Hello everyone. Here is the Encanto sequel as promised. In this story, I will be using Encanto songs and other songs. I own none of these songs. In each chapter, I will point out which these songs belong. This chapter will feature What a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong and Perfection by Channing Tatum from the movie Smallfoot.
Full Plot Summary:
With the ones who truly love them and a miracle candle created by their love for one another, Juano and Mirabel couldn't be happier in their new home: Milagro de Amor. When their families unexpectantly show up, they feel uncertain whether to forgive them and move on with all the pain they have felt being unaccepted by them. But when it's up to them to save their miracle and not fail again, they will have to come to terms with their families' faults and learn to forgive them to succeed. I do not own Encanto, its songs or the other songs. Credit goes to Disney, Lin Manuel Miranda and all the singers of the songs I'm using. The sun rose over the hills and forests surrounding the majestic city of Milagro de Amor. The entire city glowed golden under the sun's radiant rays. The animals woke up. The birds tweeted and flew. Children started running outside to have fun on a new day. In a great manor on a great mound overlooking the city, a loving family heard the morning tweets and opened their windows eager to see what the new day would bring. They saw the city coming alive with morning dancing and singing as the villagers were getting ready for what another glorious day would bring.
Mirabel Madrigal walked onto her balcony as she saw her beautiful home shrouded under the sun. She felt the scent of the jungle's fauna flow up her nostrils and into the core of her carefree spirit. She saw colourful parents squawking as they flew around her house. She held out her arm and they landed gracefully. She pulled out a packet of seeds and she fed the tropical birds.
A blue macaw squawked.
"Why good morning to you too," she said.
She sent the birds off and she twirled around. "What a great day we have ahead," she went back inside and sat in front of her floral mirror. She tied her curly hair into a bun with bangs around her face. She then waved her hands and three golden butterflies settled onto her hair like clips. She polished her glasses and then blushed her cheeks.
Standing up from her seat, she twirled around again. As she danced, the room's furniture danced with her and a golden skirt with butterflies and a white top with golden butterflies embroidered around the hem magically floated out of the wardrobe. She dressed in no time and then the floorboards made her white slippers with golden flowers dance around and slip under her feet. For the final touch, she tied a pearl necklace around her neck with matching earrings and bracelets.
Mirabel danced out of her room and slid down the moving floorboards to the ground floor. She went outside into the blooming gardens to catch the scent of the morning roses that loved to bloom. She gave them a long sniff and the beautiful aroma flowed through her body; yellow roses were her favourite. She plucked one from a bush and she twirled around, dancing.
Juano Sanchez observed the sweet-natured woman dancing around amongst the flowers from his window. He smiled affectionately. He waved his hands.
Mirabel relished the rosy gardens. She endeavoured this as her favourite morning. To her, the blooming of roses meant the beginning of something so beautiful. She had collected a bouquet of multiple colours to put in a vase when she saw balls of colour lights floating around her. She smiled. She knew who had done that. She looked up to the house but saw an empty window. She smirked. Juano. He had disappeared. He was probably gonna sneak up on her and surprise her.
The floating colourful light balls turned into light auras that formed flowers all around her. It was so beautiful. Her boyfriend always knew how to make her feel so happy.
I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and you
Mirabel turned around to see her boyfriend Juano singing out angelically to her with all his heart. He wore blue Columbian clothing with golden embroidery controversy of her sewing creativity.
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Mirabel smiled and she sought to join in the singing. She settled down her bouquet of roses and walked gracefully towards him. They held hands and they began a beautiful dance like a romantic couple in a ballroom.
I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Mirabel's melodic voice made the birds and butterflies and bugs flutter around. They settled on the leaves and the petals of flowers to listening to her angelic voice.
The colours of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Juano glowed faintly but a rainbow formed over their garden, spilling out flashes of red and orange and yellow and green and blue and purple.
Are also on the faces
Of people going by
They turned around and observed the streets down in the city. They saw people already starting their day out, greeting one another.
I see friends shaking hands
Saying, "How do you do?"
Mirabel cupped his cheek gently.
They're really saying
"I love you"
She kissed his cheek.
I hear babies cry
I watch them grow
They'll learn much more
Than I'll never know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Juano held her hands again and they danced around.
Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful world
He spun Mirabel around in the air and she closed her eyes, feeling the sun warming her skin. He then let her down and they held one another as their audience remained watching them. They finished together.
Oh yeah
They shared a quick kiss as the audience cheered around them. They heard loud whistles and they turned to see Mirabel's Tio Bruno and her Tia Gabriella. They waved to them from the windows and they waved back.
They heard loud snorting and they turned their heads to see Sinfonia trotting toward them. Juano stroked his dearest animal companion and fed him an apple. A golden horse with a cream mane and tail approached them and Mirabel greeted her.
'Hola Esperanza,' she smiled.
Esperanza nuzzled her hands.
"How's that foal of yours doing?" Mirabel gently stroked her stomach. Esperanza was a few months pregnant and she and Juano were looking forward very much to the new foal.
