Team Hero sat in the meeting room; at this point it felt like a routine to do so. This time, Team Beauty was sitting with them. Their elegance and professionalism was radiant as they sat together, nibbling on wafer-thin biscuits. Chester took this opportunity to show off a big sack to Row. It was burlap, and it was lumpy...

"I got us some bags!" He said happily. He dumped the contents of the sack onto the table: Two small one strap bags that could be slung over the shoulder. They were small, yet spacious, and both were a cool icey blue.

"What are those?" Falina spoke up suddenly, "Looks tacky."

"Dear." Leaf scolded, "Don't be like that." She gave the two a smile, "I think they're lovely."

Chester smiled back before handing Row his bag while taking the other for himself. Row gave the bag a close look over, noting all the zippers and the weirdly comfortable strap. He slung it over his shoulder, giving the strap a tug to get it into a nice and comfy position.

"So..." Chester spoke to Leaf, looking quite confident, "What do you think of us?"

The Lurantis hummed in thought, "Just try and not rush into anything again. Even if you're part of the guild now."

Chester nodded, blushing a little. "I-I know..."

Miss Daisy entered the room with a weird twirl, landing on her feet with spreading her arms out gracefully. Everyone stared at her until she stood upright. "Sorry," She said sheepishly, "I was doing exercises before coming in." She walked over to the board like usual, "Now today is a special day! It's the last task Team Hero will do before becoming official guild members!"

Chester stood up in his seat, the biggest dumb smile on his face. "Really?!"

Row pulled him back down, "Calm."

Miss Daisy giggled, "Yes, really. Now this one is-"

Before she could say anything, the sound of a bell ringing radiated across the room. It was a big brass bell chime that was incredibly loud.

"What's that?" Chester asked.

"The emergency bell!" Miss Daisy gasped, "Team Beauty-"

"On it." Falina rose to her feet quickly, with Leaf joining her. They both dashed out the door with desperate haste. Miss Daisy sighed, "I'm sorry boys, I really have to go. I'll give you your task later."

"W-Wait what about us? We can help!" Chester said, standing up in his seat.

"I-I'm sorry, but this is something best left to the professionals... I'm sorry." Miss Daisy bowed, and rushed out the door to join the other girls and slammed it behind her.

Now Team Hero were alone in the room with the bell still ringing.

Chester looked at Row, and Row looked at Chester. Neither knew what to do, so Row spoke up instead. "No rushing in, remember?" Row said, tapping his hands on his knees. Chester said nothing, simply shrugging with a look of offense on his face. "I'm learning I swear!" He said defensively. He then let out a sigh, "Hope they're doing ok..."

"I'm sure they got everything under control. They got way more experience than us." He leaned back in his seat, "At least we can just relax for a while."

*CRASH*

"...W-Was that..." Row stared at the door. He looked back at Chester, who was just as startled. The two slowly and carefully made their way to the door. Row pushed up against it, moving it open just enough that they could peer through. Outside, they saw a large figure of a Bisharp looking around the place. Row gently closed the door to prevent him from seeing them. "The emergency... he's using it as a window." He muttered, "He's trying to search the place for something."

"We gotta do something!" Chester said, putting his fists together.

"We-" Row took a deep breath, "We should. But we gotta be smart. This guy looks serious."

Chester nodded, a determined expression on his face.

With the best stealth they could muster, they dropped their bags and exited the room. Hiding behind the front desk, they watched as the Bisharp began entering the other room. Chester and Row slowly crept up to the door, and heard loud shuffling and rummaging happening on the other side. Carefully, Row opened the door to see what was going on inside. The room seemed to be some kind of storage room, with shelves of random junk from floor to ceiling. It was a mess and it was hard to see where anything was.

And clearly the Bisharp was getting frustrated wtih that fact. But eventually he seemed to find what he was looking for; a familiar looking bag. He opened it, revealing it to be the gold sack that Row and Chester had gotten from the Krokorok. Then he closed it, and remained still... before suddenly lunging towards the door! Row, panicking, slammed the door right into his face. The Bisharp cried out in pain as he made impact, followed by the sounds of him stumbling onto one of the shelves.

"What now?" Chester called out, stepping back from the door.

"Bisharps are usually tough right? But I think we can outspeed him. Just watch out for his blades!" Row stood by his friend's side, staring down the door.

