Chapter 11: Ceremonial rescue

(La Rochelle-Sunset)

Louise had been searching everywhere for her spikey haired familiar that upset look on his face did not leave her mind. That was the first time she had ever seen him looking depressed. He's usually so happy, always smiling and so optimistic. But seeing him sad was different from his normal attitude. She searched everywhere, her search continued until she happened to stumble upon Guiche who held his hand on his face.

"Guiche. What happened to you?" Louise asked

"It was horrible!" He cried with tears trickling down his face "I found this really gorgeous young woman and…"

"Forget it!" She was not in the mood to hear about his broken heart; she was concerned about Sora and to where he might be. "Listen. Have you seen Sora anywhere, I can't find him?" She said with worry Guiche said that he saw him a while ago heading a little west from here.

Without a second thought she ran in the direction he was pointing at. Guiche wasn't sure what happened but he chose to attend to his own matters.

"How could she do that to me? Was there really a reason to slap me, I was just going for a small kiss?"

( Sora)

The sun had begun to set. Sora found himself watching the sunset, leaning against a rail near the side of a cliff. He knew he still had a job to do for the princess, and that was to give that letter to her cousin the prince, but he was in a very emotional state right now. What Wardes said to him about not being able to protect anyone, a flash of memories immediately rushed into his mind. How his friends all died once before at the keyblade graveyard, how he failed to save Kairi from Xehanort, and finally his separation from his friends.

A feeling of sadness and grief rushed to him, after he found and dealt with the guy in black he still planned on looking for a way home, but then, even if he does make it home who's to say that another enemy or some kind of power of fate might keep him apart from them, apart from her. Or maybe if he goes home it would be the same as in his nightmare, why, why doesn't destiny ever seem to leave him alone.

"Sora!" A voice screamed out his name he turned around and saw Louise who was winded. "There you are. I've been looking everywhere for you!"

"Oh, Louise." He said in a low voice. Sora was starting to sound like there was no emotion in voice, this wasn't like the Sora that she had always known.

"Is something wrong?" She asked

Sora turned back "It's nothing."

"Well it doesn't sound like nothing." She said "I'm your master, and attending to my familiar is part of our contact. Listen you shouldn't hold anything on Sir Wardes, he didn't mean to say that."

Sigh* " I'm not holding anything against him, I just-." Sora stopped from saying anything else.

"Just what?"

Sora sighed dryly as he soon faced Louise with a serious expression on his face "I don't trust him." He said leaving her shocked.

"Wait? What do you mean you don't trust him?" Said Louise "He's one of the princess elite guards as well as someone from my childhood. I've looked up to him all my life so how could you say you don't trust him?" Asked Louise.

Sora didn't know why either but he recalled that day the heartless came and jumped them on the road, as soon as they were taken care of, Wardes looked at Sora as if there was something he needed to confirm. And then as they were eating that same feeling came to him. He knows that Louise and Henrietta trust him but after that day Sora has had his doubts about Wardes he knows he has to be hiding something from them.

Louise gasped which soon turn to anger "Sora that ridiculous! I've known Sir Wardes all my life, even before we got engaged."

"Yeah, I got that. I mean he seems to be a nice guy, but I'm telling you he just sets me on edge and I have this gut feeling something bad is going to happen." He gave a reasonable response to the pink hair mage, who was still denying what Sora said.

"I'm not listening to this foolishness." She said.

"Why don't you ever seem to believe in me? Even after everything we've been through together, I thought you trusted me a little more? Aren't we friends?" Sora argued.

"If I told you once I said it again. We are master and servant, I don't care even if you are from another world, as long as you're here you're still my familiar!"

Their argument continued "So all I am to you is someone who is supposed to do you bidding just at a whim!? Is that it, is that all I am to you?" Sora yelled looking at her.

The pink haired girl frantically shook her head "Of course not!" Shouted Louise as she placed her hand on her chest "Yeah, I'm grateful for all you do, aside from the chores. But I really do need you Sora, I need you by my side." Her eyes softened when she said it.

She said thinking about all the times he's been to her rescue physically and emotionally. She never met anyone else who was so innocent and kind-hearted like him. What's more is that he never teased her about her inadequate skills with magic, even though he and everyone else can use it more properly then her, he has never even once called her a zero. To Louise, Sora was a really sweet person, someone who cares more about the feelings of another human being rather than what they can do in terms of ability.

Sora looked back "You don't need someone weak like me protecting you." He said which she snapped.

"So it is about what he said!"

Sora denied what she said. "No it's not."

"Come on, just stop it! Get over it alright." She shouted as she walked and shook his arm and pulled him to try to get him out of his slump.

However the keyblade grit his teeth and took back his arm "Just leave it alright!" He snapped with angerer in his voice which made Louise finch.

Sora's eyes grew softer as he looked at Louise realizing what he did. "Sorry." The keyblade wielder apologized he wasn't really trying to take anything out on her. "Hey, why do you head back? I'll catch up with you soon."

"What are you going to do?" Said Louise with worry in her voice

"It's nothing to be worried about. I just need a few minutes alone." He replied to her as she took a few steps forward "Relax, I promise I'll be right behind you." The keyblade wielder gave Louise a small smile letting her know that he will be there.

The pink-haired mage stopped in her tracks. She wanted to say something to him but she didn't know what to tell him so she decided to respect his wishes. She turned around and walked away from him. "Sora." Louise said his name, the keyblade wielder looked at her curious as to what you have to say

"What is it?" Sora asked

Louise shook her head and said that it was nothing to be concerned about. The pink haired girl began to walk away again. Louise wanted to let him know that she is planning on marrying Sir Wardes but she chose not to say anything. She didn't know what to say to Sora considering how he's been in this world by himself and now that she realizes it, he's been alone for a while, yet at the same time he still manages to stay positive, always smiling no matter what. It must take a special kind of strength to manage that, she kinda wished she had a fraction of what he had.

But right now, that wasn't the Sora she come to know, she didn't know how to comfort him the was he always comfort her. Aside from the fact that she knew Sora was sent to Halkeginia, but she started to think more about their connection to one another...has she been doing this all wrong. She thought as she continued to walk back to the inn.

Meanwhile back to Sora who was still watching the sun go down, he kept thinking to himself as those words and memories replayed in his head and all he could do is sighed.

"Sora!" Guiche ran up from behind him calling his name "What are you doing? We're about ready to depart."

"I know." He said.

Guiche heard the change in his voice sounded different than his usual self.

