Author's Note: Like I previously said, if you have questions, you can leave them in the review. But! I'll answer one right away.

Why does Vitani and Kopa hates each other? The answer is simple, in my headcanon it took longer for them to fall in love with each other, of course they hated each other at first but eventually they'll let go of the hate and will start considering each other as friends, then on to lovers. Now, as for the warnings, you already know them, so I don't need to repeat it.

Tiifu didn't know where to go so she went to Hakuna Matata Falls to be left alone so she can cry in peace, she couldn't believe that she would hurt one of her mommas, she feels so ashamed. She slumps down, tears spilling down her cheeks, what is happening with her? Why is she acting this way, is she herself-

"Tiifu?" she hears her mothers calling with worry, Tiifu growls a little, playing with a twig, why is love so confusing? Can't she- ugh, these questions can be so irritating, she can now take a break from her thoughts, she now sees her adopted mommas in front of her, fresh tears spill down her cheeks again, the concerned mothers come to sit next to her.

She hugs her mom tightly, while weeping, "I'm… I'm sorry, mom. I didn't mean to…"

"Hush my child, it's okay," Malaika smooths Tiifu's tuft, kissing her teary cheek, herself having tears in her eyes, "it's alright, you're forgiven."

"I know…" whispers Tiifu, calming her sobs, Jameela cuddling her, Tiifu felt good in her mama's forelegs, she just wants some quality time with her mommas, the ones… well, tried to be there when they could've, at least Timon and Pumbaa were there for her.

"Tiifu?" queries her girlfriend, Malaika gets up abruptly and so did Jameela, there's no way their baby girl will be hurt by this bitch again.

"Get out of here!" hisses Malaika, wanting to claw this pretty face, while Jameela was ready to charge into her.

Tiifu's eyes have widened when she saw what her mommas was going to do to Zuri, she comes in between them and Zuri, she snarls, "Mom, mama! Where's your hakuna matata? Let's hear out what she's going to say first."

Malaika gives a huff, while Jameela snorts, the meerkat mother folds her arms, "Fine! She better make it fast and explaining it properly."

"I will," Zuri declares, stepping closer to her girlfriend, her eyes getting watery, "I promise… I…," sticking her tongue out of concentration for a moment, "I don't know why I did this; I swear! I was so upset of what I have done to Tiifu that I kind of carried away…" Zuri continues, beads of sweats scrolling down her face, "It was only a one-night stand…"

"Zuri, my love, I forgive you," comments Tiifu as she nuzzles Zuri with delicacy, which made her mommas' jaws drop, Tiifu didn't care, all she wants is to be back in Zuri's forelegs, forgetting of what just happened. "Hakuna matata… I should have remembered that I just thought about it while you were talking earlier."

This made Malaika and Jameela roll their eyes, they should've had known they would hear hakuna matata more than once, they aren't too fond of this philosophy, how in the actual fuck did their older brothers learned such a dumb philosophy. Put the past behind youyeah, they thought bitterly, this is pathetic, our brothers weren't like this before they left our homes, how could…

"Mom, Mama!"

Their thoughts were interrupted by their freckled-face baby, she looks at them with a frown, "Are we good, now? Look, I know your not accepting this but I'm a grownup now, I can…" she then remembers that if she was truly a grownup, she wouldn't have run off to the jungle, "except for a couple of days ago I ran off to the jungle, making everyone here worried. But… but there's sometimes I need some comfort, but Uncle Timon and Uncle Pumbaa were having an argument…"

Jameela hugs her, "Shh, my child, we know…"

"Ah, there are you are!"

They hear Zazu's calling from above them, he lands on the ground, Jameela and the girls waited patiently for his reply, Malaika puts her paws on her hips, "Well? What is it, Zazu?"

Zazu rolls his eyes, who knew both of Maua's kids are so impatient, he clears his throat and they all can hear some disdain in his voice, "Timon has fainted and is being transported to Rafiki's tree."

The four girls' mouth opened with widening eyes, Malaika presses her paws on her chest, "He… fainted? How…" she now realizes this and angrily stares at Zuri, Tiifu rans in front of her and spats at her mother, "It's not Zuri's fault if Timon fell unconscious, it's probably due because of Simba's poor health!"

