(A/N: In case you didn't see the part at the end of the last chapter, we're almost done with the season two chapters. Meaning, after the next two, three chapters, I'll be moving on to season three. I just wanted to give you all a heads up ahead of time.
The reason why I said two to three is because I haven't made up my mind about whether or not I want to make the season finale into three parts instead of two. I know I should only make it into two, but knowing me it'll more likely than not get prolonged into three.
But anyhow, please enjoy reading this chapter. I'm very excited for it because one of my favorite villains is coming into the picture.)

Ever since the Dragon Riders rescued the Snow Wraiths from the hunters on Glacier Island, it seemed they faced attacks by their enemy on a more frequent basis. The battle on the northern island was a humiliating defeat for the Dragon Hunters, and they were more motivated than ever before to capture the riders and their dragons and find the Dragon Eye for their own use.
New battles between them seemingly occurred daily and each left the opposing side with wounds to heal until the next one. Although it was the riders who won the fights, the wake of them gave the hunters more information about them. Information they would surely use against them in future conflicts.
In the weeks since the incident on Glacier Island, Helene was still yet to forgive Astrid for not telling her about Heather. There were days when she could barely look at her in the Clubhouse or at the stables, and talking to her was rarer. The only times they did speak regularly was during the increasingly common fights against the Dragon Hunters, where they had to work together and warn each other of incoming attacks.
It wasn't just Astrid she was becoming more distant from, but many of the other riders as well. They were quick to forgive her after she lied to them about so many things regarding Heather and the hunters. The only one she still talked to as she did normally was Ladok.
He was her closest neighbor and they practiced with their dragons together frequently, since they had similar firepower. He also shared in her growing disdain, although his was more directed at the information gathered about the hunters that was withheld from them.
This was an enemy he fought more times than he could count for years before meeting his brother and his friends, and yet he knew less than someone who only knew of their existence for a few months. Knowing that he knew so little about them was a personal embarrassment.
While he was quite frustrated and disappointed with himself for his lack of knowledge on his enemy, his primary concern was for Helene. He heard how emotional she had been when she found out Heather was working with the hunters after she was captured along with many of their friends.
She hid it well with the Grapple Grounder triplets she prioritized after they were rescued, yet he could sense something unusual about her in the aftermath. Ever since that day, he felt as though he had the moral obligation as her friend and nextdoor neighbor to be by her side, to ensure that she was never alone. Truthfully, somewhere deep in his mind, he feared the worst if he neglected her.
Astrid had been the one who she would confess her fears to for years, but her trust in her best friend was nearly non-existent. Ladok knew that he was certainly not a substitute for a friend she knew for over a decade, in comparison to his own half a year friendship with her and the Dragon Riders as a whole, but he was there for her; even if all she needed was a shoulder to cry on for a moment.
Truthfully, although he was yet to outwardly say it, he was thankful in a way, for a reason most people likely could not identify with. He enjoyed all of the time they spent together because while she had someone who would listen to her whenever she was upset, he now had someone who would lend him their ears about his own frustrations. It may have issues regarding morality and how she placed the last remaining bit of her trust in him, but he didn't think she would mind if he told her the full truth about why he liked to be around her.
It was the middle of the afternoon on Dragon's Edge, Ladok was in the Clubhouse with Shockstrike standing outside. He only planned to be there for a couple of minutes before leaving, but it was prolonged by his brother's sudden arrival.
There was nothing but silence for a moment before Hiccup cleared his throat and asked him, "So, uh, is Helene okay?"
"If she wasn't right now, do you really think I'd be here?" he remarked.
"Uh, good point, I guess," he replied, his hand on the back of his head. "Is she still-"
He didn't need him to finish his question, "Yep. You bet she is. And why wouldn't she?"
"I guess, but," he took a seat at the table and folded his hands, "she can't stay mad forever."
"Really?" he raised a scaly eyebrow. "How would you feel if your best friend has, for lack of a better term, brainwashed you into thinking your own cousin was working with dragon-killing maniacs?"
"Okay, that's not fair. You know Astrid is my best friend too," he rebuffed.
"But you forgave her, didn't you?" He leaned against the wall with a freshly filled canteen in his hand. "You know, for as long as you've known her, you were just as quick as everyone else to forgive her for lying."
"Well, yeah, I've known her since we were kids and I know that she usually thinks long and hard before making decisions like this," he uttered.
"True, you have known her a long time. Tell me, how long have you known Helene?" he asked with his arms crossed.