"Hey, is everything alright?" He was concerned about his friend. "Did you lose to Viscount Wardes?" He assumed

"No I didn't." He said at the same time that Guiche went up near him and saw his expression.

"Something must have happened, because I have never seen you look like this." He said with concern in his voice

"Well..."

As Sora finished explaining to him about their duel Guiche was starting to understand why he was sounding so depressed. "Now it makes sense."

"Yeah."

"You shouldn't be so upset, he was probably trying to give you some advice."

"It didn't feel like it." Sora said "...You know, after everything that's happened to us, I've been starting to wonder if I really can't keep my friend safe. You see, really bad stuff has happened to them and I almost lost my friends completely. I couldn't do anything back their, all I did was scream and cry, thinking the worse." He replied as he tightly squeezed the rail he was holding.

"Are they alright?" Guiche asked, Sora nodded letting them know they were alright.

"He said as long as I have my weakness of compassion I couldn't protect anyone. Honestly I'm not that strong on my own. I've been working hard to make sure I don't lose anyone else, but I'm still limited on what I can do. I'm starting to think maybe he's right." Sora said

Guiche only stared at him with a blank expression on his face as he watched the sun go down he watched how this affected him. "Well. Some people do see kindness and compassion as a weakness, and the world can be filled with pessimism. But I don't believe that makes you weak, Sora."

Sora looked at him "You don't think so?" He said as the blonde haired boy lightly shook his head.

"No." Guiche replied "Your a pure hearted person, someone who would risk anything and everything to keep those you care about safe, and wouldn't do anything too damage others feelings. Take our duel for example; anyone else could've rubbed salt on my pride, but instead you acted kind towards me even when I was the one initiating it from the start. I honestly didn't know if you were fooling me or not but their was something that made me trust you."

"Guiche..."

"You called me a friend when I should be someone you should have a grudge with. But no, instead you were mature and forgiving. What I mean is that you are great just the way you are, so don't lose that what makes you who you are, don't assume you are weak at all because you are the strongest person I've ever known, your power is one thing, but your heart is another."

Sora turned his gaze from Guiche and looked at the falling sun with his hair hiding his eyes, but immediately a smile formed on his face.

"Your right. I've been overthinking this too much." He said still smiling "I remember something Siesta said to me, how doubt can be a form of darkness and I've been doubting myself still. Well, that's over. I got ta remember that there alright, and I shouldn't be thinking about the bad stuff, that's not me!"

Guiche started to smile "Yes. moping around doesn't really suit you at all."

Sora protested "Hey, I'm human just as you and everyone else. Even i get upset."

"I know, I just mean that this is the Sora I know." He said.

"The Sora...you know?" The keyblade wielder thought about what he said just now. 'I really wasn't acting like myself at all, and Louise. I was rude to her. I didn't mean to yell when I see her, I owe her an apology.'

"Well come on, the ship is about ready." Guiche reminded Sora. But as they were about to go, suddenly Sora felt the ground quake underneath his feet. Guiche also felt it, was there an earthquake?

This sudden shakin alarmed the boys as something rose from the ground, a golem showed up from the ground along with it Sora sensed a familiar force that was along with the dirt monster. two earth cores along with a small group of Marine Rumba, three Luna bandits and an Assault Rider leading the group.

"What's going on!?" Guiche said

"I don't know?!" Replied Sora as he soon recognized that golem. 'Wait a minute, I know that golem.' Sora thought as he and Guiche heard the sound of cackling they looked in the air and saw someone falling down and landing and the head of the golem, a certain green haired female with glasses, stared down at them laughing menacingly.

"Fouquet?" Sora questions in shock, why is she here? Sora's thinking was abrupt when he saw one of the bandits as well a Rumba attacking, The key bearer grabbed the blonde haired boy arm and tossed him and himself away from the attack. Sora quickly stood up and glared hard at the green-haired thief as he summoned his favorite deputy keyblade in his hand

"Why is she here!?" Asked Guiche as he was clinging to the back of Sora out of fear.

"I don't know? What are you even doing here, Fouquet!" Sora demanded answers.

"You shouldn't ask a lady about her secrets. But if you want to know, I came to say thanks for sending me to jail!" She raised her wand commanding the golem to move as well as the heartless that were with her. Sora quickly spun Favorite Deputy in a reverse grip and destroyed all of them and took one of the golems arms as well.

"How'd you like that!" Sora sassed as Fouquet wasn't even flinching; she just kept on smiling.

The criminal raised her wand and was using magic to repair the arm that was destroyed. "Not bad. But you'll have to be better." She said as he started to charge at him but he soon came to a halt when he saw more heartless appear he swapped out his favorite deputy to his happy gear keyblade.

"Guiche. You take care of her, these guys are mine."

Guiche nodded "Alright!" He replied as sweat was running down his face. He was quite afraid right now but his pride of being a nobleman would not allow him to retreat now.

"You really think you can defeat me, it's pointless to try little man." Said the thief was looking down at Guiche.

"You are not the only earth mage currently present." The blonde male raised his wand and from the ground a squad of his Valkyries were standing tall, all lined up and prepared for battle. However unknown to him one of the Luna bandits was about to strike him. But was immediately slayed by Sora, who was right beside his blonde ally with a smile.

"Hope you're ready for us!"

"Behold our power! Attack!"

Sora took the charge as Guiche Valkyries followed him for a fight.

(Inn-outside)

Over at the inn that they were staying at, Wardes was preparing his Griffin for the voyage to Albion. Louise was sitting on top of Griffin's back waiting for Sora to arrive. He said he wasn't going to take long and he said he would be here but he's not, what could be taking him so long and Guiche too? She was starting to get antsy as the viscount finished gathering all the supplies for their departure.

"Alright. That's everything we need." Said the viscount as he slowly got on his Griffin.

"Wait."

"What's wrong?"

"Shouldn't we wait for Sora and Guiche, they aren't here yet." Said Louise to Wardes.

"Didn't you know?" He said as Louise was asking what he meant by that.

Apparently he ran into the two of them earlier and much to his surprise is that the two of them had gone back to the institute of magic a little while ago. The pink haired girl couldn't believe what her fiancé just told her...they went back.

She asked what the reason was but he knew little just as her, Louise looked back at their conversation Sora said that he was coming, she knows he was feeling sad but there is no way he would lie to her, he just doesn't seem the type. Louise ask Wardes to wait for them; she believed that they would come, but Wardes said they didn't have the time and their ship was leaving.