"Indeed, it is because of Simba's poor health," Zazu comments, he continues with disgust, feeling sick to his stomach, "as for Timon's pregnancy? Good riddance. Male pregnancy is against the law of nature," Zazu takes a deep breath, still having that look of repugnance, "what would your mother and Uncle Max say about this if they were still alive, Malaika?"

"Okay, look Zazu, we all know that this is against nature's law but," she raises a finger up, then pressing it against the blue hornbill's beak, "they're so happy and so all of us, except for you and some animals. My Ma would have been thrilled to have other grandchildren; she wouldn't be happy that you make those tasteless comments…"

"You think? Well good for you, because I won't think so," Zazu remarks, flying with tears in his eyes, they all know that Ma's death was hard very hard him, they were lovers… even mates at the end, they all went to Rafiki's tree, while they were speeding a little, Zuri needed to spew a little in a bush, Malaika gives a long sigh, she marches to her patting her back.

"You alright, dear?"

"Yes mom-in-law, I'm fine," she shakily wipes her muzzle, she pauses instantly of what she just said, "I'm sorry…"

"Look, you can call me and Jameela mom-in-law and mama-in-law if you'd like," softly says Malaika, rubbing Zuri's neck but pinches her ear a little, whispering in her ear, "but you better never hurt our little Tiifu again or you won't get lucky the next time."

Zuri gulps a little, bobbing her head. "Promise, now let's continue our path to Rafiki's tree, even though it is late. We need to give the family our support."

Malaika feels tears running down her cheeks, "My poor big brother… the babies…"

Jameela tries to calm her down, "Malaika, you know your brother isn't dying, he just fell unconscious because of the stress."

Malaika snaps at her, "Tell me something we don't know!"

Tiifu barges between her mothers, "It's not the time right now, you can argue later."

Malaika rubs her temples, "You're right, sweetie," and then sends an apologetic glance in Jameela's direction, "I'm sorry my friend."

"No problem, now let's go see our brothers."

Then strolled slower because of Zuri's state right now, she still feels tinted green, when they were at destination, they heard Pumbaa's sobbing, Bunga was outside his arms wrapped around his head, he was weeping, Binga trying to console him. Malaika pokes her head inside the tree, seeing Timon resting against his mate, while Pumbaa was giving a kiss on the top of his head. Rafiki taps his foot, while clearing his throat, nearly giving a heart attack to the girls, Malaika looks at him with tears escaping her eyes, "Rafiki… is Timon going to be…"

"Yes, yes, he's going to be okay," Rafiki quickly replies, "Now, go sleep."

They all went next to Bunga and Binga, Tiifu went to hug her honey badger cousin, "Don't worry cousin, Uncle Timon is going to be alright."

Zuri ceases Rafiki before he goes up, "Rafiki, something is wrong with me…"

"Ah, yes, I have heard," Rafiki simply comments, "hopefully Tiifu and your mothers-in-law have forgiven you."

"Y- yes… they did," Zuri utters, still feeling nauseous, she truly loathes what she is feeling right now, "I just hope that the rest of my family-in-law will forgive me."

"Now, let's go in-"

"Can Tiifu come with me? I'll be more comfortable if she comes with me," Zuri quickly responds.

Smack!

"Let me finish, you impatient lioness," Rafiki speaks, leaning on his staff, "you may as well bring Tiifu with you," and with that the two lioness enters the tree, even though they know the answer.

Zuri refused to look in Pumbaa's direction because she knows that he must still be mad at her, mad at her for hurting his only niece. Tiifu goes to do a quick cuddle to her warthog uncle, before returning to Zuri and Rafiki. Pumbaa has quieted his sobs and only sniffles now, however he takes a quick glimpse at the girls and Rafiki's direction, he was concerned about Tiifu… and Zuri. He and Timon realizes that the two lionesses has taken a break from each other, meaning that-

"Congratulations, young lioness, you're pregnant."

Zuri weakly smiles, while Tiifu couldn't contain her happiness and goes to hug her girlfriend tenderly, "You're going to be a momma…"

"We're going to be mommas, hon, don't forget that," Zuri smirks at her, she and Tiifu hears Pumbaa snuffle more, she goes to hug him a little, "and you and Timon are going to be great-uncles, Pumbaa."

