Chapter 20: Heroes' intervention
Ochaco quickly rushes in before using her quirk to send the villains into the air where Izu and Hisashi work together to finished them off, while Samantha, Tyler, Audrey, and Nelson made sure that the girls are alright until the rest of the IHWO came to see what's happening. Soon, Hisashi uses blackwhip to restrain the villains before his dad warned them not to mess with their daughter again, which caused the villains to admit that they are aware of Kouna's extreme strength and impulsiveness as Hisashi sternly look at his twin sister. After the villains made a run for it, Izu and Ochaco immediately hugged their daughter before they dragged her back to their boat, causing everyone to follow them as Izu told Kouna that there will be no mochi for her for a week, while Ochaco kept bawling angrily. Izuku then told Kouna that he hopes she's happy because she just made her mother cry. Meanwhile, the students of Warcraft Academy and their teachers reported about Kouna's relationship with Izuku and Ochaco, causing Randall to tell everybody that since Kouna is reckless and impulsive, he has an idea to use this as their advantage to destroy peace and harmony.
Back on Harmony Island, the girls decided to take full responsibility for their involvement in Kouna's reckless mission, causing Izu to say that it won't be necessary before telling his comrades and the class 1a boys to take the girls back home so he can have a talk with Kouna. After everyone (including Ochaco) left Izu behind with Kouna, Izuku call his daughter over before sternly telling her that he's very disappointed in her because she got herself and her cousins in danger without thinking or asking about why she's not needed for the mission, causing Kouna to say that she was just trying to take his advice, which also caused Izu to sigh and told Kouna that what she did wasn't the right way to prove herself as a hero because if she could just slow down and asks question about the mission, she would know that her strength combined with one for all and zero gravity isn't enough to defeat the villains and their monsters. He then told Kouna that the villains somehow managed to recover the dust particles of invincibond, causing Kouna to remember her dad talking about George's exclusive power when she was six.
Soon, Hisashi came to his dad and twin sister just as Izu grounded Kouna for two weeks along with no tv and no late-night snacking, before adding that since Kouna was the one who got the idea of taking down the Warcraft of Doom without anyone knowing, Hisashi is going to work with their cousins to make sure she doesn't do anything more reckless and irresponsible. Kouna then begged her brother and father to give her another chance to make things right, causing Hisashi to say that if she wants another chance to be a pro hero, then she needs stop being a simple girl. After Izu agrees with Hisashi, he reminded Kouna the reason why Hisashi is going to be number 1 in the World Hero Billboard Awards in the future, which caused Kouna to feel guilty as Hisashi and their dad take her home. When they got home, Izu, Ochaco, and Hisashi disconnected the tv on the third floor taking away her toys because she's grounded for two weeks. Kouna then asks to take a walk outside, where she overheard citizens of Harmony Island talking about how reckless and simple she was today before questioning the Midoriya name if she's one of them. Kouna then made a sad sound that Ochaco does before walking down the street as she sang a song called "just a simple girl", which is about how she was overshadowed by her twin brother and wondered if she really is just a simple girl. After the song ends with Kouna filled with determination to prove that she's not a simple girl, she returns home to see her parent answering questions of the press regarding her being an orphan, causing the parents themselves to deny this before revealing that Kouna is just different, which also caused Kouna to run inside in tears. Izu and Ochaco then asks the press to excuse them before heading inside to talk to their daughter.
