"Hey, get up. Get up. I said get the fuck up!"
Saira groaned and turned over her pillow.
"Come on. It's been three days. You gotta get out of bed," Hobie teleported in front of her face.
"There's no point. I don't want to do anything." she waved her hand at a hologram¹ of Hobie. She turned back over and covered her head with the blankets, "You're dead. I don't want to take any advice from dead people."
"As you can see. I am very much not dead."
"Yeah, you are. You died. Somehow. Either way I don't have to take orders from you anymore."
"You say that like you hated working for me," Hobie sighed, "Could you at least take me outside for a bit? We've been in this same spot and I'm bored."
"What's your deal anyways?" Saira sat up in bed, "You a ghost?"
"Well, I can't really feel anything. But I know I'm not dead. At least I think so. Maybe I did die and Ozpin copied my memories and soul into a new brain?"
"Ha he seems like someone who'd be able to have that kind of power." She laughed. Then she paused and took a moment to think. She finally said, "We need a plan to kill him."
"Just for the record, I've accepted my fate. But I'm not going to get in your way of course. Plus I don't really have a choice now do I."
Saira cleared off the desk and threw them on one of the other three beds. She took out a blank blueprint paper and thought. Unfortunately, Hobie watched as she didn't draw anything. Instead, she walked over and opened the blinds, and started watching the other groups of students walk by. She observed each person. What they were wearing, what weapons they used. How would someone fight using that? Saira looked over at her weapons. In its simplest terms, it was a gun on a string. There was only one way to really use it.
"I need money," Saira paused. "I'll be back."
"Hey? Hey! Don't leave me like some cat with entertainment! I am still a person inside!"
Saira turned back around before leaving the room, "Here's my scroll," She opened her video player app and placed it in front of him, "Watch some cat videos. I'm borrowing your ship by the way."
"What! No man, not my ship!"
But it was too late. Saira took the keys and ran off. Hobie turned and started watching his cat videos.
A few hours passed before Saira got back to the dorm room. She carried a few supplies with her and put those down on the bed again. She went over and grabbed Hobie and brought him over.
"Hey Hobie, I'm back. You doing alright?" Saira asked.
"Yeah I'm fine. What did you get?"
"We need a weapon. A god killing weapon"
"Right." Hobie looked over her random assortment of electronics, "Hey, something happened. I was able to connect to your scroll? You know when you look through the internet and you can search stuff. Well I was able to just go through it on my own. Like I could just think of where to go through and I could be there."
"What does that mean?"
"I'm not sure. I still don't fully understand whatever I've been put in," Hobie put his hand over his chin and stroked his non-existing beard, "Anyways, what did you buy?"
"Weapon making stuff," She layed out a blueprint of a suit and a sword that wasn't just metal, but armor that had circuitry, electronic pieces, and small pieces that went into smaller pieces to fit together.
"Ha yeah that could work. How'd you even afford to even think of designing this?"
"Sold the ship. Like you said, we're not using it."
Hobie looked at her funny.
"Don't worry, you were going to sell it anyway. Besides, I'll get you a new one. Promise," Saira smiled.
Hobie smiled back, "Hey, I'm glad to see you looking happy."
Sorry that chapter took a while. Anyways, I'm going to put a kind of dictionary to help people visualize what I want to show. Just follow the numbers I put up
It's the AI from RvB. Hobie look like that.