"Well, Trader Johann's been coming to Berk for as long as I can remember, so I guess it would be fair to say that I've known her for a long time," he answered. "She was my friend before everyone else was."
"You and the other riders were just neighbors before, what, five years ago?" he inquired.
'Where's he going with this?' he thought. "Yeah, we all grew up together, but no one was really close before we started training dragons."
"Right, and where was she during all those years?" he questioned.
"You know she was living on Johann's ship until she trained Smog," he responded. "Ladok, where are you going with all of this?"
"Hiccup," he closed his eyes, "she grew up on a boat, going from island to island, some of which probably didn't have the most savory kind of people." His eyes reopened as he stared at his brother with his silvery golden orbs, "Seeing you guys, and especially Astrid, probably comforted her as a kid. In her eyes, knowing that her closest friend kept such a big and dangerous secret from her is the ultimate betrayal."
He was silent as he tried to get the words to come out of his mouth, but they didn't. He turned his head away from him in somewhat of a shameful manner, "I- I see what you mean."
Before anything else could be said between them, Fishlegs ran inside with a Terror Mail he received, "Guys! Trader Johann sent us a message. He spotted the Dragon Hunters."
Hiccup stood up from his seat, "Grab the riders, we'll head out in ten minutes."
Fishlegs nodded and left quickly, while Ladok stayed for a few moments. He merely stared at his brother and said nothing to him, there was nothing more to say.
He walked outside, still silent and only giving him a single glance from the corner of his eye. He saw his dragon in the same spot he was in when he went inside, laying down on the deck but awake and patiently waiting for him.
"Hey, pal. Ready to go?" he asked the Skrill. "We're heading out in a bit. We better get Hele."
Shockstrike stood up with a grunt and stretched his legs and wings, shaking his spiked head as though he had recently been in water. When he was finished, bent his knees to allow his rider to climb into his saddle.
They flew up to her hut, following the length of the zip line that connected it with the Clubhouse. He knew she was likely there since they were inside of her home together before he left for water. They landed on her deck, directly in front of her door, and he knocked on the wooden surface with his knuckle.
"Hele? Are you still there?" he called out.
The door opened and she was standing beside it, "Hey, what's up? Did something happen?"
He pointed his thumb behind him, "Get ready, Hiccup wants us to leave in the next ten minutes."
"Dragon Hunters?" she inquired in a tired and slightly irritated manner.
"Dragon Hunters," he replied casually.
She rolled her eyes and turned away from him to grab something, "I'll be down in a couple minutes."
"Alright." He gave a pat to his dragon's head as they began to walk away, "Let's go, Shockstrike."
After departing from Dragon's Edge, it took them less than an hour to find the location of the hunters. It was a small fleet of them, but it was nothing they had not fought before. They separated as soon as they saw the ships, it was easier to attack multiple targets at once than one at a time.
As he flew around firing plasma blasts, Hiccup noticed their enemy was preparing to launch a boulder from a catapult on the ship he, Fishlegs, and Astrid were attacking. "Fishlegs, flaming boulder!"
Meatlug caught it in her mouth after it was fired and happily ate it, "See, girl? I told you we'd have time to eat."
Astrid took notice of archers as they prepared to shoot their dragon root-tipped arrows and alerted her teammates, "Arrows coming next, guys!"
Stormfly shot her spines to counter the narcotic projectiles while Toothless and Meatlug worked together to incapacitate the hunters. Once they were unconscious, overboard, or retreated, Hiccup jumped down to the deck.
He looked to his side to see that his dragon had joined him, "Hey, bud." He gestured to several cages with dragons inside of them, "Let's set these guys free."
Helene flew along the side of the ship she and Ladok were tasked with dismantling, avoiding as many boulders and arrows that were being fired at her and Ripwave as she could. Her dragon released her purple electricity at the enemy soldiers as they soared past them.
Although she took down many of them, there always seemed to be more to take their place. A squad of hunters emerged from the lower deck levels with their weapons drawn.
'It's just never-ending,' she thought, frustrated. She turned her head in the direction of her friend, "Ladok! Let's finish this now."
He gave her a thumbs-up, "Alright! Let's do it! Come on, Shockstrike."
His dragon pointed his snout upward as he flew higher with his rider holding onto his saddle. He stopped once they were level with the tip of the ship's mast, giving both of them a full view of the people below.
Before he gave any commands to Shockstrike, he began to remove his armor. Even though he trusted that his dragon would never purposely electrocute him, the stronger attacks they used where his lightning was at the forefront made him particularly cautious.
