready to continue your training?" The armored skeleton asked.

With that said to him, Jaune pulled out Crocea Mors and immediately readied himself into his trained stance. "Ready when you are." the blond knight replied back.

With bash of his sword to his shield, the old hero made himself heard from the loud clang. "Very good, let us see if you can continue your mastery of the Skyward Strike." The Shade shifted closer to the blond for their usual sparring. "If enough improvement is made today in your sparring... with recent thoughts and developments made by you, we will move on to the next hidden skill that you will learn." The Shade explained. That definitely got Jaune's motor running to get better. "We must move quickly. I have a feeling that you're heroic spirit will be tested soon."

"Alright! Then let's get started!" Jaune was ecstatic to learn another technique. The Skyward Strike was already a huge boon in his skill set, he couldn't wait to see what else is in store in the future. But that last comment has the blond knight nervous to what's to come.

"Don't get ahead of yourself boy." The warrior said with a little bit of smarm. "You still need to defeat me and show me your continued improvement on your first technique. Now let us commence our sparring." Making the knight deflate a little from that comment, but shook it off to show his determination to his teacher.

With both swordsmen near each other they both clashed their swords together, signaling the start of the duel.

(With Blake)

The cat faunus was conflicted right now, her thoughts swirled with many emotions, some good and others less pleasant as she moved back to the battlefield that herself, Pyrrha, and Yang fought in.

After everything was said at camp, her concerned went up tenfold when Yang didn't want to listen to her. How could she just ignore everything that was said!? She saw the damn Korok first for Oum's sake, she fought against those monsters first for cry out loud! How wasn't any of this Guardian information not getting through to her!

"I need to forge on ahead to where we are gonna go tomorrow, in case we find any of those 'rock formations' and avoid them at all cost. But first..."

She wanted to check that battlefield real quick because of the Deku Baba heads that were left there when they were killed. She remembered what that shopkeeper Keaton told her about the heads being intact and how they she could actually obtain Deku Nuts on the regular by cultivating them and exposing them to sunlight. They could be helpful of she had an abundant amount of the things.

"Couldn't hurt to check it out, plus there could be more of those monsters nearby." She thought.

Blake made it back to the battleground in a couple of minutes. To see that she was correct, seeing that some of those bulbs on the ground thanks to her faunus night vision. They were slightly larger than the items and a different color, probably because to the lack of exposure to sunlight to make them shrink.

She did however notice that the bodies of those Bulblins were still here, which definitely raises a question.

"Are they actually monsters?" There wasn't any traces of the Bokoblins or Skulltulas that they slain and the Babas only left the heads if they were decapitated. This was starting to get a little strange... these green goblins acted like monsters, but they still wouldn't disappear like the others.

Maybe these Bulblins... are an actual race of creatures instead of magically made like whatever those others were.

"But... that means... Yang and I..." This wasn't the first time that Blake had taken a life like this. Sure these Bulblins deserved to be kicked around when threatening that little Korok, but it still leaves a bad taste in her mouth.

These things... could of had lives, families, loved ones.

"Children." Blake thought of sadly as her head throbbed in pain. Her thinking reminded her of the some of the more dark times she was with the White Fang.

Horrible memories... leaving humans to suffer the wrath of Him.

She remembered that day... the day she wanted to leave the Fang for good, but couldn't.

The horrible screams of those humans... Blake was there, she just stood there and watched her leader take 'retribution' on a group of humans that didn't deserve that fate. They worked for the SDC sure, but it shouldn't warrant their deaths.

But her leader thought otherwise and what did she do in return?

Nothing... She let those people die, slaughtered by the man she used to look up to, the man she thought was a hero of faunus kind. The person that would lead the White Fang and Faunus to a new tomorrow, and change the society of Remnant to have their kind as equals to humans.

But she remembered her his harrowing speech, it was nothing that she wanted. Blake wanted peace and equality.

However Adam... wanted power and control.

"Let these people be an example Faunus Brothers and Sisters! The faunus will no longer bow and become sub servant to humans. We as faunus kind will be the dominate race in Remnant. For too long we have been trampled over by these filthy humans and our cries for equality ignored. No longer. This will be our first step! This will be our message this day that we are the superior race!" Blake felt the hate and anger that day in his speech, and the result horrified her when she saw what he did to those humans.

She didn't kill them, but the she left those victims to the vengeance of her former mentor. Blake wasn't the killer, but she definitely felt like she was pulling the trigger when she left them to their death or didn't speak out to her leader to stop this barbaric act. It didn't matter that they were part of the Schnee Dust Company, they were still people that had lives and families

And she just watched her mentor snuff out their lives...

She could still hear the screams and cries as Adam executed them, it still haunted her to this day when she had nightmares of that moment.

The cat faunus was absolutely slickened of that day, it woke her up from what the once proud organization became and what Adam truly was...

A monster...

And what did she do to stop this? Did she try to convince Adam that this way of thinking wasn't right? Did she try to stand up to become a shining example like her father to rally her faunus brothers and sisters to find a better way?

No. She ran away from it all.

Like a true coward! All she did was run from her problem. Blake ran away from what the Fang was becoming, instead of trying to be the change within and try to win the hearts and minds of her fellow faunus, she only proved to them that she was coward and to the other radical members that she was a traitor.

"You aren't a coward..."

Her form shivered in the night, while it wasn't cold right now. The chill of death was felt in her body, guilt was like a ton of bricks on her form.

She wanted the White Fang to finally stand up for themselves. To push the hate away from the humans and have her fellow brothers and sisters stand as equals in this world. Blake wanted humans and faunus to live together in peace and harmony, where they are both one people, that stand together in unity and mutual respect.

But you can't always get what you want in life...

Instead the 'respect' that Blake helped give with Adam's leadership made humans fear the faunus. They not only feared her race, overtime the emotions swirled into vitriol and hatred. These emotions made her feel like her dream of humans and faunus together in harmony and as equals seemed farther away then ever and she had no one to blame but herself.

She was a leader in the White Fang, her parents were shining examples of what it meant to be a leader and having the courage to stand up for what's right.