"Congratulations to you both," comments Pumbaa, smiling through tears of happiness, he then looks Zuri straight in the eye, "and as for you Zuri, we have forgiven you, lately we kind of forgotten our hakuna matata. This is what we were talking," he then looks at his slumbering mate, who Rafiki has given him something to sleep, "before Timon fell unconscious, we were telling each other, Bunga and Binga that you two had taken a small break…" and with that he yawns, "Now, I'll go myself to sleep, if you two don't mind."

"Not at all, Uncle Pumbaa," Tiifu shakes her head with a smile, herself feeling sleepy, but then her face turns serious, "but a question occurs me, why did Uncle Timon go unconscious this time, is it because of Simba's poor health?"

"What do you think, sweetie?"

"The answer is yes," Tiifu nods, yawning, "anyway, goodnight."

"Goodnight, Pumbaa." Zuri yawns at her turn, going out of the tree, Tiifu following her from behind, she turns to her family-in-law, "So, are we heading back to Hakuna Matata Falls, or no?"

"Yeah, good idea," Malaika nods, the honey badger couple were hesitant at first but then gives in and bobs their heads in approbation, Tiifu and Zuri will stay at their home near Haukna Matata Falls, while Malaika and Jameela will go with Bunga and Binga at Timon and Pumbaa's home.

Several hours later…

Timon wakes up in a jolt, he slowly gets up with a paw on his belly, feeling some movements, the meerkat sighs in relief, knowing now that his little girls are still okay after he fell unconscious for the second time. His eyes have widened when he realized he had pushed Pumbaa and jerks his head to see if he was sleeping still, he was. Timon caresses his belly with delicacy and goes outside to see the sky had a mix of oranges and yellows.

"Timon?"

Timon jerks his head in his mate's direction, detecting some concern in Pumbaa's voice, "I'm here, Pumbaa," he smiles when Pumbaa comes to smooches him, he slips out a giggle, he had to cover his mouth, so he won't disturb Rafiki's slumber. Timon sits down, while Pumbaa does the same, they look up at the sky, "It's beautiful, isn't it?"

"Yeah…" he sighs with happiness, he looks down at his small mate, "how are you feeling, hon?"

"I'm feeling good, actually," Timon whispers, still feeling tired because he was rubbing his eyes, but right now he couldn't cease to peer at the sky, "you know, babe, it's very rare that we have a beautiful sky like this, we don't wake up early enough for this beauty."

Pumbaa would probably ask Rafiki later what kind of medicine he has given Timon, this is not his mate, Timon hates waking up early in the morning. He hesitated for a moment before laying down and placing his hooves on Timon's belly, Timon, with half-closed eyes, smiles sweetly at him. He leans against his mate and places his paws on Pumbaa's hooves, then they both lock their lips together. They felt two light kicks, the couple's eyes have become liquid, Pumbaa softly nuzzles Timon's abdomen, while whispering to it, "Good morning, our little pups. Thank you for letting us know that you two are alright."

While they thought that they were the only ones awake, they weren't aware that Rafiki was looking down at them with tears in his eyes, the great kings of the past have sent him a message late at night telling something tragic will happen to them. He gazes up and sees that it's Zazu arriving at his tree, the blue hornbill gives him a skeptical look, "What's happening, Rafiki?"

"Shh, not so loud, hornbill," Rafiki making a hushing sound, he then takes a glimpse down at Timon and Pumbaa, who they continued to gaze at the beautiful scenery, Zazu follows at his gaze and does a little sneer, Rafiki wipes his tears away. "The great kings of the past said that Timon and Pumbaa's lives will end soon."

"Oh that? We all know that they will die soon," Zazu remarks, his eyes rolling backwards, he receives a gust of wind, Zazu couldn't take it anymore and tears escapes his eyes, quivering, "you think it's easy? You know very well I consider them as friends but this joke… they… this joke…"

"A foolish joke it is, hornbill, but may I ask you something," Rafiki sits down, crossing his thing arms, "will you try to avoid them forever?"

"I don't know…" mutters Zazu, tears slipping down his face, but he wipes them away. He's still angry at them for doing this foolish joke but will he be angry with them forever? Finally, no, he remembers that time where they saved him from the hyenas, thanking the duo for saving him but right now isn't the time…

"When will you cease to avoid them, before those tragic events?" Rafiki demands, tapping his foot. Zazu himself doesn't know when he'll stop avoiding them.

