Summary: Baku, a dream-eating yokai, trapped Lee inside her own dream as she must figure out a way how to wake herself up.

On a bright sunny morning, Lee woke up out of her bed. She yawned and walked into the bathroom. She grabbed her brush and started brushing through her flawless mane of her black hair before exiting out and heading towards her closet.

In the dojo, Lee and her sisters began showing their elemental magic techniques right in front of Saldana. Donna formed a large fist out of rock and launched it at the wall after it was flying past the unmoved Saldana. Ellie summoned a small tornado underneath her feet, lifting her into the air with a satisfied smile. Ella shot out a barrage of small fireballs through her fast flurry of punches, which the fireballs then started shooting out powerful streams of flames one by one at the training dummy. Lee summoned a long tendril of water from her left arm and lashed at the training dummy with it, forming a sphere of water around it and expanding it in an explosion.

"That's it?" Ella asked Lee. "Is that all you got? If you're gonna to impress me, try harder."

"At least, one of us can." Lee retorted, crossing her arms over her chest.

Ella growled. She charged forward and started attacking Lee with swift punches and kicks. Lee was able to dodge each punch and kick by retaliating her own kicks and punches. Donna and Ellie stopped using their magic and watched the fight between their rivaling sisters.

"Here they go again." Donna said with a groan.

"Like over sixty times in a row." Ellie sighed.

Saldana stepped forward between her older daughters.

"Enough!" Saldana shouted.

Lee and Ella immediately stopped attacking each other and turned to face their mother.

"We'll continue training when you return home from school." Saldana said. "Remember, you two are sisters, not enemies."

Lee and Ella stared at the floor with a frown, but they rolled their eyes when they glanced at each other for a minute.

Afterwards, Lee stood right in front of her locker along with Ellie, Donna, and Ella inside Roosevelt High School. They placed their text books inside and closed their lockers just in time for their free period.

"Hey, Donna. Can I copy your chemistry homework?" Ellie asked.

"Stood up reading comic books again?" Donna inquired with a grin.

"Yeah." Ellie replied with a sheepish smile. "It's new issue of Justice Force. I can't say no to that."

"No surprise there, but sure." Donna replied as she rolled her eyes.

"Heading to the gym today?" Ella asked Lee.

"Yup." Lee answered. "I have an idea for a new routine for the tonight's game. And you?"

"Just heading to the library to prepare for my astrology test." Ella replied. She turned to Donna. "What about you, D?"

"I'm heading to chess club today." Donna responded. "I'm working on a new strategy that will beat the rival school for sure." She turned to Ellie. "Are you heading to the gym too?"

"Not this time." Ellie replied. "I'm going to get a snack from the vending machine and join Ella at the library, so I can copy your chemistry homework."

"Because you were reading comic books again last night?" Lee and Ella asked with sideway smiles.

"It was a new issue of Justice Force, so sue me." Ellie said with an irritating tone.

Then, the school bell rang.

"See you girls later." Lee said with a wave.

"See ya." Donna said.

"Peace out." Ellie said.

"Later." Ella said.

With that, the Lotus Ninjas walked off.

Later on, Lee arrived inside the gym in her cheerleading uniform and started leading cheerleading practice at the center of the gym. As the pop music started blasting, the cheerleaders danced together with smiles on their faces in perfect sync. They perfectly executed simple arm movements, three High-V jumps, thigh stand stunt combined with two free backflipping, and finally split-lift.

"Nice job, girls." Lee said with a smile. "Let's take a break."

Lee dropped her pom-poms down near the bleachers and then sat down with a sigh.

"It may have taken me three days to perfect that routine, but we're totally gonna win the cheer off at the big game." Lee said.

Suddenly, the rest of the cheerleaders stood in front of Lee.

"Oh, hey. Do you girls need anything?" Lee asked.

"Actually, we've got a surprise for you." A long blonde wavy-haired cheerleader spoke.

Two cheerleaders grabbed Lee's arms.

"What? Girls, this is not necessary." Lee said.

"Trust us. Think of it as an out of this world surprise." The shoulder-length brunette-haired cheerleader said.

The blonde-haired cheerleader opened the door to the locker room. The rest of the cheerleaders pushed Lee inside and slammed the door shut as they locked it with giggles. Lee spun around and struggled to open the door.

"Girls, come on! This is not funny!" Lee shouted. "We still have more practice to do! Whoever this guy is, he can't wait!"

"Oh? Are you sure?"

Lee spun around and let out a small sharp. She found herself staring at the nighttime view on a large lake. She looked up to see the full moon shining in the area and beautiful blue roses blooming around the lake.

"Wow." Lee said in amazement.

Lee then gasped when she looked down and saw herself standing on the lake water.

"I...I remember that I had this dream before." Lee muttered to herself. "When I was just a child."