Blake didn't have any of those qualities, and in turn she led her parents organization into what it is today.

"Its all my fault." Tears started to fall from her face.

"No! Stop blaming yourself!" The previous voice in her head called out louder this time, but Blake just chalked it up to thought her losing grip.

She didn't know why she felt this way about these Bulblins, maybe it gave her painful reminders of what she has done under Adam and the now violent White Fang.

Her worries on the organization are now at the forefront of her mind because of this recent attack on the docks of Vale, with the biggest surprise that the once Faunus rights organization is partnered with Roman Torchwick and helping the criminal steal dust from the SDC and all across city of Vale.

Which is why after this project, she needed to find out where the White Fang is going to strike next to stop whatever they have planned. She couldn't afford to waste anymore time with this, once she helped out Jaune with his history project she is going to stop the White Fang from terrorizing and stealing from Vale.

It was her mess to clean up, there will be no one helping her this time around. She couldn't afford anyone else to get hurt or worse because of her past mistakes.

But this process... It made her feel isolated...

"I have to do this alone... No one else will get hurt because of my problems." Blake's thoughts felt like chaotic maelstrom.

But with all these self deprecating thoughts going through her, she heard a shout in the confine of her head.

"HEY! LISTEN TO ME!" Blake shot up in surprise, hearing the shout from the voice.

"Foolish girl! You really think you can stop those bullies all by yourself?" Blake's mind was still alerted, she reached for the handle of Gambol Shroud to be ready for an attack.

"You are much smarter than that! Especially if I choose you, and I'm usually always right according to my sisters!" The voice reverberated into her head like an echo, its like she heard the voice not only in her head but from the forest itself. The cat faunus might be going crazy because she just heard an Oum forsaken voice...

Someone else's thoughts that were not her own.

She looked around the area to see if anyone was talking to her or acknowledged her presence.

But she didn't see anyone the forest. No one was around and she doubted it was anyone from her group, if they were she would of probably picked up some footsteps or heard them coming.

"What... was that?" Blake's breathing picked up from that little scare. Whoever that was from the sound of her voice she sounded like a young teenage girl.

"Teehee... Much older than you though~" The melodic voice sang out, which caught Blake off guard once again. It felt like a little tickle was happening in her head, she didn't hear anyone call out in the night of the Emerald Forest.

"Hello! Is anyone out here!" She shouted out, hoping to hear a response out here in the forest. But after a few minutes of waiting Blake only heard the sounds of the bugs and wildlife out in the open.

"I must be losing it..." The cat faunus thought as she shook her head. All of these thoughts about the White Fang must be getting to her that she's hearing things, the first thing she was going to do when her shift was done is get some good rest.

To help her fleeting sanity Blake decided to focus on something else, she'll focus on the fang later. For now, gathering the rest of the deku baba heads were a priority. Blake collected ten more in total on the ground. Giving her a grand total of 15 Deku Nuts total when she sunned out the other ten.

With her scavenging done she gave one last look towards the two corpses of the Bulblins, before she took off back towards the camp. After another hour she made it back towards the site, with her baba bounty in hand. She decided to leave the other ten heads she took and went to scout ahead to where the group was going tomorrow. In case they run into any of the hibernating Guardians.

It was better for her to do this anyways, she could look out for the potential dangers and put them on the map on her scroll. There was no debating about this, she was going to help in anyway she can. Yang didn't believe in this new threat, well that didn't matter to her.

The cat faunus looked at her scroll and where she set the waypoint towards the clearing. She'll find the best path to follow for the team to make sure everyone gets there safely.

Blake failed to help save the White Fang from falling into the darkness, but she will be damned if she was going to fail her new friends here!

With her determination set, Blake set off towards the northwestern part of the forest.

Desperate to keep her friends safe from harm...

"I hope you can... my chosen one.." The girl whispered out one final time.

(Morning, 10:00 AM)

The sun was rising in the sky as team JPBY followed Blake along the set path towards their destination, the faunus double checking her scroll to make sure they were on the path she mapped out.

"Blake, are sure this is the right way?" Jaune spoke as he moved another tree branch from hitting him.

"This is the best path to take, trust me." Blake pointed out. The group followed the cat faunus along her pointed path. Blake was up front this time, guiding everyone through her set path, with Jaune and Pyrrha followed along closely, making sure they don't lose the cat faunus in the forest brush and bringing up the rear was an exhausted looking Yang from her lack of beauty sleep, the brawler yawned out and smacking her lips.

Blake was glad that she took first watch, her scouting ahead last night led her to find hidden Guardians around the area. With her excellent sneaking skills and faunus night vision, the faunus teen easily spotted familiar looking rock formations that everyone had been pointing out around them yesterday and used those clues to her advantage when pointing out where those deadly machines were.

When all was said and done. Blake counted six of those rock formations near their path, with another few back from where they traveled yesterday during the drop off. With the time that she was out during her watch she wasn't able map out the whole area, but enough to make sure they avoided the formations.

"Lead the way Blake, I'm sure that we'll get to the clearing soon." Jaune said out loud with a smile on his face.

But all the acknowledgement he got was a loud grumble from Yang.

The Mistrialian champion was too busy reading the Book of Mudora in her hands to say anything. She decided to look at some different monsters that were in the book. Call her curious, but Pyrrha wanted to be ready for anything if they happen to run into any other weird creatures that she's never seen before. The book was definitely informative on each of the creatures she's checked out.

Some were an interesting sort, like Chu-Chu's, Deku Scrubs, and strange little creatures called Peahats that could fly in the air. Others were actually pretty rough customers like the Lizalfos knights and their tougher counterparts Dynalfos and Aeralfos, Moblins, and even the terrifying knights called Darknuts. Those monsters seemed like they could cause some problems if their group ever came across those creatures as the book states that they have experiences with all times of different weapons

Then she saw the more... horrifying creatures of the bunch.

"I pray to all mighty Oum that I never get swallowed by a Like-Like." The red haired girl only shivered at the thought of being in something like that. Those monsters would digest any kind of item and strangle the person it decided to swallow.