Whack!

"It will have to be fast, hornbill," Rafiki speaks, "or else there will be no other time."

Again, several hours later…

Timon and Pumbaa went to rest after they have eaten, well Timon had try to eat but he couldn't keep it in his stomach, just like his other morning sickness, this is the only thing that he dislikes so much about being pregnant. He felt a little weak too, not just tired, so he made sure he went to rest, Pumbaa followed him because like always he was worried.

Back in Hakuna Matata Falls, Bunga was eating grubs with his girlfriend and aunts, however he wasn't impressed with them, telling him and Binga not to burp and fart in their presence, telling him to think if Timon was there. Timon wouldn't have minded at all except for the farting part, that his aunts are right about that. He thinks bitterly, I hope that they weren't that bitchy with Simba when he was a cub, I'm starting to dislike them.

It felt like Malaika have read his thoughts and sighs, "Look Bunga, I know that you dislike us for lecturing you and Binga but… try to understand that everyone has their own way to raise their child or any family members…"

It's Bunga's turn to exhale, "Look Aunt Malaika, it's okay, it's just I'm not used to get lectured like that, and in front of my girlfriend!"

That surprised Jameela and Binga as they look each other, biting their bottom lip, Binga went to put a paw on his shoulder, calming him. It always helps, Bunga goes to hug his meerkat aunt. Then with that they went to see Tiifu and Zuri, as they heard some retching, Bunga and Binga cringed, while Jameela and Malaika began to worry.

Bunga nearly made a comment about Zuri's vomiting but ceased himself from doing so, he didn't want to have another "lovely" lecture from his aunts. Malaika calls out to the two lionesses, "Is everything alright?"

"I'm coming to help you, Zuri!" Jameela instantly screams, charging between some trees, which made some animals nearby afraid. Zuri's vomiting abruptly stopped, then when she saw Jameela charging like crazy, she was giggling.

"I'm fine, mama-in-law. Just those morning sickness…" then lowers her voice, "this will be the first and last time that I'll be pregnant."

Tiifu licks her girlfriend on the cheek, "Don't you worry, Zuri. You know that I'll always be there for you, we promised this since we were cubs, remember?"

Zuri smiles, licking back Tiifu, despite that she was just spewed. She turns back to the others, "So, are we going to see uncles-in-laws?"

"Yeah, why not?" Malaika grins, but then her grin faded, "Are you sure, your alright, Zuri?"

"Yeah, I mean, I feel a little better after throwing up…" admits Zuri, "besides, let's go see how Timon is doing, myself I'm curious to see if he's awake."

They all went to Rafiki's tree, Zuri hopes she won't be sick while they're traveling. She was relieved when she didn't get sick. They approached Rafiki's tree, Bunga enters it to see if his uncles were asleep, the older couple was indeed asleep.

He went back out and shook his head, "They're still snoozing."

Malaika brushes lightly her high ponytail, then took a deep breath, she then lets it out, "Well, let's go eat then, afterwards…" her eyes have widened as she snaps her fingers, "Why not go see Simba after we eat? Timon and Pumbaa can…"

"What is it mom? Uncle Timon and Uncle Pumbaa can…?" Tiifu demands, urging of what Malaika meant, this caused her two mothers to give her a look, the freckled lioness backs down.

"You don't think that Timon already receives enough stress, especially for the pups?"

The others didn't think about that, they took a glimpse inside the tree where the Timon and Pumbaa are resting. They then bobbed their head approvingly, Timon already went unconscious TWICE because of Simba's poor health, so it's a good idea if Timon will stay away from Simba for awhile. Plus, if Simba is contagious...

"Hey guys," Kopa calls to them, everyone glares at him, signaling towards him to keep his voice low, the dark red maned lion slaps a mouth across his muzzle, he then queries, "How is Grandpops?"

"He's sleeping, Kop," Bunga answers, Binga kissing him on the cheek, he then exhales as he continues to look at his lion nephew, "how's king bro?"

A smirk appears on his face, "He's feeling a lot better," and this made the rest of them sigh in relief, but then his smile faded away, "but he heard from herds that the pregnant meerkat got unconscious, hoping that Grandpops will lose the pups and whatever…"

Bunga grunts, "So that means he's sick as before again?"