Once the last of it was safely gone from his body, he pointed down, "Aim for the helmets."
Lightning channeled through the Skrill's wings as it simultaneously charged in his throat. A spiderweb of pure, raw, blue electricity was released on the ship. Naturally drawn to the metal of their helmets, every Dragon Hunter on the deck collapsed with a seizure.
As he started to put his armor back on, he called out to Hiccup, who just finished freeing the captured wild dragons and was once again in the air, "We're done over here!"
"Us too!" he responded. "Where are Snotlout and the twins?"
"Uh…" Astrid pointed at the ship they were assigned to. They completed their job of disarming it by attacking the hunters, but they were now being chased by Heather.
He placed his palm on his forehead, 'Ah, crap! Ryker must've sent her out.'
Windshear sent a blue fireball in Hookfang's direction, causing him to drop Snotlout out of his saddle. Barf and Belch were flying next to him and panicked in reaction to his shock, dropping Ruffnut and Tuffnut.
'Sorry about that, guys,' Heather thought apologetically.
All three of them were falling towards the ocean while their dragons raced downward to catch them. Hookfang caught Ruffnut while Snotlout and Tuffnut fell into the water.
Snotlout scoffed and rolled his eyes when he saw his dragon with Ruffnut in his saddle, "Oh, really? Her, he saves? Thanks a lot, Hookfang!"
She held onto the larger dragon's horns tightly, slightly wary of what he might do, "I know I'm not as stocky or annoying as Snotlout, but let's try and work together, okay?"
"They're down! Pull them aboard!" Dagur shouted from the ship he and Ryker were watching the battle from.
The hunters threw a rope net at the two downed riders to capture them. Fortunately, Barf and Belch used their jaws to lift them out of the water before the net could reach them.
Snotlout clung to Barf's neck while Tuffnut sat comfortably on Belch. "Okay, Snotlout, you gas, I spark."
Nervously, he moved closer to Barf's horns and sat up on the saddle, "Yeah, I got it. I got it! Okay."
They flew closer to the ship and Snotlout gave a tug to the horns, causing Barf to release gas from his mouth. Tuffnut did the same to Belch and sparks flew out of his mouth, combining with the green gas and creating an explosion across the deck and causing the hunters to jump overboard.
"Yes!" Tuffnut exclaimed. "How awesome are we?"
"Um, let me think. Totally awesome!" Snotlout grinned. "That's who we are!"
He returned his grin with one of his own, "Alright!"
Astrid made eye contact with Heather, who was flying closely around the last ship, the one her brother and Ryker were on. She knew it was time for the battle to come to an end.
"Single spine shot, girl," she told Stormfly, placing her hand on the nape of her neck.
One spine flew off her tail towards Windshear, embedding in her thigh. Heather directed her dragon to the deck, pretending the injury was worse than it really was. Using this as a distraction, the riders departed from the scene to return to Dragon's Edge.
"Did you see how big that explosion was?" Snotlout, who was still riding Barf and Belch, asked Tuffnut excitedly.
"It was indescribable," he replied enthusiastically.
"You!" Ruffnut smacked Snotlout's helmet. "Get off my dragon."
"Uh, actually, my boy Snot and I are gonna hang for a bit," Tuffnut leaned Belch's head closer to Barf to wrap his arm around Snotlout's shoulders. "You know, relive the glory of battle. You don't mind riding Hookfang, do you, sis?"
"Ugh! Come on, Hooky," she grumbled. The said dragon huffed and hit his rider with his tail as he flew ahead.
'At least Heather and I didn't even try to look at each other,' Helene thought bitterly. 'Astrid and I didn't say a word to each other.'
She glanced at Astrid, who flew ahead of her, her eyes lingered on her for a prolonged moment before looking down at her saddle. She would be lying if she said she didn't miss flying next to her and talking to her. She wanted to do those things again, but she still could not get the anger out of her mind.
She took in a breath and sighed, 'Just give yourself time.'
"No, that doesn't look right," she heard Ladok grumble. "Is that it? Argh! No! Shit."
"Ladok, are you okay?" she asked him.
He looked over at her, a couple of pieces of his armor were in his hands, "I can't put my armor back on."
He tried once again, but he was still unable to properly reapply it. Frustrated, he slammed the pieces onto his thigh and growled in his throat.
"I'm really getting tired of this shit with my armor," he crossed his arms.
"Well, it is conductive and if you don't want to be fried, you'll have to take it off," Hiccup pointed out.
He raised his middle finger, even though he couldn't see it, 'Who asked you?'
