Happy readingeveryone!
"You coming Benn?" He asked and Benn could hear the underlying amusement in his captain's voice.
"Sure Captain," Benn shakes his head again and they fall into a comfortable silence only to be broken by Luffy only a moment later.
"Dad," Benns step faltered when he heard the child call Shanks 'dad' that comfortably. They had met only a couple of hours ago for fucks sake. They should not be that comfortable with each other! Benn stayed silent as he wanted to hear what the child was saying. "You can tell Benn. I know you trust him and he trusts you. Grandpa agrees too." Benn had no idea what the child was talking about but Shanks looked thankfully at Luffy and seemed like he was relieved he could talk to Benn about whatever it was that bothered him.
"What dad is going to tell you has to stay absolutely secret. Except if you are talking to us two or Granpa." Luffy says fixing a serious glare at Benn and Benn only nodded.
"By Granpa, he means my dad. Not Garp." Shanks says to Benn.
"Wait! But your dad is-"
"I know. I will explain it to you later but I will have to get Luffy back home and truthfully I am absolutely beat and would like some sleep also before doing the explanation."
The rest of the walk is silent and Benn watches how his captain smiles lightly at the child in his arms while the child is slowly falling asleep.
Shanks corrects his grip on his son before walking into Barty's bar where he's met with worried Makino as soon as he steps in through the door.
"Oh good you are alright! I was so worried! There are some big animals in the forest. What if one of them had found you and-" Makino was slightly panicking still.
"Makino-san, I'm sorry for worrying you like that but we're both alright. We just lost the sense of time and didn't realize it was so late already until Benn came to bring back us.
"Oh good! I was so worried. Luffy come here so you can go to sleep. It's pretty late already." Makino reached towards Shanks to take Luffy from him but Luffy didn't want to leave Shanks yet and just tightened his hold on his dad.
"Luf, go with Makino-san and go get some sleep. It has been a long day for both of us." Shanks said gently at the child in his arms while hugging him back.
"Don' wanna go yet, dad…" Luffy muttered tiredly against Shanks' shoulder but even though his voice was quiet the whole bar heard it ad everyone went silent before the pirates filling the bar started bombarding their captain with questions.
"Everyone please quiet." Shanks commands and the bar went quiet like it had been just seconds before. "I will answer your question later."
"Luf, maybe you should tell Makino-san what's going on. I think you owe her an explanation." Luffy mumbled something and Shanks decided that it was an affirmative before turning back to Makino who was looking at him with a suspicious expression.
"Makino-san, could you maybe show us to Luffys room so we can have some privacy, Benn come with us too," Shanks told Makino who led them to Luffy's although Shanks was pretty sure she wanted the two men gone.
" Thank you Makino-san," Shanks smiles at the barmaid whos still eyeing him warily.
"Could you kindly explain what is going on with this? Why is he calling you dad? I would appreciate it if you didn't lie to Luffy about being his dad. I know his real father and because of some reasons, I cannot reveal who it is but-" Makino's voice was colder than Luffy had ever heard it.
"Because his father is Dragon, I know," Shanks stated plainly causing Benn to go rigid from shock and Makino to start emitting strong waves of fear and anger.
"How do you-! How do you know that!? If you're going to do anything to Luffy I will call Garp. I won't hesitate." Makino was angry and scared and Luffy knew it so he had to wake up from his comfortable nap place in Shanks' arms.
"Luffy told me," Shanks answered matter of factly. He didn't raise his voice or do anything else so he wouldn't appear threatening.
"Luffy doesn't know his-"
"Makino it's alright! It's true I told him about my father. He isn't lying about being my dad either because I decided that he is my dad and he accepted." Luffy answered sleepily from where he was laying.
"But-!" Makino was shocked. Luffy wasn't supposed to know about his father. Garp had told her so but then again knowing the man, even something as major as this could slip out of his mind easily. "You shouldn't know this and you especially shouldn't go around telling random pirates about this or actually you should never talk about it aloud even with people that know already except if you're absolutely sure no one can hear you." She reprimanded the young boy on the bed and then the three having the conversation jumped when they heard an awkward cough behind them.
"Em, should I really be here?" Asked Benn who everyone had forgotten to be there also but before any of the adults had a chance to answer him the small pirate king answered from the bed where he was now sitting beside Shanks.