"But..."

"I'm sorry Louise but we are in a hurry." He said to his fiancé. Louise tried to plead with him again but agreed to go on without them. The Viscount grasped the reins on the Griffin and the two of them on the Griffin's back raced to the pier. Louise was holding on thinking about this, this mission was very important but the only thing she was thinking about was Sora, he said he would be here but was he actually lying to her.

'Just leave it alright!' She knows that his friends nearly faced death before but she never thought how much of an impact it had on him. But as she thought hard about it, who wouldn't think about losing all people in your life, Louise just didn't know what to do. The two continued riding on the back of the Griffin when Wardes called out to her letting her know they were nearly at their destination. She looked ahead and saw a large dead tree and near the tree was a ship that was docked by the side.

After a few more feet, they made it to the ship. Once they were on Wardes's Griffin rested on the deck of the ship leaving Louise to wonder if they will complete this mission even if it's just the two of the Wardes assured her that they will, changing the subject and told her the state of Albion; and she wasn't thrilled to what had become of that country.

"Have things in Albion really progressed that badly?" Louise ask.

"Worse in fact. From what I heard, all of Albion is currently in a state of civil war right now, being led by the following nobles and aristocrats in charge of this uprising. They took control over all of the county."

"What about the royal family?" Louise said

He put one hand on the rail of the ship "Apparently they've been forced out of the castle and the only survivor is his highness, Prince Wales. He's the only hope left."

Louise couldn't believe it, the situation was more dire then believed it to be. A worried expression showed on her face as Wardes was there to ease her feelings. "You shouldn't worry yourself. I promise I will protect you." Just then her worries faded as she thanked him, then walked to the captain asking where they were to room but she looked over yonder staring at the vast sky. The second Wardes said that to her suddenly an image of Sora came to her mind.

'You said you would protect me too...did you?' Sora wasn't here, but a feeling of emptiness was in her heart. Why is she even feeling this way, just because he's not around.

She sighed, trying to get the thought of Sora out of her head. "What's wrong with me?"

(Sora and Guiche)

The boys were still fighting Fouquet and the heartless that were still in their way. Guiche still had his first Valkyries on the battlefield. During the fight, Sora dawned his strike form and welding his twin yo-yos after he used his agile claws earlier, he was decimating all the heartless that were currently still present and with the power Gandálfr with him, he was making quick work of the situation. But the more he took out the more reappeared and the last of the blonde earth mage's Valkyrie was destroyed.

Sora and Guiche stood together back to back looking at the remaining heartless that were slowly closing in on them as well as the golem that was still in the middle of the fight "Sorry boys, but it looks like this is over!" Declare Fouquet, who had a triumphant tone in her voice.

"I can't believe this is how it ends. Farewell, my darling Montmorency, farewell to all the beautiful girls of our school." Guiche cried out dramatically.

Sora rolled his eyes as he also cracked a smile "Are you serious?"

"Look at us, we're about to meet our end." Said Guiche.

"Relax. We can beat them, together!" He said back as he reached out his hand to the blonde, he seemed reluctant but he took it anyway as he did he suddenly felt something run throughout his body, a kind of power that was all too new to him. Sora grinds at Guiche and he grind as well.

"I told you fools it's pointless to try." The green haired thief said up top the golem. All the heartless lunge at them.

"Birth of Creation-." Guiche summoned a stone slab with a keyhole

Sora moved to the rose with his yo-yos turned back keyblade, he then plunged his happy gear into the slab, as he did he twisted his weapon, unlocking the power of the earth itself "-Titan's Furry!" Cracks appeared from the ground and crystal stalagmite came up from the ground piercing everyone heartless that was in the direction of Sora and Guiche.

Fouquet couldn't believe it. All the heartless that were on the ground had been stabbed and all that were left were the ones in the air. Sora's keyblade returned to its yo-yo form; he then created two portals with his yo-yos taking down the last of the Rumbas just in time as his strike form wore off.

"What was that?" Guiche said, still in awe from the power that was displayed.

"That was called a limit." Sora explained "It is a technique that combines our powers. Into something like what we just did."

"That's amazing!" He replied as the jailbird hopped down from the golem.

"Who cares?" She shouted "You may have gotten rid of my heartless, but you still have me to deal with." Fouquet ready her wand.

Sora drew Derf in his other hand while keeping his keyblade, Guiche ready his wand, both stood their ground prepared to fight.

The golem made the first move, Sora blocked it with both blades and pushed it away, Sora ran on its arm and sliced it along with the other one off, Guiche immediately followed up using the soil and he made a sinkhole having its lower body fallen in the dirt. Fouquet whipped her wand and the sinkhole that Guiche created imploded; they covered their eyes, keeping the dust from entering. As the smoke cleared the golem reappeared whole again.

"Blizzara!" Ice shot from the tip of the Keyblade before it impacted the golem's arm. Instantly, Ice crystals froze its arm and soon slammed his blades shattering it once more he soon shot a ball of fire at the golem as well blowing off some of his side. But the golem reconstructed again Sora grit his teeth as he soon saw earth spikes heading towards the spikey haired teen.

Guiche ran as far and as fast as he could and Sora did a series of backflips. As he was about to land he switched from Happy Gear to his Starlight keyblade, he jumped into the air and began to spin it in his palm over his head.

"Blades of the round!" Five blade projectiles launched from the tip they were sent flying leaving cut marks on the golem. Fouquet looked down at the Keyblade before she laughed a little.

"Oh the memories. You are using the Staff of Destruction against me."

The golem sent a punch to Sora but Sora crossed both Derf and Starlight and flung the hand to the side. The green haired woman jumped from the dirt monster to the ground all while still carrying that prideful smile. Sora looked with a frustrated expression on his face, this was getting him nowhere the more he would cut down this golem the more it would just reassemble.

Sora was at a stand still, not sure what his next move with Guiche stood behind him. Suddenly, a shadow passed over them, causing Guiche and Sora to look up. They saw a blue dragon in the air.

"Sylphid?" Sora said before he saw the passengers. "Tabitha? Kirche?"

"Darling get down!" Kirche shouted. She shot a massive fireball at the golem's leg crippling it. The blue dragon descended upon them.

"So how have you been?" Kirche asked.

"You girls came at the best time! Thanks for the help."

"Excuse me. But don't you know it's impolite to sneak up on a person?" Fouquet sassed

"The pots calling the kettle black." Sora said knowing that she did the same thing. "Give it up. You're out matched, there's no way you can take all of us on!" Sora points his keyblade still ready to fight with everything he has.