The riders returned to their island to assess their encounter with the Dragon Hunters. The flight had been seemingly prolonged by Snotlout's and Tuffnut's newfound enthusiasm, all they could talk about was their teamwork during the battle. The other Dragon Riders were never more grateful to see their home after a fight.
Ignoring the two, Astrid approached Hiccup, "We have to pull Heather out, this is starting to get out of hand. Her cover could've been blown if I didn't have Stormfly fire that spine."
He rolled his eyes, "Oh, I wanted to pull her out weeks ago and somebody talked me into-"
It was her turn to roll her eyes, "I know I did, but things were different then."
'Yeah, you and I were still talking to each other,' Helene thought.
"How?" his question bordered on a retort.
She tried to think of a response, but she struggled to find one that would satisfy him. "It's way too dangerous."
"It's always been way too dangerous," he remarked.
She let out a soft, defeated sigh, "This has gotten crazy, Hiccup, and she hasn't even met up with this Viggo character."
The importance of Heather's involvement never faltered from his mind, and it was difficult for him to argue against it, "Exactly. Viggo Grimborn leads the Dragon Hunters, if we can take him down, the whole Dragon Hunter army will be without a leader and they will collapse."
She rubbed her arm as an overwhelming feeling of guilt and anxiety washed over her like a wave, "If something happens to Heather…"
"Nothing is going to happen to her," he interjected before she had the chance to upset herself further. "She's way too smart for that. And if she thought for a second that they were onto her, Windshear would get her out. Besides, what do you think she would do if we tried to pull her out of there?"
'Whoa. What's with the sudden change of heart, Hiccup?' Ladok mentally questioned.
When she didn't answer him, he continued, "Exactly. She'd never go for it. You have to remember that."
"Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo! Best time ever!" Snotlout and Tuffnut exclaimed in unison. "Oh, my Thor. I can't believe you just said that! Me neither!"
"Did we just think each other's thoughts?" Snotlout asked excitedly.
"Uh, I think we just did," Tuffnut responded, equally excited. "'Cause that's what I just thought."
"You know what this means?" he asked him again.
"I have, I have no idea," he answered obliviously.
He reached an arm around the taller Dragon Rider, "We just became official best friends."
"What?" he gasped. "I have never had an official best friend! Always unofficial acquaintances!"
"Well, you do now. Come on, bring it in," he pulled him closer to him, "but this time, for the real thing."
"Ah, ah!" he cried, seemingly overwhelmed by the friendly affection. "It's good. It's good! It's real! It's real enough."
Ladok stiffened slightly when he heard the way Tuffnut said that, "Is it just me, or did it sound like he was-"
Helene held up her hand as she interjected, "Please don't finish that sentence."
"Ugh," Astrid groaned. "Will you please take that somewhere else? I can't hear myself think!"
"Hey, you wanna go someplace where nobody can tell us off?" Tuffnut loudly whispered in Snotlout's ear.
"I thought you'd never ask," he replied.
By nightfall, Heather and Dagur arrived at an island they had never been to with Ryker. He was cryptically quiet about the reason why they were there, all he told them after the battle earlier that day was that he thought it was time for them to meet Viggo.
The ship docked and he led them through a camp full of cages and tents made of dragon skins. He took them to the largest tent and ushered them inside, where they saw a man in his thirties with short, neat brown hair, a goatee, and four uniform scars across the side of his neck, caused by the claws of a dragon. He sat at a large wooden desk with several small standing figurines on a flat surface in front of him.
A single lantern illuminated the interior in a warm, slightly dimmed orange light. It allowed few other details to be seen and it should have provided the smallest bit of comfort to Heather, but it didn't. If anything, not being able to see more of the man was more chilling than if she could see him clearly.
It was eerily silent for what could have been an hour or a mere second before he finally looked at them with his brown eyes and spoke in a calm, slightly cultured voice, "They say there are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe what is." He picked up one of the figurines and held it with two fingers with a smile that showed intelligence and deceptive friendliness, "Maces and Talons."
Maces and Talons was a game played by future chieftain successors with their predecessors to determine their strengths and weaknesses. It was all meant for the successor to grow into the chief their tribe needed when their time came. The strategic mindset it took for the successor to defeat their predecessor made the game a useful tool for predicting real-life conflicts.
