"Could you shut up for 10 seconds?" Will smiled at her. "I'm glad you came here, I'll take the press every day for the rest of my life if that means you're in it again." He took her hand again, he let go of it when he grabbed her face to kiss her. "I've been wanting to kiss you ever since you walked in yesterday." He kissed her again when she smiled back at him. "Okay?"

She smiled and nodded. "Okay." She squeezed his hand. "What took you so long?"

"We are still standing in front of the windows." Jamie said. "Do you mind if we move somewhere more private?"

Will nodded. "Of course, let's go to my office." He didn't let go off her hand as they walked there.

"Could you thank the glee club for me later? And whoever it was that was in the middle."

Will smiled. "That was Emma, guidance counsellor." He opened the door to his office and let everyone in. "She was happy to help, they all were." He looked at Jamie and Kimmy. "I'm sorry, I'm Will." He said before reaching out to shake their hands.

"I'm Jamie, her bodyguard."

"Kimmy, her PA."

"So, is this normal then?" He motioned to the general direction of the parking lot. "This is really your life?" They all nodded. "Wow, I never really thought about that when I saw you on tv or in a magazine."

"Will, I'm sorry but we need to give your parents a call." She smiled at him. "And Terri."

"Oh yeah of course."

"They didn't mention your name in the article, so they probably didn't have it yet, but since they were standing in front the school I'm sure they do by now. Just ask them to say absolutely nothing."

Will nodded and grabbed his phone to dial his parents, he hadn't had any missed calls so the news probably hadn't reached them yet. "Hey dad," he said as the phone was answered. "how are you doing?"

"I'm good son. Is something wrong that you're calling?"

"Not exactly wrong, but I need to ask you a favour."

"Sure, anything."

"Do you remember Alicia? From glee club?"

"We could never forget her Will, she practically lived at our house senior year of high school."

"Right, well it's possible that you'll get questions about her, or me. She's in town, I had dinner with her last night. There were pictures taken and printed in several magazines. They're at the school and everything."

"Ok, what should I say?"

"Nothing, absolutely nothing. Not that you know her, not that you don't know her. Just nothing at all, would be great. 'no comment' and hang up the phone or walk away."

"Sure, we can do that. I will tell your mom."

"Thank you so much dad, I'll explain everything later. I need to call Terri."

"Of course, good luck with that son." His father hung up the phone.

Will smiled at Alicia. "Done, he said they won't say anything." He looked at his phone and sighed. "Terri.. are you sure they'll find her? That I even need to call her?"

"Pretty sure Will, it's a small town. If someone asks around about you, your ex-wife will come up for sure."

"Right." He still looked at his phone. "It's just.. she isn't.. a big fan of yours.. and we didn't break up in the best of.. circumstances." He didn't look at Alicia. "Giving her this information, might accomplish the opposite."

"She doesn't hate me that much does she? Or you for that matter."

Will shrugged. "She might. She always saw you as a threat and if she sees those pictures.."

"She can't open her mouth Will. She can't go spreading bullshit about me always being after you, even when you were married."

"We weren't even in touch since the wedding, it's not true."

"It doesn't matter if it's true. It matters that people will want to read it." She sat down in a chair and let her head fall in her hands, she really hadn't been thinking this through enough. She didn't count on Terri having this much power over her life, not after high school. She looked up at Will and smiled at him. "I don't.. Kimmy what do you think?"

"To call or not to call?" Alicia nodded. "I.. I think you should call Sven, ask him."

"Yeah, good idea." She grabbed her phone and scrolled towards Sven. "Isn't it fun to be around me?" She smiled at Will as she dialed Sven and put the phone to her ear. He picked up immediately. "Sven, hi."

"Alicia, hey. Are you with Kimmy and Jamie?"

"Yeah, we're with Will at the school. He just called his parents, to ask them not to say anything."

"Good, Good. Sounds like you're handling it, I was just looking on the internet. Checking if they've written anything new."

"And?"

"It's uuh, it could be worse." She heard him click something. "It says that he's Will Schuester, high school Spanish and glee teacher." She heard him scroll down. "Oh.."

"What Sven?"

"They are smelling a story Alicia, it has a picture of you and him in glee together. They are talking to someone. It says here that an anonymous source told them that you and Will were best friends, that you did everything together. That after you graduated, you went to L.A. and he married his high school girlfriend Terri Del Monico. That there always had been rivalry between you and Terri, you both wanted to be with Will. Have you been able to reach this Terri yet?"

"No, that was what I was calling you for. They didn't get divorced in the best of circumstances, and she wasn't a fan of mine in high school. As you can read in the damn article."

"Oh, but he's divorced? He's not married anymore?" Sven sounded relieved.

"NO! God no! No he's divorced, last year."

"Good, because that would be an even bigger nightmare."

"But we don't know what will happen once we talk to her, Will thinks she might go talk to them because we ask her not to."

It was silent for a second. "Can you make her sign a NDA?"

