Accepting Help

Yang was down a street on Bumblebee, doing her best to retrace her steps. She stopped at an intersection with a stop sign, looking left and right.

"Okay… where was the road I took again?" She asks herself as another motorcycle drove up to her at the stop sign.

Johnny saw Yang and grinned wildly.

"I don't know who you are, but I dig any chick with a bike of her own, and I see that isn't the only thing you work on..." He said, hitting on her as he admired her physical features.

Yang was not impressed by his blatant attempt to hit on her.

"Come closer and I'll show you my chest isn't the only thing I've developed..." She said with a fist clenched, rejecting him on the spot.

Johnny got upset by her threat but before he could do anything, a shrill voice was heard.

"JOHNNY!" Kitty shouted as she appeared, looking furious.

Johnny saw her marching towards him and panicked.

"Uh... Kitty! I was… looking for you..." He said with a nervous smile.

Kitty just glared at him.

"We just had a small tiff and you go off to hitting on meaningless girls again?!" Kitty shouted.

"Meaningless?" Yang asked, feeling upset.

"Come on baby, you're the only meaningless girl for me..." Johnny said, only to instantly regret it when Kitty got angrier.

"What did you just say?!" She shouted.

"Uh… I mean meaningless in a cute and affectionate way." Johnny claimed.

"He didn't." Yang said.

"No one asked you, you hussy!" Kitty shouted.

Kitty would have continued but Yang waved it off.

"No worries, Greenie. I'm not into cheaters who hit on any pretty sight while they think their girlfriends aren't around..." Yang said, rolling her eyes at Johnny.

"Heh… good to know." Johnny said sheepishly.

Kitty glared at him for that while Yang eyed her.

"And for what it's worth, you're too hot for this idiot anyway. If he can't appreciate you, I'd say trade up for a nicer model like he thought he was gonna do..." Yang said, smirking at her.

Kitty's anger was paused as she smiled at that.

"Aww… thank you." Kitty went while Johnny looked offended.

"Not a problem." Yang went with a wink.

With that, Yang took off. Once she drove off, that's when Kitty began scolding Johnny.

"I can't believe you did this AGAIN! This is the 8th time this week alone! I swear, that girl might be right that I should trade up for a nicer model." Kitty said.

"But Kitty! I swear I wasn't gonna cheat on you! She clearly wanted to punch me in the face!" Johnny said defensively.

"I would've let her do that if I knew that'd happen! I would have filmed it so I could keep it as ammo to shoot down any more flirting you do! I should get that blonde to come back on her motorcycle then!" Kitty said with her arms crossed.

As that went on, a certain someone flew into view.

"You two!" Danny went.

"Danny/Kid?" Kitty and Johnny asked in unison.

"I heard something about a blonde. On a motorcycle. Did she have long hair, lilac eyes and… well…" Danny pointed to his chest awkwardly. "... have a bit of development here?"

"Finally finding the spooky chick too thin because of that dumb vegan diet?" Johnny asks with a grin, only for Kitty to slap him in the back of the head.

"Isn't she a little old for you?" Kitty asks as Johnny nursed the back of his head from her slap.

"Humor me." Danny said.

"She went that way." Kitty said, pointing to where Yang drove.

"Thanks!" Danny said, speeding away before zipping back. "She is right, y'know… might wanna trade up." He tells Kitty before flying away.

"See?!" Kitty went, gesturing to where Danny went. "He's hopelessly chasing a much older girl that is so out of his league that she's practically from another world and even he knows you should appreciate me more! So what does that make you?! An appreciative flirt who hits on every girl he meets?!"

As Kitty rested her fists at her hips, Johnny groaned, wishing he hadn't done that.

Bumblebee finally managed to leave the city limits of Amity Park, going down the road she came from.

As she did, she looked over her shoulder.

"So long… weird world…" She said before speeding up.

Within time, she arrived in the area where she first arrived. However, she braked hard, seeing for herself the mist was gone.

With a grumble, she shook her head. Her only real lead to getting home was gone.

"Wonderful… now how do I get home?" Yang asks.

With an annoyed eye roll, she revved up her motorcycle to drive further down the road.

As she did, Danny had just arrived to where she just was, watching her go.

"She's still driving off? I'll hand it to her… she is brave…" He said to himself as he followed.

Soon, Yang found herself at a gas station. Parking her motorcycle, she saw the meter.

"Running low here… but given what that boy said, they probably won't have any way I can refuel…" She said before looking up. "What now?"

As she thought, a biker gang of intimidating looking men in their 20's took notice of her. All of them with lecherous looks on their faces.

"Need help, missy?" One overweight member with a long beard asks.

