Inside the car, silence reigned. Apart from Matt, Will ,Amiya an the rest's breaths, nobody dared to make a sound, especially the two unfortunate boys. While he drove, Matthews looked nervously from time to time through the rearview mirror at their "guests". The blue-haired woman had taken the copilot seat, while the bunny girl, the masked guy had sat at the backseats, along with, he later found out, the blue-haired' s sister. Unfortunately, he had to move Edward to the back of the van, shortly after Will and the woman called W took seats there.

He was afraid of talking, lest he irritates them any further. Suddenly, the white-haired woman spoke:

"Hey, now that I think of it, you haven't told us what your names are..."

"Well, I'm Matthews, Erelith Matthews." he pointed at the back. "And those two are Will and Edward."

"I'm Talulah, nice to meet you." Without expecting it, she reached him and shook his hand.

The rabbit-girl was next:

"You can call me Amiya." Her tone was friendly in contrast to what he had seen until this point. She pointed at the masked guy."And this is the Dokutah."

"And I am Ch'en." She said from the copilot seat.

"Oh, ok I guess..." Matt wasn't sur about what to say next, but he carried on anyways. "Hey, Amiya, may I ask you something?" He pointed at her rabbit ears "You guys tell me, are those real?"

"Eh, yeah... why do you ask?" she answered with certain confusion. Then the Dokutah intervened. "That's a strange question, in Terra everybody has some kind of feature, be it horns or animal parts."

Will, who was listening to this, let out a laugh and said:

"You guys must be kidding, right? There's no way that can be possible, no normal human has those things. Also, what the heck is Terra? First time I hear it."

W laughed at him. "Are you living in a cave or what? Even toddlers know what Terra is. And if you still don't believe..." She suddenly grabbed Will's hand and placed it on one of her horns. He was astonished.

"Holy shit..." Indeed, when he touched it, the horn proved to be hard as a rock. That meant... " You're not kidding... but, how is this even possible?" He took back his hand and looked at Matt with opened eyes. "Dude..."

Amiya, Ch'en and Talulah exchanged glances.

"This is strange, they don't seem to know anything, neither about Terra, neither about the other races..." muttered Amiya. "Almost as if..."

"Almost as if for them it was something that simply doesn't exist..." The draco said.

"Please, don't tell that you two are thinking what I'm thinking..." muttered Ch'en. She looked at Matt. "Does "Originium" or "Arts" sound familiar to you?"

Matt was confused. "No, it doesn't... Is the firs time I hear the term. Should I know or...?"

"Forget it." She turned to her companions. "Well, guys. This may seem hard to believe, but with all we know so far..." she took a deep breath "We're no longer in the world we know."

"Wait, you're saying that thing transported us to another world?" Asked the Doctor in disbelief. "Damn..."

Matt and Will were left speechless. It was like a comedy or something. A couple of minutes ago, the only worry they had was whether they'd arrive home late. Now, they found themselves having to deal with five strange people who, in an ironic twist of fate, came from another world... What kind of rotten luck was that?

"So another world..." W looked at Will with a smirk. "Ok, then you'll be showing us around! I'm sure there are plenty of different places to visit, am I right?"

"Of...of course!" he answered. W wanted to continue the conversation, but Ch'en cut her:

"Let's talk about this once we arrive, shall we?" She said.

"Fine... "Matt muttered with resignation. He only hoped that these people wouldn't bring any trouble...

X-X-X

"Nghh..." He rubbed his eyes and got rid of sleepiness. Slowly, he opened his eyes. The sunlight slipped through the windows. "Where...am I?", he thought.

When Edward woke up, the first thing he noted was that he was lying in the back of a van. He stood up, pretty much confused. "What happened yesterday, and why I'm in Tyler's van?". Then it came to him. "Oh, now I remember...". He had drunk a lot at Billy's place, in fact, he had drunk so much that he fell asleep after just a couple of hours. "Yeah, it wasn't the brightest idea...", he thought.

Pushing his thoughts aside, he got off and started to walk towards his mate's residence.

"Hope that they've prepared breakfast..." he said to himself.

A couple of minutes later, he was standing in front of the door. Without any worries, he took out his keys and opened the door.

