Twilight: Hey everyone! Thanks for all the kind reviews for the last chapter. Honestly, we thought we would get a lot more backlash for curing Ranma of his curse. But so far, you all seem to be happy for him. Which is a HUGE relief. And now we've got a lot more trouble to deal with in this chapter, and at the end we've got a surprise for all the Ranma fans. But for now, the disclaimer. Kurenairyu and Vegetasragebroke1994 do not own anything in this story. Now, theme music.

*Tonight, Tonight, Tonight*

[Ranma look up at the night sky as the sun begins to rise and the song starts to play. As the song starts, Ranma looks to see Sunset, Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie jumped out from behind him.]

Woke up with yawn. It's dawning, I'm still alive
Turned on my radio to start up new day
As goddamned DJs chatter how to survive
Amazing news got over on the air wave

[Ranma starts reminiscing about his life up to when he got to Canterlot]

Tonight, love is rationed
Tonight, across the nation
Tonight, love infects worldwide
Almost another day

[Ranma gets up and charges into the sun rise. As he does, Master Asia appears and grins as he and Ranma prepare to spar.]

Woke up with yawn. It's dawning, im still alive
Turned down my radio to start up new day
As goddamned DJs chattered how to survive
Amazing news got over on the air wave

[Ranma smiles at the girls as he scratches his head]

Almost another day

[Ranma and all his friends are gazing at the stars in the night sky]

She's a shooting star, good night, good night
She's a shooting star, good bye

[The camera zooms in on Ranma as he smiles at a bunch of shooting stars]

See you some other day

Bullies and Confessions

Ranma splashed himself with a cup of ice-cold water, showing his master and guardian that he was indeed cured of the curse that had bugged him for two and a half years. Master Asia's eyes went wide at seeing his young protégé not changing into his female form.

"I don't believe it." He said in shock. "You really are cured!" Asia got up and walked around his young charge, marveling at how he didn't have a single red hair on his head.

"You know," he started to say. "When I brought you here to this town, I was perfectly prepared for just about anything: you getting friends, getting a girlfriend, getting in trouble, throwing parties. But I was not prepared for something like this!"

Ranma laughed as he scratched the back of his head.

"Yeah well, I guess making friends with a couple of girls who know a thing or two about magic definitely was a blessing huh?" Master Asia could only chuckle at his young student.

"Yes it was. You better be extra good to them boy. Take them out to someplace nice." He said, pointing a finger at his young ward.

"Sure," He said, holding out his left hand. "Give me some dough and I will." They both shared a laugh at that.

"But seriously, when you see those girlfriends of yours tomorrow, you better do everything you can to show them how much you appreciate what they did for you. Understand?" Master Asia said, going back to his semi-serious domineer. Ranma nodded his head to his master and surrogate grandfather.

"Yes sir." He said giving a mock salute and headed up to his room. The next day, Ranma woke up feeling like a brand-new man. He kicked off his sheets and splashed himself in the face with ice cold water from the sink.

And for the first time in years, he didn't change into a girl! He, slipped on a short-sleeved red Chinese shirt and navy-blue pants to go with it and jumped out his window to start his training.

"Ranma!" Master Asia called out as he jumped out into the yard.

"Ready for this old man to humble you again?" He asked as he took up a casual stance in front of Ranma. Ranma took up his own fighting stance and grinned at his mentor.

"We'll see about that oji-san." Ranma said as he prepared himself for another sparring session with his master.

He tried to wait his master out, but he knew his master would never make the first move. So, he took the bait and charged at Asia with full intent on laying him out flat. As he expected, Asia side stepped his initial attack and launched his own counter attack.

But Ranma was prepared for it. He raised his right arm to block his masters' strike to his eyes and with a quick twist of his feet and quick movements of his hands, Ranma had the beginnings of an arm lock and was about to take his master down, only for his master to go with the motion of going down just so he could grab Ranma's leg.

Now Ranma was the one to be taken down! But he was not one to let it end like this! After throwing out his right arm to break his fall, Ranma kicked out at his master and knocked him aside. Ranma got back to his feet and chased after his master.

"Rogafufuken!" Ranma shouted as he let loose a barrage of rapid punches and kicks. Master Asia parried and dodged every strike. As Ranma launched a round house kick with his left leg, Master Asia punched a nerve in his leg.

The pain knocked Ranma off balance and left him open to his sensei's counter attack. Master Asia charged in with a lunging left elbow strike to the chest. He followed it up by wrapping his arm around Ranma's neck and tried to choke him, but Ranma reached down and squeezed a cluster of nerves in Asia's leg, causing him to loosen his grip long enough for Ranma to breath, strike at his master's groin, slip out of his grasp and slip his arm into a tangled up joint lock with his master's arm and slip behind Asia's back, wrap his other arm around his neck and kick side kick the back of his knee.

Master Asia was impressed with his apprentice's growth and ingenuity. But he would not let him win so easily. Master Asia managed to get his leg out of the way of Ranma's kick and raked his foot down Ranma's shin before stomping on his foot.

The pain caused Ranma to loosen his grip enough to expose his fingers enough for Master Asia to grab at one of them and twist it into a very painful finger lock. Ranma's scream of pain was cut short as Master Asia threw his head backward, smashing into Ranma's face.

This lessened Ranma's grip on his master's other arm enough for him to slip out, turn to face Ranma while switching the grip of his hand holding Ranma's finger, and use the finger lock to yank Ranma down right into Asia's front snap kick.

Asia then attempted to twist Ranma's arm into a behind the back joint lock to finish the fight, But Ranma still had a few tricks left up his sleeve.

As Ranma felt his arm being pulled around, he spun in the same direction and managed to kick out at his master, nailing him in the gut. Pulling his arm free, launched into an attack he was sure his master wasn't ready for.

"Shinryuken!" He shouted as his left fist was covered in flames in the shape of a dragon's head.

The attack grazed his master, singeing his shirt and knocking him back in surprise. As Rama landed on the ground, he took advantage of his masters' surprise and lashed out with a spinning side-kick that connected with Asia's solar plexus.

But as he stumbled back and Ranma went in for a shuffling side-kick, Master Asia managed to side step Ranma's attack and come up from behind him, going for a sleeper hold, head lock.

Ranma choked as he fought both to free himself and get some air into his lungs. He managed to step out to the side enough to have room to slam his right elbow into his masters' gut and grab his loosened-up arm in order to do a hip throw to get his master off of him.

Unfortunately, while the move worked, Ranma's struggle made him loose his balance and fall along with his master. They rolled away from each other and prepared to continue their fight.

"Kikoken!" Master Asia called out as he fired a condensed blast of ki at Ranma. Ranma jumped and flipped over the attack and came down on his master with a downward axe-kick at the end of his flip.

Master Asia side-stepped the attack and came at Ranma from behind again. But he was ready this time. Ranma dropped and did a spinning sweep kick to his master's legs. But Master Asia back flipped over the sweep and went back into a ready stance.

Ranma and Master Asia circled each other, looking for any kind of opening to exploit. Master Asia went in for a fast combo of rapid-fire punches only for Ranma to grin as his master was now within range for an attack he had been working on.

Ranma side-stepped one of Asia's punches and managed to grab his wrist and strike his extended elbow with his own rising elbow strike. He then dropped his weight and used the same elbow to strike Asia in the ribs, he then slipped behind him and after wrapping both of his arms around him tight, he channeled ki into his legs and jumped straight into the air.