"I might… but I got it." Yang said, acting oblivious.

"Oh, brave one here, boys." The biker said.

"Yeah… brave one. And pretty too…" A skinnier member went with a high-pitched laugh.

"Shut it." The overweight member barked.

"Sorry, boss…" He went as he shrunk back.

The overweight leader of the group approached Yang, eying her with clear perverted intent.

"How old are you, blondie?" He asks.

"17." Yang answered.

"17? With a body like that? Well, you must have one heck of a healthy diet." He said.

"Not really… I could stand to lose a pound or two." Yang said with a shrug.

"Well… maybe my boys and I can be of aid to you. Pretty girl like you shouldn't be all alone, y'know?" He asks as he placed a hand on Bumblebee.

Danny had arrived, watching the scene unfold.

"Oh no…" He said.

"Oh… you're hitting on a minor, y'know that, right?" Yang asks with a playful smile.

"What can I say? I live for danger." He said, trying to sound suave.

"Really?" Yang asks with a smile as her eyes were closed.

"Really…" The biker said, inching closer to her face.

That's when a fist collided with his chin, launching him back by 10 feet, much to the shock and horror of his gang.

"Did you like that level of danger?" Yang asks, still smiling despite the edge in her tone.

"Oh… those guys are so going to end up in my thermos at this point…" Danny muttered.

Two of the gang helped their leader up.

"Boss?!" A nasally-voiced member went. "Are you-"

"Back off!" He shouted as he pushed them away, ungrateful for their concern. "Show that beauty we don't tolerate disrespect!"

Yang grinned as she cracked her knuckles.

"This oughta be fun." She said as they tried to gang up on her.

1 minute later

Danny lowered his hands.

"Is it over?" He asks.

Below, all members of the biker gang were on the ground, groaning in pain. One of them had a black eye and a broken nose, another had his mouth wide open while staring at almost all of his teeth punched out, another had a broken arm and bruises on his face.

Yang grabbed the leader by the beard as he winced in pain while on his knees.

"Now… you gonna play nice, promise not to do anything stupid again, and leave pretty girls like me alone?" Yang threatened as she readied her fist, eyes bright red.

"Y-Yes! I swear!" He said, tears coming out of his eyes.

"I don't gotta grab your manhood again like you tried to grab my hair or chest, do I?" Yang asks with an eyebrow raised.

"No!" He went, hands going to his groin in protection. "I promise! No more!"

As he went on the verge of crying, Yang glared at him a moment as if she didn't believe him.

"Hmm… okay." Yang went with a smile as her semblance died down, letting go of his beard as he dropped to the ground. "Lose some weight while you're at it… it was too easy to punch you like I did."

The leader of the biker gang, who was overconfident in harassing a teenage girl he had less than savory interests in, was left crying on the ground while in a fetal position.

"Okay… I'll go back to studying to become an electrician. Promise! No more!" He said between sobs.

With that, Yang walked back to Bumblebee, feeling a bit of relief.

"Pervs everywhere, even around here… at least they make great punching bags." She said before noticing someone was standing next to her bike.

"So glad I don't have to step in…" Danny said with arms crossed.

"Ah… came to get clobbered too?" Yang asks playfully with her fists up.

"No… come to make sure you're not causing trouble. Though… I can't really blame you for… this." Danny said, gesturing to the biker gang.

"Yeah… What a bunch of creeps. Glad to teach them a lesson on talking to a lady." Yang said with a smile.

That's when a siren was heard from a distance.

"And… you got in trouble with the law here again…" Danny muttered.

"Huh… guess so." Yang said with an unconcerned look on her face.

Before Danny could comment, his ghost sense went off.

"Uh… you might have found a little salvation…" Danny went.

"What do you mean? And what was with the wisp out of your mouth?" Yang asks.

Before the police could arrive, an ear piercing howl filled the sky.

Something landed in front of the police, causing them to brake hard.

Before them was a skeletal ghost, one the size of a house, snarling at them as it directed its attention to the gas station.

The biker gang, seeing the giant beast before them, panicked.

"Forget this! I'm going back to Med School!" The high-pitched one said before hopping back on his bike and driving off, the rest following suit.

The giant skeletal beast stared down at the two who remained.

"Seriously? We're dealing the big bad wolf now?" He snarked.

"Guess so..." Yang said.

The wolf ghost then readied to pounce the two.

"Alright, Wolfie, you can huff and puff, but I'm gonna blow you down!" Danny declared.

"Is that some kind of reference?" Yang asked, confused by what he said.

"Do you not have fairy tales on your world?" Danny asks.

"I do but… nothing like that." Yang said.