"Yes." The answer was short and straightforward and didn't leave any room for arguments.
"I'd suggest that everyone sat down somewhere because what I'm going to tell you will probably be a bit heavy and also probably surprising." Says Luffy seriously while pointing to two chairs in the room for Benn and Makino to sit on.
"What he says is a gross understatement and the stuff you will be hearing is some heavy stuff and absolutely shocking," Shanks says seriously and Benn is surprised yet again by his captain's behavior.
"It's not that bad, Dad." Luffy frowns at the red-headed captain.
"It absolutely is and you know it," Shanks answers at the bo who just turned back to the people on the chairs staring at the father-son duo in absolute confusion.
"Okay, maybe I should probably start by saying that I'm a time traveler who came to the past today while eating lunch. Sorry Makino for worrying you."
"What- Who!?" Makino was furious. How dare someone steal his dear little Luffy's body and future!?
"No Makino It's still me! I'm Luffy and I traveled to the past." Luffy hurries to correct the barmaid's incorrect assumption when he notices her fury.
Now both Benn and Makino are staring at the time traveler in complete shock and Luffy decides to start his story.
"It all began when Shanks first came to the village…" Luffy told his story. Getting reassuring hugs from Shanks and head pats from Roger. Maikon and Benn were rigid from shock and horrification by the story they heard. Neither of them let a noise when Luffy was speaking and by the end of it, Makino was crying. the sobs racking her whole body while Ben was quiet and staring into nothingness.
"Luffy…" Makino cried and Luffy quickly went to comfort her by engulfing her in a tight hug.
"I'm here Makino," He whispered softly at the crying woman. When Shanks saw that the little pirate had everything under control he turned to his vice-captain who was still staring into the empty air.
"Benn, are you alright?" He asked softly. Softer than he had probably ever spoken to anyone on his crew and Benn turned to his captain his eyes focusing back again to his captain.
"I… Will be. It's just a big shock," Benn sighs deeply.
"That's the understatement of the year," Shanks chuckles and Benn rolls his eyes at his captain.
"Go get yer man!" Comes a loud exclamation out of nowhere startling everyone and before Shanks could process anything someone showed him from behind and he fell right into Benns lap who just brought his hands to steady his captain out of reflex.
Luffy started laughing when he saw what happened from Makino's lap who was still hugging him like a lifeline. He laughed even more when he saw the other's dumbfounded expressions before Shanks realized what had happened and his face turned almost as red as his hair.
"Dad!" He exclaims and at that, Benn gets so shocked that he accidentally drops his captain who lands on the floor with a loud thump and a curse while this send Luffy to another burst of laughter. Makino feels extremely confused by all this. She has no idea what was happening and the only thing making her feel better was that Benn seemed almost as confused as she thought she was pretty sure he knew who his captain's dad was while she had no idea.
"Granpa, become visible to the others also," Luffy said smirking and Makino was yet again shocked by the familiar term used but how come there was someone invisible in the room? How could someone even become invisible? That Makino did not know.
"Sure, Whatever," answered a rough voice seemingly out of nowhere, and then a translucent man appeared out of thin air in the middle of the room and when Makino looked at the man she was fairly sure she had seen him somewhere before and after a while of thinking she realized who exactly was in the middle of the room and she went slack-jawed. The pirate king was in her bar seemingly in a very ghostly fashion but absolutely real.
"This is dad's adoptive dad and so is my adopted grandpa, Gol D. Roger, the former pirate king," Luffy introduced the man to the people in the room who he knew absolutely recognized the man already.
"Yo! I'm Roger, Nice to meet'cha!" The man introduced himself to the two who had yet to meet him whit a bright smile.
"Are we sure Luffy is adopted?" Makino asked the shocked silent room and everyone turns to stare at her before she realized that she had said the thought out loud and went bright red while trying to apologize.
"So-sorry It's just that- that Luffy introduces him- himself the exact same way and you actually look fairly simi-similar in a sense," she explains quietly trying to gauge the past pirate's king's expression to see if he was mad at her and she was surprised to find that the man looked just extremely amused at the thought.
"Not the first time someone has met the brat and thought he's just like me but I assure you that he's not related to me in any way that I am aware at least. My only biological son is about two years older than Luffy and he is my only living relative." Roger tells Makino who is shocked at how kind the pirate seemed as she had only heard stories about how horrible he was.