"Yo, guys. I'm back! Tell me you've prepared something...for...breakfast..." When he stepped inside, he was met with his friend and five other people sitting in the living room. They looked at him, expecting him to ask for an explanation or something... but nothing could prepare them for his reaction.

"Oh, my God! Dudes, you're incredible, thank you!" he cried out with joy.

Matt and Will exchanged glances of confusion. They weren't expecting this at all. "Em, you're welcome..." said Will.

"Why are you so happy all of a sudden?" asked Matthews, giving him a puzzled look. Edward let out a laugh.

"You guys are something... You've brought five people who are cosplaying as the characters of my favorite game! What did you expect?" with that said, he approached Amiya and the rest. "Look, they're almost like if they were them! Amiya, Ch'en , the Dokutah, W... even Talulah herself!" He looked at them "Your costumes are very cool and well done! How did you achieve it?"

"Ehh... sorry, but..." Before Amiya could finish her sentence, she was interrupted.

"Don't worry, it doesn't matter!" exclaimed Edward. He took a camera that was lying in the table an threw it, for Will to catch. "Please, I need you to take a picture of this!" He walked towards Talulah.

The white-haired draco watched him with uncertainty:

"What are you going to do?..."

"I ask for an apology in advance, but..." He pointed at her horns. "Can you lend me these?"

"Don't dare...!" She was too late. He took one of her horns, thinking it was just an accessory part of the costume, and he pulled it. It didn't move. "What the... ". When he looked at his friends, their looks were one of horror and fear. He looked back at the now-pissed draco. Then he understood.

"AHHH!" he released the horn and stepped back, with a look of dread and awe. He stumbled with a chair and fell to the floor. "How... how is... this even possible..."

Matthews cleared his throat.

"I know that, at this moment, you must be freaking out." He sighed "Long story short. We were going back home, suddenly these people from another world popped out in the middle of the road, we ran over miss Talulah, then we felt sorry and decide to bring them here."

Edward looked at him with opened eyes.

"Have you just said that you've run over Talulah?!" he was shocked "Shit, if that's true... I can't believe that she hasn't burned you alive yet..."

"You're not making sense, Edd." Intervened Will, incredulous. "Talulah burning us? Dude, she's one of the only ones who hasn't tried to kill us, unlike her sister or that damned psycho." She pointed at W.

"Hey, I only threatened you! I didn't have any actual intentions of blowing you up!" Replied the Sarkaz, outraged.

"You don't understand..." his voice was broken. She pointed at the draco. "She has... killed countless people, without any kind of remorse. That woman... she's capable of anything... and..."

Suddenly, Talulah stood up from her seat. Her expression had darkened, she emanated an aura that made everyone shiver. Then, she slowly walked towards Edward. He started to beg.

"Please... don't kill my friends. They're too young to die..." He watched helplessly that, with every step, she came closer and closer. He closed his eyes, knowing that there was no escape. He awaited death... but nothing happened. "Huh?".

"Hey." When he reopened his eyes, he was met with Talulah's gaze. Moments ago she looked like she was about to snap, but her previous expression was replaced with one of sympathy... though her eyes harbored some sadness. "I didn't mean to scare you, but... yeah, you're right."

Edward remained skeptical, but he let her continue.

"As you've said, I've killed a lot of people, too much people... I might have been such terrible person back then, but I've changed since. I won't do anything to you or your friends, I promise."

"I can't believe it. The leader of Reunion, a woman that many describe as ruthless and without a hearth... I have her right in front of me, yet... she doesn't look like anything I've read so far... It might be that in chapters 7-8 something happens for her to change? I don't know, I should unlock them as soon as I can...", before he could finish, W suddenly took him by the shirt and lifted him from the ground. The look on her eyes made him shiver:

"Wait a minute...How the heck do you know our names? You were drunk..."

"You're right" Talulah realized. "You knew about what I had done... how's that possible?"

Ch'en gave him an inquisitive look. "Explain yourself. Now."

Edward looked helplessly at them.

"Well... Where do I begin?" he said to himself.

X-X

"Bring the spotlights over here!" a man walked by the glade, shouting at his men. "Don't leave anything untouched!"