Getting eaten alive sounded like a horrible way to die back then, especially if they never expected it.

Wanting to get those morbid thoughts out of her mind, she decided to go back to her reading on Zora culture, needing a palate cleanser and wanting to repress what she just read about Like Like's.

However not everyone's was feeling very excited right now.

Yang grumbled to herself in frustration from this path they were taking. Instead of a straight shot path that they insisted they were going to use, Blake thought that there was a shortcut that was going to cut down the time of their arrival at the clearing.

Well it didn't feel 'short' at all in her eyes, as she shielded her face from the harsh sun that has now risen high in the sky and brushed away another branch that almost hit her in the face.

When the four teens finished up their night shifts and woke up early in the morning, they made quick work in packing all of the camping equipment. It was mostly a silent affair thanks to last nights shouting match during dinner. The nightshifts for each of the group however were... interesting to say the least.

Yang felt like her shift bored her to tears, there were no grimm or those weird looking enemies in the area that she could see. Which meant that she couldn't fight anything to let out her frustration from that argument.

Not like she could with how dark the forest got anyways, she'd probably be fighting blind and wasting ammo trying to hit something with how dark the forest got.

With all of that idle time she did the only thing that bored people did when nothing happened.

Thinking.

The brawler thought back to the argument and was second guessing herself. When she went to that clearing yesterday she knew she saw something, it wasn't an animal, the creature could talk, and was made of wood. Along with that weird little guy was these nasty creatures that she'd never seen before.

Maybe her teammate was telling the truth?

"No! There's just no way. It can't be true... Could it?" those thoughts muddled her mind all night when she went to sleep. Thoughts of this '5th kingdom' plaguing her mind and eating at her. Anything was possible right? So the possibility could be there.

Yang's thoughts went to Blake's warning of those guardians... She did admit that those robots did look pretty tough, but like she said their teams have taken on some big grimm that would be too much for the average first year Huntsmen and Huntresses.

So they should be fine! There's no reason that Blake should of been getting worked up.

Her thoughts went back to her partner and what she said before. The words she said to Blake last night... they were uncalled for. The brawler really regretted saying that and she needed to apologize sooner or later to her partner. Team RWBY said they would of helped her with these issues and her she was throwing those faults back in her face.

As for Jaune... She kind of wanted to apologize to him as well. Jaune knew that she was out of line for those spiteful words and was glad that he defended her teammate.

However she was still a bit pissed for that smartass remark he said to her...

"Ok... maybe I won't rough him up too bad. I'll just avoid his face." Yang whispered out.

All in all, Yang Xiao Long wasn't having the best of mornings and she needed to make for a lot of things she said.

Jaune and Pyrrha's shift was not very special either. As both were silently watching the outskirts of their camp together and not seeing any grimm in sight. No Beowolf, Ursa, or any kind of grimm anywhere, not even a little Rapier Wasp.

A boring night watch shift for the last pair.

However Pyrrha's boredom wasn't all for naught as she watched her partner do some much needed self training that looked... interesting.

The red haired spartan girl noticed that Jaune was a bit more active in doing some kind of sword training in the forest. She watched his progress from afar, looking to see he was practicing certain sword combos that she hadn't seen before. Certain combos looked familiar from the sparring matches that her leader had with Cardin and Dove, but others seemed unorthodox. But what did look like new training was the blonde knight thrusting his shield out a bunch of times.

It looked like it was just Jaune practicing using a shield bash, maybe learning something like parrying, the motions left him breathless and she did notice a slight dip in his aura levels. The red haired girl was slightly concerned about his condition, but he reassured her and said it was: "A brand new technique his trainer taught him".

When she trained to be a fighter in the her tournaments, parrying another opponents attacks was always a smart move, but it was definitely risky. You ran the risk of getting hit for a possible chance of attacking your opponent, sure Pyrrha used her Semblance to make her opponents off balance during her fights in the ring. But using her parrying skills with her weapons were always the hardest things to do in training with her teachers, especially during her tournament years when there were many skilled fighters that were gunning for her. One false move could tip the balance if you deflect the incorrectly or are too late.

So seeing Jaune practice some shield techniques only made her more proud of her partners advancement, but she still had some lingering thoughts about his practicing.

"Why was his aura going down when using it?" Pyrrha thought as she continued to walk along, reading an interesting part in the book about more Zora culture, the section said they played instruments with certain fish bones and other shells for music, most likely for cultural festivals and other celebrations.

However what had her curious was she noticed something peculiar with his shield. It had a familiar bluish glow like his sword when it let off that energy attack during Combat Training class. Pyrrha also saw that the shield only got brighter when he started thrusting the Crocea Mors shield forward, giving off this pulsing glow outwards.

"I wonder if that's his semblance?" Jaune and Pyrrha had tried to figure out his semblance since they began his training, it really bothered Jaune that he couldn't figure out what his semblance was, like a part of him that was missing from his life. Most of the students that were at Beacon already knew what there Semblances were or had figured out what they could do, but with Jaune's everyone on his team along with their sister team were slightly curious of what it could be and what kind of usage it could have.

The process frustrated the blond knight, Pyrrha knew he wanted to figure it out to become more of a contribution to the team. But she knew that Semblances usually take time for certain Huntsmen and Huntresses to unlock, and reassured him that she would assist in anyway she could to unlock the secrets to whatever kind of power he had.

Footsteps were the only noise that the four travelers made during their trip, but the boredom definitely decided to set in and the most thrown around phrase was finally uttered.

"Are we there yet?" Yang decided to ask the navigator of their merry band, while she did appreciate the forest and all it had to offer, it was getting a bit repetitive with how much trees they have seen. Sure its called the 'Emerald Forest', but for crying out loud there had to be something else other than endless woodlands.

"No." Blake said, she didn't even look up from her scroll as she continue to forge ahead, which only made the blond girl pout. Jaune noticed that Yang seemed a bit troubled from last night and this morning.

"Time to cheer her up a bit." The knight hatching his scheme.