"Oh yeah, Ace is amazing! I have to go meet him soon. Can you come with me tomorrow so we can go meet him?" Luffy turns excitedly towards Makino who stares at Luffy in shock.
"Do you mean to tell me that the ace who lives in the mountains with Dadan's family is your son?" Makino asks the pirate king after collecting herself. She didn't know what to think about the man but she would have to trust that the man wasn't as bad as she had heard. When he got matching nods back from the two kings she let out a weary sigh and nodded in acceptance at Luffy whose smile was now shining brightly like the sun.
"Do you still have some questions you want to ask us or should we go to sleep and maybe talk more tomorrow?" Shanks asks after everyone went silent and then yawns to show his opinion about this to the others and gets chuckles back.
"I have to ask if you are going to take Luffy with you when you leave because even though I know that I can't really do anything if you decide to do anything but-" Makino started to ramble. She had realized already that if anyone in this room, including Luffy, wanted to do anything she wouldn't be able to do anything other than just watch from the side and hope for the best.
"Don' worry Makino-san I won't be leaving 'till I'm 17. At least not permanently. I might ask Shanks to take me somewhere a couple of times but I will stay in East Blue all the time until I leave." Luffy smiled at the woman kindly who also smiled back at the small king in her lap.
"Okay then. We can continue tomorrow if that's alright with everyone?" Makino asks everyone while she gets up from the chair she's sitting at and goes to put Luffy to his bed where the man reduced to child falls asleep almost immediately.
"Sounds good, Makino-san." Shanks gets up from the floor where he had been left sitting after his father had pushed him to his vice captain's lap but before he and Benn can leave, Makino turns back to the dead and alive pirates in the room.
"There are two vacant rooms if you want to stay here the night. This night has been rough and even though your ship isn't far from here I understand if you want to stay closer to him tonight. The rooms are at the end of the hallway. I still have to go downstairs and close the bar." Makino watched as the red-haired captain seemingly relaxed at the thought of getting to be closer to his adopted son and nodded gratefully to the barmaid before heading towards the rooms dead on his feet.
"I will come with you downs stairs to help with closing and inform the crew," Benn said to Makino who almost tried to deny the help but then realized how tired she was feeling and so accepted the service with a small smile and a nod.
"I'll check on the brats and then I will take the other room. I wasn't aware that time travel would be this tiring." Roger says to the pair heading downstairs before disappearing to his grandson's room. Benn realized only after reaching downstairs that Roger taking the other room meant that he would be sleeping either with Shanks or on Red Force and even though he knew that it would be good to have someone responsible on the ship but Benn had a feeling that Shanks might need him to be close tonight, so he hoped that the could act like adults for once because he would be at the bar.
"Oi Benn! What's happening?" Benn heard Yasopp's obnoxious but concerned voice amongst the crowd which was now considerably more peaceful than when he had left with captain because of their lack of alcohol.
"Nothing to worry about anymore and we will talk about it more tomorrow but now go back to the ship and please act like adults for once. Me and Captain are staying here for the night. I won't put anyone in charge but if something happens Yasopp will run here to wake up me or the captain as soon as possible, now bring your dishes, mugs, and goblets here to help Makino with cleaning.
Benn heard a lot of mixed answers from the group of tired men but everyone brought their dishes to the front before bidding their goodnights and going back to the Red Force to sleep off the alcohol. After watching the crew leave Benn helped Makino with bringing the dishes back to the kitchen where they did them in comfortable silence side by side.
"Thank you for your help, even though I would have managed by myself." Makino breaks the silence after the plates and mugs were back in their places on the shelves and they were turning off the lights and going back to the rooms upstairs.
"Think nothing of it. After this night everyone is tired so it's just better if everyone gets the rest they need." Benn answers the barmaid.
"Ah, then I apologize for keeping you up if you were tired. We should probably both go to sleep."
"No worries I needed some time for thinking. I was not prepared for this kind of shit- sorry, thing to happen in the so-said 'weakest sea'" Ben and Makino both chuckle tiredly at that before bidding their good nights and going off towards their rooms.