At the peak of his jump, Ranma started channeling wind ki around his body as he began to spin rapidly. Master Asia's eyes went wide. He knew what this move was, and if he didn't find a way out of this, Ranma would actually win for once!

"Izuna...!" Ranma started to say, but never got to finish as Master Asia charged up his ki and then released a full body shock wave of energy that knocked them apart. They righted themselves in the air and glared at each other.

Ranma brought his hands together.

"Hadouken!" He cried as he fired a larger ball of ki than the one Master Asia fired earlier at his master, but it was easily dodged.

But it was just a distraction. Ranma smirked and executed his next move.

"Tatsumaki Senpu Kyaku!" Ranma said as he started doing his spin kick and charged right at his master. He flinched and blocked the kick as best he could.

Master Asia attempted to put Ranma's legs in another joint lock, but the young pig-tailed martial artist managed to pull his leg back quickly enough to avoid it. Ranma attempted to go in for a grapple of his own, but Master Asia managed to reverse Ranma's attempt and throw him towards the ground.

Before Ranma could retaliate, Master Asia brought his hands back and charged up for another attack.

"Hadouken!" He cried as he fired a large sphere of compressed ki at his young disciple.

Ranma gulped in fear and braced for impact. The blast of ki sent him flying straight down towards the small pond they used fore balance training. Ranma held his breath as his body came in contact with the icy water.

Ranma broke the surface of the water, spitting out some water that managed to get into his mouth. Thankfully for him, he looked down and noticed to his satisfaction that he was indeed still his good old handsome male self.

"I must admit," Master Asia began to say as he touched down on oe of the poles in the pond.

"I am going to miss seeing you turn into a girl when you fall into the water. It always made me laugh seeing you stew as your gender switched."

Ranma looked up at his master.

"Yeah, well too bad old man! No more wet young ladies for you!" He said with a smirk. Master Asia put his hand over his heart.

"Oh Ranma," he said with mock hurt in his voice. "You wound me. Do you have any idea how long it's been for me? Can't you let an old man see a pretty young girl a few more times right before he goes to that big dojo in the sky?"

Ranma shook his head at his master's antics. Then perked up as he felt a very familiar group of ki signatures heading their way.

"Well," Ranma started, as he swam towards the shore to pull himself out of the pond.

"If you really want to see some pretty girls before you die, here comes two right now."

And sure enough, there came Rainbow Dash and Applejack, as well as Flash Sentry, jogging up to the two martial artists. Master Asia chuckled.

"Touche Ranma." He said as Ranma pulled himself out of the water. As the other three jogged up to them, the first thought that came into their heads was 'What did we miss?'

"Yeah, sorry guys. Give me a sec." And with that, Ranma made like he was praying and channeled his ki through his body in order to dry himself off. After a few seconds, he was as dry as when he and his master had started their mourning sparring session.

"You have got to teach us that trick." Flash said to his friend and mentor. Ranma chuckled.

"Don't worry, we'll get to that, I promise. But first, we need to get you guys more comfortable with channeling your ki." Ranma told his gathered students.

"So... does that mean you're finally going to teach us that elemental affinity stuff you were talking about before?" Applejack asked with a curious smile.

"Yeah! Are ya? PLEASE!" Rainbow asked with wide eyes and a pleading smile. Ranma smiled at his eager students.

"I think I'll save that lesson for after school. For now, we're just going to work on joint locks." Ranma said. Rainbow, Applejack and Flash looked a little dejected, but they perked up and started their training.

Ranma showed them the basic joint locking drills he wanted them to work on and left them to it, occasionally speaking up so as to correct any mistakes they were making. After a while, he started showing them how to transition into throws and submissions.

Just as they were starting to get the hang of it, Master Asia came up to them.

"Ranma, it's time to get yourself and your students off to school." He said to his protégé. Ranma nodded his head and told his three friends/students to get their weighted backpacks on and start jogging.

Not long afterwards, Ranma, who was once again walking on his hands on top of a fence, was giving his students encouragement, when all of a sudden, a splash of water hit him out of nowhere.

But this time, Ranma smiled as he stayed a male. He jumped onto his feet and looked up a the old woman who had been a pain in his neck for so long. Said old woman actually did a double take and looked again as her target did not change like he usually did.

"HA!" Ranma shouted at the old woman. "Not today bitch! Not anymore! Not EVER again! YOU OWN ME NO MORE YOU OLD WITCH!"

The old woman dropped her ladle and slumped against the rail. Ranma flipped her off and strutted off once again. As he did, Rainbow Dash looked up to the old woman who looked like she had just lost her reason for living.

"Yeah! He's cured you spook! So beat it and go back to hell!"

As she and the others jogged off, the old ladle lady vanished from sight. Ranma and the others soon made it to school, and saw Sunset holding a stop watch. She hit the stop button as the others made it to the school gate.

"Not bad you guys." She said with a smile. "It looks like you managed to save some time off of your record for getting here."

While Rainbow, Applejack and Flash smiled at that, Ranma stroked his chin in contemplation.

"Hmm. I guess this means it's about time for me to up your weights again guys." That, made the others face fault.

"WHAT! But we just got used to the weight you've got us on now!" Flash wined.

"Yeah, sensei. Can't we just stick with this weight for a while longer?" Rainbow Dash chimed in. Applejack just shook her head at her friends.

"Come on, you guys. You know the old saying, 'no pain, no gain'." She spoke. But Ranma's next words took the air out of her sails.

"Good. Then I'll be tripling your weight Applejack." The poor girls face dropped at that.

"Um...yea me?" She said as the other two smirked at their big mouthed friend. As Ranma started heading inside, a bucket of water came out of nowhere and hit him in the head.

"AHA!" Celestia and Luna said simaltaniously. "Welcome back sour puss. That'll teach you not to run...out...of...school?" Celestia's words trailed off as she and her sister noticed that as Ranma slowly took the bucket off of his head, he, was still...well, a HE

"Surprise." He spoke. The two sisters' mouths dropped. "Ya didn't expect that did ya!?" Ranma said triumphantly as he threw the bucket aside.

"I'm cured suckers! Totally and completely cured! I'm never going to be turned into a girl ever again! YAHOO!"

Ranma started bouncing around the school like a crazy, but happy, cartoon character and the girls just shook their heads at his Pinkie Pie like antics. Sunset and Twilight looked to the principal and vice principal.

"Yeah, we kind of cured him when you sent us after him yesterday." Sunset said. Twilight readjusted her glasses.

"Yeah, and now he apparently can't help but rub it in the face of everyone he can. But I'm sure he'll calm down...eventually." She said the last part as if she herself wasn't all that sure.

As they walked away Celestia and Luna looked at each other.

"Well...now I have to throw out all my water-based pranks I had in store for him. And I had a whole week's worth of pranks lined up too!" Celestia said in exacerbation. Luna looked at her older sister.

"A week's worth? I had a whole MONTH'S worth of pranks lined up!" She said as she threw up her hands in a rage. The two sisters then stomped back to their office, scowling all the way.

As Ranma calmed down and started walking to his locker, he felt the hairs on the back of his neck start to stand on end. His danger sense started blaring like a siren, as if impending doom was fast approaching. Ranma started looking around, wondering what could be making him so freaked out.