"Are we there yet Blake?" Jaune said with a cheeky grin, winking at a surprised Yang. To which the brawler lilac eyes widened in surprise, she thought that he'd still be a little upset with that little spat they had last night.

"No. Yang literally asked me that a few seconds ago, what makes you think that changed?" she continued to observe the map on her scroll, seeing one of the landmarks she made with a big 'X' on it.

"Well that's no biggie Blake, it seemed like the Purrfect time to ask." Jaune quipped which made Yang start giggling from the dumb pun and Blake feel a headache coming on.

"Oum why Jaune! Why are you doing this now." Blake felt betrayed by her friend, he was starting to go to the dark side of humor and using the most evil kind of humor.

Horrible puns...

Yang started to grin now, her mood better from what it was before. "Yeah Blakey, we just needed to ask. Some of us have been having a rough Meowring." the faunus only groaned out from the horrible wordplay.

"Pleeaassse stop..." Blake groaned out.

"Yeah guys, cut it out." Pyrrha said.

"Thank you Pyrrha, at least some people of the restraint." The faunus girl was glad to have someone on her side.

"Its not our fault that she not feline it." she giggled out lamely, to which she was high fived by Yang, the blond in question letting out a whoop of happiness.

"Good one P-Money!" Yang giggled out.

"Ok its official they are all dead to me." Blake thought with large amount of deadtone, as the last bastion of sanity was gone for her.

"Soooo Blake... Are we there now?" The knight continued on his tirade, which only made the faunus girl more upset from the question he literally asked a few seconds ago.

"Look, we still have a few hours go before we get to the clearing that we are at. So please stop asking." Blake's tone started to get a little prickly, which caused Yang to snicker slightly and Pyrrha to silently giggle as Jaune was getting a death glare from Blake for his pestering. The sole male in question raised his hands in defeat from her outburst.

"We are nearly towards a landmark in this area that I found last night way out here in the forest. Once we get to it'll be an hour max before we reach our destination. So no more asking 'Are we there yet', Got it?" Blake explained in a snappy tone, quieting everyone. The group decided to not talk for a few minutes because of that little angry tirade from the faunus.

Pyrrha however, was still a bit curious to what Blake was talking about. "What is this landmark we are looking for Blake?" Pyrrha turned the page of the book as she asked. When she said that however, Blake didn't acknowledge the red haired girl with a verbal response. Instead she stopped suddenly and put up her hand to halt the other three.

"Blake? Is everything alright?" though she didn't answer Jaune's question. The others followed where the Faunus girl was going, only to stop when she went through another set of bushes and didn't come back for a few seconds.

The rest of the crew was a bit concerned for the sudden stop and Blake not saying anything. Only to see the Faunus girls hand come out from the bush and gestured the others to follow through with her.

Pyrrha, Jaune, and Yang went through the bushes. Curious as to why they went through this part of the forest. "Better to show you guys instead of explaining, because we are here." Everyone observed what she found and it definitely mystified the others.

The landmark in question was a large stone platform that was out of ground. The platform looked very detailed as it had the symbol of Bombos on it with the swirls, signifying it had something to do with the item.

"Whoa..." That was the other three could say, but after the shock Pyrrha got her scroll out to take a picture of the stone platform. She wanted to take it because of the significance of Jaune's case to Professor Oobleck. Sure it wasn't physical evidence but it definitely showed off one of the items that was in Jaune's history book and if they came away empty handed, perhaps these pictures could save Jaune from failing.

Jaune was surely surprised by Blake's find here, he knew that Bombos symbol from the book. "Blake... How did you find this thing?" The knight was touching the stone, it felt like this thing had barely been touched by the elements. The rock felt smooth, like it was crafted only a couple days ago.

"This was during my patrol. I was scouting out a better way get to the clearing that we were going to and I found this while finding the path." Blake explained. "I was shocked just like you guys were when I found this, but this just adds on proof that the pictures and history of the book is real." Blake explained as she looked back at her map to check her next step to leading everyone to their objective.

"This doesn't prove anything, it could be a fake." Yang only shook her head at that, she really wanted Blake to snap out of this history book nonsense, but even the brawler is having a hard time discrediting their find.

"Its just a stone platform." Yang scoffed, "Someone could of made this out here for posterity sake."

"I don't know Yang..." Jaune replied. "We've seen this Bombos symbol in the book." The knight pointed to the middle of the platform, pointing out the very same symbol. "Who's to say we haven't stumbled on some old Hyrulian history?"

But the sunny dragon girl wasn't convinced yet, "How do we know this isn't a hoax? We could be getting punked by someone." Yang said.

"Who would be willing to go this far to prank us?" Pyrrha questioned.

"I don't know... People that hate Huntsmen and Huntresses? Team CRDL? Roman Torchwick? The possibility could be endless here!" Yang countered. "The point is that this doesn't prove anything yet in my eyes." Which got only Blake and Jaune to sigh in disappointment.

"Well... if that's the case then we should probably continue." Pyrrha suggested, getting the other three to nod their head at that response.

"Alright... then we'll continue to head towards our destination." The cat faunus explained, "We are more than half way from the item's location, so it shouldn't take more than 2 hours. We need keep going Northwest now, so let's move out!" The faunus girl went back into the brush with Pyrrha following behind.

However Jaune was still a bit hesitant to continue, causing the brawler to stop and look at her frozen blond companion.

"Yo lover boy let's get moving!" She shouted out, but Jaune just continued to look outward towards the forest. "Jaune? You alright?" Yang shook his shoulder, which finally got the swordsman out of his trance.

Jaune only shook his head from that little wake up call. "Sorry about that Yang... I'm just... worried that something might happen."

"Like what?"

"I'm still concerned that we haven't met any Grimm out here, its just unnerving is all." Jaune scratched the back of his head, "We haven't seen any since we've arrived in this part of the Emerald Forest, and we didn't see any during our night watches." That definitely bugged the brawler as well, but she didn't want to say anything about it. Mostly because they would have mentioned the monsters that they fought last night in that clearing.

"We might just be in a low populated area of Grimm bud, so quit worrying. You know us lovely ladies got your back." Yang just patted his shoulder, then went down to his arms and squeezed his arms.