Kopa shakes his head as an answer, "He didn't eat and wants to see his fathers at Rafiki's tree, he's worried for them. Thankfully, mom and Kiara convinced him to eat first."

"We were going to eat," replies Tiifu, happily, "we didn't eat yet, so we will too."

"What's going on, here?" asks a voice, yawning, everyone turns to see the drowsy meerkat walking forward to his family, everyone gulps.

"Uh… we're going… to eat, brother-in-law…" stammers Jameela, feeling suddenly uncomfortable, afraid of upsetting her brother-in-law.

Timon claps his hands together, "Good idea, I'm starving! I'm so starved that I would eat a juicy pig!"

That insulted Jameela and Pumbaa, but they didn't say anything. Tiifu went to hug her uncles, "Hey, you two."

They hug her back, Timon with watery eyes exclaims, "I can't believe our little Tiifu is going to be a mama!"

"Yeah…" mutters Tiifu, parting away from them. She felt her belly rumbling, she blushes, "My apologies but I need to eat."

"No problem sweetheart but I need to ask you a favour," Timon pets his abdomen with delicacy, "Can you go fetch me some food?"

Tiifu wasn't sure but he was pregnant, how can she say no to him? Kopa buts in, responding happily to Timon, "I can fetch you some lizards-"

"No. Not you, Kopa," Timon crosses his arms on his chest with a glare, "you can't even stand of being around me when I-"

"What does it got to do with me getting some food for you?" demands Kopa, giving him a stink eye (he doesn't care if his Grandpops is pregnant), he just wants to help him, and Timon has the nerves to say that? It's not only Tiifu that can help him out.

"You can't kill the lizards, whatever… without you being sick!" Timon snaps at his oldest grandson, Kopa was taken aback, extremely hurt by this revelation, sure sometimes he can get sick-

"Earth to Kopa!" Timon snaps his fingers impatiently in front of Kopa's half-hidden face.

"What! I-"

He saw his grandpa and great-aunts giving him warning glances, while the two other couples didn't know how to react, Kopa with a low growl departed Rafiki's tree to head back to Priderock, he turns back to see Tiifu and Zuri following him. His eyes have widened, "What…"

"Look Kopa, I know that Timon being pregnant is kind of hard for you…" Tiifu replies, biting her bottom lip, Zuri who wasn't supposed to ran fast had excused herself to go in the bushes to spew, some animals passed by and was disgusted by this, Tiifu snaps at those animals.

Kopa exhales, "It's not that Tiifu… the fact that he doesn't believe me that I can get him food," he then let's a tear go down his cheek, "I just wished he would give me chances…"

Tiifu puts a paw on his shoulder, "Don't worry, Kopa. I'm sure he'll feel bad but now… I must hunt for me and Zuri if you don't mind."

"I'll hunt for the both of you- well, the three of us, I'm starting to get hungry myself," Kopa confessed, his stomach grumbling. The two lioness nods in approbation and then with that Kopa went hunting, it's not lionesses that can hunt but lions too!

Besides, it might help him forget what his grandpops has told him, but oh boy he was wrong! When the girls were talking about… girly stuff he munched slowly on his meat, taking his time. Thinking of what-

"It looks tasty, maybe I should take a bite, but it's too bad I have already eaten."

"Hey dad, how are you feeling?" Kopa asks him, patting a little the ground next to him, Simba obeys him and sit down.

Simba coughed a little, a little bit of blood trickles on the side of his lips. At least it wasn't every hour or less, it's just the second time he coughed today. He looks ahead of him, some youngsters were playing together, while their parents watched them. Kopa in a sudden, speaks up, "I might go to the jungle for some weeks."

He continues bitterly, "At least over there, I'll be more appreciated than here."

Tiifu and Zuri stops munching and looks elsewhere than the former king and prince of the Pridelands, Simba gives a skeptical glance at his older son, "What makes you think that?"

"Because Uncle Timon told him that he didn't need his help," Bunga replies, crossing his arms on his chest, but he then goes to hug Simba, "I'm glad that you're feeling less sick, king bro."

Simba ignored his little brother's nauseated scent and hugged him back, "Me too," then his expression turned astonished, "Say what? Timon really said that?"