"I wasn't really trying to defeat you…I was just buying time."

"What?" Sora gasped as a smirk dawned on the thief's face.

Suddenly, a massive shadow passed over them. Sora, Guiche, and everyone else all looked up to see a large ship flying through the air.

Guiche's eyes widened. "That's our ship!"

"Well it looks like this is my cue." He used magic to levitate herself in the air making her exist from the spellcasters and keyblade wielder, but not before giving the group of teenagers a laugh.

"Witch." Sora stated. He turned to Guiche. "Hey, was that really our ship?"

"Yes it was."

"But it's flying? How?" Sora question obviously it wasn't flying with the help of pixie dust so how?

"Obviously you don't know much about Albion. So that means you don't know about it being a flying continent." Guiche told Sora who looked dumbly, what does he mean 'flying continent. "You see, Albion floats in the sky like an island to the sea. When the moons overlap every month it is closest to Halkeginia." Guiche explained

"Not gonna lie. That's awesome!"

While Sora's inner child was thrilled to hear that there was a flying country, now probably isn't the best time.

"Is now really the time to be a child? Our ship is gone and left us." Guiche said to Sora

"I know. Um, let's head back to the hotel and try to think of something?" Sora replied to Guiche, he nodded and followed him back leaving the girls and the dragon following them as well.

(Inn-outside)

Night had fallen and Sora and his party made it back to where they were staying previously. Sora went inside to talk to the owner, leaving Guiche and the girls outside. The blonde haired boy asked what they were doing out here so far from the school. Apparently Kirche wasn't too excited seeing that handsome gentleman holding Louise the way he did and wanted to prove to him that she was better.

Sigh* "And I thought I was persistent."

Kirche explained "Yeah well it took me a while to figure out where you guys went off to, and when I found you all at last the two of you were fighting a huge golem."

Guiche felt she cared more about Wardes than anything else.

"So tell me, where is Mr. Tall and good looking."

(Inn-inside)

Sora was at the front desk asking reception if the people were still here? "Oh yes. I'm sorry to tell you but they left already."

"They left already!" Sora said to the man at the desk.

"Yes. They departed to the pier just the two of them. One gentleman; This tall, long hair, and wearing a hat said that his company would be returning to the academy."

Sora slowly walked to the door and was confused. He stood in front of the door. Why would Wardes say that? 'I wasn't really trying to defeat you…I was just buying time.' Why did she choose to word it like that? Actually how did she even know where to find them? Obviously she might still be working with the ex-organization member so maybe he told her or it could have been someone else.

And what's with Wardes telling him that they went to the school. Why would he lie "...This doesn't make any sense?"

Sora opened the door and saw Kirche still pressuring Guiche for answers about the man she saw while Tabitha was endorsed in our book.

"Come on, tell me."

"Can it wait."

Sora stepped in front of them "Guiche, do you know where the pier is?" Sora asked.

"Yes but I don't see how that will do us any good?" Guiche replied "And even if we do find a ship they likely won't sail until tomorrow."

"Well we have to do something, Louise is going there. And to be honest I got a bad feeling about this."

"So why did that viscount leave without you guys anyway?" Kirche wondered. Guiche also was confused by this.

Sora put his hand on his chin. "I'm not sure the guy at the desk told us that we went back to the school. But Fouquet said something about how she was just 'buying time'. Plus there is no way she could have known where we would be…not unless someone told her."

"You mean someone told her where we'd be?" Sora nodded to Guiche's question "Who would do something like that?"

The keyblade wielder thought about that, who could have told her? It couldn't have been the princess or any of them, it had to have been someone, someone who knew about their destination. The keyblade wielder thought long and hard about this, but only one person crossed his mind, someone who was traveling with them…

"...Wardes." Sora realized.

"The viscount?" Guiche question. "Sora, that's-."

"I mean it makes sense. There's no way Fouquet would've known where we were, unless someone told her. And the only one Henrietta talked to about this mission was Wardes. I bet he's also the reason why she was out of jail."

Guiche and the others were baffled by Sora's assumption but what if he seemed to be correct. That would mean that Viscount Wardes, captain of the Griffin unit is a traitor! And he's heading to Albion with Louise, if Sora is right then both the princess and zero are in danger.

'Shoot!' Sora made a bolt over the rails and started to race in whatever direction to the pier but was stopped by Sylphid and Tabitha

"Where are you going?" Kirche said

"We have to get to Albion! Louise is in danger!"

"Sora I told you, we won't be able to get a ship right now!"

"But-!"

"Listen, I understand you're worried. But rushing without a plan will only lead to our failure. We need to think this through thoroughly." Guiche tried to reason with his friend as Sora's expression turned into a somewhat lax expression. He was right but the question now was how were they supposed to reach Albion.

"Kyu!" Sylphid roared, spreading her wings out. Sora, Guiche and Kirche all wondered what she was trying to say. Tabitha said that Sylphid can fly all of them to Albion. Sora walked over to the blue dragon and asked if it was alright with her. The dragon nodded, making Sora rub her head in gratitude.

"Well now that we have a way to Albion now. How are we even supposed to find Louise?" Guiche asked.

Just as he said that, the earth beneath him began to shake. It was an instant later that his mole popped out of the ground.

"Veroandi!" The all said surprised to see the familiar.

(AirShip)

The airship continued its route from the clouds to Albion. In the cabin of the ship Louise was looking out the window from her room at the bottom of the deck, she was still trying to put the thought of Sora on the side, but she couldn't. She knows that he was upset, but to be so upset that he would leave her, that doesn't sound like him in the slightest.

Her thought process was interrupted when she heard the door.

"Sir Wardes."

"Is something wrong?" Asked Wardes.

"It's nothing. I was just thinking." Louise replied as Wardes covered his face with his hat.

"I must say you really love that familiar of yours."

Louise protested "No! Sora has nothing to do with this, I'm just thinking about the mission." She tries to sound as convincing as possible. Her fiancé only smiled at her, gently taking her hand.

"I'm just kidding, I told you that I would protect you, did I?" He kissed her hand as she blushed lightly, turning her head with a little embarrassment. "I see you nervous. Come let us have a drink." He walked her to the sofa and poured both glasses. The Viscount handed her a glass while he took his own and sat next beside her. But before they could drink, Wardes proposed a toast to the near success of completing the mission."

"For her highness; may this mission go according to plan."