"I'm not sure..." Jaune said, he just couldn't help feel this way.

"Well I am sure how about that?" Yang rebuttal that statement. "You need to stop worrying bud. We've all had situations that have gone a little hairy, shit initiation was one of them. But we all came out on top in the end right?"

"Yeah.. maybe I'm just overreacting."

"Damn right you are! Now let's get a move on." Yang said, " Hell maybe this time around you can show us your moves against these scary monsters Ladykiller." Giving her fellow blond a saucy grin, causing Jaune cheeks to dust a little pink feeling her touch his muscular arm and feel him up. But the blond brawler was just as surprised to feel those muscles, she thought Jaune was still a noodle. But apparently his body has really done some beefing up.

"Damn! Jauney here really has been hitting the gym!" Yang thoughts turned against her as she thought of Jaune's bulging arms, her cheeks lighting up a bit of thinking of another 'muscle' that he might have hidden on him.

"I'd love to see our big, strong man handle business now against those mean ole grimm~" Yang seductively whispered in his ear, her breath a little hot from riling herself up.

"Jaune, Yang! Come on we need to get a move on!" Pyrrha shouted out, causing both of them to separate from each other.

"L-Let's just catch up with the others." Jaune stuttered out, making Yang laugh from getting him flustered.

"Oh well... it was fun while it lasted." She walked towards the bushed first with Jaune slightly behind her, leaving the stone platform clearing. All was quiet for a few seconds from the covered forest area.

However once any trace of them was gone, a certain rustling happened in the bushes that Jaune was looking at. Out of the ground came out a small creature that was made of wood with a snout and bushes covering its head. Its orange eyes looking towards where the group of four just left towards and it only shook its head.

"Those humans are insane." The deku scrub said silently, knowing the horrors that was towards the Northwest clearing.

(2 hours later)

The trek was not met with anymore complications or detours when they traveled towards their destination.

Everyone was feeling a little bit exhausted from the sun shining on them, and the traveling. But other than slight exhaustion they carried on.

"Ok stop for a few minutes, I need to explain some information to you." Blake ordered as she showed her scroll to the others, pointing towards the Bombos symbol towards the open area. "We've reached the objective, beyond these last trees we'll be where we need to be."

"So what are we waiting for?" Pyrrha questioned.

"Well... Deklu explained to me that there will be numerous amounts of Guardians, Armos Knights, and Guardian Scouts in this area, so we're gonna try to be..." Blake would have finished her sentence if she could.

But the faunus girl saw Yang just walk past her, making her way out of the trees.

"Wait Yang damnit! I told you to wait, we have to be careful otherwise we could run into..." As she and the others chased after her.

Blake would of finished her sentence, but when she looked towards the clearing she was shocked to what she saw.

"Nothing?" The cat faunus eyes widened in surprise. The brawler in question looked unimpressed from the whole place they finally made it to.

The clearing they made it to had patches of dirt spread across the land, but it was mostly lush grass around the areas that was mostly foot deep.

But the biggest shock was...

"There's... nothing here." Blake was definitely the most shocked of the group.

"Wow... I'm so scared." Yang deadpanned.

"That's impossible... was Deklu really telling me the truth? Why would he lie to me about this?" This just didn't seem right. He explained that there would be a ton of these machine monsters, and yet she didn't see any of them here at all. No sign of those weird rock formations or any sign of machinery.

"What's really going on here." Blake muttered out, thinking of any kind of explanation.

However the cat faunus wasn't the only one to think that. The knight of the group was a bit more skeptical about all of this. It just seemed too fishy that there's this open clearing with nothing in sight here.

"Well if there isn't anything dangerous here, maybe we can find what Jaune is looking for faster." Pyrrha said, as she continued to gaze at the book of Mudora. "Huh strange..." When the red haired girl flipped to a new page of the book, she couldn't really read the text. It looked like a different language entirely, something she never seen before, and she's seen different languages like old Valean, Western Mistralian, and even some of the old dialect in Menagerie that she studied in case she went into any tournaments on the faunus island homeland.

However she never seen this kind of text before in any of the history books.

"Yeah let's get going. Maybe we'll find what you're looking for loverboy." With that said, Yang and Pyrrha proceeded, with Jaune about to follow suit. However he stopped when he saw Blake not moving and just looking conflicted. While he would ask her what she's thinking about, they needed to stick together right now. They were in uncharted territory here.

"Hey Blake come on. We need to make sure those two don't get in any trouble." Jaune said, breaking her out of her thinking, taking off towards their companions.

When the group traveled towards the middle of the open grassland they noticed nothing threatening was here. No grimm in sight, nor was there any of those Guardians that Blake was told.

"Talk about a let down... No wonder they call these landform plains, cause its plain as hell at here." Yang joked which only caused the others to groan out.

However Yang was definitely spot on with that call. Not a single hill or bump was out here. It was odd to see the land so flat, considering they were just traveling in a forest chalked full of mountain like rocks, a sea of healthy trees, and flowing rivers.

Only to come to this gigantic plain looking grasslands after all is said and done? No noticeable landmark, not an interesting thing or whatever their objective was in sight.

"Well... this was disappointing." Jaune sighed out, it seemed that he might have to go back to his Professor empty handed if there wasn't anything out here. He really hopes their was something else he could do to prove him otherwise.

"Hold on... Do you see that over there?" Blake was a little more observant as she saw something in the distance, squinting her amber eyes to see what the thing was, the shadow of the object got her curiosity as she walked towards the area, the others not far behind. While there was no machinery that was foretold by the Korok for the cat faunus. With some burning curiosity they traveled towards the mass that was sticking out of the ground.

When finally getting to said object, the group had more questions than answers.

"What is that?" Pyrrha was

The figure in question was a huge green tablet, sticking out of the ground as the only noticeable landmark in the grassy fields. It stood out like a sore thumb in the land. Over towering the Huntsmen-in-training team.

Blake cautiously got closed to the tablet, noticing right away that this tablet... was pretty archaic. There was dust all over the tablet, moss was growing everywhere on this piece of stone making the the giant tablet more green than it already was.