When Benn got to his and Shanks's room he knocked once silently, not to ask permission to enter but to inform the other that he was coming in if he still was awake, before slipping silently into the dark room. When his eyes finally got used to the dark he saw that in the room there was one bed that he wasn't sure if it was meant for more than one person even if it would have probably fit two people fairly comfortably. On the bed, on top of the covers, laid Shanks who had thrown off every piece of clothing he wore except his boxers and Benn sighed tiredly and shook his head before also stripping only to his boxers and laying down beside his captain on the bed that now started to feel too small as the redhead almost immediately clung to his vice-captains side in his sleep.
"Good night, Cap," Benn said softly before letting the tiring day take its toll and he slipt into a dreamless sleep, or that is what he would say in the morning, he wasn't a goddam teenager, he was almost forty! Goddam too old for wet dreams about his captain, that's for sure. In the morning he was just glad that his body didn't react to the dream.
Benn got up long before his captain and was already downstairs waiting for others to wake up at 6.30 am. It was a beautiful morning and the rays of early morning sunshine came in from the windows of the bar painting everything they touched in soft glowing yellow light. He had taken the liberty of using Makino's kitchen to make himself a coffee while waiting.
He looked out one of the windows and he could see the green meadows reaching far, different windmills spinning slowly at the gentle winds from the seas painting the green grass with shadows cast from them. High in the sky he saw birds flying in small flocks around each other, after watching the scenery for a while he saw News bird flying towards the island and he stepped out to buy the day's paper. When he got back inside still steaming coffee cup in his hand and the newspaper in the other he saw that Makino had woken up and was now dressed in a simple yet beautiful one-piece summer dress and hair open cascading down her back while she was preparing breakfast for the others.
"Good morning, Makino-san." Benn greeted the woman in the kitchen and came to sit on one of the bar stools with his newspaper and coffee so he could see and chat with the other while waiting for the father-son duo to wake up.
"Ah, Good morning to you too, Mr. Beckman." Makino chirped at the man from the kitchen when she heard him.
"Just Benn is fine, no need for such formalities. I have a feeling we will get to know each other very well during the coming year."
"Ah, of course, then you can call me just Makino." After that, they resumed their morning in silence until they were almost shocked to death when a certain pirate king appeared out of nowhere on a barstool right beside Benn and then fell off the said barstool when he was laughing too hard at the pair's reaction.
"I was going to let Luffy and Shanks sleep a little longer but I have a feeling they have both woken up now." Said Benn dryly at the still snickering ghost who had gotten up from the floor and was now back on the stool beside Benn and looking at the newspaper and checking if there was anything interesting in it. noticing it and having already read the paper he just pushed it toward the ghost who gladly took it and started to read it.
"Well maybe it would be a good idea to go and wae the two. I have the breakfast ready and it's better to have it warm and not cold." Makino came from the kitchen to say also good morning to the older pirate.
"Alright, I'll go get them, Makino, and you can set up the breakfast. It might be a moment before I can get Captain up but I think Luffy gets up at the mention of food so that should be easy. Makino just chuckles at the man before disappearing back to the kitchen to get plates and mugs for the people coming for breakfast and Benn went upstairs to wake up his captain and his captain's son. He decided to start with Shanks because, in the worst-case scenario, he could always carry Luffy downstairs, and of course, he could also carry Sahnks but he was a grown man and could walk downstairs himself perfectly fine.
When he opened the door to his and Shanks' room his breath hitched at the sight. His captain was laying still on top of the soft covers in the bed only in his boxers but what had changed from the night before was the light. Now from the window, rays of sunshine lit up the whole room making his captains already bright red hair look like it was burning in the soft rays of the sun and his light and soft skin marred with some scars that looked like it was glowing in the morning sun. Benn just had to stop and admire the sight on the bed. Benn was woken from his thoughts, which had started to wander in a bit dangerous direction, by the soft huff from the man in the bed.
"Captain, Wake up." Benn went to stand beside his captain and shook his shoulder after collecting himself.
"Nngh, don' wanna…" Benn tried not to let his thoughts wander. Seriously what was wrong with him?! Benn felt like his age had been reduced by 20 years back to his teenage years.
"Makino made breakfast. I came to get you and Luffy so we can eat."
"Yeah yeah sure..." Shanks yawns but gets up and starts looking for the clothes that he had strewn around the room the night before. Benn watches as his captain puts on his clothes and apparently, his gaze is too noticeable because Shanks turned to him with a questioning look.