Alicia laughed. "I don't think that will happen, no."

"What could you do?"

"I could punch her knock-out for a couple of hours." She heard Will chuckle next to her.

"Effective, but let's not." She could hear that Sven was smiling.

She shook her head. "I don't know Sven, usually we make people sign NDA's before they know anything they can use. I'm out of depth here, what do I do? Try to get her to sign a NDA, talk to the press myself to get out in front of it, ask her for help?"

She heard a notification on Sven's computer. "Hold on." Sven said, he was silent for a couple of seconds. "Do you want the good or the bad news first?"

Alicia sighed loudly, her shoulders slumping. "Good news first."

"You don't have to worry about talking to Terri anymore."

"Oh crap. If that's the good news.. what did she do?"

"She just gave a lengthy interview, or I guess she gave it a couple of hours ago." She heard him scroll again. "She.. you should read this yourself, I'll send you the name of the site." She heard her phone ping, telling her she had a message. "I'll ask Sophia to come up with a statement. You and Will are just friends right?"

"Uhm. Until like 10 minutes ago, right now I have no clue."

He sighed. "You have crappy timing Alicia, are you sure you can trust him?"

"With my life, Sven."

"Ok, I'll call Sophia. Let you know when we've got a statement for you to look at."

"Ok, bye." She hung up her phone. "Do you have a computer Will?"

"Yeah, why?" He handed her his unlocked laptop.

She went to the site Sven had sent her, he told her to just go to the homepage. There was no way she could miss it. He was right, it was on the homepage in big letters. 'Alicia Florrick, the charts aren't the only thing she's tried to steal.' She sighed loudly before clicking the link. She and Will read it together, Terri had indeed given an interview. She grabbed her 15 minutes of fame, she told them about Alicia and Will in high school, how Alicia had always been in love with Will and was jealous of her relationship with him. That Alicia had tried to steal him from her, and that hadn't changed after high school. Even on her wedding day Alicia had tried to convince Will not to marry her, that Alicia was a much better choice. Alicia now finally had her way, she and Will had gotten divorced because of Alicia and now Alicia was in town to seal the deal with Will. Alicia had read enough and shoved the laptop in Will's lap. "I will kill her." She was turning red. "So help me god, if I run into her.." Will didn't say anything, he was still reading. It was a good thing that she didn't read it all, it only became worse.

"Ally, I'm so sorry." He said quietly. "This will destroy your image."

She turned to him, suddenly feeling bad for reacting like this. "My team will fix it, don't worry." She took his hand. "You're not responsible for her actions Will, not anymore. Sophia, my PR person is on it. She will make a nice little statement." Her phone started ringing 'Sophia'. "That was fast." She answered the phone.

"Sophia, how are you doing?"

"Fine, how are you?"

"I'm.. ok.." She sighed. "Sven called you right?"

"Yeah, I just have some questions about the situation."

"Shoot."

"When did Will and Terri get divorced?"

"July last year, so almost a year."

"Okay, and you hadn't been in touch with him right? So how long had you not spoken to him?"

"Since his wedding day, so that's.. about 8 years ago I think. And before that we weren't really much in contact either."

"Ok, have you ever had an affair with him while he was with Terri, either during his marriage or before?"

"No! I can't believe you're asking me that Sophia, you know me better then that. I don't have affairs. Ever."

"Just checking Alicia, you know how this works. I can't assume anything and I need to know the whole story if I wanna fix it."

Alicia sighed. "Will was with Terri, I never did anything to compromise that. I never gave Will bad advice intentionally, if he came to me about his relationship with Terri I always, always, gave him advice I thought was in the best interest of his relationship with Terri. "

"Okay, and were you indeed in love with him back then?"

"Yes." Alicia said begrudgingly.

"Okay, Sven said you're not just friends?"

"We're.. I don't know Sophia." She glanced at Will, who was listening to her side of the conversation intently. "I honestly don't."

"Okay." Sophia was quiet for a couple of seconds. "We've had a discussion here, if it's best to just ignore the interview or to comment. What would you prefer?"

"I would prefer to beat the shit out of Terri." Alicia was getting more mad with every minute.

Sophia laughed. "That's not one of the options."

"I never like keeping my mouth shut, you know that."

"Are you okay giving the statement yourself?"

"Yes, I would prefer that actually."

"Okay, we'll do that but you have to promise me Alicia. Promise me you won't answer any questions."

"I promise."

"Can you ballpark the amount of press outside the school for me?"

"Maybe.. 40 people? Photographers, camera-crew.."

"Okay, how about you go to the principal to check if you can use the auditorium for your statement. That will be quiet, and you should feel comfortable there."

"Sounds good, send me the statement?"

"Yes, give me 15 minutes."

Alicia hung up the phone. "Will, I need to talk to your principal. Ask if we can borrow the auditorium for a quick statement."

Will got up. "Sure, follow me." He extended his hand and led the way to Figgins' office. He knocked before they entered, and Alicia quickly let go of his hand before someone would notice.