Then he starts to laugh which caused Bunga and the others to look at him weirdly, Kopa comments, "I don't find that funny, dad. Grandpops' comment was very hurtful to me."

Simba wipes a tear away, coughing a little, while Bunga was patting his back, "Kopa…" he chuckles, "it's normal for animals who are pregnant be that way. Take your mother for an example, she can be moody sometimes, she can get snappy, they can…"

"Look dad, you don't need to lecture about pregnancy, it's just that… never mind," Kopa bits his bottom lip, staring at the ground, he gazes back at his father, "I still want to go to the jungle."

"You'll understand when you'll have a mate," Simba pats his son's back, coughing a little, not because he's sick this time because of Bunga's stenchy smell, the honey badger got the cue and backed away, the king sends him an apology smile, he returns seriously to Kopa, "If you really want to go to the jungle, then you can."

"Thanks dad," Kopa smiles, hugging his father, the others watched with smiles on their faces, Binga wrapping her arms around Bunga, kissing his cheek.

Simba smirks at Bunga, "So, little brother, when will it be your wedding day?"

Bunga blushes, exclaiming, "King bro!"

Several hours later…

Kopa was on Pride rock admiring the view, tomorrow morning he will be leaving the Pridelands for two weeks, well more. He just wants to take a rest and plus he won't see that bitchy leader of a guard Vitani, just thinking of her makes him want to gag. He sees the sun slowly going down, he didn't notice his mother going forward, slapping him across the cheek, this action made Kopa frozen in place, Nala snarls. "You're leaving us, already?"

"M-M-M-" Kopa sputters, trying to find the exact words to put in, the slapping made him remembered instantly the days he was with Mheetu, plus Mheetu getting him a scar (making his eye blind, of course), why he has a large bang covering one of his eyes. His mother's voice interrupted his thoughts.

"I'm sorry Kopa," Nala replies, trying to calm down, tears rolling down her cheeks, "It's just that… I don't want to lose you again," she then licks her son's cheek to where she slapped him, "I-I-I- I'm sorry for slapping you, son."

"I-I-It's fine, mom. Really. I- I can get over this."

Nala through slitted eyes, "I don't believe you Kopa, what did my bastard of a brother did to you while you were with him? Something is triggering you-"

"Please mom, I don't want to talk about it, I want to forget him…" tears leaked out of his eyes, trembling a little bit, putting his face between his front paws and sobbed, Simba came out and rested next to Kopa, rubbing his back.

"It's alright son, you don't need to talk about it," Simba says, but still in his mind, he wants to know what happened to him, they'll never know that, and frankly that's alright also, they don't need their son fall back in a very depression because of this foolish lion who had made their son have a scar.

Nala takes a concerned glance in Simba's direction, she's worried about her baby Kopa, her firstborn, she doesn't like this at all but she decides to let this drop and move on. She lays also next to him, then her maternal instincts kicked in, she sits back up and lowers to lick her son's mane. Kopa laughs, "Mom! I'm old enough to bathe myself!"

"I know, sweetie," Nala smiles brightly, tears cascading down her cheeks, "It's just I find this really hard that you've grownup."

Kopa also stands up and cuddles her, "I'll always be your little Kopa," he then whispers in her ear, "Who knows if I'll ever tell my gruesome days with Mheetu, if I do… you and dad are going to be the firsts," he grins and then nuzzles a little his mother's belly.

Nala nods in approbation, then they and Simba sees the sun going down completely. Simba slowly gets up, wheezing, Kopa helps him out, worrying for him, despite Simba getting better. "I promise I'll be back, dad. You and mom don't need to worry about me, it's just…" he finally gives in, "I want to see my foster family- well they're family but you know what I mean, don't you?"

Simba chuckles, it ends in a dry cough then he smiles tiredly at Kopa, "Yes, indeed I know. Your Grandpops, Grandpa and Uncle Bunga are very dear to me. Also," he comments, brightly, "don't forget you'll have two little aunts coming up, they'll need you."

"Do you think that… Grandpops will live on, will survive to the births of the pups?" questions Kopa, having a bad feeling about this. "And what about Grandpa?"

Nala silences him with a scowl, "Enough Kopa, your father doesn't need to hear about this. Of course, they will survive," they see that she can't accept this very well, tears once again escaped her eyes, Simba went to her and Nala puts her head gently on her mate's shoulder.