"See something you like?" He asks flirtatiously, oblivious to Benns internal turmoil at the question. Benn forces the blush creeping up to his cheeks down and rolls his eyes at the younger man.
"Just keeping an eye on you so you don't just slip back to bed as soon as I turn my back." He answers and then turns back towards the door.
"I'm ready, let's go get Luffy and then breakfast. I didn't eat anything last night." Shanks says and pushes them both out of the door before running to his son's door and opening it before knocking. Which Shanks would come to realize was an extremely bad idea because as soon as the redhead stepped into the room Benn first hears a loud smack then a pained gasp and then follows a heavy thud as something falls on the floor. After a moment of silence, Benn hears the kid's panicked voice.
"Ahh! Sorry! Are you hurt!? I'm sorry! You woke me up and I- I didn't realize it was you!" Then he continues with a quieter voice.
"The last- The last couple of years were- We were attacked a lot because we were getting older and- but 'cause we were stills strong most- most of th- them did surprise attacks at- at night when most of us- of us were asleep- and-" Luffys ramble that started to sound like he was sobbing was cut off by Shanks soft voice.
"Hey, Luf, don't worry about it. I understand perfectly well. I should have knocked and not just barged in. I would also be alarmed if something like that happened to me last night was tough for all of us and I bet that for you especially so. You don't have to apologize for protecting yourself and my arm will heal just fine." When Shanks was done reassuring the boy in front of him Benn had walked to the door to see what was happening.
On the floor of Luffys room was sitting Shanks with one hand around the boy who was quietly sobbing against his captain's shoulder, and the other one was resting on his lap with a nasty-looking bruise already forming on it, and if Benn was correct some bone on his arm was most likely fractured. He decided that this was something his captain had to do himself and so he said that he would wait for them downstairs.
Shanks and Luffy sit on the floor quietly comforting each other for a while before getting up and ready to eat breakfast. When getting up from the floor Shanks accidentally jostles his hand and winces when a sharp pain shot through his body.
"Hell kid, you hit hard," Shanks continues fast before Luffy can start feeling bad again for hurting him. "Maybe you should give me some pointers. You definitely have Garp's knack for hitting." He chuckles and then smiles softly when he sees the kid in his arms smile slightly too.
"Alright then! Who ready for breakfast!?" Shanks changes his tone to an excited one and he laughs when he gets the desired reaction of excitement from the tiny pirate in his arms.
"Let's go! Makino's food is the best!" They head downstair together, the kid still secured in the older pirate's arms when they reach downstairs.
"Good timing I just got everything ready so just sit down and take what you want." Makino smiled at the two coming toward the others. Then she seemed to notice the redheaded man's arm and a look of worry took over her face.
"What happened to your arm Shanks-san?" She came closer to check the injury that now was a big purple bruise on his right arm.
"Ah, it's nothing to worry about, Makino-san. I just startled Luffy when he was still asleep and he didn't realize it was me at first." Shanks said with a light tone but the mood turned somber at the reminder of what kind of life the kid was living before his time travel. "And I will go get it checked out after breakfast. But first food then that. Food smells amazing Makino-san." Shanks brought a smile back to his face and then walked purposefully to the bar counter where he sat Luffy down on a stool beside Benn and then sat himself on the other side of the kid.
"Makino! You come eat too!" Luffy shouted to the kitchen where she had disappeared to go get whatever she needed.
"Alright, I will but you can start already. I will be back there soon." She answered from the kitchen. "Shanks-san, what do you want to drink?" Makino poked her head out of the kitchen door and Shanks was about to say that sake would be fine but then he glanced at the child beside him stuffing his face with meat and decide against it. He was a father now and he would show a good example to his son. Don't get him wrong, he was never going to stop drinking, but no alcohol before noon sounded reasonable, at least for now.
"I'll just get a coffee, Makino-san."
"Okay, do you want sugar, milk, or cream with it?" She asked the pirate.
" No need for anything. I'll just take it black, thank you." He answers the barmaid who returns to the kitchen and then turns to look at the others on the counter who all seemed a bit shocked, though mostly just Benn.
"No alcohol?" The vice-captain asks.