Clink"

"For her highness." The pinkette said as she held her glass and they drinked the wine. But Louise didn't drink anything; her mind was elsewhere.

Wardes could see that look on her face. "Are you still anxious?" He asked. "You need not worry so much once this job is complete we will soon be wed."

"I know."

Wardes asked her if she was having second thoughts on getting married. She shook her head telling him no, she wasn't having any kind of doubt not at all. It was just the fact that she was unsure about this marriage, it was practically forced upon her by her mother and father, Louise never gave into the idea of marrying but what was she supposed to do? She couldn't just go against family even if she tried.

"...I, uh." Louise took a deep breath. "About us getting married. I. I need some time to think about it." Wardes looked at her wondering if that's what she truly wanted. The pink-haired mage said that is what she wanted.

"It is." Louise answered.

"Very well then." He smiled at Louise. And she smiled back "You know. I think I'll go and stretch my legs for a moment." He stood up and walked from the couch to the door leaving Louise alone with her thoughts. In her mind, all she was thinking about was Sora and the time they spent together both good and bad.

She held her glass looking at her wine and kept thinking about her brown-haired familiar, her heart ache still with him not being here. Maybe if she tried to be more considerate of him

"I don't understand. Why do I feel this way?" She thought. Why does she keep feeling this, the love potion shouldn't be in her system anymore…unless it wasn't the potion but if it wasn't that then what.

'You must really love that familiar of yours.'

'Ha I knew it, you're in love with your own familiar.'

Louise shook her head while blushing. Her: A mage and duke's daughter falling in love with, he's both a plebeian and familiar not to mention he's not even from this world. The idea of her falling in love with him is just ridiculous.

No, it could never happen but even if it was that Sora wasn't even from this world. She also thought about Wardes, she knows that they are to be engaged. While they both have good qualities they're both also different Louise wondered what she would do, or rather what could she do?

(Deck)

Wardes made it to the top of the ship and watched as they passed the sea clouds. As he stared over the horizon the night sky and the chills of the air were somewhat invigorating."

"Won't be long until we reach land."

(La Rochelle)

Back at the village, where Sora and his friends were, a black portal opened on the spot where the keyblade wielder and mages stood. And out came Xigbar with his hands behind his back he did nothing but stare into the sky.

'If I had to guess? Sora and his new buddies are off on a rescue mission. But I think it's time he learned that some things are inevitable.' He raised his left arm out and snapped his fingers. And a heartless had appeared and vanished into the clouds. "The prelude comes to an end and now the main event will begin." That was all as he vanished into the corridor of darkness.

Meanwhile, Sora along with Kirche, Tabitha, Guiche, we're flying on the back of Sylphid. Veroandi was also present as he was being carried by the blue dragon in her arms as Sylphid was flying as fast as she could to Albion, Sora was worried about Louise's safety.

While flying, Sora thanked the girls for helping him and Guiche with this. Kirche waved it off saying that this meant nothing, but still if the boy she loved was right about this then it won't just be Zero who will be endangered but the prince as well. If anything were to happen to his Majesty Wales…

Suddenly, the blue dragon felt something. It felt like they were being watched by something in the sky. Sora felt it too.

Tabitha was silent as she saw something in the clouds.

"... Dodge!"

On Tabitha's order, Sylphid maneuvered fast. Everyone held on tight as the dragon evaded to the left as something came in the front. It moved fast leaving behind a gust of wind that almost knocked Tabitha off her familiar, thankfully Sora held on to her tightly keeping her in place.

"What was that!?"

Sora let go of Tabitha. It then came from out of the clouds in full view.

"... Heartless!" Sora said as he recognized this one from the Caribbean: The Raging Vulture.

"It's huge!" Guiche cried out in fear.

"What do we do?" Asked Tabitha.

Sora brought out his kingdom key in his hand, everyone knew what he was thinking about.

"We're gonna fight that!?!"

"We don't have a choice." Sora told them. 'Louise we're coming! Just hang on!'

The sun began to rise and everyone was preparing for a battle in the sky.

(Ship- morning)

It was now morning. Louise woke up from her sleep and got dressed, she then made her way to the top of the ship. As she reached the deck Louise she witnessed a large portion of land that was floating in the air, they had finally made it to their destination: Albion.

After they departed from the ship and thanked Brimir that they made it safely. When they made it to solid ground Wardes asked Louise where his Majesty Prince Wales was currently holding up at?

Louise said that he was currently residing in a church. After a few hours they came across the church that she was speaking of.

Wardes opened the door and looked around but no one was in sight. "Are you sure this is the one?"

"This is the one princess Henrietta said. But there is no one here?"

"Louise." Wardes got her attention. Louise looked at what he was staring at and got spooked. Soldiers came from out of nowhere inside the church. Wardes put his arm in a defensive position keeping Louise in a safe distance.

"Speak!"

"We're escorts from Halkeginia. This is lady la Vallière emissary from Tristain. We seek an audience with the prince."

One of the soldiers walked in front of the viscount "An emissary from Tristain? I don't believe you. How did you even come across this place, no one else should know about it?"

Louise stepped forward mustering all her courage. "My name is Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière, and I was told by Princess Henrietta!"

"Henrietta?"

"We don't want unnecessary violence. But please let us speak to his highness, the prince, it's a matter of extreme importance!"

The Soldier looked in this girl's eyes and he could see her conviction. His eyes shifted to what was on her right ring finger.

"That ring…" The soldier said as Louise lifted her hand.

Soon he took off his glove on his right arm and on it was the exact same ring only the gem was purple not blue.

"Bring out your hand." Said the soldier leaving Louise confused. "If you are who you say you are. Then this will confirm it." Not sure what he was talking about, but Louise brought out her hand. Both rings met and light gave off from them. "I see…"

"What's happening?" Said Louise.

"This is the wind ruby, a treasure that has been passed down in the Albion royal family for generations. What you are wearing is the water ruby. When joined together water and wind it begins to form a rainbow. A symbol cast over the families of Tristan And Albion." The person as explained as the rainbow was starting to die-down.

"Please forgive me for my rudeness…" The man took off his helmet and revealed his face to her. He was tall with blonde hair and blue eyes "My name is Wales, crown prince of Albion."

After this little misunderstanding was cleared up. Wales kept up his end of the bargain and he and Louise decided to meet in a more discreet location, a small room in the church.

There Louise presented the prince of Albion the letter from princess Henrietta. The seal was removed, the paper inside was taken out, and Wales began to read. For some time he kept on reading it with serious expression.

