A/N: I didn't plan on this story on having an Epilogue of sorts but here it is, enjoy, Angels.
NCIS Director Jennifer 'Jenny, Jen' Shepard wakes with a smile on her face as her green eyes open and land on her bedroom window. Her smile falls off her face when she sees the DC sun. She wasn't in Paris nor married to Jethro, hell she wasn't even engaged to stubborn man!
All she had was two dreams, one in 1999 and one in 2005, six years apart but were dreamt in one night.
She sits up and sighs, wiping her eyes free of the sleep gathered in the corners of her eyes. It's early in the morning but she knows it's fruitless to even attempt to get back to sleep after dreams like that so she gets out of bed, slipping on a silk robe, tying the belt into a bow at her waist before walking downstairs to the kitchen.
Her kitchen is freezing when she enters it, flipping on the lights and walking to her coffee machine and turning it on.
The smell of coffee fills the kitchen and she takes the cup from the machine, taking sips of the liquid. Looking out of the window at her backyard, the redhead woman can't help but be disappointed that she woke up from the dreams that showed her the life she could have had with Jethro if she hadn't left him in Paris all those years ago.
"Oh, Jethro." Jenny breathes as she sips the French coffee she orders in from France.
It was Jethro who got her hooked on French coffee the second day they were in the city and ever since then she's been drinking it.
Everything reminds her of Paris, of Jethro, of the life she could have had, of the life she threw away just for men to degrade her every chance they get, for men to ogle at her when she walks by.
She hates it but it's her own fault for leaving the love of her life in Paris.
A/N: This story in Paris is now complete, keep an eye out for the others coming in this series. Enjoy it, Angels.
