Nyssa and Graham arrive at UNIT, but not at the right time. Before Nyssa gets her barings she is tackled by a toddler. "Grammy Nyssa."

"Grammy?" Nyssa looks at Graham who recognizes the face coming towards them. The face is slightly older though.

"JN?" He shakes Graham's hand knowing that this Graham is younger than the one that is like an uncle to him.

"Hello Graham," he looks over at Nyssa. "The two of you told mom and I this was going to happen soon. "Nyssa, I am Tegan's son." He is wrapped in a hug.

"Unca Graham, shouldn't you be with Aunty A?" Asks the young child.

"I should be."

John-Nathan gets down on his knees. "You remember the stories told to you by your grandmas and most of your aunt and uncles?"

"Yeah."

"Well, they are a little early in their timeline."

At that moment another toddler comes running, "Adric Jovakna stop running this minute." Nyssa recognizes the voice in an instant. "Nyssa," a slightly older Tegan, comes closer to her.

"It's me," Nyssa runs a hand over her love's face. "How long has it been?"

"Don't need to worry, the two of you get back to when you belong."

"Ace?" Graham asks.

"The two of you are inseparable as ever."

"So she's?"

"Oh no need to worry about that."

"Definitely not," JN takes both of his kids in his arms, "how many honeymoons have they been on mom?"

"One a year it seems." Tegan looks to Nyssa who is looking at the little boy.

"Adric?"

"I named him after all the stories I heard growing up. My daughter is named Neeka."

"That's a cute name."

"Thank you."

"Nys, you should leave soon. We can't have you meeting yourself."

"So I get back to you?"

"You do my love."

"I am looking forward to it."

"You better, we have had some amazing times."

"Don't remind me," JN's face becomes distorted in disgust. "You never want to hear your mum, well mums like that."

"What?!"

"John-Nathan!" Tegan gets after her son.

"I guess something happens."

"Yes, but."

"Tegan, I asked you to slow down, Adric and Neeka will be fine," the unmistakable voice of Nyssa is heard.

"Go now," Nyssa and Graham zap out just in time for Nyssa to come into the room.

They land again, still not in the correct time. "You and Ace?"

"I knew we would be happily married. You and Tegan?"

"We obviously have done something to traumatize John-Nathan."

"Something major."

"I just can't imagine what."

"Should we try and get some sleep, before we try again tomorrow?"

"Yeah. Tomorrow we will make it back home."

"I will be holding Ace in my arms again."

"I will be holding the physical form of Tegan."

"I have a feeling the two of them will not be allowing the two of us out of their sight."

"I hope not," Graham turns around in his spot in the opposite corner and falls asleep.

In Nyssa's dream she visits earth again. "Hello Tegan."

"Has Graham got to you yet?"

"He has, we have been trying to get to you two for a day now."

"It has been three weeks now. Ace is driving herself up a wall. She has never felt like this before."

"How were you when I left the TARDIS?"

"I left soon after. It wasn't as fun."

"Maybe tomorrow you will have me in your arms."

"I hope so. I honestly think Ace hasn't been sleeping."

"Tell her that Graham has me and we are trying to get back."

"I will. Just please hurry."

"We are; tell Graham that Ace has been calling Ryan or vice versa since he left."

"He would be happy to know they are talking."

"I know."

The next morning Tegan goes into Ace's room and sits on the bed. "Ace, it's time to wake up."

"I."

"Are usually up before me. Now get up. I have word from Nyssa that she and Graham have connected."

"Really, does this mean?"

"It might, now get your butt up, drink some coffee and take a shower. Your fiancé and my Nyssa might be getting here today." That makes Ace get up and Tegan laughs at how fast the younger woman is moving. "You would think that I would be moving this fast, considering it will be the first time I have seen Nyssa in 40 years."

"I just got used to seeing Graham everyday." Ace runs to the shower as Tegan heads down the stairs to make them some food.

"Graham, as soon as you get here, you need to talk to Ace." Ace comes down quickly and is about to head out the door. "Where do you think you are going, young lady."

"Work?"

"Today if Graham showed up and found out you skipped breakfast, what do you think he would say?"

"Fine, though I plan to keep his lips a little too busy for eating." Ace grabs a banana.

"I know that, and add something else. I made toast for us, and don't you want some coffee?" Tegan sets the cup down in front of Ace as she herself too sits down to eat. "I am guessing you want the house just for you and Graham to be as loud as possible?"

Ace chokes on her coffee, "umm what?"

"I am just remembering what K9 said to me that one morning."

"That reminds me," Ace gets up and makes her way to where K9 is most of the time. "K9."

"Yes Mistress?"

"Graham is coming home today."

"Mistress Ace, Mistress Tegan happy."

"We both are happy, she gets Nyssa, and I get Graham back."

"Ace, don't get your hopes up. It's likely to be today but it's not a guarantee."

"I will get my hopes up, not only for me but for you too."

"Thank you."

"You have no need to thank me, that's what friends are for. I need to call Ryan real quick to give him an update."

"Any update," Ryan asks as soon as he picks up the phone having Ace's number saved.

"There has been. He and Nyssa are together and trying to get back to the right time," Ryan can hear how happy she is.

"That's great, have someone call me when they arrive."

"I will. Talk to you later and see you soon."

"When you become a step-grandma."

"Not just any step-grandma, your step-grandma."

"Yeah, I got to go Ace."

"Bye Ryan, talk to you soon, hopefully with Graham by my side," they hang up and Ace gets to work.