"So we found a big old rock. Good job everyone." Yang said sarcastically, noticing that no one laughed at the little jab as Jaune was still feeling down from his situation, Pyrrha was nose deep into that stupid fake history book, and her partner was still observing the big green tablet to find anything useful from it. This just felt like a waste of time in her opinion.

However, something in the back of head told her otherwise. Yang didn't know why, but the more she looked at this stone tablet, the more worried she became.

Usually the Yang Xiao Long isn't really scared of anything, the blond left those fears behind when she was growing up. The blond was always trying to become a strong role model for her sister Ruby, to show her how to be bastion of strength when they were growing up. Stand up to whatever challenge or bullies by example by beating them up.

She felt that nothing could frighten her! The brawler was fearless! Never backing down from anything, no matter how tough!

But now... she wasn't so sure with this thing.

"Its just a stupid stone! But why do I feel my whole body is about to tremble." She could just feel this nervous energy.

It just feels weird for some reason. Being in close proximity to this tablet feels like there's a certain pressure around this area. The heaviness of this pressure just feels a little nerve wracking. Like something is about to jump out at them or something.

The brawler still observed Blake looking at the giant slab, then noticed her partner put her hands on the tablet to check out the front. "Careful now kitty kat. You don't know where that thing has been." Yang jokingly said, hoping that cat faunus would just back away from whatever the hell this thing is.

"I know its been in the ground for the past couple of centuries." Blake snarked back at the brawler. As she softly wiped her hand on the front of the green rocky tablet to get rid of some of the dust and moss. After a bit of wiping, the faunus girl started to notice something engraved at the front.

"Huh.. strange." Blake said aloud, getting the attention of everyone.

"What is it Blake?" Jaune went to get closer to see what she uncovered.

Blake only squinted at what she saw right in front of her. "There's text of a certain language that is on this tablet..." she said as she kept swiping to clean the tablet of moss. When she uncovered the next engraving on the mysterious rock, she let out a small gasp that no one noticed.

"So what does it say?" Yang said, but didn't get response back from her partner, because of what she just uncovered.

There sitting down below the text, was an eye crying a single teardrop. Blake recognized that symbol when she was reading the story about the Hero of Time, as it has been all across the history of Hyrule

It was the Crest of the Sheikah. The mark of the Sheikah clan that had been part of the royal family, the protectors of Hyrule, but more importantly...

The creators of the Guardians and Armos Knights machines.

But there was definitely something wrong with this picture.

"What were they doing here?" Blake would of thought that they would be only protecting their kingdom and the royal family. But it seems that they had other plans because they were in Vale's area with having this tablet being here, this giant tablet being here shows that their influence could have been anywhere in the kingdom of Vale. Especially with the threat of the Guardians being throughout all of the Emerald Forest. Maybe during those years the machines started attacking the other kingdoms? Perhaps the Sheikah were trying to extend in olive branch and have Guardians protect certain parts of other kingdoms for other favors?

All of this thinking just left more questions than answers for Blake. But one thing is for certain, this spelled out big trouble for the other kingdoms case.

"Hellloooo... Remnant to Blake are you with us? What does the big important rock say?" Yang seeing that at least something was happening now, getting the cat faunus out of her thoughts, finally focusing on what the text were saying on the tablet, only to the realize a big issue.

She didn't understand what kind of language this was...

"I...I don't what it says." Blake was definitely confused, the text on the tablet. Whatever kind of language it was the cat faunus definitely didn't understand a word of it, nor does it look familiar to her in the slightest. "This language looks unfamiliar to me, and I don't think I've ever seen any language like this in our history books." The faunus finished out. She's seen all kinds of languages and text from the other kingdoms, Western Mistralian, South Vacuoan, hell even her own people in Menagerie have a different language that was used in the old days and she knew what that was on books.

But this? She had no idea what this was. The text looked like hieroglyphs, with a sharp ending to each word. The symbols however were the only thing that she could read. The Crest of the Sheikah, The Bombos Medallion Symbol, and last but not least...

The symbol of The Triforce.

"Let us take a look at Blake. Maybe I can figure out what it is." Jaune said. She moved out of the way as Jaune moved to get a better look at the tablet.

"Jaune what are you talking about? This feels like a waste of time. What the hell are we gonna achieve by looking at a stupid tablet that we can't understand?" Yang questioned as she observed the knight looking frantically on the tablet for... something to find.

"Maybe we can find that medallion I'm searching for... I'm sure as hell not about to give up though." Yang only sighed out from his stubbornness. While his determination is a redeeming quality, it can definitely be a pain in the ass to convince someone like that otherwise.

Blake stepped away from another budding argument as her partner tried to tell Jaune that there might not be anything worth value here. While those two were talking to each other, Blake still had another problem that she was working out on her own, and that was the info that she was told.

"Why did Deklu lie to me?" She thought the small Korok was telling the truth about these machines being in this area, telling her and the others to watch out for these dangerous foes. But yet when they got to the clearing, nothing was in sight. "Maybe he was wrong..." No, that didn't make sense, something didn't add up here. Why would he tell her to be careful of an area, when there would be nothing there.

However while the cat faunus was trying to figure out her problems, she noticed that their last member of the group was still looking into the Book of Mudora and not moving an inch from her spot. She knew Pyrrha had been reading the book all morning, and she was still surprised that she's still reading away. Blake was grateful at least that Pyrrha was giving the book a chance instead of calling BS like her punch happy partner.

But that enthusiastic feeling started to die as Blake could hear muttering from the red haired champion, similar to what Jaune was doing when he found the Book of Mudora.

What Blake was hearing sounded like she was speaking a different language she never heard before, it definitely wasn't English that's for sure.

"Pyrrha? Are you ok?" Blake said out to get her attention, but was promptly ignored as the champion kept muttering in a different language. Concerned for the girl and getting certain bad memories from when Jaune started his muttering spree.