No cats are around. No sign of pop anywhere. So what's got me on edge?

As Ranma was thinking this, Pinkie felt her own little warning signs going off. She was beginning to feel to the tell-tell signs of her 'Pinkie-sense' going off.

"*Gasp!* My knees are getting pinchy!" Pinkie said out loud. The others looked at their friend with scared expressions. Ranma however, was just confused.

"You're what is getting what?" Ranma asked his pink friend. Pinkie looked t Ranma.

"Well, it's hard to explain, but, whenever something is about to happen, I get these weird little tingles in my body. I call it my 'Pinkie-sense'." Pinkie tried to explain in a hurry.

"Right now, my knees are feeling pinchy, which means something bad and scary is about to happen." She said as she clung to Sunset. Ranma crossed his arms and looked around.

"Well, I've got something similar to that, but I just call it my danger sense. And it's telling me that something...evil is heading this way.

And as he said this, the door to the far side opened up and out came three girls he had never seen before. And to be honest, from just looking at them, he felt like he didn't even want to know them either.

One of the three looked like a straight up goth. Her skin was pale, she had mulberry eyes and purple hair with aquamarine streaks, and was wearing purple pants with darker purple boots, for a top, she was wearing a vest that looked as if it had a one point been a jacket but now had the sleeves torn off, a two-toned shirt that was red on top and a paler aquamarine color on the bottom.

The second of the group was, in his opinion, the cutest of the group. She had raspberry-colored eyes, light arctic blue hair with Persian blue stripes, and was wearing purplish red jacket with the sleeves rolled up, showing that the inside of the jacket was of a lighter shade, a pink skirt and darker pink boots.

The final girl REALLY made Ranma's skin crawl though. She just looked like the kind of stuck-up snob he would love to punch in the face.

She had raspberry eyes like the second girl, long curly orange hair with yellow streaks that looked like it could be a puffy squirrel tail. She was wearing a purple mini dress for a top, a pink short-sleeve jacket and handless pink gloves, pink leggings with purple triangles, and dark purple boots with spikes on the backs.

But her menacing scowl was her most prominent feature. She looked as if she was angry at the world, or at the very least, everyone who was in her line of sight. Ranma felt as if he should be on guard, and that feeling was only boosted by the fact that all his friends, even Fluttershy, were glaring at the three new comers with malice.

"Who are those three? And why do I feel like I ought to knock them straight into a volcano?" Ranma asked the girls behind him.

"Remember those sirens we told you about?" Sunset said to him. NOW he understood.

"Oh. Now I get why I keep sensing evil from those three. Well, the two mean looking ones anyway. The girl with the light blue hair just seems to be following the other two around like a lost puppy."

"Oh yeah that's Sonata." Twilight said. "Admittedly, she's the least troublesome of the group."

"Yeah. In fact, if she had better tastes in who she hangs around with, she'd actually be someone I'd like to hang with." Pinkie chimed in.

"But as long as she keeps hanging out with Adagio, I say, SCRAM BITCH!"

As Ranma rubbed his chin in understanding, the three girls walked right up to them. The leader, Adagio, was the first to speak up.

"Hmm, I thought I smelt the disgusting sent of perfume, candy, sunshine and rainbows." She said with an upturned nose and disgusted look on her face. Rarity scoffed.

"Hmph, well I thought I smelled overly ripe sardines. And as it turns out, three just walked out right in front of us." Pinkie burst out laughing and so did the others.

"Says the glammed-up barbie doll and the wad of chewed up bubble gum." Adagio shot back.

"HEY!" Ranma said stepping out in front of his group of friends. "Noone talks to my friends like that but me, you got that you crap-faced whore bag?"

Now Adagio and her cronies was taken aback by the new figure in front of her.

"And just who is this? The bottom of the rip-off Jackie Chan line?" The goth girl, Aria spoke up.

"Hey watch it, goth reject!" Rainbow interjected.

"Yeah, don't be mad cause he does it better than you ever could." Pinkie added in.

"Well, he does look good in it." Sonata started to say...

"SONATA!"

...until she was cut off by the other two Dazzlings.

"Aw, what's wrong? Mad that one of your own has more sense than you do, crap hair?" Ranma shot at the lead slut. Adagio was really starting to get mad.

"Watch it, kung fu kid. This isn't some movie where the hero walks away with the pretty girl." Ranma grind.

"You're right." He admitted. "Cause at the end of the day, I walk away with SEVEN pretty girls."

All the girls, and some of the students in the hallway 'ooooed' at that last comeback. Sonata tried to stifle a giggle as Adagio growled at Ranma.

"What are you three even doing back here?" Sunset asked their three old enemies.

"Yeah, did you come back for another epic beatdown?" Rainbow dash asked getting into a fighting stance. Aria looked annoyed.

"Phst, no. Some truant officer found out that we weren't in school and they forced us to come back to this dump." Adagio nodded.

"Look, we don't want to be here anymore than you want us here, so just stay out of our way and we never have to even speak to each other. Got it?"

"Whatever. Just get out of our faces before we catch something from you, ya bunch of whores." Pinkie said as she tried to wave the three of them off.

As the Dazzlings walked off in a huff, Ranma just shook his head at the departing trio of creeps.

"I guess there really are some people who should be left behind." Ranma said as he watched the three walked away. Pinkie and the others nodded.

The day went on as it usually did. Ranma struggled to stay awake during class while Twilight just absorbed it all with a smile on her face. P.E. was his only real joy in school. Unfortunately, his constant show of his superhuman abilities made a lot of his fellow students...want to punch his lights out. Even if they knew they wouldn't last in a fight.

Finally, lunch time came around and Ranma was ready to get something to eat. But before he could, he had to wrestle Pinkie away from staring at Zecora's big butt.

"Come on Pinkie!" Ranma said as he dragged Pinkie by her collar.

"LET ME GO! I just want to stare at the BOOTY!" As Ranma kept pulling Pinkie the others came around the corner and saw the two of them struggling. Sunset and Applejack just shook their heads at the two of them.

"I caught her staring at Zecora again." Ranma said to the two of them. They all giggled at that. Then suddenly, a sweet-smelling aroma drifted into the nose of Twilight Sparkel. She smelled the air and her pupils dilated as she registered what the smell was.

"Puuuuuuuudddddiiiiiiinnnnnnnngggggggggg!" She said, as she grew a look on her face that made her look like she was high. She then dashed off like a bullet from a gun. Ranma and the others looked off to where she dashed too. Straight to the cafeteria.

"What the heck just happened?" Ranma asked. The others looked just as shocked as he did, until Pinkie took a whiff of the air.

"PUUUUUDDDDDDDDIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!"

She yelled as she took off at speeds that would do Rainbow Dash proud.

"What? Now her too?" Ranma said to no one in particular. That was when the others took notice of what their two friends said before dashing off.

"Oh no." Sunset said, bringing her hands to her cheeks. "It's pudding day."

The others gasped. Ranma however, just scratched his head in confusion.

"OK. I'll bite. What's so bad about pudding day?" He asked. Rarity decided to step in and explain this time.

"Ranma, darling, you know how much of a sugar addict Pinkie is. Well, the thing is, Pinkie and Twilight share one big sweet addiction in common. And that thing is pudding." Applejack put her arm around Ranma's shoulder and took over.