The Bisharp let out a loud yell of anger before slicing the door in two. He walked out, a look of rage in his eyes. He dashed towards the two, and they leapt out of the way. Now flanked on both sides, both Row and Chester ran in to deliver a blow. Chester delivered a chop towards his leg first, causing the Bisharp to growl in pain. Row in turn delivered an electric punch, sending sparks across the Bisharp's side. Now even more angered, the Bisharp retaliated by kicking away Chester, knocking him back a good few inches. He then swiped at Row with his blades, forcing the Ralts to dodge and have the blades barely miss him.

"H-He's faster than I thought!" Row gasped out loud. He regained his footing, only to have the Bisharp take another swipe and forcing him to dodge again. The Bisharp didn't relent, swiping again and again to back Row against the wall. With nowhere else to dodge, Row had very little options left. Chester, coming up from behind, whiped the Bisharp's back. The blow barely seemed to register to the Pokemon, who was now glaring at the Chespin behind him.

With the Bisharp distracted, Row readied up another punch. This one however, without him noticing, wasn't covered in ice or electricity...

Row's fist began to ignite. Hot flames emerged from nowhere as he pulled his fist back. He then thrust it forwards still oblivious as to what he was doing. The fist impacted against the Bisharp's sending, causing him to let out a high pitched scream of agony. And to add insult to injury, a small flame began to linger on the Bisharp causing him to panic and run to the opposite side of the lobby.

"W-What was that?!" Chester yelped, rushing to Row's side. "You just did a Fire Punch!"

Row blinked, then looked at his still clenched fist, "I-"

Before he could think, the Bisharp growled out again after having put out the flame.

"Chester, you just hit him with a vine right?" Row quickly whispered.

Chester nodded.

"Can you make another one and wrap it around him? I think I have a plan."

Chester grinned, creating a vine and tugging on it tightly. "On it." He said confidently. He dashed straight forwards at the Bisharp, who was already preparing for another assault. The Bisharp swung his blade, to which Chester ducked straight under and between his legs. He wrapped a vine around each leg, before preforming a high jump over the Pokemon and letting the rest of the vine twist around him. The Bisharp wasted no time trying to cut the vine covering him, but the thin vine proved to be surprisingly hard to cut as it seemed to curve around his blades.

And then Row charged forwards, and delivered a flaming fist towards the vine. Within seconds, the whole thing ignited and burned. The Bisharp let out a scream as the vine burned around him. He struggled and jumped around to try and free himself, but the vine kept burning. Finally, after only a few seconds, the vine burned away and the Bisharp fell to the ground. He struggled to get up... and then flopped to the ground with his eyes swirling. Knocked out cold.

There was a long pause as Row and Chester stood in front of the unconscious Bisharp.

Then out of nowhere, Chester raised his hands to the air and let out a massive cheer. "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Row flinched at the sudden holler, "C-Chester, less loud please."

"Are you kidding?! We just took down a Bisharp! Can you believe that?! That's like, twice we took down Pokemon bigger than us!" Chester hopped up and down, "I can feel myself getting even stronger! I feel like I can carry a whole Snorlax!"

Row stared down at his hands. He... really did feel stronger. It felt strange, but it was hard to ignore the rather pleasant feeling it was giving him.

The front door burst open, and Miss Daisy and Team Beauty came running in.

"We heard screaming, what's-" Miss Daisy stopped talking as she examined the smashed door and the knocked out Bisharp on the floor.

"So I was right..." Leaf gasped, "The fire was a distraction."

Fire? Guess that's what the emergency was. Row could imagine how awkward what would've been with all of them being grass type...

Falina could only let out a very noble sounding laugh. She didn't seem to be stopping either, it was simply too funny to her.

"You two..." Miss Daisy took a deep breath, "What happened?"

Row explained the Bisharp breaking in and getting into the storage room where the gold sack was being held. Miss Daisy gasped and slapped her forehead, "Oh that idiot! I told him to get rid of that bag!" She sighed, "Well that's for me to worry about now. As for you two..."

Leaf stepped up, "Miss Daisy. May I say something?" She walked over to the boys and bowed, "When I first met you two, I saw you both as reckless and irresponsible but good hearted. That hasn't changed." She stood up straight, "But your effectiveness is unquestionable. Therefore-" She turned around to Miss Daisy, "I hereby say that these two have proved themselves ready to be an official team."

Miss Daisy and Falina nodded in agreement. Miss Daisy smiled wide, "Then with no questions left, I hereby declare that these two are to be accepted and considered true members of the guild! What do you two have to-"

*THWACK*

Chester's back impacted the floor. His face contorted into what could only be described as pure joy.

Row was still standing though. He simply gave a thumbs up.