"So…Henrietta is to be wed?" He said as he walked to a dresser and pulled out a letter of his own. "Give this to the princess."

He said handing it to the pink haired girl. But was curious about what the letter was for. Wales answered the girl saying that it was actually a love letter. It was about her professing her feelings towards him. And the letter he gave to Louise was in fact the same.

Louise was surprised that the prince and princess are in fact secret lovers. "You and the princess."

"Correct. And the one I gave you was my feelings to her. However, if word were to get out. Her engagement is to be broken off, not only that but Tristain will likely be ignored by other countries because of this scandal."

Louise spoke to him in a pleading voice. "Prince Wales! Please come with us to Tristain!" She said desperately but the prince said no. "Why? I'm sure the princess won't care."

"Thank you. But I cannot. There is nothing, even in her letter saying for me to run."

"Besides, my country is in a state of civil war. I can't abandon my nation."

"But…!"

"This is more than just the royal family and the nobility. You see, there are people who have orchestrated this entire war, an organization called: Reconquista. They've manipulated the nobles clinging onto old world ideas."

"Your highness …

He bought his hand out and placed it on her shoulder. "Listen I am the prince of this kingdom, I will not simply turn my back and run. I will do everything in my power to make sure this country sees tomorrow, and I'll gladly stake my life on those beliefs." He explained to the young Vallière but something said to her that he will not change his mind. All she could do is believe in his words.

(Outside)

Louise was speechless, his resolve was unwavering. For a brief instant the image of Wales was replaced and for only a moment Louise saw Sora. The way he smiled was so friendly and the gentle look he had in his eyes…

Just as she kept thinking about it, Wardes came to her.

"So everything is settled?" Asked the Viscount.

Louise nodded "Yes. I have another letter from the prince. He asked me to hand it over to lady Henrietta."

Wardes smiled at her for her achievement telling her that she has grown so much. Louise smiled at that compliment.as well as thanked him.

"Um, sir Wardes."

"Hm?"

Louise fidget a bit. "Remember how I told you I wanted some time to think about our marriage. Well, I thought long enough about it and I accepted it!" She said

Wardes was enthusiastic "That's wonderful." He said "Then let us get married here."

Louise was shocked that he would suddenly jump right into this. "Wait here? You want a wedding now?"

"Yes and I want Prince Wales to witness our ceremony."

"But we still need to give the letter to the princess. This is all too sudden." She looked away but the viscount forcefully grabbed her shoulder. Right now he was scaring her.

"Wardes please let go. You're starting to scare me.

"I'm sorry Louise, but I need you. Or rather we of Reconquista need you!" Louise's eyes widened.

'Reconquista? Wardes don't tell me-.'

"Louise, I need you."

Louise pushed him off of her and declined that she isn't going to marry him after this. She began to run but she bumped into another person.

"You're not going anywhere. Descendant of the void." He pointed his ring in front of her and a purple light came off of it. Slowly Louise felt her will slipping away.

"Vo…id…?" And like that everything went black she stood in place with lifeless in her eyes. She stood in place, motionless like a doll.

"I must say. For a tiny little ring it's got some serious power." A voice came from out of the shadows and emerged Xigbar.

"Xigbar." The viscount was mildly greeted.

"You should be more wary of the ring of Andvari."

"You think a little thing like that scares me? As if." The sniper said "Come on Curls."

The man got angry with that stupid nickname "And I told you before, you address me as Cromwell!" He shouted. But Xigbar waved it off.

"Whatever."

"Xigbar. What are you doing here?" The Viscount asked.

"Oh it's nothing really. Just came here to congratulate you on your marriage." He playfully said before opening a portal.

"Wait you. The boys, have you and Matilda taken care of them."

Wardes asked but the nobody quietly walked to the portal he stopped just before entering as he looked behind him staring at both the Viscount and Cromwell "...Maybe. Maybe not, best to see with your eyes." That was all he said before disappearing into a dark corridor.

The two of them just stared at this m stranger came from out of nowhere offering services while they are grateful to him for his gift he still remains too much of a mystery even more so since no one's actually seen his face because he's always wearing that hood. Just who is this man and what was he really after.

(Church- sunset)

Louise was in trouble. Currently, she is being controlled by the Ring of Andvari. She was standing next to Wardes in front of an altar. Prince Wales was standing in front of her and Wardes as he performed the ceremony of marriage.

Louise couldn't believe it. Wardes someone that she respected and admired for so long was her enemy, a traitor to her kingdom and the princess. She knew Sora wouldn't just abandon the mission like this but she went along with it, how could she have been so stupid. What happened to the man she knew when she was younger what changed in him?

She was frantically trying to fight against Cromwell's control, but the power of the ring was controlling her body with an steel grip, Louise couldn't break free. The prince was nearly at the end of the ceremony.

'I can't believe this is happening. I don't want this.' She desperately pleaded. 'Someone, help me.'

"Do you, Wardes? Take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold. To love and respect?"

"I do."

"Louise, do you take Sir Wardes to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Wales asked as he smiled happily at the couple.

"I…I…I…" she stuttered, using every ounce of strength she had to fight against the power of the ring.

"Louise?" Wales asked, his eyebrow raised.

Wardes cleared his throat. "She is just nervous. It is a big day for her after all." He said with a gentle smile before he looked over at Louise. "Don't be shy Louise, go ahead."

"I-I" Louise stuttered again. She was fighting so hard against the rings control.

BAM

Suddenly, the doors of the church burst open. Everyone turned to see a gleaming weapon whirl through the entryway. The viscount immediately ducked his head from the weapon that passed right by him and pierced into the wall. The prince looked at the weapon as he had never seen anything like it.

"A key?" Wales observed.

Wardes eyes widened drastically as it suddenly disappeared. He looked at the doorway and was surprised to see a figure holding the key weapon in his hand.

"LOUISE!"

Cromwell, who was watching the wedding ceremony behind a pillar in the church, was distracted for a brief moment by the sudden interruption. He suddenly lost concentration in that instant, but that was all Louise needed. When she heard that voice, she used all of her will power against the control of the ring.

Instantly, the spell was broken. She ripped the veil off of her head and turned towards the door. Her eyes widened drastically as she saw her familiar standing there. He had actually come for her.

"SORA!"

Sora laughed in joy "Sorry it took so long we were dealing with a heartless. But I'm here now." He smiled at her. Tears were coming out of her eyes, he came, he really came to save her.

