"OLÓRIN!" A tiny voice did its' very best to boom, but rather adorably barely echoed in the courtyards of Rebuild Imladris. "Olórin!?"

"Anyone you know?" Elrond looked at the venerable form beside him, whose name was being called.

"I..." The Maia did not get a chance to answer properly, because the owner of the voice found them. "Oh..."

"Olórin!" The small girl was utterly vibrant, the pink and red ruffles of her dress adding at least twice the volume of the rest of her. "There you are!"

"Oh no..." He recoiled, but she was already rushing up full tilt, tiny feet making nary a sound on the stones that made up the path they had been walking on. Still, despite the faint dread, he caught her and settled her on his hip in a practiced move.

"Olórin!" He flinched away from her at the volume of her voice, even now that she was this close.

"Really? This loudly?"

"You deserve it!" She poked him, looking him over. "What is up with this getup!? This is not how you're supposed to look!"

"I like this look." He countered, using his free hand to fend up her finger as the elvish Lord beside him was wondering whether to interfere, or just laugh his ass off at his friend's predicament.

"It is not friend-shaped!" The little form declared with all the levels of insult a little girl could muster. "It's grandpa-shaped! I do not agree with this at all!"

"My Lady..." The one known as Gandalf made a face, nearly hidden behind his beard. "The Hobbits consider this a friend-shape?"

She seemed very suspicious of that statement, glaring at him.

"Mellissë..." Their attention was drawn to the archway she had come from. Standing dark and tall, the cloaked figure showed no facial expression. "Is this to be a repeat of Melyanna?"

"She had only one child! One!" The girl that had been addressed as Mellissë declared. "I get after that Beren-thing, but why not before!?" She spewed a couple sentences in something that had to be Valarin in her agitation.

"She spend an hour complaining that Melyanna had only one child." The dark figure swept closer.

"I see." Olórin snorted. "Does it help if I say I made a lot of friends with this form?"

"Did you though?" The vibrant form turned their attention to Elrond, sparkling pink eyes narrowing. "Did he make lots of friends like this?"

"Yes." The elf answered immediately. "Plenty."

"See?" The Maia pointed out. "I can even introduce you to some more of them?"

"Oh, the otters! I want to meet the otters, are they here!?" Mellissë clapped her hands. "Sis needs to plant her face in them!"

Only now did they notice the small form hiding in the cloak of the third adult, blood-red eyes peeking at them from behind dark fabric. "I heard they were soft..." Unlike her apparent sister, her voice was soft and small.

"They should be in the main fountain, last I saw them?" Elrond offered, then nearly lunged forward when the pink form threw herself from Olorin's arm to the floor. She managed to land safely however, grabbing her sister and immediately disappearing at high speeds, towing the grey-clad form after her.

"Should I offer my condolences, My Lord Namó?" The visually eldest of them chuckled softly.

"Yes." The Vala took a breath slightly more audible than usual, which for his standards had to be a heartfelt sigh. "When she realized that my Halls are mostly empty these days, she demanded to see Eä... since I am no longer needed all the time in there."

"I see."
