This is what happens when I watch the John Schneider and Tom Wopat auto trader add.

This story is set in 2023, but 2023 is like 1983 so, Luke is 27, Bo 25, and Daisy is 26. This is an alternate reality story technically, I think. Anyway, everything's just like cannon, accept coy and vance don't exist. All the time is transposed, with the current year being 2023. btw the General Lee is a 2019 Dodge Charger, and Daisy has a 2017 Chevy Camero. Jesse has a 2002 Ram 3500. The cop cars are 2011-2015 Tahoes, and Boss has a 2021 cadi.

"Hey Luke, you seen my phone?" Bo hollered from his and Luke's bedroom.

"I'll ping it fer ya!" Luke pulled out his iPhone 14, opened Find My, and set Bo's phone to pingin'.

"Ah, here it is, thanks!" Bo pulled his iPhone 13 mini out from under his bed.

"Time fer lunch, boys!" Jesse hollered from the kitchen.

Bo and Luke came into the kitchen.

"I keep tellin' you Uncle Jesse, you can jus' use the intercom on the HomePod." Bo reminded him.

"I'd rather just to holler fer y'all." Jesse set plates in front of 'em.

"Where's Daisy?" Jesse asked.

"She was out shoppin' I reckon she oughta be home by now." Luke pulled out his phone. "She's about 2 miles from here."

"I've told you boys, no phones at the table!" Jesse pointed.

"Yes sir." Luke put his phone away.

"I got a new high score on Crossy Road last night, Luke." Bo boasted.

"Have ya beat mine yet?" Luke asked.

"Yeah, yours is 234, and mines 235, as of last night."

"I'll jus' one up you tonight then." Luke chuckled.

"Let me see your phone, there, Bo." Jesse put his hand out.

"Here." Bo handed it to him.

"Unlock it." Jesse waved it at him.

"Alright." Bo unlocked it with Face ID.

"Let's see here." Jesse went scrolling through the settings. "Bo! This thing says you was on it all night last night!"

"Yeah, I reckon I was. I jus' couldn't sleep, ya know?"

"Yeah, you couldn't sleep 'cause you was playin' roady crossy all night." Jesse handed his phone back to him.

"I didn't jus' play Crossy Road, I also played Asphalt 9." Bo explained.

"There's an Asphalt 9?" Luke asked.

"Yeah, there has been fer quite a while now. I'll Airdrop it to ya after lunch." Bo put his phone back in his pocket.

"How ain't your little bitty phone dead by now, usin' it all night like that?" Luke questioned.

"Would you quit teasin' me about how small my phone is? Mine ain't too small, yours is too big." Bo argued.

"I happen to like havin' a big screen." Luke explained.

"Yeah, well I happen to like havin' a small screen."

"Alright, boys, that's enough." Jesse interjected.

"Howdy, y'all." Daisy walked in.

"Hi, Daisy." They all greeted as she sat down.

"Sorry it took me so long, Enos face-timed me in the parkin' lot."

"That's okay. Did you see my text about the socks?" Bo asked.

"Yeah, I got you some."

"Why don't ya turn on read receipts, Daisy?" Luke asked.

"I jus' don't like people knowing when I've read their text, then I have to reply as soon as possible or it seems rude." She explained.

After lunch, the boy's headed out in the General Lee.

"Bo, quit textin' while you're drvin'!" Luke scolded.

"Just a minute, Luke." Bo didn't even look up from his phone.

"Bo, you're gonna wreck the General." Luke took the wheel.

"Alright, alright." Bo put his phone down.

"Who were you so all fired anxious to reply to, anyway?" Luke knew it had to be a girl.

"Hannah." Bo grinned.

"I thought it might be a girl." Luke laughed. "Ain't she your lock screen now?"

"Yeah, her settin' on General Lee." Bo grinned.

"I should get Emily to let me take her picture on the General fer my lock screen." Luke decided.

"I thought you two broke up when she saw how many girls you was followin' on TicTok?"

"She forgave me."

"How'd you get her to forgive you?"

"I unfollowed all them girls." Luke chuckled.

"Hey, I never sent you Asphalt 9, did I?" Bo picked up his phone again.

"Ah, ah. You'll do that when we park." Luke took the phone from him. "Imma guess your passcode, Bo." he chucked.

"Good luck."

After several tries, Luke handed the Phone back to Bo.

"Hey! it's says iPhone disabled because of too many failed password attempts and I should come back in 15 minutes! Luke!"

"Now ya can't text while you're drivin'!" Luke chuckled.

"Dang you, Lukas!" Bo slapped the steering wheel.

That night, Luke walked into his and Bo's bedroom, and Bo was already asleep. He decided to try and beat Bo's Crossy Road score now. He picked his phone up off the charger.

iPhone disabled. Too many failed passcode attempts. Come back in 7 hours.

