"We're here." Lani says in a sing-song voice as they pull into the driveway of their new home. Hanley huffs as she turns her head to look out the window at the house. Their new house. It's small, not that she minds that. There's already a garden out front. The front door is red white the exterior of the house itself is red. She doesn't love the color scheme but she might as well get used to it since her sister decided to move them across the country to Washington state for her new husband. In the middle of the school year.

Hanley hadn't been (and still isn't) happy about the decision to uproot their entire life for someone she'd only been married to for three months. All her friends are back home. Her life is back home. She doesn't know anyone here. And it's the middle of the school year. She's going to be behind, and she didn't like to be behind. In anything. And the move came right before her dance squad's big dance showcase. It was so close to the actual showcase that they didn't have enough time to completely cut her part from the routine. So they had to cancel. She felt bad that she let her team down. They'd all been looking forward to the showcase only for it to be snatched away at the last minute.

Hanley sighs as she gets out of the car. She grips the strap of her pink backpack tightly in her fist. She notices two kids on the front porch of the house next to theirs. They both look around her age. It's a boy and a girl. The girl has ash blonde hair and brown eyes, and is dressed in a yellow jumpsuit and white boots. The boy has red brown hair and emerald green eyes, and is dressed in a green biker jacket, purple shirt, green skinny jeans and black boots. And they're both looking right at her. Hanley can't read either of their expressions. But the way they're just staring at her is definitely unnerving her. Hanley's attention is turned away from the two when Lani wraps her arm around her shoulder.

"Welcome to our new home. And there's a dance studio nearby. And a dojo."

"Now you care about my dancing?"

"I've always cared, Hanley."

"If you cared you wouldn't have made me move across the country right before a dance showcase that you knew how I was excited for. All for a man you've only been with for three years." Hanley steps away from Lani to stand in front of her.

"Okay, Chad may have been together for three years but we've known each other since we were your age. And you liked Chad before we started dating." Lani counters. Hanley scowls, and crosses her arms over her chest. Yes, she liked Chad before he and Lani started dating three years ago. He had been her sensei since she started at their local dojo at ten.

"That was before he decided to uproot our entire life for his job!" Lani goes silent at that. Hanley turns around, and walks over to the front door. The two kids are gone now. Lani walks over, and unlocks the door. Hanley walks into the house. The house actually looks bigger on the inside than it did on the outside. She finds a room with her name on the door in pink stickers. She opens it, and finds the room already decorated. The room has a queen size bed with a pink bedspread, pink pillows and all her stuffed animals. There's a periwinkle rug on the floor. There are pink cushions on the bay window with pink and blue pillows of varying shades as well as magenta curtains.

"I hope you like it." Lani's voice behind her catches her off guard. "Chad did it for you."

Lani walks away, closing the door behind her. Hanley sighs as she drops her backpack onto the floor.

Jessica walks out of the house with Xander in tow. As she does, she sees a girl around her age and an older woman getting out of a car. The younger one has pink hair and piercing gray eyes. She's wearing a long pink tier floral patterned dress, a pink cardigan, pale pink heeled sandals, and a hot pink backpack. While her older companion has light brown hair and brown eyes. She's wearing a burgundy biker jacket, red dress and knee high brown heeled boots. She doesn't look old enough to be the girl's mom. She's maybe an older sister or cousin or something.

Jessica hits her brother on the arm, and he grunts in response. She huffs with a roll of her eyes, before hitting him on the arm again. This time is much harder.

"What?" He barks as he turns his head. She points to the two. "They must be our new neighbors."

The pink haired girl turns to look at them as she fully gets out of the car. The three stare at each other for several moments before the brown haired woman wraps an arm around her younger companion's shoulders, and she turns away from them. Jessica sighs.

"Let's just hope they aren't as bad as our last neighbors."

"Oh, they weren't that bad." Xander says as they wait for their ride, who's late.

"You're just saying that because you thought the daughter was cute."

"Well, she was." Xander defends.

"You're such a man whore!" She punches his arm. A dark blue car finally pulls up, and Jessica walks over to the car, and climbs into the front passenger seat. "You're late, Nate."

"Sorry. I was with my dad."

"Oh dad, you've got to get me on to your dad's set." Xander pipes up from the backseat.

"No way in hell is my dad going to let you back on set after what happened last time."