Figgins looked up when they entered. "Ms Florrick!" He said enthusiastically. "What could I possibly do for you?"

"Alicia, please. Principal, I would like to borrow your auditorium for a quick statement. As I'm sure you've noticed there's some.. press outside." He nodded. "There has been an interview on a website.. long story short, I need to give out a statement. Since the press is already here I hoped we could use your auditorium."

"Of course Alicia!" He said happily as he got up. "Anything you need, could I bother you for an autograph?"

"Of course, anything for the principal that brought back the glee-club." She smiled as she signed a piece of paper 'Principal Figgins, may your days be filled with glee.' Will had told her how reluctant he was to bring it back, but she hoped this would make him less inclined to cancel the club again.

"Maybe a picture also?"

"Sure." She smiled as he handed Will his phone and moved to stand next to her. "Thank you, for the auditorium."

"The glee-club is the only one scheduled to use it today, but I'm sure you can talk to mister Schuester." He smiled.

"I'm sure I'll manage. Thank you." She smiled at him before turning around and leaving the room. Right then her phone buzzed, Sophia sent her the statement. She quickly read it over before nodding and putting the phone back. "We're all set." She looked at Will. "When do you need the auditorium?"

"Whenever, it doesn't matter."

She walked back to Will's office. "Ok. Kimmy, can you go out front and tell them that you will come get them for a statement in.. let's say 60 minutes. " She checked her watch, it was almost 11:30.

"Sure." Kimmy said, she turned to leave but stopped. "How do I get there?"

Will smiled. "Take a left here and a right at the end of the hall."

Alicia stepped out of his office into the choir room. She walked towards the piano and ran her fingers over the keys and sat down. She looked at Will. "Sing with me?"

"It'd be my pleasure." He sat down next to her on the stool. "What do you want to play?"

"Hozier, take me to church." She placed her fingers on the keys. "I'm assuming you know it?" He just smiled at her and raised her eyebrows. She started playing the chords and they sung the together. She smiled at him as she finished.

"You want to take me to church huh?"

She smiled. "Church is not the place I was thinking of.. " She got up. "But first I have this damn statement to learn." She grabbed her phone again. "Wait, don't you have a class or something?"

"Yes, five minutes." He leaned in to kiss her but she stopped him with a hand on his chest.

"Too much glass." She turned away and got up. "Everyone will be looking at us Will. We can't just.." She shook her head, she'd been doing a lot of that today. "I'm sorry, my life-"

"Could you please, for the love of god stop apologising. I want to be with you Ally, not just as your friend. I want to be with you, I want to go out with you, I want to stay in with you. You can't scare me away with a bunch of gossip magazines. I was flirting with you last night, I took your hand. I don't care if that means that the press will haunt me, I don't care if they throw mud at me. All I care about is you. That you're okay, that you're having a good time."

"Are you sure?" Will nodded. "I'll try not to apologise anymore."

"Good. Now I have to get to my class, are you going to be okay with the statement?"

"Yes, it's better if you're not there anyway."

"Okay. I will see you later, I'm cooking for you tonight. In my apartment which is not ground floor and does not have any glass without curtains." He smiled at her before leaving, not giving her a chance to say no.

"Alicia, it's almost time." Kimmy said. "I'll go get the press and take them to the auditorium."

"Sounds good. We'll be there." She looked at Jamie and smiled at him. "I hope you didn't have any plans for this week? I already ruined too many people's weeks."

Jamie smiled politely and shook his head. "I was on stand-by so my only plans were within 30 minutes of the airport with a go-bag in the trunk so I could fly here in case of emergency."

Alicia laughed. "Sounds like you were better prepared for this than I was." She checked her watch. "Let's go."

She looked at the seats in the auditorium that were filling up as she stood hidden next to the stage. Kimmy joined her and smiled before she spoke up. "Looks like they called in even more people."

"Yeah. Great." She took a microphone and checked it was still turned off. "Let's get this over with." She walked on stage and turned on the microphone, hearing herself over the speaker. "Hello, I'm going to give you all a quick statement. I will not answer any questions afterwards. There have been some rumours about me in the magazines today. Yes, I did have dinner yesterday with my old friend Will, I hadn't talked to him in about 8 years. I'm sure you can all imagine wanting to catch up with an old friend. Yesterday I learned about his divorce, I was sorry to hear about the circumstances surrounding that. However, I had nothing to do with his divorce. The last time I had seen Will was on his wedding day, on which I congratulated both him and Terri and wished them only good things. My relationship with Terri has never been easy, but I've always supported her relationship with Will and have never done anything to harm that. Furthermore I would ask you not to swarm the school or any people surrounding these rumours. The school is a place were children come to learn, not to be harassed by photographers asking them questions about their teacher. This will be all for today, thank you." She turned off the microphone and ignored all the questions that were being shouted, hoping she would be pulled into answering some anyway. Sophia had made the statement vague enough so that no one knew if she was dating Will or not.