"I began playing with my grandfather when I was just a boy, I always insisted upon being the Honorable Viking Chief. I could never understand how he bested me time and time again. For years, I thought his skill transcended mine, I believed what wasn't true." He stood from his chair with the game piece in his hand. "But, you see, in Maces and Talons, as in life," he tapped the foot of the lantern with the figurine, causing the light to move from side to side as it shone across its surface and everyone and everything in the tent, "the line between good and evil is often unclear. Black and white can become gray so easily. What one soul considers evil, another might consider righteous." He placed the object back where he had taken it and tipped it over with his finger, "The Honorable Chief who fails to see this is found to be the fool."
Heather's breath was stuck in her throat and she was unsure of what she should be focused on. She didn't know if she should have had her eyes on him as he spoke of how he compared Maces and Talons to the world, or if they should have been staring at the scales of skinned dragons as the lantern's light reflected off them.
Viggo smiled at his guests, "Welcome." He approached Ryker and the two men embraced each other in a brotherly yet tense manner. "Brother! You must be weary. The dragon trade is an exhausting business." They separated as two hunters entered the tent with a third in chains. "Even more so when profits wane because inventory goes missing."
The chained hunter fell to his knees, "Uh, Viggo, I only borrowed the hide to exchange for food. It wasn't missing for more than a day!"
He stared down at his subordinate and flicked his wrist. The other two hunters removed the man's chains and pulled him to his feet.
He smiled thankfully as he was led outside, "Oh, thank you, Viggo. Thank you."
The man nearly chuckled when he saw the shock and confusion on Heather and Dagur's faces, "We're not animals. Rest. Much to discuss tomorrow."
The green-eyed siblings turned to leave with Ryker as he walked out. Both were ready to be shown the tent they would be staying in.
Before they left, however, Viggo spoke once again, "She can stay."
'Me? What does he want with me?' she thought, her heart beating in her throat.
After Ryker and Dagur departed, he stood by her side as he held open the dragon skins, "Come. Walk with me."
Walking through the Dragon Hunters' camp with their leader was a nerve-racking experience for her. She could barely walk around the ships or markets with Dagur, even after months of building a one-sided trust with him.
Viggo was the first one to speak, "My brother's treated you well, I trust?"
Instead of answering him, she said the first thing on her mind, "You… forgave that man. I wasn't expecting that."
"Forgiveness. Not really a sound business practice, now, is it?" he smirked and she thought she could see a bloodthirsty glint in his eyes.
Suddenly, she heard a bloodcurdling scream that sounded like the man that stole the dragon hide. Briefly, she thought she could hear the faint gnashing of Whispering Death teeth and squelching.
"Trust, however," he continued, "is imperative, Heather. And there simply cannot be a traitor among us."
Her breath becomes caught in her throat, 'Don't tell me… he's figured it out?!'
She didn't realize how far from the camp they had walked until her foot nearly slipped off the edge of a ravine. He grabbed her by her bicep and pulled her back, saving her from a fall that would undoubtedly be fatal without Windshear to save her.
"A man will never know how far he's willing to go until he steps to the edge and looks down." He released her from his hold, "Wouldn't you agree?"
Shaken from panic and what could have happened to her, she answers, "Ah… I suppose, metaphorically."
"I've always hated the use of metaphors." The smile he kept on his face the entire walk disappeared as he became serious, "Now, down to business. I need your assistance, my dear."
"You do?" she asked curiously to hide her nervousness.
"Yes," he replied. "In exposing this wrongdoer who is in our midst."
"Oh, of course. Do you have any ideas of who it is?" she questioned.
She was mentally praying that he was not about to confront and expose her. This man was no fool, she knew, but she hoped that he had not yet figured her out.
"Unfortunately, yes." He looked back at the campsite, perhaps he was ensuring that none of the hunters were within hearing range of their conversation. "Ryker has always been a bit jealous of the power structure amongst the Dragon Hunters and his role in that hierarchy. That type of ambition can often cloud the mind."
She could have sighed in relief, but she held it in because she suspected that he was not the kind of man to point the blame towards his own brother, "So, you think it's Ryker?"
"I'm not entirely certain," he responded. He seemed indecisive before continuing, "See, your brother claims to know these Dragon Riders well, yet they always seem a step ahead of us. Now, I would never suggest turning on one's own family…"
"But if Dagur is standing in the way of your-" she paused as she corrected herself, smirking to add credibility, "of our success, that is not to be tolerated."
Truthfully, if she was in Viggo's position and suspected the possibility of a traitor, Dagur would have been her first choice as well. She would have thought the way he knew so much about the riders yet was continually defeated by them to be more than a little suspicious.