"Oh come on, it was an accident!"

"You burned Nikki Delgado! You're lucky she didn't sue you!" Nate says as they drive away from the house. Xander huffs, and crosses his arms over his chest as he mumbles under his breath. "So is that a new neighbor?"

"Yep. I just hope my man whore of a brother doesn't sleep with this one."

"What?! Oh come on, is this pick on Xander day?!"

"What are you talking about? We do this all the time." Jessica says with a grin. Xander huffs again, arms still crossed over his chest. Jessica and Nate both share a laugh.

Meanwhile, as the citizens of Crystal City went about their day, a hand reaches out of a portal of red energy. Followed by the hand is the head of a man with a red chef's hat hiding his hair. The man has a round face and dark green eyes. The rest of his body comes out after. He's a pudgy man but still manages to be imposing. He's dressed in a red robe that covers his entire body save for his head. He looks around his surroundings, seeing that he's still surrounded by the black and barren that is his tomb. Those Mongolian brothers really thought they could get rid of him so easily. They thought wrong! There is no getting rid of Oedious Matrimor! Now he just had to get out of this wretched tomb.

Oedious reaches into his pocket, and pulls out two small balls. One is blue while the other is green. He throws the balls with force, and instead of landing on the floor, the balls materialize into two girls. One with straight blue hair with bangs and purple tips, and emerald green eyes. She's wearing a navy cocktail dress with a fit and flare skirt, light blue braces on her forearms with purple spikes protruding from the top, knee high heeled navy boots. The other has straight pale green hair and pastel green eyes. She's wearing a pale green cocktail dress with a halter top, white feather headband, white elbow high gloves, white knee high heeled boots, white tights and dangling feather earrings.

"Whoo hoo! I'm finally free! It's good to finally stretch the ole legs!" The green haired one says, dramatically extending her leg above her head as she does. The blue haired one rolls her eyes.

"Matrimor, Svetlana, do you ever shut up?" Svetlana gasps.

"Why are you always so mean to me, Petra?" Svetlana says as she puts her leg down.

"Because you're an idiot. I'm ashamed to be related to you." Oedious scowls.

"Girls! We do not have time for this! Now that those damn Mongolian brothers are gone, we can finally-" he's cut off by both girls' eyes going wide, and Svetlana hissing. Oedious scowls again, and sighs deeply. "What?"

"Sir, we thought you knew but… the brothers survived." Svetlana says nervously, her eyes downcast as she hunches over. Oedious' face scrunches up as his rage builds. He was so angry he could combust.

"What?! All this time I thought that the brothers died only to find out that they lived! How is that even possible?!" Oedious marches between the two girls. Then a realization hits him, and he gasps. "The morphers! If the brothers survived, the morphers must have survived as well! We have to find them, and destroy them! Petra, deploy a monster!"

"Um, that's the other thing. All your monsters were destroyed in the big fight. We're the only ones left." Petra says. Oedious' left eye twitches. The brothers survived, and destroyed all his monsters? Except for the two geniuses (note the sarcasm) he called his daughters.

"Fine. So Petra, go up to the surface, and Svetlana-" he starts to extend his hand.

"No. No! I just got out. You can't-" he extends his hand, and the green ball appears in his hand again.

"Don't let me down, Petra."

"Wouldn't dream of it, father." Petra jumps in place before she disappears from sight.

Hanley walks down the hallway at a snail's pace as she looks around the sea of students in the hallway. She'd never felt so lost before. She clutches her backpack to her chest as she finally finds her locker. She opens her locker, and starts to put her things inside. As she does, she feels someone aggressively tap her shoulder. She turns around to see an olive skinned girl with brown eyes standing behind her. Her curly brown hair is pulled into a bun atop her head. She's wearing an off white sweater, a red skirt, and red boots.

"Um, hi." Hanley says, unsure of why the girl tapped her shoulder.

"I just wanted to give you this." The girl hands a flier for a dance squad. "We saw your old squad's performance of Lightning, and the rest of my squad thought we should snatch you up before some other squad got to you first. Personally, I thought you were behind everyone else but I was outvoted." The girl says with a grin as she shoves the flier into Hanley's hands. Then walks away.

"What a bitch." A new voice catches Hanley off guard, and she turns to see the same girl from yesterday opening the locker next to hers.