"You see sugar cube, this one time, Pinkie caught Twilight eating this pudding during one of these times she said she was doing some experiments. Apparently, pudding is her big comfort food. And they've bonded over that love of pudding so much that whenever pudding is being served, ANYWHERE, they both flip out and go pudding crazy."

"How bad could it be?" Ranma asked with a shrug. And boy did he get his answer.

When he and ther others opened the door to the cafeteria, they saw piles of empty pudding cups littered all over the place. And Pinkie and Twilight were lying on the floor, faces covered in different flavors of pudding, and dopy looking smiles on their faces with their eyes going off in different directions.

"Puuuuuddddiiiiiinnnnngggggg..." The two said simultaneously.

"Oh...that bad." Ranma said as he and the others made their way towards their comatose friends. Fluttershy was the first to reach them.

"Um, Twilight? Pinkie? Can you guys hear me?" She asked.

"Puuuuudddddiiiiinnnnnngggggg..." They said again. Fluttershy shook her head at the two of them. Sunset walked up beside her shy, pink-haired friend.

"Guys, if you can hear us, just gargle." She said. All she got from them was...

"Puuuuuddddddiiiiinnnnngggggggg..."

"Here we go again." Applejack said. Ranma stared at the pudding carnage around him and then back to his friends.

"Wow. You know, I expect this from Pinkie, but Twilight? I expected more from her." He said as he went to the lunch ladies to get actual food for his friends.

As he came back, he put the trays of food down on a nearby table and looked at his still comatose friends.

"Sooooo...how long are they going to be like this?" He asked.

"Huh, could be a few minutes or a few hours." Rarity said as she crossed her arms under her breasts.

"Yeah" Rainbow Dash said. "Or...we could try this..." She said as she leaned in close to Twilight.

"TWILIGHT! Come quick! The library's on FIRE!" She shouted in her friends' ear.

Twilight's eyes shot back into focus and she shot up, gasped, and dashed out at break-neck speed.

"MY BABIES!" She screamed as she ran out of sight. A few seconds later, she stomped back into the cafeteria and marched right up to the smirking Rainbow Dash until they were eye to eye.

"You smug little...certain curse word I can't say while I'm in school." She said as she growled at her rainbow haired friend.

"Ok. So, now what do we do about Pinkie here?" Ranma asked again. Applejack and Rarity smirked to each other.

"We'll take care of it." Applejack said to the pig-tailed boy. She and Rarity walked over to the window.

"Holy cow! What on Earth are Principal Celestia, Vice Principal Luna and and Ms. Zecora doing sunbathing out in the court yard?" Applejack said trying to sound surprised at her lie.

"And in those very revealing micro thong bikinis, no less." Rarity added in. Pinkie's eyes opened wide and she darted out the door as wide as fast as a lightning bolt. Ranma's stared at where his pink haired friend used to be.

"Wow..." Ranma said. "She reeeaaalllllyyyyy wants to see those three in the most revealing outfits possible, huh?"

"Yes." Twilight said. "Yes she really does."

"In fact, she really wants to see all of us in outfits like that." Fluttershy said. "One time she even told me about a fantasy she once had about all of us sharing the same boyfriend." She added with a blush. But her blush was nothing compared to Ranma's blush.

Why am I blushing?

He asked himself mentally. Suddenly, they heard stomping sounds coming from the cafeteria door. A few seconds later, Pinkie came through the door, looking as mad she did the day Ranma told her he had never had or been to a party before. She marched right up to Rarity and Applejack and glared at them with murderous intent.

"What is the ONE THING I told you guys to NEVER, EVER lie to me about!?" She screamed at her friends. Rarity and Applejack grimaced and stepped back from their angry friend.

"Sorry, darling." Rarity said as she held up her hands to try and calm her friend down. "But you were in a pudding coma and we needed to find some way to snap you out of it."

"She's right sugar cube." Applejack chimed in. "That seemed to be the only way."

Pinkie looked like she was about to blow up in rage, but then Ranma came up behind her and waved a pudding cup under her nose. Once she got a whiff of it, she got a placed look on her face. She breathed in deeply and took on a look of serine bliss.

"Mmmm." She hummed.

"Now are you going to calm down you sugar nut?" Ranma asked his crazy friend. Pinkie nodded.

"Then sit down, eat your food, and then you can have your pudding." He spoke. Pinkie took a seat at the table Ranma had set up for them.

"So, anyone else hungry?" Ranma asked his gathered friends. They all looked at each other and then sat down to their own lunch. Ranma smiled and joined them as the rest of the students filed in to enjoy their lunch.

Just as they were starting to really enjoy themselves, the doors opened to reveal the Dazzlings. And they just so happened to walk right in the path of Ranma and the girls.

"Oh, look girls," Adagio said. "The pink human dumpster and her little tramp friends." That made Ranma mad.

"Back off you slutty hag." Ranma said to the slutty looking tramp. That made Adagio gape and the whole cafeteria to ooo.

"Who are you calling a slutty hag, you fashion challenged Chinamen?" She shot back at Ranma. He put his food down, got up, and marched up to Adagio.

"The slutty looking bitch of a broad in front of me, that's who." Ranma said to the girl who was quickly starting to climb to the top of his most hated people list.

"And for your information, I'm Japanese, not Chinese. Learn your ethnicities you whore bag."

Adagio gasped at that last comment.

"Firstly, I am not a slut or a whore. Second, like there's really any difference." She shot back at Ranma. Ranma stroked his chin and looked like he was inspecting her.

"Hmm. Well, you look like a slut, you dress like a slut, *sniff* you certainly smell like a slut, and from what I have seen so far, you certainly act like one. So, in what way are you not a slut?" Ranma said to the frizzy haired girl.

"Oo oo oo! I know I know!" Pinkie said as she started waving her hand up in the air.

"Yes, Pinkie." Ranma said, pointing at her like a teacher calling out one of his students. Pinkie stood up and put her hands behind her back.

"Sluts can get laid and she can't." She said, 'matter-of-factly'. That got a reaction from everyone in the cafeteria. Ranging from 'oos' and ouches to Rainbow Dash saying "Burn!" and the rest of her friends clapping their hands and congratulating the dark pink haired girl.

"Very good Pinkie", says Sunset. "Here, get the snack." she says pulling a piece of chocolate from her candy bar and tosses it to Pinkie, which she jumps up and catches it with her mouth eating it happily.

"Hmph. Figures that the seven tramps would have to rely on some man servant form some third world country to do their dirty work for them." She retorted to the gathered group of friends. Ranma really started getting mad.

"He is NOT from third world country!" Fluttershy blurted back to the lead bully. "Japan is very advanced. And he is a very nice man, not some slave!"

"Yeah!" Rainbow Dash jumped in. "He's our friend! And if we weren't in school right now, he'd knock your stupid, crooked, teeth in!" That made the other Dazzlings laugh.

"Oh really?" Aria jumped in. "I'm sure he could. Oh I'm sooo scared of Mr. Kung Fu over here." She added in fake fear. Ranma just shook his head at her. Trying very hard to remember his discipline so as not to break his word to Celestia about fighting on school grounds.

Sunset got up and tried to defuse the situation.

"Come on guys, they're not worth it." She said as she tried to drag Ranma away form the three sirens.