Everyone in the current vicinity stared at the new figure. Wales was the first to regain his composure. "Guards, ARREST HIM!"

"Wait!" Louise shouted as she turned to Prince Wales. "Prince Wales, It's a trap! Wardes is…"

"To hell with it!" Wardes roared as he drew his sword and rushed at Wales. Wales only had a second to look over at Wardes. His eyes widened as the sword drew nearer. In this position, there was no way he would be able to dodge. What was Wardes doing? Wales grit his teeth and waited for impact.

Wardes was within inches of thrusting his blade through Wales's heart, but suddenly, Sora appeared out of nowhere as he blocked and pushed him away as he landed on his feet as well.

Wales's eyes were wide as he witnessed what just happened. There was no doubt in his mind. Wardes had tried to attack him, while this intruder had just saved his life. He was a bit too shocked to speak at the moment as he looked at the downed Wardes.

"You traitor…" Wales said but ignored the prince and forced on Sora

"How did you find us?" Wardes demand

Sora smiled "Let's just say we followed our noses."

"What are you talking about?" Asked Louise as Sora said that Guiche's familiar was responsible for helping track her down, apparently once he smells a gem he's not going to forget it.

She started at the ring. She couldn't believe that Verdandi was tracking them so that's what he meant.

Wales approached the keyblade wielder "I must say thank you… um, what may I call you."

"Just Sora."

"Sora, you have my gratitude. Guards, seize him!"

Immediately, Wardes was surrounded by Wales's guards, Sora ran down the altar to join the guards as well. They moved forward to grab him, but a low chuckle stopped them in their tracks.

"What's so funny.

"I underestimated you Sora , but at the end of today, I will have fulfilled my goals."

"What goals?"

"First, is to kill Prince Wales. Second, I was to secure the letter from Henrietta." Wardes said as he fished a letter out of his jacket.

Louise gasped as she patted down her clothes. Her eyes widened as she realized the letter she was going to give to the princess was no longer on her.

He continued "And third. My last goal was to capture you Louise."

Louise blinked a few times, obviously confused. "Why? Why do you want me desperately?"

"Because Louise, you are the first void mage that has come into existence in the last 6,000 years." Louise wasn't sure what he was talking about.

Sora and everyone else looked at her when he said that 'void mage'... As in the power of Brimir himself. A wicked smile appeared on his face Sora was caught off guard when he saw what was forming in Wardes hand.

'Darkness?' A condensed shard of darkness formed in his hand. A second later, the energy shot from his palm, heading straight for Louise. Sora snapped out of it a little late Louise watched helplessly as the darkness shot at her. He didn't have enough time to make it she closed her eyes awaiting the impact.

But nothing happened. Slowly, she opened her eyes. Immediately, she wished he hadn't.

Standing in front of her, his arms stretched out protectively, was Price Wales. He had jumped in front of her to take the blow head on. Wales coughed once and soon fell onto the floor.

Sora and the guards all turned around to see the prince lying on the floor.

"P-Prince Wales!" Louise held onto the prince as light particles began to admit off his body but with the last of his strength he pulled off the ring on his finger and gave a small smile to the girl.

Louise grabbed the wind ruby from the princess and with his final breath "Tell…Henrietta….That… I'm… Sorry." his entire body evaporated into particles of light. The only thing that remained was the Wind Ruby that was in her hand tears ran down her face.

"NOOO!!!"

"Your Highness!"

"Bastard!"

"Well now, that's two of my objectives achieved."

Sora watched that as well and immediately his thoughts turned to Master Xehanort when he struck down Kairi right in front of him. He grit his teeth in anger as black wisp came off of his arm but soon disappeared.

"WARDES!!!" Sora howled in rage as he jumped into the air but the viscount blocked this attack. Next thing he knew black winds appeared as he pushed Sora and the guards back. Sora the force of the wind knocked his Starlight keyblade out of his hand but he managed to keep a hold of Derflinger as he fell flat on his back.

Wardes pointed his sword right in Sora's face, he stared with a calm face. He turned over to one of the pillars of the church. "Cromwell, get out of here. I will handle this insect."

A figure with blond hair emerged from behind the pillar before he stared at Wardes. "There better be an explanation when this is over Wardes." He demanded before he raced out the doors. Sora remembered the name of the man who stole the ring that belonged to the water.

He saw what he looked like and memorized his face. 'So he's Cromwell?'

"Hm. I expected them to kill you. But it seems they left the job undone."

"So all this time you really were working with the guy in black and Fouquet?"

"Yes and as you see. This is the power that was granted to me by a supporter of Reconquista." He said as he raised his hand and looked at the dark aura. "I have never felt so powerful in my life." He laughed. Wardes must have been getting help from the organization member.

"Louise come with me. This world could be in the palm of our grasp." He said to the petite pink girl.

"You're insane!" She cried out with tears in her eyes. "After what you have done, I will never marry you."

"People change overtime, I am who I am."

"…I don't believe that. The way Louise would talk about you. She respected you so much, and you toyed with her heart like this!" Sora wouldn't ever forgive him for this.

"Your feelings again? I told you already as long as you have that you'll continue to be weak, in this world power and status mean more than anything."

"...So what!" Sora pushed his sword away from him and got up and held Derflinger tight in his left hand "Like you said. 'I am who I am.' But unlike you I don't plan on changing the person I am. I know on my own I'm not strong and yeah people say I'm too nice of a guy, and you know what, I'm fine with that."

"You're okay with that?"

"...Power and rank mean someone to nobles like you but they mean nothing to me. It's the people who I met, the friends that I made that I treasure more than anything else. You've been wrong about me, Wardes, especially as to where my strength comes from; not from the keyblade or anything else, but from the friends I made, the memories we all share both good and bad, the connection that we forge. I'm a part of their hearts and their part of mine." He gripped Derflinger tight and slowly raised his right hand.

Derf began to glow a bright color as the lights soon consumed him and a dark energy started to form in Sora's palm.

"That's where my strength comes from and it will always be that. My friends are my power!" A dark keyblade had appeared in Sora's right hand and Derflinger changed in his left, no longer a rusted sword but looking more brand new. The keybearer was taken back for a moment.

"Wha?"

[Ha Ha! Now I'm back!]

Wardes shot at Sora with new found speed, barely giving him time to block the attack, the viscount continued with oncoming slash, Sora's eyes widened he couldn't believe how much stronger Wardes is now. Was he actually holding this power back all along?

Sora managed to find an opening and parry a diagonal slash and retaliate with his own attacks.

