Author's Note: Yeah, I'm doing another one. I just got into Tales of Arcadia, ( and watched the ending, which… what the actual f*ck), I did finish Trollhunters, so how about a swap AU where Claire's the Trollhunter, just with a few changes. Oh, also, characters and worlds belong to Nintendo.

(Claire's POV)

A sleepy town called Arcadia Oaks is not all that it seems. That's what I learned when one day I woke up late. When I woke up, I looked out and saw a bright, beautiful sun go through her window. Then I saw the time.

"Shoot, I'm late," I said.

I quickly looked around, and saw my parents were gone to work. While I'll get scolded by her parents, I can at least get to school without much fuss. I got dressed, ate, and unlocked her bike and left the house to reach school quickly.

I did know one way to reach school in time. The canals. I heard of one of her classmates taking it, and arriving at about the same time as the rest of the people.

I took the quickest path to the canals, and launched off there and into the canals. I was about to pass a group of rocks under the bridge when…

"Claire,"

I heard my name came from that pile of rocks. I thought it was just my mind playing tricks, but then it repeated again.

"Claire Nunez."

I looked around.

"Ok, who's saying that," I asked.

Then I checked the pile of rocks. It was there I saw a glow. After moving the rocks, I saw a weird looking stopwatch. It was made of metal, with two hands, a weird craving on the side, and a stone in the middle glowing blue.

"Did you speak to me," I asked.

It didn't respond. It just layed there.

I grabbed it to get a closer inspection, but as I did, it glowed bright. Before I knew it, the watch glowed from blue to purple.

"That's weird," I said to myself.

Suddenly, the last bell rang.

"Oh, the last bell," I said, as I went to school quickly.

(Later)

I arrived at Mr. Strickler's class halfway through his lesson. I took my seat, hoping Strickler didn't notice me.

"Ms. Nuñez, can you explain why you are late,"

He noticed.

"I just slept in. I promise it won't happen again," I said.

"It better not," he said, "Now, continuing on…"

"Claire, are you okay," my best friend, Darcy, said, "You're usually never late."

"Yeah, it is incredibly off of you," Mary, my other best friend said.

"Yeah, I don't know," I said, "I must have been off today."

(Later)

It was gym class, and we had just finished our turn on the rope. We were just waiting for the class to be over, when a boy in my class came to us.

"Hey there, my name is Jim Lake Jr.," he said, "And I heard you needed more people in a play."

I was shocked. How did he know that? We have been looking for people for the play, and the best we got was Steve, who is an incredible jerk. I guess this could work, but the way he said it, it was so casual. Like he knew me.

"Yeah, we're having trouble getting any boys to participate in the play," I explained, "Do you like Shakespeare?"

"Yeah, love it," he said.

"Ok then, auditions are tomorrow," I said.

"Good to know," he said, "See you then."

(Later)

The rest of the school day went normal. The new kid, Krel, got an A+ on maths. It was kinda insane. Jim got called to the principal's office after he offered to be a part of the play. I didn't mind, since I always thought Mr. Strickler had a soft spot for him.

Later, I saw Steve argue with another one of our classmates, Eli. He's kind of a conspiracy theorist of the town.

"So what was it about, what was that again," Steve asked.

"Giant rock monsters," Eli said.

"Right," Steve said.

"It's true, you gotta believe me," Eli said.

"Eli,"

Krel came to his aid, only to be elbowed into a wall. Krel became good friends with Eli, as well as Toby, Jim's best friend.

"Oof, I kinda feel bad," Darci said.

"We can do something about it," I suggested.

"And get in trouble with Steve, yeah, no thanks," Mary shuddered.

"Steve!"

We turned to see another one of the new kids, Aja, sister to Krel, stand up to him.

"Leave him alone," she said.

"Oh yeah, and what are you going to do," Steve questions.

Steve went in for a punch, only for her to dodge under him, and gave him a left hook to the face. All we did is stand and watch, the almighty Steve get punched in the face.

Steve just stayed down in awe and shock.

It was at that moment that the bell rang, and we went back home.

(That evening)

My parents were still out. They texted me, saying that they were busy, so I decided to put Enrique to bed and then check on the weird clock thing. It was still purple instead of blue, and I wondered if it was supposed to do that.

But as I did, the writing on the side changed. Changing from Spanish, to I think Chinese, then to English.

"For the peace of magic-kind, Nightmare is mind to command."

It at first did nothing. But then, purple flames flew into my chest. As it did, I felt my feet fly off the ground. I was levitating.

Then, pieces of armour flew all around me. One by one, they clamped onto me until they formed a silver armour. It had purple outlines on it, as the clock itself flew onto my chest.

"This… is… so, freaking, COOL," I said.

This felt amazing. I felt a type of energy flow all around me.

That same energy then formed in my hand. Suddenly, that energy gained an actual form in a giant sword. I lifted the sword up, as I felt the weight of it fall on my hand. It was kinda heavy, but I could lift it.

This felt so weird and cool. I couldn't help but smile.

Then the doorbell rang.

'My parents,' I though to myself.

I tried to get it off (try to explain to your parents why you have armour that's glowing purple all of a sudden) when I heard a different voice.

"Douxie, this is a bad idea, I'm telling you,"

"Well it's too late Arch, we're here,"

There were two unfamiliar voices. I knew they weren't my parents. As I breathed a sigh of relief, I suddenly heard that voice.

"Hey, uh, I can hear you," he said, "So, I'm just here for delivery, for your dad."

Delivery? For dad? Yeah, no buddy.

"Sorry, but my dad's not here," I said.

"Oh, that's okay, I can just let myself in, and leave it for you," he said, "Your door is unlocked."

"Wait, wait wait, no no no no," I said, as I tried to close it, only for the door to swing open, and me to fall onto the person.

The person had a blue streak of hair in his overall black hair, a black sweater, skinny jeans, and a bracelet on his right wrist.

"Douxie, are you okay,"

I looked and saw a cat with glasses. And it spoke. In full English.

"Did the cat just… did it just," I stuttered.

"Talk, yes well, thank you for noticing," it said.

"Arch," the man, whose name seems to be Douxie, said.

"Anyways, I am Douxie, the apprentice of Merlin, yes that Merlin," he explained, "And you, fair Claire, have been chosen as his newest champion, the Trollhunter. But… it seems to have some side effects on you. Not only are you the first human Trollhunter, but also have something weird going on. We can check it out at Hex Tech, so do you say?"

I fainted after all that.

Author's Note: So, another fanfic. I'm actually working on two Trollhunters fanfic, so that will be interesting. Anyways, I'm back, and hopefully, no big plans for a bit. See you later.