"Really? W- Y'know what? Talk later." Danny said as he readied for battle.

"Yeah!" Yang went, putting her Ember Celica on and launching herself at the beast.

"Wait, no!" Danny went.

Yang did not listen, simply pulling her arm back to deliver a devastating punch.

"Time to teach this dog some ne-" She then found herself flying past the wolf, going further in the sky. "Oh dang…"

''Yeah...uh...he's a ghost...so...that happens..." Danny said.

"Then how's this?!" Yang went, firing her Ember Celica in the air to propel herself towards the giant beast.

The creature, seeing her coming towards her, pulled back to avoid her fist.

Yang landed on the ground, one leg back and the other bent while her fist pressed in the concrete. Danny was momentarily in awe before shaking his head.

"I can help..." Danny offered.

"I got this..." Yang said, being stubborn as she wanted to take the monster down herself.

Deja vu… Danny thought.

Yang tried to fight off the wolf again, this time firing from her Ember Celica. This did seem to do an effect, but it only angered it further than anything else. The beast then knocked Yang aside, causing her to hit the ground. She attempted to get up, but was only able to see the creature with her precious Bumblebee in its mouth before it started running away.

"Hey! That's my ride!" Yang shouted as it ran away.

Her eyes turned bright red as her hair seemed to catch fire before Danny cleared his throat.

"I can help…" He said.

"Do I have a choice?" Yang asks.

"You do. You can stay and explain to the cops…" Danny said, gesturing to the police cars.

Seeing them now starting to come closer, Yang's semblance dies down as she realizes she can't punch her way out of this.

"Fine…" She said in a defeated tone as she raised her arms.

"Okay." Danny said before he got closer to her.

"Your hands go near my chest, you're gonna be as bony as that thing." Yang warned.

"No worries… I'll see with my eyes and not my hands." Danny jokingly answered before they took off.

5 minutes later

Danny flew in the air with Yang in his arms. Yang took a moment to admire the scenery from above, despite her urgency to find her motorcycle.

"So… can all people in your world fly?" Yang asks.

"No… just me and like two other people can do this on our own." Danny answered her.

"Huh…" Yang went, looking around. "It's… kind of nice…"

"It is. Sometimes, I like to just drift aimlessly on my days off." Danny admits.

"That's how I am with Bumblebee. In fact, it's how I got here thanks to that weird cloud…" Yang admitted.

"So, why do you call it Bumblebee? I don't see stripes in on it." Danny commented.

"It's beca- There it is!" Yang went, pointing downward.

There, they saw the giant wolf skeleton biting down on it like a chew toy.

Yang snarled in anger as her hair started to lighten up, much to Danny's concern.

"Uh… Yang? I called you hot… but right now you're literally hot! Take it down!" Danny went.

With a deep breath, Yang did her best to power down her semblance.

"Ideas to knock it out? You're the expert." Yang asks.

"I got one… but you'll have to keep all of the shouting and making your hair burn my chest down for now." Danny said.

"Okay…" Yang asks.

"I'm also… gonna need you to trust me." Danny said carefully.

"... why?" Yang asks.

"Well…" Danny went before nervously telling her his plan.

The wolven skeleton continued chewing until noticing something in the air, causing it to drop Bumblebee before snarling at Danny and Yang.

"We got its attention." Yang said.

"Yeah, that's the easy part." Danny said.

The beast then ran towards the two before leaping into the air.

"Now!" Yang went.

With a nod, Danny then took Yang by the hand and spun her for several moments before throwing her directly at the ghost.

Yang was now closing in on the monster, grinning as she pulled her fist back.

Before the creature knew it, Yang's fist collided with its head. In an instant, thanks to Yang putting everything she has into that punch, she sent the creature flying back with blinding speeds, causing a powerful draft of air in the process.

The creature hit the ground, creating a small quake with a large enough crater in the process.

Yang landed with ease, smiling at getting payback. Meanwhile, Danny watched in awe.

"Wow…" He said, a smile forming on his face.

"Hey, lover boy! Use your… can-thing on poochy over there." Yang said, motioning with her head for him to move.

"Huh? Oh… right." Danny said as he flew towards the creature with the Thermos ready.

Before the beast could get up, Danny fired, capturing it in time.

Once Danny sealed the Thermos, he landed. Seeing Yang get to her motorcycle, he walked towards her.

"Well… the best thing about being a skeleton is you can't drool… but I don't think my insurance can cover this. I can just say it was a Grim since it looked like one." Yang said.

"Well… at least you got it back." Danny said, arms crossed.

"I guess… I did need help." Yang admitted.