Kopa sighs and goes to sleep, where he will need it, he'll leave in the morning, after all. He doesn't know how many hours he slept or if he did slumber because he woke up, sweating. He takes a glimpse at his family, who were sound asleep. He then went to stare at the starry night, again he doesn't know how many minutes he had stayed in place because a voice has spoken, "Kopa? Are you alright?"

Kopa jumped a little, yanking his head towards the lioness who had questioned him, he sighs in relief, seeing his little sister strolling towards him, "Hi, Kiara. I thought you were snoozing."

Kiara then let's a deep breath, "Not anymore, I had a bad dream."

He has forgotten to bow to his sister, so he did it, Kiara laughs, "You don't need to do it, Kopa. We are family, after all."

"I know, but you know the rules, sis," Kopa smirks at her, his eyes were feeling sleepy, but he wasn't ready to go back to sleep, "Your nightmare must have been about Grandpops and Grandpa, am I right?"

Kiara bobs her head as an answer, he hugs her, "Don't worry Kiara, I'm sure this must have been just a nightmare. Nightmare, not real."

Kiara glares at him, "I know. It's just that I'm pretty sure it felt like it was something that will happen in the future," she sighs, and her gaze has softened, "look Kopa, I have a feeling that you want to guard Hakuna Matata Falls for tonight?"

"Yeah," mutters Kopa, yawning, "It's just that I'm not sure that they'll be happy to see me."

"Of course they will be happy to see you, what silly idea is that?"

Kopa just shakes his head tiredly, "For nothing. I'll guard until morning and after that…" he paused for a moment, yawning again, "You know what? I'll stay here for tonight, I'm too tired to go, Queen Kiara."

"You'll have to say goodbye to them before you leave, though," Kiara comments with a warning.

Kopa smiles tiredly at her, "Of course, dear sister. Let's go to bed, shall we?"

Kiara giggles as she nods, they went back inside the den. Kiara lays down next to Kovu, her eyes closing slowly, she just hopes that the nightmare she had of her adopted grandfathers was just a nightmare.

Kopa was finishing his leg until he heard familiar voices discussing with his parents, Nala comes to him with an uncertain look, "Are you finished with your meal?"

"Yes mom," Kopa hid the bone away so his grandfathers won't see it, then his grandfathers came into view, he went to hug them, which they've returned the hug.

Timon pets his cheek with tears, "You're returning to the jungle, grandbaby?"

Kopa nods, "Yeah for some weeks."

"Please be careful Kopa with your traveling, we don't want anything happening to you," Pumbaa replies with liquid in his eyes, some concern in his voice.

"Don't worry, Grandpa, I will," Kopa nuzzles him a little, feeling the sun going down on his back, "I'll be back before the twins will be born," he gestures to his Grandpops' belly.

Timon puts his paws on his waist, giving him a stern look, "You better be, we want you to be in our daughters' lives, especially if…" he then stops, biting his bottom lip, shaking his head, "no, nothing. Go to the jungle, say hi to everyone for us."

"I will, Grandpops," then with that he said a final goodbye to them and the rest of the family before going for his traveling to the jungle, little he knew, this was the last time he'll see his Grandpa okay.

One month later…

Zuri and Nala were on Pride Rock, their bellies were growing, they felt more tired than ever, Simba was still the same when Kopa left. Kopa. Nala is certainly that he has forgotten them, this makes her resent him. Simba and Kiara told her that Kopa will be back, but she ceased to believe them when they say that.

Tiifu is filled with pride that she's going to be a momma, telling everyone that she can't wait to meet the little one, which causes the other animals to be annoyed with this, she has said this a million of times. Even her mommas seems to force a smile when she keeps repeating that, the ones that are more patient would be her honey badger cousin and his girlfriend. She can't help it, she's just so excited.

She finally joins them and stare at the starry night, hoping that everything will be alright with Timon and Pumbaa. Timon and Pumbaa. They are concerned that something will happen, they don't know why. Mostly everyone thinks their life will end sooner than it supposed to be. Some will be glad if their lives will come to end, they won't see this pregnant male and warthog anymore, some will be sad to see them go and wishes that it won't happen to them. The ones who are worried about them keeps it low and doesn't show to the others who dislikes the duo, due there are way more haters than they are. Wishing the duo, the very best. Hoping that the pups won't be too much mistreated.