"Yeah, you might want to listen to your head whore, SARS boy." Adagio said to them. That made the two stop in their tracks. They both cracked their necks to the left. And then to the right. They turned around and marched right back up to the three sluts.

"Whore huh?" Sunset said to Adagio. "That's rich coming from someone who had to sleep her way from one sugar daddy to another just to put cheap food in her stomach."

"They should have just come to my house." Rarity chimed in. "I would have been more than happy to throw them some table scraps."

That got a laugh from everyone in the cafeteria. Adagio and Aria were turning red in the face and grinding their teeth, while Sonata was just licking her lips and rubbing her hands.

"Would you?" She asked. "Because we haven't had anything good to eat in weeks."

"SONATA!" The other two former sirens shouted at the artic blue haired girl. She shrinked away from the other two and backed away from them. Pinkie sneaked behind her.

"Don't worry, I'll sneak you something later." She whispered to the girl.

"We don't need charity from some silicone bimbo who lives on daddy's stolen money." Aria shot back at the fashionista. Rarity gasped and took a step back.

"I beg your pardon!?" She shreaked.

"Yeah! I'll have you know..." she started to say as she pointed at Rarity's breasts. "I've felt up these babies enough times to know for a fact that they are 100% all natural." Rarity put her arm around her perverted crazy friend.

"Thank you, Pinkie." She said. "And I'll have you know that my father made his billions perfectly legally. And I have a job where I make my own money to live off of."

"Pshh. Yeah, I bet you and your mom make plenty of money sleeping with your father's business associates." Adagio retorted. That one made Ranma snap.

"Ok, that's it!" He said as he pushed his way back to the front of his group of friends to look the burnt orange haired creep that was insulting his friends.

"Look here you stupid tramp!" He shouted at the lead siren. "I've had just about enough of you and your bitchy mouth insulting my friends."

Adagio just smirked. "Oh, gee, look girls, the guy who thinks he's Jackie Chan is sticking up for his whores." Twilight hugged Fluttershy close as she started to tear up.

"Well, I'd rather be Jackie Chan than whatever poor sap has to look up and see your botched up face first thing in the morning. By the way, did that last guy ever recover from his heart attack?"

Adagio sneered at Ranma. While Sonata just looked confused.

"How did he get a heart attack?" She asked. Her two...associates both looked at her with a look that said, 'how stupid are you'.

"He got a heart attack from looking at her ugly mug." Ranma answered. Sonata looked like she understood while the other two shook their heads at their 'friend'.

"You call my face ugly? Have you seen miss purple bimbo without make up?" Adagio shot back. Ranma chuckled.

"That's all you've got? Rarity looks like a freaking angel, while you look so ugly, I bet I could stick your face in some dough and make gorilla cookies." The whole room exploded in an uproar of laughter. Adagio growled at the young Japanese boy. Rarity just stood there

"Well, you must have taken cooking lessons from the pink trash compactor over there." She retorted.

"Yeah well, at least she can cook. You on the other hand would steal flies from a blind spider just to put something in your stomach." Ranma shot back as he stepped closer to his newest enemy.

"Nice insult. Did you get that one from a fortune cookie?" She said as she started laughing. Ranma shookhis head.

"Good one. Did it happen to say that your lucky numbers where, 666?" The girls giggled at Ranma's come back.

"Get it?" Pinkie said. "He's calling you the spawn of Satan." Her explanation got a chuckle from Sonata. One that she quickly silenced when her two friends turned to her.

"By the way, I saw a Hell gate open up in Las Angeles, don't you want to catch a bus and head for home?" Ranma asked Adagio and her stooges. Adagio stepped up to Ranma.

"Why bother? Looking at your face makes me feel like I'm already there." Ranma huffed at her.

"Speaking of Heaven and Hell, does the 'g' in your name stand for, God forbid? As in, God forbid anyone from ending up with you as his wife." Adagio laughed.

"You must be running out of insults, because that one felt like a load of hot air." She said to him. Ranma pinched his nose.

"If you're going to let one rip, please stand down wind. Or at least go outside first." Ranma said. Everyone chuckled at his comeback. Adagio blushed as she huffed at him.

"Oh, are you sure that smell isn't you, I mean, after all Asians are known for smelling like onions because they never bath." Adagio tried to shoot back at him.

"I thought that was your breath. You smell like you haven't brushed your teeth in 20 years."

"I'll have you know I brush regularly, sucker." She shot back at him. Ranma stroked his chin in thought.

"Does regularly translate to, every pimp or every other pimp you and your lackies get called to?" Ranma asked. Adagio was really starting to get mad.

"Are slut jokes all you can come up with?" She asked. Ranma laughed.

"Well, I guess I could try to come up with something new. I mean, you make it just so easy." Ranma couldn't help but snicker.

"Hey! Just like you are!" Everyone laughed again. But Fluttershy and Sonata didn't get it, until Pinkie explained it to them. Sonata laughed, Fluttershy just hid her blushing face behind her hair.

"I am not easy. And before you say anything else, I am not cheap either." She said to Ranma.

"Yeah, I admit, you don't look like you're cheap. Free maybe, but not cheap." Ranma said nonchalantly. Aria patted Adagio's shoulder.

"Let's go. We don't need..." Aria started to say.

"Oh, shut up!" Adagio shot back at her before going back to Ranma.

"Look pal, I don't have to sleep with anybody..."

"The gene pool is saved!" Ranma shouted to the Heavens.

"I've got better things to do than this!" Adagio said, throwing her hands up into the air and marching off.

"Oh, I guess the pimp is calling them back to work." Ranma chided. Adagio turned around to look at the young martial artist.

"Yeah, he wanted to tell us he replaced us with your mother!" Adagio shouted back at him. Instead of retorting again, Ranma's eyes went wide and he started to look actually hurt. Adagio saw this and decided to capitalize on her advantage. And the proverbial sound of glass breaking could be heard.

"Aw, what's a matter? Did the big bad karate boy actually get hurt? What, are you a big mama's boy?" She kept chiding him. Ranma's head sunk to his chest and his eyes became covered by his bangs.

"Ranma?" Twilight asked, starting to get worried for her friend. Adagio, thinking she was winning, strutted up closer to the young boy.

"Aw, what's wrong, mama's boy? Aren't you going to come up with another lame comeback? Too sad at hearing about your mommy being a prostitute? I bet she probably gave birth to you after one of her..." She never got the chance to finish, because at that moment, Ranma punched her so hard that she flew right through to the cafeteria wall and landed outside.

Ranma's friends all gasped in shock! Not at the fact that Ranma punched Adagio, but at the fact that he punched her so hard that she was knocked straight out of the building!

"Adagio!" Aria and Sonata shouted as they ran to the hole in the wall that was made by their leader. They turned to Ranma, ready to tear his head off.

"HEY! Who do you think...you...are...?" Aria's voice trailed off as she and Sonata looked at Ranma, and felt true terror. His eyes were visible again, only they were glowing with a seemingly unearthly gleam. And his face was no longer that of the happy-go-lucky boy he was before, but of mad animal looking to kill its prey. And to top it off, his body was glowing with a deep crimson aura of pure malice, making him look almost like demon from hell.

"Um...wait for me, Adagio!" Aria said as she jumped out the window to grab their leader and run for her life. Sonata just smiled sheepishly at the angry young man.