Hours after the portal had taken Amiya and her companions and dropped them in the forest's glade, dozens of FBI agents flooded the site, cordoning off the zone. At their helm was Head Inspector Hawk, a man with a large beard. Right now, he wasn't in the best mood.

"Damn, why the hell it is always me who ends up handling these kind of cases..." he said to himself, while walking around the site.

A couple of hours prior to this, he had been comfortably sleeping at his apartment... but then the asshole of his boss called him in the middle of the night. If it had been up to him, he would have hung him right away, but since it was Senator DiAngelo who made the request, there was no other choice but to accept and go, to a forest in the middle of Virginia, in the middle of the night.

"Sir!" when he turned around, he saw one of his subordinates running towards him, holding a folder in his hands. "You might want to take a look."

"Give me that." He looked at the photos inside the folder. Then he sighed and gave it back to the agent. "Tch, This is not what I hoped for... but at least it's something."

So far, they hadn't found anything of use yet. The only clue they had was the big circle of scorched earth in the center of the glade.

At that moment, a black car stopped in front of them. Then, one of the doors opened and a man stepped outside. He was tall and robust, with dark eyes and brown hair. His face had several scars, giving him an intimidating aura. His cold expression made the Inspector shiver.

He walked towards Inspector Hawk.

"Who the hell are...?"

"I'm here to take charge of this investigation." He cut the Inspector, then he showed him his plate. "Special Agent Mülhausen, CIA."

Hawk went after him.

"Wait! Who has put you in charge?"

"Senator DiAngelo himself has tasked me with this mission..." he turned to face him. "And now, show me what you've got so far."

"Ok..." he proceeded to explain him the situation in detail.

"I see..." he walked towards the scorched earth, but then he stopped. He stayed like that for a couple of minutes, like if in trance.

"Ejem... Agent Mülhausen... " He didn't continue. The agent kneeled and, extending his arm, he carefully retrieved a strange looking rack from the ashes.

"Interesting..." he muttered. He put it in his pocket. Before he could say anything, someone cried out from the woods.

"I found a clue! Bring me the camera!"

When the two men reached the place, the saw that some agents were already there, taking frantically pictures of, they deduced, were footprints. Mülhausen came closer to take a look.

"Hmm..." he passed his hand along the border of the footprint with care, trying not to touch it. Then he looked at Hawk. "There's no doubt, the portal was opened here."

"What portal?"

"This is classified information, but since you and me we'll be working together... I'll make an exception. The scorched circle was the result of a trans-dimensional portal opening back there... and these footsteps show that five unknown individuals came out of it."

"Look!" The inspector pointed ahead of them. "Let's see where they lead us."

Following the trail, they ended up in the road. Mülhausen looked closely, noticing some tire marks. Then he turned to the agents.

"I've got an idea about what happened here. It's very likely that our individuals stumbled upon someone's car, and since the footprints end here..."

"Someone must have picked them up." Concluded Hawk.

"Exactly..." Suddenly, the special agent's phone started to ring. With a tired expression, he took it out and answered the call. "Hello?"

"It's you, agent Mülhausen? Ok, then hear me this out." Mülhausen recognized his voice. It was DiAngelo's partner, Michael Highstew. "Have you found anything?"

"Yes, sir." He answered with energy. "Looks like five unknown individuals were transported here through the portal..."

"Yeah, and were are they now?" Inquired Michael.

"About that... our clues suggest that they got into someone's car on the nearby road. Don't worry, I assure you they'll be found."

"I trust you. Ah, one last thing..." he took a deep breath. "Dr. Goldtstein wants to have a look at them as soon as possible, and you know what I mean for that... Please, do me a favor and make sure that they don't make it alive, it will make everything easier."

"Understood. Goodbye." He ended the call. He turned to face the FBI agents. "I want yout to search for every car that has passed through this road in the previous hours! C'mon, move your asses!"

Everyone gave a nod and began the search. Inspector Hawk, who had been observing the ordeal, stood besides the agent.

"So, if we find them... what do we do?"

"You kill them." Hawk looked at him with opened eyes. "I know how it sounds, but they represent a threat to our country... and besides that, if they're dead everything will become easier for us..." He shot a glare at him. "Get to it and bring me the owner of that car, there's no time to waste."