She rushed over towards her to shake her out of her trance. When she went over and saw what had the girl so focused on the book, she only got more frightened to see her emerald eyes glazed over, but her amber colored eyes widened in shock as she saw the same ancient text that was on the tablet were in the Book of Mudora. She tried to pry the book from her hands, but the red haired girl had a death grip that wouldn't let go of the thing.

The cat faunus saw that Pyrrha didn't even notice her presence as she continue to read and speak in the ancient tongue like a possessed zombie. "Pyrrha. Can you hear me?" Blake shook the red haired girl, but she didn't stop speaking. In fact her muttering started to get louder, her voice turning from muttering to speaking out loud. The book in her hand started to faintly glow its signature light blue. Making the faunus girl start to panic a little from what the book is doing.

"Jaune, Yang! I think something is wrong with Pyrrha. It might be something with the book!" Getting the attention of both blondes. Jaune's eyes immediately saw the state his partner was in and how the book is glowing blue.

"Pyrrha!" Jaune ran towards his partner, with Yang coming over to help out as well. The knight knew it was the book that was doing this and proceeded to smack the book out of the spartan girls hands. But just like Blake, she kept a tight grip on the book. "Come on Pyr snap out of it! Let go of the book!" Jaune shouted out.

The cereal girl only kept speaking louder, concerning everyone around her by not acknowledging any of them and only focusing on the ancient text.

"What the hell is going on!?" Yang said to her partner as she noticed the glow of the book getting brighter.

"Its the book! I couldn't get it out of hands!" Blake explained with a terrified look on her face. "We have to stop her before... something bad happens!" Blake and Jaune kept trying to pry the book from her hands together, but it was a wasted effort.

However Yang had an idea that could work out, she didn't think it was safe, but the brawler was willing to try anything and definitely save Pyrrha from whatever was happening to her.

"HEY!" Yang shouted to both Blake and Jaune, "Stand back you two! I'm gonna shoot that book out of her hands!" Yang activated Ember Celica, her gauntlets were ready to fire.

"WHAT?! Yang are you insane you're going to hit Pyrrha!" Jaune looked at the other blond like she had a second head. Hearing his partner in question, shouting out the ancient tongue and the book getting to a bright white color, the magical aura coming out in full force from Pyrrha's reading of the book.

"She can take the shot! We just need to get that damn book out of her hands!" Yang countered back.

"No! I won't let you hurt Pyrrha or destroy the book!" Jaune said as he got into the brawlers line of fire.

"Oum damnit Jaune stop being stupid! Don't you want to save your partner!?" While the two blonds begin to argue, they don't notice the green tablet start to glow the bluish color the book was. The ancient text part of the stone starting to glow a white color. Blake being the observant one of the group is shocked to see all of this happening.

"Jaune! Yang!"

"What!" They both turned around towards the faunus girl.

"The tablet is glowing!" Blake pointed towards the green stone.

As she said that, Pyrrha had finally shouted the last of her readings, with recognizable words for everyone.

"AWAKEN! DARK PALACE OF HYRULE!"

Suddenly a shockwave of magic followed the end of the reading. The source coming from the Book of Mudora to knock the spartan girl off her feet. She let out a cry of shock as she got sent flying, making her drop the glowing book to the ground on the open pages of the ancient language of Hyrule.

"PYRRHA!" The others shouted in concern as she was sent flying.

Pyrrha's body slid until she ended up next to Blake. The cat faunus immediately checked on the the red haired girl to make sure she was alright. Jaune not far behind as he ran toward both of the girls.

The girl in question only shook her head slowly. "What happened?" The girl said, her eyes still feeling a bit hazy from that experience.

"You ok Pyrrha?" Blake said.

"Yeah... I think I'm ok." Pyrrha shook her head, her green eyes finally focusing to see what was going on. "Wait... where's the book?" She saw the item in question glowing a bright blue color on the ground, "How did it get there?" She questioned Blake.

"You don't remember?" Jaune said to her, which only got the girl to shake her head. "Pyr, you were speaking in this weird language that we've never heard before."

"What? I'd think I would remember that Jaune." The girl gave her partner a skeptical look.

"Its true. You were holding the book, and you started speaking in this weird language. Then the book was glowing a strange blue color." Blake recalled to the Mistral champion, which only shocked her as the three continue to see the Book of Mudora to glow in magical energy.

Suddenly dark, grey clouds started to surround the sky, covering up the bright sun suddenly.

Yang finally made her way towards the source of their headache and cocked Ember Celica, taking aim at the book.

"Wait Yang NO!" Jaune shouted out.

The sound of her weapons went off. The brawler ignored his shout as she fired her gauntlets at the offending item. Yang kept discharging her shotgun gauntlets at the book until there was a huge dust cloud covering the area.

She relented felt like she spent like nine or ten shotgun shells on the thing, panting slightly from the effort. "There. Now that stupid book won't be bothering us anymore." The announcement made Jaune a bit upset. That book had one of the only leads to his history of the Arc legacy.

Now the thing was probably in pieces thanks to Yang's hot headed thinking.

The blond in question only dusted her hands and smiled. "Well that takes care of..." She would of finished her sentence, but her lilac eyes widened in disbelief. Because from the dust that she created, the Book of Mudora did not have a scratch...

"No way..." Jaune breathed out, the book should of been pieces of paper scattered from the attack. Blake and Pyrrha were surprised to see the book fully intact. The weather now took a nasty turn as lightning started to crackle in the sky startling everyone because of the drastic change. The once peaceful weather now turning nasty.

However Yang didn't care as she was readying her gauntlets again to fire on the dreaded book, eyes red in anger.

"This time this piece of shit book is really gonna become ashes!" Readying her gauntlets, she went to take aim once again.

However a bolt of lighting hit where Yang was, shocking her with the strong millions of volts. She screamed out in pain as she was struck, her aura taking the hit and blowing her off her feet.

"Yang!" Blake yelled out to her partner, with Jaune rushing towards his fallen friend worried about her safety.

"Are you alright?" Jaune asked the dazed brawler, shaking her head from the strike.

But she only stared at the book in question, becoming shocked at what was happening in front of her.

