It's Up to Me

Chapter 06

Harry gulped great lungfuls of air and opened his eyes. Instead of Ragnarok's office, he now stands in front of a massive black gate. Two roaring lion marble statues sat beside it. Harry glanced ahead but couldn't see the manor.

Must be the Wards.

He took a step forward only to stumble backwards with a gasp. He fixed his gaze on one of the marble statues. Harry froze and his eyes widened as the statue came alive. Enhanced statue. Abandoning the position it sat before, the lion statue came in front of him and lowered his head to bow to him.

"Greetings, Lord Potter." said the deep voice of the lion.

"G… Greetings." Harry blurted. The lion's milky eyes fixed on him as if it could see the deepest of his soul.

"You may enter, My Lord." With a bow, the statue went back to its usual position as the statue had never been alive before. Sometimes magic does strange things.

Licking his dry lips, Harry opened the gate. The strong scent of wood welcomed him as soon as he entered. He took a deep breath while closing his eyes, the smell of oak entered his lungs. A new home. Harry smiled at the thought. When he opened his eyes, Harry gasped.

A tall statue of a woman in the middle of a pond. A calm smile decorated her face. Inside the pond, some lily pads and water lilies stood idly on the water. Flapping wings of the birds and their squawking carry through the winds. The wind rustles the leaves of the nearby trees. Everything, much more alive and colourful. Behind the pond proudly stood the Potter manor. The white stones of the manor glowed under the Sun's fierce light.

"This is his home." Harry hummed.

Observing the surroundings around him, taking in the beauty of his home, Harry rambled on to the Front door. With a deep breath, Harry pushed the door inside. It opened with a loud creak. Reminding the long time that passed since it last opened. He stepped inside, examining the waiting room. Some landscape paintings hung on the wall while two sofas stood in the corner. Simple and beautiful.

"Master…!" Harry glances at the house elf. His eyebrow raised. When the hell did he come?

"Who are you?" He asked.

"I is Dip Master," Dip exclaimed.

"Well, Hello Dip. Are you the only one here?" Harry asked with a smile.

"No Master. There are others."

"Call the others if you can please," Harry said while also calling Dobby.

Seven house elves gathered around him. Their smiles widened when they saw him.

"Hello everyone, My Name is Harrison Potter. Please introduce yourself."

Harry scanned the crowded street of Diagon Alley in front of him. He let out a breath as he ambled on. no familiar faces. Thank Merlin for that.

Harry noticed the second clothing shop last time. But Hagrid didn't let him go to that shop. Maybe he can now. Harry strolled to the Twilfit Tatting's. A man approached him after he entered.

"Greetings Lord Potter-Gryffindor, My name is Ryan Corner. How may I assist you, My Lord?" The man eyed his lordship's rings and formally addressed him.

"Greetings, Mr.Corner. I require Six formal robes, 10 Everyday robes, 10 black slim-fit trousers, 5 cotton pyjamas, and ten sets of white socks. One pair of Dragon hide gloves and 2 dragon-hide boots."

"Of course. Any idea about the colour, my lord?"

"Light colours, please."

"Very well My Lord. I need to measure you." Harry nodded at him.

After informing the other that his house elf will collect the order, Harry left the shop. He eyed the next shop, Madam Primpernell's Beautifying Potions. He bowed his head down and away for a moment. Am I really going there? With a sigh, Harry entered the shop. Harry blinked at the older woman as he noticed the book in her hand. On the book cover, a man and a woman stare at each other. Harry blushed. Too sweet. Upon noticing him, she grinned.

"A potter. How wonderful. Come and sit Mr. Potter. You probably need a haircut. Maybe a few hair products as well. Maybe we could, length your hair." She exclaimed. She clapped her hands together as she grinned like a Cheshire cat.

Harry shrugged. Strange woman. He made his way to the chair in front of the mirror and sat down.

"I do need a haircut, a short one for now."

"A simple or stylish one?"

"Simple one." She pouted at him. Ahh… She is a grown woman, for Merlin's sake.

"Alright. Let's get started" Harry rolled her eyes at the woman.

After getting his haircut, he brought many hair products, including shampoo and conditioner.

Harry hummed as he eyed the items in the Stationary Store. He took a parchment roll that, labelled as Never Ending Parchments.

"Excuse me…?" Harry called the man who sat behind the counter.

"yea..? How may I help you, young man?" The middle-aged man asked with a small smile.

"What is a Never Ending parchment?" He asked.

"Ah… Never-ending parchment is exactly like the name. They never end. They are expensive." The man explained.

"Oh… Thank you for telling me." Harry smiled.

"You are welcome." Harry decide to purchase one Never ending parchment roll as he scanned the other items.

When Harry took his items to pay, the man eyed them with raised eyebrows. He brought a quality Never Ending Parchment Roll with Envelopes, Regular, unending parchment rolls, an expensive 10 calligraphy pen set, a few regular quills, one Phoenix quill, one Thunderbird quill, a few ink pots in various colours, and drawing supplies.

He also brought 10 never-ending notebooks, a 100-page drawing book for practice, and one never-ending drawing. He used to enjoy drawing and was rather excellent at it.

He left for the second-hand bookshop close to the stationery store after paying one hundred and 37 galleons. He flipped through books for a few moments. Then he brought some school books with notes in them. Together with these, he brought several old parseltongue books and books in other languages. His eyes widened when he found that he could still understand the language of snakes. And even found some books on it. He could ask Ragnorok about it.

Compared to Diagon and Knockturn, Harry found is Carkitt Market is more stunning. Cleaned road, colourful buildings. He decided to visit Stowe Packers Magical Bags first. He rubbed his eyes after seeing so many suitcases and trunks.

"How may I help you, My lord?" Harry freezes. He turned and narrowed his eyes at the man. How in Merlin's hell did come to me unnoticed?

"I would like to purchase a trunk."

"Of course my lord, let me show you our best trunks."

He decided to purchase a 7-compartment. Inside, a small library, a wardrobe, a Cupboard for potions, a bathroom with a small pool, a study, a storage area for school supplies, and a huge empty room. Also, he to purchase a backpack and a coin purse with four compartments.

He left the shop grinning. Harry attempted to choose a watch at Cogg and Bell Clockmakers. So far, the majority of them while breathtaking, not his taste. After some consideration, he chose to purchase three watches made of white gold. Each of them has a golden dragon, a phoenix, and a griffin in the centre of the watches, Harry believes he fell in love with those watches.