"What?"

"What she said to you."

"Oh, right. Yeah."

"Jessica Shayden."

"Hanley Evans."

"And that would be Danielle Wilks-Morozov. Resident mean girl of Crystal City High. I'd steer clear of her."

"Yeah. That'd probably be wise. So I saw you watching me yesterday."

"Sorry about that. It's just that the last family who lived in that house were horrible. And the fact that my man whore brother fucked the daughter didn't help matters." Jessica says as she opens her locker. "So since you're a dancer, you're welcome to come to my dance studio after school. Here are the directions."

Jessica reaches into her locker, and pulls out a yellow fuzzy notebook. She writes something down a page before tearing it, and handing it to Hanley. "I'd tell you to drive with me but I wouldn't want to subject you to my brother."

"That's okay. I'll just call my sister for a ride."

So just her luck, Lani isn't able to give her a ride. So Hanley has to walk home to get her dance clothes by herself. She decides to take a shortcut home. But her phone neglected to inform her that said shortcut is through the woods. Not that she's afraid of the woods but it's definitely the last place she wants to be by herself when she isn't familiar with the area. At least it isn't dark yet. She pulls out her phone, and sees that she isn't far from her house. She was almost there. She was almost there. She takes a deep breath then hears rustling to her left. She jumps, and looks around. She shouldn't be scared. She may be tiny but she's also a martial artist for fucks sake. Then hears someone in front of her, and goes for a roundhouse kick.

The person yelps as they fall onto their back. She drops her backpack onto the ground as she realizes her mistake. The person is a boy around her age wearing a blue sweatshirt, dark blue jeans and purple sneakers. He has dark brown hair, and she can see one periwinkle eye as he's covering the other.

"Oh God, I'm so sorry! Y-you snuck up on me! Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. And I probably shouldn't have snuck up on you like that." The boy says as slowly takes his hand away from his other eye. She offers him a hand, and he takes it. Once he's on his feet, she can tell that he's about the same height as her. At least while she's wearing heels. And even through his bulky sweatshirt she can see his muscles. She bites her lip, and blushes. "I'm Nate, by the way."

"Oh, I'm Hanley." What's wrong with her? She's not usually like this.

"And uh wasn't your hair different yesterday?" She touches her hair, or her wig she should say.

"Oh, um, my sister wouldn't let me dye my hair so I decided to just buy a wig. But I couldn't decide which shade of pink or style I wanted so I just got multiple ones. Wait, you saw me yesterday?"

"Yes, I was giving Jessica and her brother a ride yesterday. You met her at school."

"Oh right." She doesn't even realize that they've both started walking again. "If you're their ride, why didn't you give them a ride today?"

"Oh, her brother's car was in the shop yesterday." She nods, then goes to make the next step. And suddenly the ground gives way beneath their feet. They both scream as they fall down a metal tube. Before they shoot out the end of the tube, and land on the ground. They groan. Then Hanley notices what they just feel into. It's a wooden room with five human sized capsules, four large computer screens lined up on the back wall with matching white keyboards, and a table in the middle of the room. What the hell is this place doing in the middle of the woods? "Whoa. What is this place?"

"I have no idea. It looks like something straight out of a movie." Hanley says as they both get up from the floor, and start to walk around the room.

"Yeah. I wonder what all this stuff is for." Nate says as he presses a seemingly random key on one of the keyboards.

"Hey hey, what are you doing?"

"I'm just trying to see what all this stuff is. I mean, who would build all of this in the middle of the woods?"

"I don't know."

"Well, aren't you the least bit curious?"

"Yeah." She admits with a smile. "But we don't even know if this stuff even works."

Hanley walks over to the computers, and presses a button on one of the keyboards without looking. Just as she does, the monitors switch on, beeping rapidly. The four monitors separate from each other as the group splits in half so the wall opens to reveal a large blaster gun sticking out of the now open wall. Hanley and Nate jump back.

"Whoa, what is that?" Nate says.

"Loading Pink Storm Ranger and Blue Air Ranger." An automated voice says as the words come into the monitors.

"What the he-" Hanley starts before the gun fires at them. The energy blast splits in two, firing pink energy at Hanley and blue energy at Nate. And it doesn't hurt. Instead it tingles. And just as suddenly as it started, it's all over.