"Um, wait for me guys!" She said as she rushed after her friends. Everyone wanted to cheer, but Ranma's aura of anger and death kept them all too terrified to even speak. Fluttershy and Pinkie tried to step up to him, being very cautious of his apparently foul mood.

"Uh, Ranma?" Fluttershy asked her friend. Ranma didn't even turn around.

"Leave... me... alone." Was all he said. Pinkie tried to step up to Ranma and put her hand on his shoulder.

"Ranma..." He just yanked his shoulder free of her grip.

"Just leave me alone." He said as he started walking away. As he was heading to the door Sunset and the others ran in front of him.

"Ranma!" She said as she as she got in front of him. "Hold it right there! Just what is..."

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" He shouted so loud that his voice actually blasted them back off of their feet. The girls were shocked. Ranma never shouted at them before. Why did what Adagio said to him bug him so much?

As they were shaking the shock out of their heads, Celestia just happened to open the door to the cafeteria and was shocked at what she saw.

"What in the world!?" She then saw Ranma walking past her and out the door. What really irked her though, was that he just brushed past her, not even an excuse me!

"Ranma!" She said as she grabbed his shoulder and attempted to turn him arounrd.

"Ranma Saotome! Just what is going..." She never finished. Ranma turned around and glared at her, his battle aura blazing with a demonic blood red glow, taking the form of a demonic dragon. His eyes so dark with malice that it triggered a flash of PTSD. For a brief moment, instead of Ranma, she saw the visage of the one man she NEVER wanted to see again. She was so scared that all the color drained form her body.

"Leave. Me. Alone." Was all he said. Celestia stepped back, too scared to even speak. Ranma turned and walked out without another word.

So much like...

She didn't want to even finish that thought. She shook her head and attempted to regain her composer. She turned around and saw the girls getting up off the ground, looking like they were just hit by a cyclone.

"GIRLS! What happened?" She asked as she ran to the girls. Applejack was the first to respond.

"I wish I knew. Ranma just flew off the rack for no reason." She answered. Pinkie and Fluttershy hugged each other.

I don't get it." Futtershy said. "He normally is so kind. But after what happened with Adagio, he just started acting like he was angry at everyone." That caught Celestia's attention.

"Adagio? What happened between them?" She asked.

"Well," Rainbow Dash started. "Adagio started insulting us, Ranma stepped in and started having a god old fashioned smack talk smack down with her, and suddenly he stared looking kind of depressed. Then he suddenly punched Adagio right through the wall! And after that, Ranma started glowing with that scary aura. And when we tried to talk to him, he shouted so loudly that it felt like we were hit by the up-draft from an airplane!"

Celestia cocked her head. Something Adagio said got under Ranma's skin that badly? What could it have been that she said?

"What exactly did she say to him anyway?" Celestia asked her favorite students. Pinkie let go of her sobbing friend and turned to her principal.

"Well, she said something about Ranma's mom being a prostitute and..."

"His MOTHER!?" Celestia cried out in shock. "Oh boy. No wonder he seems so agitated." That got the girls attention.

"What do you mean?" Sunset asked her principle. Celestia took a deep beath, this was going to be tough for the girls to hear. But for Ranma's sake, she would have to tell them. They deserved to know.

"You see girls, while Ranma sent most of his life traveling with his father, the truth is, he doesn't really know anything about his mother."

The seven girls all gasped. Never knew his MOTHER?

"What do you mean he never knew his mother?" Twilight asked in shock.

"Well," Celestia started again. "You see, when Ranma was around two years old, his father took him on a training trip around Japan. From what I was able to gather from Master Asia, Ranma's father was supposed to keep in touch with his mother, but according to Ranma himself, he never really heard his father mention anything about her."

"Surely the man at least took Ranma back home to see her, right?" Rarity asked, a look of pure horror on her face. Sadly, Celestia just shook her head.

"I'm sorry, but no." She replied.

"Whenever Ranma asked about her, his father would just make up some excuse not to bring her up. I did some background checking, but everywhere I looked, I kept finding contradicting information about her. It was like someone went through a lot of trouble to keep anyone from finding out about her. One thing I found said she was abroad, one thing even said she was dead. I found a bunch of listings for her name, but I found no way of knowing which of them is his mom."

The girls all dropped their heads. From what they heard from Ranma, they kind of had an idea about what a rotten guy Ranma's father was, but not even letting Ranma see his own mother? That was going too far.

"I don't believe it." Rainbow Dash said. "He really never got to meet his mother?"

"That creep keeps getting worse and worse every time I hear something about him. The no good, two-bit, pile of manure." Applejack added in.

"Poor Ranma. Never getting to know what having a mother is like? Never having her hug him, or sing songs to him.." Fluttershy listed.

"Or throw him parties." Pinkie finished.

"If I ever meet that, that...MONSTER!" Rarity cried in rage. Twilight hugged her friend.

"No wonder Ranma flipped out like that."

"Honestly, I can't blame him." Sunset chimed in. "Speaking from experience, loneliness and rage from a life of bad things piling up like that over the years and no one to confine in, it would drive anyone to snap at the slightest little thing."

The girls were all completely depressed. Celestia put a hand on Sunset's shoulder and looked to her students.

"Girls, I think Ranma might really need you. Now more than ever." She said to them. "Up until now, he's never had a good friend to talk to. But in the short time he's known the seven of you, at least according to Master Asia, he's become a more open and outgoing person. Heck, Asia even told me he actually likes talking about things other than martial arts now. Point is, you girls have made a big impact on his life. And I think if anyone can comfort him right now, it's you."

The girls all looked at each other. After a few seconds of they all nodded at each other. They all went out the door and started looking for their sad and depressed friend. It took them a while, but they finally found him brooding on the roof of the school.

The girls approached him cautiously. After what happened in the cafeteria, they were wary of if he would explode like that again. Sunset and Twilight were the first to approach him.

"Um, hey Ranma." Sunset said, a little bit of fear in her voice.

"Hello." He said, not bothering to turn around. "Look, I'm sorry about before. I didn't mean to explode on you guys like that."

"Oh, no no. It's ok." Twilight said.

"No. It's not." Ranma said as he turned around to face his friends. "You guys are my friends. I should NEVER have blown up on you like that. Adagio was the one that made me mad not you guys."

He raked his hands through his hair as he tried to look his friends in the eyes, but was finding it harder to do than he thought.

"I'm sorry. I... I don't know what came over me." He said as he dropped his hands and head in defeat.

"We do." Twilight said as she walked up to Ranma and put a hand on his shoulder. "Principle Celestia told us about... your mom."

If possible, Ranma looked even more depressed.

"You mean my lack of a mother," he said. Pinkie came up to him and wrapped her arms around him.

"So that's why you never had a party before." Pinkie said as she pulled her sad friend into a tighter hug. Ranma hugged her back.

"Yeah," he said. "Whenever I asked my pop about her, he would just say it wasn't important, or 'Boy! Don't cry about some woman that's not hear like some little girl! You want to be a man, don't you!'" Ranma said, pushing Pinkie away and doing his best impression of his father.

"So, he never even told you a single thing about her?" Rarity asked. Ranma shook his head.

"No. He didn't even have a picture of her. Or told me what she looked like. The only time I ever knew her, I was too young to remember anything about her."

Fluttershy ran up to Ranma and hugged him tighter than Pinkie did.

