A few weeks later only two people enter a building to be swiped up in a big hug. "How are the two of you doing," asks Jo Grant Jones.

"I'm good, had a wonderful dream last night," Tegan tells her.

"I am doing fine." Ace answers, both know she is lying.

"How are you sleeping Dear?"

"Ok."

"Is ok the definition of last to go to bed and first to wake up."

"I don't know what it is, ok?"

"I do, you got used to sleeping next to a warm body. A body that belongs to the person you love."

"I have been in a handful of relationships, but slept better by myself."

"Ace, it is different when you are going to spend the rest of your life with someone. I lost Cliff over a year ago, but at times, I am still having trouble sleeping."

"I do love Graham more than I have ever loved anyone."

"You also don't have the luck I do of having the one you love having telepathic abilities."

"I know that. I was thinking he would be back by now. I know I will see him again. I can feel it in my bones."

"It is always good to feel something that strong." Jo rubs Ace's arms. "The three of us should do something tonight."

"I don't know Jo. I just want to go home."

"That's it, I am doing the same thing you did to me."

"Tegan, I am not shutting myself off to everyone. We do a lot together and I work."

"I know that Ace."

"My life doesn't revolve around Graham."

"I know that Ace."

"But."

"But nothing, I'm worried."

"I get that Tegan, but I am fine."

"You are working yourself ragged these past few weeks, with UNIT, your wedding and your Nitro."

"I know that Tegan. I have been having trouble sleeping. The kind I haven't had since I was in the TARDIS after Fenric happened."

"That long?"

"I sleep easy."

"And then when Graham entered your life."

"I had a warm body to be next to. You both know how that feels."

"I have to say, I didn't sleep next to either of my husbands that often."

"You will be with Nyssa," Ace tells her friend.

"Every night."

"It will feel wonderful," Jo adds. "I think some of my grandkids send their youngests over often so I don't have to be alone. The clumsy grandma."

"Come on Jo you are much more than that," Tegan adds. "Those kids feel secure enough around you that if they meet a friend of yours they cling onto them."

"Sarah really took an inkling to you."

"Sarah," Ace looks towards her best friend.

"Jo's youngest great granddaughter."

"She clung to you?"

"Oh my little Sarah, didn't want Tegan to let her go. Even asks next time she is going to see the pretty woman."

"What?"

"Oh Tegan, don't be so blind, you are pretty." The youngest of the three tells the one closest in age.

"Sarah is a sweet young girl."

"Sounds like it." They get on with the workday. Ace's phone rings, "I got to take this. It will be Ryan."

"Hey Ryan."

"Is there any word yet?"

With a large sigh, "no there isn't."

"Oh, how are you holding up?"

"I am doing ok. You? I know this is the longest time you have gone without talking to him since before he married your Nan."

"I am keeping distracted with a girl I just met."

"Really, what's her name?"

"Maria, she mostly grew up in London, spent her teen years in the US. After college she came back here."

"That's great to hear. Will you bring her to the wedding?"

"We've only just met."

"Graham and I have not even known each other a year yet."

"I know."

"If you like her, tell her."

"I don't know how I feel about her."

"Figure it out. With our line of work; you never know what can happen. Hell even if we lived normal lives you never know what could happen."

"Ok, I will figure it out."

"Good."

"Call me if there are any changes?"

"I will. Bye Ryan."

"Bye Ace."

Meanwhile on a faraway planet there is a zapping sound.

"Please tell me this took me to the correct place finally." Graham says exasperatedly.

"Is that you Graham," Nyssa stands up from her spot at her computer.

"It is. It feels like it has been weeks since I have been trying to get to you, using this thing."

Nyssa scrunches up her nose, "now that you say that, you have a bit of a smell. Why don't you go shower and I will see if we have any shaving equipment."

"I have a bit of a stubble, don't I?"

"You do, and if we get back there, I have a feeling you are going to be in Ace's arms."

"Like you are going to be in Tegan's. That is a long time coming by the way."

"I know. It is time. Can I ask a question?"

"Can I shower first? Then maybe get some food. I may have been neglecting to eat the majority of the time, so I could get to you faster."

"Go shower, I will get you some food Graham."

"Thank you." Graham heads into the bathroom that Nyssa pointed to after he gets in he starts to sing albeit terribly. When he gets out there is a new pair of clothes and shaving equipment. After he walks out Nyssa is investigating the Vortex Manipulator.

"What is this?"

"Some sort of Time Travel, we will have to figure out how to get back to earth."

"We can eat then look over it."

"Can I be honest with you?"

"Of course you can."

"I miss Ace. I have barely slept and when I have it feels lonely."

"That's normal."

"I know. I am a widow. When I met the Doc; I lost my Grace."

"How?"

"She sacrificed herself to save the Doc and many people, because of her I have a grandson Ryan."

"That's nice," the two continue eating and then leave.