"You two are going to be magnificent parents," Juano said proudly to his horse who neighed for joy but he nuzzled his golden mate.
Esperanza gently nudged Mirabel towards the town.
"You sure you wanna go into town?" she asked her horse. "Don't you want to rest?"
Esperanza snorted and shook her head. She was not going to let her pregnancy stop her from her having fun with her mate and family. "As you wish," Mirabel stroked her chin.
"We'll just gather the others and we'll meet you two outside," Juano scratched his chin and the horse mates trot back over to the entrance. They weren't back inside the side-way towards the hall and they saw their loved ones waiting for them: Bruno, Gabriella, their boy Pedro and two pretty twins: Angelo and Harmony. Bruno wore a sweet green suit, Gabriella, a red dress with yellow flowers and Pedro a white shirt and green trousers. Angelo had bushy black hair and he wore a red shirt and blue trousers, Harmony meanwhile had black hair in two long braids and she wore a pink dress.
"Someone's missing. Whom could that be?" Mirabel joked.
"Up here!" a singing voice called. The group turned up to see Isandra. She had grown like her best friend over the last six years. Her hair was long and she wore it over her shoulder braided. Her dress was amber with yellow patterns stitched around the hem, sleeves, and bottom. She slid down the rails of the staircase and landed gracefully on her feet in front of everyone.
"You guys ready to start another fun day?'
"We sure are," whooped Pedro. He loved to spend time with his two big cousins and Juano who was like a big brother to him. They marched out into the light, seeing the city now awake and full of energy. Glancing down at their amazing city made Mirabel and Juano smile. Since they arrived in this land with their miracle candle born from their love, they had never felt happier than ever. To them, they were now living the perfect life.
Look at everybody there, below
All the people that we love and know
And they're waking up to see this awesome morning
Mirabel just loved being in their home full of people who were perfect just the way they were.
They've all got a smile on their face
Another reason we love this place
Cause it's always full of life and never boring'
Juano twirled Mirabel around and they looked into each other's eyes romantically. The others playfully rolled their eyes. Though they loved their love, it was awkward watching them share goofily eyes almost every time. They entered the city and they were greeted by several friends who were delighted to see them.
Look all around us, it's all green and plants and stone
Sunny and so warm, yeah, it's pretty great, I know
And hey, hey, it's another day, like every other
And we don't wanna change a thing
Not one little thing, we mean, because
We do what our hearts say and we're doing okay
What could be better than this?
It is what it is, it is perfection
Mirabel waved her hands and butterflies fluttered around. All the kids jumped to try and catch them. Juano cast balls of light into the air and Pedro waved his hands and little snowflakes appeared everywhere. It was so fun to make it snow in the sun.
Look at everybody do their part
And they do it with a happy heart
And it gives them all a sense of greater purpose
Well, that's the way that we wanna be
We wanna make them all proud of we
Just be your own best person, it's what you need.
Isandra did an acrobatic dancing routine in the town and as she finished with a graceful split, she was praised by flying roses and a chorus of claps and admirable blowing kisses. Mirabel praised her best friend's spectacular skills as a dancer.
Her enjoyment was interrupted by a group of naughty teens trying to torment some kids.
"Do you seriously believe our miracle gives us joy?"
"Oh yes," A child stood up
"Well, how come we don't get gifts and they do?" The boy challenged.
Mirabel fumed and stepped. "Just because not everyone has a gift, doesn't mean they're not special. And my family and I share our gifts and their qualities with everyone,"
Don't listen to them
They're ridiculing our ways of life and we don't do that, okay?
If there's a complication, causin' you to go astray
Just stuff it down inside until it goes away
Got it?
The kids nodded.
Good!
They joined in the dancing, abandoning the troublemakers who stamped their feet in frustration. The party brought the entire city together. Soon they were all marching towards the city centre where parties took place, celebrations were celebrated, and people would come together to remind themselves and each other why their life was perfect just the way it was and it didn't need to be better than what it was. Mirabel, Juano and the family along with Sinfonia and Esperanza led the way. They all chanted together as a family should. They linked arms as they marched as the city leaders.
Now we all said hey, hey, it's another day, like every other
And we don't wanna change a thing
Not one little thing, we mean, because
We like livin' this way
And we're doin' okay
What could be better than this?
It is what it is, it is perfection
Woah-oh, Woah-oh
They broke arms. Bruno spun Gabriella in the air. Isandra danced around with Pedro and the twins. Mirabel and Juano did a salsa waltz with their horses doing tap dancing around them. They arrived at the city centre and instantly it became an atmosphere of dancing and joy. The entire crowd sang together for the final verse.
We said, doo-doo, doo-doo-doo, it is perfection
Woah-oh, whoah-oh
We said, doo-doo, doo-doo-doo, it is perfection
The song ended with partners being raised into the air and the music stopped.
And that's the first chapter done. I hope you all enjoyed the songs. I do not own them. See you all in the next chapter.