"Ranma, I'm so sorry!" She said as she started sobbing. "I'm so sorry!" Ranma hugged her.

"Fluttershy, you have nothing to apologize for. It's my deadbeat father that should apologize," he said.

"But, why did what Adagio said get under your skin so badly?" Applejack asked.

"Because, she might be right." Ranma said as he pushed Fluttershy away.

"For all I know, my mom may have really BEEN a prostitute!" Ranma said as he walked back to the rail he was leaning on earlier. Sunset and Rainbow walked over to their friend.

"Ranma, I'm sure she wasn't." Sunset said to her friend.

"How do you know that?" Ranma said, turning to the yellow streaked red-head. "How do you know she wasn't? For all I know, my dad just paid some girl to give him a son and then took me. Which brings me to the other scenario. What if she just...didn't want me?"

Rainbow Dash put an arm around his shoulders.

"Oh, come on Ranma, who wouldn't want you? I bet she's worried sick about you." She said with a smile. Ranma gave her a sidelong glance.

"Really?" He said sarcastically. "Then explain to me why it is that in the 12 years that I spent traveling with my dad, not one cop or private investigator came around looking for either me or my old man?"

Rainbow Dash pulled her arm back and scratched her head. She really didn't have an answer to that one.

"You said you and your dad traveled around a lot, right?" Sunset asked him. "What if they just never could keep up with you? I mean, from the sound of it, your dad would beat it if he heard the cops coming after him." Sunset said as she tried to cheer up her friend. Ranma looked at her.

"Thanks for trying. But let's face it, no one ever came looking for me. I never saw any missing child posters with my face on it, or a missing person's poster with my dad's face on it. So, as far as I know, she's probably either dead or someone who never wanted me for some reason."

"Don't say that!" Fluttershy said, turning the young boy around. "It's a mothers job to love her baby! All mothers would give their lives for their child."

"Then why did she get rid of me!" Ranma screamed as he pushed himself away his friends.

"I was little more than a toddler when she let my bastard of a father take me away! She never bothered to check in on me! And my father NEVER TOLD ME ANYTHING ABOUT HER!" He screamed into the sky. He tried desperately to hold back his tears, but was finding it to be a losing battle.

"I never knew her. *Sob* I never...I don't even remember what she looks like. What her voice sounded like. I don't even remember seeing a smile above my head as an infant." He said as he finally broke down. He lost his internal battle and let his tears fall from his eyes. He gripped another rail away from the girls and bawled his eyes and his heart out.

The girls all walked over to him. Ranma tried to jerk away from them, but he felt a soft pair of hands stop him from pulling away. He turned and saw the teary-eyed face of Fluttershy looking right back at him.

"Ranma," She said to him, tears of her own forming in her eyes. "Even if that's true, you don't have to keep it all bottled up inside. It's not healthy for you." She cried. Rarity came up to Ranma's other side and hugged him close.

"Fluttershy's right Ranma." She said. "You don't have to bottle up things anymore. You're not alone on the road with your horrible father anymore." She pulled away and looked into his teary blue eyes.

"You have friends now. You have people you can talk to. People who want to help you. You. Have. Us." She said as she stroked Ranma's cheek. As she did so, Twilight pulled Ranma towards her.

"She's right Ranma. Take it from me and Sunset. We know what it's like to keep how you're feeling to yourself." Twilight thought back to the time she felt guilty about everything she did as Midnight Sparkle.

"After I went evil, I felt that the evil part of me was still around. I tried to keep to myself, not confide in my friends, and it just made me miserable." Sunset put her hand on Twilights shoulder.

"And when I first got to this world, I tried to burry my feelings. All that did was turn me into a rage monster bent on destroying two worlds. So, believe me when I say, keeping all those hurt feelings to yourself will only hurt you and the people you love."

Ranma looked at them. He knew they were right. But that didn't make it any easier for him. He grabbed all the girls and pulled them into a group hug. How did he get this lucky? How did he get good friends like this?

"You know..." Sunset started to say as they all pulled away. "There is one way you could see your mother." Ranma looked at the redhead with a questioning look.

"I can use my magic to look inside your memory and..."

"Forget it." Ranma said. Sunset and the others were shocked. Here Ranma was, talking about how he was upset about not knowing anything about his mother, Sunset was offering him a way to do that on a silver platter, and he just straight up refuse.

"Wha, but why?" She asked him.

"Yeah, don't you want to know anything about your mom?" Rainbow Dash asked him. Ranma took a deep breath.

"I don't know. I mean...I do, but at the same time I don't." He said, dropping his head into his hands.

"I mean, what if I'm right? What if she did just toss me aside? And maybe you're right, maybe she is worried about me, but what if you're wrong?" He looked up at his seven closest friends.

"I just..." He took another deep breath. "I just don't know if I'm ready to deal with that yet."

Pinkie hugged the young man again.

"Well, let me tell you something Ranma." She said with a fire that Ranma had never seen in his crazy pink friend before.

"If you ever want to know, you just come tell us and we'll be right there with you," she said. Ranma blushed and looked stunned.

"You mean that?" He asked, his voice a little shaky.

"Of course, she means it, sugar cube." Applejack said as she slung an arm around Ranma's shoulder. "We're your friends. And friends stick by each other no matter what."

"And," Rainbow began as she walked up to him. "If she turns out to be as bad as you think, we'll give her a good beat down for ya!"

Ranma couldn't help but laugh at that. He really was lucky.

"Everyone...thanks." That was all he could think of to say. As they all headed back inside, a thought came to Ranma's mind.

"OH! I've GOT to apologize to Celestia for the wall! And for scaring her half to death."

As the others laughed Sunset pulled Ranma aside.

"Ranma, if you ever change your mind about looking into your memory and finding out about your mom, just let me know, okay?" She asked him. Ranma smiled, and hugged his friend.

"You got it."

After a LOT of apologizing, Celestia agreed to forgive Ranma and let hm off with a warning, considering the Dazzlings started the whole mess, if Ranma agreed to help fix the hole in the wall. Which he did.

As school continued on, Pinkie was walking to her next class when she heard something coming from the music room. She poked her head in, and saw Ranma, doing something neither she, nor any of the others have ever seen him do before...

He was singing. And surprisingly very well, considering that he told them that he couldn't sing. And she recognized the song, 'The Sound of Silence'.

Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

In restless dreams, I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

And in the naked light, I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never shared
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence

"Fools" said I, "You do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my words, like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
Then the sign said, "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
In tenement halls"
And whispered in the sound of silence

As Ranma finished, he started to pick up his books and head off. Pinkie quickly dashed out of sight as Ranma exited the room. Pinkie watched Ranma walk off, and as he faded from her sight, an idea came to her head.

Finally, the day came to an end. Fortunately for Ranma, he had become very accustomed to fixing things that were smashed due to his fights. Mostly because Master Asia had taught him what he knew of some strange style called Martial Arts Construction. Apparently, it was a style invented by Construction workers that had to defend themselves while working on their projects.

Honestly, Ranma didn't see much use for the style, that is, until Master Asia forced him to use what he learned of the stye to fix a few buildings that got busted up during a training accident. Thanks to that and his signature speed, he finished in little under an hour.

He would have stayed longer, but Celestia let him go after the wall was up and said she could use the insurance to fix up the exterior of the wall. As Ranma was leaving the school, he saw Sunset, Twilight, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow, and Applejack all waiting in front of the school gate.