The Viscount moved back and streaks of electricity traveled his blade. He trusted his staff forward and sent lightning out of it.

[Use me to block it!] Without a second thought Sora did what the sword said to do. Much to his surprise the lightning was actually being absorbed.

'He absorbed my spell?' Wardes was shocked

"How did you-?"

[Like I said. I exist for the purpose of being used by Gandálfr. It's not me doing the fighting, listen to your heart and follow the passion it leads too!]

Sora couldn't help but smile at his words as he was in a duel wielding stance. Now it was time to get serious, Sora point Oblivion in front of the viscount and cast Fira at him which the viscount quickly dodged but he didn't have enough time to react when Sora brought oblivion right to his rib and sent him flying to the pillar.

Wardes stood up and roared in anger, fired a stream of dark winds at Sora and did a high jump in the air. He landed and Wardes conjured lightning that was black coated and dark. Sora used Flowmotion, a blue aura surrounding his body and began bouncing off the pillars in the church.

The treacherous viscount couldn't hit him; he just kept moving with such speed.

"Stand still!" Wardes yelled.

Sora evaded another bolt of lightning before pushing off a pillar he was on and like a bullet he launched at Wardes.

"Take this!" Sora murmured, slashing his keyblade and his sword repeatedly. He stopped and did a backflip landing on his feet before pushing off his footing slamming the flat sides of his swords against Wardes, the strength behind his attack was enough to send him flying across the room. He fell and landed on his shoulder which he soon held in pain as he coughed up blood.

"Sora…"

Sora looked over his shoulder and saw Louise walking slowly to him, as she reached him their eyes locked onto one another. There was a silence between but Sora smiled at her, that was his way of telling her everything is going to be okay.

Wardes tried to get up, glaring a fierce look. "Damn you!" He cursed

"It's over Wardes." Sora said calmly, still holding his weapons.

"It is not over. Not by a long shot!" He said with a triumphant smirk. Suddenly, a bright light emitted from the staff before the entire church began to crumble to the ground. He glared with a twisted smile "If I can't have you Louise. Then I will see that you die here. You and that familiar."

"WAIT!!!"

"You may have won the battle Sora…But inevitably I will win this war." Sora could only watch helplessly as Wardes turned and departed, leaving both he and Louise at the mercy of the falling building.

"Come on, we got to go!"

"But the letter!"

"There's no time!" He shook his head as he looked up at the crumbling ceiling. He closed his eyes, keeping Louise's head safe from the falling debris.

"LEVITATION!" two voices echoed. Suddenly Sora found himself surrounded by a sphere of energy before they were shot out of the top of the church. He looked around before his eyes widened. Tabitha and Kirche were standing there with their wands Guiche waved at them. He smiled at his friends as they brought him and Louise down to the ground.

Flashback

In the middle of a small pond a single boat stayed in the middle of the pond. In the boat was a young Louise who was crying.

"Louise." A voice was heard she looked up and saw a younger version of her now ex-fiance appear.

"Viscount?" Young Louise said in question as he brought out his hand. But she looked at the arm that was out and she recognized a familiar looking gauntlet. She looked at Wardes again.

"Don't cry Louise." His voice changed "I promise I'm here." The person who was talking to her was no longer Wardes but Sora.

Flashback End

Louise's eyes slowly began to open. The stars were out and it was a tad chilly, she didn't realize it was night, or the fact she was on the grass, Louise got up.

"You're awake!" She heard Sora's voice and she immediately turned to the left looking at him.

"Sora…" He gave a warm smile. She stared at him, her face heated up a bit. She took a look and witnessed the church completely burned. She looked so heavy-hearted, realizing what had happened.

Sora lightly put his hand onto her back and shook his head with a doleful look. The group rode on Sylphid's back. They were headed to the castle in Tristain.

Meanwhile Louise was completely discouraged. "The prince…This….This is all my fault."

"Louise…"

"You were right about Wardes…. And I didn't listen." Tears ran down her face. "I put my trust in him, when I should have trusted you!"

"Don't… He was your fiancé, plus the way you defended him like that means you guys might've had a history."

"It doesn't matter!" She cried out "The prince is dead because of me, and there is a chance we might go to war. And I'm to blame!"

"This isn't on you." He said as she faced him with a sad look.

"Why are you always so nice to me!" Louise said "Every time I treated you so unfairly, less than a person, normal people would hate others like that, so why don't you hate me, why are you kind to me, why do you keep saving me!"

She laid out her feelings. Why is someone like Sora always caring for her all the time? She didn't understand it. Not at all!

Sora sighed, staring at her with a very serious expression "... Because you're someone important to me." He said she viewed him

"Yeah we fought, we don't always agree, and how we met wasn't exactly a good meeting. But you know what, it really didn't matter. We still got to learn a bit about one another and little by little I could tell you were starting to trust me a little. Besides this isn't just on you, it's my fault for not being here sooner. Earlier I wasn't really acting like myself at all, after our duel I was thinking about how I almost lost everything, I was frustrated and depressed. I really wasn't acting like the Sora you guys know."

He thought about his discussion with Guiche. "But you know, Guiche was there to set me straight. I'm fine with staying the person I am." He placed his hand over his heart "I would do anything to protect my friends and that includes you too. And really, you think about how you try to whip me and make me sleep on the floor is bad, I've been through a lot worse situations in my life."

Louise didn't believe a single word of what he said "You say that, but there has to be a small part of you that doesn't like me?"

He gently placed his hand on her face and slowly brought her pink eyes to his blue ones. "I stay true to my feelings and my heart, so believe me I'm not lying to you at all. I don't hate you and I never will so listen to me when I tell you this: When you think you don't need me or if you might be in trouble, I promise you…" He brought his hand to her eye and wiped the tear. "...I'll be by your side, and I'll come and save you, no matter how many times it takes."

Louise gasped, her heart began beating faster and louder.

"Besides, what's a familiar without their master?" He said reassuringly. Losing all sense of reason, Louise closed her eyes, grabbed hold of his face and started kissing him on the lips.

Kirche watched this and she was furious. 'What the hell! Why!!'

Louise pulled away and held tightly onto Sora. And Sora wasn't sure what just happened he tried to speak. But Louise told him not to, she asked to let her stay like this, holding on to him, Sora wasn't sure what to say but she seemed to have needed this he replied not just with words but with a hug also.

"Sure." He said while embracing her as Sylphid flew in the night.

"...Thank you."

End.