"What? Is it so wrong to not drink alcohol at breakfast? I thought you would appreciate healthier drinking habits." Shanks said in a mock hurt voice sending everyone at the counter into a burst of giggles. When Makino came back with the cup of coffee for Shanks, and another one presumably for herself, had everyone else already settled down and were eating breakfast while chatting idly with each other. Or at least the adults were, the small pirate king in between them was just eating and didn't care what happened around him.
The breakfast was a nice and quiet affair after everything that happened the night before but it had to end at some point too.
"We should probably start planning for the future but first things first. Luffy, are there more people that you are going to tell about this whole time travel business?" Shanks started after they had brought their dishes to the kitchen to wait for being washed.
"I first thought about Ace and Sabo but they are just kids so it's not a good idea. Maybe Garmps? It would be good to have an inside man in the Navy and it's the easiest way to get one in there. At least it's better than my first idea." Luffy answers his dad.
"Are you sure it's a good idea to tell Garp? I mean, the idea is good but how can you be so sure he won't tell on us, especially as you are the pirate king?" Benn asks with a frown.
"Gramps wouldn't tell on us. In the end, he has the same goals as me and my father, he just would like to use a bit less drastic measures and not topple the whole government in one go." Luffy snickers and gets a laugh of agreement from the previous pirate king.
"Garp is a loyal friend. When I was locked up before my execution and asked him to take care of Ace after my death I swear he was almost ready to bust me out of jail just so my son wouldn't grow up without his father. Not that I would have lived long enough to see him to be born anyways." Roger vouches for Garp and Luffy continues fast so the mood would turn back to somber at the statement.
"Okay so is everyone okay with telling Gramps?" He gets nods from everyone. "Okay, what about my father, Dragon? He could be an amazing ally." He asks next. Truth be told he's not sure about Dragon himself. He never really knew the man but then again they were fighting for the same cause, at least on some level, and he had saved his brother and taken him under his wing when he lost his memories so at least in Luffys books he seemed like a good man.
"I don't know really anything about the man but I too believe he could be a good ally," Shanks said and Benn nodded in agreement.
"If you're not sure then we can wait and tell him later. You can also ask your grandfather's opinion on the matter." Said Roger and Luffy agreed that it sounded like a good idea.
"Then I want to ask if any of you have someone you want to tell?" Luffy asks. He himself doesn't have anyone else in mind at the moment and he wants to see if anyone of the others can come up with a good idea.
"In the end, it's your call who we decide to tell but I would want to tell Rayleigh, I miss talking to him and I believe he could be a good asset to have on our side," Roger suggests and Luffy feels almost stupid. How could he have forgotten Rayleigh?! He was one of the most important people in his past life.
"I agree. Rayleigh would be nice to have in on this." Shanks agrees enthusiastically. Both Luffy and Roger knew that the red-haired man missed his past crew mates so they had known that he would be immediately on board, Luffy too missed the old man so he would be glad to have him back after not seeing him in decades.
"I miss him too and he's reliable. I'm also sure that he's happy to see the both of you." Luffy agreed and smiled when he saw the small happy smile on his dad's face but then an idea hit him, a kinda stupid one, but still an idea.
"What about Buggy?" Sure the clown hadn't been the most relatable ally and they had worked together only in dire situations but in his past life Shanks and Buggy had never really reconciled because their lacked communication caused some really big misunderstandings between the two of them.
everyone turned to look at the boy.
"Are you sure you'd be okay with that? You and Buggy were not at good odds if I remember correctly." Roger asks Luffy who just smiles lightly.
"You are correct but he's not the worst person there is and I have worked with him also before. Most of the problems he has, and I have with him all stem from his jealousy of Shanks and the bitterness of everyone leaving him. I don't think he ever wanted to be a captain or greater than grandpa or dad but he just wanted to be equal to his brother. I think a big part of his resentment comes from the fact that he isn't recognized as part of Roger pirates like Sahnks because he doesn't want to sail the Grandline anymore and prefers to stay in the calmer waters of the four seas." Luffy tells woefully.
"I would like to tell Buggy if everyone is okay with that. I want to reconcile with him and if it works I don't want to hide anything from him." Shanks said and no one commented on the wetness in his eyes.
"Okay then! Is anyone against recruiting Buggy the Clown?" Luffy asks and everyone shakes their heads.
"Alright then! I think that's enough for now. We can call Gramps, Rayleigh, and Buggy to come here while Dad returns to Red Force to check his arm. Makino, do you have a snail here somewhere?"