"Hey guys. What are you still doing here?" He asked, totally confused.

"Waiting for you, duh." Rainbow said, getting up from her seat on the steps. Ranma tillted his head to the side.

"Why? You really didn't have to, ya know?" Ranma said, scratching his head.

"Yeah well, Pinkie here says she has something she wants to tell ya." Applejack said. On cue, Pinkie hopped up to the pig-tailed boy.

"I felt really bad about all that stuff you unloaded on us today, so I came up with a little idea to cheer her up." She paused for dramatic effect.

"KARAOKE PARTY!" She screamed in her usual excited voice. Ranma just looked away sheepishly.

"I don't think so Pinkie. Besides, I told you guys before, I can't sing." Ranma said to his friend. Pinkie leaned in close to him, a smug smirk on her face.

"Oh really..." She said, reaching into her pocket. "Then how do you explain THIS!" She held up her phone, which was playing a video of him singing. Ranma gaped. How did he not sense her when he was alone in the music room.

Sunset strutted up to Ranma, a matching smirk on her own face.

"Holding out on us huh, pretty boy?" She said. "Pinkie showed us this while you were working on the wall in the school. How come you didn't tell us?"

Ranma looked sheepish again.

"Cause I don't think I'm that good at it. Not compared to you girls." Ranma admitted. Fluttershy was the next to speak.

"Ranma, karaoke night isn't about being all that good at singing, it's just about friends who like to sing getting together and enjoying singing to some of their favorite songs. You don't have to worry about comparing yourself to us."

Hearing her say that made Ranma feel a little less self-conscious. He sighed, smiled and relented.

"Ok. Why not?" He said. The others cheered and Pinkie hugged Ranma tightly. A short time later, the group of eight friends were settling into a booth at the local karaoke bar. Ranma was surprised to see that Pinkie had, once again, set the place up to look like a party was going on.

"How do you do that, Pinkie?" Ranma asked the crazy party girl. Pinkie just grinned.

"That's my little secret, my little ninja boy."

Ranma chuckled at that. But that was the first time in a while that anyone had called him a ninja. Seriously, he didn't even dress like one.

Ranma sat out for the first few songs, just eating some cake that Pinkie had made for everyone and just enjoyed the girls singing various different songs. Ranma was impressed by the girls' singing voices. He remembered the girls telling him about them being in a band and all of them taking turns being lead vocals, but this was the first time he had ever heard them.

As the Fluttershy finished her turn, the whole gang started to applaud her. That was when they all turned to Ranma. He felt the nervous jitters coming over him as he knew what ws going through their heads.

"Your turn, Ranma." Twilight said. Ranma chuckled nervously.

"Um, do I have to? Can't one of you go up again?" He asked. All the girls just grinned and shook their heads.

"Come on..." Sunset said as she grabbed one of Ranma's arms and dragged him up to the mike. "Be a man and start singing."

With a quick shove, Ranma ended up behind the mike and in front of the girls. He couldn't stop himself from chuckling nervously. He never sang in front of people before, and now he was basically being forced to.

"Come on guys, I'm really not that good at this." He tried to say. But the girls wouldn't listen to the poor martial artist.

"Come on Ranma. Just cut loose and have some fun!" Pinkie said as she started up the music. As the music started. Ranma found that he actually knew this song fairly well.

"Oh, I actually know this one." He said as he swallowed his pride, grabbed the mike and started singing the lyrics.

Open up your eyes, take a look at me
Get the picture fixed in your memory
I'm driven by the rhythm like the beat of a heart
And I won't stop until I start to stand out
Hmm, to stand out

Some people settle for the typical thing
Livin' all their lives waitin' in the wings
It ain't a question of if, just a matter of time
Before I move to the front of the line

Once you're watchin' every move that I make
You gotta believe that I got what it takes

To stand out! Above the crowd
Even if I gotta shout out loud
Till mine is the only face you see
Gonna stand out

Till you notice me

If the squeaky wheel's always gettin' the grease
I'm totally devoted to disturbing the peace
And I'll do it all again, when I get it done
Until I become your number one

No method to the madness and no means of escape
Gonna break every rule, I'll bend 'em all outta shape
It ain't a question of how, just a matter of when
You get the message that I'm tryin' to send

I'm under a spell, I'm in over my head
And you know I'm goin' all of the way till the end

To stand out! Above the crowd
Even if I gotta shout out loud
Till mine is the only face you'll see
Gonna stand out

Till you notice me, yeah

If I could make you stop and take a look at me
Instead of just (walkin' by)
There's nothin' that I wouldn't do
If it was gettin' you to notice (I'm alive)
All I need is half a chance
A second thought, a second glance to prove
I got whatever it takes
It's a piece of cake

To stand out! Above the crowd
Even if I gotta shout out loud
Till mine is the only face you'll see
Gonna stand out, stand out, hey

Stand out, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Stand out, mmm
Till mine is the only face you'll see
Gonna stand out

Till you notice me

Ranma ended the song with a wink. As he was singing, the girls were spell bound by how much Ranma had downplayed his own singing ability. He was a lot better than he let on.

"WOW! WOOOHOOO! OYEAH BABY! WOHOO!" Pinkie was cheering as she clapped for her friend. In a few seconds, Applejack joined in and soon enough, all the girls were clapping for Ranma.

He scratched the back of his head as the girls started crying out for an encore.

Meanwhile, thousands of miles away, in a cozy little house, in a small town in Japan, a woman was lighting a candle. The woman was relatively young looking, with auburn hair and a shapely figure, dressed in a navy-blue kimono.

She kneeled down in front of a picture a child of around four years old with black hair, blue eyes, and the biggest smile in the world. She had just lit some incense and started to pray, as was her nightly ritual for the past 12 years.

Ever since her husband had taken her only child away on a long training trip. A training trip that should have been over a long time ago. She had lost contact with them long ago, and while most would have left them for dead, she never would.

Oh kami-sama, please keep a close eye on my dear little Ranma. Wherever he may be. And please, let him meet a nice girl or two that will give me a few beautiful grandbabies someday. Amen.

Elsewhere, in another part of America, a young man, with a cloak wrapped around his body, was walking through a forested area, heading straight for a town in the distance. As he continued on his way, he heard a scream.

He turned and saw a young boy and who he assumed to be the boy's father, running from a bear. The bear attacked them, roaring at the interlopers and knocked the man down.

"DADDY!" The young boy screamed as the bear stood over the prone man. As the bear prepared to attack, it was hit by a flying kick from the cloaked stranger. The bear went flying away as the cloaked stranger stood between it and the father/son pair.

The young man stood his ground as the bear charged at him. He reached out his hands and grabbed the bear by the head. He raised his right hand and brought it down on the bear's head in a strong chop that caved it in.

As the bear dropped dead, the young man turned to the father and son pair.

"Are you two alright?" He asked in passible English. The father got up and hugged his son as the boy ran up to him.

"Thank you." The father said to the cloaked stranger. "If there's anything I can do for you, just name it."

The young man thought for a moment and then asked the only question he really had.

"Which way is Canterlot High?" He asked. The father looked confused.

"Canterlot? Son, that's in Kansas. You're in Mississippi. You're about 906 miles away from where you want to be."

"WHAT!?" The cloaked young man screamed into the night.