He returned her smirk with a smile, "Couldn't have put it better myself. Nor is it tolerable if this wrongdoer is my own flesh and blood. I'm so pleased that we are able to see eye to eye on this, Heather. I was going to ask if I could trust you, but you've made that question unnecessary. Will you see what you can uncover?" She nodded, causing his smile to widen slightly. "Excellent. In the meantime, I'd like you to join me in a most delicate retrieval, but we must keep it to ourselves. Tell me, have you ever encountered a Flightmare?"
The question surprised her, but she answered nonetheless, "As a matter of fact, I have." She didn't hesitate to tell him a piece of information that only she knew, "And I can even tell you where to find one."
Ladok was walking around the upper platforms on the base, near his older brother's hut. Helene told him she wanted to be alone for a while because she hadn't gotten a lot of sleep, not after the battle the other day. He obliged but quickly grew bored without her and spent the last hour or so trekking up and down every stair and ladder, going from platform to platform.
He set foot on Hiccup's deck and heard a thud and a shriek from a boar. He looked behind a couple of crates and saw Ruffnut crouched down with a boar next to her. It was one of hers and Tuffnut's, Bjorn Boar if he remembered correctly.
"Ruffnut, what are you doing there?" he asked. "And why do you have a boar?"
She quickly hushed him by holding her index finger to her lips, "Shh!" She grabbed his forearm and pulled him down, forcing him to crouch slightly, whispering to him, "I'm hiding from Astrid!"
"Why?" he questioned, confused.
"Because she's driving me crazy!" she nearly screeched at him, still whispering. "Ever since Snotlout and Tuffnut started their little club, she's been making me exercise until my arms fall off!"
He heard about the 'exclusive club' they established just outside of the base, but that didn't answer one question he had, "But what about the boar?"
"Oh!" She put her arm around it, "Bjorn Boar is keeping me company. He's the only one in the boar pit that wanted to come out."
'That's surprising,' he mentally remarked. He pulled his arm away from her and pointed his thumb behind himself, "Is Hiccup in his hut?"
She scoffed, "Big help you are! I tell you I'm having a problem and you just want to know about Hiccup."
He would have been taken aback, but he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, "What the hell do you want from me? Your big 'problem' is bitching about Astrid." He stood from his crouched position and turned around, "Find someone else, I already rented my shoulders to Helene."
She jumped out of her hiding spot, letting go of her boar, "Wait, wait, wait! Okay, okay. I won't talk about Astrid, how about that?"
He spun on his heel, facing her, "Alright, lay it on me."
"Look, don't tell anyone what I'm about to tell you. You hear me?" she pointed her finger in his face. "I mean it! Don't you dare tell anyone!"
He moved her hand away from his face with his palm, "Ruff."
"Okay. You know how Tuff and I are twins?" she asked, rubbing her arm.
"I think the whole archipelago knows," he replied dryly.
"Well, now that he has this bromance with Snotlout…" she trailed off, looking down for a moment.
His face softened in realization, "You feel left out, don't you?"
She nodded, "Yeah."
An idea suddenly formed in his head, one that would likely give Hiccup a headache, "Is your boar still there?"
"Uh," she looked at her feet, seeing Bjorn Boar in the spot where she left him, "yeah?"
He smirked and pointed at Hiccup's hut, "Let him loose."
"I don't know what you're planning, but I like it." She laughed mischievously as she picked up the hairy swine and placed him in front of his brother's home.
She gave a smack to her pet's rear, causing him to screech. He ran into the hut, startling Hiccup and Toothless.
Hearing his brother's shouts, Toothless' warbling, and the boar's frightened shrieks, Ladok calmly walked inside. He noticed the Dragon Eye sitting on his desk and decided to take it, leaving without being noticed.
He handed her the dragon-shaped artifact, "Here. If this doesn't get you into their club, nothing will. Just don't break it."
She took it from him, slightly bewildered that he would not only prank his own brother but trust her to have the Dragon Eye, "Thanks, I guess."
He turned around and walked away, "Don't say I never did anything for you."

(A/N: So, how was this chapter? I know the last scene probably could've been better, but I'm proud of it otherwise.
To be honest, I originally wanted to finish this episode instead of leaving it halfway through. But, when I got to the part where Heather meets Viggo, I realized that it'll have to be a three-parter instead of two, or write twenty thousand words for two chapters.
I know this took a long time again and that was mostly my fault, I kept procrastinating on it and some of my other stuff. Anyhow, I won't keep you here any longer, I need to get to work on the next part anyway (lol). I'll see you in the next chapter.)