Without a single thought of sinking or drowning, Lee started walking across the motionless water with each step. She kept walking and stepped onto the shore in front of the blossoming roses.

"This place is amazing." Lee said as she knelt towards the roses. "And the flowers are beautiful."

Suddenly, Lee felt a playful sense of curiosity brimming in her mind.

"In fact..." Lee smiled.

Lee stood up and turned to the lake. With a wave of her hand, she started to create small waves of water from her hands. She then played around with her magic by conjuring large bubbles and solidified dragons around her. Lee ran forward onto the lake with a happy smile and stood at the center. As she stomped her right shoe down with a strong force, the water was solidified in a large shape of a spade.

"Just like my dream years before." Lee said. "Let's see if I can make it possible."

With her strength, Lee channeled her water magic and started raising her arms. The walls started to rise from the spade-shaped ice platform and constructed every corner, every door, every window, and the roof into a beautifully flawless watery palace all around Lee. She had finished constructing a beautiful and breathtaking room that has a spiraling staircase on a spade-shaped platform across from the entrance and a grand solid chandelier with hundreds of faceted, dynamic prisms.

"It's magnificent." Lee said. She looked down at her cheerleader uniform. "But first, I need to match the scenery."

Lee leaped in the air and twirled around as her magic swirled around her entire body. After landing gracefully on the floor, she's now wearing a crystal-blue off-the-shoulder leotard with translucent powder blue sleeves, and a pair of crystal blue heels. Lee looked around and admired her beautiful palace that her magic had completed.

In a dark void, Baku was surrounded by thousands of iridescent crystal balls that had his victims' dreams in them. But he watched Lee through a radiant bubble with interest.

"This mystic must have contained a very strong magical energy." Baku spoke. "Allow me to entertain her with a charming fellow of hers."

Baku blew on the crystal ball, freezing it and dropping it into his hand. He then shook it like a snow globe and crushed it in his fist. When he opened his palm, a strange black blob took form.

Lee waved her hands in the air as the burst of water began whirling around her with the emotion of happiness.

"Hello, my lady."

Lee gasped lowly. She turned to see Leo standing towards her with a welcoming smile on his face.

"Leo?" Lee said. "How-how are you...?"

"What? You're not happy to see me?" Leo asked with a smirk.

"I-I am." Lee replied. "But..."

"This is a wonderful palace." Leo said as he walked up to Lee. "Did you make it?"

"Yeah. It's amazing." Lee answered.

"At least, we're together..." Leo grinned, lifting his hand out towards Lee. "You and me."

Lee grinned back and reached her hand to his own, but she stopped for a moment.

"Lee? Lee, what's wrong?" Leo asked.

"I don't remember...being here." Lee stuttered with confusion. "Here or at school."

"What are you talking about?" Leo asked again with narrow eyes.

"The last thing I remembered was..." Lee said as she clapped both hands to her forehead and stumbled backward. "My sisters and I were fighting...we were fighting...with some yokai named..." Her eyes widened in sudden realization. "Baku! He trapped me and my sisters and…!"

Leo walked up to Lee as he silently reached behind his back and withdrew his katana blade.

"No worries, Lee." Leo said, placing his hand on Lee's right shoulder. "We will find Baku and your sisters pay." He raised his katana sword over Lee. "But now, let us to continue enjoying your precious dream...forever."

Leo brought his katana sword down, but Lee managed to break the blade into pieces with her magic just in time.

Leo's eyes widened in fear when he saw Lee constructing a tessen made of solid water in her right hand.

"You're not Leo." Lee said firmly.

With narrow eyes, Lee swiped her arm and sent out crescent-like blades of water at the fake Leo, slicing him and causing him to explode into drips of water.

Then suddenly, the entire water palace began to melt into nothingness and Lee's illusion leotard changed back into her kunoichi outfit.

Lee then found herself in a throne room that was set up with raised steps and under a canopy. She saw Baku sitting on a dark grey majestical throne chair.

"Baku." Lee said with a glare.

"I see you have resisted your dream world." Baku said.

"You bet I did." Lee said. "And I had enough of your dream tricks."

Lee began to run towards Baku as fast as she could. She swung her water-covered leg forward to deliver a swift kick, but Baku created a reddish-black force field around himself and forced Lee to fly backwards. But Lee spun herself and regained herself in midair before firing a powerful blast of water at Baku, who once again blocked the attack with a reddish-black force field.

"No dream is gonna stop me from freeing my family and my friends from your evil tricks." Lee declared.

"That won't be necessary." Baku said.

Several reddish-black energy tentacles lashed out of nowhere and wrapped tightly around Lee's arms and legs. Lee struggled to break free, trying to prevent herself from getting dragged away. But it was no use. Lee screamed as she got dragged into the darkness.

"Well, Leona, it seems you've destroyed your precious dream." Baku said. He turned to the three crystal balls. "But I wonder if your sisters have the strong will to resist as well."