"Yes, you did. And you still do. So… will you please accept my help?" Danny asks, extending his arm.

Yang looked at it a moment before giving in.

"You win, little man." She said, taking it with her right hand.

The two shook.

"Okay, you'll have to come to my place before the cops spot you… again." Danny said.

"Oh, taking me to meet the parents so soon?" Yang asks jokingly with an eyebrow raised.

"Funny, but my parents don't know about… well… this." Danny said, gesturing to himself.

"Really? You weren't born like that?" Yang asks.

"No." Danny said before noticing he was still holding her hand.

He pulled his hand back, clearing his throat loudly as Yang smiled at his flushed reaction.

"So, can we go now?" Yang asks.

"Yeah…" Danny said, walking over to Bumblebee. "Can't leave this here, so I'll have to carry it."

"Alright, I'll sit on it." Yang said, getting on her motorcycle.

With that, Danny picked up the motorcycle and its attractive rider, heading to Amity Park and his house.

1 hour later

Danny was going upstairs, carrying some snacks and bottles of water for his guest.

Good thing Mom and Dad aren't here… even the most realistic of explanations would not help me right now. He thought.

He went through the door.

"Okay, Yang… I got some stuff to snack on for n-" He paused upon seeing Yang on his bed, cross-legged as she rested her head on his pillow.

She took off her boots and socks, along with her gloves and Ember Celica, reading one of his comics.

"Heh… and I thought Blake's books were corny." She said to herself.

Danny's eyes darted towards her legs before he looked away. He didn't want to let his hormones take the driver's seat as he cleared his throat.

"So… I brought you stuff to snack on while everyone gets here to help." Danny said as he left some of it on the bed.

"Cool…" Yang said as she opened a bag and took out a chip. "You sure know how to charm a girl…"

"Ha ha…" Danny went sarcastically before he heard the doorbell. "I'll be back."

2 minutes later

Danny was guiding his two best friends and sister upstairs, having only told them of a strange visitor.

"And I could so use everyone's help here." He said as they entered his room.

All three of them stared at the sight of Yang, who was laying atop his bed and reading his comics. Once she looked up, she smirked.

"Sup?" She went.

Sam scowled at the sight of another girl, Jazz darted her eyes at her brother while Tucker grinned.

"Who's this?" He asks.

Danny cleared his throat.

"This is-"

"I'm Danny's new girlfriend." Yang lied as she stood up and had her fists at her hips.

There was silence for a moment. Danny's friends and sister were stunned while the ghost boy himself was flustered and tried to explain things.

"W-What?! N-No, she-"

"A girlfriend?!" Sam shouted angrily.

"What?! Seriously?! When?!" Jazz went into a panic.

"And does she have a sister?" Tucker asks, eager.

"I do... but Ruby's not really into dating right now. She's only 15, two years younger than me." Yang went.

"You're 17?!" All three went in differing reactions.

Danny tried to set the record straight

"Guys! She's not my girlfriend... Yang is just messing with you." Danny said.

"Yang?" Sam asks.

"That's my name... don't rub it in." Yang said before looking at Sam, almost in a playful manner.

"Uh... see something you like?" Sam asks. uncomfortable.

"You look like my friend, Blake... but not nearly as cute... or developed." Yang went in a dismissive tone.

Before Sam could snap at her, Jazz cleared her throat.

"So, to be clear, she's not your girlfriend?" Jazz asks out of fear Danny was being taken advantage of by an older girl.

"No, she isn't." Danny said.

"Well, we did make out." Yang said, clearly intending to get a rise out of Danny.

Everyone else's jaws dropped as Danny turned red.

"First time was CPR! First time was CPR!" He went hurriedly to them before turning his head at Yang. "And the second time you did that to trick me into thinking you'd strangle me!"

"Well... I'm impressed you're not taking advantage of what happened to brag. You got to first and second base with me." Yang went.

"Second base?" Sam went.

"Upstairs outsidies..." Yang went, pointing at her chest.

It took a moment to understand her, but they all gasped as all eyes were on Danny for different reasons as he turned red.

"Really?! Now it's okay to joke about fondling you?!"

"YOU FONDLED HER?!" All the girls shouted.

"Dude... nice..." Tucker whispered with a thumb's up.

"IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!" Danny shouted before taking a breath. "Okay... before Yang says something to make you think I did something else, like getting her pregnant..."

"Well, there was a lot of physical-" Yang started to list off playfully.

"FIGHTING!" Danny snapped, much to her amusement. "As I was saying before all this... Yang Xiao Long here... is from another universe."

There was a long pause.

"Really? There's a universe of babes like her?" Tucker asks eagerly.