The Book Of Mudora started to rumble in place, the aura of magic growing around the piece of literature like an out of control fire.

Then... all hell started to break loose.

White energy started to shoot out of the book and into the sky, like a beacon of light shining to show where they were in the world of Remnant. Everyone was in shock as the text of the book became physical as the light surrounded the text and started to come out of the book. Like a flowing wave, the text was made of that same light energy, flowing off the pages and making its way towards the green stone tablet. The white text began entering the stone tablet, surrounding the stone in the white energy. As it started to shake and crumble from the amount of magical energy flowing through it.

The surge started overwhelm the tablet, causing the ground around the team and the ancient stone to start shaking.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING!" Jaune shouted out, but was too busy trying to balance himself as the ground shook violently around them. He didn't get an answer from Blake or Pyrrha as they tried to balance themselves to make sure they didn't fall from the tremors and earthquake aftershocks.

The area around them started to glow a blinding white, too bright for any of them to see.

Everyone shielded their eyes, as the light from the tablet was too bright for them to see, stealing their vision from them as the trembling of the earth continued.

(Vale, Unknown Location)

The building was part of the city of Vale, close to the shopping district.

It had the signs 'Under Construction', keeping people and authorities away from this ordinary building.

On the inside, it would look as if was a normal house. Ready for the next resident to move into the wonderful kingdom of Vale.

However... If one were familiar with magic, they would see through this optical illusion. As the house is full of items of alchemy, sorcery, other practices of the dark magic. Bottles and jars of certain organisms and parts of monsters littered the shelfs. The crafting desk had powder and other beakers of liquid scattered around the practitioner's desk. The would never come off of the desk no matter how many times a person would wipe it down. Showing the amount of times the person practicing used the table.

The person in question was a man in olive green robes, pointed brown boots and matching brown gloves covering his hands, his whole head was covered by a head dress with a gem across the middle, a mask covering his whole mouth, and the only thing visible of his person is his terrifying white eyes.

The man in question was looking through a book called The Tome of Resurrection, frantically searching for some kind of spell.

"It must be here somewhere... We must find something to help our lord before it is too late." The sorcerer said.

Suddenly he began to feel something.

Whatever this feeling was... it felt ancient... like something has awaken from its long slumber.

"Its...magic..." The figure said, with that revelation learned the robed man started to chuckle to himself softly, before going into hysterical fit of laughter from the situation.

Finally! Someone has awaken magic from the Hyrulian age! He could feel it in the air! It made his whole body tingly, it filled the sorcerer with a giddy feeling, along with a new sensation.

Hope.

Hope to resurrect his lord to take his rightful place as the ruler of all of this world! Hope for the future of the Gerudos and all of their kind!

Hope for the new era of paradise!

"Finally... Lord Ganondorf will rise once more! So say his instrument of chaos: Agahnim!" The figure raised his hands in the air, letting out a dark laughter echoing around the city of Vale. "I will carve out this world in his name, and no fake heroes like these Huntsmen's or these weak pathetic evil Grimm will stop me from honoring the true king of evil! We will find the magic we need to bring our lord back from the great beyond! So say I as the one of the lord's chosen instruments!" The wizard continued to rant, before raising his hands in the air in his excitement.

"All hail King Ganondorf!" The dark sorcerer Agahnim chanted, his hands crackling with dark electricity.

Ganon's resurrection plan... has begun.

And scene!

Wow... Sorry this took so long guys!

I've had some setbacks with this chapter, mostly because of work and some power outages. But at least this one is done for now.

So with that said, we have our first Zelda villain revealed: Agahnim. Now for those who have played Link To The Past, yes I know people see Agahnim as an alter ego for Ganon and they are one and the same. For this story, I wanted Agahnim to be the first of our villains to 'show' himself. He hasn't revealed himself to public Vale. But with this latest development that he is feeling, he will be on the move.

Where will the evil sorcerer go? Well... your gonna have to stick around and find out.

And the group is now to our first dungeon destination: The Dark Palace.

Yes I decided to use the Book Of Mudora as like an unlocking key to finally unveil the secrets of Hyrule. I mean in lore it does find the three Medallions for Link in LTTP, but I want this to be challenging for our heroes. So our lovely ladies and Jaune will have to transverse through this unknown dungeon.

Now before I end this, I want to clarify something with Yang.

I'm not trying to make her a full on turbo bitch or someone who constantly complains. I think there should be some people in the story that try and deny these legends for the story. I thought Yang would be the perfect candidate here in this chapter.

Now I'm not saying Yang is gonna be a full on conspiracy theorist here, that would be pretty stupid. But I do think she should at least deny these legends until she is proven wrong in a sense. I think her as the hot head of the group, would also be quick to deny seeing something that seems farfetched like per say, another kingdom no one knows about.

I think the logical part would say your friends full of it and being a liar. Especially if said partner lied about something else from the whole team.

Now was that a jab at Blake... Yeah, but in my opinion certain flaws build better characters.

However let me clarify: Yang is not in full denial, so that's why she feels this way about the legend of the book. Like I said, I'm not having Yang being mean for the sake of it. Its just part of her process of excepting the truth and going through denial.

So no... I'm not bashing her, just having argue on the other side of things instead of just fully agreeing with them right off the bat.

As for Pyrrha, I think she could be touch and go with this kind of legend, that's why I put her on the fence compared to Jaune and Blake where they believe in these legends of the book.

And with what happened this chapter... yeah its safe to say they are gonna have to work through this belief fast.

Especially with what's coming next chapter... Hehehehehe

One more thing! I wanted Blake to see Adam for what he was becoming, I wasn't trying to have her be all whiny and stuff. But its more of a self deprecation feeling along with a self reflection for her. Plus I got to sprinkle in on who is talking to our lovely cat faunus.

Who is it might you ask? Well you'll find out later.

Anyways! I hope y'all enjoyed this chapter. If you have any questions or want to leave some comments that would be great. You can also reach me by DM, and I will try and get back to you when I am available.

With that, this is Irongiant9000 signing off! See you in the next chapter!

Next Chapter: Chapter 10: Deep Dark Dungeon