"Beauregard Duke!" Luke slammed his phone down and grabbed Bo out of his bed. He hadn't even been asleep, and he was now laughing his head off.

"This ain't funny, Bo!" Luke shouted at him. "Now, where's your phone!" Luke started searching the drawers.

"You ain't gonna find it." Bo chuckled. "An' good luck beating my Crossy Road score now!" He laughed even harder.

"Dang!" Luke slammed his fist on the bed.

"I'm sorry, Luke, I jus' wanted to have a little fun." Bo chuckled.

"It ain't funny." Luke rolled his eyes.

"Well everyone on TicTok seems to think it's funny." Bo chuckled, looking at his phone.

"BO!" Luke snapped at Bo's phone, but Bo ran and locked himself in the bathroom.

Once Luke was asleep, Bo stashed his phone in his sock drawer.

The next morning when Bo went to his sock drawer to get his phone, he couldn't unlock it.

iPhone disabled. Too many failed passcode attempts. Come back in 7 hours.

"Lukas K. Duke!" Bo jumped to his feet.

"Well you locked me outta mine, so I was jus' returning the favor!" Luke laughed.

"That was at night!" Bo shouted.

"I think you can live without your phone for 7 hours, Bo." Luke chuckled.

"Once I get my hands on your phone..." Bo started searching the room.

"You ain't gonna find it." Luke chuckled.

"Dang you, Lukas!" Bo marched out of the room. "You forgot that I still have an iPad." Bo chuckled as he started playing Asphalt 9 on it.

Luke frowned. "Lemme see that."

"No way." Bo yanked it away from where Luke could reach, causing the car to wreck. "Luke! Now you see what ya did!"

"Ain't my fault. This is all 'cause you wouldn't stop texting yesterday." Luke crossed his arms.

Bo rolled his eyes and continued playing.

"By the way, I beat your Crossy Road score last night." Luke sat down.

"How'd you do that if I locked your phone?" Bo paused his game.

"I have an iPad too, remember?" Luke chuckled.

"Dang, I should've thought of that last night." Bo sighed. "Well cousin, I'll jus' have to beat your new Crossy Road high score right now." Bo closed Asphalt 9 and opened Crossy Road.

"If you look at my Game Center stats I think you'll find it hard to beat my new score..." Luke chuckled.

"712? I can beat that." Bo rolled his eyes.

"I wouldn't be so sure."

Daisy walked into the room. "Hey, boys. What ya up to?" She asked.

"Bo here's tryna beat my Crossy Road score." Luke explained.

"Oh, shoot, Luke anybody can beat 712." Daisy said as she looked at his stats on her phone.

"Yep, an' I jus' did!" Bo held is iPad up for all to see: 714

"What, the?" Luke was flabbergasted. "It took me all night to get that high!"

"You think that's somethin', you jus' watch this..." Daisy sat down and opened Crossy Road on her phone.

"Daisy, your high score's only 43." Bo chuckled.

"I've been practicin' on a friend's phone so's I could surprise you guys..." She giggled as she played.

"There ain't no way you can beat 714." Bo avowed and began playing Asphalt again.

About 10 minutes later, Daisy held up her phone. "You thought 712 was somethin' huh?" She proclaimed as she showed them all her new score: 1,200

"Wha?" Bo and Luke starred at her phone.

"See you fellas later." Daisy plugged her phone in and left.

Bo and Luke looked at each other, and then they both ran into Daisy's room. They grabbed her Mac, iPad, and then her phone from the charger in the living room.

"Alright Bo, you lock the iPhone and the iPad, I'll lock the Mac." Luke opened Daisy's MacBook Air.

After typing in many random passcodes, the boys managed to lock each of Daisy's devices for 4 hours each. Then they both ran out of her room, chuckling as they went back to their iPads.

When they picked them up, they couldn't get in:

iPad disabled. Too many failed passcode attempts. Try again in 5 hours.

"What the hell, Bo?" Luke showed him.

"What do you mean 'what the hell, Bo' I didn't do it! Mine's like that too!" he showed his to Luke.

"DAISY!" They both shouted, and ran into the kitchen where Daisy was.

"I saw you boys lockin' up my devices. I decided to get revenge." She giggled.

"Well I've still got my Phone an' my Mac." Luke crossed his arms.

"An' I've still got my Mac." Bo grinned.

"Well you've lost out on your iPads." Daisy giggled.

"But you ain't got nothin'." Bo smiled.

"That's right I ain't..." Daisy slowly picked up a frying pan and chased them around the yard until she was tired out. Then they all went into the kitchen for a snack.

Jesse walked into the room. "Hey kids, guess what? I got Crossy Road on my phone, an' I jus' got a high score of 2,344!" he showed them.

That night...

"LUKE, BO, DAISY!" Jesse bellowed.

"You're on TicTok, Uncle Jesse!" the cousin's chuckled, holding up their phones.