Bunga and Binga went back to the tree of life, much to Timon and Pumbaa's disappointment but in a way, they do understand that they need to be with Kion and the others, they just wish that Bunga will meet his baby sisters when they will be born, but they're still disappointed, nevertheless. Timon's abdomen was also growing, he sometimes thinks of his grandsons, proud of them. Their life started to get worse over the last month, they were bullied, being snubbed- sure they already got these treatments since they've heard the meerkat was pregnant, but it got worse, it wasn't just with words, it was also now with physic!

They still refused to give up their home, despite no one is there to guard Hakuna Matata Falls. The family now thinks their crazy- no, not just their family, everyone who supports them, they should be hiding in the jungles for their security. Why are they're stubborn and refuses to leave? The family can always visit them at the jungle but they refuse with anger, even if they know Hakuna Matata Falls is no longer safe. They just want to be near their family. It can be rough, but they can endure the rough days that they are bullied, thankfully for Pumbaa, Timon was saved multiple times for almost losing the pups (some animals wanted to kick him in the belly).

When finally, the whole Pridelands went to slumber (the duo however were still awake), resting against a trunk of a tree, watching peacefully the waterfall, Timon didn't feel his little girls, he's probably thinking they're resting, he snuggles against his mate, Pumbaa's stench is starting to make Timon really nauseous, even sometime it makes the meerkat vomit, he lies to Pumbaa that it's just the pregnancy. Timon finally gives in, losing the patient about the stench problem his mate has. He looks in Pumbaa's eyes.

"Pumbaa, I have a confession to make," Timon confesses, trying not to gag, "but your stench really makes me sick, can you give me some space?"

Pumbaa has taken aback, he was starting to get used to his mate mood swings but that one stung, Timon gives him a glare and was going to speak but Pumbaa interrupted him, "Sure, I'll give you some space, I can go to Priderock, you know?"

"This will be a good idea, your stench is really gross," Timon snaps at him, pointing the direction of Priderock.

The warthog with tears nods and just leave Hakuna Matata Falls, crying silently as he roams the Pridelands all night, he was tired, but he didn't want to sleep without Timon, he tried to think the news of when Zuri was first announced pregnant and then the news that his baby cub was starting to feel better. When he finally stopped at a watering hole, so he can drink, he stopped midway as he felt surrounded by herds of all sort of animals, the ones who hated him and Timon with dark passion, he looks up. He was right, he was surrounded.

Makku speaks up with sinister, "Where's your mate, Pumbaa? He didn't come up with you, or you wanted to take a break from him?"

The warthog didn't reply, he just stared at Makku coldly, knowing his life will be over soon, he'll fight till the end. The crocodile turns to a well-known lion that Pumbaa haven't seen since a long time, "You can claw him, Mheetu."

Pumbaa felt smoke coming from his nostrils, he realized he was seething, Thurston whispered to the zebra next to him, and then the mastermind zebra smirks at Pumbaa, all the animals around him chanted, "Kill him, kill him, kill him!"

Mheetu, winking at Pumbaa was ready to claw him in the throat, but Pumbaa moved a little, which made Mheetu claw him on his side (which he squealed), that was a close call, but he can't always move, if Mheetu's next action will plunge him into his death, so be it. The pain was so unbearable that he collapsed in the water. He saw Mheetu was going to claw him, until he hears multiple roars and with that Mheetu runs off. The herd was going to leave until Kovu thundered, "WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE!?"

Simba and Kiara yells, "PA! GRANDPA!"

They went to him, but they see that he already lost conscious. Kovu with anger roars, "Must I repeat it? What is happening here?" he gestures to the unconscious warthog, "Who is the one all behind this, that wanted Pumbaa dead?"

Ma Tembo speaks up with a dark expression, "The one who had thought of that idea is no longer here, he went away."

Kiara was crying silently (she knows it's not a queen to get upset in front of her subjects, but she can't help it), Simba was going to lash out but Kovu steps on his tail, he shook his head to his father-in-law. Simba is now frozen in place, waiting for the herds to say something more.

Thurston declares with his head high, "His name is Mheetu and he doesn't live here. You'll never catch him."
